Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yes, yes, yes, Good morning friends, Happy Thursday. It's already Thursday.
Love it.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things as we start this day.

Speaker 4 (00:09):
Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for a
fifth season. Fourth season just started. It started to release
the weekly episodes. Last week's they were only on episode two.
I watched it last night and they've already said we're
doing a season five. Prior to the season, the show's
been super popular, even with critics. I mean, it received
twenty one Emmy nominations for season three, so obviously they're

(00:30):
doing something right. I don't know how many murders can
happen in the building and how long this can go on,
but I'm here for because I do love the series.
Like I said, fourth season is out right now. There's
two episodes to watch on Hulu if you want to.
Let's get into spooky spirits. Chipotle has announced their first
ever Halloween costume line and it is weird as heck.

(00:53):
So they collapsed with Spirit Halloween to make a Chipotle napkin,
a fork, a water cup, a burrito wrap, and a
to go bag. They're very silly, especially the fork one
I'm going to post what they all look like on
one of step and five of the River's instagram count
in the story so that you can see for yourself.
They're all gonna be available for purchase on September sixth,
So this Friday you can go buy your Chipotle themed

(01:16):
Halloween costume. If you feel the need to, please stay
away from the Fork. I just I don't understand the
fork costume whatsoever. And when you see it, you're going
to understand why I don't understand it. And country singer
Riley Green's Bar is now officially open. Duck Bline has
taken over the former winter spot in Midtown, so the
whole place is inspired by Riley's love for the outdoors.

(01:37):
The vibe is rustic, it's laid back. They're gonna have
live music. Menu is filled with his favorite comfort foods
like steak biscuits, duck fries, and pot roast. Like I said,
it's open in Midtown, go check it out when you
get a chance. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the
three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
One oh seven, five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
I am so pumped for this Megan Trainer is gonna
be at First Bank Amphitheater September tenth. I'm going to
the show so excited. But you cannot only go to
the show, you'll also get passes to exclusive pre show
soundcheck if you are the first caller of the day
on one O seven five The River.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
It's gonna be a real small group of people. They're
like our winners watching her soundcheck. Are you gonna go
early for the soundcheck?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I'm gonna try to like sneak my way into the
sound check if i can get somebody to let me in.
But I'm excited for the concerts, okay, and.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
One for sure, I'm going six one five, seven, three
seven nine one o seven. Ricky might be there with
you watching Mega Tree. Maybe you can invite her as
your plus one to the subjeck because she needs a ticket.
But the first caller of the day, I want to
seven five the River. We're talking to you next one.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning,
Julia in Nashville, Good morning, welcome to one oh seven
five the River. Happy Thursday, nay too.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
It's it's awesome that it's Thursday. Nice short week. Tell
us everything about yourself, Julia.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
What do you do? Where do you work? Start at
the beginning. Where were you born?

Speaker 5 (02:55):
I'm a therapist at Vanderbilt.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Amazing. I literally every time I'm astonished by the amount
of people in the medical field who call us and
then tell us what they do because none of us
could do your job.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
We're dummies.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah, I have a fun job.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Too, we do.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
It just doesn't take a lot of brain power for
us as different kind of brain power.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Do you specialize in a certain like part of the
body with the physical therapy or just all around?

Speaker 6 (03:21):
I do want a public floor?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
And then see the second word. I don't even know
what that is, but is a lymphanema. It's chronic dwelling,
typically related from cancer. Oh wow, Julia, thank you for
being you and for doing what you do. That all
sounds so important and like we already said, way smarter
than what we do. We appreciate you so much, Dollie

