(00:00):
Welcome back to the Young and Inscriptedpodcast Happy Tuesdayoo today. Yes, I'm
cheaty and I'm just I don't know. I always forget about that. Today
we are going to be talking aboutI thought I had bad luck for a
(00:22):
quick second, but I think myluck is back. So I want to
discuss that. I know you didsome stuff over the weekend, so we'll
talk was outside a lot happened toyou this weekend. There is this thing
called to to to Experience that Iwant to get your thoughts on, and
I want to see if this issomething that you would try out. And
then you have an interesting question aboutcollege that you want us to discuss,
(00:45):
right, yeah, So we'll goover all of that really quick. So
I want to talk about how Ithink my luck changed for a little bit.
Okay, Look, I always feellike I've been very lucky. Things
will just happen to me, andit's always for the better. That's not
to say I don't have bad stuffhappened to me, but usually I win
(01:07):
raffles, I'll like win money.Oh that's nice. Sorry, Yeah,
No, random things will just happento me. Literally at a baby shower
once, I was like it wasthe last thing that people were gonna win,
and somebody joked about it being mebecause I was like, wow,
it has to be me. Nextthing, you know, they pull out
the thing and they just stare atme like you gotta be kidding me right
(01:30):
out, Yeah it was me.Wow, Like stuff like that. I'm
the opposite. Never had bad look. I mean never have good look.
I don't have like bad luck. But I'm never that lucky person that win
something a raffle or money. Likeit's never me and I just maybe because
I'm going to the mindset that I'mnot gonna win. So yeah, I
always go into the mindset of I'mgonna win, like oh yeah, yeah,
(01:53):
So I always when I buy aticket like for a raffle or something
I see, and I can thinkof multiple times there was a there was
a dinner that I won, likea raffle thing from where I bought tickets
for it. When I went toSanta Khan, I won the raffle there
at that day. The shower Iwon this past weekend, I went two
(02:15):
hundred and forty dollars at my family'slike ye little bend the lottery for us,
No, hey, the numbers whateversare you thinking of right now?
Let's see three one, nine, four seven. How many does it have
to be? Five zero two seven? Okay, I'm gonna play that.
So if anybody win, if youwin, though, I get a cut
(02:36):
of that about it. But Ithought my luck was done because so every
time I drive home to Selina's,there's this there's this man that I that
I drive by and he is askingfor many sometimes yeah, And I always
feel so bad because I don't reallycarry cash with me, and I always
(02:57):
want to give him something, butI don't have anything on me. So
the other day I was like, you know what, I don't know.
I just I felt like I neededto give him something because I just felt
like I did. Yeah, Andthe only cash that I had was a
two dollars bill that I had beengifted and that I had been carried in
the back of my phone. Yeah, I remember you. Yeah. So
I was like it was like aback and forth of like, you know,
(03:21):
do I do not do it?Yeah? And I'm like getting closer,
and I was like, you knowwhat, I'm just gonna do it.
You know what, God will likegift me with more, and and
I did it, right, whathappens the very next day, I almost
die on the quad with Reuben.Right. Oh, I was not expecting
it to go that way. Iwas like, oh, something good happened.
(03:43):
She got more money, I guess. So initially I thought of it
as like bad luck. But thenI was like, you know what,
that was a really bad accident andI did not get her at all.
Yeah, so I guess that wasdrive you anymore? Seriously, I don't
did I talk about the quad thingyou did? Okay? Okay, wait
(04:04):
on the podcast? No, okay, then go listen to the JV show
podcast from like think it was likelast minute almost died pretty much. It
almost died because Reuben flipped the quadthat we were on and we fell down
a hill and the quad came rollingdown. See when you said that,
you felt like I thought you justfell off the quad, Like I didn't
know that you guys like were tumblingdown. Yeah, and that is like
(04:27):
my one of my bigs. Like, it was so scary, and I
remember when you you were kind ofscared about that before you talked about it.
