(00:00):
Welcome back to the Young and Unscriptedpodcast Happy Thursday. So today we're gonna
be talking about Benny Blanco not knowingI guess that he was in love with
Selena Gomez right away. There's abanana peel face mask that maybe is,
you know, helping people look younger. Uh. Chety went to go do
(00:23):
a San Francisco State talk yesterday,so we'll talk a little bit about that.
And I just finished watching the showBaby Reindeer last night and I am
mind blown. So let's start withBenny Blanco. Okay, So Benny Blanco,
as you know, he's dating SelenaGomez, which honestly a little weird
(00:43):
gotta say that relationship, but itworks for them. But pretty much,
she said he was the last oneto know that he was in love with
her. He quote unquote said,it's crazy how your partner could be sitting
right there the whole time, rightin front of your eyes, and you
don't even know. And then youhad that cluelest moment where you're like,
wait, I'm in love and Iwant to know how you feel about that,
(01:04):
Like, hmmm, how'd you feelabout your boyfriend saying that he was
the last person so that he wasalone with you, Well, that would
make me so sad. But I'mtrying to think about I guess how their
relationship went about. Yeah, Idon't know how they started dating. I
know they've been friends for a veryvery long time, so maybe it was
(01:25):
and they worked together a lot, right, Yeah, maybe I don't think
a lot, but I think theywere with each other, Okay, because
when I initially like saw the headline, I guess I thought he was saying
like that they were already talking andhe or that they were already kind of
you know, in the flirting flirtingmode, and that everybody was kind of
(01:45):
like, okay, you are youtwo are a thing. He was like,
I don't know, yeah, butit seems that he's just saying like,
this is somebody that I've known forso long, but I can't believe
this is now my partner, rightyeah, I okay. So I kind
of referred it to back to Bridgertonbecause there's this storyline where this one of
(02:07):
the guys there, this girl likeshim a lot and he's clueless to realize
that, like he's like she's inlove with him, and then realizes later
like, oh shoot, maybe Ishouldn't have friends on there. This is
actually the love of my life.So I'm getting that kind of vibe,
like, Okay, they were friendsand then one day you're just like,
oh, wait, you but likeyou. But do you think Benny Blanco
(02:30):
was the one friend? No otherway around it? No, because I
saw I heard that, not heard, but the streets were saying aka Twitter
that he used to like talk messabout Selena Gomez, like he would like
say things about her, So maybeso maybe he Yeah, maybe he wasn't
(02:51):
very fond of her before back then. I still don't think he's really fond
of it like that. I think. Look, I wanted to give him
the benefit of the doubt because obviouslyevery and he was like ill so ill.
Well, well, initially I waslike, Okay, you know,
maybe he's he's a good guy,ball a lot. And then more videos
and more interviews came out about him, and I was like, oh,
you're not helping your cays. Sonow I'm on the side of like,
(03:15):
girl, what are you doing.I'm gonna be honest, I'm just waiting
for them to break up, LikeI know that sounds really mess up,
That does sound really I want herto be happy, but I just feel
like she could do so much betterthan Benny Blockwell, I feel like anybody
on the street is better than BennyBlock. Guy. I just I feel
like behind the scenes he's he mightbe rude. I think so too.
I mean, you saw that videowe talked about on the JV show where
(03:35):
he was reviewed. He was, yeah, and it was very one of
the videos where I was like,Okay, I think a little different than
I thought, But who knows. How much time do you give it?
Then? I don't know. Idon't know. I feel like maybe next
year. I feel like it's gonnago on a while, but I'm just
ready for them to I'm just tryingto read that headline they split up,
(03:57):
and then I'm gonna be happy becausewow sorry wow, Okay, moving on,
what is this banana peel? Oh? So I saw this on TikTok
so pretty much people are using bananapeels and rubbing it on their face for
like anti wrinkle things, which isso weird because I feel like we do
(04:19):
put a lot of stuff on ourface like that. Odds. It is
like food. You put a lotof food on our face, I have
to say, And I don't know, I just feel like with fruit specifically,
it gets kind of sticky and Idon't really like the feeling of it.
Okay, So I don't know ifI'm here for this or not.
I think I will try it maybeone time. I'm not sure what the
(04:40):
recipe is, why it does helpwrinkles, if it does or not.