(03:45):
for what you do, but for listening to us. You
are the first caller of the day on one of
seventy five the river.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
That's a fun thing for Thursday, Yeah, that Tuesday night.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Megan Train or first bake ampitheater. You will be there.
Plus you have the sound check passes, so you get.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Like a real intimate private performance from her before the
even the show begins.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Oho, congratulations, thank you, and you'll see Ricky out there.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
She'll be there with you.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
I will be there, Okay, great.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
All right, thanks again for doing what you're doing, Julia.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
We appreciate you, and thanks for being here. All right,
hang on, we have more tomorrow, last chance of the
week to get these Tomorrow right here with the first
caller of the.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Night, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
On Ricky wants to know if she's a bad person
because of what she did last night, her plans last
night that did not involve her FI.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
I had very specific plans last night, but it didn't
involve him.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
On.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
It was I feel like I have to explained myself already.
I'm getting fluxed.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Oka play Billie Eilish, will play Benson Boone. Then Ricky's
gonna tell her story. We'll all decide together if she's
a bad person.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Next on the River one.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
In the Morning and some Bone It's one oh seven
five River Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Ricky wants to know if she's a bad person.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Yes, well I whoa Zach was very quick to jump
on the yes vandwagon there. I feel like I could
be considered a bad person, but I think this is normal.
I had the entire apartment to myself last night, which
was amazing. My fiance he had to go on a
trip with the kids at his school. They do like

(05:19):
an overnight team bonding type time Vibe show, so he
did that last night. So he was gone all day
yesterday into the night. He comes back today. So I
made all these big, lavish plans for myself. And by
big lavish plans, I mean I sat on the couch,
I had a glass of wine, and I watched all
of my favorite shows.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
You were so excited about it yesterday.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
I literally was thrilled, and I felt bad because I
was excited to have just a night to myself. I
haven't had any time by myself or for myself.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
I'll tell you right now, that does not make you
a bad person. That makes you a normal person.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I love my wife so much, such a happy, healthy relationship.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
But yeah, night by yourself. There's something to be said
for that.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
I missed him, don't get me ah, huh, I did.
I missed him, but I was very happy to have
that moment by myself, especially because I haven't had any time.

Speaker 8 (06:08):
I think it makes your relationship stronger, like, hey, yeah,
I can still enjoy time by myself and I'm gonna
miss you, but I can't wait for you to come home.
But I think it's healthy to have time by yourself
and focus on things that are important to you, like
watching your favorite TV shows and just relaxing without having
anybody else in your space for a minute.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
It was lovely.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
I love you. Watch.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
I watched the latest season of Murders in the Building,
and then I watched uh the new the show tell
Me Lies the new US.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Are you sure you did?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Kid?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah, happened.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Remember I couldn't think of the actual name, but it
was tell Me Lies. The first two episodes are out,
so I watched both of those episodes. Yeah, and then
only Murders in the Building. So I catched up on
everything that I wanted to catch up on, and I
just literally sat there and was like, this is so nice.
And then I went to bed so early. I was
in bed by night.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
And like Zack said, I think it's health.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Honestly, I've done such a bad job of kind of
making me time over the last number of years since
we had kids and stuff. Yeah, and my wife and
I've been talking a lot about it, and I'm finally
going to start doing. Like I'm going to Vegas in
a couple weeks for the iHeart Festival. That's my first
time away from my wife and kids. Our daughter Molly
was born eight years ago. So yeah, it's important to
have that time yourself.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
I feel rejuvenated. Guys, I feel so much better today.
You look thank you even though you have bad before. Yeah,
I've appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Just past seven o'clock on this Thursday morning, had o friends,
Thanks for being here.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Oh it just got really cold in the studio.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Oh, let me turn the heat up while you're doing
your all.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Three row And canceled a bunch of scalper tickets for
her upcoming national concert at First being Amphitheater. She made
a post yesterday saying that her team noticed a lot
of bots and scalpers like ate up all the tickets
when she first launched them. So they've gone back and
canceled those tickets. Which is the first time I'm hearing
of somebody doing this. Obviously other people may have done it,
this is the first time I'm hearing about it. She's

(07:56):
re releasing those tickets in order for people who are
her fans to actually get them. So, if you're looking
for these tickets, you have to go through a little
bit of a jumping through hoops. You got to go
to chaperone dot request dot ticketmaster dot com to request tickets.
You have the opportunity to do that through the ticketmaster
website until ten am today. If you end up getting

(08:18):
picked for the tickets that you put in, you will
then be charged. If you are not, you won't be charged.
So when you sign up, you have to pick your
preferred tickets and a payment method. She knows that this
is like a lot of hoops that you have to
jump through. She had said in her video. I know
this is a lot of extra steps, but it's the
best way that they foresee that they can handle it,
because obviously we're still trying to figure out how to