I was like, no, justyou're gonna be fine. I don't
not to meet you, no,because I didn't know you were going on
with the Ruben. I thought youwere driving yourself. I feel like driving
yourself is a lot more safer thangoing on with some especially on the back
of somebody. That's scary. Thatwas so scary, to be honest,
(04:48):
I don't even know how I wasable to like get off of it,
but I don't know. I feellike that traumatized me. Yeah, as
I should. If that was traumatizing, I'm like, I don't know how.
I was perfectly fine, thank god. Yeah after that because I have
never broken a bone in my bodyand I did not want it to be
(05:09):
then. Yeah, but yeah, after that happened, I was like,
oh my god, Like I startedkind of getting in my head and thinking,
maybe, like I'm not gonna havethat you know, good of a
look now that I gave away, because listen, I believe in like superstition
related things, right, Yeah,so the two dollar bill, I believe
that it was bringing me good luckand now yeah, I gifted you know.
(05:32):
Yeah, So it's like I thought, like, oh my god.
Literally the very next day after Igave my two dollars lucky two dollar bill
like away, like here, Iam almost fighting for my life, you
know. So I was a littleparanoid about that, but I think my
look is back because I want somemoney this weekend. And again I think
it I was pretty lucky with notgetting hurt. Yeah, during that like
(05:56):
accident or whatever, I did rememberthat you were like, it's gonna be
so much fun. You're gonna besupposed to everybody else on the JV show
agreed that it was gonna be somuch fun. That it is fun.
You just had a bad experience.Friends that were because they they actually saw
when it happened video. No,they I think it just happened too quick
(06:17):
like they they I think they wereabout to go to us to tell us
to go to like this other spot, and they literally were like, oh
my god. When we saw youguys tumbling down, we were like they're
dead. Oh my gosh. Didthey run up to you guys or they
see you like they did back up? No, So that's the thing is
we got up with the quickness andwe had to like put the Yeah,
(06:43):
because I was paranoid of having topay money. You haven't say I think
I went to the same because youwent to Pismo Beach. So I think
I went to the same. Idon't know. There's a lot of different
rental rental places there. But whenI went to Oh my gosh, I
want to charge three hundred dollars, that's the one. Yeah, if you
roll it over, yeah one.I think they put like a three hundred
holds onto it like your card andthen you pay for each. And I
(07:05):
was like, I'm paying five hundreddollars out of pocket just so I was
like, no, we're not doingthis. I didn't have doing it,
but I did go to one andwhat is it called Palm Beach, which
was so it was so much fun. But like I told you before,
you luck like I could not breathe, Like I don't know if that's I'm
like the only person that happened to. But it was super windy, so
(07:26):
maybe like with the wind and thesand and everything like combined and you have
gott Oh you know what, Ithink we did talk about this on the
podcast. I think we talked aboutyou going to the thing. Yeah.
But anyways, Yeah, my luckis back. Everybody worry two hundred and
fifty dollars next time, Jesz,I don't know, rub some good luck
(07:49):
on me please, I would loveto win somebody listen. I have tried
to pass on some of my goodluck to Reuben. Does not work.
Okay, well maybe it will workfor me. Okay, I'll try it.
I'll try with Reuben, try withme. Okay, let's talk about
your weekend. Oh my gosh,so your girl was outside. I haven't
been outside in a long time. And then I'm not gonna lie. I
(08:09):
realized, why don't go outside? It was like, oh, instant regret.
So this weekend I went to Blackfestout in Stanford. So it was
like this festival, We're like,oh, lot of black people. Anybody
goes. Larry June was performing andsome other artists Red Redville, Redville or
something like that. There was likea couple of performance going on, and
(08:30):
actually somebody from our sister station washosting it. And I was like,
oh my gosh. Yeah, sothat was really cool. But I went
with Okay, So first of all, it was supposed to be me and
when my friends from college we weresupposed to go together, and then our
other friend who is coming from lawho was there too, so us we're
supposed to go together. Oh mygosh. First of all, let me
(08:50):
tell you this, I love myfriends. I really do. But one
issue I have is when I makeplans with somebody and then last minute they
kind of changed to plans. Soit was supposed to be me and my
two friends that were going. Iwas like, fine, like my car.