But it's a new thing that peopleare trying. So are you here for
it or not? I don't thinkI'm here for it, only because I
feel like after I eat a banana, I just want to throw the peel
away. Yeah. And then alsobananas not they don't spoil fast, but
they get brown really fast, Likeif you open it, then your banana
already looking really gross. So Iwonder if you do have to wait for
(05:02):
it to get like that level,to that level, and maybe it,
I don't know, it does betterthings for your skin or something, or
the person in the article. Ialso read more into it. It just
said that a lot of dermatologists recommendactually using real skincare products and not using
banana peels. That would be okay, well that's just a lot. Yeah,
(05:24):
So then I will definitely not bedoing this. I will say I
have limited my skincare products a littlebit, because I think I was at
a point where I was just usingtoo many products, and I was like,
okay, let me tone it down. Let me just so instead of
doing like my skincare routine of allof the items that I use in the
(05:46):
morning and at night, I'm justdoing one of those and then the other.
So let's say if I'm just doingit at night, then in the
morning, I'll do like a verysimple morning routine. Because it also can't
be good to be putting so manychemicals on our face. I feel like
it clogs up so like I havea lot of bad acne. So I
always like do morning and I alwaysdo a cleanser like to close my face
(06:09):
off, and then I do someserums and also I do I don't do
a lot of spot treatment or no, like like what I didn't see and
stuff like that. And then whatelse, Oh, and then this,
I can't remember the name of thisthing. It's a it's a like a
medicational thing. It's such a at trum. I don't know if it's
(06:29):
not it's it's something like that somethinglike that, but it helps with it
does like oh my gosh, itdoes miracles to your acne. Yes,
Like when I when I was reallygood at using it every day, my
acneque kind of went away a littlebit because I have these bad like brown
acne spots or like these ingrown it'slike scars, scars, yeah, because
then I pop it. Oh,I know, it's so hard not to
(06:54):
pop your pimples though. It's reallyhard. Like there's sometimes where I'm in
my car and I'm just in themare and I stay there for like ten
minutes, just like popping stuff, and then I know this is bad.
And then I walk out of mycar and I'm just all bruised up.
I think I came here. Ihurt. It does hurt, but I
can't stop. Like I just likeI get so fascinat I just had the
(07:15):
pop every black head everything in myface, and I cannot leave you until
everything is popped out. Oh mygosh. I have like this one spot
on my face where I just feellike anytime I get like a pimple,
it's there, like in that exactspot, and it'll go away and then
it comes back, and then itgoes away and then it comes back.
But it's just there and I'm like, oh my gosh, I want to
(07:39):
like remove that patch of skin andlike I do that. There's one I
get that's all my nose. It'salways it was like right like right here,
and it doesn't happen often, butwhen it does, it's like the
biggest pimple of my life. Likeit's like right there, it's so hard
to miss. I think knows likewhenever you get anything on your head.
Yeah, it just feels like it'sa mountain. Literally, like we'd off
(08:00):
the red nose Reindeer over here.Just I'm like, oh, and then
I didn't right there for everybody tosee. Yep. I hate that.
Okay, we'll move it on.Sorry for anybody that gets grossed out by
uh talk about football talks. Yeah, well, let's talk about your talk
that you did yesterday. Okay, let's not talk about it. I feel
(08:24):
like I need a break from talkingright now. Okay, I talk about
too much. Let's talk about BabyReindeer then. Okay, because this is
the new show that I told youon Tuesday that you have to watch on
Netflix. So before you get intoI did watch a little bit on TikTok
oh, not not in person, not I mean non person. I didn't
watch it on Netflix yet because Idon't have time. Okay, okay,
(08:45):
so I am gonna watch. Itdoes look interesting from the stuff that I
saw on TikTok, I was like, okay, yeah, this is gonna
this is very intriguing, So okay, tell us a little bit about it.
So I don't want to spoil tootoo much, right But it is
a series about a comedian and he'sa struggling comedian, so he also works
a side job at a bar.He ends up, you know, just
(09:09):
meeting one of the customers that goesinto the bar one day. It turns
out it turns into like a stalkerstory pretty much, so he now has
a stalker. It just gets worseand worse as the show goes on.
Right now, I don't again,I don't want to spoil too much for
anybody that hasn't seen it yet.But I think what is the most shocking
(09:31):
about this story is the fact thatit's the main actor's real life story.
So he is like reliving all ofthe trauma that happened in his life on
the show and it's insane, Likethe amount of things that he went through
are crazy. But for him tohave to like act them out now,
(09:54):
Yeah, like the amount of therapyyou need for that. So dude,
I think that if you were tobe offered, you know, a role
for a movie or something and theywere like, look, we want you,
we want to tell the story ofyour life, but we want you
to play it. See, Ifeel like your acting will be like impeccable
because you're reliving those moments, sothose reactions will probably be like real.
