Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Well, all right, Monday morning, here we go, a brand
new week starts right now.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
Thanks for starting with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 4 (00:08):
I actually think.
Speaker 5 (00:09):
I'm going to happily watch the Emmys this year because
it's been announced that Eugene and Dan Levy are going
to host Love. If you don't know who they are, obviously,
Eugene's been around for a while in the industry. Dan
and him both together were in Bleep's Creek. That's since
they can't actually say the word, but they're in Bleep's
Creek created it together. They're a father son duo, which
(00:29):
is pretty cool. They're going to They've already made history
as a first father and son to win Emmys in
the same year for their work on Bleep's Creek, so
now they're going to do that again. They're going to
be in the history books for being the first father
son duo to host the Emmys together, which is really
cool and really adorable. The Emmys are going to happen
September fifteenth on ABC.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
You can watch them there.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
We're getting another Tim Morton's that is planned for Middle Tennessee.
This is going to be the third Tim Morton's location
that's planned, this time in Donaldson. Earlier this year, Tim
More announced two Moundubliet locations were in the works. We
don't have any opening date yet for the one in Donaldson,
so I will keep you posted, but they are planning
a lot more locations here in Middle Tennessee. It seems
(01:11):
like this is the hot spot and the mecca for
all of these chain restaurants and coffee places in Vince.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I agree with You're getting all the in and outs
and everything. It's really blowing up.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Really wild.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
And Craft is launching two new mac and cheese flavors.
So after receiving feedback that people wanted new, fun, different flavors,
they tried out twenty seven different ones. They used forty
different concepts to pick these two flavors.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Okay, so we're getting jalapegno and a ranch.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
I like that. They started to roll them out across
the country so you can find them at any grocery
store that you can find Craft items typically and try
out Lapenno and rich Amricky Sanchez, and those are the
three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
One s five of the River, Ricky Zach and manow
In the morning.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
You're looking for plans this weekend.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
The first color of the day on one oh seven
five the River is getting tickets to music City Brewers fast.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
It's happening on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, this Saturday Walk of Park. We got that right now.
For the first caller, we have this all week as well.
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Gonna have like over forty breweries out there, live music.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
He sucks all the stuff. First caller that day. If
you want it, it's yours one River, Ricky, Zach and
Mannow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Morning, it's one of seven, five the River. Who's this?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Candace?
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Candace? Where are you calling from?
Speaker 6 (02:23):
Sarna?
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Candace is Smyrna. It almost sounds like you're whispering. Candace.
Speaker 7 (02:28):
No, sorry, I keep your voice.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
I'm heading to school.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
You gotta get you gotta get ready for what grade
do you teach?
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Candace?
Speaker 7 (02:35):
Second grade?
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Okay, we just had a second grade teacher, I think
on Friday. For the first caller. It's such a great.
Speaker 7 (02:40):
Age, Yes it is.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
It's wonderful.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
I also just love that you have a teacher voice,
because I think the number one thing that we get
asked all the time is like, oh, what's your radio voice,
which is just the same voice that we have.
Speaker 7 (02:52):
Right, I've learned whispering gets more attention than writing your voice,
so wish that's.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
A great tips.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
You know, as a parent, I have two kids, I
wonder how I mean this goes without saying, but teachers
just have the superpower of getting a room full of
twenty kids to actually listen to them.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
I can't get two kids to listen to me. So
I guess whispering is part of this.
Speaker 7 (03:12):
Is they're the key. It says, if you can hear me,
touch your nose, and I'm telling you, it's better than hey, listen.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yeah, all right, good tidbit.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
It worked.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
That's so smart.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
All right, well, Candice, I know obviously you're going to
have a long week. Second grade is amazing and also tough.
So this weekend we're very excited to say you are
the first color of the day on one oh seven
five the River he gets to Music City first best.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Oh, my husband will love it.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Thank you so much, You're welcome, first caller of the
week technically, so congratulations.
Speaker 7 (03:43):
Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
You're so welcome.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
You deserve fifty to sixty dranks after a long week
and second grade.
