(00:00):
Welcome back to the Young and Unscriptedpodcast. Oh Happy Tuesday. Do we
want to say why we didn't recorda podcast last Thursday? I mean we
can. I just totally forgot whyOh no, I remember? Yeah,
Okay, so you guys, thisis the crazy thing I've ever seen in
my life or heard about in mylife. I don't know what happened,
(00:21):
but for some reason, they likeblocked the Bay Bridge. Okay, a
couple of lanes. I don't knowif there's I think it was an accident,
but anyways, instead it's gonna takeme on an hour and twenty two
minutes to get home. And Itold Jess, like, if I don't
leave now, that traffic is gonnaget watcher. So yeah, I just
(00:42):
had to dip out really fast inorder to be home at a reasonable amount
of time. So that's why wedidn't do a podcast on Thursday. And
did you were you able to seelike the accident was? No, I
went a whole different way. Sothe Bay Bridge was like like even when
I pulled out of like our street, ye look where our job is,
Like, there was like cars likebacking up, like they couldn't even get
(01:03):
onto the freeway. So I justlike just went around and then I had
to go through the whole city togo across the Golden gate Bridge. Like
it was a thirty Like I wasin the city for like thirty minutes,
like driving in the city, andthen I went to the Golden gate Bridge
and then I went to Highway atthirty seven I think, which is like
a one way on both sides,so it's like, well, it's two
(01:26):
ways and then goes to one way. So sometimes the traff can get backed
up there too. That's why Ihad to go leave really early, because
if I didn't like people, itstarts getting backed up. So I was
like, let me go, letme go. But yeah, I didn't
see what actually happened, but Iknew that for some reason. I think
there was something involving bricks. Idon't know. Yeah, on my on
(01:47):
my maps thaying it said two accidents. Oh wow, So I don't know
what happened. Maybe people just putthat on. Yeah, so let's talk
about the eclipse. Yeah, soobviously the eclipse was yesterday and as a
whole I don't know why, buttwenty seventeen, I don't remember the eclipse.
I don't even remember it happening.I don't remember either in twenty seventeen
and I was very much here,so I don't know why I didn't realize
(02:09):
it was there, But there waslike so much commotion about this one,
which was like really really fun.Me and Jess actually got to see the
whole eclipse. It's partial. Yeah, it was super cool. So at
first, like I kind of wantedto see it, but I knew me
have I didn't order glasses, andtimes I was like, ah, I'm
just gonna have to like look out, and I was like watching it on
(02:30):
our computer screen in the office. And then we were leaving. One of
our co coworker or one of thepeople who worked in our office, she
had like a whole carton of likeof glass glasses and she's like, are
you guys going upstairs? They werelike, oh, no, you know,
we don't have the proper Yeah,I wear exactly, and she let
us borrow some and then she wewent upstairs, I know, and then
(02:52):
we saw the eclipse and it wasso cool because you definitely couldnt see that.
Obviously, do not look at thatwith the naked eye. But even
if you wanted to look at it, I don't you have seen it,
like it was so bright, notand it's like full effect. No,
it was so freaking bright, whichplays way too orange. Yeah, I'm
not gonna. I was so fascinatedthat even after the eclipse finished, I
kept looking at the sun. Iwas like, Oh, this is so
(03:13):
cool with your bar eyes. No, of course, not with my glasses.
But I read the glasses that saidthat you shouldn't look at the sun
more than three minutes with it on. So there you go. Did we
look at it for more than threeNo? I think we kept taking breaks.
Yeah, but we didn't just stareat it for like three minutes.
But yeah, that's scary, hm, but cool. It was cool.
But I really wish we were likein Texas or New York because they got
(03:36):
the whole total eclipse where it likeit was not dark, it got dark,
and I was like, oh,I want to experience that so bad,
And unfortunately I don't think we're goingto experience that, at least in
California in our lifetime. No,so I guess in twenty forty four you
would have to travel somewhere we're Yeah, I believe it's like towards like Canada.
I think Canada and like some ofthe northern things. But yeah,
(03:57):
I was like, I don't care. I'm gonna drive or I'm gonna take
to fly and I'm gonna be oneof those people that is traveling because it's
a cool thing, Like I wantto experience that. All right, Well,
I have a little rent about GypsyRose Fair because obviously since she got
out of prison, we've been talkingabout her a lot. Everybody's been talking
(04:20):
about her a lot and kind oflike keeping up with like her. Unfortunately.
Yeah, So I think what isupsetting to me is like she is
treated like a total celebrity and Idon't see her that way. So it
happened to make you come to SoI saw this video of a woman on
(04:46):
TikTok who's a hairstylist, and sheposted a video saying Gypsy Rose like,
I know you don't know me,but I'm a hairstylist in New York and
I want to fly you out tomy song and do your hair for free.
