Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, there we go, feeling good on this Tuesday morning.
Thank you for starting to day with us. Ricky Sanchez
has those three things.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Excuse me as I pant. I just ran up the
stairs late today made Jimmy Kimmel will not return as
the host of the Oscars in twenty twenty five. It
would have been his fifth time hosting the event, so
obviously everybody is shocked. I think they just assumed he
was one hundred percent in. Apparently they reached out to
John Mulaney to see if he would replace him, and
(00:27):
he said no. So these are rumors as of right now.
I haven't seen anything that's official, official, especially about the
John Mulaney thing, so I'm kind of still holding out
a little bit of a so great, a little bit of hope.
We'll see what happens, and I will keep you updated
as to who will host the Oscars in twenty twenty five.
Williamson Medical Center has been named a top maternity hospital
by Newsweek. This is a big deal, really cool moment.
(00:50):
Newsweek's list of twenty twenty four's best maternity hospitals came
out and Williamson Medical Center is on it. They also
made Newsweek's list of world's Best hospitals for the fourth
in a row. So congratulations to everybody there. You guys
are doing great work. You're killing it. I love it,
love to see it.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
And I mean there's probably a handful of them listening
right now because at this hour webs we've come to
realize all of our first callers, like eighty percent of
them are in the medical space.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yes they are. So if you work there, congratulations to you,
and thank you to everybody who is in the healthcare space,
because my god, I could never do it. We appreciate
you absolutely. And the latest weird trend right now that
I don't know if I can get behind.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
I don't know what it is, but I'm saying right now,
I'll do it.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
You know, Poppy, those prebiotic sodas. Yeah, so they're trying
to do this like them and guawk mixture type thing
for like this poppy qualk okay pop walk really strange.
I don't know if it works for me, but it's
avocado's ginger, lime, poppy, salt, onion, and cilantro put into
one bowl and mush together. The whole idea is like
(01:56):
National Avocado Day is tomorrow actually, so they're trying to
give the chance to win popgualk Kicks Sounds, so gross
do their Instagram page so we.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Can just give the final product.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Is they's supposed to still kind of be like guak
okay I do. I'm not convinced. I also feel like
if I make it at home, because it's a kit
that you have to get, it's not gonna feel like
guakat said I was gonna do that.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
It's just too much work.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
I'm not doing it great, Kevin. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and
those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Thank you, Ricky. You catch your breath, I know right I.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Can't breathe right now.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
We do have more Sounds tickets coming up for the
first Caller of the day.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
If you want those hang tight leslie to call in
a bed. You're supposing on a Morton wall.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
And I want to seven five the River one O
seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
National Sounds are playing Indianapolis on August ninth, and we
got tickets for the first Caller of the Day on
one O seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
We do six one five seven three seven nine one seven.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
You get to go to the historic site of my
perfect first pitch.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
I didn't know where you were going with that and
not even surprised now that that's working what he did
do a good job. I will give it to you, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
He didn't get you. It's a perfect strike.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Oh my gosh. But you can see actual people play
that are good if you win and call right now
six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven,
first collar of the days getting tickets.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
We'll tire your next other river.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
The river, Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Abby and Murphy's Borough. What are you doing right now?
Going to work? Dropping the kids off somewhere? What are
you doing?
Speaker 5 (03:23):
I'm actually in the Dunkin Donuts drop.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Through, amazing.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
What are you ordering?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
So?
Speaker 5 (03:29):
I ordered the same thing every day, caramelized coffee with cream,
liquid sugar and cold foam and a sweetee.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Whoa is that all for you? I'm not judging. I'm
just asking if there's somebody else in the car. Never mind,
I've said too much.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Can you make it awkward time? It's like you're not
even string, but somehow you make it awkward.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Now it's fine because I dropped my son off with
my mom because school hasn't started back yet, because he
would totally want to be here with me.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Sure, yeah, that's really sweet.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
When does he go back, because I mean my kids,
you know, they go back next week.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I just I cannot believe that.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
So he will start second grade and he goes back
to school on Friday this Friday.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yes, didn't we have a half day situation?
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Yes, because he's tiny still and they think he needs
to get adjusted.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I wish they would let us get adjusted. When it
comes to work, yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
I work half days, right, and that time it is crazy.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
At the beginning of the school year, it's all these
like half days for a while, and it's just such
a logistical nightmare.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
It's like, drop the kids off for two hours and
come back and pick it.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
I got it's so hard being you, Kenny.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
If my parents, if my parents weren't retired, I would
just be screwed, honestly.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Yeah, it's not just me, it's all parents.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
It's a pain, you know.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
I know my parents didn't sign up to raise my kids,
but here we are.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
It's nice that you have your parents there. I'm sure
that they love to be a part of that too.
