Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Okay, Happy Thursday, everybody, Welcome to a brand new day.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
Welcome to Ricky Zacamana. In the morning. Ricky Sanchez has
those three things.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Zaane, previously of One Direction, has announced a tour of
his own Stairway to the Sky. The tour is kicking
off next month in San Francisco. It's only going to
go through the end of twenty twenty four. There are
unfortunately only five US dates, and Nashville is not on
the list. Your closest bet would be New York essentially,
or DC. It's a very short tour. A lot of
(00:31):
fans are really upset by the lack of city options.
So hopefully he'll announce more for twenty twenty five. But
with the way that everything's gone with Zane and his
entire career, we don't really know what's gonna happen. So
hopefully this goes well. And he's so excited about it.
He adds more he comes to Nashville. If that happens,
I'll let you know. We all knew this was coming,
but it officially is here. Robots are in our fast
(00:52):
food kitchens. Chapotele has announced that they started adding robots
to their kitchens to do things like cutting up avocados,
which really isn't that bad.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Of an ice. A lot of people the er every year.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yeah, they call them quote cobots, so they're designed to
work alongside human employees so they'll make meal prep faster.
So the autocado is the robot that can cut and
core and peel avocados in twenty six seconds, which, honestly,
if this is how intense we get with the robots,
I'm not mad about it, because, like you said, you
cut your hand a lot on avocados, and they promise
that there still are humans mashing the guacamole together because
(01:27):
you know, there's a lot that goes into that, the
right spices, sure, the right amount of avocados. So there's
still people that are on the assembly lines doing things.
They are just thinking of different ways to involve these
quote unquote cobots to help speed up the assembly of
their food. And the Nashville Zoo they have announced some
new features for their annual Boo at the Zoo event.
So the event is going to run for three weeks
(01:48):
from October eleventh to October thirty first, and it has
a brand new Ferris Wheel attraction, as well as a
new Storytime with the Old Oakley Tree. Other attractions include
the Monster Mash dance floor, Halloween themed animals shows, Gordon
the Talking Pumpkin.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I didn't know his name was Gordon.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Like kiss, he's a Gordon. There's trigar treat stations, and
a pumpkin patch all there. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
We went to Boo at the Zoo last year and
I spent way too long figuring out how Gordon talked
and knew all the stuff that he knew.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
It just sounds very cool.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Sanding off to the side like.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Wait a minute, who is how is this magic?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Where it is?
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Man?
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Then I realized it's magic. Good morning friends.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Hey, we have those TSO tickets for the First callar
coming in about ten minutes right.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
Here on the River one O seven five of the River.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Ricky, Zach and Mana.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
In the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
I can't believe we're already thinking about Christmas, talking about Christmas,
getting into Christmas spirits this early on. But I mean
Transub Orchestra They're coming to bridge Stone December eleventh, and
we got tickets, so it just kind of fits.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
And honestly, I mean it's it doesn't It's not that early.
I know it's still September, but like it is time
to start.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Thinking what jo Queen hasn't even patted.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
The calendar feels up quickly. It's time to start playing
in the wild.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
But if you are the first caller of the day
on one O seven five the River, you're gonna get
these tickets. So call us right now.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Six one five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven.
I promise I'm gonna be nice and normal, no weird questions.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Today, Sure, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Christina from Lebanon, on our way to Nashville. Right now,
Good morning, welcome to one of seven five the River.
Are you excited for Christmas?
Speaker 7 (03:27):
I love Christmas.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
My whole family loves decorating.
Speaker 8 (03:31):
We're always excited.
Speaker 7 (03:32):
Okay, sing me a Christmas song?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Oh absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Hey, Christina, do you think it's too late in life
for somebody like Ricky to you know, become a Christmas person?
Speaker 4 (03:42):
It's never too late to do anything you want to do.
Speaker 7 (03:45):
Amen.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
I love that attitude. I'll tell you this great attitude.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
My wife Ally was never a big fan of Christmas
kind of like you, Ricky, but like over the last
few years, I think maybe once we had kids and
seeing their excitement, she's really become a big Christmas person.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
So it might be in your I love that so
much for Alie. But I'm not having kids anytime soon.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
What if you eventually do one day? You might love Christmas?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Oh see, Christina, I'm excited that you love Christmas because
you are our first color of the day. On one
O seven five of the river. You're gotting these tickets
to see Trans Siberian Orchestra. That is so exciting.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
We love Trans Hiberian Orchestra.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Oh good, this is perfect. Thank congratulations, Thank you so much.
