(00:00):
Are you ready? He think youcould tell us what to do. I
think you could tell us what towith worst case scenario. I think that's
your betta. Get ready, worstcase scenario. Remember that worst case scenario.
(00:22):
We talked about worst case scenarios.Something just got I don't want what
you t to all. That's abrace, boy, a man, sound
(00:45):
around. I think you could tellme what to do. Who you're talking
to, Look, that's a grace. Good morning, Buenos dias and Ohio
(01:30):
go zimas whatever language you speaking.Wherever you are at in the world,
scratch that, wherever you're at inthe universe, humans and aliens alike,
you are tuned into what we affectionatelycalled the worst case scenario. Guys,
we almost didn't make it to theair today. Our fearless leader chat Abbot
(01:51):
program director chat Abbit. You wasso distraught by the justin Timberlake news he
wanted to just play sexy back atvarious speeds for two hours or straight.
Actually kind of agreed with him,but eventually we came to an agreement.
The worst case scenario would be here, Low and behold, once again,
we are hanging out with you ona Sunday morning. My name is Max
(02:12):
Fuller aka Froby Keith aka Tim MaxGraw. If I wasn't here, the
show would be called as good asit gets, because that's the only way
to describe my three friends here.First up, as a man who's speaking
of Justin. Timberlake is the leadsinger of in Rink, a hockey themed
in sync cover band on Ice.He too, is bringing sexy back back
in eye what they called him theCornfield casting over here in Saint Louis Park,
(02:36):
we simply call him Brett Timberlake Moore, what's that? Brett Blakemore say
my name and I am here.I'm here. Love it nice? I
like that one. I like thein Rink one. This is pretty good,
right, Yeah, thank you appreciatehim. I'll pat myself on the
back for that one. Next up, we got a man who was nicknamed
(02:57):
the Stallion long before Megan Ever hitthe scene. Oh boy. He was
recently announced to be the face ofthe brand new Victor's Secret Men's Lingerie line.
He is the Long Island Sound, the Five Borough Bellow, the Human
Onion, the International Man of Mystery, Mister Robbie Rosenhaus. It's good to
be here with everybody, especially ournext guest here. But fantastic job by
(03:21):
you guys on Friday filling in forPathing and uh, it's it's fun to
be back in here today to goover the world of sports. Thank you,
thank you well. Actually he's aheel now, so he doesn't really
do that anymore, does he?Not really making her triumphant return to the
show. We have a woman who'sbeen kicking so much ass over the past
(03:42):
few weeks that Chuck Norris himself senther a personal letter admiring her work.
If you saw her dropping it lowerthan the last guy in the limbow line
at the Morgan Wallen concert on Friday, mind your business. She is the
pull Tab Princess, the Dame ofDabbers, the future Missus Chris Finch,
and the current Queen of our Heartsthrough royalty and our very very very special
(04:03):
guest, Hailey Darling. Welcome backto he Hailey Haley, Haley Halee.
I missed you guys so much, and honestly, I think instead of being
the poll tad Princess the last month, I should be the populist Princess.
I have been physically unable to performthe last couple of weeks. So thank
(04:27):
you guys for being so sweet tome and all your kind words. Well,
I have not been feeling well,so I appreciate it. No,
we're glad you're feeling better. We'reglad you're back. We missed you.
I especially missed you. Last week. We talked about Florida for like an
hour, and we were we hada debate on how much of an impact
Lil Wayne and Little John had onthe on the history of music. Oh
(04:50):
and Max actually got it from hischair to defend not one, but both
of them. So he had somesome some really strong takes on you know
what. I would call that segmentin one word, timeless timeless because I
said that Florida's timeless music. Yes, timeless. Yeah I was, I
was a booed out of the building, but it's true. And then Brett
(05:12):
called out pit Bull and said thathe has some of the worst music.
Yeah, some of the worst music. I don't love Pitbull either. I
agree with the flow Rider thing, though I was a little disappointed. Did
you guys see the video when floorRider was at the target field a couple
of weeks ago or whatever? Yeah, Max was there. Uh, the
social media team from The Twins askedall of the Twins players like a line
(05:36):
from apple bottom jeans and boots withthe cur and like ninety percent of them
had no idea what they were talkingabout. And I horrified. You could
go on like a thirteen game runagain winning, but I'm still going to
be upset about not knowing what Shortywas wearing for sure? Yeah, what
(05:58):
did she have on? How doyou not know? Apple bottom jeans and
boots with the fur. It's justhorrific I've ever seen. Hangover? Come
on, get some culture history. What are we? What are we not
the table? Carlos, come on, come on? Have you not been
to a Sweet sixteen in the pastfifteen? Serious? For real though,
(06:19):
And while we're on the subject ofmusic, you know everybody and their mama
was out at the Morgan Wallen concert. There's two of them, I believe,
right back to back days. Yeah, you might have might have done
both, ye course, might haveended up at both, ended up at
Yeah. I hate nice, youknow, I just I am the epitome
(06:43):
of failing upwards. Like as oflast Saturday, I wasn't going to either
show, and I ended up inthe pit for both shows, So I'm
not going to take that for granted. I know, sorry, thank you
like that, that's not really myjam according to some people. I don't
really know anything about the format, but I do love seeing, like the
(07:06):
whole city just feel joy from livemusic, you know, like when a
certain artist comes in and you justsee everybody out at the concert. And
of course I'm not mad at seeingall the pretty ladies in the cowboy boots
and the cowboy hats you on Instagramand stuff like that too. There's no
better place in the world exactly, you know what I'm saying. So,
like, I just love seeing thejoy that live music brings to people.
(07:28):
And I mean, he's a hugefreaking stars it's pretty astounding. Well it's
crazy. Two years ago I sawhim open for Eric Church at us Bank
Stadium. He was playing at seveno'clock in June. It's bright out,
there's not really a vibe. I'mlike, he's not that great. I
didn't love it, wasn't super impressed. Two years later, he's headlining two
back to back shows. That's insane. It's nuts, and it was.
(07:50):
It was epic. His his stagepresence was awesome. He sounded a little
bit tired the next day, whichis understandable. Sure, both both shows
were so much fun. The crowdenergy was great, people were loving it,
so I thought, I thought hewas fantastic. But I'm also not
John Breem. So you know,I go in. I find joy in
(08:13):
music. So I love live shows, right, And I know you've been
to a lot, Robbie. Iknow you've been to a lot bred Blake
More. You like live music,So I wanted to ask you guys on
the subject of concerts, what isthe best concert that you've ever been to
in your life. It's it's hard, it's hard to rank. I got
one that stands out in my mind. Romstein. Really Wow, Romstein.
(08:37):
I went and saw Romstein and Ifeel like that was at US Big Stadium.
Yeah it was. Yeah, thatis the gold standard that I will
hold every single concert to for probablythe rest of my life. It was
incredible, just the whole theatrics ofit. There was pyro technics everywhere,
There was fire shooting out of guitars. There was they had flame they literally
(09:01):
got certified to use flame throwers. And at one point the keyboard, this
dude was like in a giant cauldronplaying the keyboard and somebody else was shooting
a flamethrower at him. I mean, it was just it was incredible.
They wrote a raft around the wholecrowd like it was my my whole body.
My bones were shaken from how loudit was. Didn't understand a damn
word that they said whatsoever. Yeah, scary, you know, just a
(09:24):
whole whole US Bank stadium pulling peopleshouting words and German like, yeah,
whoa, but it was, man, it was you're not supposed to wave
your hands in the air. Justdon't care people. I'm like, everybody
be cool. But it was.It was so much freaking fun. Like
even my friend who doesn't listen toany rock music whatsoever, it was like
(09:46):
the more he thought about it thathe was just like, dude, I
think that was the best concert I'veever been to in my life. But
it was a whole entire show thatin Rod Stewart. Two best concerts ever
rhythm Ug. I've never seen RodStewart and I've always I want to.
I need to go see him.I seen him. Yeah, he's really
good. I just kind of wentand did it on a whim. I
was I was dog watching bonuses dogthis was not the time that the dog
(10:07):
got high. Comment brought that upthe other day as Rosie's got a dog
watching Rosie come out. I won't. I won't bring no weed to the
crew. Bro. I can watchthe dog, but Elvis, I will
take you high. Yeah. AndI just saw that there was a concert.
I was like, what's going onin the cities. I saw that
there was a concert Rod Stewart.I'm like, at the time, I'm
(10:30):
not gonna lie to you. WhenI bought the ticket, I probably I
couldn't have named one single Rod Stewart'ssong, but it was one of those
things where the more you listen toit, the more it's like, oh,
that's all. It's all seven dollars. I was like, why not?
And I'm the biggest road seven literallyseven dollars. Yeah, bought like
an hour before the concert started, like an hour or two before the see
an Irish singer than to buy aclass of Irish whiskey. Fair enough,
(10:54):
And yeah, he had I meanhe had people playing the harp, he
was making outfit changes, he hadbackup singers, dancers. He's kicking beach.
He's like eighty years old. He'sa kicking soccer balls and beach balls
in the crowd. He's running around, guys were playing the saxophone. It
was so much freaking fun like itwas just an absolute show. So Rod
Stewart and Romstein two very different sidesof the spectrum, but those are the
(11:15):
two best concerts I've ever been to. How about you, guys? Well,
okay, so I have a smallshow that was amazing for me,
and this is going to be anotheroh good for you moment. Last summer
I went on a K one Otwo boat cruise. Shout out Rachel for
the tickets from K one O twoand uh By cruise. And Jake Owen,
(11:39):
who is one of my favorite countryartists. He he did an acoustic
show which was awesome. Greg Sweedberg, the king of country music, got
this set up. It was sofun and Jake Owen did a few songs
and then he was taking requests fromthe crowd and I yelled. I was
like three rows behind yelling the songAlone with You, and some other girl
(12:05):
in front of me requested a songand he looks at the girl and he
goes, I heard your request, but the dark the girl with the dark
hair caught my eye. So I'mmissing more song, so he sang alone
with You to me for me,and I lost my mind. It was
so cool. People were like,he's singing this to you right now.
