(00:00):
Welcome back to the Young and UnscriptedPodcast Thursday. Oh my gosh, I
want it to be Friday and theweekend already. But tomorrow. Yes,
what's going on? I'm Cheaty andI'm Jess. Yeah, and what do
we have today? It's gonna bea short podcast, yes, because we're
trying to get GTFO. We've wasteda little bit of time race now a
(00:20):
lot of time actually pretty bad.I was going through TikTok for like thirty
minutes. It was really bad.Okay, so should we So I know
there's a lot of new shows comingout, so I want to talk about
some of the shows that are,you know, making its way like this
summer. Also, we want totalk about your weekend because your birthday was
yesterday. Yeah, so we knowyou got more plans because you know,
(00:42):
you celebrate your birthday for like thewhole month, right pretty much? And
then yeah, they just go onfrom there. Okay, yeah, so
shows. Yeah, So there's acouple of shows I'm really excited about.
So it was just announced that thesummer I turned pretty it's going for season
three. They're filming right now.I'm so excited because I I binge watched
the show when I was in Nigeria, because I don't know. I just
(01:03):
found it and I was like, okay, let me just download all these
all these shows, and I lovedit, and I was so sad that
when I started the show there wasno season three yet, and I was
like, I'm late. I'm alittle late to the party. So I
wasn't there when it came out,but I was like, Oh my gosh,
I need more. I need more. So now that is coming out,
I'm so excited. I'm team Conrad. So when is that coming out?
(01:25):
I don't know yet, probably lateron after the summer because I film
me right now, that's what I'msuggesting. I'm thinking, Oh dang,
that sucks. I hate waiting. But I'm so glad they're finally filming me
because at first I was like,oh my gosh, like's it gonna happen
this year or is that they're gonnawait till next year? Because you know,
there's a Wrider's block, so that'swhy there was like a big goal.
But now that they're yeah, soyeah, I'm excited for that.
(01:46):
Also, another show that I'm kindof obsessed with, well, I'm obsessed
with the show that kind of isassociated with this show. Okay, So
Bridgerton three season three is coming out, which I'm excited for. I have
not watched Bridgerton one or two yet, which I'm planning to do. Wait,
wait, what, So I watchedQueen the Queen Charlotte. So Queen
Charlotte is like associated with the Bridgertonseries, like it's a spin off pretty
(02:08):
much. So I love that showand I'm planning to watch the Bridgerton series
this weekend. But I'm still excitedbecause I watched part of it when my
aunt and like my cousins were watchingit, and it was like a pretty
good show from what I saw.So I'm really excited about that. And
so season three, do we knowwhen that's coming out? Did you say?
Yes? It was like May,there was one coming out in May.
(02:30):
I forgot the date May, andthen June. Part two is in
June. So we're getting fed soexcited, we're getting fed. She's starving,
starving for shows. You know,I'm not a show watcher, Like
I don't every time I joke like, you know, I go home,
you really are not. So whenit comes to the show that I like,
I'm like obsessed with it, andI know what I will be.
I need to vent about that rightnow because I will be like cheety,
(02:52):
Oh my god, have you caughtup on this line? Like, please
tell me, like the juice, the juice was hot? I mean the
he was hot? Sounds nasty, hatty sounds good? No hot juice?
Juice is apple cider? Is thata juice? I know? Oh right,
what is it a cider? Yeah? What is a cider? That
(03:14):
is a good question. We'll comeback to that. I'll be like,
Gid, have you caught up?And she's like or she's like, yeah,
I just watched the last two episodes. I didn't watch the whole beginning,
and I'm like, how do youmiss the whole beginning? The way
that I watched stuff is like Iwatched like maybe it's like the beginning part,
(03:34):
like the first episode, and thenI watched the last couple of episodes
because I don't care what happened ifit's tweet, I just want to know
what happens at the end. Iknow I have a problem. I'm trying
to work on it. I don'tknow what it is. Maybe it's my
ADHD. I don't know what itis, but your attention span, your
life. It's so bad. Iwant to get to the end, and
TikTok just makes it worse, Iswear. Yeah, but yeah, so
(03:57):
so there's also American Horror Story Parttwo, right, yes, are you
watching? You're gonna watch it?So I watched part one. I think
I remember for the most part, like what happened, and I do need
like a little trailer pressure. ButI hate when shows do that. Don't
don't have me waiting for this longwhen it's just a part two. If
(04:18):
it's another season, great, sure, go ahead. But if it's just
a part two, which I guess, it's kind of the same thing as
the season in a way. Iguess so, but it's different and different.
