Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ricky Zach and Mano in the morning on the River
an iHeartRadio station. Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Good morning and Happy Monday. It's right after seven o'clock
and Ricky Sanchez has those three things that you need
to know.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Another hurricane is set to hit Florida, a week after
Hurricane Helene. They're saying that it can intensify into a
Category four or five hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said quote to expect potential major,
major impacts that can happen from this storm. Hurricane Milton
is expected to make landfall on Wednesday with rain starting.

(00:37):
I believe yesterday and today is when they're really supposed
to start with rain. So we will keep you updated
on everything happening with that. We have our thoughts with
everybody in Florida who might be hit with this, especially
after still dealing with the aftermaths of Hurricane Leen. YouTuber
Jack Doherty crashed his sports call while live streaming. So
The twenty year old was seen looking through his phone

(00:58):
on a rainy highway before his cars skid across multiple
lanes and hit into a barrier. Both him and the
passenger are okay. The passenger did have to get stitches,
but they are all right. All things considered, more than
one hundred and eighty five thousand people reviewing his kickstream
at the time of the crash and the aftermath that
he posted to his ex account has over fourteen million views.

(01:21):
So the company Kick has decided to ban him from
streaming on their site due to safety concerns and not
following their safety guidelines, which makes sense because obviously texting
and driving is not okay. You should not be live
streaming and driving. You should be focusing on just driving
while driving. He is lucky that nobody got hurt, including
himself and his passenger and BNA, this is really exciting.

(01:45):
We're getting another new NonStop international flight. So starting April
twelfth of next year, you can take a NonStop flight
to Dublin, Ireland on er Lingis. You're gonna have four
days to choose from as they'll operate this flight every Tuesday, Thursday,
Saturday and Sunday. Another one for us to add to
DNA's list. That is just awesome, NonStop, more and more flights.

(02:06):
I love it. It's really amazing. I'm Ricky Sanchez and
those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
One oh seven five of the River Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the morning.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
What a weekend for Nashville.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
What a weekend for Vandy, Yo.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
It was absolutely insane. Like they beat Alabama.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Vandy beat number one Alabama over the weekend. What a
wild ride. If you know where you were during this,
I feel like you're gonna remember it forever because it
was a historic event without a doubt.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
And also they like took the goalposts and they were
going down Broadway through they threw in the Cumberland River.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
And don't worry, the National Fire Department did pull it
out of the Cumberland River, So it's not just sitting
in there.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Everything is fine.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
But if you really want goosebumps, you gotta hear the
moment that the call was made that Vanderbilt won, because
not only will you smile ear to ear, but like
I said, you're gonna be filled with goosebumps all over
your body here. It is.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Literal cous bumps.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Like I want to cry, no wonder everybody grabbed the
goal post and walked through Nashville within it.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
It was absolutely insane.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Wild Also, speaking of the goalpost if you want to
buy a piece of it.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Oh, Vandy is.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Actually auctioning off pieces of the goalpost.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
I wonder how much they are.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
They're bidding for it right now, so we can go
up for a lot of money. Right now. They are
going to be charged by the SEC for the fact
that they took the.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Goal post, so they gotta get a refund exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
So all the money I believe that people are bidding
on it are going to go to paying for the fine.
I think it's one hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
So I mean, I'm just gonna say it.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
People that go to Vandy, they pay enough intuition, I
think that Vandy can afford it.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I'm just saying I think they're.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Okay with historic moment. We can got to get over
the amount of money we got to spend in the fine, right,
But congrats to everybody at Vandy. That was just absolutely phenomenal.
It was crazy to be around people when everybody found
out that they beat Bama.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
I wanted to cry. Honestly, I'm so sad that I
was not downtown when all of this happened. I wanted
to be there, but here we are not there.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
It's okay, it's okay. Congrats Vandy, we love you, we
appreciate you. What a season this has been so far,
so we can't wait to watch the rest of it.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
One oh seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
The movie monster that scared you, scared the Jesus out
of you when you were a kid. It's Ricky, Zach
and Mano in the Morning on one O seven five
the River. Heather in Nashville, What movie monster scared you?

Speaker 5 (04:50):
I'm selling my age. But Freddy Krueger, Oh, that's valid.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
That's valid, though, Heather.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I was going to say, Freddy Krueger, you look back.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Now and you watch it, you kind of laugh at it.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
This was not that scary. Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
However, my older brothers had the glove and they would
wait under my bed till I recall it.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
No yes, no, no, no, and no, I'm scared right now.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
They would jump out and scare the crap out of me,
and then my dad would be before it.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Siblings could be the absolute worst. There's something about Freddy Krueger,
specifically being able to go into your dreams though, that
really just freaked me out. Yeah, he was pretty scary
for espescially when we were younger, he was scary. Yeah. Absolutely,
all right, Heather, I'm with you. Thank you for calling in.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
You have the best day, guys.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Bye, Good morning, Ryan and Nashville. Tell us which movie
monster scared you as a kid.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
So it wasn't really.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
A scary movie, but from Kitty Chitty Bang Bang, the
Child Catcher.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Oh my gosh, that sounds horrific.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Yeah, the Child Catcher.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Am I aging myself being in my thirties? Okay, So
I just looked it up and they do look absolutely terrifying.
Oh my god, you need to watch Chitty Bang Bang.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yeah. I don't think I've ever actually seen this movie before,
but a child statuer would scare me too as a kid.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
It's so good, but it's not like a scary movie.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
But that one part you're like, oh, I'm not gonna lie.
Looking at photos, he kind of looks like Willy Wonka.
Why he does.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
I can see that, Yes for sure he does.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Okay, like one of my cleaners.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Well, it looks like we'll be watching Chitty Chitty Bang
Bang this weekend to see exactly the vibes of this
kid snatcher.