It was the coolest thing ever.So yeah, love that for me.
(12:28):
And then Era's tour last year TaylorSwift. It was the most incredible show.
It was over three hours, NonStop. You know, you guys know
me. I'm always on my phone. I wasn't on my phone once.
I don't. I have no videos, no pictures from it. I was
just in tranced and it's the highestof High's scream singing amazing songs like Cruel
(12:52):
Summer, and then she sings shedoes the ten minute version of All Too
Well, and then you're crying likeyour heart is broken. I wasn't even
depressed, and I'm like, yep, really going through right? Yeah about
some like act like middle school orsomething? Yeah? Yeah, So those
are my two I'll wout you BrettBlake Mark, what is the best concert
that you've ever seen live with yourown two eyes? So with music in
(13:16):
general, I feel like what youwere listening to when you were fifteen or
sixteen is always like that is peakmusic for whatever age. You are when
you were fifteen and whatever you werelistening to at that point, that is
like, that's my jam. Itotally. I'd say like people have like
a home genre, like a homebase for music that the rest of their
(13:37):
interest kind of branch out of.So Warp Tour twenty eleven, I was
fifteen, you write that down wasincredible, like a pivotal point in my
musical life. Like my favorite bandAugust Burns Red was there less than Jake
shaved a kid's head on stage.Wow. But my favorite live in in
(14:00):
I just saw them again a coupledays ago is a day to remember.
They put on the best live Sothe show that I just went and saw
include it but not limited to streamers, confetti, flames, smoke, beach
balls, toilet paper, and aguy dressed as Mario with a T shirt
gun and in this show it wasunbelievable. And rock concerts are the best,
(14:22):
man, it's there's nothing like it. So yeah, there's there's my
boring answer for that. I mean, only one comes to mind here,
and it's kind of a combo platterbecause growing up, I mean, this
was my second home, schae Stadium. Now it's demolished, two thousand and
eight, and Billy Joel was myfavorite music artists. So he performed two
shows at Chase Stadium back to backnights, and not only it wasn't him,
(14:43):
but we had Tony Bennett come out, Garth Brooks, John Mayer,
Steven Tyler, Roger Daltrey, Johnmellencamp and Paul McCartney came out and saying
let it be. And it wasquite something to be there both nights with
fifty thousand people on each night ashe played the final concerts ever at Shay
Stadium in Queens, New York.So those two and then next door actually
(15:05):
a few years later, I gotto see Paul Simon of Simon and Garfunkel
play one of his last shows andWho's underrated Garfundt? Yeah, so there
you go. So I saw PaulSimon a Flushing Meadows park out out in
the park where just by where hegrew up and where I grew up.
(15:26):
So those would be two kind ofthrowbacks, and with the little New York
field there. But the Billy Joelconcerts were incredible just because of the guest
stars. Yeah, I can onlyimagine. Can I have goosebumps right now?
Thinking about that, because I've seenthe videos from those shows when he
does Shameless with Garth Yes, Shameless. Yeah, my god, that is
so beautiful and just I would havesobbed the whole time. I sobbed.
(15:48):
I saw Billy Joel in twenty fifteenhere and then I've seen Paul McCartney twice.
Cry the entire time because you can'tbelieve you're seeing these people. Saw
a lot of my family are ourlaw enforcement in New York, and a
couple of my cousins got me intothe sound checks, so I got to
hear all those guest stars before,so that was kind of cool. Yeah,
(16:11):
so it was a lot of fun. So there, that sounds fun.
Man, Billy Joel, I likelike Hayley, So he's such a
legendary artist that you got. It'sgot to be kind of surreal just to
even see it, because these arepeople you only ever see on a screen,
you know, so when you seethem in real life, Like the
first time I saw Lil Wayne,my friend said he turned around and I
was literally I had my hands onmy head and was just like he's there,
(16:32):
Ye, like he's real there, this is the guy I was burning
CDs from the library to listen toas a kid, and now he's just
right there in my face. Soit's always surreal, especially someone like Billy
Jail. I had to have beenjust mind blowing. Yeah, it was.
It was pretty intense. Actually,I've seen him a couple of times
in the past few years. Hewas here with Stevie Nick's last November at
(16:52):
us Bank Stadium, uh, AndI saw him at Notre Dame Stadium just
a couple of years ago. He'she's actually playing his lab show. Ever.
He at Madison Square Garden next month. He's ending a string of over
two hundred consecutive sellouts at Madison SquareGarden. So he's kind of like the
house band there and he keeps sellingout and he just keeps playing. He's
like almost eighty years old, andhe just gets out there. And now
(17:15):
he doesn't sing in the same octavesthat he used to. You know,
some of the songs a little bit, but you know, you don't need
anything more than a piano and amicrophone to sing piano man for four and
a half minutes. Yeah to youknow, sixty thousand people just wanted to
sway to the music. So BillyJoel not too many more times you gotta
get to go see him. Buthe's a legend and he's my favorite ever,
(17:36):
So there you go. Oh,go ahead. Have you seen him
at Madison Square? Yes, Iwanted to go to one of those shows
so bad and I never have goneso quick. Story during the night of
Game one of the two thousand WorldSeries, which was Mets Yankees, which
nobody outside of New York cared about. That night, I had tickets to
Elton John and Billy Joel at MadisonSquare Garden. As a kid, how
(17:57):
to go to the concert and listento the game on my little walkman there
on the train and in the andand and just have it in one ear
and listen to the concert and theother. But yeah, Elton John and
Billy Joel at Madison Square Guard.I've suen Bill Joel a couple of other
times there. But yeah, he'slike the houseman there. That would be
incredible to go to. And alsothat is the most New York story that
(18:21):
was missing was pizza and Greece stainson my white T shirt? Yeah,
kwan, and yes, with youwear a lot of yes, I did
still do right next to my converse. That's amazing. We got a lot
(18:42):
of good answers coming into the textline as well, a couple of people
saying, Prince super jealous. Yeah, I wish Michael Jackson and Prince are
two of the three or four peopleof artists that I wish that I could
have seen. Obviously can't. Elviswould be another one, but but for
sure Michael Jackson and Prince would beright at the top of the list.
Yeah, we got Priens. Someoneso they saw a j R. U
(19:03):
two at the Joshua Tree Fish gracious. So every year Fish plays like ten
consecutive shows leading into New Year's Eveat Madison Square Garden. So they become
the house band in New York. And there's a lot of smoke emanating from
the doors there after this. Yeah, yeah, yes, yes. Also
(19:26):
someone said texted and said, youguys have spent the entire first segment talking
about your rich white people privilege.Brother, my brother, what the fan
has learned all these things is notlike the other. Let you figure it
out, my man. You gotyou got a concert that comes to mind

Rosenhaus You referred to him as themel kiper of the NHL Draft, which
starts this Friday. Yeah, so, Corey Promin works for the Athletic,
works in concert with Michael Russo andJoe Smith, who cover the Wild here
(20:30):
locally, but Corey has some nationaltakes and he'll have some insight not only
into what the Wild they're planning ondoing with their first round pick, but
also into their system as a whole. Yeah, super excited to talk to
Corey super excited to talk about theStanley Cup final with just all of a
sudden, legendary and historic. Wewere all just throwing flowers at the Oilers
grave last Sunday, and all ofa sudden, we got a game seven
(20:52):
tomorrow. We'll talk about that aroundthe corner. We're gonna debut a brand
news segment. Doesn't have a nameyet, so for right now, we're
calling it the love Line. RelationshipAdvice from the worst case scenario TEXTA sixty

two six if you got any ifyou got any relationship advice you are seeking
(21:15):
otherwise, you know, I pulleda couple things from the internet. We'll
respond to those. We're gonna talkStanley Cupp We're gonna talk NBA, We're
gonna talk a whole lot more. And of course we're gonna end the show
with our fan favorite segment like wealways do. How it works as the
three of us will present a topicand then we'll put it on Twitter and
put it into your hands and letyou vote on it at KFN one zero
(21:37):
zero three on Twitter, and thenwhatever you decide that's what we'll talk about
in the final segment. Brett BlakeMoore, what is your offering for the
fan favorite segment? This? Howlong have we been doing this show?
This is the twentieth episode of WorstCase Scenario, founding the very first ones,
like counting the ones me and youinsacted at the City Fair and all
that stuffy. I've put out alot of fan favorite and I've never broken
(22:00):
this role. Hundreds hundreds, I'veput out a lot of offerings for the
fan favorite segment. I've never brokenthis role until today. Copa America Preview
is my me and Robbie breakdown TeamUSA today. That is my suggestion because
that's what I want to talk about. So and if it doesn't get votes,
then we won't talk about it.But it's only the last five minutes
(22:21):
of the show anyways, So CopaAmerica Preview, Team USA, Wow,
USA USA? All right? Allright, Robbie Rosenhaus, what do you
want to talk about in the fanfavorite segment? Unless Haley Darling, do
you have anything for the fans?Something? I know? I tried to
think of something and I have threebrain cells. Yes, no, Well,
considering the the first presidential debate islater this week. I was going
(22:45):
to go with great sports debates,So, like your favorite debate in sports
has to like something that you woulddebate with a friend or maybe a co
host or somebody, and you thinkthat it's a big time debate, like
should Pete Roseby in the Hall ofFame something like that? Okay, and
a big time debate areth whether ornot he should be with the advent of
gambling and the infusion of it intoour culture. And basically he's he's kind
(23:07):
of paid his paid his time.So just sports sports debates, Okay,
sports debate, I can shay.I Mine was actually pretty similar to that.