Yeah, so it's the same storyline, like it's well, I guess
season is just like that too,Yeah, because I do leave you.
But then why do they call itpart two? Well that American Horror Stories
(04:38):
isn't like each season is based onsomething different each season. Yes, so
maybe that's why, oh you,it's not like, yeah, oh look
at me, look at her. There is something in that head of yours.
There is, So when is thatcoming out? That's a weird question.
I know we've talked about it onthe J Show because you asked Selena
(05:00):
and Selena told you. But Ithink she might have said April May.
Maybe April. I don't know.I honestly don't watch American hor stores because
it actually scares me. Really, yeah, it really does. I think
I watched the one with like theclown serial killer or something like that,
and I was terrified. There aresome like really creepy ones. I was
like, I don't think I cango to sleep tonight, Like I'm actually
very scared. I hate horror movies. It's movies. I do want to
(05:25):
watch Part two though, when itdoes come out. So when you watch
these movies or shows, do youwatch them during the day or do you
watch them at night? Can youwatch them at night? Mm? It
depends on what it's about. Evenif they're just creepy and not scary,
sometimes I don't want to watch themat night because then I feel like a
little bit uneasy going to sleep. Now that I live alone, like sleep
(05:46):
with the door open like a personI do not judge my aug so I
sleep with the door open for thosethat don't know. But no now because
of cheaty, because I just feelSee this makes no sense, but yeah,
I can't go back anymore. ButI feel safe for knowing that I
(06:10):
can see the main door. Thatis so because like I just feel with
somebody ever like they're not gonna comein. But if anybody like happened to
come in right like they're just gonnasay, why door wide open? You
won't even be able to hear themopen your door? You got your door's
already open. Scares me more likewhy, I don't know, like if
(06:30):
somebody, if you hear something, you could like lock your door and then
I don't go outside your window orsomething. But if your door's open,
timbe gonna hide in your closet belike, oh, no one's home.
Yeah, But I don't know.I just I just I guess what scares
me is thinking like if I dohear a noise, right yeah, and
let's say somebody did break in,and I go check and I open the
(06:54):
door and they're just right there standingin front like that just for some reason.
Check. You're never supposed to goand check. But you know,
if you hear something, you're like, oh what full like no, no
locking my door and I don't I'llthink I'll figure that out in the morning.
But I have a little kiddy,so I feel like I'm sorry,
but no, no. But forme, I'm like, if something falls
(07:14):
or something makes a noise, Iautomatically assume that she like drops something or
she's like so then I go checkon her because I want to make sure.
Are you ever like paranoid? No, because I have so I'm not
paranoid. Now, I'm not paranoidbecause I can see. I can see
everything, So if I do heara noise, I'll like, you know,
put the volume down on my TV. And I'm just like staring at
the door to see if the mainmain door to see if, like,
(07:39):
is you that anybody's just gonna walkthrough? Yeah? And look, this
wasn't me when I lived with myparents, I would obviously like close my
door. I have this start?Did you Just the way it started is
I just left it open because itjust felt weird being in a really empty
room when I first moved in,so I just left it open, and
(08:01):
from there like it just I justwould always leave it open. And now
even more so because again I havea little kitty and her litter boxes isn't
in my room, so I can'tlock the door on her because then she'll
wake me up anytime she needs togo to the bathroom. So you don't
get pets because she has changed mylife. And I question, do you
at least have like a knife orlike something underneath your pillow? Like nothing,
(08:26):
chess, You're just out here rawtalking life life for real. Look,
I have nothing, nothing but pillows, but a bunch of pillows next
to me. I guess that couldwork. Just tosh your cat literally bubble
(08:46):
get them bubbles are just like bonand then run away. Yeah. I
have no like defense mechanisms, whichactually I probably should not be admitting to
the public. Well, now nowI'm gonna now, I'm gonna go get
I have a taser for you.Actually I do have pepper spray. Okay,
yeah that would work. So yeah, that would works. At least
(09:09):
that's something. And then but alsoand also my front door is really really
heavy, so that thing is heavy. Oh my god, Yeah, I
dare you. I did try.I don't dare I did try it.
