Is Sophomore Haley Croyle and senior KayleeJoyce combined to strike out nine Mastadons.

Sophomore Meghan Lee had four hits tolead the Akron offense and says the
team has the tools in place toreach the MAC Tournament for the first time
since twenty seventeen. I really thinkour offense has come a long way since
last year. Got one to ninethat can do it with the bat this
year, I'm really excited for that. And our defense has improved significantly,
so less errors equals more runs onour side and less runs on their side.

So hopefully take a couple more gamesand make the MAC and they win
a MAC Championship this year. That'sthe goal. Akron is currently sixth in
the Mid American conference standings. Thetop six make the MAC Tournament, and
this weekend they're at Ball State,who is the seventh place team. Doubleheader
against the Cardinals on Saturday, that'sthe first in a three game series.