It was a segment that I wasgonna call worst Take instead of first
Take, where we we kind ofartificially debate around things, uh in in
the sports world or outside of thesports world. So we'll just we'll combine
them into one. Will be twoofferings today, Sports debates, yeah,
(23:33):
exactly, or soccer talk, makingme America, the Euro's Copa America,
all types of stuff going on inthe soccer world, all types of stuff
going on in the hockey world,a little bit of puck talk, Game
seven Stanley Cup Final. We'll getinto it around the corner. This is
worst case scenario on the fan.Welcome back to worst case scenario, hanging
(24:19):
out with you until one pm ona Sunday, Max Fuller, Robbie Rosenhaw's,
Brett Blakemore and Hay Darling back inthe mix. They say it ain't
over until the Big Boned Lady singsin. About a week ago, when
the Florida Panthers were up three ripin the Stanley Cup Finals, she was
(24:40):
stepping up to the microphone getting readyto belt out and it's over, sirp
Butconor McDavid and the Oilers snatched themic like Kanye at the two thousand and
nine VMA's and said I'm gonna letyou finish. But and just like that,
after three dominant wins in a row, the Oilers have forced a game
seven for the first time since whatthe forties, nineteen forty one or something
(25:02):
like that. It's incredible. It'sgoing down for all the marbles in Sunrise,
Florida. Tomorrow night Puck Chop isaround seven PM, and as usual,
you can hear every bit of thathistoric game right here on the fan.
Sports fans love to say they're atenothing better than a game seven,
and this has got to be oneof the most improbable game sevens in not
only NHL history, but major Americanteam sports history, right, Robbie,
(25:26):
Yeah, it's if I can getmy mic on there. I think in
just recent times, it's got tobe right up there. I mean,
you go back to when and wementioned this last week about the improbability of
Lebron coming back from a three toone deficit against the Warriors just a few
years ago. But in hockey,I mean, the Blues winning Game seven
(25:49):
in Boston is still more shocking becauseof the way that Edmonton has kind of
played the last I mean, scoringseventeen twenty one goals coming out of the
gate red hot in the last fewgames, and Florida just completely looking listless.
I think that it would be moreof a shock. It was more
of a shock when the Blues beatthe Bruins back in twenty nineteen, rather
(26:11):
than if the Oilers do pull offthe four game comeback here, which would
be the first Cup for Canada sincenineteen ninety three and the first for the
Oilers since nineteen ninety and quite away for the best player in hockey to
stamp, his presence and just hisarrival, not only in Canada obviously everybody
(26:32):
knows about him in Canada, butjust doing it here now against the American
team and really showing why he isthe best that the NHL has to offer.
It's the difference between the first threegames in the last three games,
or just night and day. They'vebeen so much freaking fun to watch.
Brett Blakemore, you're an elite hockeyminds. What happened to the Panthers offensively?
Defense? Like? What's going on? Is it just Edmonton Oilers finally
(26:56):
like unleashed because they're that good andyou couldn't hold them down for that one
book? What's going on with thePanthers? Man? I do think that's
part of it, because McDavid isjust on another level, Like he might
be the most talented player just purelyspeed, skilled hands that this game has
ever seen. Now, if youwant to go greatness and rings and stuff,
he's got a long way to go, but just purely from a talent
(27:17):
level, he is unbelievably good.I remember hearing about McDavid when I was
in high school that oh, herehe comes, like this is the next
guy. So yeah, exactly,I remember hearing about him. To me,
it's it's more about not getting overwhelmedand not like And I was talking
with this with Barrero that when thePanthers, and this was brought up by
Trent Tucker yesterday, when the Panthersscore first, they usually play pretty well
(27:41):
and they usually can lock it down. But when the Oilers score first and
the Panthers have to chase the game, it opens up space and then that
speed you see it with McDavid, with dry Sidle, with all the talent
that they have. So that,to me is the key of this next
game on Monday, is figuring outwho can score first and there and they're
over eleven on their last eleven powerplay chances the Panthers, and they used
(28:02):
a lot of that in the firstfew rounds to kind of feel their success,
especially late in games to either comeback, tie or take the lead.
But where were Sam, Ryan Hartand ver Haegi and Barkoff to lift
the Panthers out of the rut?At barkoff second period goal was called back
for Ryan Harp being offside, andhe scored again for their only goal in
the third period, but Florida's captaincan't just carry the load alone. They
only had two shots on goal ateven strength through the first couple of periods,
(28:27):
which is just unacceptable. And theyreally just have to come out of
the gates. And I think thatthey have to start the game well.
They cannot, like Brett said, they can't play from behind for a fourth
straight game. It just can't happen. So they're a front running team.
They play really well from in frontbecause they have a really good structure and
(28:47):
they play a really hard, toughgame and when teams are trying to chase
it, like the Oilers, whoaren't as big and physical as the Panthers
are, they can't go in thosedirty areas fish the puck out to get
that grind game going. They playmore of a finesse game and that's what
they're able to do when the gameis either in their advantage or type.
And you know, the star ofthe show over the first three games was
(29:10):
was Sergey Bobrovski. I mean, everybody was just ranting and raving He's going
to win the MVP. You know, he was the immovable object. But
now we've met the irresistiblefore So andthe Oilers they've chased him out of the
game at least once, if nota couple of times. But nobody's really
talking about Stuart Skinner. Everybody wasobviously, you know, ripping on him
over the first three games. Whathas Stuart Skinner done differently over these last
(29:33):
three games to kind of help theOilers out defensively? Brett blakemore, Well,
it's him, and not to mentionthat there. I mean the save
that he made, there was onelate I can't remember. I think it
was up in Edmonton where it waslate, like he had to turn around
and basically just slash at it awayit was behind him. That's been the
Oilers problem for as long as Ican remember, is defense, and specifically
(29:59):
in net. And I remember,I think I brought this up last week
when they kept signing Mike Smith andme and Robbie and other elite hockey minds
like what are they doing? Thisguy stinks and McDavid can't do it all
by himself. But credit to Skinner. I mean, he's playing, he's
playing well enough. He's he's swimmingin there from time to time, but
he's making the saves. And Idon't think that it's all on Bob either.
(30:22):
I think he's kind of getting hungout to dry a lot of times
with all the speed that Edmonton has, especially when Florida's chasing the game,
and he has yet to win fourgames in a row this postseason. Last
time he did that was back inlate February early March, so he'll be
looking to do that for the firsttime this playoffs for the Oilers. But
the way he's been playing, Idon't see why Edmondson. I don't see
why you can't favor Edmonton in thisgame. Just the way the momentum is
(30:45):
going and everything's playing. I've donea complete one to eighty on this.
I see a dead team in thePanthers. I just think that they've been
completely sapped, and I think theoil is gonna pull it off. I
really don't. Dude's taking brats tothe Florida Panthers for winning the standley.
Okay, okay, thank you. This isn't an infomercial in nineteen ninety three.
I don't have a nine hundred numberone. I'm giving out picks.
(31:07):
I'm not too far. The moneyline is dead heat at minus one tenth.
Yeah, I figured I figured wouldbe a coin flip. Yeah,
yep, yep. Should the oilersgal get a ring of Edmonton wins?
I don't think yes, I don'tthink that she should get she should get
two rings. Yeah, yeah, she should absolutely since she did that right
and now an adult magazine has hiredher for a shoot. Yes, well
(31:29):
there you go. Happy for her, of course, Like I mean,
seriously, she's a phenomenon. I'mproud of her. You're doing amazing.
And if this is going to bea trend, you know, like I
support that. I think we shouldhave this shot at all sporting events,
you know. So we should justsay like one of those things during the
commercial branks, like put it onthe board a kiss care. So about
(31:55):
about fifteen years ago at New YorkJets games in New Jersey, at half
time, everybody would gather at thecircular ramps that people would have to walk
down, and people and girls, girls would flash and and all the fans,
all the guys would come out ofhalftime whatever, and for the eighteen
minutes they were out there, I'mtelling you you can look it up on
the internet, Jets fans flash andthe cops had to come in and kind
of put the composity I'm not sureI want to google that right now.
(32:19):
Well, no, not on thework computer. But what happened that?
Actually what in the middle of anNFL game, like at halftime, Like
that was a known thing for likea season or two at one particular tunnel.
And it wasn't just like a fewwomen, It was like a bunch
of like women and like it wasa real like animal house type scene.
That's insist talk about storytopers. Thatdoesn't sound fun to me. That wouldn't
(32:46):
be something that I would participate.I would I don't want to be Oiler's
girl, but that's beyond body positivity, like if you're comfortable doing that girl,
correct? Correct, No, theydidn't get beats either at the Jerry
(33:07):
Beads. Anyways, back to theStanley Cup Final, if the Oilers do
pull this off, Robby, youyou alluded to it. You thought that
the Blue Is winning against Boston inGame seven was a little bit more impressive.
But do you guys think this isthe the greatest comeback in American team
sports? I mean, they're done, they're threeh The Red Sox coming back
against the Agains that was a littlebit more personal, well, well not
(33:30):
just I don't particularly like the RedSox tea though, but I'd like them
more than the Yankees. But Ijust think that that series, I mean,
they were one out away there threeor four times they needed, Yeah,
they needed they needed the stolen baseDave Roberts stole second base and then
Ortiz got the hit. I'm notgonna go through the all play by tea.
Yeah, and then then in Gameseven while the Kurk chilling, bloody
(33:50):
sock in Game six and then Gameseven Johnny Damon Grand Slam and that was
that and they blew them out.But I just think that that was more
impressive because not only did they comeback from three nothing down, but they
ended up breaking the curse of theBambino and they won for the first time
in a million years. That isone of the best thirty for thirties.
There is the Four Days in Octoberreally good. Yeah. I grew up
(34:13):
a Yankees fan. I'm sorry, sorry, was my favorite player. I
grew up a Yankees fan. Iwas trying to be a contrarian wundero for
the Twins. I've come around,I've learned, I've learned my ways.