That's how I came out. Ithink, Yeah, that's whoa, whoa,
whoa, whoa. That's a heavydoor. So IVI you like,
Okay, Jeff struggles with the doorshere. Okay, so I'm just wondering
(09:31):
how she's able to open those doors. Doors. Only struggle with these doors
because they get stuck so much.Every day she like tries to pull when
it's pushed, and every day Ijust I just sit there and just watch
and sit there. I stand thereand just watch her. She takes to
see that is look these these doors. They're clear doors, and they have
no like they have a handle onboth sides and they don't have But she's
(09:54):
been working here for almost a yearnow, Guys, this she's been passing
the doors building do this same thing. Not as much as you do.
It's like every time. That's becauseI don't go through those doors every day.
We almost do, like when welie. It's anyways, it's so
funny saying chess, Like, ohmy gosh. One time, me and
my friend were going to we're watchinga movie at a movie theater and there
(10:18):
is like the whole so our moviemovie theater, I'm fearful is connected to
the mall, so people go inand out to the mall and there's like
these huge doors that are glass. One time my friend and I like,
I love her to death. Wewere walking and she wasn't paying attention and
then she smacks into the door, like the glass. No, it was
(10:43):
like, oh my gosh, ohmy funniest thing ever you run into the
door. But yeah, that islike worst not worse fear, because I
have worse. What is your worstfear? Oh my gosh, we're getting
deep, yeah we are. Letme see. Well, obviously, my
(11:03):
worst worst worst fear is like everyone'swell not everyone's fear, but like a
lot of people's fear of like losingfamily members. Okay, that's like my
worst worst fere. If it's nothinglike that, then I really don't like
snakes. Oh and I really don'tlike I can't think of anything else.
Well, I hate roller coasters,so I'm not okay. So this is
(11:28):
a story. When I was younger, when I was used to live in
Seattle my family, there was likethis amusement park that used to go to
all the time. I loved it. And one time I went on a
roller coaster with my friend. However, we got like broken up and like
she went on one like a coupleof roles before me, Like you're broken
up with at the Oh that wouldsuck. That would be right right when
you're about to the roller coaster.Yeah, that would be terrible. But
(11:50):
she was. She got to seebefore me, and I was like in
the back, it's like, ohno, I want to sit with her.
So I went to like get out, but they were about to start
the ride, so I shed SoI shed it and they didn't check it
again. Well it's my fault becauseI lifted it up and then the roller
started going. It wasn't like anupside down one, but it was I
think, and I that just isstill the fair in me of roller coasters.
So the I guess the yeah, the bar, oh my, it
(12:13):
wasn't. It wasn't like secured,No, because I opened it as my
phone. I was like six yearsold, and that I would have yelled
fair of mine. Wow. Well, when I was young, my I
went to the fair with my cousinsand my uncle and it was all boys
(12:33):
and just me. And I feellike my uncle forgot that I was there
and he left me at the fair? Did he? Oh? So?
So I had I had more familythere at the fair, So little me,
being smart, I was like, let me go find the rest of
my family. Think was this fair? It was the fair and Selinas so
(12:56):
a little kit, a little kitWow, the shade to a little kid,
like the fair felt like huge. And it was because I, like,
we all stopped to look at theferris wheel, but I just stayed
there longer and I was just staringat and shoying my time as a child,
admiring this crazy contraption that they haveat the fair and anything. You
(13:18):
know is were you with maybe likethree of my guy cousins. Okay,
so that is not enough for themto like actually forget you. I mean
maybe maybe I don't remember, butmaybe I just they weren't used to like
me going with them all the time. Yeah, but and I don't remember
the story super clearly, but Ithink they I don't know if my mom
(13:41):
called my uncle or something happened wheremy mom was like, where's my daughter?