Just answer my message, girl,And I'm like, how is she
getting flown out? Getting like bloodout? She's getting flud out getting her
(05:08):
hair done for free and like gettingall of this treatment like a celebrity when
somebody and look, honestly, tome, I don't care if she didn't
actually do it. She got somebodyto do it, and that's enough for
me to think, like, you, you're sorry. And I know,
I know she went through a lot. I know she's trying to discredit that,
(05:29):
but like, there's so many differentoptions that you could have done,
because it's no offense to her, because I understand that her case was very
severe, like what her mom didher was it was excuse my language,
it was fucked up. But there'sother people on this earth that go to
either similar or worse situations than that, and they don't resort to killing somebody.
You could have. I don't know, she could have done something else.
And I think just based off ofye because I I want to say,
(05:50):
since she's got out, since I'veheard her speak out on a lot
of things, it's made me feelthat she had bad intentions just based off
of what I'm hearing. Yeah, because I feel like she shows no remorse.
She keeps on saying that she wasn'tthe one who who did the act,
so almost like just placing the fullblame on the guy. Yeah,
(06:14):
she did, and I remember therewas a probation somebody who works in probation
or something, and they were like, what she did was not smart because
when you take a deal or somethingthat you have to show remorse and show
fault and not show fault, butlike be aware of what you did.
And she did not do that inthe interviews. So they're like, yeah,
she could be right back in jail, in prison, so she feels
(06:36):
no remorse. Does make me likeupset to just see that everybody is like
putting her on this pedestal almost andare forgetting what she did. That's not
my thing is because I've been seeinga lot of like pop bass and like
other social media sites on Twitter, and they're always like reporting, Oh she's
getting plastic surgery. Oh she's theforcing her husband, And I'm just like,
(06:57):
what's why why are we reporting onthis? She has done nothing to
us, And I'm like, isthat what it takes for you to be
get famous? Like it's just russme the wrong way that we are giving
these people attention when it could befocused on other people, And it just
shows us like where our society is. And I hate social media for it.
Yeah, because it's just so manyother people could be famous and deserve
(07:18):
a free hairstyle, Like she's inNew York. There's a lot of homeless
people in New York. Give thema free haircut or make their day or
something like that. Gipsy Rose literallyfor what for? Like, I honestly
hope though, that she gets herfifteen minutes of fame. It's been over
fifteen minutes right now, maybe liketwenty five. But I really hope that
it ends soon because I just don'tand I think it will and I and
(07:41):
again, I probably am not contributingto like, yeah, putting her or
like uh, I guess like puttingher flame out, yeah, because I'm
still like, Okay, well, when her lifetime documentarything comes out, I
want to watch it. But Iwant to watch it because I actually have
a feeling that in this new series, they're they're gonna show her true colors
(08:03):
a little bit more because as youknow, or for those of you that
don't, for those for those thatdon't know, she recently got a divorce
from her husband Ryan. She followedfor divorce, but she's been seeing that
these past couple of weeks, hangingout with her ex, getting matching tattoos
with her ex. I'm sorry, but that's shady. I mean, it
is shady, but I feel likeI thought she's gonna be I think she's
(08:26):
really good at hiding it, that'strue. Like she and is she the
one that's producing this thing? Likeis it from her? No, because
if it's from where she's hired, she's not gonna show it's directly from her.
Oh I don't think so. Well, hopefully not, because I don't
know. I just want to knowAmerica's fascination with like people like this,
because like when the Dahmer thing happened, like everybody was watch I mean I
(08:50):
also watched the show too, butit was just all this hype, all
this hype over this show, andlike anything with serial killers or anything,
like, we're just like, whydo we show attention to so much like
negative content? I don't know, that's a good question. But along with
our society, yeah, a lot, a lot is wrong. Social media
is like the biggest problem. AndI love social media, but it's gone
(09:11):
to the point just like come on. I know. That's why sometimes I
do feel like it would be reallynice to just not be on G talk.
Yeah, but it's so hard ajob, I know, I kid
you not. If I did nothave this job, I wouldn't I maybe
would have TikTok, but I wouldn'tbe posting anything on there, mate.
Yeah, just because I want tojust disconnect something exactly. That's why I
(09:35):
feel like, for example, Ihonestly this is gonna be like so funny
because I have Cheetes tweets, butI hate, like I'm over Twitter right
now, but like now, likeI have a job, so I have
to like tweet like which is sometimesokay, but I'm just like sometimes I
just want to delete the app, like I really, Yeah, I don't
care tough. Yeah, I feellike that about I mean about all platforms
(09:56):
sometimes just because I feel like itconsumes a lot of my time and again
it's me letting it. But it'salso, like, like you said,
it has to do with our job. So I know we're always searching for
like new content, stories like thingsto talk about. But I think it
would be nice till one day, just like you know, I wish we
could just have a week we're like, okay, nokay, let's just focus
(10:18):
on ourselves not be it maybe duringlike our summer vacation. Yeah, but
then who's gonna post. How arewe gonna post about what we're doing?