But that one that I haven't watchedthat one, yet it was a little
too personal for me, But you'rein Robbie's camp that the yeah stands out
(34:35):
to me, especially since oh god, they're big closer who I can't remember
as Robbie Marian rivera thank you.Uh. He was on the mound trying
to close the game out like threeor four times that series when the series
could have been dead and they justfound a way to keep basically manufacturing runs.
I love that documentary. Greatest comebackof all time. I mean,
(35:00):
yeah, there's the Blues game seven, there's three to one in the twenty
sixteen NBA Finals obviously, if they'renot talking series, and we talked about
this on Sermons, the Falcons twentyeight three, Yeah, I mean,
yeah, right, but that's ina single games. Yeah, it's a
little different. But as for theseries, yeah, I think that the
Red Sox, the Red Sox Yankeesone, I would say would would definitely
(35:23):
top top it there. The onlythe only caveat to that would be that's
the Alcs and that this is thisis like, yes, everything is a
lie, and it's Florida's first potentialfranchise Stanley Cup ever, so who knows,
but what a crazy week for theNHL. I mean, the draft
is this Friday and Saturday. Ithink a free agency period begins on July
(35:43):
first. All the fame announcements ofthis week. Yeah, what a crazy
week for the NHL. And justa series that just looked like an absolute
stinker and now we're going into alegendary game seven tomorrow night. Well,
the Oilers snapped that thirty one yearcupless streak for Canada over the Panthers secure
their first Stanley Cup, enfranchise historyEmert Bank Arena since twenty k but millions
(36:07):
will be in attendance all across theglobe hoping to see a hell of a
matchup that will be historic no matterthe outcome. Like I said earlier in
the show, you can listen tothat whole thing right here on FM one
hundred point three k FA and comingup next to deb you have a brand
new segment, the love Line orwhatever we gotta call it as of yet
to be named. If you've gotany relationship advice that you're seeking, worst
(36:30):
case scenario is your place six foursix eight six text us call us eight
hundred three two zero five three twosix. We'll be back right after this
(37:05):
welcome back to WSCS. Here onKfan, hanging out with you until one
pm, talking to Corey prin Menof the Athletic Right around the corner.
Robbie has dubbed him d mel Kiperof the NHL Draft, So we'll see
his thoughts on the Wild in theirfirst round picks when the NHL Draft goes
(37:27):
down on Friday. But for rightnow, we are debuting a brand new
segment. We are lovers more thanwe are fighters here at worst case scenario.
I mean, look, they don'tcall me Fromeo for no reason.
They don't call Brett the Cornfield Castanobut for no reason. Correct, they
don't call Haley Heartbreak Haley for noreason. They don't call Robbie I really
really like being in a relationship Robbiefor no reason. So earlier in the
(37:52):
week, when one of our lovelylisteners suggested that we do a relationship advice
segment, it was like getting shotthrough the heart by Cupid himself and we
were instantly in love with the idea. So today is the debut of a
brand new segment that for now we'recalling the Love Line, where we're definitely
open to suggestions it's not like it'snot pithy enough, you know, wrote
(38:13):
in pencil, Yeah, exactly,we wrote it in pencil, not in
pen I wish we one were listeningto Lovers and Friends by Yeah, yeah,
speaking of timeless songs, and thenmaybe we call it lovers and friends.
Oh, lovers and friends. Yeah, okay, okay, all right,
well you got the listeners. Ifyou don't have relationship advice, at
(38:34):
least help us out with the nameof the segment, love line, lovers
and Friends. We'll take your talks, textbacks, whatever, et cetera,
et cetera. If you're seeking somerelationship advice or just I guess advice in
general doesn't have to be related. It doesn't even have to be romantic.
It could be your friendship. Whateveradvice that you need, we are here
to provide it for you. Igot a couple that I pulled from various
forums around the internet, but wehave a couple of texters that actually asked
(38:58):
us some advice. Guys, andI don't know, I don't know if
this is serious, but someone textedin and said, my wife and my
dad have been spending a lot oftime alone lately. Should I be worried.
It's usually lunch dates and movies, very harmless stuff. But I don't
know, it makes me feel uncomfortable. What should I do? I don't
(39:19):
know how. Okay, I shouldbe a disclaimer. I should not be
giving relationship. Yeah, I shouldstart to segment with one of those like
terms and conditions not responsible. Theviews that Hayley Dolling expresses, not the
views of the caffe. First ofall, I'm a relationship nightmare, a
(39:43):
total moron in every in every relationshipI've ever been. I don't know how
you bring that up to your wifethat you're uncomfortable in that situation, because
you look ridiculous. If she's like, what are you talking about? Like
this is weird? What if itmakes you uncomfortable? You don't want to
sit in that? I think youhave to say something. Yeah, I
(40:05):
want to know ag Yeah seven sixtythree guy, if you if you got
the ages, please text us that. But I think that's something you more
have to bring up with your popsand be like yeah, I think you
have to on that side of it. Yeah, it's like it's just like
what's going on? It's going on? Dad, Like, well, what
movies are y'all watching. Yeah, that's my thing, is like the lunch
dates, Like I could find away to look past that, but going
(40:27):
to the movies together. On tothe movies, Yeah, but that's that's
like a that's more of a date. It is weird, just like I
don't know, like none of usare married, but like, would you
think it is? Would you goout to lunch with just your significant others
dad or I mean mom, Ilisten, I'm a dog. Yeah,
(40:51):
we could go. We could goto the movies. You know what I'm
saying. I mean, I've nevermet a dilf I didn't like, but
okay, I I mean I havedone stuff with significant others moms in the
past, but I don't think Iwould go do something with their dad.
That would be weird. That's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's
(41:12):
weird. It's weird. It doesn'tnecessarily mean anything Shandy's going on, but
it's still it's still a little strange. It's worth bringing up. Right.
It also depends on what kind oflunch it is. I mean, if
you're going for let's say, youknow, a quick meal, or you're
going to mannies, it's different.Right, Yeah, I mean wined and
dined? Right? Are you gettingAre you getting the fat for foe Wendy?
(41:35):
Right? Yeah, exactly are yougetting wined and died? Yeah?
Am I getting the two? It'sonly on the tobacco numbers two for five
roast beef and Arby's. We're sharingyour curly fry or you're getting your own
now your Arby's. Get the potatocakes back on the menu and I will
return. Yeah. I just bottomline is is weird? Right? It's
(41:57):
worth bringing up. I think youdon't have to necessarily frame it as like
infidelity. But we've all seen enoughMaury to know that, yeah, that
strange can happen. The strange canabsolutely happen when it's stranger. Could be
Springer And we got another text withthe text and my girlfriend snores so bad,
I have a hard time sleeping over. Say something or just deal with
(42:20):
it. You got to say something. I have been in situations like this
where a significant other has snored andit I couldn't sleep. I was so
crabby all the time, and itis brutal if you can't if you can't
sleep with your significant other. Ilike women sleep over at my house because
(42:42):
because do you send them home withan autograph? The lift driver will be
here in five minutes. But justknow for that reason, because of like
the snoring, it's it's a bigdeal. Sleep is important, man,
(43:06):
especially if you got work, andeven if you don't like you don't want
to say you don't want to startyour day by just like tossing and turning
in bed hearing someone's it's the worst. Kyle, how would if it were
you, if you were the girlin the story, how would you want
it to be said to you?Like, oh, how can you question?
Good question? The button man?Good question. I would want my
(43:31):
boyfriend to say, Babe, Ilove being with you. I want to
be able to sleep over with havea sleepover with you. I'm really struggling
with not being able to sleep becauseyou do snore. Can we figure out
a solution? You have to Youhave to like compliment sandwich it and be
like, I love being with you, I want to be here. Let's
(43:53):
make this work. This And thenyou got to be like this sucks,
I can't sleep, And then youhave to say, let's find a solution
for both of us that works. You got to be in it together,
right, You can't just be likestop snoring or get out. You gotta
figure it. You gotta work together. You'll find a joint solution. See
(44:14):
you later. Don't just give themthe old nose pins. Yeah, sleep
car right, even if it means, you know, getting separate, sleeping
whatever, nothing wrong with that's sleepingseparately. You got to do what works
for you as a couple, onehundred percent, don't. You don't have
to fall societal normally. I knowpeople that sleep in different rooms totally different
(44:37):
different beds, just have like becausethey're on different schedules, so they have
to adjust to that. Like, you don't want to be when you're going
to sleep at six, seven, eight o'clock at night and your significant others
going to sleep as a night owland doesn't have to work the next day
or is up with the kids orwhatever. Like you want to be able
to be in a room where youhave the ability to turn on the TV
or read or whatever or listen dostuff. Yeah, do stuff without your
(45:02):
right. It's okay to have separatelives, Like, have your own individuality.
That's a secret of success. Lookat us, right, a couple
of relations doctor, and again allof us are completely inept right, just
so we're clear. Yeah, takeit with the greatest every every sense we
(45:23):
say has an asterisk above it.Take it with the grain of salt.
Max and river falls head of dad'sdoing that. He's catching some hands.
Okay, Max is ready to throwhands. Max ready to throw hands.
Wow, would have never thought thatto be the case. Another text of
texting and said, my best friendand his dad were both married to the
same woman. I'm sorry, whatthat's a more springs one hundred percent.
(45:45):
I've seen that episode many a time. Yeah, yeah, that's a there's
not really advice to know, andthat's kind of like, I'm just curious
more about the details of the story. Who was married to first and how
to that hap? Like, canyou imagine having either your dad sloppy seconds
or your kids? It's the it'sthe step mom situation in real life,
(46:09):
except a lot more where they getmarried. Where they get married Instral Cathedral.