I hope you enjoy your coffee and enjoy the rest
of your Day's starting off right because you are the
first color of the day on one oh seven five
the River.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, you're going to see the sounds on August night.
That's coming up to playing Indianapolis. Congrats.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Thank you, nice back.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
To school treat. You and your son. Go out there.
It'll be fun.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Oh we will all right.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Well, thank you for starting your day with us, Sabby.
We appreciate that. Have a great one you too. We
have more of these tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
Let's see how awkward Kevin can make it tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Even more awkward than it was today.
Speaker 7 (05:27):
Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno. In the morning, Zach.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Had himself a very interesting first hand experience that I
think has changed his life forever.
Speaker 8 (05:39):
I am absolutely petrified of everything in life now.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
God, I mean, you're so dramatic. I don't know the story.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
His future has changed forever?
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Is this true, Ricky?
Speaker 3 (05:49):
I don't know what you say from him, but no,
I swear this sounds dramatic, but I swear I think
his future is.
Speaker 6 (05:54):
He's not dramatic. It's traumatic.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Okay, that was good. See what was talking about?
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Miley that we'll play Hozier and then we'll get this
story from Zach how his life is drastically changed next
to other.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
River Ricky Zach in the morning.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Oftentimes in life we have these life altering moments, moments
that we may not realize at the time are altering
the future, but they are. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
in the morning on one of seven five the river.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
This moment seemed to happen to Zach more than anybody
I know. Is traumatic, life altering, life altering experiences regularly
trying to fight today.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
So Zach, you had first had experienced caring for kids
for the most time for a.
Speaker 8 (06:36):
Day, exhausting thing I've ever done in my entire life.
So we took my niece and my nephew to the
zoo on Friday. Who's we My boyfriend and just.
Speaker 6 (06:45):
The two of you, justice two of us. We took
the two children.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Which is a big move, a big moment.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
To the zoo and we were there for three and
a half hours, a long time, and all I heard
the entire time, I'm hot, where's the air conditioning, where's
the food?
Speaker 2 (07:02):
And they were just the kids. David was the.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Children ten and six, so they're definitely at the age
where they have their own opinions and their own personalities.
Speaker 8 (07:13):
And I feel like I was most mentally exhausted afterward,
because like looking for them the entire time when there's
a million other children around, of like trying to make
sure that I pay attention and that I'm like involved
in what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
It was just a lot.
Speaker 8 (07:27):
I don't know how people have children. I don't all
over again, that's pretty much it.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
On a daily basis.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
I mean I've had kids for eight years now, and yeah,
that's my day to day as well.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
My faltering moment.
Speaker 8 (07:40):
I literally Kevin afterward and I was like, I don't
know how you have kids. This is exhausting, Like every
single day. I could not do it. Once a month,
I could not do it.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
I will say though.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
And I know this isn't necessarily where you're going with this,
but that makes me have so much respect for single
parents because I have all and we can sort of
like tag team the responsibility and stuff. But man, it
is a lot of work for so many people out there.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
It's really really can't help as well. Yeah, and he's freaking.
Speaker 8 (08:09):
Out about it, so shout out to all the single parents,
because I don't know how you would do it even
with five thousand parents.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Village.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
It takes a village, yeah, because it is exhausting. It
is a lot of work, especially when there's more than one.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
And if there's any young children listening right now, please
give us grown up a break. See, I mean all
that complaining that you just referenced there, Zach, and I'm hot,
I'm hungry, Like that's.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
All the time. You guys are.
Speaker 8 (08:38):
Like, I'm also hot and I'm also hungry. So like,
I know, you don't have to complain.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
But when you have kids, that doesn't matter if you're
hot and hungry. No are So this is a life
altering moment for Zach. You flat out was like, I
don't think I ever want children.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
I don't think I can do it. Point, I don't
think I can do it.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Don't give up, don't give up.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
It's different when they're your and it's like, you know
you do anything for them, So.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Don't give up. Don't give up.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Okay, Okay, Zach is not confident, no by any means
nor God.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
You had this, Staria.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
That's a very good experience to have. I had it
as well many years ago.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
And I was like, this is a lot of work,
valuable lesson, which is.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Why I am very careful and don't have.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, it's going to be
a hot one.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Ricky Sanchez is here with those three things.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
We got some lane closures happening at BNA starting today
right now, actually seven am until five pm. Every day
for the next few weeks, there are going to be
lane closures. So the far left arrivals lane at BNA
is going to be closed. They're working on expanding roadways
to improve traffic flow, which means that for a little
while the traffic flow is really just not gonna be created.