That's true? Like other people needto know. I'm just kidding. Yeah,
maybe I think I will do detalksduring that time because like even with
Instagram, I figured I started learningNo, no, I started like noticing
that I've been not on Instagram thatmuch anymore, Like I bear like I
(10:41):
probably check it like once or twicea day. Now you're on TikTok more
I am on it, which isbad, which okay. The thing I
like TikTok a lot because I'm ableto well, it's TikTok is the Internet,
so you can't trust everything you seeon there. But I do learn
a lot more stuff I feel likeon TikTok, which is why I like
it with certain you know certain uh. And there's so many objects videos on
exactly funny and cute videos, andyou can watch videos of dogs and get
(11:05):
on like fashion this core and likea bunch of manifestation like moving or apartment,
the course, the course, thecourse and stuff like that. The
course, the core, decre thecore core. Yeah, for a second,
I was like, wait, decoredecorations but the first time, but
(11:28):
then like yeah, after I heardyou say it so many times I was
like, wait, I was questioningmyself. Anyways, let's move it right
along. Yeah, a Rihanna reread. So she was on British Vogue,
and I have to say her picturesare very interesting. I don't know
if you got a chance to seeit, what did you do to her?
(11:50):
They're very they're very strange. Butyou know, I'm not gonna question
Rihanna because she is, you know, that girl, but they're very questionable.
But she she had an interview withNo, it wasn't Vogue, it
was it called the Interview That okay, thing was the Interview, which is
interesting, but anyways, she shehad an interview with them, and she
(12:11):
opened up about her relationship with acepRocky, which I thought was super super
cute because they said she pretty muchsaid that she knew him for a very
long long time and then how theyended up having their relationship become really fast
during COVID because you know, obviouslylockdown and then bam, they just became
parents. And she just like, well, that's what God wanted, so
she's happy that it happens. Butshe was like, obviously, if COVID
(12:35):
didn't happen, that she would seethem taking a little bit more time getting
to know each other more. Imean they knew each other for a long
time, but taking it slower. She also said that she tried from her
past relationships, so people thought thatnot with Shade, but how Drake and
everybody else is like kicking the airright now because she says she tried,
but she feels like they didn't seeher for her. So I was like,
(12:56):
oh, Rihanna, that's shake girl. I love her with asp Rocky.
I know, they're so cute,so stylish, like they're literally like
I know, I say, acouple of goals, but they're up there.
Did you see that? She wasalso I think it was in the
same interview she was talking about howhe will get so dressed up for everything
that she's like, you, Ihave to get girl, I feel you.
(13:20):
But I I love that even morebecause when you think of Rihanna,
you think of like somebody who isso stylish, so put together, like
she is that girl. Yeah, she's a fashion I car So then when
you think of her man being evenmore than are thy married already? No?
Okay, we don't not that weknow of Okay, Well, when
you think of asap rocky being evenmore than like wanting to be all dressed
(13:43):
up and wanting I love that.Yeah it's cool. But also like,
girl, I feel you because sometimesyou really do just want to be weird
on a plate. She I mean, she looks good and everything. Yeah,
it's nice to see that she kindof like found her match. Yeah
that is cute. So I know. I also think today is like a
fashion icon too, because I feellike she doesn't get as much as Rihanna
does, but she she's up there. She also goes there. But also
(14:05):
another thing that Rihanna said that wasso I was I'm gonna lie. I
teared up a little bit because shesaid that, you know, based on
her music, that she has visualsthat she has created in her head,
but she doesn't have any like songsthat come to mind or anything for those.
So I feel like, you know, Rihanna, she just might just
(14:26):
have to announce her retirement or something. No, I don't think she's coming
out with new music anytime soon, but you think, like, let's say,
who I was gonna say five yearsfrom now, but between now and
five years from now, she's probablygonna have another child baby. Yeah,
and oh and also naraves. Shesaid that she's she wants more, she
wants a girl, so she knowsthey gonna stop. She except it's still
(14:50):
gonna be on her. And Ihonestly think she's HAPPI where she is right
now, you know, with herlittle family, and then she has so
many side businesses right now that musicis not paying any of the bills for
her. Oh my gosh. Sorry, I'm gonna sidetrack a little bit because
he talked about the side businesses, and we I know, mentioned this the
other day about how the internet issaying and again, don't believe everything you've
(15:11):
seen on the internet, but theinternet is saying that our economy must be
so bad or is so bad.And it shows because we see all of
these celebrities starting a bunch of sidebusinesses when they're already rich. That makes
me they're okay, Kylie Jenner,my thing is okay. I think that's
the number one example. There's arumor that Kylie jens actually broke I saw
(15:35):
that. Yeah, So I honestlyalso don't believe what you say on the
internet. I don't believe with theCelebrity Show because what we say, oh
yeah, what we say because wejust could be talking. But hey,
anyways, they said large celebrities areactually broke, like P Diddy. People
are like, well, him understandablybecause he has three houses, but he
remember his mortgage. Like they werelike, he needs to pay this amount
(15:56):
to keep his house. But peopleare like, you're P Diddy, how
come you couldn't pay that out ofpocket? Like what a long time ago?