She didn't have to change your knees, I got so you can still
have the same room in the house. Yeah, your initials don't change.
The garage door combination already your thoughtson this, right, You're you're the
(46:34):
one that's in one of these situations. We got a couple more, but
we'll get to them another time.Thank you for all the listeners that texted
with their situations called in whatever.Well, we'll take some more. We'll
analyze some more of these situations inthe future. Someone said this could be
called fromance. I don't want tomake it all about me, though fromance
is a good thing. I'll usethat for one of my intros. Well.
Well, the as of yet tobe named love segment will return and
(46:59):
we will be right back around thecorner with Corey Purhanman of the Athletic to
break down the NFL Draft second hourworst case scenario. Coming out to live
at local after this, Welcome backto the worst case scenario here on Kfan
(47:35):
Haley, Darling, Brett, BlakeMoore, Max Fuller, myself, Robbie
rosenhaus In, and it's my pleasureto welcome in our next guest. He
is the senior NHL prospects writer forthe Athletic and he's been doing this for
a very long time. Was justdown in South Florida at the Dan Milstein
camp examining all the Russian prospects asthey came over here as they trained separate
(47:55):
from the combine and we'll get histhoughts on the draft and the wild prospects
as a whole. Corey, welcomein. How are you well? Thank
you for having me, Thanks somuch for joining us. Give Russo and
Joe a little bit of a breakhere. So first I want to open
up with kind of an overarching thoughton the wild system and just kind of
(48:16):
where you see them and a coupleof the players that kind of stick out
for you. Sure, I thinkobviously, I think Daniela Yurov had a
tremendous year for them last year, two years out from being a first round
pick, late first round pick,he was one of the very best players
for Magnina Gors because they went onto win the KHL. So I think
(48:37):
his development has looked promising. There'sa reason why many people thought he could
have been a top ten, topfifteen pick on draft day, projected the
top six foward in the NHL.I think he looked on track to become
that. I think you're really happywith him, and then I think you're
really happy with yes bro Walt steptwo did a very nice goaltender at the
pro level in Sweden and now inthe American League for two years. I
(48:58):
think he is tracking to become alegitimate starting goal in the NHL. Now
it's a tandem guy, but aguy who could potentially carry the load,
super smart goaltender, and I thinkthose two are are trending really well.
But I think, you know, obviously there was maybe some negatives that for
the watch system this year. Idon't think Carson Lambots in Iowa had a
huge year. I don't think CharlieStrambo Wisconsin especially had a great year.
(49:21):
H So you know there's some good, some bad. Maybe there are other
first round pick Liam Ogred kind ofholding steady looks like a potential really hard
working middle six wing one day.So I think the wild system I think
is good. I don't think it'sincredible. I think that's kind of it's
very similar to the state of theteam, where it's a good team,
it's not an elite team, it'snot a bad team, and it's it's
(49:43):
basically like with with the group ofassets they have right now, both on
the NHL team and then the farmsystem. I think the question is how
do you take this group of playersa good group of players, but ultimately
turned it into a contender. Hey, Corey Brett, here, I The
one I want to talk about youtouched on is Evs. That is I
mean, he's not approaching Caprice offlevel hypes, but he's certainly getting there.
(50:05):
And it helps that we can't reallysee him as far as the hype
goes, because we really don't knowwhat we have for someone who's never watched,
just knows that he's good, knowshis stats, but I've never actually
seen him play. Can you describekind of Eurov's style of play? His
skill level is really high. Hewas one of the best one v one
puck handlers in his draft year. You know, tremendous skill, you know,
(50:29):
bigger than kaff Resolv, but youknow, he's a good skaters.
What you really liked about him isabout this year is that not only was
he showing a lot of success versusmen, but he was showing success versus
men while playing the center position, which wasn't always something that I thought he
was going to do at the KHLlevel. So he did that because he
is smart. He competes well enough. I don't think he's gonna run guys
(50:50):
over, but he's an honest player. He wins battles, he has good
details, he gets to the net. He's a very likable player. Is
he like the most is exceptionally dying, avid player who can make some of
the spectacular plays that Kreel can make. I'm not sure I would go that
far to project that degree of offensein the NHL just quite yet, but
I think he is trending really well. You know, I could see a
(51:12):
world where he becoming a legitimate settop six four in the NHL and give
it He's play in the middle.I definitely see a path where you could
talk about a potential second line center, even shifting over from their current system
to now the NHL draft, Andthat's really why we brought you on here.
We sit five days out, everybodywill be gathering in Las Vegas.
Corey will be there along with MichaelRusso and Joe Smith from the Athletic,
(51:36):
covering the Wild base to base andat the sphere and looking at before we
get into who you think potentially couldbe in play for the Wild with their
pick, just give me a generalconsensus of the top of the draft,
especially now you've seen Ivan Demidov downin in Florida workout at the Millstein camp.
(51:57):
We all know Macklin Celebrine is goingto go one. But like I
said, before we get into thewild there, how do you see the
next few picks kind of shaking outand give us some of your your top
prospects there right. I think lastyear's draft, the twenty twenty three draft
was a really really exciting top ofthe draft. Connor Bdard the special prospects,
But I think then the second andthird picks in Leo, Carlson and
(52:19):
Fantilly were players that a lot ofscouts thought could be legitimate first overall picks
in any other draft year. Theywere really special prospects as well. I
don't think in this year's draft,while Celebrini is a special prospect, I
don't think the next player will riseto that level where they would go ahead
of Thantilli or Carlson. I don'tsee I don't see that other special prospects
(52:40):
in this year's draft. But there'sa lot of really, really good players
in this draft. I think mostteams would tell you they have ten to
twelve players ranked really highly, andguys that would go well ahead of the
players that they would have had maybesix, seven or eight in last year's
draft, the quality in terms ofthe depth at the very top is very
(53:00):
strong. So in terms and becauseof that, and because there's no consensus
who the top couple of names afterSELBRENI I think whoever you get at a
given pick, I think the Luckersare gonna get their favorite prospect here,
their third, fourth, fifth rankprospect. Right now, the favorites to
go to are either already left shootOff, the big defensive from Michigan stage,
or the skall winger Ivan Demidov. But there are plenty of teams that
(53:21):
like different players at the second orthird spot too. I think those are
just the leading kids in terms ofwhere Chicago's leads are right now. As
of right now, the Wild arepicking thirteenth. I say as of right
now because Russo as speculator that they'reprobably going to trade down. But names
right now on Tankathon the or whothey have going to the Wild Carter Yakham
(53:43):
Chuck who I know nothing about adefenseman out of the WHL. But another
name I heard for the while tobe Cole Eiserman. Do you think that
either those are are feasible at thirteenor do you think the Wild are even
there at all. Yeah, Ithink Yakamchuck's probably going before thirteen, and
I don't think Eijamin is going athigh quite frankly, I think the names
are probably talking about. I thinkthose smaller centers like Berkeley, Caden const
(54:06):
the Hallavias are probably around ten tofifteen. I think the big defenseman for
Norway Stean Soldberg and Adam Years checkthe other big defensive of the check you
are going around that range of thedraft. And I also think Zane parik
Is I think has a chance toget into the teams. I think he's
projected higher right now, but justtalk to people around the league. I
think he's a guy people expected morego into the teams because there's some defensive
(54:29):
concerns, even though he's a dynamicoffensive player. I think yack of seconds.
I just think those two players Ikind of see going on. I
don't know if I see him quiteat the thirteen spot of this year's draft.
We're talking with Corey Prohmin from theAthletic Senior NHL Prospects writer and also
will be at the Draft in Vegaslater this week. This will be the
last draft that fans can actually attend. So if you can get a cheap
(54:51):
flight out there, head on outthere and see who the while pick at
pick thirteen. Corey, in yourlatest article you had kind of each need
for for every team, and forthe Wild you put defenseman and said that
there's not a top four defenseman inthe system. Obviously that excludes brock Faber
and his graduation into a really, really good player. Now, when you
(55:14):
look at the top of the draftand you mentioned some of the forwards there
with celebrating and demodof, we knowthat in that next kind of group there
of ten to twelve players, there'sa lot of defensemen. With Zev Billiam
who people here in the state knowfrom he was on the Denver team that
was in the Frozen Four and justan elite season in college. And then
(55:36):
you have Zane Perrek, who's anotheroffensive defenseman. They're crying out I think
for that year. Do you seeeither one of those guys, potentially Prrect
falling to the thirteenth pick and potentiallythe Wild scooping him up. I think
Pa chance, Boym. I wouldsay almost no chance he's going to be
there at thirteen. He was justtoo good this year in college one of
(55:57):
the best Jeff Delvils I ever seenin college hawk he quite frankly, so
I think he's long gone by thirteen. But it's just Parack could definitely be
there. And like I said,I think if they're the Solberg and Yorkchick
are more of the two way defensetypes, but I think they can be
in play around there. But Ithink the why I would definitely prefer Parik
as much as Brock's favor looked awesomethis year in the NHL, and it's
(56:17):
gonna be deserving a big payday. You know, Parak is more of a
true first power play type of guy. I think Favor ideally, he's more
of a second powerplay type of guya long term and I think Parak can
fill that really unique role of apotential sixty seventy point defenseman. Hey,
Corey, appreciate you joining us.Max s Fuller here. I was just
curious, outside of the first round, who's an underrated, underrated player in
(56:39):
the later rounds that you think couldmaybe have an instant impact on the wild
Well, instant impact might be it'shard to say they're going in the later
rounds. It's usually for a reason. There's some older players like over at
Russia that you can see like that, there's like a twenty one year old
goal elli in the back up whowith the cage l m v p H
(57:01):
playoff in the MVP. Sorry,so I could see him be fast checked
a little bit, but just beingcorforably honest. Guys who are going that
lake typically are not playing for along time. There's a There's a couple
more prospects for the while that Iwanted to ask about. They both have
the same last name, but they'respelled differently. Riley Height and Hunter Heights.