(08:38):
combat bots and stoppers. When it comes to this, Max
is bringing back Barney I am so excited about this.
Millennials rejoice. Barney was my favorite show growing up. When
I was little, I watched it every day. I had
Barney at my birthday party and lost my mind. Yeah,
I know, big deal. So Max has announced that there's
going to be a new animated series, Barney's World. It's

(09:00):
going to be Barney's first show in fourteen years. It's
going to take place on a playground. Obviously, his fellow
Dino's Billy and Baby Bop. They're both going to be there,
along with three kid best friends, David, mel and viv
The new series is going to debut October fourteenth, and
there's going to be fifty two episodes, all that are
going to be eleven minutes each. I'm just so excited

(09:21):
about that idea. And I have a little bit of
sad news though, I'm sorry to bring down the mood here.
We have another local restaurant closing, Hathorns on Charlotte Avenue.
It's permally going to close at the end of the week.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
They said.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
Due to declining sales, increased food costs, and the difficulties
in staffing, the restaurant has decided that they're going to
close their doors, so all of the reservations are taken up.
The owner suggests, though, since the reservations are all taken up,
to quote, go to one of the neighborhood gems that
you like and you haven't been to in a while,
put them in your regular rotation, which I think is

(09:55):
great advice. So if you can't go there, go to
a place that you like. Support local, Support local, support local.
We can't say it enough. We love our local restaurants
and our local businesses, but we got to support them
in order for them to stay around, because it makes
me sad the amount of restaurants and places that are
closing down here in Nashville. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those
are the three things you.

Speaker 9 (10:13):
Need to know One oh seven five of the River, Ricky,
Zach and Mano.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
In the morning.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
Zach helped grow my brain. It's Zach's facts on one
of seven five the River.

Speaker 8 (10:21):
Did you know that they actually put porridge inside of
the Great Wall of China to build it and make
it stronger. So I guess when I ever mixed with
the other compounds in the mortar, it actually makes it
strong enough to withstand earthquakes and bulldozers.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
So we shouldn't be eating porridge.

Speaker 8 (10:34):
Apparently not, but I mean you can, but just don't
mix it with all of the other compounds and mortar.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Okay, no, really that really scares me a free smeuth.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Have you guys ever had porridge? I feel like I
only know it from a Goldilocks.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
I was just gonna say, I don't know if I've
never even eating porge.

Speaker 8 (10:49):
I don't think so real, but apparently in Asia it is.
And that's your fact of the Day.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
I know it's a little early, but I've already started
Christmas shopping. I have a nephew, a young nephew, so
much time for me to start looking for things for him.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
You know, I get it.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
It's one O seven five.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Of the River.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
As I was looking for things for my nephew, he
loves like little action figures and little like figurines to
play with and cars and stuff like that. So it
got me wondering, as I'm looking through all these action
figures and dolls and they all have little accessories that
come with them. What would your accessory be that comes
with you if you were made into a doll.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I think this might be the single best question we've
ever asked me, which Zachy Manner in the morning six
one five seven three seven nine o seven. If you
were an action figure or a doll, what would your
accessory be? It's a great question.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
You already know yours, Kevin, a.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Phone so I could look at social media and some
tequila fair let us know your would be.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
It's a pretty carbruker.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
On good morning, April and Madison. We are so happy
to have you on one O seven five of the river.
How's your morning going?

Speaker 5 (11:58):
It's going well?

Speaker 9 (11:59):
Your going?

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Not that I can't complain. We're talking about action figures
and dolls. If we were made into figurines, what our
accessories would be? That come in the box? So, April,
what would yours be?

Speaker 6 (12:10):
Mine would be an ice coffee and a faith.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
An ice coffee? And what did you say? A vais
oh Eves Bathe.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
I think a lot of people can relate to that addiction,
oh Man, especially that ice coffee. There's something about that
shaking the ice around that just sends endorphins to your brain.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
But taking it makes it better.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
It does for whatever reason, you gotta shake it otherwise
it doesn't taste the same.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
It's like there are things like in life, like like tongs.
You can't pick up tongs without doing like a little
double flick with them quick.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
You can't walk past a bag of soil without slapping it.
Stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
April, thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.
Have the best day.