A long time ago. So it'sjust like this, like a lot
of celebrities, they people say theylive beyond their means, so they show
all these lavish things, but theyactually got no money. And so just
(16:17):
hey, when you see celebrities outthere that think they got everything, you
know they might don't. Yeah,it might be in that I was.
I was looking at, well,Kylie Jenner specifically because I saw a video
I hate seeing like I saw iton tiktik. Yeah, but then I
feel like it just automatically discredits anything. But it was talking about like Kylie
(16:41):
Jenner's makeup line because I feel likenot a lot of people are buying from
her makeup line anymore, because youknow how there was a certain point in
time everything was Kylie was yes,and I wanted it so badly and they
didn't have it. You have toget an order online or at the lip
Kids. Yeah, like take canget a Sephora, Like it was so
hard to get it. And thennow I don't even think anyone talks about
(17:03):
it. And she had so shehad Kylie lip Kids, she had Kylie
Skin, Kylie Baby. She's likecoming out with Kai or something like that,
which is another fashion brand. Yeah, she had. She's coming out
with the Seltzers, the Vodka Seltzers. So think about all of the different
companies that she's kind of like tryingto start on, but none of them
are really like succeeding in that way, except for like I guess, the
(17:25):
the Lip Kids at some point, but that was a long time ago.
That was I was like twenty sixteen. That was like king Kylie movement.
And I heard that she's trying togo back to that, to that,
Yeah, but I don't think it'sgonna work out. And I feel like
it's because they that whole Correshi familyjust became very like inauthentic too, especially
with a TikTok community. So Ijust feel like people just not resonating.
Yeah, they don't. And Ihonestly feel like when with Okay, with
(17:48):
Rihanna and with like Cline Gomas, they're like the two top artist or two
top celebrities that have like really goodoh like beauty line, beauty lines that
are doing well. You can evenprobably throw Ariana Grande in their toir.
Even maybe I know a lot ofpeople like road Beauty, but that's like
Haley Beeber. Yeah, I feellike a lot of people do like her
her. I think I think shegot popular because of the well not she
(18:14):
got popular, but more popular becauseof the phone case because a lot of
people were kind of trashing her lipgloss for a little bit because it was
grainy, like it wasn't that good. Yeah, so but now a lot
of people are getting it because ofthe road case. But yeah, just
like in general, like but Ifeel like these people they really concentrated on
one thing and then it's becoming successwhere Kylie is like dipping her toes and
(18:37):
everything and it's kind of like gettingkind of chaotic and their formula. And
I don't remember that time she hadher Kylie skin and she faked washed her
face and people are like, shedidn't even wash her face with it,
So like it's just stuff like that. I feel like people are picking up
We're just like, we don't reallytrust you with I feel like skin the
only like Kardashian that I actually atthis point like that. I'm like,
(19:00):
you know, if you if youmade something, I'd be like, good
for you. Corny, No,Chloe, keep guessing, Well, who
else is there? It's not oneof the main ones that you think.
Okay, so it's Kendall Chloe. You're thinking of just the sisters and stuff.
Rob No North. I love North. Oh she's a West. We
(19:25):
still like in that Kardashian, Ijust think that we're gonna be like,
oh, Northwest. Yeah, butit was completely not her family, Like
she is a whole differ. She'slike a karma for that family. I
love her. I feel like she'sYeah, she humble, she does and
that's I love that. Not forme though, I want to have a
(19:47):
kid like that. We can goback to your daddy's. You want to
act like that. Is there anythingelse you wanna you want to mention or
if not, I have like alittle scenario that I want your opinion.
Okay, go ahead. So Isaw the on ticks everything. This is
just a TikTok segment. But I'mcurious to know your thoughts about this because
(20:11):
I don't know if it's popped upon your for you page. But this
influencer, she is getting dragged becauseshe went to her brother's gender reveal party.