(09:49):
One arrivals lane will always be open and the departure
lanes will not be affected. So plan ahead when you're
going to the airport for the next few weeks, because
there's obviously going to be traffic, it's gonna take you
a little bit longer to get in, and obviously plan
if you're driving past BNA or around BNA that there
might also be backups that are happening that could affect
you as well. So just plan ahead for the next
(10:10):
few weeks. You don't want to get stuck in a
situation where you're like, oh my god, I had no
idea this was happening, and now what do I do?
Just be aware And he's seen Deadpool and Wolverine like
I have. It's so good. It's so good, I will say,
though there is an opening dance sequence. Dance Pool is
his name, and Ryan Reynolds wants you to know that
(10:30):
it was not him that was dancing as dance Pool.
It was an actual dancer and choreographer, Nick Pauley, he said.
And he's doing press all around the play all over
the world right now. It seems like but he said, quote,
he's doing a lot of the moves that have been
established previously by in Sync because he dances to Bye
Bye Bye. If it looks like the person who's dancing
(10:52):
doesn't have arthritis, that's him. So Ryan Reynolds is very
much open about the fact that he's not the best dancer,
and he definitely can do the choreography that dance Pool
can do.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Sure, it is actually impressive. If you've been on TikTok,
you've also probably seen it. Because now it's become one
of those where they overlay the dance. Yeah, okay, so
that's dance Pool. It's not Ryan Reynolds. I was actually
distraught when I heard this because I was really hoping
that it was him, and it almost kind of seems
like the mannerisms would be him. So the guy who's
(11:23):
doing the choreography, yeah, did a phenomenal job. Such a
great job. And a new survey reveals that Americans will
spend an average of six hundred and sixty two dollars
on back to school shopping for the upcoming school year.
That is a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Zach that he shouldn't give up on the idea of
having kids. What are you doing with a.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Lot of money? So here are a few tips from
financial experts if you still need to grab some back
to school items. They say buying items in phases instead
of all at once is a great start. Start with
the things that your kids need on the very first
day of school, and as time goes on, supplies will
go on sale. Okay, right now they're expensive, Wait about
a month, they'll be a little bit cheaper if you
can wait a month. If you can't, it's just what
(12:02):
you got to deal with. Unfortunately, for laptops or electronics.
Check wholesale stores like Costco so you don't have to
pay full price, and compare some prices online at different
stores to see where you can get the best deals,
especially for things that are a little more expensive. I know,
like those big calculators in high school they have to
buy that are like eighty five dollars or one hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I love those.
Speaker 9 (12:22):
Oh you can look.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Yeah, I'm not buying them, but I love playing with them.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Okay, great, They're very expensive. So if you're looking for
things like that, check the prices at different stores online.
It'll help you out in the end. I'm Ricky Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Jumping back into the music here with Taylor and post
Malone right after Fortnite, Zach is standing by with the
fact Zach's back school hasn't started yet.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
We're all learning together. Next, I'm one of seven five
the River.
Speaker 7 (12:48):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on one
the River.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
All right, Zach, teach us something new. It's Zach spack'x
on one of seven five the River.
Speaker 8 (12:57):
If you had to take a random guess, how high.
Do you think popcorn pops when it's popping.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Oh, that's a good question. I would say it could
get up to a foot. It can go up to
three feet, Okay.
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Three feet.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
The airworkop almost as high as I am. As tall
as I am, I'm for weapons.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
So like that's really ot for you.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
I don't know how tall Small Miles is. Is she
four eleven?
Speaker 6 (13:22):
I think you're the same heights.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Oh, we're the same heights.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I think she's somewhere in between you and popcorn small package.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
We could do lots of things.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
Though, And that is your fact of the day.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Several effects in there.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Ricky zecond Mano in the morning and I'm.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
So excited and I'm so sad at the same time,
lots of mixed emotions because tomorrow is the last river
on the rooftop of the summer season for us, at
one of seven five the river, and it's just it's
just so many things I'm feeling right now. I love
these concerts and I'm so sad that they're about to
be done. But like summer is about to be done,
and that's just kind of what happened.
Speaker 6 (13:56):
No, I wanted to be done.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Our boss John and then who does a great job
organizing these events. He'll just so, yes, yes, yes, they'll
just have to start working on next years as soon
as this one wraps tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yes, yeah, I guess, but then we gotta wait until
next year.