Speaker 6 (12:50):
You have a good one, guys.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Bye bye, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
This was your idea, which again I just want to say,
it's a brilliant conversation. Thank you so much to have
I love it. You have a weird brain. But what
would yours be? What would your access It would have.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
To be a hair clip because I have so much hair,
so I would need to have a hair clip. And
then I almost don't know what else I would come with.
I don't want to say my phone, but I am
on it all the time, so it would probably be
a hair clip in my phone.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
I've already started Christmas shopping for my little nephew and
he loves action figures, which got me thinking, if you
were turned into a dollar in action figure, what accessories
would you come with?

Speaker 3 (13:28):
It's such a good question.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Deanna and Nashville, welcome to one O seven five the River.
What would yours be?

Speaker 4 (13:33):
Turtle athing, turtle related?

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Just turtles. It just be a little action figure of
Deanna with a bunch of turtles.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
I kind of love that.

Speaker 9 (13:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
I have a twin sister and our we both love
turtles and we call ourselves a turtle twins.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Oh that's adorable. Deanna, You're the best. Thank you for listening,
Thanks for calling.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Oh you you too, you too, Alma listening in Bellevue.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
What would your accessories be if you were a little,
uh well, action figure for sale?

Speaker 6 (14:01):
The question you have.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
Literally ever asked, and that would be my Nintendo switch
in a red boom.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Oh wait, same red bull one more time, so so southern.
I love it, Red booth, I love it.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
It's so great.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Those are great choices. Thank you so much for calling in. Yes, ma'am,
thank you all every day.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Best for last year.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Zach.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
We have not asked you yet. Well, I have three.

Speaker 8 (14:26):
Mine would definitely be a makeup bag, a handful of
glitter to sprinkle everywhere, and then a fan because I
have to have moving air at all time.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
You always have a fan with you as a human,
not even as an action figure.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Glitter and fan. That is the worst combination imaginable.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Throw the glitter into the fans.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yes, I'm in the Game of the Day is coming
up in a few minutes when your chapel run Pool
party tickets with us.

Speaker 9 (14:51):
Next down the river, Ricky is Zach and Mano in
the morning on the river.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
I hope you're ready to play Kevin Manno's Game of
the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds. This one's so fun
because we are throwing a hot to go pool party
at the Pool Club at Virgin Hotels next Saturday, September fourteenth.
Once you're there, you have a chance to win tickets
to see chapelone. The whole thing is Chaperone theme.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
And those are not easy tickets to get. Nope. So
this is it.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
This, I mean today tomorrow, your last chance is to
grab the these passes into our pool party. We're playing
What's It from Pool Party edition, So it's a different
clip of audio every day, something from a movie, a
TV show, a song, whatever, you know.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
It's water theme, pool party themed.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
So if you can tell us what This is from
You're coming to our pool party, and I promis yesterday
it was gonna be a little harder today.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Do you think I succeeded?

Speaker 4 (15:40):
I don't think he succeeded, So.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
It was pretty easy. I thought it was really all right.
Here we go, turn up your radio. Here's today's clue.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Why are you so obsessed with me?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
So?

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Then for my birthday party, which was an all girls
pool party.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Six one five, seven, three seven nine one o seven.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
It's one of my favorite movies.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
So if you know what it is, you're coming to
all pool party. We're playing next on the.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
River Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
On the River one oh seven five The River Chapel
Roane themed Hot to Go pool party is next Saturday.
Right now, we're playing Kevin Menno's Game of the Day
in order for you to win your way in Sarah
in Colombia. You ready to play?

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yes, don't tell us your answer yet. I'm gonna play
the clue one more time. But how confident do you feel?

Speaker 6 (16:21):
I am a hundred?

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Okay, let's go ahead and play the clue one more time.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Why are you so obsessed with me? So?

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Then for my birthday party, which was an all girls
pool party. That's it.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
That's your clue, Sarah in Columbia. You're one hundred percent
confident with your answer.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
What is your answer?