Speaker 7 (03:52):
Oh well, I genuinely do appreciate it. That's so exciting
something to look forward to do at the end of
the week.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah, we appreciate you, We really do.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
You hang out on the line not only for listening,
but for for teaching as well, because that's a calling.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Hang on, so we get some info from you. Okay,
you sweetheart.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
That was nice.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
That was great. I love that We're gonna have these
again tomorrow and all week. I'm blushing.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
I was gonna say this spot like Kevin's face right now.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
We're here Friday.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
About this time, Ricky mentioned upcoming confrontation face to face
with her old high school bully.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
One of them.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Yeah, because she's dating my dad.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
That's true.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
And I was at a wedding that they were also
at and sitting at the same table.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
All right, we're gonna get the full report here.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
How it went Ricky and her old high school bully
who happens to be dating her dad.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
All true?
Speaker 4 (04:43):
Yep, can't make this up.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Promise so many minutes.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
We'll play Hozier after Taylor and then get the story
from Ricky on the River.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
All right, this is an exciting one. Gather around the radio.
This is like straight from Jerry Springer or so. Then
I just loved this story so much. It's one O
seven to five the river. Ricky set the table for
us again wedding this weekend.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
So this weekend I was at a wedding. It was
a big deal obviously because two of my.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
Favorite people were getting married, but also a big deal
for me personally because I was going to for the
first time be in the same vicinity of my dad
and his girlfriend. Which doesn't sound that strange for most people,
but my dad is dating a girl who I went
to high school with who used to bully me.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Totally true, one.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Hundred percent factual.
Speaker 5 (05:28):
My dad dates younger, which is whatever, but he chose
my bully this time. So they've been dating for like
two years at this point, we've never spent time together
all in one area. Because I just feel like that's
kind of strange.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
I know you were worried about that, Like before the holidays,
we were like, oh, it is Ricky going to come
face to pace with the bully.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
But that really didn't happen. It didn't happen until this weekend.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I think on purpose it didn't happen.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
So this weekend there was no avoiding it, and especially
no avoiding it because we were all sitting at the
same table at the wedding. Yeah, which makes sense. I
mean you would put a dad in the daughter kid
together at a table. So I was wondering if anything
was going to be said or done. I was really
hoping that nothing would, because obviously a wedding is not
the time or the place for us to be having
(06:10):
conversations about something like this. And I will say I
am very proud of myself because I have grown so
much when it comes to things like this. I was
completely unbothered, unfazed. We all got along, It was all
totally fine. I didn't speak much to her except for
when we were all kind of in groups, and I
think that was also on purpose on her end, which
(06:34):
is fine, and.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
I was totally cool with that.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
There were like two moments where the two of us
were left alone, and it was very awkward and very strange,
but we made it through and nothing got dicey.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Or rude or your mom or anything.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
No, let me tell you what I'm not gonna do.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I tell you what would do younger, less mature Ricky
have done in that situation.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
I would have started it off with what the heck.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Is going on?
Speaker 4 (06:57):
Why are we doing this?
Speaker 5 (06:59):
And I would have felt like I needed to say
something yeah, when sometimes you just don't.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
And that comes with.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Growth and maturity. And here I am now very proud
of myself. But at the end of the day, nothing
bad happened. Everything was great. We had such a good
time AJ and I at the wedding. He was also
very sweet and very kind, and I highly suggest having
someone in your life to share with who can do
things like this. He was like, do you want a
code word where like if you're uncomfortable, mart, we can walk.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Away things like that.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
Like he always was trying to make sure that I
felt good and I felt comfortable, which also helped me
feel comfortable.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
If you're proud of yourself, I'm proud of you too,
that's that's great.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
I know Zach wanted you to like get in a
fistfight or some of them with that shocker didn't happen.
Can I just ask last thing, what was your code word.
Did you guys have a code word?
Speaker 5 (07:40):
We didn't make one up. I was like, it's gonna
be fine, Age, It's gonna be fine. Everything's okay. He
asked me like four times though, Yeah, which, like I said,
just made me feel better that I knew somebody had
my back.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
If necessary, you demonstrated growth.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Thank you, Three things you need to know?
