What do you do, Amanda?
Speaker 4 (03:25):
I work for a company called Elliott Electric Supply. I
am their delivery driver.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Oh that's cool. Do you know Elliott? Is this a
small company?
Speaker 4 (03:34):
It is a small company, is actually out of Texas.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Okay, so you don't know Elliott? What a question, Kevin.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
You know who's Elliott?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
I that Jesse McCartney and I do know as twenty
six year old that has had a crush on him.
So I'm very excited about one of the thickest.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Okay, then, Amanda, I'm going to make your heart very
happy by letting you know that you are the first
caller of the day on one of seven five the river,
you're going to see him.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
My dad's gonna be so excited when I call her
in about five minutes.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Well, who's more excited? You or your daughter? Who's the
one with the bigger crush?

bra in stage, but if you're there with your daughter,
never mind.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
This is Kevin's idea of the excitement that millennials have
over Jesse McCartney, is that all we want to do
is throw our bras at him on stage. I don't know, man,
is like, I don't get it either, But she's excited
and that makes me excited.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Yes, all right, a man, Thank you for listening, Thank
you for calling.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Hope your daughter is as pumped as you say she will,
Van has a great time at the shows.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
We should give away a bra with these tickets. What
is already wants to, you know, waste a bra. So
if we give you a throwing bra, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
No one wants do you know, expensive, and nobody wants
to waste the braw You're right, But also nobody looks
at Jesse McCartney and goes, I have this overwhelming need
to throw my broad at him.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
When you were opening up about how much you love
the guy, I can tell you want to throw a broad.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Never in my mind did that come up. I never
thought about throwing my braud him. Now I feel like
I need to to see his reaction, sure, because I
know that he also would be like, what.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
Is happening tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Or tickets to see Jesse McCartney and maybe a bro baby,
We'll find some throwing brosk.

God, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on
the big.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Day today in the Mano household. It is the first
day of school.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Yeah, a lot of families, I mean this week obviously,
most families going back and my son Riley's starting kindergarten today.
He's on the phone right now.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Hi, Riley, the infamous Riley Manno on one oh seven
five the River.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Hey, buddy, how you feeling? What's today?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (05:57):
Are you excited?
Speaker 3 (06:00):
You put your confetti under your pillow? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (06:02):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (06:02):
What is confetti under your pillow?
Speaker 6 (06:04):
Means?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
We went yesterday to meet the teachers, and she gave
out ready confetti for all the kids that had this
little poem attached to it about how you know the
night before the first day, you're full of like nerves
and stuff, but if you put your confetti wait, there
was a rhyme, I don't know, but.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
You're ready.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Okay, all right, So Riley, you feel ready to go today?
Are you like what you are you most excited for? Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yes, yes, buddy, I'm so proud of you. You're gonna
rock kindergarten. I can't wait to hear how it goes.
I love you so much. Okay, and I know your
sister's still sleeping, but when she wakes up, give her
a hug for me.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Okay, okay, first day.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
I love you. Bye.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Oh he's so sweet.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I'm so excited about a kindergarten. It's a big deal.
Speaker 7 (06:50):
I've never seen Kevin so emotional like I literally thought
he was gonna cry.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
It's a weird sense of pride I have that. Yeah,
he's all grown up now and he's joining real school.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, three days.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You need to know.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning. Thank you for being here.
Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Kamala Harris is expected to announce her running mate today. Sorry,
I'm choking on my own brat. Kamala Harris is expected
to announce her running mate today. There were reports yesterday
that the search had narrowed down to two governors, Josh
Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Tim Walls of Minnesota. She interviewed
both men, as well as the Arizona Senator Mark Kelly
(07:27):
over the weekend. Very quick interview process, it seems like
just over the weekend and then they were done. Next
up we will see who she actually picks and if
her and former President Donald Trump will debate when and
where we don't know yet. Aubrey Mills, they are doing
their third annual Night Out and it sounds like it's
gonna be a lot of fun. It's family fun, back
to school activities. It's happening from five to seven pm tonight.
(07:50):
There's gonna be kids archery at Bass Pro Shop, complimentary
snow cones by Retro Snow, special giveaways to a bunch
of different places. There's gonna be local law enforce there.
So if your kids really love like fire trucks and
police cars and stuff like that, they can take pictures
with them, and the first one hundred students will get
free backpacks filled with school supplies. That's really great, so
(08:10):
go check it out if you have time today five
to seven pm at Opry Mills. It's a great back
to school event. Pumpkin spice slurpees and lattes are at
seven to eleven already. It's only August sixth, but Pumpkin
spice slurpees are new. They're only at select stores, so
you may not even be able to find them. Lots
of mixed reviews because obviously that's a very strange flavor
(08:31):
to have as a slurpee. But the pumpkin cream cold
brew is everywhere. The Pumpkin spice latte everywhere already at
seven to eleven Speedway and Stripes locations. So if you're
already feeling fall and you're over summer, this is perfect.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
I mean that's within the next couple of years that'll
creep into July. So somebody needs to make a seasons anymore,
and it doesn't.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, August first is like, you can't introduce pumpkins stuff
any earlier than August first.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
I mean it's it's August six now, so I guess
they're well within their limits.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
That's what a say. Within a few years. Just it's
getting out of hand every year. It's getting earlier and earlier.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Something else for Kevin to be stressed out about. AI
pumpkins by Slattes are too early in the year. I'm
Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Thank you, Ricky. Let's by Shabouzi.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
And then Zach's got a fact, Zack svax. We're all
gonna learn together, all the kids getting back to school.
It's an appropriate time to learn. Next down the river, Ricky,
Zach and Manno in the morning on one O.
Speaker 6 (09:24):
Seven five the river.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Zach always promises that the fact is going to be good,
but you just never know until you go there. Always
are all right, Zach, tell us your fact. It's one
O seven five the river.
Speaker 5 (09:32):
Have you ever heard of wet water?
Speaker 6 (09:35):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yes, water is wet. What do you mean?
Speaker 7 (09:37):
No, it's literally called wet water because firefighters use this.
They put chemicals in it to reduce a surface tension
of plain water so it's easier to spread if there's
like a house fire or something.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
And it's called wet water, it's called wet water and Ricky,
not to debunk what you just said, but to debunk it.
I believe water is not wet. The things water touches
then get wet.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
We're not having this conversation, Kevin, because that is the
most outrageous thing it's ever come out of here.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
I agree with you.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Yeah, I think it's I really.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Think it's true. Now, thank you Zach for that, because
now Kevin and I have to argue, and.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
That's your fact of the day.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Did anybody learn anything?
Speaker 6 (10:10):
Yeah, wet water, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the
morning on the river.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
We've been talking a lot about kids getting back to school,
talking a lot about pumpkin spice, returning to every shell.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Fall is almost here.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
So here's what we want to know from you.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Six one five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
Your favorite part of summer?
Speaker 5 (10:30):

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Call us and tell us we want to celebrate that
favorite part.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Was it a trip an experience? Let us know what
it was? Summer was doing nothing at all? That great?
Speaker 1 (10:40):

go to school. It's your favorite part of summer? There's

essentially over, even if Kevin doesn't want it to be.

did something similar this summer too.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
I went whitewater rafting for my first time this summer,
and yeah it was it was very cool.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Was that your first time? Yes, yeah, it was good.
It was great.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Now I want to go whitewater rafting. I didn't do
anything cool like that this summer.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Technically, still have time. Summer's not over.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Okay, you're right, you're right, get out there. Thank you
so much for calling in. We hope you have the
best day.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
When she too, sa good morning to Kyla in Nashville.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Wow, it was like the most best trip I've ever had.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
You know, jellyfish are my favorite animals ever. I think
they're so cool.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I just read this morning that Leonardo DiCaprio just got
stung by a jellyfish.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Well, he shouldn't have been that close to it.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
You're right, I'm with you, Colin.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
We're so hoppy. You had such a nice summer. Thank you,
and we hope that you enjoyed the school year. Have
the best day.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
You should vibe.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
What do you like about jellyfish?
Speaker 1 (12:16):
I've heard you say this before that you want a
jellyfish tattoo or they're so cool.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
And honestly, if I could come back as anything, I
want to be a jellyfish. I just want to float
through the ocean, not have to think about much, just
vibe like they're just selling but vibes. And then if
you come anywhere near me, I'll sting you.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
What's even in Like it just looks like jelly to me,
Like I don't even you look at it it's clear.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
I don't see bones. I don't see a brain. What
are they freaking cool?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, you don't agree, that's fine. I love jellyfish.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
I hope in your next live you're a jellyfish.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Thank you so much. That's the nicest thing you've ever
said to me.