I can trust them being in mycar because it's a little bit dirty
(09:11):
right now. So I was like, yeah, it's fine. But I
get to San Francisco and she tellsme, oh that the whole car is
going to be full, and Iwas like, what are you talking about?
So she invites other people were withoutasking me, and I was like
there. First of all, they'renot gonna offit my car, but I
just felt like I was just likeokay, whatever, like we'll just take
them. I was like, youcould have told me this while we were
(09:31):
planning to go to Blackfest, becauselike I could have brought another car.
I could have been like, okay, like clean my car a little bit.
My car is messy. That's notfor everybody to see, you know.
So I did tell her that waskind of like like very upset and
annoyed by that because I don't know, I feel like I had a right
to be. But anyways, wego to Blackfest, it's fun. I
don't know the other girls really.Oh no, I know them, but
(09:54):
like not okay on a talking basis, Like I don't text, I don't
even have their numbers. So itwas just like very awkward for me because
I'm in this group that I don'treally know too, and they all know
each other. They all know eachbecause they go to the same school,
like they're all on campus together andI'm I'm not here that much. So
like everything was fine, but likeother people that they knew kept coming up
(10:18):
from the school or like just theyknow everybody and I didn't, and I
was just like they're here the wholetime, like why did I come here?
Like I'm not having fun, LikeI don't know. I didn't even
get to drink really like that. Are they like being nice? No,
they were really really nice. It'sjust like I just feel as a personal
thing, like I get uncomfortable, but not uncomfortable, but I just get
(10:39):
really shy and like my anxiety justgoes through a roof when I'm around people
that I don't really know. Okay, Like when I first met you,
I didn't talk to you. Toyou, I was like, oh my
god, she hates me. I'mgonna talk to me at all. Yeah,
No, it takes me a minutewarm up. And then one time
like I can't stop talking to thisfriend, to you or to whoever.
(11:00):
So like it's just getting to knowpeople. It's just I get social anxiety
or whatever. I'm like, dang, this is why I don't go out,
But then like maybe I should goout more. So I don't have
that exact I think it'll help you, but yeah, it's it's interesting because
I feel like I did notice thatyou are quieter in the beginning, but
I feel like those that just seeyou interact with other people wouldn't think so.
(11:24):
Yeah, they would think like no, like you're just you're you interact
just fine with people. But Ithink it's that initial like yeah, that
where I'm just like do I needto meet your girl? I'll trying to.
Like there's times where I've actually stuckout of like parties or like other
places because I was just so uncomfortablein that setting. Yeah, I felt
really bad. One time it waslike my one of my best friends graduation
and like, I know like herpeople, but it was just so much
(11:48):
people I didn't know, and she, of course like she's sent her attention.
So she's like doing her own thing, meeting with other people, and
I'm just by myself. And Iliterally I think I just loved Like I
didn't even say that I felt sobad, but I was like my anxiety,
like I was just so anxious.Oh so I left, ye,
And I'm trying to work on that, but man, it is so hard,
you know what. I think doingthings on your own helps a lot,
(12:09):
because I feel like, but I'mfine with that. It's like interacting
with other people, Like I cango to a concert by myself, Like
I'll feel fine because I'm by myself, and like if somebody's nice to me,
then I'll like I think it's justlike group settings with other people are
grouped together. I don't know,Okay, I think I'm maybe like the
opposite or I don't know. Imean, I obviously have had times where
(12:33):
I am in a group and Ifeel like, oh my god, am
I like being Am I being weirdright now? Like am I trying too
hard? Or I don't know, like I get in my head about it,
but I think it doesn't show orlike I try to just I feel
like I can have a conversation withanybody really. Yeah, so that is
good. But then I will saysometimes when I am in certain situations,
(12:54):
I'm like, oh my god,why did I just say that, Like
I'm the most embarrassing person ever,And then oh my gosh, they probably
think I'm weird. I should shutup. Like with me, it's I'm
like, I'm fine with social Icould talk to you right in my head,
but in my head, I'm justso anxious and I don't know,
(13:15):
it's just I feel weird and Iwould rather exit out of that situation.