And during the gender reveal, youknow how people have like the confetti
things or whatever, So they dothe confetti, they reveal the gender,
and they start celebrating, and thesister immediately like runs to the brother and
(20:37):
hugs them before he and he evenhas a chance to like hug and celebrate
with his partner. Mmm. Okay, so people are saying, like you
ruined the moment for them, likeyou should have let them celebrate first because
they were revealing the gender instead ofjust running straight at him and kind of
like taking that moment away from thecouple. Yeah, so what do you
(21:00):
you think, Like, do youthink people are overreacting? Do you think
it is a big deal? So, like, if you were revealing the
gender of your baby with your significantother and their like sister sibling like completely
like ran at them and hugged thembefore you got a chance to celebrate them,
would you be upset? I don'tthink it's to me. I don't
think it's topic of a deal.I like, I mean, I could
(21:22):
see it like girl, calm down, like it's just let me, let
me enjoy my mom with my baby, daddy or whoever. I don't know.
I just depends on I guess.I don't know, because if you're
pregnant, there's a lot of hormonesgoing out of your body too, so
I think anything can irritate you.So I don't know if it was out
of like it just happened like justyou know, and it was like I
(21:48):
guess planned. I don't know.It just depends on the relationship. I
agree with that part, yeah, because when I was watching this, I
was like, hmmm, like Itry to put myself in their shoes.
Yeah, And I was like, honestly, if I had a really good
relationship with my sister in law, yeah, I would have no issue with
(22:10):
you doing that. So I thinkit comes down to like what kind of
relationship you have with them, becauseif you don't get along, then you
know they're doing that just malicious.Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying,
Like, it wouldn't be a bigdeal to me if I we were
in like this oh yeah, it'staken assignment, like yeah, yeah,
because like I don't know my family, they probably would run up to me
and hug me too. So honestly, it just depends on the relationship.
(22:33):
And I don't know. I feellike social media always at taxing without knowing
what's actually going on. Now,I will say with this specific influencer,
though, I think based on basedon her videos, she does give off
like a vibe of her kind ofhaving some bad feelings towards the sister in
law. So I feel like that'swhy people are dragging her, because they
(22:53):
think like she might have had someill intent when running up to Like,
that's weird for you to do thatout of me. It's just weird.
Yeah, I guess that's what wouldbe my question to you, would you
be Would you marry or have kidswith somebody who you are not really close
with their family, like you're simplythat would be hard. That would be
(23:15):
so hard. I have gotten likeextremely lucky because I get along so well
with his family. He has ahuge family, so I haven't even met
like, oh wow, all ofhis family. But for me, like
the main I guess the main peoplethat I want to get along with the
(23:37):
most and like, I guess carefor the most because it's obviously the people
that I'm going to be seeing mostis like his parents, yeah, and
like very close family members like hisbrother like yeah, like yeah, yeah
yeah, And so thankfully I'm like, Okay, they're they've all been super
welcoming of me and they like spoilme and they're super nice and I love
(23:59):
that. Yeah, but I'm like, oh my gosh, if it would
be it would be so tough forme if he had like a sister that
didn't like me, or if likehis family didn't like me, like his
parents didn't like me, because Iit would like eat at me inside.
So I just don't know if itwould just make me really sad that I
don't know if I could like continuebecause I just think I would try so
(24:26):
hard to get along with them ifif I wasn't getting along with them,
or I would try so hard forthem to like me, and I think
if if they never got to thatpoint, it would really like hurt a
lot. But then again, Idon't know that I would want to like
throw away the relationship for it.Yeah, it's a tough situation, is
it is a tough situation, butI feel like I don't know, maybe
(24:48):
like a short term relationship, Iwould be just fine with it, like
I don't care, but like itwas a long term and I'm like,
okay, like shoot, marriages comingup, Like I would want to be
like on good terms with your familyor have them like me, And if
it doesn't come to that, thenI don't. I honestly don't think I
could like follow through with it,which sucks to to do, but like
at the end of the day, though it's this, it's hard to because
(25:10):
you're not marrying the person. Butif they're if that person is super tight
knit with their family and like youknow, they want to do holidays together,
but they're over here treating me likes h I t then I don't.
I just couldn't. I don't know. It's a hard situation, but
I definitely it would be. It'dbe tough, and I don't know if
I could handle that. We bothare we let our emotions our lives literally,
(25:40):
But no, I completely agree.I think it would be really really
tough too to not like have agood relationship, yeah, with with the
family. But I do think likeI would want, well, I do
have someone who is like that. But like, let's say if if if
(26:02):
I'm talking just generally, like Iwant someone who is very close to their
family. Yeah, me too, that's the thing. Yeah, so I
want to be close with their familiestoo. I would say, though,
my cousin when he used to datethis girl, she did something and we
just kind of all were like,we're not were you feeling her? Okay,
we wanted him to break up there, but he didn't. He was
(26:22):
still like, you know, like, oh, this is my girlfriend,
da da da da. Yeah,so we were still like very cordial with
her, like we never like showedany animosity or anything towards her, but
deep down we're just like, wedon't really like you. And so what
was like the main reason why wedidn't like her, Yeah, because they
she cheated and just the way heshe just yeah, that was like that
(26:48):
was like the last job. Butshe would also do other things too,
like what did she do? Shewas just like really just some shady stuff
and then we'll oh, she likethey'll go to the I think she kissed
like one of the guys that hewas cool with at a at a dating
Well they're on a break but hesaid he this is what he said to
(27:11):
her, like when they're on thebreak, like you could do whatever you
want, just don't do nothing withanybody that I know. And then she
went and did it to that forInson, that's why I feel like people
who take breaks, I know. And it was her like I can lead
to so many at least breaks thatinvolve you seeing other people. Yeah,
but this was like I think aftershe had already cheated, yeah, because
(27:33):
I think she she went to likea whole different state and met with somebody.