Speaker 2 (13:34):

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Yeah, and you know, she actually learned to swim and
that's thankful that I learned to swim in which is

worry though she's got three things.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
That really is That is my middle name. Lots of
news coming in right now. Breaking news updates. Kamala Harris
has picked Tim Walls, governor of Minnesota, as her running
mate in the upcoming presidential election. We were saying earlier
that we were waiting to see who she was gonna pick,
and now she has. Next up is to see when
debates are going to happen. The Department of Justice is
suing TikTok for allowing kids under thirteen to make accounts
(18:24):
without their parents' permission. So the DJ is claiming that
TikTok knowingly let kids onto its platform through its quote
kids mode is what it's called. They collected their information
and failed to delete their accounts at their parents' request,
in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. So
while in kids mode kids can upload videos and that
(18:44):
can't upload videos in that note mode, they can only
view videos but the DJ is alleging that TikTok collected
some personal information from them. The TikTok spokesperson Alex Hererick
said it in a response to these claims quote, many
of which relate to past events and practices that are
factually inaccurate or have been addressed. So they're basically saying
(19:05):
that all of these things that they're claiming did happen
at one point, but they've made it so they can
never happen again. So they are saying that they've done
everything on their platform to protect children. Right now, I.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Feel like nobody's busier than TikTok's lawyers. There's always something.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
There's always something. Chapel Roon is believed to have the
largest crowd ever at Lollapalooza over the weekend, so she
was performing at Laala, not even as a headliner or
anything like that, and all of the people that put
it together every year said that this might have been
the biggest crowd that they've ever seen in the history
of Lollapalooza in the thirty years of putting on the event.
(19:41):
There's no confirmation of just how many people attended because
there's no way of actually knowing for sure, but the
spokesperson for the festival said, quote, Chapel's performance was the
biggest daytime set we've ever seen. It was a magical
moment added to Lala's DNA Massive Crazy, which is just
a string of events because every single festival that she
(20:01):
plays is packed out and has the biggest creer.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Keep having a pusher later on the bill, you know,
like when they booked her months ago before this meteoric
rise siege is exactly yeah, and now she's getting bumped
up and I did see that. I think like one
hundred and ten thousand people were allow PLUSA that day,
so I think it's safe to say at least one
hundred thousand people were out there watching her.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Wild wild, wild, wild to see. But congrats to her
for all of that. And Vanderbilt University has made the
twenty twenty four Best Value Colleges list by Princeton Review
includes two hundred and nine schools this year with a
bunch of data collected from fall twenty twenty three through
spring twenty twenty four. Other Tennessee colleges that made the
list other than Vanderbilt are Rhodes College, University of Tennessee,
(20:41):
Knoxville and the University of the South are Murchie Sanchez,
and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 6 (20:46):
Ricky Zach and Mano in the Morning on what seven
the River.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
New research reveals that a quarter of Americans are afraid
that they're becoming their parents. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
on in the Morning on one oh seven five the
what are some red flags that you're turning into your parents?
Speaker 3 (21:03):
First of all, I'm not afraid that I'm turning into
my dad. I know I'm turning into my dad, and
I embrace it.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Also, once I said, parents looked right at my soul,
directly into my soul.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
We love Gary Mano, so that's fine that you turn
into him.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Like I know that when I'm driving down the highway,
I'll say stuff that like exact quotes from my dad.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
I'll so like there's no reason for him to be
driving that fast. That's I grew up with my dad
saying those things.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
About Okay, what are some red flags that you're turning
into your parents'? Calls right now? Six one five, seven
through seven, nine one oh seven.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning on.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
We want to know the red flags that you're turning
into your parents, because apparently there's new research that proves
that a quarter of Americans are afraid that they're turning
into their parents. And it's just part of life as
you grow older. Because I'm realizing in this moment that
there is something that I do that is very similar
to my mom.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
What do you do that Donna does?
Speaker 2 (21:58):
I'm always late to every yep, and that is my mom.
But not only am I always late to everything, I
always forget something that I mean to bring with me.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
You always blame your lateness on someone else.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
No, sometimes it's somebody else's fault.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Right there, it is my fault.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
I know that I know that it's my fault, but
I always forget something Like I'm always like, oh, I
need to bring the birthday gift, and I'll forget to
bring the birthday gift because I'm like running out of
the house of a lunatic. When I was in a