(10:20):
So I feel like if I hadenough therapy and I was okay, I
would do it just I don't know, but to relate that trauma because it's
a lot of thing else of likea lot of abuse. So I will
say there is a lot of abusein the show, Like, uh,
that's just a big topic. Yeah. So I'm wondering, like did I
(10:43):
wonder if he went to therapy aboutthis, and like did he get triggered
a lot during this show? Youknow what I mean? Like filming,
Like I'm really curious to see likelike after maybe hopefully when since the show's
getting a lot of traction because Ihave seen it online a lot, if
they're gonna if he's gonna be likea press tour or something like I think
he's already you know, talking aboutit a lot more. I think he
(11:05):
did mention. Hopefully I am gettingthis correct, but I haven't looked too
too much into his whole story besideswhat happened on the show, because I
didn't want to spoil it and Ijust finished it last night. Yeah,
but he did say like it washard for him to have to relive all
of those like scenes and moments.Again, I wonder why he decided to
(11:28):
do it and not want to hireit because he made the film so yeah,
so I'm wondering why he didn't hireanybody else to do it. Maybe
he just he knew how he wantedit to be portrayed, and he I
mean he really he lived it,so he's the only person that really knows
every single detail about it and howhe was acting. And yeah, that's
just insane. Though, Like Ihad seen videos of people saying this is
(11:52):
the real comedian of you know, the show Baby Reindier, and I was
like, wow, he looks somuch like that. Yeah, until I
found out it he is a actor. But yeah, I know a lot
of people say that he did thiswhole thing like really well, like how
he portrayed like the big trauma eventthat happened into his life m and just
how he was able to show howhe coped with it, like coped with
(12:15):
being a victim and stuff like that. So I'm really excited to watch it.
Yeah. So the thing about thisshow too is obviously the Internet is
crazy. Yeah. So after theshow came out, the actor did say
like he didn't want people to tryto figure out who the stalker was,
and you know, the internet, and you know, the internet went and
(12:37):
found her. I know I sawthat too. I was like, so,
dang, that is crazy to seewho this real life stalker was.
Yeah, because she is crazy. And I will also say the actor that
played her did a really great job. Yeah. I saw some clips.
I was like, wow, sheshe looks a little crazy, act really
(12:58):
well scer. So she's got somebackground there too, from her personally not
but but it's a really great showand I do recommend but be aware that
there is a lot of abuse andtrigger warning. Yeah, a lot of
that. What would you rate it? Oh my gosh, it's only seven
(13:22):
episodes, So I'm gonna say,do you think there could be more?
Like another season? I think therecould be more. Okay, I'm trying
to remember how it ended because itwas really late yesterday. But I'm going
to rate it a nine. Okay, Oh that's like really yeah, okay,
not yeah, I think I thinkbecause he deserves it for being like
(13:46):
the actor, the actor to hisown yeah story, and he I think
he did a great job at actingit out, So I mean he should.
He's the only one he really can. Okay, let's move on.
Yeah. Wait, by the way, is there any new shows that you've
not currently I'm just waiting for Bridgertonthree to come out. And is there
(14:07):
a release date? Now? Yeah, there's a release I think it's June
thirteenth. Okay, it's coming on. And there's another that's part one and
part two. No, sorry,May thirteenth is part one. Almost yeah,
almost there, And I've been seeingso much stuff on online about it,
and I'm so excited. Yeah,I really cannot wait to dive into
that with you guys a little bitmore so. Yeah, I haven't.
(14:30):
I'm gonna watch Baby Reindeer this weekend. Okay. Other than that, you
know what movie I really want towatch? What the I think we talked
about this does the Day movie?Yeah, challenging it came out. Oh
my gosh, Okay, so Angelina, you know she works at night.
I guess she had a thing withthem. Yeah, it looks so fun.
I was like, girl, whatmy invite? No, but I
(14:52):
know it looks really cool. AndI've been wanting to watch this movie for
a long time because obviously we've seenso many like pressed about it, and
I tennis, and so I wantto watch it tomorrow. Like I'll kid
you not, I'm probably gonna gowatch it tomorrow and you can tell us
about it on Tuesday. Yes,I'm scared to watch it with my aunt
though, because I know that shehas a scene with two of the brothers,
(15:15):
so that's yeah, she kisses twopeople. She kisses two people.
I'm just and people said they havenever seen the Daya acting this way before,
so I'm like really scared, Likeis this gonna be appropriate to watch
my aunt or should I just gowith myself and my my cousin. So
I'm still debating. So this movieis do you know the storyline behind it?
(15:37):
I haven't really read too much aboutit, so I just know that
she is a famous tennis player andthen she ends up getting injured, so
like her whole world changes. Butthere's these two brothers who are both in
love with her. Well, oneis in love with her and then one
is just like I guess, lustingover her. So she I don't know
which brother. Yeah it's not Idon't Okay, it's not based on a
(15:58):
true sorry, but yeah, it'sgonna be very interesting and I'm excited.