What do we what do we knowabout them right now? In the
(57:22):
HL? Different style players for sure. Riley Heights just one of the leading
scores and all the CHL super skilled, super intelligent, can run a power
play like a pro. You know, has has the kind of touch and
vision to to be a flank guyin the NHL and on the power play.
I think the questions on Riley hasnever been at the offense and the
(57:43):
skill. I think the question ishow much of the game translated. He's
not that big. I think hecompetes fine, but he's not a super
physical player. I don't think youneed to lead skating small guy either.
So while he just absolutely dominated juniorhockey last year and I expect he will
do so again next year and bea big part of ken as worlding your
team, you know, I thinkthere are some questions on how that game
is going to translate to the pros. Obviously, if he can make it,
(58:06):
then you have an asset who canscore and helps your power play.
But the skating, I think we'llget picked apart by some scouts and coaches
until he proves it in the NHLand then one hundred hyps kind of the
opposite. He has skill at offense, but I think his game is more
speed and energy and it's a verydirect style of game. He's not the
biggest also, but I think heis a likable player. And then that
gets the question that just can heprovide secondary scoring as a pro. That's
(58:30):
Corey Promman from the Athletic Senior NHLProspects writer. Corey, thank you so
much today for your thoughts on theWild, the draft and their system and
the draft as a whole. Thankyou so much for joining us, and
have a great timeout in the onehundred degree heat that is Las Vegas.
Although I heard it's a dry Iheard it's a dry heat. Corey,
thank you, all right, thanksso much. That's Corey Prohman from The
(58:51):
Athletic Brett. I think I thinkhe broke it down pretty well there and
kind of targeted defenseman there at picknumber thirteen. All the so you think
you think Isiamin's in play, andhe thinks that Eisaman can fall lower than
that. Again, I love theoptimism that the Wild are going to stay
at thirteen, maybe move up,maybe trade Gus and move up. But
(59:13):
I do trust Russo and Russo's spidysense of saying that they're trading down.
So I don't know if it's ifdraft night is going to be exciting.
That's the boring answer. But Ithink the earlier we get around here's the
thing. The earlier we can justaccept that they might trade down, the
less disappointed we're going to be ondrafted it. Well, just accept it
now, and then we can moveon. If you get assets and you
(59:35):
trade down and you get something thatyou like draft capital, perhaps listen,
the Wild traded a fiala for favor, and how did that work out?
So everybody loves that? All right? I think it worked out just okay
for the midst a while. It'llcertainly be interesting to see this a Friday,
who the Wild select with their firstround pick, their thirteenth overall,
Let's hope it's lucky thirteen. Ihope it's a lucky thirteen. That a
(59:58):
draft is a going down Friday andsad today. Robbie Rosenhouse will be in
the house for the NHL Draft.Maybe he can give us a report when
he comes back from down to Vegas. This draft lottery has twelve teams.
The Wild picked thirteen. That's correct. I love that. Unfortunately they did
not participate. Hopefully they can geta steal in the NHL Draft. Either
(01:00:21):
way, we will be tuned inwaiting to see what moves that they make
around the corner. We're gonna doa little bit of a mixed bags segment,
a little bit of this, alittle bit of that, emphasis on
the lat copyright, the common Mancoming up next on worst case scenario.
(01:00:52):
Welcome back to worst case scenario. We haven't been pulled off the air yet,
so we're gonna do our best BaileyOver impression and go the distance all
the way to one oh clock.By the way, we got a brand
new channel on the on the freeWait are you telling me and I can
(01:01:16):
listen to this garbage for free? It's garbage time to be a place.
I know, too young to seePicasso paint just old enough. On the
iHeart not just anywhere, it's thefree radio app that is incredible every time
(01:01:37):
podcast exactly, Thank you iHeartRadio.Yes, we love when you use the
iHeartRadio app. Negatrometers for that.Yes, we still got a bunch of
texts and emails coming in about bestconcert. Someone said, up and Smoke
tour with Doctor Dre and Juice David. But we had David on Twitter said
(01:02:05):
the Lady Gaga Show. Now,I'd imagine when she was in her prime
that would have been nice. Okay, First of all, Lady Gaga is
still in her prime. Yeah,at the peak of her peah. Okay,
so that brings me. I cameup with a name for our advice
segment. Oh, the Lady Gagais a perfect segue. Bad romance radio.
Bad romance Okay, Yeah, howdo we feel about that? I
(01:02:30):
like bad romance radio because obviously we'reall not capable here we are. I
like that romance radio. We stillwe still got related. We got plenty
of relationship advice to do the segmentagain in the future. It was a
lot of fun. We're gonna doa little bit of a sports Morgas board,
(01:02:51):
a mixed bag, a little bitof this, a little bit of
that. Me and Brett Blakemore talkedabout it a little bit on Nine to
Noon the other day. Bred actuallycouldn't stop talking about it. Favorite.
That's his favorite thing to talk about. Bronnie James. Yes, he's an
elite Bronnie James. Mind, Ibelieve in Bronnie James. Say his name
and he appears. Reports were indicatedearlier in the week from from his agent
(01:03:15):
himself, Fridge Paul NBA Superstar AgentExtraordinary is the agent of the bron James,
Brownie James, and many many otherfamous names, and he came out
and said that the Wolves quote unquoteloved Brownie James. He went on to
say, like, oh, wedon't know their ownership situations, but the
CD is a little lukewarm on BronnieJames joining the Wolves. I know it's
(01:03:37):
come up just briefly in the past, but if I remember correctly, Robbie
and Haley, both of you guyswere out on the Brownie James idea for
that. Yeah, and it's toomuch of a circus. Yeah, And
as someone who has very much benefitedfrom nepotism, I exactly, I'm very
much benefited from nepotism, but I'mI'm obviously not opposed to it. But
(01:04:01):
he's not that good like why whynow? If you do look at the
history of like sons of famous players, I mean there are some pretty good
ones. I mean ronson Charlie Woodsistalk about the NBA of course, Michael
(01:04:24):
Thompson and Klay Thompson, but Uboniswith our Vitas Sabonis and maybe and maybe
Ron and yeah, maybe Brownie.Uh could be another one in that line
of of players. I just don'tsee it happening here, Max. I
just can't see it. I could, I could see them doing it.
I mean, if he's if heis going to follow the trajectory that he
(01:04:44):
himself said that he wants to havea Derek White like career. We just
watched We've watched the Celtics for threeor four years, and that Derek White
is they don't criminally underrated, wasunderrated as a spur was traded to the
Celtics. The Celtics fans, we'reall over social media and criticize that Derek
and he's one of the most essentialpieces of that team. You know,
they don't be They don't have thenumber one record in the East without without
(01:05:06):
Derek White. They don't win theNBA Finals without Derek White. And Brownie
James said that's kind of his careermodels to be someone like Derek White.
If he could be that, okay, and I want to be I want
to be the next Dan Barrill. It's good to put that on your vision
board. It is sometimes you needto know. I mean, seriously,
(01:05:30):
are you right for this spin zonethough? Because because of the Rudy trade
with the Wolves getting a pick everyother year in the first round, why
not get two picks for the priceof one, because you're gonna get Lebron
Like you guys ever seeing Willy Wonka, I've got an old Grandpa Joe gets
out of the bed. Grandpa Joe'sbomb as the ticket comes round. So
(01:06:01):
then we need to go down.A segment one day was with with some
sort of movie plot lines that thatwe got b out random random character,
fictional characters that you just hate he'sa bum, couldn't provide first family.
But all of a sudden, he'sclicking his heels together. Go to the
chocolate factory. Yeah, I'm I'mfamiliar with your game, Grandpa Joe.
Too much fuzzy drinking. Just geta job, Get a job. He's
(01:06:26):
not even moving this bed in twentyyears. Boy, that's the life.
Yeah, you should have been. You should have been laying bed on indeed
dot com Grandpa Joe. But that'sthat's neither here nor there. But like
Brett said, why not take achance. I mean, oftentimes we always
lament the fact that there's not alwayslike difference makers in the second round of
the NBA. He's not gonna goin the first round. We I would
preferably the Timberlans would select a pointguard that could possibly be the heir apparent
(01:06:49):
of Mike Conley Minnesota Mic. Butwhy not if Lebron James can't come here?
What a great story that would beIf you're Lebron James. It's the
perfect ending to his future, havingpart thirty for thirty, passing the torch
to the new face of the NBA, Anthony Edwards, and leading the Timberwolves
to their first ever franchise title.I mean, come on, this is
(01:07:12):
this is movie stuff. I cansee Michael b Jordan in the Lebron Timberwolves
jersey on the big screen someday afterthis happens. I mean, this is
this is Oscar worthy stuff. Guys. You know I'm Michael b Jordan's and
Michael Jordan both have a better chance. I'm just saying, I'm just saying
(01:07:34):
it could happen. No, I'mwith it. I'm totally with I'm not
here for it. I don't wantthe circus. No, stay off my
basketball team. Stay. Yeah, exactly, we don't need Lebron James to
Toronto. I'm we're doing this withoutLebron. I don't need Lebron to because
then he'll come in and everyone belike, the couldn't do without Lebron.
(01:07:57):
He had to come here. It'sthat's one reason one. You know what
I mean, if it ends ina ring, I don't care what they
say. That's not necessarily that istrue to an extent, But I don't
want there to be an asterisk onit. You're saying people saying we only
won because of Lebron when we gotto the Western Conference Finals, I mean,
we smoked, but that's neither herenor there. I'm not I don't
(01:08:17):
want to wave the asterisks flag atthe parade. Listen. Brett Hard was
the quarterback of the Vikings. Ifyou could root for him in Purple,
you could root for anybody. Ijust don't. I didn't, but yeah,
that's because that's because you root forthe Green right. Oh, actually,
Brett, I thought of you theother night when I was leaving the
Morgan Wall in concert because a bunchof people broke out in a go pack
(01:08:42):
goal you chant? I know,I was like, get out of my
stadium. You. Yeah, itwas horrific. We should have seen it
when we actually played in the No, I have seen it. It's brutal.