So do you feel like what whatdo you think like helps you with it?
Probably like alcohol substances. Other thanthat, I don't know. I
really I don't know. I've alwaysbeen like that, even in high school.
(13:37):
So it's just it. Yeah, like if there's a group of people
that I know and comfortable with, like if the whole JV show comes out,
goes out somewhere, like, I'mfine with that, like if I
know people, But if it's thenthat's understandable. If it's like with strangers,
yeah, oh I go so manystrangers almost like oh my gosh.
And then I also feel like Iget overstimulated because there's one time I was
at Costco this week and too,and when it goes to Costco, I
(14:00):
got three guys, that's my place, right, that's I love Costco.
I went to Costco and it wasjust like on a Sunday and it was
just so packed, is so busy, and I was like feeling myself like,
oh my god, there's so manypeople. They're walking slow, They're
all up in my bubble, likelike frustrated. Yeah, like like I
like stuff when it's like not alot of people, it helps me.
So yeah, well, then Ithink you might not be up for this
(14:24):
to to to Experience thing that Isaw. Is it a lot of people?
Have you heard about it? Solook, this is kind of like
a new way of meeting people. So I know you don't do too well
with strangers, but listen to this. So two to to Experience or to
to two dot place I think isthe website. It sounds like angel numbers
of things, So I guess youcan tie it to that because it's like
(14:48):
this group that curates social experiences forpeople who are willing to meet others.
Oh yeah, no, I'm out. And so so you take a personality
test, right, and based onthe personality test. They'll throw these events
where they'll invite people who they thinkthat you'll get along with, but they're
all strangers and you can take aplus one. I like that. Yeah,
(15:09):
So I think right now they onlydo this in LA but yeah,
boom, I know. But honestly, if they did this in the Bay
Area, I think it would beso fun because I believe they charge a
fee, but it's maybe like twentybucks. It's it's nothing, nothing too
crazy. It's a club. Yeah, they charge a fee, but then
they'll text you, like the location. It's always a public place. They'll
text you the location, and thenwhen you show up, they'll have you,
(15:31):
like, you know, seated ata dinner table with like other people
that they think. You imagine,I'll find the love of your life there.
Yeah, I think not even noteven just for that, but like
just to make new friends, likepeople that you maybe would have never encountered.
Yeah, had you not done somethinglike this. So I did think
that it was like really cool.It just I mean, it does kind
(15:52):
of like that. They only haveit in LA right now, but maybe
they'll, hopefully they'll expand it outhere in California. That'd be really cool.
Ellie is well, I mean, like all of California, I get
you, but I'm surprised you saidyes then after hearing that. Well,
because it said that you take atest and you go with your other like
personality type. So I think that'sbetter than because imagine like you're going with
(16:15):
a whole different personality type. LikeI feel that would be a no for
me, Like I cannot go withlike another personality that's too strong. But
I feel like that would make meeven more interesting. Oh my god.
Yeah. Okay, so cheety, you said you had a question that you
wanted to ask everyone. Yeah,So me and you both went to college.
(16:36):
So I want to know do youthink college is worth it? Yes,
for the experience, if you're notgonna be like spending too too much
money on it. But personally forme, I don't think I really am
putting it to any use, tobe honest. So what about you?