Oh my, and it was gettingmoney from this person too. It
was just it was just a messysituation. I don't know the whole details
because he didn't share share with us, but it was like there was some
stuff that she would do beforeward, just like kind of got the wrong five
from her. Yeah. Oh,also he would she wouldn't let him go
out at all, like go tolike hang out with this boy, like
(27:55):
go on board like trips, likeshe would do anything. Yeah. So
one time he was one l withhis friends. She ended up playing a
trip to go to LA with herfriends the same weekend. And it was
like, girl, like I understandyour girlfriend, but like you gotta you
gotta let him have his face too, like you guys. And it's not
like they don't go on vacations together. Yeah they do, but it's just
sometimes you just wanted to hang withhis boys. I know, my boy,
(28:18):
I got a trip soon. Oh, I know. It's so sad.
It's like, but you gotta. But then I also have a tripe.
But is it to the same place? No, okay, I don't
know. Maybe that's just me.I wouldn't like if I want to take
a trip with my girls, nofestive, my man, my future man,
I wouldn't. I wouldn't want youto take a t like it was
me and my girls. Let ushave our time. Yeah, yeah,
(28:41):
have your time. But okay, let me ask you this, what because
you know how we said, wesaid, you're significant other's family not liking
you. How would you go aboutyour family not liking your significant other?
Like would you take there? Thereare yeah, there are comments and to
(29:02):
consider it, like let's say hehe did nothing, but they not like
are like you know what you cando better? Like this, there's other
people like blah blah blah blah blah. What would you do then? Because
that's tough too, that is tough. Like if my family don't like my
stiff and other oh with no reason. If they have no reason, like
literally literally, I'm like, whydon't you like them? And they have
(29:23):
no reason, then that then they'retheir thing. Can go to no offense
to help because I don't care. But if they do have a legit reason,
like I asked you, I askyou, like, okay, like
what's the reason that, Like,oh, because he does this and this
and this. Oh, like okay, I understand, I see, but
I'm just gonna fill it out formyself. But because I feel like your
family they understand, like like ifthey really don't like some of there has
(29:44):
to be a reason why. Yeah, and sometimes they are right there best
it's their best and yeah they areright. But like, honestly, my
family are pretty right now. Myfamily they just want us to get married.
So they're not gonna like whoever youfind. They're like, we just
listen, We just we don't evencare if you have a child, just
have a child anything. We'll takeanything at this point. So like they
(30:07):
really like what they get is thatthey're perfectly fine with that. They get
like they as long as they don'thave whoever they've all have whoever, as
long as you know, you know, obviously don't do domestic violence or do
drug Yeah, Like I'm the onlything I would say they would really want
is just you to be educated, like graduate from college. I know nowadays
you don't necessarily have to go graduatefrom college. I can have like a
(30:30):
trade job or any job that payswell. That's fine with me, but
they were they would have like beeducated, don't do drugs, and not
be abusive. And I think otherthan that, they're totally fine with whatever,
like oh my yeah, unless you'rejust don't be a walking red flag
and they're fine. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like for me it would
(30:53):
be really tough if because I'm reallyreally close to my mom and I feel
like if she were to ever belike, hey, like I don't like
this person, I don't want youto see them like that would be rushing.
Yeah, because she matters so muchto me that if she wouldn't get
along with my significant other like that, I think that would be like a
(31:15):
really big issue for me because itwould be really tough for me to not
have them both at the same place. Yeah, but wouldn't you consider,
like ask your mom like hey,Like, what is it that you Yeah,
I would, but like that's whatI'm saying, Like if she did
have a reason, yeah, butif I loved him, it would just
be like it would be so toughbecause you would be like in the middle
of of like do I continue withthe person that I love or do I
(31:37):
like listen to my mom. It'shard because like you love your parents,
but sometimes you're like, let mejust make these mistakes on my own.