Speaker 8 (14:12):
Winter events took too.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I will say, though, before I get super sad. We
do have the cass One and I'm very excited. We
have Dasha who's going to be here, Mark Amber, David Kushner,
Alex Warren Brooke, Alex like the lineup is crazy.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
I would highly recommend getting there a little bit early
because there's gonna be so many people that are the
show starts at six or letting people open at five, Okay,
so we start letting people in at five, So I
would get there a little bit early.
Speaker 6 (14:44):
But yeah, it's a sky that come on Broadway.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
He's gotta line up early tomorrow night.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
And everybody complains all the time about how expensive concerts are,
so we threw some free ones.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
There's no catch free show.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
We will see the Love you so Much, Nashville, I
love you so much, Ricky zach man O in the
morning on the River.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Oh see, it's cute when Riley does it I don't
mind it when Riley does it. Kenn Is Games Baby

O seven five of the River. We are playing for
Tate McCrae tickets. So if you want to go see
Tate McCrae at a Sunday anhitheater, now's your time to
call in to play the game.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
The show's a week from tonight. It's next Tuesday night.
Tate McCray is so good. We just recently had that
recording her doing a.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Cover on set. Yes, her voice just incredible.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Sony, these tickets all week long at seven forty five
with the Game of the Day. It's a Canada quiz
because she's Canadian. But then after we I decided on
this game, Ricky in Zach pointed out that it's like
the Olympics.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
The Olympics have some you want to talk about.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
We're celebrating Canada all week.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Look.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Uh so, if you want these tickets, if you want
to do the Canada quiz to win, I'm six one five, seven,
three seven, nine one oh seven. Yesterday's, by the way,
one of my favorite games we've ever played here.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
It was a mess.
Speaker 6 (15:58):
That's why but it was so good.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Nicky one so.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Worked out in the end six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven playing the game for Tate McCray tickets
next to the River.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
One oh seven, five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
I just need to read what Kevin wrote for his
Game of the Day in our little sheet. It says
Canada quiz or Tate McCrae. A.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah, you like that.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
No, I hated so much Tate McCrae.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
It's one of seven, five of the River. Kevin Mendow's
Game of the Day this week is Canadian themed because
we're playing for Tate McCree tickets.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
She is a very talented Canadian and there are a
bunch of them out there, so some questions about Canada's finest. Hello, Jeff,

Speaker 10 (16:37):

Speaker 3 (17:15):

going for you, but unfortunately not the correct answer.

But I cannot think of the artist.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yeah, it's okay, Jeff, it's okay, Okay.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
You're still alive. You need the next two to uh
to get the tickets.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
What Canadian comedian got his start on the TV show
in Living Color.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Carrie Nice.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
You're on the board, all right.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
You need this.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Jeff.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Kendrick Lamar has been in the news this year for
feuding with What Canadian.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Uh uh, dray, you did.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Not sound common those noises you were making really anything.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
You didn't know it.
Speaker 9 (18:02):
But I know nothing about Canada except maybe Scott Pilgrims
the movie Canada.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
So it's a miracle.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Congratulations, Cheff. We are so proud of you. Despite the
fact that you don't know much about Canada.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
You got the quiz right.
Speaker 9 (18:17):
Yeah, it's a miracle. Thank you so much.

Hay on the line Love. We're gonna have them tomorrow.
The Canada Quiz.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
I'm thoroughly impressed by the amount that everybody knows about Canada.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I thought you're gonna say you're impressed by something I
did at first.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
No, Kevin, not you.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Three days.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
You need to know just after eight o'clock on this Tuesday.
We really appreciate you starting your day with us where
he's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
The US men's Olympic gymnastics team ended a sixteen year
drought with a medal. They took on bronze and men's
Artistic Team all around. It's the first medal of the
team in that team event since two thousand and eight
for the American men's gymnastics team. So congratulations to every
especially because they had a disappointing fifth place finish on
Saturday in the qualifying rounds and they came back. Baby,
(19:06):
we love a comeback story, So congratulations to everybody on
the team. Big deal all around. Leaperspok has a new speakeasy.
This is really cool. It's called the Parlor. It's in
nineteen thirties inspired speakeasy. Hid it in the back of
Bubble Joy, which is a newly opened old fashioned candy
shop and bubble bar. So it opens this Saturday. Go
(19:27):
check it out at Leaper's Corner because it sounds really cool.