Oh my gosh. You know, the other day, I don't know if
maybe this new collection is that Targetmaybe because of that movie. I don't
know. Actually maybe not. BecauseTarget has a new collection that looks like
(16:18):
it's a lot of tennis outfits,but I think it's more like pickleball.
Okay, I think tennis and pickleballare the new tread now because I've been
seeing a lot of tiktoks about pickleballon my First of all, what the
hell is pickleball? I'm very similarto tennis, but I think the ball
is different. I think it's awhiffle ball hard, I think, but
I could be wrong. I knowmy boyfriend has played. It's like a
(16:41):
different paddle, it's a different Well, it's because for tennis you use a
racket, yeah, but for pickleballyou use like a little almost like a
ping pong. Okay, so Ithink that's that's interesting. They have some
cute outfits at Target. I waslike, oh my god, money,
I was how fits are my weakness? No? Right, okay, So
(17:03):
yesterday I had to we're gonna getthis this were into it later. But
yesterday I was like, Jess,I don't know what to do. I
have like three four hours to spare. I was like, I'm probably gonna
go to home depot and not homedepot. Oh my god, TJ back.
How does home depot A? Iwas thinking, what is the other
place home goods? I was likedwas if you ever see GD at home
(17:26):
people just just not lost, that'sokay, yeah, call call call someone
please, because I'm not supposed tobe there for her. Probably deranged.
But yeah. So I was tellingJess I was gonna go to like TJ
Max and stuff like that to lookat you know, decorations and stuff,
because I'm manifesting in new apartments, you guys. And Jess's face was like
(17:51):
she's lit up. She lit up. She's like, Dan, that doesn't
really sound good. She's like that. You can see that, like debating
she should go home be productive.I love home goods and Marshals and shopping,
shopping, and literally, yeah,it just sucks because I'll go on
(18:14):
like the fashion Nova website because I'mlike, if they have bione, get
will free, like I can't passit up. Yeah it's a deal.
But then sometimes they don't, butthey'll still have like forty percent and I
can't pass that up. I'm sorry. It's so funny because Fashion Nova always
like the messages and I'm just like, whoa girl, you know it?
Down? No, down, it'sI don't get paid some next week,
(18:34):
Okay, But honestly, the buywon't get one free, like that's that's
a really good deal. Yeah ohyeah it was yesterday finale yesterday. No
no, no, no oh thatwas a free shipping oh and forty percent
off. Why wouldn't you go onfashion Nova and buy something like especially when
they already have some Yeah, Iwill say the other quality sucks. I'm
sorry. Oh yeah, I boughtsomething from them and then I think like
(18:56):
the second day I already ripped andI was like and it was like a
like a cardigan no again, theplatted shirts. What is it called the
flannel? Yeah, it was aflannel I'm like, how is there rip?
And it was like so much biggerthan what I usually wear. See,
that's the thing that obviously I heara lot of people talk about when
it comes to fast fashion. Yeah, because it's not ethical, then we're
(19:22):
getting the quality obviously also based onhow much we pay, which is not
good quality because we're not paying muchfor it. Yeah. But then also
I'm like, if you go toa store that is ethical and that has
been much money, it's so expensivefor even if it's you're just buying a
basic white tea. If you are, yeah, I'm like, I'm sorry,
but I cannot pay fifty dollars forthat. I know, I'm sorry
(19:45):
that it is ethical, but mespending fifty I don't know. I don't
know if stars speaking, I justknow it's expensive. I walked in there
one time and it was like,oh my gosh, this is a way
above my tax bracket. I'm moreof a fashion and Nova type girly or
Forever Ross type girly. I loveRoss, I love Ross specials. Yeah,
(20:07):
all of that, but oh yeah, let's talk about your talk.
Okay. Yeah, So first ofall, I had to stay here for
like four hours okay, we gotwe got off of work at ten.
I was going to speak. Iwas invited from actually somebody who works here
to go speak with her class ats F State. You know, I
did go to ss State graduating fromthere. So I was gonna speak to
(20:29):
the broadcast in radio department, likemajors or whatever. So I ended up
going there, ended up talking foran hour, and I was like,
this is terrible because if you knowus, we like to talk a lot,
so we ry. Yeah. SoI was just talking because I get
excited, but also I was alittle bit nervous. Not gonna lie,
but it was really cool. There'sa lot of people who are interested in
(20:52):
doing radio, so I just talkedto them about like how I got started
into radio. Told them that patientsis key because you know it's gonna take
a while for you to get towhere you want to be. And what
else did I talk about? IOh, I gave them tips. I'm
like, well, how to getinto the door, Like need to know
(21:14):
people because you get into the door, Yeah, we should pull Yeah,
if you see the hinges that meanswait. So how many people was it?