But no, I'm like, whatare you doing? Go back to
Lambeau. There's few things worse thanhere in a rival team's chance. And
I remember when the Bucks were intown and they're not even like rivals of
(01:09:03):
the Timberwls like that, but herepeople just like chant for the Bucks.
It's like Target Center. What arewe doing here? I staid, Iowa
fans walked out with the goalposts. When I was here in college. Nothing
was nothing was ever as bad asthose Iowa fans walking out heading to the
Rose Bowl with my goalposts out ofthe Metrodome. Very sad sight to see.
(01:09:24):
That was awful. Yeah, that'sheartbreaking. Goes off guards. You
remembers if you're out there listening toguards to you remember that's hard. But
you gotta tell you that's that couldbe a story for the next Romance radio
heartbreak. That's true heartbreak. Yes, over to the world of the sweet
science. Ryan Garcia has been bannedfrom boxing for one whole year as a
(01:09:46):
part of a settlement agreement with theNew York Boxing Commission after he tested positive
for performance enhancing drugs not once, but twice and then tried to blame it
on the company. He's like,oh, the company had a bad batch.
The company themselves actually came out witha report that said, no,
we didn't. You did. Youdid steroids, you did peds, And
(01:10:08):
I get it. It's different thingsfor different sports. If you're in combat
sports and you're doing performance and dancingdrugs, it should be a lifetime banda
Who is John Jones right exactly?People are so stupid that they think they
can get away with that. That'swhat I don't understand. Why would you
even risk it, right, Idon't. I don't understand. And it's
you're not hitting a baseball, youknow, Like I get people being mad
(01:10:29):
about Barry Bonds and all that stuff, which I mean, that's a whole
different stories of Hall of Fame oreven without the steroids, but it's a
whole different thing. But you're hittinga baseball, You're not punching somebody in
the face. Of course, ifyou're taking performance enhancing drugs and you're in
a combat sport, you could killsomeone. I'm I've literally seen people,
I mean on TV essentially die rightbefore my eyes watching boxing. There was
a guy when we when they hadit over at the Armory, he got
(01:10:51):
knocked out and he was in acoma for weeks. You know, Yeah,
like it's it's it's it's terrifying tosee. It's a dangerous enough sport
as it is if you're taking performanceand ancing drugs. And I get it.
Ryan Garcia's he's a huge star.He and it was it was a
big time knockout, the upset ofthe year, of the knockout of the
year against a formerly undefeated Devin Haneywho now again is undefeated, yet his
(01:11:13):
undefeated record restore because of that. But you're it doesn't matter how big of
a star you are. And alsoif you're if you're someone like Ryan Garcia,
and if this is the exact situation, he just got paid a bleap
ton of money. He's gonna takea year off and he'll come right back.
That's not really disincentivizing people to takesteroids. He's getting a paid vacation,
right. It's like he just mademillions and millions of dollars, and
(01:11:35):
it's like he's gonna go travel theworld. He's probably gonna go do some
YouTube boxing, and then he'll comeright back and he'll be just as big
as he was before. To thatpoint, he's already reached out to potentially
Sean O'Malley to fight in UFC potentiallyin the next year, which it makes
no sense. And if you lookat Haney and his father's comments after what
happened, I mean, they're absolutelyright in what they said to be critical
(01:11:57):
of what Garcia said. You're right, it's dangerous to get in there,
not like you're hitting a baseball, you're hitting somebody in the face. You're
one hundred right, Yeah, it'snot it's it's it should be a lifetime
ban. They gotta eventually, theygot to send a message, they got
to set an example. It shouldbe an absolute lifetime ban. I don't
want anything. I could not feelmore opposite of how I feel about steroids
and baseball than is great. Sowe've had so many things in boxing,
(01:12:23):
from the bitten ear to galata withthe multiple low blows that stop fights,
and none of that got those guysreally you know for sure, you know,
and and this is this is different. I get it. Like boxing,
there's not a whole lot of pearlclutching going. It's one of the
most it's one of the most dirtysports that's ever existed America, an American
(01:12:44):
soil. But this is something thatit's it's unacceptable and you're never gonna obviously
the sport is never gonna reclaim itspast glory, but you're never gonna regain
any of that shine by having guyslike Rian Garcia at the forefront. It
just it just annoys me because he'sso talented, right exactly. It just
even this is a super successful fight, A bunch of people watched it,
it went viral. Everybody's talking aboutit and one step forward a million steps
(01:13:08):
back, and that's just kind ofthe classic tale of boxing. Yeah,
in the in the modern era.Unfortunately, Brett Blake Moore, you've been
waiting the whole show to talk aboutit. W W. Yes, several
big time debuts this week. Whichone do you want to start with?
Because you're gonna I'm gonna play oneof them. He's very excited. He's
so excited. Go ahead, goahead, I know which one you want
(01:13:30):
to start? Go ahead? Hisname, man, he appears, I
believe in Joe Hendry. Yeahble wW E A huge, a huge week
in the world of wrestling. TheWyatt Six debuted, which is a new
group from the recently passed Bray Wyatt, who was I mean cult sensation in
(01:13:54):
every sense, in the literal senseof call to in his character absolute WW
legend. He kind of played likea whole type character if you used to
watch back in the day. It'ssimilar to a Cane or an Undertaker or
someone like that, kind of likea horror type character. Yeah, spooky
gut, a darker, a supernaturalkind of guy. He unfortunately passed and
now unrelated to what I just played, Yeah, that's that's not related to
(01:14:16):
it, but his group that kindof stemmed from his his actions. They
debuted in WW earlier in the week. Joe Hendry, one of the most
popular wrestlers in the wrestling world. This whole gimmick is basically just making up
like goofy songs, doing remixes ofsongs and stuff. He did a remix
to one of Creed you know Creedcan You Take Me Higher? And renamed
it to can You Please Get Fired? Talking about a guy who's dangerous in
(01:14:40):
the wrestling world. And then yougot yet another Samoan Jacob Fatu debuting and
Brett Blake Moore. You're you're ampedup about all of this? Yeah,
I am. I think that theWyatt Six even though there's five of them,
but it's spelled s I c KS. And not to mention the
fact that they're also about to attackPat McAfee on his own show two days
(01:15:00):
in a row, they've like cutoff his broadcast. Basically, I think
it's brilliant. I like, andthey've also said they're not doing like supernatural
stuff, like it's more of justlike these guys are just lunatics, like
they are, They're just wild andcrazy, not like they have special powers
right like the the Underta today thanit was back in the day. So
(01:15:21):
I love that. I thought itwas great. I love the teases I
was in from the beginning, andit looked like, well, we'll see
him tomorrow night probably, But itlooked like a movie that they shot for
that debut. I mean just thecinematography. They did have one shot throughout
the entire backstage where they they hadsparks flying and people looked like they were
dead. It was it was awesome. The Joe Henry one, I just
(01:15:43):
can't get that song out of myhead. I've been singing it all week
long. He's the best, he'she's and in the ring he's all right,
he's pretty good. And that's thebeauty of WW. Other companies they
focus a lot on the n ring, but w W has the care.
Care is the personality. Yeah, well that's why they said that Elias out
there for a week after week. He's but again they kept thinking that he
(01:16:08):
was something because he had a guitar. Yeah, exactly, It's just a
bit. Joe Henny will go downas the greatest musical wrestler of all time.
Oh well, if you talked therock concerts. He's not there,
He's not a music were legit, but you don't think if the rock is
a musical wrestler. It's not.But you don't think of seen as a
(01:16:30):
musical wrestle either. But his rapsare that seking of burning CDs from the
library. I used to have theJohn Cena c D bro A lot of
times raps are not allowed to asyou go back and watch some of those
clips and not very un John Cenaraps yea. His whole gimmick when he
(01:16:53):
first started was he was just arapper, like an annoying guy that was
rapping. That's how he first gotsuper popular. Come out in some gene
shorts. He'd he'd write like adis rhyme against another rest. He wraps
his own things. You know,I don't know that he wrapped his own
themes. He came out. Ithink he performed it with was it was
(01:17:15):
like three six Mafia or something ww un which is hilarious, which is
amazing. After the Monique show, she was the best and Johnson came out
there with three six Mafia and wrappedhis whole themes on. He had the
spinner chain and everything like that washis whole bit for the longest time,
(01:17:39):
was that he was a rapper andhe came out with a legit CD and
I'm not joking, Haley. Itwent platinum, went platinum. It was
like it's sold millions. He's abrilliant guy, Like he purposely learned Chinese
so that he can interact with thefans over in China. He is the
most requested Make a Wish guest inthe entire world. Yeah, so he
(01:18:00):
actually took on that role and madesure he knew how important it was to
him to get serious for a secondand to see how much of a role
model he is to the kids. And we laugh and joke about all the
raps and stuff. But he reallyevolved from that guy to what he is
today. But Joe Henry, maybehe'll take off like John I don't know.