I love speakeasies. I love that vibe, that idea of it.
I know they're not like real anymore, but it's so cool.
And according to Zillo, one million dollar starter homes are
the norm in two hundred and thirty seven US cities
right now, which is wild. Yes, is my soul. So
(19:48):
the number of cities of million dollar homes, it's tripled
since twenty nineteen according to this new study. And just
you have an idea, the real estate site a starter home,
they define it as in the Love I was third
of home values in a region, So a million dollars
is in the lowest third in some region.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
They at least wages aren't rising.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
So in two hundred and thirty seven cities, a typical
starter home is worth at least a million dollars, which
is up from eighty four cities in twenty nineteen. So
that's just a crazy stat and obviously a little depressing,
but that's Okay, it's okay. We're doing great at the Olympics. Guys,
I'm pretty sachiez. And those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
This silver lining it is wild.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
I know everybody does this, but you drive around you
see all these nice hots that where you're like, how
do this many people have this much money?
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Now, what are you doing? Tell me your secrets?
Speaker 7 (20:38):
Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning on they to.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
Leave work a little bit early last Friday. Ricky Zach,
I apologize. I appreciate you guys letting me go, but
my dog had a panic attack, and that was the
legitimate excuse given for me leaving early.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Well, you didn't know that he was having a panic attack.
When he was having a pan attack, you were nervous
that there was something actually wrong. Turns out your dog
is as dramatic as you are.
Speaker 6 (21:02):
And I thought I was the most dramatic one on
the show.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Turns out you're an it's my dog.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
It's my dog.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
No, the vet's honestly, they said that he had like
the dog equivalent of a panic attack. So that's a
nice it's fine, but that got us kind of giggling
at the idea of a dog panic attacking.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
The reason I left early?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
So we want to know the silliest reason a coworker
of yours either called in or left early.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Can you beat a dog panic attack?
Speaker 3 (21:28):
I think there's got to be more ridiculous things to
call out for.
Speaker 6 (21:31):
I have one for Ricky that I will call me.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
Yeah, I'm always here. What are you talking here?
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Six seven three seven nine one o seven?
Speaker 4 (21:41):
If you if you can contribute to this the craziest
reason somebody called out?
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Let us know it's the Britta Carpenter of the.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
River, Ricky second Manno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Laurie Schaubeville, tell us the silly reason your coworker called out.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Of work with him call out. She was already at work,
but she had to leave early because it was storming
and we were getting pale, and she wanted to go
home and cover her car with a seat.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Okay, so she wanted to go home to cover her
car with a sheet because she wanted to make sure
that there wasn't gonna be ice on it later. But
she wanted to try to get out of work early
to do that.
Speaker 5 (22:18):
Yeah, I guess she thought the sheet would also protect
far from getting Yeah, no, I get that.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
So she parks it's uncovered at work? Yes, okay, did
it work?
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Did she get to leave early?
Speaker 5 (22:31):
No, that it was gonna be the same.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
Yeah, I don't think a sheet is gonna do a
whole Maybe something a little thicker than that, but yeah,
they probably wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Helped, right, Yeah, so it was just funny.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Yeah, that is funny. Thank you, Loriie, we appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Have a great day.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Danielle and white House. You're on here at one oh
seven five the river.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
What was that excuse?
Speaker 3 (22:53):
I'm a coworker she called out. It's out a lot,
but this particular time she called out because her.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Daughter that's like five, got a bad grade, like at school.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
What oh, so she needed to leave, She couldn't come
to work because her daughter got a bad grade and
she wanted to discipline her. Or she didn't say, just
because her daughter.
Speaker 7 (23:17):
Got a bad grade.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
That's okay.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Maybe it was just weighing on her. You know what,
we take mental health day seriously. She just couldn't steal that.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
Yeah, I guess that could be.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
The reason why, given her the benefit of the dove.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Kevin's really trying to be nice here.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
All right, Danielle, thank you for listening. We appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Y'all have a good one.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
We got on this because I left work early Friday
because my dog had a panic attack. And now Zach
said that he does have an example of Ricky even
calling in or leaving early.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yeah, did I leave earlier? Did I call out? You
called out? Okay, tell me what.
Speaker 8 (23:51):
There's a work event that you said yes you would
be there for, and then the morning up you said,
oh no, I don't want to give my hair dirty.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
I just that was a work event. It was not
literally worth a work event.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
I don't want to get my hair dirty.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
I don't want to have to wash my hair afterwards.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
No, it was not an actual work event. It was
not anything the way, Yeah, Zach, is not a work event.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
It was a work event.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
It was not a work event.