(16:56):
Okay, So I had a communicationsdegree. Do I think that was worth
it? No? I feel likeif I went to college, I could
have done a different degree. MaybeI would have gotten more experience out of
it. I also think because wework in radio, we don't need the
degree either. Obviously, getting aneducation is important, and I believe everybody
(17:18):
if they can to get one.But college costs a lot of money,
a lot of money, and me, right now, I am not using
that degree because I already had thisjob before I graduated college. I try
to get jobs after I graduated collegeand I have not been in luck.
So what degree would you have gonewith then instead of the one that you
(17:41):
went with? So if I wasreally smart, that's a great question.
I feel like that's why what acommunications degree? Because I don't know.
I feel like I would have donebusiness for sure, because I feel like
you use that for everything. Whoops, I messed up. Yeah, business
(18:04):
degree. I was thinking about gettinga master's in that right now too,
because okay, but people say businessdegree is just like a communications degree a
little bit really, but yeah,I don't know. They just they said
it's easy, and honestly, Itook like a business cost it's kind of
similar, but it does have todo a little bit more like economics and
(18:26):
stuff, but it's kind of it'skind of similar. See. I majored
in kinesiology because I wanted at thetime to be a physical therapist, which
I knew deep down I did notwant to be, but I still like
went with that, and I feellike I listened to a lot of what
other people would tell me at thetime of being like, you need to
(18:47):
get a real job and you needto, you know, get a job
that's gonna pay the bills, blahblah blah blah blah, which I get.
But I got that degree. Andas I was getting that degree,
like halfway through my a bachelor's degree, I was so miserable. And I'm
so much happier now, even thoughI'm not using it. I do think
(19:07):
that's why I think like the experiencewas worth it, because I feel like
I learned a lot about myself tendollars, you know. Thankfully, I
just went like I got financial aidand whatever I could use, and I
just went like straight and just didit all and didn't have to get like
(19:30):
loans, which I think is whathelped me out a lot because now I
don't really have to worry about that. But I I was it was rough.
I went through it in college becauseI was like what am I doing
with my life? But yeah,I say, if you know what you
want to do, go to college. Don't waste your time. If you
(19:52):
don't know what. If you don'tknow what to do, do not waste
your time and go because it's gonnaend up costing you a lot of time
and a lot of money for orwhat really see, I might have like
a different perspective on that because Ithink it helps you find what you want
to do. Maybe don't go likedirectly to a university if you can't,
(20:12):
if it's going to be too expensive, but at least go to like a
community college or try out different programs, because I do think that I feel
like there's something out there for everybody, and I think it does take a
little while to explore that because Inever would have thought that I would be
doing anything like this with radio,to be honest. But that's my question,
(20:33):
because did you do radio like infor college, Like did you go
have like a radio class or didyou do an internship first or did it
just happen to be something you stumbledupon, Because I feel like that happens
a lot in the radio industry. We just stumble upon it and it's not
something that I mean, some peopledo go to school for radio, but
yeah, I feel like our situationwas a little bit different. It was
(20:56):
a little different because for me,it was more more of my love for
music and concerts and just personally listeningto the to a radio station, like
my local radio station. That sparkedthat interest and sparked like my curiosity with
wanting to pursue radio in the firstplace. So I think when I started
(21:18):
in radio, I was about tograduate from college. So yeah, I
think maybe it was like my junioror senior year. It was the end
of twenty sixteen, and I graduatedin May of twenty seventeen, so yeah,
I started like maybe like a couplemonths before graduating college in radio.
(21:41):
But again, even when I startedin radio, I didn't know that this
was something that I was gonna fullypursue because I obviously started like with,
you know, just doing events, which is a lot different than kind of
what we do now. It's similarand it's something that we still do.