Yeah, and he and they werelike, oh my god, we
need to go back. Oh no, you know what it was when I
went to go find my family. So I had my uncle call because I
was like, they just left mehere. That's insane. I'm so sorry.
Yes, I'm sorry they put youthrough, you know, but I
think that trauma has really led meto all of the hardships that I've had
(14:05):
throughout my life. Definitely. Youknow, I'm so glad that we could
talk about this. Yeah, thankyou. I think I've been holding it
on, holding on, holding iton. Hold hold. This laughter that
you hear is out of pain, and I've been holding on to it for
so long. I're so brave.Yeah. So anytime that I see a
(14:26):
fair now, it just brings backthose memories of trauma, and and I
can never look at it first feelthe same yeah ever again, And I
never will because then I have thefear that I'm just gonna get lost behind.
Yeah, left behind. Wow.That is so sad. Wow,
But you know what, we willmove past this. We will move on.
We will move on. I believeit. Yeah, thank you.
(14:50):
So if anybody out there is listeningand they're having a bad day, just
remember that at least at least youdidn't get left at the fair by her
own family, by my own family. Maybe they did that on purpose.
Maybe this is the time to leaveon knowing or whatever. Yeah for real,
Okay, you don't have to agreewith that. I'm sorry. I
was just you know, embody whatthey would have you. Thank you.
(15:13):
You're welcome. You're so you know, Jesse, was your birthday? Oh
yeah, yesterday, Happy birthday,Thank you, thank you. I was
it was nice. So we wentto check out a restaurant in Samonteo.
Can you tell us what your boyfrienddid? So, I'm gonna go into
more detail tomorrow on the JV show. So listen to the JV Show tomorrow
(15:33):
morning. Yeah, we might talkabout it. Be here tomorrow or here
too on Monday. Be here bothdays. Yeah, okay, yeah,
yeah, tell us about your Soit was. It was a really nice
restaurant. I liked it. It'scalled Floris. And okay, this is
gonna sound really bad, but whatis flores floris in Spanish? Well,
(15:58):
floris is the word for flowers.Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
okay, I don't think that madesense the way I said it. But
floortis is, in span the Spanishword for flowers. Okay, I thought
so, but then I was likeI wasn't sure. Yeah, so thank
you for clear. And that justso happens to be Ruben's last name as
well. Yeah, but they didhave a drink on the menu that looked
(16:19):
so good. It was called dulinand well, I don't know because I
ordered it, and they were like, oh, we're actually not making that
one right now, And I waslike, Okay, I guess I'll go
with my second choice. But Ithink that one was gonna be really good
because it had chocolate Bailey's Yeah, why don't you try to remake it?
Because I know you and you guyswere doing like, uh, what happened
(16:42):
to that you guys were doing stufflike every weekend. Yeah, Well,
one is we're trying to be inlike saving mode a little bit more,
and sometimes we get a little carriedaway with what we do on the weekend.
So then we're like, do wereally want to go and spend a
bunch of money on like more alcoholand you ingradient your alcohol on bar,
your bar, you have a lotof alcohol in there. Just thanks for
(17:06):
letting the world know I have itthere because I don't drink it. No,
uh no. But the other thingwas we were also like, Okay,
we need to kind of slow itdown because we've been like drinking every
weekend, like it's been a littletoo much. So I feel like we've
taken a little bit of a breakfrom that, but we probably will resume
because we do have a book fullof like little recipes I want to do
(17:29):
what I want to do, theones where you know, with your friends
and then you make drinks like eitherlike based on your job or based on
like your you know, your yourtype, uh huh, or like just
anything. I really want to dothat, but I know my drink would
just look terrible and taste pretty bad, because really, yeah, I just
doesn't work out for me. ButI think the idea is so cute,
and I do too. Yeah, okay, I think we should do something
(17:52):
like we should yeah okay, cool, but maybe maybe we just look for
like some cute recipes or something.Yeah, I think that way we can
that way because I might need helpor like that we can help each other.