I think it was like about twentypeople. Yeah, twenty people.
Well, I don't know directly, but it was a very small class.
Okay, so yeah, I wouldsay it, but it's still intimidating.
Huh. It's like being to anybody. I'm like, ah, being in
front of a class. Like Iused to shake in my boots when I
(21:37):
had to present, like do aspeech or something. And then I was
like, fuck, I got atalk in front of this class and my
mouth was so dry because okay, during night break where while I was waiting,
I took a fat nap like inmy car, like mouth wide open,
Oh my gosh, it out andthis was inner away. Oh my
(22:00):
god. I was gonna say thesecurity guard here at work was probably like
a shoek, right, And there'sone time where security actually this is this
is a long time ago. ButI ended up having COVID. But I
was so tired, so you didneed help. Yeah, I was so
tired, but I was like Ihad an alarm on, so I had
some time. So I was likemouth wide open the cigaret and knocked on
(22:21):
my door. Went I was like, are you okay, Oh yeah,
just taking a nap. Oh didyou know you had COVID? Thumb at
that point, no, I didnot. I wouldn't have come if I
knew I had COVID. But ohmy god, after because I was feeling
so like I was tired and justnot feeling good, and then I took
a test, I was like,oh, yeah, yeah, COVID's great.
Okay, So yesterday you went toChick fil A. Yeah, just
chick fil A. Got my freeseat. I know, I know there's
a lot of stuff going on withChick fil A right now, but I
(22:44):
think chicken. Yeah, but youknow, fake chicken and free chicken.
I gotta I can't pass up,so you know, it's free food.
So I went got Chick fil a, ate, put my card back,
my seatback, knocks out with mywindow a little bit down. She has
like chick sauce on. No,it's bad, And I was like,
(23:07):
I know people probably were seeing me, and I just I had that fear
of people are gonna record me,like look at this girl, You're gonna
end up on TikTok knocked out. That's one of that's one of my biggest
fears right there. But yeah,so I was saying, So after I
took a nab, I went thereand then my mouth was just so dried.
I was talking so much. Iwas like, oh my gosh,
this is probably like glad that they'reway away from me, because I don't
want them to feel my hot breath, you know, but smell the spicy
(23:30):
chicken. Oh yeah, that's exactlywhat I got to But yeah, So
it was really cool seeing a lotof kids who are like ambitious to be
where we're at. I obviously toldthem that, you know, I heard
well, I don't know because Inever was a part of the broadcasting department
like I was in a major,But I heard us a little bit different
(23:52):
from there to like commercial radio. So what what is the difference? I
know, as I don't know becauseI haven't too classes. Yeah, but
I don't know how they're structured theircurriculum. But I told them that like
our talk brace a little bit shorterdepending on what part of the day you're
in, and like how it's importantto prep how you're gonna hate your own
(24:15):
voice when you do aartegs all thetime. And I actually played them one
of my you I did. Isaid, don't laugh at me, this
is education on purposes because you know, okay, Jess knows I hate talking
in front of people. She hatestalking to anybody here. Well, yeah,
so like if I'm on the air, if I'm on the air,
(24:37):
I just rather have nobody in theroom with me because it's just so awkward.
But so yeah, I shared themmy air Teck. I was very
cool. We've come a long waybecause I can be in the room now.
Yeah. I know just is inthe room with me one time and
I was like, oh gosh,I remember you. I feel like you
kind of would avoid it in thebeginning. So I was like, wait,
I think she wants to record,But I don't think she wants because
I'd be like, oh, whydon't you just record. I'd be like,
(24:59):
Genie, why don't you just getahead and record your show? Yeah,
and then I will wait till show. We don't have a long way.
Yeah, I got the sense thatyou didn't want me to hear you,
and that's a cancer for you,I want to say directly, because
I like the company. But Iwas like, I'm scared, like I
don't want her to judge me,you know, But yeah, we come
(25:19):
a long way. You know. That's cool. Though. I'm sure they
you know, appreciated getting their faceswere just like staring and I was like,
okay. Some of them did aska lot of questions though, but
I was just like, oh mygod, I would have feel so self
conscious just I was just standing infront and everybody just like yeah. I
(25:41):
was like I don't know because likeI don't know what to talk about like
this. I feel like with radiothere's so much stuff that like we have
so many like behind the scenes, yeah, you know, and advice that
you can want to give somebody, but there's like you don't know where to
start. But yeah, if you'reinterested in radio, all I gotta say
is just have the passion for it, because I think that's literally what you
(26:03):
need like to start is passion.Everything else can be learned. Yeah,
exactly, you just have to havepassion for it. So it was really
fun. Well I do it again? Probably not? But is that because
you had to stay here later orbecause because you were you were like scared
of both both? Like one Ihad to say late, I had.