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Are you ready for a brand new week? You better be,
because it's here. Happy Monday friends. Thank you for starting
with us.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Rick, He's got those three things one way to.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Get people hyped out.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Lots of dating rumors floating around right now. It looks
like Sabrina Carpenter and her boyfriend, actor Barry Kyogan may
have broken up. Neither of them have confirmed or denied
this rumor, but there's been stories that the couple is
very on and off, partially because of Barrie's party lifestyle,
which then kind of leads to a little wonderings of
(08:21):
if there's cheating going on or anything like that. Also
kind of makes sense because her latest single, Please Please Please,
talks about not wanting to be embarrassed by the person
that she's with little and yes, it's being said that
he is quite the party animal and gets pretty out
of hand when he's you know, out at these parties.
So we'll see if they actually say anything about it
(08:42):
themselves to confirm or deny this. And now for something
a little more positive on the dating rumors, it looks
like singer Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn from Stranger Things
are dating. They were seen out about holding hands, getting cozy,
you know, all that good stuff. If you remember, Doja
Cat reached out to Joseph of Quinn's cast Made and
Stranger Things and said, you need to hook us up,
(09:04):
like that's right?
Speaker 3 (09:05):
That was the little man.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
He had then posted and shared the dms and it
ultimately led to a little bit of arguments, a little
tension between.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Doja Cat and Noah Shaft. But it looks like it
all worked out for Dojo because she.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
Has met him and it looks like they're having a
good time, so good for her. Home Run Derby X
is happening at First Rise in Park next weekend. This
is really cool so you can see MLB Legends, softball stars,
local Middle Tennessee participants. They're all going to be competing
in this home run competition. The event is happening Saturday,
August thirty first, from five thirty to nine pm. You
can buy tickets on their website.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Very cool.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Back into the Tunes with Benson Boone right up to this,
We're all going to learn something together.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Zax Fax on the River next.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one seven.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Our buddy Zach is out this week, but before he left,
he recorded some facts for us because everybody loves Zach's
Fax on one oh seven the River.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
What you got? Do you know the word that everybody
says whenever they're taking a photo and.
Speaker 6 (10:04):
They say say jeez, yeah, it used to be say
prunes because it was back in the day because whenever
people would smile, they would want their mouth like tighter
instead of like a big teethy smile, so they would
say say prune frud.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
I can kind of see that coming back with like
duck lips and stuff. Yeah, so that's what it used
to be, and that's your fact of the day.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Prunes.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
I'm gonna get myself in the camera right now. Runes.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
You look cool, Prunes.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
No, I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Ricky is zach and Manno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Is it okay to beat your kids at games?
Speaker 5 (10:39):
It's Ricky zach Amano in the morning on one O
seven five the River. I'm asking this because I don't
have any kids, Kevin, you have two. Our boss has
a kid, and I was having a conversation with our
boss and he was just laying into the fact that
he beat his kids so bad at mini golf, and
he was so proud of you, so proud of himself.
(11:00):
As he said, his kid was talking smack and He's like,
I had to put him in his place and I
beat him.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
At mini golf, and I was like, let the kid win.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
No mercy.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
I just don't know what that's like though, because I
don't have kids, So I'm wondering is it okay to
beat your kids at games?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
My wife, My wife and I have talked about this.
I really do have my own opinion on this. I'll
share that in a minute, but I'd love to hear
from smothers as well. Six one five, seven, three seven,
nine one oh seven. Where do you stand on it?
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Are you like Jonathan just no mercy whatsoever?
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Joe hold meg let us know six, one five, seven,
three seven, nine, one oh seven.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on one
seven five the River.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
So Frankie and Murphysboro, welcome to one oh seven five
the River.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
How many kids do you have, Frankie?
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Three?
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Three kids?
Speaker 5 (11:41):
Is it okay to beat your kids at games like
fun activities?