Speaker 6 (16:37):
Yes, that is mean girls.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
La Regina George. Yeah, I thought maybe it'd be a
little harder, but I guess it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Congratulations, it was not, Sarah.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
He said he thought it was gonna be harder, and
when I guessed it in three seconds, he was like, Oh,
and I'm like, it's a classic. Women love this movie.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
It is going to be so hard tomorrow, you guys,
it's gonna be a move no one's ever heard of tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Luckily, Sarah, you don't have to worry about it tomorrow
because you won your way in today.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Thank you, You're so welcome. Congratulations, hang on the line, Okay, okay, thanks.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
I'm literally going to make up a movie tomorrow. Nobody's
winning these tickets tomorrow. Be here seven three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Just past eight o'clock on this Thursday, Hello, good morning,
Thanks for being Eric.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
He's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
The weekend, the singer he has announced the title of
his new album, It's Going to be named Hurry Up Tomorrow.
So this is the last album in his trilogy, after
down FM and After Hours. We don't know what he's
going to release the new album just yet, but he
did post to social media a little tidbit about what
to expect from the album. I will repost it at
one oh seven five of the River, so you can

(17:44):
watch it there. It is like a minute and a half,
so you have a lot of reading in a minute
and a half. But it all very much fits the
weekend and his vibe and what this trilogy project really is.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
I think in the past he's also said this would
be it for the weekend, like he's retiring a name.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
That is essentially the plan. But we'll see what happens
after this album comes out and he does the tour
and all that good stuff. We'll see where he's at.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
Then.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Cheese lovers, this one's for you. If you love cheesel
like I too. There's a cheese festival that's happening in
Nashville this weekend. Grays Fine Cheeses. They're hosting this cheese
festival at Southern Grists Brewing in the Nations. It's happening
on Sunday, you could expect to taste test different cheeses,
and experience demonstrations and educational panels. Tickets are on sale
right now for seventy five dollars on their website if

(18:28):
you want to go check it out. I'm still on
the fence. If I don't have plans on Sunday, I
think I might go to the Cheese Festival. I love
cheese so much. And remember those Altoid sours? Do you
remember those?

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Kevin?

Speaker 4 (18:39):
They're making a comeback. They discontinued them in twenty ten.
They were huge in the early two thousands. I used
to eat them all the time. They're like so sour
that they kind of rub off like your taste buds almost,
is what it feels like. But they're so good. So
the catch here is that they're going to be made
by a different company, even though that company does promise
to stick to the original recipe, and they're only going

(19:00):
to be sold at Cracker Barrel, so you could please
buy them at Cracker Barrel.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Oh that's so weird.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
You're just so random. But I mean, you gotta do
what you gotta do. If you gotta just roll up
into Cracker Barrel, have some uh, I know there's a
specific food item that Zach loves there and I can't
think of what.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
It's called cracker barrel. Yes, I even wear cracker barrel
in so long. I have seen photos online though of
some of them being like modernized, like they don't have
that old quaint feel anymore. I don't know if that's
true of the ones around here.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Bake that. Yeah, well now they have the Altoyd sours
if you want to go get some. I'm Ricky Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the river?

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Do your parents still do anything that kind of embarrasses you?
It's one of seven to five the river. I'm talking
to like the adults out there, like, well, you know
you're grown up. Your parents are a little bit older
that do they still do something that you're kind of
ashamed of?

Speaker 4 (19:50):
This is all because of our friend Kate. She does
weekends here on one of seven five the river. Her
dad is the sweetest old man, but he still has
like a laser pointer that he carries his access with it.
He's been retired for twenty years. Yeah, he used to
be a contractor, so he would use the laser pointer
to point things out in like buildings that were being built.

(20:10):
He hasn't had to use it in twenty years, but
he still carries it with him everybody.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
And then Zach was like, oh, that's cool, so he
bought Zach one. Yes, now I have one, and it's
actually really fun to play with. Six one five, seven,
three seven nine, one oh seven.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
If your parents have a weird little quirk, like that's
something that you're kind of embarrassed of, honestly, six one five, seven, three,
seven nine seven.

Speaker 9 (20:32):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning on one
seven five The River Parents.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
We love our parents, but even as adults, sometimes they
can embarrass us. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the
Morning on one oh seven five the River, Jerika and Clarksville.
How do your parents still embarrass you as an adult?