wedding recently, I forgot the wedding card with the gift
in the wedding card because I was running around from
Yes one hundred percent got it from Donnay.
Speaker 7 (22:36):
So I will say, I think this one is kind
of a good thing that my act of like my
love language is active service.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
So I love cooking for people and that is totally
my mom.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Like I grew up like a green flag, not a
red flag.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
I know, but like she's scary.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Your mother is very soon.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
That's why I was like, I think it's a good thing, but.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
The red flag.
Speaker 7 (22:55):
I asked her what she thought it would be, and
she said, you're extreme lack of patience for a supit.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Okay, And I was like, yeah, I think that's also
a green flag.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Though.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
That's a good quality today. But you and your mom
both great gift givers. You've both given me gifts.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
We do love to give gifts.
Speaker 7 (23:10):
And I love cooking and having people over and like
everybody just hanging out and eating the food that I cook.
Speaker 5 (23:15):
Sure, so that's me turning.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Out green flags to me, I know.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
The more I think about this, so like I really
am turning into my dad.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
And I think having kids brought that out in me,
Like once you have your own kids, Like I mean
the a month that I tell my kids to shut
off lights or keep the door closed because we're not eating.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Me outside a dad, the light on in your room.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
I groan when I sit down and I groan, now,
my god fully, my dad? What else according to the service, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Some of the other things that people said is that
they've become the airport dad by getting to the airport
really early, being very prepared, and keeping track of all
the luggage, bargain shopping like your mom. Yeah, talking the
same way or giving the same advice that your parents did,
which I think just yeah, comes with growing older and
having kids. You tend to emulate that talking to your
(24:04):
kids and going through all the names of their other
kids before getting to the right name.
Speaker 7 (24:09):
My mom does that with them dogs like that through
the dog's names while trying to remember our names.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
And then this other one says, watching the shows that
your parents like comes with age. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
If you have one six one five, seven, three seven,
nine one seven.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Five of the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the
morning Corner.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
Of Americans are worried that they're turning into their parents,
that we're asking for those red flags.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
What that you do now reminds you of what your
parents used to do? Good Morning, Amy and Murphy's Burrow.
Are you turning into your mom?
Speaker 6 (24:40):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (24:41):
My mom?
Speaker 3 (24:42):
All day long?
Speaker 2 (24:44):
What do you do. That's just like your mom.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
Can't make a decision to save my life.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Try to do a million things at once and get
absolutely nothing done.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
Yep, that too.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
I think everyone can. I think that's just the way
of the world now, is that you always have so
much to do and you can never get all of
it done.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
You don't know where to start. You just end up
spinning in circles doing nothing.
Speaker 6 (25:04):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
Absolutely, Hey did you get your laugh on your mom?
Because I love it.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Oh, that is so sweet.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
I don't know where I got that from. It was
so cute. It made me smile when he laughed.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Mayby, we appreciate you listening to Colin. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
You guys are awesome. You're awesome. Have a great day, Amy,
thanks so.
Speaker 6 (25:22):
Much, Ricky, is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Not only did Chaperone have the biggest crowd at Lolla Plooza,
but she had another really cool moment that involved Blank
twin eighty two and It's today's daily double tap on
one oh seven five the River So Pink Pony Club
by Chaperone Bank very pony Club. Yes, a very well known, solid,
very fun song. Blank on eighty two interpolated it in
(25:48):
one of their songs during their set here it is. Oh,
that's how cool.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
I took it right into damn it.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
I love this. I love that they literally are paying
like respect to Chapel her own because obviously you must
respect her at this point. Yeah, it's huge right now,
but Blank Win eighty two is just an iconic band.
That's such a cool moment.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
That's very cool.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
I loved it so much. I had to share it,
and I will post it on one O seven five
the River's Instagram page so you can watch it.
Speaker 6 (26:26):
In the story Ricky, Zach and Manno in the Morning
on the River