Speaker 7 (11:44):
Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yes, I agree with you. Frankie.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Oh okay, Well, how old are your kids? Frankie nine,
seven and five, and you're okay beating the five year
old at games?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
They've got the word uh huh.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
I do think Frankie, maybe you can relate to this.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
But when my son he's when he was younger, I
would let him win stuff and he would take it
real hard if he would lose. But then we got
to a certain point where it was like, all right,
he's not a baby anymore.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
We gotta beat him, we gotta teach him.
Speaker 7 (12:09):
My dad me. I grew up at Chuck E Cheese
and my dad showed me no mercy in air hockey.
So tradition continues.
Speaker 5 (12:17):
Your dad is just like our boss Jonathan. Then he
just no mercy, no holding back. He's like, I'm just
gonna play you like I would play any.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Of my friends.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
Absolutely.
Speaker 7 (12:25):
I mean I think you have to teach them they
can't always win.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah, we have noticed with some of our friends, the
kids whose parents beat them at games, board games, whatever
it might be, they are the most graceful in defeat. Now,
like if the parents have been, you know, showing no
mercy for years, the kids understand it.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
At this point.
Speaker 7 (12:44):
Yeah, I mean I think there's sometimes like you can
do it. But on the whole, I do not let
my kids win.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
That's great. I think it's good. Frankie.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
All right, Frankie, thank you so much for your opinion.
Speaker 7 (12:52):
Have a great day, y'all do Thank you.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Bye.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Let's get one more opinion. Heather in Nashville.
Speaker 7 (12:57):
What do you think, absolutely it is absolutely to beat
your child. I didn't even wait, whoa whoa whoa whoa.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Whoa wo in game games clarified games not just beat
your child?
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Uh yeah, not only is it okay, I think it's necessary.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
I really really do. Honestly, even when she was little,
I didn't let her win in candy Land or Shoots
and Ladders. I'm sorry, but I don't agree with a
participation trophy. I'm not gonna let my kid win. You
gotta win on your own, Heather.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Do you gloat when you win? To you sound like
someone who would gloat, You'd be like, ha ha beat you. Absolutely,
I sensed it. I felt it.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Well yeah, not only I mean, are you teaching invaluable
life lessons?
Speaker 3 (13:35):
But it still feels good to win.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
What do you have good after you beat your kids
at games? I do, Kevin, it doesn't matter a win win, Heather, thank.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
You for calling.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
I have a great day, love.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
If anybody's on the other side of the six one five, seven,
three seven, nine one seven, I'm.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
In shock and awe right now.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yeah, maybe eat my.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Kids if you're playing them in anything, Ricky, I would
feel terrible doing that.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Ricky is and manno in the morning on the river.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
You know, I am shocked at the amount of people
that are agreeing with our boss about this topic.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
All these calls all across the board saying yes, it's
okay to beat your kids at games.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
Jimmy and Murphy's Boro, what do you think is it
okay to beat your kids at games?
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Hey?
Speaker 8 (14:17):
Honestly, I have a seventeen year old, a fourteen year old,
and a seven year old, and for me. They have
to lose. They have to tap into that emotion if
I'm losing. If they always win, and they're not gonna
know what it's like to feel that that sweet feeling
when they do win it.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
So that's what I do.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
Okay, Jimmy, did you wait till a certain age to
start beating them at games?
Speaker 4 (14:39):
Or was it always that way?
Speaker 8 (14:41):
Really? When they were like three or four years old,
it was always fun. So I kind of let them
win then. But as they get older and they're more
into school and they don't really deal with real life situations,
you know, I really start to get a little more
aggressive and beat them at things, you know, and I
do fish, pump and yell out loud.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Well, Jimmy, that day will come when they start beating
you at everything.
Speaker 8 (15:04):
You're right, and I hope to take care of me
when I'm in my.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yeah, it sounds like you're a great dad, and I'm
sure that they will.
Speaker 8 (15:12):
H Thank you, guys. I appreciate it. Have a good day.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Yeah, you two, Jimmy, Ricky, Zach and Mano. In the mornings,
game time.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Oh, I see what you did there, Kevin.