It took me two hours to gethome and I got home at seven,
(26:26):
Like, oh my god, Iwas tired, and I was like,
yeah, I don't want to stayback and do this again. Also,
like I like helping people. ButI just feel like, sometimes, Okay,
this is my personal opinion. Ifeel like when people ask me like
how they can get into radio orif they like want advice or something,
they never take it, and thatkind of just like you waste it here
for me, yeah, like dressin the wrong way, Like I want
(26:48):
to see other people succeed, butbut I need you to want it because
I feel like when I was inthat position, I wanted it badly.
Like I was, you know, constantly calling and texting people like everybody block
cheaty. I literally I feel likeI told you guys, but I don't
know if I told you this ornot. But our promotions department, the
(27:10):
head of promotions, I called himbefore I got this interview, five interviews.
I called him like every single dayuntil they got back to me,
Like I was persistent. So itwas Now looking back, I'm like,
it's embarrassing, but that's how itworked, and I think that's worked for
a lot of people. Yeah, because then they remember who you are whenever
(27:34):
I see see job, like, yeah, I remember the time where I
called you so many times, Ohmy gosh, embarrassing. See for me,
it was like once I had gottenhired, because it was taking the
process is so long sometimes to actuallycome on board, and so like a
month yeah, when I had gonehired in Selina's, I was like,
they probably don't even want me towork there anymore. Like it's been months
(27:57):
and they haven't called me back. And I kept calling and wanting to talk
to the promotions director and being like, hey, like, you know,
am I gonna start anytime you am? I still like do you remember me?
But man, I'm glad. I'mglad you went. I'm glad you
went. Yeah, So hopefully they, you know, take what I said
(28:17):
and like resonated with it. Itold them, like to go to anybody's
DMS, like most likely, Iknow, we're busy, but somebody will
respond back to you eventually, butwe are, like we are busy people,
so it might it might take youweek. We are busy. I'm
gonna take a three hour nap.Yeah, I'm gonna ress. I'm watch
this show and I'm gonna watch thisshow literally but listen. That's like like
(28:41):
that. But honestly, like yourshows, that is content, So you're
working minus rest. It's important.I need rest so I can refresh it
up for the next day. Like, come on, you don't want me
coming in tired. It's just we'rejust not gonna have a good show.
You're welcome. So any plan, thank you, thank you very serious.
(29:06):
Any plans for the weekend? Youknow it's Saturday. I'm probably just gonna
watch the challenges, like I saidearlier, and yeah, I think that's
about it. I'm gonna see howit goes. But oh, I am
gonna plan on having Fridays as ame day because you know lay that out
for us. Okay, So Ilove my family, but I feel like
(29:26):
I'm at home all of the time. Like it's like, why am I
home right now? I don't needto be home. I could be out
in the streets. I could begoing to this place. So my plan
is Fridays, since I don't haveto wake up early the next day on
Saturday, I'm just gonna like picka place and just go there, so
like Santa Cruz, or like gohang out with my friend at the bar,
(29:49):
or like just just do something thatI want to do and not go
home till late. Because I'm like, why I'm twenty six years old about
to be twenty seven, Why amI at home on a Friday Night facts
like why am I not doing anythingin my life? Like this is the
time that I need to living exactly. Yeah, And I'm just like I'm
(30:11):
here all the time anyway, Likewhat's the one day you're gonna do?
So I'm gonna start planning stuff todo, even if it's by myself,
Like I just want to do thattravel, go to other places. I
yeah, I'm trying to go toLa. I'm trying to make it.
I feel like I talked to youearlier about this year, but yeah,
one of my goals is trying togo to La on a like a one
day trip because it works so much. But I think I'm gonna do that
(30:34):
in June. So I'm excited forthat, just to explore. Yeah,
Okay, I like La. I'llhave been there like a couple of times,
which is crazy because we live likeso so close to it. But
I do want to go to likeI probably won't have enough money yet for
Disneyland, but I do want togo to like some film spots. I
think it's cool, like runner BroStudios and there's this really good smoothie place
(30:59):
called CHETI talks about this is that'sthe only reason she wants to go to
Yep. Yeah, and I'm like, I want that smoothie today, simply
wholesome. Okay, it's so good. And they're very like like they care
a lot about the products that theyput in to their food, like they're
very earthy. I guess I wantto say, so very healthy. Love
(31:21):
them. What are you doing thisweekend, Jess? Okay, so you
last weekend, I know, AndI'm like, will I get to rest
this weekend? I don't know.So Friday, I am gonna drive to
Selina's because I have to take Bubblesto her vet appointment. So her vet
is in San Mateo. No,I'm lying. Her vet is in Sunnyvale,
(31:44):
I believe. Okay, expensive place. Yeah, So I'm taking her
there because that's like where they've takenher since she was very little. So
I just wanted to keep her atthe same vet. Okay, that makes
sense. But then when I askedfor the quote, I think I talked
about this. When I for thequote for her to get Spade, it
was like close to one thousand dollarsand I'm sorry, I cannot do that.