But yeah, that was the foodwas really good. I still have
some leftovers. So what do yourecommend? Do you what you got?
(18:14):
Do you recommend for other people totry? Yes, it was I think
that the name of it was justkasada, which is just like, okay,
you not like me. But theplate had potatoes, It had these
things, so how do I explainthem? So they're called rajas or like
rahitas, like rajas the and soit's kind of like a pepper. But
(18:40):
it's cut into like little like littlestrips, and then it has like some
sort of grima like cream on it, and then corn and what else and
onions. So so that is itsown thing. So it's called like,
oh my god, it's so good, and my mom makes it so that
(19:03):
reminded me of pastes. It tastesreally good, okay, okay, And
then what else was on the plate. Well, obviously the meat, the
meat the main thing, and Idon't remember what else was on there,
but it was really good. Oh, Ruben got me a cu rig.
So now I can make fresh waterthat right now. So I told Ge,
(19:27):
like, I'm gonna be drinking morewater now and blah blah blah blah
blah. But so what have youbeen like drinking out of? What do
you mean? Like, no,you're thinking a filter? Yeah no,
no, no, you're like freshwater? What do you mean? I
(19:48):
thought you meant me because I hadsaid I was gonna be drinking more water.
So I'm like, yeah, here, I'm gonna be no no,
no, no, are you okayobviously not? No? So ok so
you can make coffee, yeah, like teas or you know whatever, because
(20:17):
sorry, yeah, So whatever wasin the brain is gone. Whatever it
was in your brain like fifteen minutesago, it's not there anymore. Like
oh yeah, okay, Brenda Filter'slike, that's okay, okay, we
should talk about this on the JimmieShow. Because the way that grant me
buying presents for his wife, likea spatial we have to rub it because
(20:41):
of filters. No no, no, no no, no, okay,
no is nice. I love thatgood job. So I'm excited because I
want to set up like a youknow how I have my little bar station,
but I want to set up acoffee station, you know, barista,
bartender, painter, entrepreneur. Notreally, but we can throw that
(21:06):
one in there too. Social mediaand social media content creator, digital marketing
period. Okay, that's enough. That is enough. Please forget we said
all of that, any of that. But what else? Oh yeah,
so he got me a crig Soso I'm gonna be making whipping up some
(21:30):
cooffees. Uh oh, he gotme some cute new workout pants and shorts
because you know, I am tryingto era. I'm in my gym era
and I want to look cute whileI'm at it. So and there these
are like certain brands that I hadn'ttried before, but I have been wanting
to. There's one called like Navigationand Stuff that's I saw a lot of
(21:55):
people talking about it because it's kindof like a brand that is compared to
I think, like Sharkers. Okay, so I've been wanting to try it
because even one of my friends wastelling me that that's a good brand,
a good brand that she liked. And then I forgot the other two brands.
But that's okay, but they're reallycute and I can't wait to wear
them. And then, uh,the other gift was I had been this
(22:17):
is don't judge me, but Ihad been wanting this pillow that I saw
on Instagram. Should see the lookI just gave the wall right now because
a pillow. But it's like,how do I explain it? It's like
a memory film one? No,is it like a animal? Yeah?
Oh my god, let's just say. Look, I am getting older,
(22:38):
but I'm a child that heart. It's like a turtle shell pillow where you
like put it, you put iton and then it's kind of like a
shell on your back that way ofyour last If I'm sitting there like watching
my shows or something. No,not, so it's like it's like comfy
on your back. Okay, butdoes it have like a turtlesh Yeah,
(23:00):
so I will look like a turtle. But I like, well, I
mean, but it'll be so comfywhen I'm like sitting there, so you
know what, I'm not even I'mnot an embarrassed. Can you take a
picture? You know, I wantto see it. I will not be
taking a picture of it. Butit's like a turtle pillow type thing.