I'm being normal. But Zack has a question for you.
Speaker 7 (04:27):
When's the last time you washed your hair?
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Uh? Two days ago?
Speaker 7 (04:32):
Oh good, I'm proud of you.
Speaker 8 (04:34):
You gotta have like the natural oil and natural grease
for your hair.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
I don't know why this is a thing lately that
you guys have like conspired to do.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
I didn't do anything.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Kevin and Zach have like conspired to ask these really
weird questions, and I have no idea what's ever going
to come out of their mouth?
Speaker 7 (04:48):
What's that?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Shoot?
Speaker 7 (04:49):
You wear ten and a half.
Speaker 8 (04:51):
See, we just had to get to know Christina really well.
So now I feel like we're best friends. And I'm
excited that you won these tickets now that we know
you better.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Christina, I'm so sorry for my friends. We hope you
have a great day. We are so excited for you.
Hang on the line so we can get some info. Okay, yes, ma'am,
all right.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Thank you. I didn't do anything, but you're right. Being
on this side of it listening to the weird questions
is pretty weird.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Yeah, you also knew he was gonna ask a weird question.
You teat him up.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
That part's true.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
On the River.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
The tension I can feel it in the one O
seven five of the River studio right now. Zach is
quote unquote not speaking to Kevin for a very Zach reason.
And we want to know if it's a little too dramatic.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
What about on you? Are you talking me on the air?
This is sort of your job.
Speaker 7 (05:40):
Ricky has your day. I love your new hair, Ricky,
Oh my gosh, thank you so much. This is great.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
The reason he's not talking he has to do with
Ricky's hair.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Honestly, I don't know why I get thrown in the
middle of this, but we'll explain.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Don't worry, all right, a few minutes. Tell us if
he's in the right or if he's being a little dramatic.
We'll get into it.
Speaker 6 (05:58):
Next other river one oh seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach,
and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Zach is just straight up not talking to me. It's
one o seven to five of the River.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
I think you're being a little dramatic, buddy, Zach.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Do you feel like you're being dramatic about this?
Speaker 7 (06:12):
I'm not being dramatic whatsoever.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Okay, So here's the situation. Uh, for whatever reason, all
three of us ended up having hair appointments in the
same week and getting your hair done. So I got
my hair done last night. The guys have not seen
my hair since then. So this morning, when I walked
into the studio, Kevin was very sweet and he said,
oh my gosh, your hair looks so nice. Zach. What
was your immediate reaction to that.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
Kevin never once complimented my hair or my eyelashes that
I got done, which were drastic changes.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
So he's not even paying attention to me. He's not
complimenting me.
Speaker 8 (06:43):
He only wants to suck up to Ricky, but doesn't
care about anything about me.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Okay, now my side.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
You when you got your stuff done, I did eventually
tell you it look good after I said, Kevin, hair
is you had a hat out. I couldn't see there
and you took it up. You're like, you didn't say
any about my hair ten minutes. Like, give me a
little time to come to it.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
It didn't take ten minutes for Ricky's hair.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Ricky's hair is half of her body. It's like a
huge focal piece. When you look your ring, the colors different.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
It's straight.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Now everything about it is very eye catching.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
Kevin has a point with so my eyes.
Speaker 8 (07:18):
So my hair is not eye catching, neither of my eyelashes.
I'm just saying about me is eye catching.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Your hair taking up a much smaller percentage of you.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Deepress, deep breathed. We want to know if you think
that Za's being a little dramatic. Six four eight nine
five is the phone number put river at the beginning
of the message. Your name and where you're texting from.
I am we need somebody who's impartial. I'm the one
that's now being brought into this mess. You're in it,
so I don't feel like my opinion matters.
Speaker 8 (07:43):
But I just don't comprehend why he's so like, Oh
my god, Ricky looks.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
So I don't think I did any of that.
