But first Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
Stephen Nadroe Stick, also known as pommel Horse Dude, is
the first celebrity to join Dancing with the Stars. So
this upcoming season, it's the thirty third season of Dancing
with the Stars, is going to have the Olympic pommel
horse medalist Steven Naderski a NW drastick.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
I say it wrong.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
Every time, Stick, I say it wrong every time, and
I want to say it right so badly. So the
nation fell in love with him after he helped secure
the men's team for their first Olympic medal in sixteen years.
Everyone was obsessed with him and he turned into the
meme that everybody was not expecting from the Olympics. And
now you can watch him on Dancing.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
With the Stars.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
Starts September seventeenth. The full lineup is going to be
announced September fourth. This is just a little taste so far.
The Little League World Series is nearing its end. It's
almost done. The championship game is happening this Sunday, But
as of now, there are four teams left, Lake Mary, Florida, Venezuela, Bernie,
Texas and Chinese TYPEI. So all four of those teams
(07:00):
are going to play tomorrow against each other Texas versus Florida,
Venezuela versus Chinese Taipei. And whoever ends up winning those
games is who's going to go on to the championship
on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
And then it's done. It's kind of.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Really crazy how intense this is, because every year I
look more and more into it, and these little kids
are just phenomenal.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
But talk about the pressure. Wild Wild to watch.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
And five Points Pizza is doing their annual customer appreciation Night,
So on Tuesday, September tenth, either at their East or
West locations from five to seven pm, you can get
a free slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza, So go enjoy.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
I'm Urkiy Sanchez And those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
One Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the Morning's.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Zach'spack's one with seventy five the river Take it away, buddy.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Have you ever thought about going to space? Yes, all
the time.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
I think I belong in space. Well, if you're in
outer space and do you know that you can't burb
That's amazing. I'd love to hear.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
It, because there's no gravity which is necessary to like
separate the solid liquids and gases that you can't burp
in space.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
I had no idea, And that's your fact of the day.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
I've noticed this new trend amongst my friends and it's
very unsettling for me. Okay, So a lot of them,
my guy friends, are telling me that their girlfriends.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Know when they're going to propose to them.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
They go pick out.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
The ring together, they have a date set of when
it's gonna happen. And it's really really strange to me.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
That's a trend.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
You think this is like the fourth time this week
that somebody has said this to me.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
So just completely removing the element of surprise out of
a proposal.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
No surprise whatsoever. So like, are guys getting lazy? Are
women getting too demanding?
Speaker 4 (08:42):
And how they.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Want that's probably the proposal to be Okay, Kevin, settle.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Down over there, six seven, nine seven.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
If you have a thought, an opinion of theory, if
you've been in this position, six one five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
We'd love to hear it from. I'm sure there's lots
of different angles here. For sure.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
We have our own opinion that we will share as well.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yes we do. I like that thing about the women
getting too pushy.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Six.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
We're getting into it.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Next on the River, Ricky is Zach and Manno in
the morning.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
On the River, Amie and Portland.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
Tell me if this trend amongst my guy friends is normal?
Speaker 4 (09:17):
What's going on here?
Speaker 5 (09:18):
All of their girlfriends know when they're getting proposed to.
There's no element of surprise whatsoever.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
Yes, so I completely agree. I'm not sure why that is,
but I know that that was definitely the case for me.
I have picked out my own proposal dates.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Really why.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
So my boyfriend is actually getting the ployd and we
kind of decided that we wanted to just make that
next step before he does get the ployed. Yeah, and
so we kind of disagree, like, hey, we're gonna get
married in January, and I just told him, Hey, if
you want to propose, that's totally it to you. But
my birthday's next month, so that's a good day to
do it.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Okay, Well, first of all, thank him for his services
and thanks to you for you know, supporting him.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
That one makes sense to me.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
I get your angle, Jamie, because obviously there's something pressing
that's happening, so you feel like, you know, let's get
it done before then. But I mean, there's no element
of surprise, and I wish like you could be surprised, Jamie.
Speaker 6 (10:13):
Yeah, I guess so. I mean, we've been together for
four years, so it's kind of something that we've been
talking about for a while now. I can't really say why.
I guess it's just because I don't really like surprises.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Okay, that's fair.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Did this happen? Did he propose on your birthday?