Speaker 6 (24:18):
She literally said I can't go because I don't want
to get my hair dirtey.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
Nothing to do with the station the station either.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Wait, whether it was I called out of.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
The hanging out with Zach's called.
Speaker 8 (24:31):
Out of hanging out with me because she didn't want
to get her hair dirty, not the same.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
It's not the same. Six seven seven. If you have an.
Speaker 7 (24:39):
Example, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
the River morning, Austin and Bowling Green.
Speaker 9 (24:47):
How you doing, I'm good yourself, We're great.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Do you have a great story of a time that
a friend or a coworker called out of work for
something silly?
Speaker 9 (24:56):
My friends and I, when I was an assembly operator,
found out that you could use your sick days and
they would like the morning of and they would guarantee
get a proof no matter.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
What you put.
Speaker 9 (25:07):
So we started putting that there was a venomous duck
that bit us.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
And we had to go seek out.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
A venomous duck.
Speaker 9 (25:16):
We didn't do it all the time, but when we
had an extra sick day to use before the time
was up, we definitely.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
This is a stupid question, but is there such a
thing as a venomous duck? Conducts have venom No?
Speaker 9 (25:27):
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
No.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Lots of different kinds of things out.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
There, Austin. I actually love that one, and I give
you a for creativity.
Speaker 11 (25:39):
Actually, there is such a thing duck. There is where
it's in Australia. Australia where everything wants to kill you.
Speaker 9 (25:50):
That makes sense, Yeah, that's where a Venomus Duck would
be right.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Austin, Thank you man, that's very funny. Appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Joshua and Bellevue tell us the silly story that a
coworker called out of work.
Speaker 10 (26:00):
For they had a hamster and the hamser had already
lived like jun years longer than it was supposed to.
So the hamser had lost an eyeball and had had
surgery the hamster.
Speaker 6 (26:14):
Wait, is that true?
Speaker 9 (26:16):
Yes, they hit pictures.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Honestly, I kind of get that one. If your beloved
pet is having an eyeball surgery.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Okay, but how much money do you think they spent
to have an eyeball surgery on a hamster?
Speaker 10 (26:27):
Over at one thousand dollars?
Speaker 7 (26:29):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (26:30):
God, that is a very beloved pag.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
I guarantee a tiny little eye patch would be a
lot cheaper than one thousand dollars surgery.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Joshua, thank you for calling it and telling us that
outrageous story. We appreciate you hanging out with us, absolutely.
Speaker 9 (26:46):
I love you guys, We love you.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
I already know I'm gonna get stucked down a rabbit
hole of Hampshire Surgery.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
One O seven five of the River Ricky Zach and
Manow in the mornings.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
This is a combination of two of my favorite things
for the daily double tap on one oh seven five
of the River. Jason Kelce and the Olympics.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Yes, those truly are two of your favorite things of
all time.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
I can't stop watching the Olympics. Is this is the
first time I'm actually really into the Olympics. Can't stop
watching it. And Jason Kelsey just makes me so happy
as a person. So this is him. He is at
the Olympics right now. He's been showing up, popping up
all over the place, and he's talking to the women's rugby.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Team and he's like, he's their flavor Flave basically, right,
he's like the real champion.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
It turns into yeah, so here is the women's rugby team,
Alano Mayer. She's talking to him about becoming like the
flavor Flave for them.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
Okay, Olympics.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
We talked about this a little bit, but Flavor Flave
has decided to sponsor the women's swim team. I think
it's the polo team something like that, right, it's one
of the teams that he decided to sponsor and obviously
became a big deal because they never had that big
of a sponsor. So now they're getting a lot of
(28:02):
the things that they need and a lot of the
support that they need. So the rugby team was like,
we need a flavor flave kind of vibe going on
and decided to shoot their shot with Jason Kelsey, and
of course Jason Kelsey being him, he says, yes, I
love it and it makes me so happy.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
That's so great.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
I'm gonna repost it at one o seven five the
River and the Instagram story so you can watch it there.
It is a really really You also.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Tell me that he like had an arm wrestling competition with.
Speaker 9 (28:23):
The he did.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
He did, He then did some arm wrestling competitions against
these girls because they're strong, intense, and he struggled.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
I'm sure he did watching rugby in here yesterday and yeah,
I couldn't do that.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
They're beasts.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
Yeah, it's impressive. Again at one of seven five the
Ray on Instagram to defind the
Speaker 7 (28:43):
Video, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
the River