Speaker 8 (07:48):
And I literally got my eyelashes done, I got highlights,
I saw myself like I did all these things, and
Ken never once complimented any of them.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
Deep breath deep, I can't.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
This is it's a deepres We need to call me sae.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
He's already made it a little dramatic. Literally, all Kevin
said was, oh, Ricky, your hair looks really nice.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
All I'm looking for is Kevin's approval, and yet I
never get it.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Oh my lord, No, Now that hurts me too.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
I feel like the least favorite child.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Does Zack, you look great? You look great. Your eyelashes
are popping, your hair, you look.
Speaker 7 (08:18):
Like called it out.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Also, popping is a phrase.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
That I was out.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
So now I'm getting an attack from my phrasing of
the compliments that I give.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
The bottom line is is Zach being a little dramatic
about this? Or do you understand where he's coming from?
Six four eight nine five is the number to text
us por River at the beginning of.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
The message, I'm just not very observant, to be honest
with you. Ricky's thing is like a big change.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Okay, anyway, three things you need to know The.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Sun has risen on this Thursday morning here in Nashville.
Thanks for starting with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
SNEL has announced the first five hosts and musicians, two
of which are Nashville natives. Jelly Roll is going to
perform September twenty eighth with Jeane Smart as a host.
That's the open for their fiftieth anniversary of ESNL, so
that's amazing. And Naper Getsy is gonna host October fifth
with musical guest Coldplay, two huge, huge people in the
(09:10):
national you know circuit, and I'm so happy to see that.
The rest of the show's announced include Ariana Grande, who's
going to host with Stevie Nicks performing on October twelfth,
Michael Keaton I Love Michael Keaton with Billie Eilish on
October nineteen. That's show's yes, I'm so excited about that one.
And John Mulaney's gonna host with chapelone November second.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
I mean all of that is eight class.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Yeah, it came up with a great lineup so far,
and it looks like we got a new National Taco
Day thanks to Taco Bell. They have officially rescheduled it.
So National Taco Day has been celebrated on October fourth
for years, which I didn't even know until this story
came out, but Taco Bell has now successfully lobbied to
move it to October first. The reason I'm behind this
(09:54):
move is because this year it can happen on a
Taco Tuesday. So the National Day calendar they said, you
know what, that's not reasoning for us. They're shifting it.
So now you need to remark your calendars. It's now
going to be October first on Taco Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Okay, love to see it.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
And Artville is coming back to the Wedgwood, Houston, and
Chesnut Hill neighborhoods. This is really cool. It's a festival
in celebration of local artists here in Nashville with art
everywhere for murals on the sides of buildings, some specific
installations that are happening inside of galleries. Free to attend,
family friendly. There's going to be on site food vendors.
Festival starts September twenty seventh and runs through the twenty ninth,
(10:32):
So go check it out, Imricky Sanchez and those are
the three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Thank you so much, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Let's play Tommy You Richmond right after million Dollar maybe
Zax Fax get ready for it?
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Stacks down the.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
River Ricky, Zach and manno in the morning on one
the river.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
It's Zack Fax on one O seven five the river.
Speaker 8 (10:50):
You guys know Neil Armstrong, the first guy to allegedly
walk on the moon. Yes, apparently he had a lawsuit
before he passed away against his barber for selling his
hair to a collector for three thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
That's so invasive and creepy.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Lots of weird stuff there.
Speaker 7 (11:06):
It's very very weird.
Speaker 8 (11:08):
So I guess he would go to the barber once
a month and then after he cut his hair, he
would start selling it to people, and he charged three
thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Who decided to buy a clump of this man's hair
for three thousand.
Speaker 8 (11:19):
Dollars, I don't know, and I don't even know what
you would do with it, Like do you put it
in like a book a case.
Speaker 7 (11:23):
Do you laminate it?
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah, put it in a case with lights the higher
Neil armstrung.
Speaker 7 (11:28):
Well, there's your factor of the day.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
On this new survey, forty percent of Americans have hit
peak stress. But the one thing that they all agreed
on as a remedy for this is music. So we
want to know your favorite song. Call us and tell
us your favorite song.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Maybe that song that's guaranteed to make you feel less stressed.
Speaker 6 (11:56):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
What Unfortunately, according to a new survey, forty one percent
of Americans have hit peak stress. But the positive here
is the one thing everyone agreed on is that the
remedy is music. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the
Morning on one oh seven, five the River, April and Madison,
tell us your favorite song that always just puts you
in a good mood.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Oh, that's a good one.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Don't even know what I know, Jack Johnson, but I
don't know Banana pancakes.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
It's very soothing.