But at that moment, I wasworking at the radio station, I was
(22:04):
working at a doctor's office, andI think I was working at a gym
too, so I had like that. No, I was like just trying
to like make money where I couldmake money and trying to figure out what
I even wanted because I think it'sit's it's tough to decide what you want
to do at such a young age. Yeah, so I completely agree,
(22:26):
And that's why I say, like, if you know what you're doing,
go to college, because like youhave, you already know what you kind
of want in life. I mean, obviously it can change later on,
but for me, I like ittook me. I still don't even know
exactly Like I like my job obviously, yeah, but for a while,
it took me a long time tofigure out what I wanted to do in
life. And I feel like whenI went into college, I went straight
(22:49):
out of high school and I wasjust stuck, like I did not know
what I want to do. AndI know that you can like dibble dabble
in like other careers stuff, butI never like put my foot in the
radio industry, like you know whatI mean, So I don't. I
mean for everybody, it's different, but I just feel like you need to
(23:10):
get some like outside experience first tofigure out what you want to do,
and then go to college because althoughcollege is fun, you do have a
lot of experience, it will beI feel like a waste of money if
you don't figure out what you wantto do, and because sometimes people drop
out after their freshman year of college, and so do you kind of wish
(23:30):
that you had not gone to likea university. Did you go straight out
of high school? Yeah? Somy okay, so this is my story.
I went straight out of high school. I stayed there for a year
my freshman year, but I justdidn't have the best experience and whatever,
so I dropped out then. AndI didn't know what I wanted to do,
(23:52):
so I took a couple of yearsoff to figure it out, and
then I went back to community collegeand then transferred over to s F State.
Okay, so that was my experienceto what I wish I had done
was gone to a community college first, because you could take several classes,
it doesn't cost that much money, and you can see what kind of career
you want. And also sometimes Ifeel like people realize that they don't like
(24:15):
their career they want doesn't necessarily necessarilyhave to be with college. It could
be like with trade school or somethinglike that. Yeah, So I think,
especially now, there are so manyjobs that a lot of people get
without actually needing that degree. It'slike you kind of sometimes have to rely
on connections and just being at theright place at the right time. Yeah,
(24:38):
I agree. And also nowadays forsome reason, you need more than
just like a bachelor's degree, Likeit's all about connections. I feel like
now like you need to know somebodyin the field. Of course, it's
good to have a bachelor's degree ora master's degree, but as long as
you know the skill set, Ifeel like you just need to know somebody
and know the skill set. Yeah, because there's some people who got jobs
(25:03):
and it's a totally different field andI'm just like, Okay, it's like
how did you get there? Yeah? Literally, but yeah, I think
that's well. Let us let's letus know do you think college is worth
it? If you went to college, let us know if you thought it
was worth it. So your finalthoughts are that it is or isn't work.
(25:26):
I'm confused. I think I'm inthe middle. I think it like
it's so hard. I feel likeit's so hard to say. But if
you know what you want to do, it's worth it. It depends on
what field you're going into. Ifit's like something with like broadcasting or like
oh, but then you can getlike internships and stuff. So yeah,
Okay, I'm gonna say it's worthit. I think it's worth it too.
(25:47):
It's worth it to pursue any sortof like I don't know, a
thing that's gonna make you or helpyou and learn something, and like,
yeah, invest in your future.I think, you know, if you
don't want to go straight to university, it's good to try out a community
college. It's good to try out. There's so many different programs that are
out there for you know, certaincareers that you might only need a certification
(26:11):
for. But maybe like don't don'tjust I don't know, don't be so
hard on yourself if it's something thatyou really don't want to do and don't
do it for others. Yeah,But then that's also hard to say because
I know that when you're getting outof high school, obviously your parents are
gonna push you to go to collegebecause they want the best for you.