But it's also hard because I feellike it's crushing for them to see,
like if you if you end upgetting hurt in the long run, it's
like that's that's the worst thing thatthey like for them. But it happens
though, yeah you know, yeahin there. And I feel like as
(31:59):
a parent, like when I'm awhenever i'm a parent, I'm gonna be
like support you no matter what. And even if I tell you like I
don't like this person and you stillwant the data but they break your heart,
I'm still gonna be there for youto hold, you know, to
ice creaming. I know we couldtalk about, to watch movies, whatever
you need. I'm here. SoI don't know, it's just I don't
(32:19):
know. Sometimes parents. Because there'ssome parents like the Mama boys. Let
me tell you those ones. Now, I feel like they will have any
girl. It's just never gonna beenough for them, you know what I
mean, Like the mom's like Idon't like her, or she DAEs da
da, and just yeah, thatman's like okay, mom, like yeah,
I feel like that happened to oneof my friends and it was.
(32:42):
It's been. It's like a toughsituation if you if you're a MoMA's boy,
don't listen to your MoMA when shesaid she don't want a girl,
because that's that's that's some different energy. Okay. Yeah, but isn't it
crazy like you have like two completelyseparate families that then all of a sudden
joined together because of two people. Here's a badge. Okay, So like
those two families cojoined, they madelike your parents, those two fans that
(33:05):
made you, and then you're goingto sell It's just like, wow,
I feel like we're all related.Just deep, deep, deep, deep,
deep, deep deep down. Idon't want to think about that.
Yeah, I've never tried to dolike a twenty three me. I haven't.
I think I kind of want todo it, but I'm also scared
to do it because I heard theystole your DNA. I don't know if
that's sure or not. That's justoh, that sounds like the easiest way
(33:28):
for them to Yeah, they're like, oh, you got a crime from
da da da dad. We gotyou now. But yeah, I don't
know. I'm scared, but Ikind of want to know what exactly I
am because this is sidetracked. Butmy grandma, she's Native American, but
I think she took a test, okay, and it turned out that she's
not full Native American, which shewas shocked that she has something else than
her. But I don't know.My sister said she was probably like probably
(33:51):
Mexican. Oh no, wait,oh my god, maybe we are related.
I know, right, no,but which makes sense because I Native
Americans and Mexicans, like they roamedthe same land, you know what I
mean. So I think I justsaw TikTok where this girl was from Mexico
or she was Mexican, and shetook a twenty three and meters and then
she had like fifty three percent ofNative American indigenous in her. So I
(34:13):
was like, you know what,it could be really mixed in there.
Because before there I'm not getting toothat, but before you know, we
had settlers and stuff. People roamedthe earth, at least North America very
freely. So hey, wow, maybe we are related. Yes, you
(34:34):
know, pretty cousin. You saycousin. That's so funny. Anyway,
that's your Spanish for the yeah, the week. Well I said it.
I don't know I said it inEnglish. Yeah, we said Spanish and
then he said stay cousin. Canyou sayima? I love that? Yeah?
(35:00):
Oh that kind of okay, Sorry, that reminds me of I think
I was watching Marcelo Hernando Hernandez fromSNL Marcelo from US, and I think
I need to see like the face. Okay, well he's he's like literally
holding SNL on his back like he'shilarious. Right, So he was just
selling this one skit he had orhe talked about whenever, like people when
(35:22):
he tells people he's from, uhhe's the Medican or whatever, and it's
like, oh, yeah, Iknow how to speak Spanish. I took
Spanish class. And he's like, why do they always? Yeah? Why
did they always? The first thinglike people need to tell me is that
they took Spanish class and I waslike, you know, I might have
been guilty about that. I oncetwice. I wonder if you've ever said
(35:44):
that to me. You're like,I think you see your I spelled something
in Spanish. You're like, oh, you said that or whatever. Yeah,
I take Spanish class. You didsay that. Sorry, the white
had to pop out of me realquick, Cheaty. If I'm Mexican,
now it's okay. Oh you're right, yeah, because I'll let that one
(36:08):
pass, okay really quick before wewrap this podcast tomorrow. I think,
hopefully years, Cheaty will be goingto her first ever Giants game. Who
I believe that's gonna be my firstGiants game. I cannot believe that because
(36:30):
I don't even well, I didn'tlive in the Bay Area like for the
whole my whole first twenty eight yearsof life, and I had already been
to like I don't know how manyGiants games before. Yeah, I've always
been here for twenty years. Neverbeen to a Giants game, never been
to a forty nine Ers game, never been to a Raiders game, never
been to oprah A's game, neverbeen to a Warriors game, never been
(36:52):
to Sacramento Kings. I know that'snot in the Bay Area. I've never
been to any sporting events. I'mpretty sure I've been to every single one
of those that you just mentioned.I know my life. You know what.