Speaker 7 (12:28):
It makes me smile every time.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Oh, April.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I love nuts Jack Johnson music in general, I mean
makes you want to, you know, wear flip flops, laying
on a hammock on the beach or something. I'd assume
this one is a similar vibe. Yes, thousand, Okay.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
It's very soothing. It's very relaxing. I get why if
you were stressed out, that would be the song that
you'd want to hear too, like just to like by
about too.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
It's just a happy song.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
I add it to my list here. Thank you, April.
We appreciate you.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Have a good day.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
You two love churing.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Games George and Murphy's Burrow. What's up, buddy, you're on
the river. What's that song for you?
Speaker 5 (13:02):
It's a Mugs Game by Soft Cell.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
I no soft Cell, I know Tainted Love, that's Soft Cell, right.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
I don't know this other song you're talking about, though.
What is it called? It's a Mugs Game?
Speaker 7 (13:13):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
I feel like I'm gonna have to look this one up. George,
I don't know this one.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Ah, that's why, George.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
You're throwing it back right now. George, thank you so
much for calling in. We appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Love you, guy, love you too, buddy.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Hi to Starla in Nashville. Starla, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
What's that song for you? What always helps you out
if you're feeling stressed?
Speaker 6 (13:39):
Wore?
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Oh what a good choice.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
God, I kind of feel like we should play that one.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
I love Paramore. I would love to play it.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
We're gonna play it next, Starla.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Thank you, do we appreciate you. Have a great day, Starla,
you doo bye love.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
I feel like she didn't fully grasp, but we're gonna
play it next.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
I think she just wasn't expecting it, so now she's
in shock. I totally understand.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
But you're on board for this.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Yes, let's play it.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
If Jonathan gets mad, he's getting mad at both of us.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
Yeah, I'll take full blame. I don't care.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Okay, this is all on Rickey then Starlasa.
Speaker 6 (14:08):
Next, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
the River.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Still into you from Paramore on one oh seven to
five the River. We played that specifically for Starla in Nashville.
We're talking about favorite songs because a lot of us
are stressed and music has proven to be the one
thing that helps de stress us, and that.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Is a great song.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
It's so good it made me happy to listen to it. Well,
we got a few more people that want to tell
us their favorite songs. Grace in spring Hill, what's your
favorite song that just puts you in a good mood?
Dancing Queen by Album, Oh, great choice.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Are you like aing am a super fan? Because I mean,
oh yeah, if you love them, you really love.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Them, right, But you don't have to love them to
love Dancing Queen. Everybody knows Dancing Queen.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
Oh everyone loves that song.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Great choice, Grace, Thank you so much for calling in
and for hanging out with us.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Of course, A good morning you two love.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
We'll say good morning to Isaac and Murphrey's Burrow. What's up, buddy,
good morning? What's the song for you?
Speaker 8 (15:05):
I listened to.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
A lot of classical music, but it's called The Swan
by Camille Saint Sam.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Classical music is known to be great for when you're
trying to learn new things. If you listen to classical music,
it's supposed to help the brain function.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
And it's like research has show that like listening to
classical while doing work and stuff like that does be
stretching and things like that. Good to know.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Also, research has shown that listening to one oh seven
five the River really uh makes you work better.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Whatever you said, times.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Ten, absolutely every morning.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Thank you, Isaac. We appreciate you.
Speaker 9 (15:40):
Of course.
Speaker 6 (15:42):
Hilaria, thank you.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
We hope you have a great day. Isaac, thank you
so much for calling in due.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (15:48):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
River dashow.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
With Austin on one oh seven five the River. She
played one of our river on the rooftops. She is amazing.
Now you can win VIP to our next river on
the rooftop if you win. Kevin Manno's Game of the
Day presented by Genesis Diamond.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
We're gonna have MGK out there on Tuesday night, completely
free show, McKenna, Grace and Averanna there as well. It's
a really solid lineup. These VIP passes are for the
winner of the Game of the Day. Anybody can just
show up to the show free show, completely free. Again,
just stressing. These are VIP pass to get your own
bar up there. It's a real nice setup.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Yeah, it's just a little extra, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah, since it's VIP those are three letters, and since
it's MGK and other three letters.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
We're playing a game this week called Initial Response.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
That was way too dramatic, probably a little bit this
game six seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
If you want to call and play and win, let's go.