(26:33):
But is college always the best foryou? I don't know, it's for
you to decide. So yeah,if you're if you don't know what to
do right now and you're thinking ifcollege is worth it, just try community
college first. That would be myadvice, just because it's a cheaper option,
or you could take a break, take a year break, and then
go to college and see if that'syou. See now, Okay, I
(26:55):
don't know about the break only becauseI, oh, this is just for
me though, because I feel likeif I would have taken a break,
I don't know that I would havegone back. I think it's tough for
you need more discipline to go backright after high school. Though. Yeah,
I think if you take a breakright after high well, and again
(27:15):
I'm saying this for me, Ithink I would be like so out of
it for so long that I don'tthink I would want to go back.
I know somebody who after high schoolthey kind of didn't do anything for a
long time, but now they're gettingtheir nursing degree. Oh so it's like
and there, I think I havea community college getting there a degree nursing.
So honestly, it's just up touse. Who you are works for
(27:37):
you. Yeah, and this isyour life, so take the time.
Listen, you can always go tocollege at any time. College has no
age limit. Well yeah, Idon't think college has Like you could be
at whatever age is still get yourdegree. It does not matter. But
yeah, just make sure you're smartabout your decision, because again, college
is not cheap. I mean, unless you're like really, if you're really
(28:02):
smart and you get scholarships, goto college. Like there should be like
that that's not a college. Yeah, you're not a pay but if you
are paid, just be mindful andjust be smart about your decision and don't
take college for granted if you aregoing. Yes, Honestly, that's a
good point because I feel like, and this is talking about like school work,
(28:22):
but also talking about like the funpart of college, because again,
like that's the thing is college isan experience. So I do think it's
an experience that a lot of peoplemiss out on if they don't go.
And I know that obviously college isexpensive, so it's not an experience that
everybody is lucky to have. ButI think, you know, just the
(28:45):
people that you meet, the experiencesthat you have in college are at least
for me, they were worth it. Am I doing anything with my degree?
No? But at least I,you know, met some cool people
and like, you know, itgot me out of my shell because I
feel like I was really shy upuntil college came around. I started to
learn more about myself and just reallylike being myself. Yeah that makes sense.
(29:06):
Yeah, yeah, I would saythe same thing too. When I
went to college, I made ita point to like go to all the
clubs and uh no not club clubslike close on campus. I bet you
meant like go to go party thattoo, trust me, I was doing
that too. But I was madeit a point to be very involved with
(29:26):
the campus community. So knock myglasses off my head. That goes to
clubs, you know, the atwe were out here at City Knights because
we were old enough to go tothe real clubs. But everybody's been to
City Knights. Yeah, you can't. Can't bash it. But I would
(29:48):
say, what was it? Idon't know. I think we've said enough.
Yeah. The experience is great though. You you get Oh you also
learn how to live with people.Man. That was a big lesson for
me is living with other people, other girls. Oh see I was.
I would just commute because I wasonly twenty minutes away. Okay, that's
(30:11):
fair. Yeah, I wanted tolive in the dorms so bad, but
it just would have been like soexpensive. Yeah yeah, I did that,
and I'd love the even though itwas only like an hour away.
I love not living back home, like I felt like I was finally free.
But yeah, it was. It'soverall fun experience. I think the
best thing about college is that theconnections you make with other people because other
(30:33):
people are around the world are comingto that college. My I guess my
advice to you is research that collegeto the best of your ability, because
sometimes, like I went to collegeI did not like and that's why I
dropped out the first semester I wentto Kelsey East Bay. Was it my
favorite college? Then I went toState, So I mean much difference.
But if I could go back andredo my college experience, I would definitely
(30:55):
pick a college maybe out of stateor like get a whole different experience at
more of a non commuter school.Okay, well, I think that's Those
are all the thoughts that I haveabout college. I feel like we we
went like back and forth. Idon't know if we contradicted ourselves throughout this,
but I mean we did, butwe did decide that go to college.
(31:18):
Go to college. Don't do drudon't do drunk status Dr Santaol,
don't do drug, stay in schooldrugs. Don't do kids. Yeah,
don't do kids. Do not dokids. I think we're done. Yeah,
okay, bye bye