Speaker 6 (20:50):
So this has been happening because I was a child
and my mom barely goes anywhere with shoes on. Oh,
so he walks around Barsha the time, which you know,
we're from a really small town, backwards towning in Tennessee.
So it just comes with.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
The terror story and an embarrassing story that I have
is one time my mom pulled up in a big
crowd of all of my high school friends and then
hopped out, and it was like a big deal and
she had absolutely no shoes on it, and I'd never
been more mortified of mine.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
All right, Jericha, I'll be honest with you. If I
saw that, I would think that's very cool. Like I
have these sensitive little feet. I can't walk across the
yard with step out of every little rock and I
want to cry.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
I always wish my feet were tougher.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
I think that's like she reminds me of somebody would
walk across hot coals or something, and that's cool.

Speaker 5 (21:36):
Yeah, we can walk across pavement like it's nothing, Jeriica.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
So does she go to stores without shoes on?

Speaker 5 (21:44):
No, I will say she won't wear shoes in stores.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Okay, good, he doesn't have to wear them.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
She wants, wow, you gotta have emergency shoes in the car.
Thank you for calling, Jerica. We appreciate it.

Speaker 6 (21:54):
Thank you. I have a great day, you too.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
I basically can't be embarrassed anymore because my parents embarrassed
me my entire life on purpose, Like they would try
to do things to embarrass me so as an adult
doesn't even phaze me. But Zach, you have a story
of your mom embarrassing you.

Speaker 8 (22:08):
My mom still does this to this day, whether we're
at costco bed, bathroom, beyond Coals, wherever they have like
the bed displayed so you can see the comforter on
the bed.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
She has to lay on every single one of the beds.

Speaker 8 (22:19):
And I don't understand, Like people will walk by and
just stare at her and she's just laying on the bed.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
I'm like, girl, you know who else he is up?

Speaker 1 (22:26):
My six year old Ricky is Zach and manno in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Every day I grow to love Jason Kelsey even more.
Today's daily double tap on one O seven five the
river is one of the reasons why I adore this man.
He has the ultimate dad hack, the dad logic to
make sure that his kids don't want cats, because apparently
they've been asking to get a cat.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
I'm in the same boat. My kids would love a cat,
but that's not happening.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
Well, you know why. This is the reason why what I'm.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Gonna use from now on here we go.

Speaker 7 (22:57):
You know what my latest plan to divert our family
from getting a cat is. I just keep telling our
girls that cats are poisonous.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
What would you tell them that.

Speaker 7 (23:07):
So that they don't want cats? And I don't have
to deal with having a cat and make them terrified
that that's whatever they'll find out. I think lying to
your kids is important. Kylie is like, they're not poisonous.
Your dad is lying to you. I'm like, listen, if
you have a cat, the government will come and take
it from you, because it's they're so lethal.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
I mean, they can kill you. They don't even have
to bite you, just them licking you.

Speaker 7 (23:28):
You fear their tongue it has little needles on it.
And then I pull up pictures of a zumed in
picture on a cat's tongue and it looks like needles.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
I'm with them.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
This is something that my dad would have done to
us as kids, A hundred dad logic. It works though
they don't have a cat.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
I don't mean to just sit here in bash cats
by any means. But like, I've never met a friendly one.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
I've never met one.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
They met a bunch of friends.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
Really, I don't think I have. They never they just run,
they hide.

Speaker 8 (23:51):
They don't because you have rich people friends and they
have like the hairless cats.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
I've never met a hairless curious. My friends are doctor
Evil apparently.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
I'm curious to see what's gonna happen though with Anti Taylor. Oh,
that's it happened when they go to Auntie Taylor's house
and see all the cats runaway and scream.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Already calling her Anti Taylor too.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
I mean, we're getting there, guys, and now we're.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Just going out on his rabbit holes. But is she
going to be at the Chiefs game tonight?

Speaker 5 (24:18):
Do we know?

Speaker 3 (24:20):
I think so? Okay.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Anyway, that video is going up on our Instagram stories
at one of seven five The River on Instagram is
going up there.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