It's next on the river.
Speaker 6 (16:45):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Time is it Kevin?
Speaker 3 (16:51):
It's game time, baby.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
Thanks for gating me up for that, Ricky, appreciate it
so welcome. We are playing Kevin Banno's game of the
day on one oh seven five the River for your
chance to win VIP passes to our last river on
the rooftop of this season for real this time.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
It's coming up on Tuesday. MGK sadlining We honestly, we did.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
Not know we were gonna do another River on the rooftop,
and then we had this opportunity and we jumped on it.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
So a pump can't say no to MGK.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
McKenna, Grace and Averanna are going to be there as well,
and let's see if maybe Veronica in Murphy's borrow is
going to be there in the VIP section. Hi Veronica, Hey,
how are you great?
Speaker 3 (17:26):
I'm great. I can't speak for Ricky, but I'm great.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
I'm lovely.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Good, she's lovely. I'm great. Hey, do you have a
corporate job by chance?
Speaker 6 (17:34):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (17:34):
No, I am a nerse Actually I work at a rehab.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Okay, well that's great.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
Thank you so much, Veronica for doing that.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Today's game.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
It's all these like different acronyms, you know that are
kind of taken from the corporate world.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
So you just made Veronica more nervous for the game
that she was probably already nervous to play.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Good job, Kevin, You'll be okay. No, no, no, you'll
be okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Question number one games called initial response. Here we go, Veronica.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Before you leave for a vacation.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Or something, you might use this one. What does OOO
stand for?
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Out of nice shop?
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Veronica got a point? Nice job?
Speaker 2 (18:12):
You need two out of three to get these VIP passes. Uh, Veronica,
I'm gonna need this on my desk by e.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
O D.
Speaker 9 (18:19):
End of day.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Yes, you'll gotta be a corporate curly to know these things.
Speaker 6 (18:24):
Yay.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Last question. You already got the VIP passes, but I
have three here.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
So before you start a new job, Veronika, you might
ask about PTO.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
What does that stand for?
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Beautiful?
Speaker 3 (18:35):
That one.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
I know, beautiful, amazing. You did such a good job, Veronica.
I'm gonna take that.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Yes, please do.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
We'll see you there Tuesday night, Skydeck on Broadway again,
free show. Everybody can just come, but Veronica is gonna
be high above you in the VIP second.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Nice job. Thank you for calling and play and that
was very easy for you than you.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Just eight o'clock on this Thursday morning. Thank you for
being here. Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
The stranded astronauts in space are going to vote in
the twenty twenty four election. So if you remember the
two American astronauts who are stuck in space, they're stuck
up there until February. It was supposed to be a
quick trip ended up not being that way. So lots
of people have wondered, like, how were they going to vote?
Like they weren't planning on being up there? Is this
gonna happen? Are they allowed to vote? There's still American citizens?
(19:24):
How does this work?
Speaker 3 (19:25):
So fun?
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Fact, election officials in Harris County, Texas, where NASA Space
Station is located, they work and they send astronauts all
the time into space during election cycles. Ye and they
will send a PDF with clickable boxes to make their choices.
It's password protected, it's ensured to be a secret ballot,
all of these things, and astronauts have actually been voting
(19:46):
from space since nineteen ninety seven, which is the year
that the Texas legislature passed a bill allowing NASA employees
to vote from space. So have no fear they will
be voting this year.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Crazy in treating Yeah literally was.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
So intrigued on how this would work. Now we know.
We have more details about the Sims movie adaptation that
got everyone excited a few months back. It has officially
been confirmed by EA. It is happening. It's going to
be produced by Margo Robbie's production company, Lucky Chap. It's
going to be directed by Katie Heron, who's known for
her role director directing Loki. We don't have any details
(20:21):
on the plot just yet, but there's been a bunch
of people close to the production saying that we can
expect a lot of the lore around Sims to be
in the movie. So think pools with no ladders, things
like that, you know, all of the weird stuff that
we would do on Sims. They're going to somehow play
that up in the movie. As more details come out,
(20:41):
I will let you know what's going on with it.