(32:07):
That is a lot of money. Her insurance is to pay for it.
I have insurance for her. Ohyou know, I never got it,
wow, because I couldn't figure out, like which one to choose,
Like there were just too many recommendationsand I was like, I don't know
which one's best, Like any isbetter than out of pocket. So when
I talked to my best friend whohas five cats, like I mentioned,
(32:30):
he told me how much they chargedyou? Yeah, has five cats?
He has five cats? Yeah, okay, nice? Yes, five.
I was a crazy cat lady,but he's a crazy cat queen. I
love that. So he told methat when he went to get his cat.
(32:51):
I don't know if it was Spadeor neutered, one of the two
Spade for girls. Yeah, butI don't I think he has I don't
know what he had to get fivecats? Yeah, it was one of
the other or I think he's hadto do both. Yeah, but they
only charged him. I want tosay it was less than two hundred dollars.
Wow. From one thousand to twohundred is actually it insane? And
(33:13):
that was for the nooter or Spadeand adding like the microchip, wow,
which I think I'm gonna do reallybecause I am like terrified of her running
away one day and like me notfinding her. I had a nightmare like
that one day and I was like, oh my gosh, Like in my
(33:35):
nightmare, I was walking around liketrying to find her, and I would
see a white cat and I wouldlook at their face and I was like,
wait, no, that's not thelike, that's not her, And
it was traumatizing. The cats aresmart, they know where their home is
at. Yeah, but it's scary, yeah, because I feel like every
time I take her to my mom'shouse, she like wants to be outside.
Oh So, I don't know ifit's because I think around there there's
(33:57):
like a little bit more cats.Runt ye. No, no, she
said. You did say that she'sshe's been in heats. You know,
she probably she wants young though,Oh my gosh. I'm like, you
can't be thinking about that no,or doing that or doing that. Yeah.
So I feel like if she doeshave it. I think my best
friend's the one that was telling meabout this that if somebody were to find
(34:20):
her and want to keep her forthemselves and then they take her to the
vet, yeah, they'll like giveme a call right away to say like,
hey, we found oh we foundher. That's nice. I'm always
scared. I know I was too. I I was gonna say no,
like I just was not gonna dothe fear of yeah much. Yeah,
I just I think about this somuch because I'm like, oh my gosh,
(34:43):
I am so attached to this tinylittle creature that like it's actually scary
guys, Okay, not upsessed.I just love her very much. No,
be just in person, and ohmy gosh, she will see screensaver
bubbles, That's true. She looksat it. Oh my gosh, like
how can you leave there behind?Like every time BE talking to her,
(35:06):
Jess will just pull up randomly, just pull up a picture because she's so
cute. I agree. And allthe months that we've worked together, CHETI
has shown me like one picture ofher dog. So, yeah, what
is going on there? Where isthe last? I feel like I tell
you why. The love is veryscarce. Okay, he wakes me up
in the middle of the night.I don't get sleep because of him.
(35:28):
Yeah, I know we're beefing alittle bit. Still love him though he
loves me, But geez, hecould really make me want to pull up
my hair. Oh my gosh,my gosh. Okay, Anyways, so
I'm taking her time in tomorrow andthen after that, Uh, my boyfriend
and I we're gonna with one ofour couple friends. We're all gonna go
(35:52):
to which I love it there.Where is it? It's south. I
thought it was like a restaurant orit's a place. It's maybe about an
hour and a half from Salina's,so from San Francisco would be like three
hours and a half. They havea lot of wineries, they have some
(36:13):
breweries. They have they have areally nice place called river Oaks, uh
Spring Spa or something like that, river Oaks something. But they have these
like natural kind of like pools filledwith you know, like kind of like
(36:34):
hot tubs and it's supposed to belike water with like epsom salt or I
don't know what's in there, tobe honest, but so relaxing, such
a beautiful place, and I justI love it there. They have some
really great restaurants too. So there'sthis place called Yeah it's nice, so
cheaperd than that, but though I'lltell you that, yes, yeah,
(36:58):
yeah for sure. But there's aplace there called fish Gauchel And oh yeah,
you don't like, I'm like, what's that was about? I forgo
no, but they have. Ithink I don't know they're lying, but
apparently they have like one of thebiggest like Thiki La bars, like in
the area, what fish Gauchel verygood. So we're gonna go there Friday
(37:22):
night and then Saturday morning we're gonnago like quad writing. That's so fun,
I know, I don't. Idon't think. I'm like trying to
think back because I don't think i'veever it is so fun written one.