I agree with everything he said.Back to the Funnies though, Joe
(01:18:20):
Henry, that song was top ofthe charts in the UK, above Taylor
Swift. He's from everybody, He'sin the k and he was like top
twenty in the US. That songOkay, wrestling theme song. Think about
that. Coming out to your ownsong is the most badass thing. I
always think about that, like ifI was I don't know why my brain
(01:18:43):
goes there, but like if Iplayed baseball, what would my walk up
song be? What would you walkout to if you were a wrestler or
something like that. Coming out toyour own song is that is the coolest,
especially if it's a banger. Andoh, Brandon from Becker just texted
in hot Take one of the reasonsJoe Henry is blown up is because he
has a great entrance song. Thatis part of it. Your entrance song
is absolutely part of your presentation, your character. If you have a good
(01:19:08):
banger entrance song, everybody's gonna remember. Everybody remembers the stone Cold Glass Breaking,
you know what I'm saying, Likeeverybody remembers the Shawn Michael song,
Like it's we open with the dX theme today. Like when you have
a banger w W entrance song,it just adds to it. And when
it's your own, it's double becauseyou're like, I did that, that's
me. I think I would comeout to Careless Whispers, Like everyone's like,
(01:19:32):
wait, sax version, Yes,you got to I think that would
be epic. I've heard, Yeah, just throw people off by saying people
are like, wait, what shouldsay? Is that careless? Careless?
Now that would be brilliant. Wegot to get you in the w W
(01:19:54):
Haley just for that soul reason.Hamiy Haley just ever come out to the
gold dust music? Oh God,ship shattered Dreams. Yeah, anyway,
another h ad is yeah, that'sthe gold dust was that was a whole
something. Yeah. We will closeout the show with the fan favorite segment.
(01:20:16):
Brett Blake Moore. We only hadtwo options today because me and Robbey
were so similar with dude the polls. I feel like I got robbed today.
I gotta tell you, well, because you two combined your powers like
the Power Rangers to take exactly andI just threw out like a like a
Pokemon those just way you knew itwas just gonna get destroyed. So yeah,
great sports Debates just dominated sixty sixpercent. All right, all right,
(01:20:40):
and we got some textures text withsome great questions answers debates that we
could possibly have. We'll do worseto take in the fan Favorite segment to
close out the show. One moresegment to go, final segment of worst
(01:21:14):
case scenario for the week. We'llbe back, same time, same place
next Sunday stands Robbie Roseenhouse because hewill be in Vegas for the NHL Draft
and UFC. I believe as well, you have three country. Good for
you. I will be checking innext Sunday with you guys for a couple
of minutes to kind of recap bothand where we go in the Sin City
(01:21:36):
three oh three right for core wassupposed to be so light heavyweight belt on
the line, uh pro Hosca againstPereira and also Diego Lopez against Brian Ortega
and the Comaine sowere we go plusplus pet power slap two. We're not
about to get into that, rightyeah, yeah, indeed the people yeah,
yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, There's there's not a lot of
(01:21:57):
debate about that, pers but wewill be debating because that's what the listeners
wanted us to do. This isthe fan favorite stegment and debate sports debates,
So does any kind of debate onefor the day. We all know
all the great sports debates that wecan get into, but I want to
start with this one. A littlebit of a role reversal here, Brett
(01:22:19):
Blakemore, Yes, tell me whythe Vikings will win a super Bowl before
your Packers win another hold on,then we'll have a rebuttal by Kaylee Darling
will defend the Green Bay Packers andargue for the Green Bay Packers and why
(01:22:42):
they will win a super Bowl beforethe vikings. J McCarthy is a franchise
quarterback and Justin Jefferson's the best receiverto ever play the games goals Copyright three.
The Packers will win, they're reallystruggling with Yeah, physically, yeah,
I'm not pleased this Max. ThePackers will win because they have the
(01:23:09):
best owners on the planet, andyeah, this is doing this is physically
painting me. Right now, Ican say something nice. They have the
greatest chant and the greatest owners andthat will will them to win before the
vikings. And they're just historical. So yeah, no pack No, Yeah,
(01:23:38):
that's it. I'm gonna that's gonnabout me for the rest of the
day. Yeah, I isolate, save it for forever. That was like
me saying when Caitlin Clark and Iowawere in the Yeah, it's brutal.
As far as like the great sportsdebates go, I think we need to
(01:23:58):
give a lifetime achievement to just MountRushmore because that is like the all time
that's like, that's the one thatquen sports exactly that you can do.
Yeah, that's that's the Lifetime AchievementAward Sports Radio and Robbie you mentioned earlier,
and some of the texts have reactedto it about Pete Rose to be
yeah, in the Baseball Hall ofFame. I say, yeah, yeah,
I think I think at this point. Yet Listen, he signed a
(01:24:20):
deal with the former commissioner Bartiomanti thatwould ban him from baseball for life.
And now we've been through two threecommissioners since then, almost forty years have
passed. The guys in his eighties. He's signing autographs and given speeches around
the country and Charlie Hustle deserves tobe with a plaque. And it's sad
because they probably will put him inafter he's gone and and and posted,
(01:24:45):
yeah, and post his hit hispassing. But he's one of the greatest
players of all time. He's oneof the greatest hitters of all time.
He's obviously got the hits record,and yeah, I mean he's he's I
think he's eighty three. He's bornfor fourteen forty one, so eighty three.
Why do you know my dad's favoriteathlete ever? I wore fourteen all
(01:25:05):
growing up because of Pete Rose.I've read his biography, I've met him,
I've interviewed him, so like,I know a lot about Pete Rose,
which is kind of why I broughtthat up. And I just think
that, I mean, I methim once. I just you know,
so you but again definitely not becausehe'd be given probably bad No, no,
he'd be giving me bad tips too, to put in on horses or
(01:25:29):
sports or whatever. But no,I just think, I just think enough
time has passed where gambling is soomni present in our culture and you see
odds and commercials and ads and everything, and he basically, you know,
has admitted never to betting against histeam, which again I'll take him at
his word, and I just hopeone day he can live long enough to
(01:25:53):
see it, because I think Ithink he deserves his place there. And
you see so many guys going intoHall of Fames these days, no matter
what hall of fame it is,is where they don't deserve it. Harold
Baines is a Hall of Famer.Get lost like they don't even he doesn't
even belong on the same field asPete Rose. So poor Harold, Yeah,
a glorified DH. But again, nevertheless, Pete Rose deserves to be
(01:26:13):
in the Hall of Fame. Howdo you think the baseball community would react
to that? Do you think theywould embrace that or do you think people
would be mad at that? Ithink it's split half. I mean,
even just judging by the text line, we have some people saying bleep no,
and we have some people saying bleepyeah. So it's like some people
are still of the old school mindsetof like you could never he's inextricably tied
to gambling for the rest of hislife, no matter he's arguably the best
(01:26:36):
baseball player of all time, andthat's not even the first thing that we
think about. One of the besthit one of the best hitters. Yes,
his legacy, then that's his baseball, his legacy. It's I think
his legacy is his legacy is gambling. Unfortunately is unfortunately you know, you
have to take you have to takethat that aspect of his career, a
post when he was managing and everythingelse, and just all the fallout from
(01:27:00):
how he got banned, and youhave to factor that in there's no way
you can ignore it. But ifyou just look at the Hall of Fame
player, I mean, he wonWorld Series with the Reds and the Phillies
and was a really good hitter forboth franchises, and still again just a
just a real shame that he's notin there. I never thought I would
relate to Pete Rose, but Iam also very talented. But my legacy
(01:27:20):
is my Pete Rose on the wheelright. Yes, yes, that's that
is hilarious, But yeah, itis kind of a shame the way I
mean he's just doing random signings atlike the Burnsville Center or places like that,
(01:27:44):
you know, like it's similar placesto that. It's just kind of
sad to see one of the alltime greats in his career kind of dwindle
like that. So hopefully they canfigure something out. Moving away from the
sports for for the debate segment, for just one second, I got an
interesting one that came in here.Would you rather travel to the past or
to the future future? It's noteven close. Yeah, I mean I'm
not even close. There's only aboutlike forty or fifty years. Wouldn't it
(01:28:10):
be cool for me to tell, yeah, I'm going to go to the
future. On that note, ifyou could pick a decade, let's say
in the last fifty years to goback to, what decade would you go
and like be like a teenager inyour twenties whatever? Me, it's the
seventies. Yeah, yeah, lateseventies, early mid eighties would be awesome.
(01:28:31):
Okay, I would do seventies andlike travel with the Eagles or Fleetwood
Mac and go to every car.I would be a band aid. I
will be so much fun. I'dbe a bank robber because I feel like
back then there was like there waslike a career move. You could just
be a career bank robber. Nobodyjust didn't want. Yeah, you hang
a business car, like I'll havea bank for you, sir, Like
(01:28:53):
there was way. Let's say I'djust be a bank robber. Am I
still? I still have my knowledgeof the present, east and west of
the real. Yeah, I'm gonnafirst of all, I'm gonna gamble on
all the World Series all that,Yeah, super Bowl, I'm going to
become a multimillionaire. I'm going totell Steve Jobs about this whole thing called
Apple and computers. But aside fromthat, Yeah, just growing up with
the you know, all the differentmusic, the media. I love.
(01:29:14):
Just the visual of the eighties iskind of like that whole neon bright kind
of glow around all of the eighties. I grew watching Miami, Vice and
the Golden Girls are from Prime.Yeah. Full house, full of House,
A full of house exactly. Soyou know, would I would do?
I would do the seventies or theeighties, how about you, Brett
Blakemr. But first of all, past or future. And if it was
(01:29:36):
the past, which decade, Ithink I would go future, just just
for the advancement and just yeah, like I think about the video games are
going to be playing in like twentyYou're gonna be like beamed straight to your
brain. Yeah, it's gonna becrazy if I went to the past.
This is the sad but true answer. Just take me back to my childhood.
I was just playing NHL O threeand not a problem, not a
(01:29:58):
worry in the world. Now,that's what I would tune in a couple
of weeks when Max and I throwdown for Biggie Versus two PoCA, that
could be could day, it couldbe certainly that'll have to wait for another
day because we're signing off for theweek. Thank you all for spending a
little bit of your Sunday with youjust tuned in thirty seconds ago, or
you've been with us since eleven. We appreciate you spending a little time with
(01:30:20):

eloquently a breaking down the NHL Draft. We'll I'll let y'all next week. Peace f