And I can't wait to watch myshow and put that on because look,
(23:21):
I'm getting older over here, myback like it Nagie used to be.
I just walked in here today.I'm so tired. I don't know it's
because my age. You know,I'm older now and I got to think
about my joints and my back andmy and yeah. Yeah, so thank
(23:41):
you to my boyfriend for my giftsbecause they were really cute. And fresh
water. Yeah he did not getme a water filter. Let's clarify that.
Yeah, I was like, whydid she say fresh water? Did
she say that because I mentioned Iwant to drink more water? Like but
(24:03):
not a thought between these eyes orbehind these eyes? Okay, Anyways,
I know you're doing some stuff forthis Yeah, the weekend, I'm just
gonna see what comes up with somefriends. I do want to do something
a little bit more low key becauseI want to spend some time with my
family and then I want to spendsome time with friends. But we might
just get together at one of ourfriend's house and just like have a couple
(24:26):
of drinks, no, something chill. Yeah, isn't that crazy? Like
I don't know, like a couple. What before COVID hit, I was
like twenty two and I was goingto the clubs for my birthday. Yeah,
I was like going out. Andnow like it's only been what four
years since COVID has started or it'syeah, it was twenty twenty yeah literally
(24:47):
almost exactly because it was March twelve. Yeah, and now what do you
plan to do for your ply off? Say, go to dinner? Yeah,
down a little bit. It's crazy. Times have changed. Times have
changed, and I feel like Iwas robbed of like three years because of
COVIDE, and I feel like, okay, so I feel because of COVID
and the years that we were robbed, I don't feel my actual age.
(25:11):
I can't forgetting that I'm twenty sixbecause in between those years, I was
just twenty two when COVID happened, like you know, and it took so
many of my birthdays and years away. And then granted, like, I'm
so glad to be here because obviouslya lot of people like you know,
COVID was not the best time.Yeah, and like COVID was crazy,
but it's just like, man, like, I know, I just feel
bad for even like college students whodidn't get prom or graduation, Like it's
(25:36):
just I wish we got those daysback. But isn't it crazy to think
about it now? Because when wewere like living through those times, it
was like when is this gonnapen?I mean and granted it's not really like
and did you ever work? Butwhen is like the lockdown going to end?
And when is like forever? Andespressally during that time, that's when
I got laid off here from onthe street team, and I was like,
(25:59):
oh my gosh, like when canwe go back to work? When
could we like I really want towork here, And it was just like
felt like for for zoom class, but I'm not gonna lie. I think
the only thing I loved about COVIDis a zoom classes because I would just
roll over really and start my meetinglike still in bed, not change.
It was amazing. I love that'sI love that. Don't get me wrong.
(26:22):
Though I did miss the interaction withpeople. Yeah I did too.
Yeah, it was it was nice. Not I saved a lot of money
those years. I didn't guess itwas so cheap, even though I still
had to go to work, likeduring COVID time. Yeah, I worked
at a coffee shop at Dutch Bros. So they didn't close down. We
were essentral. Then I worked ata at Newport Healthcare, which was like
(26:44):
a health facility, so they werenever closing. They never closed their open
like twenty four seven. So Ihad to go to work, and I
just I was very sad. Everybodywas living off. They was a called
their unemployment checks because they ready gotlaid off and they were living their best
life. Like dam what if Igot fire right now? And she's slaving
away. Literally everybody's over here buyingwhat's that? Where? What's that?
(27:06):
Drake? It was like one hundredand like ninety dollars or something like that.
It was Don Julio ninety two.Everybody's everybody's Instagram story was that.
I was like, really really,Oh, you're trying to play for my
money and y'all are just spending iton Don Julio. Yeah that those days.
Yeah, yeah, I remember sobecause it started March twelve, like
(27:30):

use only this studio. Yeah.Tried to Showpis because he kept me sane