My New Year's resolution in April isto go to some games. But
you know what, if anybody wantsto help finance that day funny yeah,
(37:15):
just kidding. Yeah, to thegame, we be greatly appreciated. No,
but it's actually crazy, and Ithink about that, I'm like,
wow, I really have you knowwhat? I've been to a Harlem Globe
Trotter's game that was my basketball gameever, so a team that isn't even
a barrier. Yeah, exactly.I haven't been to a Sharks thing,
(37:35):
a hockey yea, I have notlived like this is sad. This is
really sad. I'm twenty seven. You know what, I'm gonna make it
my mission this year. We're gonnago to those every single one, well
well maybe not this year, maybeand give us a couple of years,
yeah, a couple years money.Yeah yeah, yeah, because the Niners
game is gonna be pretty damn expensive. We'll see no Warrior's game. All
(37:59):
those are wait, yes, yeah, I'm pretty sure I've seen was at
the Oakland Arena. Well, i'vebeen to no Chase Center. Oh you've
been recently. I went to ChaseCenter, I want to say, and
Ruben can correct me if I'm wrong, which I will be wrong. I
don't remember exactly what game we watchedthere, but it was like one of
(38:21):
the playoff games. Wow. Idon't remember money. Look, we have
to save and then we like tospend. Wow. So but that was
was it versus the Kings? Youknow? You know what? We saw
a playoff games game at the King'suh like arena. Yeah. Not.
The Warriors are not good, soI don't want to go anymore. But
(38:42):
when they get good, let meknow I will. Yeah. Yeah,
because one time I think it waslike when they were going off with the
Kings, I wanted to go tothe Golden One Center to watch them.
Okay, tickets are so expensive too. I was like, of course that
would be expensive because any other dayit's not going on a King's prices like
forty day. But that's why tomorrowwe're going to a Giants game because it's
like mid after Washington. Yeah,on Wednesday, they're playing the Nationals Washington
(39:07):
something. I think it's a Nationals. Oh, I think it's a Nationals
too. Yeah. I did goto a baseball game, but I was
really young, but it was notthe Giants. It was New York Yankees
versus some so set and that wasreally cool my my my sister's friends,
grandparents, which really cool. Andthen we got like a oh, maybe
no it was not. I think, what's the Cubs versus a different team?
(39:30):
Not the New York Yankees because wegot a Cubs out. I looked
at the I was looking for likeHello Katy Night at the Giants stadium because
because I feel like for Hello Keatynight. Whenever they do it anywhere,
they always give away like really cutethings. I just like freaking a Hello
(39:51):
Kitty night, Hello Kaity night, like hello kitty. Yeah. Oh you
just go there and they just celebrateHello Kitty. Yeah. I guess.
I mean they have they celebrate likeeverything literally. Uh this next week,
I think they're celebrating like a bunchof like the schools around the area,
like they have like a youth Yesyesterday it was a s S State Yeah
(40:13):
yeah. So then I was like, what did I know about because I
went to school s of State.Yeah, you're not representing them. I
was representing them yesterday. There wasa reason why I bore my state yesterday.
There was a reason. Wow,intuitiones Okay, when is helly night?
I can't think that far is toomuch pressure? Okay, too much
(40:34):
pressure. It's not coming to you. No, we'll give you. But
I'm excited cool that you're gonna getsome gear, get something. We'll see
what we can find. Oh,tomorrow, we also have here at work.
It's like a little like baseball potLook, yeah, what are you
bringing, Jess? I don't either. I know that. Literally, I
think we're gonna see. Last timewe had a potluck here, it was
(40:58):
like me and j just to comewith me, but we saw other people
go in a safe wayving some stuff. So we'll see. I don't know,
I really don't know. Maybe lookat some bagels. Yeah, I
mean we'll we'll walk there for sure, because last time I bought cookies and
I bought them at Safeway, butI bought them the day before. But
I'm like, I could just buythem here. Yeah that's true, damn
true. Probably wash themsstort dessert.I don't know, we'll think about it.
(41:22):
I feel I mean, I feelkind of bad that we don't like
make anything. But are we supposedto make something at like three in the
morning. We were one morning radio. There's no way that we can make
something, so they're gonna have toget a store bought thing. Like I'm
sorry because I'm not staying up atnight to make something that come here and
them. We don't even have anoven here, so like literally nowhere to
put it. Maybe we could getdonuts at the from Safeway. Those are
(41:44):
bomb compared to the donuts that theybring. That's true. They're gonna laugh
at our donuts, Like, no, lie, they bring some bougie donuts
here. Okay, let's let's chipsand don't open it. We ate them
here, yeah, because nobody openedit was untouched, like literally untouched.
(42:05):
So I'm just like, you knowwhat, I'm just gonna bring this back
and then we just ate it inthe morning. They were really good.
It was really good. Everybody elsemissed out anyways, al Right, sorry
for Blevin, Yeah, but wewill see you on Thursday. Thursday.
I hope you enjoyed the rest ofyour week. Okay, bye bye.