Speaker 6 (10:29):
It's actually next month, so.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
So happy early engagement and we are.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
So happy for you. Congratulations and happy early birthday.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
But yes, please send us pictures of when the proposal happens.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
We'd love to see that.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I mean, if it happens. But yes, send us pictures.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
It's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
It hasn't happened yet, it happens, cross call us back.
Speaker 6 (10:49):
Okay, all right, thank you guys.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Bye love.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Let's say good morning to Davis Anne in Nashville. What's
your take on this?
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Hi.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
So I'm with my friends right now. We're just say hey, yeah, okay,
Hi guys.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
We appreciate you listening.
Speaker 6 (11:08):

Speaker 1 (11:09):

Speaker 6 (11:10):
We love listening to you guys in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
So great. Tell your friends, okay, spread the word.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
We don't have any money for marketing, so to tell
all your friends to listen to the river.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
Question for you guys, when I know you're young right now,
you're very.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
How old are you?
Speaker 4 (11:25):
I'm eleven eleven?
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Okay, so you're eleven right now when you get proposed
to eventually one day, do you want to be surprised?
Speaker 8 (11:35):
I would say, yeah, yeah, okay, see that's what I'm
talking about.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
You should be surprised. It shouldn't be this planned thing.
Thank you so much for that.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Thank you, Thank you guys. Listen, have a great day,
and again, tell your friends.
Speaker 6 (11:49):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Follow zach Is normally when the screens are calls and
he's out so the live radio.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
I love that though.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
And you know what, you're eleven.
Speaker 5 (11:58):
You're thinking about marriage sometimes, like you're thinking, yay.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
I was not. I wasn't because I was jaded, but
most of my girlfriends were.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
They were all thinking about their wedding dresses and where
they wanted to get married.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, I was thinking about pop tarts and Nintendo.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
That's the difference between dudes and girls.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning, eating in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Do you want to be surprised? Do you have an
opinion on this?
Speaker 6 (12:24):
I do, because but I've already planned everything out where
I want to get my jack. I want to go
to clients Field Ranny, but I want to be surprised.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Hold on, Okae, Kevin.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
This is the difference between little girls and little boys.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
At the beginning. How old are you eating? I'm twelve, twelve,
happy birthday? How who is Randy?
Speaker 8 (12:42):
What?
Speaker 4 (12:42):
Who from the show? Say yes to the dress?
Speaker 8 (12:45):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (12:46):
Yes, I'm binge watcher all the time.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
See Kevin is so clueless eating?
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Wow, do you have a boyfriend or like a guy?
Speaker 8 (12:53):
In mind.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
That second?
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Take your time eating, Take your time.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
You're gonna find the right guy and it's gonna be perfect,
and you're gonna find your perfect dress.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
And it's all gonna be amazing.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
That's cool. Honestly, it's kind of blowing my mind.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I didn't realize the girls, Uh, it's on about it
at such a young age.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
And now I think you're panicking about your daughter thinking
about it kind of soon, aren't you a little.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Bit a little bit? Dan, thanks for calling.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
That's problem.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Ricky, is Zach and Manno in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (13:22):

instead of thumbs up.

Starring Jimmy Fallon, so she has some idea of how
to do this. She also has the best personality though
she's energetic. It's gonna be great to watch her actually
host and have it fully be hers. The awards show
is set for September eleventh in New York. You can
watch it.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Then.
Speaker 5 (17:29):
A Nashville teacher gave students free sneakers through her Drip
Drive nonprofit. This is really amazing, but Kayla Nash is
her name. She's a teacher at John Early Middle School
in North Nashville. She gave one hundred Nike Air Force
ones to kids thanks to JD's Sports and Finish line.
So when talking about giving back to her community, she
said a lot of her kids issues that she noticed
(17:50):
stemmed from.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
Their appearance and feeling confident in themselves.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
She said, quote a lot of these problems stem from
their appearance, not.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Wanting to go in class because of the shoes that
they have on or how they looked in the morning.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
So it was basically just a way for me to
give those resources to children. So her Drip Drive nonprofit
now has four different events a year, and this is
their goal is to give kids not only shoes, but complete,
full outfits that they can feel confident in.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
It's really amazing. Mikaela Nash is her name. Drip Drive
is the.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
Name of the nonprofit. If you want to look it up,
maybe you donate to it as well. It's going to
our community.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
United Airlines has.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
Added twenty flights to get fans to college football games.