Speaker 5 (15:28):
We're playing Kevin Bando's Game of the Day presented by
Genesis Diamonds for Green Day tickets. They're gonna be a
Giodas Park August thirtieth.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Oh my gosh, that's so soon.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
So soon.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
You can win the ticket if you play the game.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
You got Rancid with him. I love Rancid.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
It's the Green Game this week, and I'm gonna switch
it up. We're into things a little bit different this week.
Kind of a different game every single day. Okay, So
today it's gonna be about green characters. There's lots of
them out there. A little quiz on green characters. And
here's the thing. Here's the twist.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
You gotta get three out of five rights, three out
of five. He's lost.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
He's doing on we normally do you at three?
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Hey, I woke up today. I just I felt a
little aggressive.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
So yeah, now I'm just finding out about this.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
We're going forth three out of five of these to
get the tickets.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Call us right now six, one, five, seven, three seven, nine,
one oh seven if you want to play the Green
Game for Green Day on the River, We're doing it next.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
On Lisa in Nashville.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
Good morning, It's Kevin Mano's Game of the Day on
one O seven five river.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Are you ready to play Kevin Mano's Game of the Day?
Speaker 7 (16:31):
Yes, I am, all right.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
You gotta get three out of five of these to
Lisa for tickets to see Green Day. There're gonna be
questions about green characters, green people. Okay, alrighty, the Green
Game starts right now.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
To Lisa.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Everyone's favorite ogre. We'll be back in theaters for a
fifth movie in twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Who is that ogre?
Speaker 7 (16:51):
Shrek?
Speaker 4 (16:52):
Okay, that was an easy one.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Started easy, started easy, We're easing in.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
It made news when what Green can Andy mascot swapped
out boots for sensible flats.
Speaker 8 (17:06):
That's find of easy.
Speaker 7 (17:10):
Candy, you said, green candy. Yeah, I really don't know.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
It was the green eminem okay, and people were outraged
that they made her get rid of her boots.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
It was a big deal. But that's okay, that's okay,
you're still in it.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
You wouldn't like me when I'm angry is a quote
associated with What Marvel.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Character Nice Nice do there?
Speaker 3 (17:38):
You need one more to win? A little green gown
named Disgust is a character in What Animated.
Speaker 8 (17:43):
Movies inst out.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Nice job.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
You only needed four questions to do it. You went
tickets to see Green Day.
Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yes, awesome PLESA hang on the line, Okay, we gotta
get some info from you, all right, thank.
Speaker 8 (17:57):
You, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Green Day. Giodis August thirtieth. It's gonna be a great show.
They always put on a good show. We're gonna play
the Green game again tomorrow, gonna switch up. It's gonna
be a little different to me. Different vibes, green vibe.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Green vibes all the way, different game.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Three things you need to know a few minutes past
eight o'clock on this Monday morning, Thank you for being here.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
Olympia Noah Lyles and football player Tyreek Hill are beefing
right now and it's quite the experience. So Tyreek claimed
on a podcast that he could beat the gold medalists
in a race.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Oh really, bord nolliles, the fastest man.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
In the world.
Speaker 5 (18:32):
No won the golds for one hundred meters race at
the Olympics this year. Now, Noah has said some choice
things about Tyreek, like that he doesn't know his name
and that he's irrelevant. He's clout chasing all these things.