And I truly hate to hand on a bad note,
but I hate to hear this. White's Mercantile in twelve
South is facing a potential closure that is such a bomber,
so permits have been filed to demolish the space and
to build a two story building in its place. The owner,
Holly Williams. She told Business Journal that she's quote looking
(21:02):
at several options it hopes to remain in the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
I mean, I know there are a few white margant
house out there, but that is such a cute, little, quaint,
little looking building. It's so old.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
I love that spot. So as much as I hate
to say this, I also wanted to say it because
I want the community to know. Not only because if
they do close, you should go stop by and support
them and give them some business, but also because maybe
we can stop it from happening. Who knows fingers crossed,
I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
I mean, twelve South really does need a new, big building,
though that's started. Kevin, You know how many going up constantly.
There's been some boom beautiful things. Back into the music.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
On the River, Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
I'm a little nervous about this one, Ricky. But why,
I don't know if they werena fend people.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
Okay, this is not an offense to anybody. This is
just a normal conversation about ugly cars.
Speaker 7 (21:54):
Everyone is allowed to their own opinion.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
It's fine, and it's just a car. It's not a
big deal. This all started because I can't stop seeing
cyber trucks everywhere I look. Everywhere I look at Nashville, they.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Are popping up all over the place.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
We were talking about it yesterday and Kevin was driving
in saw cyber truck. And then later on in the
day I was driving in saw a cyber truck, and
at first I was like, is it the same one
everywhere that I go? Is it following me?
Speaker 7 (22:18):
Probably?
Speaker 4 (22:19):
There's just more and more cyber trucks everywhere.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
And so the question based on the cyber trucks, this
is again Ricky's idea, what, in your opinion, is the
ugliest car.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Yeah, let's hear it, that's the question.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
I think, you know what I think.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Six, one five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Let us know the ugliest car in your opinion?
Speaker 1 (22:35):
What is it?
Speaker 6 (22:37):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
One seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
A minute ago, Ricky uh was open about her hatred
of cyber trucks.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
I just don't get them. They don't look good to me,
and I have no offense to anybody. I just don't
want them.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
So we're asking, in your opinion, the ugliest car out there,
Cindy and Franklin, what do you think?
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Okay, my entire family agrees with you. The cyber truck
is the ugly car ever made.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
I just don't understand them, and I keep seeing them
pop up all over Nashville.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
I know they're everywhere.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yeah, I will say you guys. You know who disagrees
with you on this is children Like I don't. I'm
not a big fan of the cyber truck either, But
every time we see when my kids get so excited,
all their friends get excited, the kids love them.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
Kids don't drive cars.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Oh yeah, okay, no, my kids do not love them.
My kids like make fa faces the.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Oh well, how old are your kids? Because now I'm
wondering if it's just an age thing.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
Yeah, no, they're older than your kids.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Okay, got it, Okay, okay, so little kids like them.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Everyone in my family hates Sydney.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
I'm with you. They're just ugly. I just don't like
And there's no offense to anybody you know who's driving
in a cyber truck right now. If you're listening to
one oh seven five the River, thank you very much
for listening. I'm not judging you.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
You're not saying you're ugly judging the car. Yeah, thing
you're in Sydney, Thank you, We appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
You to love.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
I understand that Heather in Nashville has a different answer.
So we're gonna move away from cyber trucks and offend
some other people.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Heather, what do you think the ugliest car?
Speaker 1 (24:06):
I personally do not like the jeep truck. I don't
think it's a very strange combination.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
It doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Yes, exactly, do you want a truck or do you
want a jeep? Like you can buy the individually.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Right, and typically people who drive trucks drive trucks for
a very specific reason, to use the bed of the
truck to carry things. I feel like a jeeptly, like
a Jeep is not for that Jeep spousd be like
a fun car. You go like all throating in it,
like it just doesn't match the right vibe.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Do you agree with her?
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Thank you, I thank you.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
I've always wished I was the type of person that
could have a Jeep. They're so trusting.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
And when I walk away from my car to parking lot,
I pressed the lock button four hundred times, and then
these jeep boters are.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Just like, hey, anybody that wants to hop in?
Speaker 9 (24:49):
Hop in?
Speaker 3 (24:50):
I have no windows, I have no roof.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
No, I know, right, no, uh but no.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
I definitely I think I would personally just want a Jeep.