Apparently there's just been a surge in attendance from last season.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
A lot of people want to watch these college football
games in person.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
So they're adding twenty NonStop flights and they have larger
plans for one hundred and fifteen specific flights to all
help people get to these college games a lot easier.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
So they're expanding these services. There's a bunch of different
places listeners here.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
I'm not going to go through all of the places,
but go check it out. United Airlines has a full
list of new flights that they have added America Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
It's cool, that's smart if there's a demand for it,
for sure.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
After last last year, last season, the figures went up.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
River, how do you foster your long distance relationships? This
could be friendships or romantic whichever one. It's Ricky Zacamano
in the Morning on one O seven five the River.
Kevin's asking this question specifically.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Well, yeah, my friend Tim, he's one of my best friends.
He was just in town.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
It was great to see him and we got to talking.
But God, we should do this more often. He lives
in Saint Louis. He's got, you know, a wife and
little kids and stuff, and it's just hard.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
But we did come up with a plan. The plan,
I don't know if we're ever going to do this,
but is to meet in Paducah, Kentucky.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Paducah, Kentucky, it is exactly halfway between Nashville and Saint Louis.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Okay, it's like a two hour and ten minute drive.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Both figure that he just opened up a map. Yeah, okay, we'll.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Get at the map.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
It's creat if Yeah, maybe like a day we'd go
get lunch and go see a movie and hang out
or something and then just.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Both drive home.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
You know, I don't know if we'll actually do it,
but that's the plan. So I started asking Ricky the questions,
and now we're asking you how do you foster these
long term relationships?
Speaker 2 (20:07):
In my case it is a friendship, but yeah, relationships
as well. There's plenty of about that.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Yeah, long distance can be tough.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
So six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
If you have any advice.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the river.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
Do you want to know how you foster your long
distance relationships? Because Kevin specifically has one that he's like
trying to find creative ways to keep it going.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
My friend timmy lives in Saint Louis, one of my
best friends. We just decided that we're going to meet
in Paduca, Kentucky at some point in the future to just, uh.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
You know, I have lunch meet up there. And then
each return home because it's halfway, which is.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
A very creative way to do this. Eric and Hendersonville.
Do you have any tips on.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
How to foster long distance relationships?
Speaker 8 (20:47):
I really don't have a good answer for that. Over
and I have a couple of friendships that I talked
to them whenever I can online or a voice chef.
But I was going to play. Paduca, Kentucky is a
great plight and that town is fantastic.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Okay, so give me some advice, some tips to do
things to do in Paduca.
Speaker 8 (21:07):
I would go get barbecue.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
I'm vegetarian.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Your friend can have the barbecue's vegetarian. You're a vegetarian. Oh, Eric,
they're both vegetarian.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
We'll have the sides. We'll have like the corn and stuff. Okay, Well,
that's good to know about Paduca.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
I've never been there, so I'm happy to know that
we're going to meet up in a in a cool spot.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Thank you for calling it, Eric, We appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
What are the chances that the place that you and
your friend you want to meet out is Paduca, Kentucky.
And there's a guy here listening to us right now.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Who's from Paduca, Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Have you ever heard of Paduca? No, I've never heard
of it, had not either.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
I think that's great though. Now you know it's at
least a cool spot. You can't have the barbecue, but
I might go to Paduca, Kentucky to get some barbecue.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
I bring them back to you, beautiful, simplify things.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Daily double Tap on one O seven five the River.
We always pick a video that's either gone viral or
something that we.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Think is really cool that we want to show you.
This one is super cool. It's Jelly Roll.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
He surprised the Titans and he ended up doing like
a sing along with them. So Tovandre Sweat got called
up and he had to sing with Jelly Roll. And
I say had to because it's like you're singing next
to Jelly Roll. Let's that's a lot about and you
see him, you'll hear him.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
Kind of become more and more confident as a song goes.
Speaker 7 (22:39):
On, ask me, So there you go, you baby do
base Jo cab.
Speaker 8 (22:58):
Deep.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
What a great moment. Oh my gosh, that's so cool.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
He starts out real low, little shy a little nervous.
Then he really gets into it and it is a
very cool moment.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
It honestly gave me goosebumps. Right, it's very cool.
Speaker 8 (23:19):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
I'm gonna post it. Don't worry you to watch it.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