Really, I don't think so,but I feel you will remember if you've
(37:43):
written one, because it's so fun. Yeah, I'm like scared. Do
you have asthma? I don't,Okay, you're good, well, because
like I had asthma and I wentwell, granted I went in the desert
as I could not breathe, likeit like it actually scared. I don't
know, Yeah, I have asthma. Unfortunately you got that asthma. There's
(38:06):
like a because you got asthma, you're welcome. You can use that tender
tender match. Yeah, there yougo. I don't know you had asthma
and that like after I don't knowif it's just for people of asthma that
happened, but I had asthma. My sister has asthma too, and we
(38:27):
were like we felt like we're aboutto die. Like I was like,
take me to the hospital because Ifeel like I'm gonna have to put something
like to cover my you'. Idon't know if it's gonna be where your
guys are going, but for us, you're gonna have to wear some hideous
gear. Way they give you stuffto wear. Yeah, you have to
wear like this helmet you have towear. So oh, bring your own
(38:49):
glass sunglasses so you don't have towear their glasses. Okay, that's good
to know, because I didn't,and it was just like, don't take
pictures of me, please, becauseit's Yeah. I had to wear like
kind of like a like a yourshare cap thing to like because you can't
have your hair back whatever. Ohmy god, this is stricter than I
thought. I'm over here thinking likewhat am I gonna wear? What cute
outfit am I gonna come? Oh? Yeah, and then have closed toes
shoes too because you can't. Ohyeah. I mean I figured it would
(39:13):
be like obviously covered up and anythinghappens, but I think I don't know.
I'm really scared. It's fun.It's not it's not scary. It's
actually really fun. I'm telling you, it's really fun. Okay, but
there's the stuff to have you wearjust for precaution. It's kind of ugly,
but it's fun. Okay. Becauselook, last time I went to
Yuma with my boyfriend, we werelike writing one of these things. I
(39:34):
don't know what it was. Ithink he said. He told me,
and I completely forgot. It's likea quad but for four oh for four
people? Yeah, oh okay,I think no, wait, it could
be it. I forgot exactly howit looked, but it wasn't for one
person. It wasn't for one personbecause we were sitting next to each other.
Oh yeah, then that's and hemade like the worst, like the
(40:00):
raziest turn ever, and I literallyalmost flew out of it. Oh my
gosh. I'm like, am Irisking my life going on these quad things?
But I do trust him more todrive than I trust myself to drive.
Really, yeah, So I you'regonna have it's so it's like running
(40:20):
like just pressed on the things. It's so fun. Okay, you'll get
used to it, like after acouple of minutes. Yeah, you're like,
oh shit, this is easy. It's like driving a car. Okay,
it's really cool. Okay, well, I'm excited for that. Then
and then I think there's some sortof family party happening this weekend. Ooh.
I don't know because I haven't gottenall the details, but there's probably
gonna be food and love for that, especially if it's tacos. But we'll
(40:43):
see if that's Saturday or Sunday. But I think that's pretty much it.
We'll see if hopefully I have timeto check out the Challengers movie, but
I don't know, probably not thatwill be I think that happens. But
yeah, I think that's that's aboutit. Yeah. Oh, sounds like
an eventful weekend for you. I'mexciting. I'm like I need sleep,
Yeah you do? Just what areyou going to take a time off or
(41:04):
like a break? Ever? Everytime? Just like going so and I'm
in my grave because I like,I just I look. Here's the thing
is, when something fun comes up, I'm like, oh my god,
that's so fun. Yeah I wantto do it. Yeah yeah. And
then when when that like day comesaround, I'm like, I'm so tired.
Why should I agree to this?Yep? I feel that all this
way, but then it's fun,so you're like, Okay, it was
(41:24):
worth it. Yeah, it wasworth not sleeping. I'm like, I'll
sleep when i'm fifty. Yeah, but yeah, that's pretty much it.
Yeah. Well so thanks for sharing. Yeah all right, guys, I
think it's about time for us toget there out of here. Yep.
We hope you enjoyed the rest ofyour weekends. See you next week on
(41:45):