Now the two have been going back and forth about
racing each other to see who is fastest. No word
on if this is gonna happen, if it ever does,
but if it does, I will let you know because
I think that's gonna be great to Yes, I hope
(18:53):
it does, gonna be great to watch. This is a
quick BNA update for Concourse b So there's a bunch
of upgrades happening to Concourse be at BNA. So in
the meantime, they're going to be renumbering the concourse. So
make sure that if you are going there that you
are like keeping an eye on all the signs because
you may think you know where you're going, but everything
is kind of being restructured right now. All of the
(19:14):
actual work is taking place overnight, so you shouldn't see
any issues or delays or anything like that during the day,
but just pay attention to the new signage so that
you know where you're going, don't get lost.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Do you do that thing at the airport, like before
you get on the flight, you walk to your gate
just to make sure it's there, and then you go
eat or do.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Whatever to waste. You just have to see it first
before you sit.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
Down, so I gotta know how far it is from
where I want to sit. You know, there's a place
that's right next to it. To make my life a
little easier. I always do that every time egg prices
have gone up for a third consecutive month. So prices
climbed nineteen point one percent in July compared to the
same month last year.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
Obviously not great.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
They're saying that the reason is the Avian influenza, also
known as the bird flu. So we're hoping that obviously
everything will kind of balance out again. But if you
go to the grocery store and you see egg prices
are really high, that's why. Or if you're like me,
where I don't even realize because I don't look at
the prices, and then I leave and I go, how
did I spend so much money? And then you have
to look back, it's all because of that. So hopefully
(20:09):
everything balances out soon. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
the three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
What's something that people pretend to like but secretly hate.
It's Ricky Zach and Mano in the morning on one
oh seven five the River. I have this full list
of things that people have said to answer this question,
and some of them makes sense to me, and some
of them I'm shocked by.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
So things like people are basically pretending to like, this
is no way you they can like it.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
In your opinion, yeah, but they but they pretend like
they do.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
I have one in my mind, but I'm hesitant to say.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
You seem very hesitanting in front of.
Speaker 9 (20:45):
You, Ricky, because I feel like this might not go
over well. But going do you want to share going
to weddings? I know you don't have a wady coming up,
but I don't really like going to weddings. But I'm
sure yours is gonna be great. Six one five, seven, three,
seven nine seven. What's something you think people are just
pretending to like they secretly hate us?
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Oh, Man, Ricky, Zach and Manno In the morning on the.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
River minutes ago, Ricky asked things people just pretend to
like they actually secretly hate them, but to pretend they
like them.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
I said, going to weddings, And I'm sorry, I know
you have a wedding coming out, but you know they
can be It's a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
And it's a lot of money. The money you'll make
small talk with people. And I don't like to dance
and stuff, but I'm really looking forward to your wedding.
Speaker 5 (21:30):
I'm shocked that you say you don't like to dance,
because you dance in the studio quite often, not.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Well, but you do it.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
I don't like to dance in front of a lot
of people because I can't. Okay, you and Zach whatever,
you watch me.
Speaker 4 (21:42):
You're comfortable with us. I like that that works.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
I saw this like list of people on Reddit that
were just going in on things that people pretend to
like but secretly hate, and I'm shocked by a lot
of these because they don't bother me. Oh okay, so
like this list has having the restaurant staff sing happy
birthday to you.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I don't like when people saying heavy, even if it's friends.
I don't like it.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
It makes me feel like I love it Happy birthday. Okay,
I don't mind it at all. I don't mind it
at all. But see I love it, but pretend to
hate it.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
Stop up, you don't.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Need to sing. But I am sharing a lot right now.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
This says four to five dollars coffee my four to
five dollars coffee is delightful, But.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Doesn't it drive you crazy? You're spending that much money
on a couple of coffee.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
Everything is expensive. Now, there's not much that we could
do about it.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Yeah, okay, all right, you.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Gotta just accept your point.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
Workplace small talk I know you hate, Yeah, you hate it,
you hate any kind of small talk.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
I kind of love it.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
I feel like it's a revealing Wow, the way that
somebody reacts to a question, it's very revealing. And then
I get to know who they are, and then I
get they go into categories. I have categories of people
that I work with.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
I would rather jump out the window than have to
do any of that.
Speaker 5 (22:50):
There's also school plays, which I don't have to go
to school plays, so I.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Can't relate to that one.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
No comments, okay. And LinkedIn. People can't believe that people
are so excited to talk about their work. I think
LinkedIn is fun.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
I have friends, like professional friends that their only social
media that they do is LinkedIn.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Yeah, they love it.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
I see, now they're wrong with this. So this list