I don't want a truck. Yeah, I just think when
I see these Jeep trucks, I'm like, okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I'm with you. How that they've confuse me?
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Yep, thank you for joining the conversation, Heather, thank you.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Have a great day.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
You want to add to It's six one, five, seven, three,
seven nine seven the ugliest car out there.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
I'm realizing I'm such a hater right now. I hate
these cars.
Speaker 6 (25:18):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
We got on this because Ricky doesn't like cyber trucks.
But we're talking about the ugliest cars.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Whitney and Mount Juliette. Tell us the ugliest car in
your opinion.
Speaker 8 (25:31):
I mean, the cyber trucks have grown on me.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
I would say it's those little cube cars, like the
square cars. The ugliest oh, like the Kia Soul and
the Nissan Juke. Like I could name all of them.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yes, they're awful.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
When I have to say who's driving, Oh, you got
the kids attacking him too.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Again, no offense meant to anybody out there driving one
of these cars right now.
Speaker 8 (25:55):
That's just Whitney's opinion, not ours, and zach yours too.
It sounds like I was just naming off different brands.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
It's okay, that's what we're doing right now. We're just
kind of venting about ugly cars. No problem, Whitney, thank
you so much for calling in.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Yes, we'll get one more. Mom.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
I know you're speaking on behalf of your daughter Annie,
and she said.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
That the Wiener Mobile is the ugliest vehicle that has
ever been driven. I was like, well, you're a little right,
But I mean I'm with Ricky. I think that the
cyber truck definitely is like a rolling metal trash can.
Speaker 6 (26:32):
But Annie thinks the later mobile is the ugliest.
Speaker 7 (26:37):
That's very funny to it.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
I love that. Tell Annie we appreciate her opinion.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
You can hear you, Oh Annie, we.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
Appreciate your opinion.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Thank you, Annie. Have a great day.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Bye guys.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Zack, do you have one? We didn't ask you yet.
Speaker 8 (26:52):
I don't think mine is like a specific type. I
think it's more so the color, like when it's a
really ugly color.
Speaker 7 (26:57):
Like gold or like an ugly green.
Speaker 8 (26:59):
I'm do they sell that on the clearance rack because
you had they did a good deal well.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Fun fact, a lot of those colors, because they don't
sell well, are actually discounted.
Speaker 8 (27:08):
I figured, I was like, they have to be on
the clearance rack at the store, Like there's no way.
Speaker 6 (27:14):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
O zero.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
One, O seven to five the River. Good morning friends.
It's Ricky, Zack and Manno in the Morning. That's daily
double tap time every day. About this time we play
some audio from a video.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Today. Ricky found this one and it sounds very sweet.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
It is very sweet. It's this couple they're both musicians,
but they couldn't find the right first dance song, so
they made one for each other.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
It's tough. It is tough. Have you guys talked about
yours at all?
Speaker 4 (27:41):
We have here and there, but we haven't really decided
on what we're gonna do just yet. But it is hard.
So they wrote each other a verse, and this is
them surprising each other with their first dance song as
they dance.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
I did want to just give everybody a little context
on the song that they have chosen. Danny and Colton
couldn't find the perfect song to dance too, so they
decided to write one together instead. However, while they did
write a chorus in the same room together, they separated
and wrote private verses. So tonight will be the first
time that they are hearing the full song all the
way through.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
Something. Then we took a tea man first time.
Speaker 9 (28:14):
He set those worms.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
I love you. It's some means. Could you show me
how it works?
Speaker 6 (28:20):
Now?
Speaker 4 (28:20):
I'm on those stars writing your heart.
Speaker 9 (28:23):
And I'm waking up to you and I pray I
always too, dude, protys plenty in the true fine clemedy spirity.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
Now it's gotten it was.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
Your heads and my party just get a thing that
fairly cool.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Oh boy, it's so sweet, possibly the sweetest they've ever
heard of my life.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
Such a good song too, Like it gives you goosebumps
when you hear it. Yeah, watching them dance to it,
you're gonna.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Sob I mean, my eyes are a little watery right now.
Speaker 6 (29:05):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
That's I mean, that was so sweet.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
We're gonna put that video off on our Instagram stories
at one O seven five The River on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Good fine, Ricky, that's a good one.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
It's really really nice.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
Wow, Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on one
the River