Speaker 6 (06:44):
Oh yeah, you will not regret one.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
I will regret every second of it. Ryan, I promise
you you won't. Ryan.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Thank you so much for calling in. We hope you
have a great day Every Monday, my love. One seven
five to the.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Everyone's got a monster from a horror film that scared
them as a kid. Some people might still be scared
of them today. It's one of seven five the River,
Sandra and Nashville. What movie monster scared you as a kid?

Speaker 6 (07:14):
The Little Girl in the Arts?

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Oh yeah, that lit'll freaky out for sure.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
I want to see that when it came out in
the movies.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
That's how old I am. And I'm sure it was
even more frightening in the movies. That is nightmare fuel
through and through. Thank you for calling Sandra. Have a
great day.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Bye bye off.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Tammy a Mount Juliet. What monster scared you as a kid?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
People?

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Okay, so the vampire from Salem's Loot that floated outside
the window.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Oh, I don't think I've ever seen that movie, but
that sounds scary if he just floats outside your window.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Oh and I was watching it with one of my
friends as a kid, and my mother went outside and
started tapping on the window. Du Tammy, Yes, yes, sidling.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
See Sammy, I was about to say, siblings can do
those things to you, but parents doing it to you
is even worse because my dad used to do the
same things to us when we would watch scary movies.
He would then scare us after the movie.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
And my brother in law watching on ELM but little
like the freezy kind of ice cream plastic on his
fingers reaped across in front of me in the middle
of the movie, in front of my face.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Okay, so here's the thing about both of your childhoods
and your parents going outside to do this. Now, I
feel like you and Ricky were both bad kids and
that your parents felt like you deserved this. I was
an angel, Oh Tammy, it sounds like it. I was.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Great, But I.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Can't say I was an angel. But I can say
that my dad loved to torture us and make fun
of us in these moments.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Because you were a bad kid.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
No, it's more of like my dad. I think you
is a issue. Sammy. Thank you so much for me you.
Hope you have a great day.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Always do Thank you much.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
One oh seven five of the River Ricky Zach and
Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Ricky Zach and Mano in the Morning The.

Speaker 1 (09:16):

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Oh, Rise and Shine, sleep in Beauty.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
It is Monday, right after eight o'clock, Ricky Sanche says,
use three things that you need to know.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Dolly Parton has donated a million dollars to Hurricane Helene
relief efforts. The money is going to go to Mountain
Ways Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated
to providing immediate assistance to Hurricane Helen flood victims. If
you're looking for an easy way for you to help
those that are negatively impact by impacted by Hurricane Alen,
there's a bunch of resources on our website at one

(09:50):
oh seven five The River dot com. Everything from just
donating money to actually donating goods all found there on
our website. Habit Elementary. They've been tea He's a crossover
episode for quite a while. Quinta Brunson. She was the
one who is like, Hey, you know what, I think
We're gonna do something fun this season with a crossover.
And it turns out we now know who it is.

(10:10):
The cast of it's always sunny and Philadelphia had posted
pictures on set at Abbot Elementary. Both shows take place
in Philly, so it kind of makes sense that they
would be a crossover despite both having very different feels
to them. So I'm really curious to see how they're
gonna make this work outside of just the Philly connection.
It's gonna be an interesting one for sure. No word

(10:31):
on when this specific episode is going to air, but
the new season of Abbot comes out this Wednesday is
when you can start watching it. I'm psyched. I'm gonna
be watching it Wednesday night. So after you watch it,
make sure you message me on Instagram so we could
talk about it at that chick Ricky Riicki and M

to support our local restaurants and shops. I'm Ricky Sanchez
and those are the three things you need to know
one oh.

Speaker 3 (11:18):

the morning.

Speaker 1 (11:21):

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Her name is MoU Dang Bookitlyn, That's okay, Caitlin.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Also, fun fact, moodang means bouncy pig.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Stop it do a fun fact in there.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
All right, Kaitlyn. Back to the questions. Okay, who recently
announced that their tour guts is getting a film coming
to Netflix, Olivia Robe.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Yes, there we go.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
You have one more question, Kaitlin. You got to get
this one right to win the tickets. Okay, awesome. What's
the name of the Adam Brody and Kristen Bell series

Speaker 4 (12:35):

One O seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
Man in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
I found a thread of people explaining why they are
single on purpose, and I feel right now is a
perfect time to talk about it because it's cuffing season.
Not everybody wants to be cuffed. Adrian and Nashville, you
texted in and I think you gave a great explanation
on why you are single on purpose? What is that reasoning?

Speaker 5 (13:13):
You know, living life to our fullest without permission of
a partner? Is is I'm out here traveling with my
best friend and like we didn't have to check in
with thousand to be able to do this trip. And
you know, we're fulfilled. We don't need a partner to
make our lives.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Amen and amen to that.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Like you don't have to ask permission and I love that,
Like you're actually free.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yes, yes, it's nice that you have someone to do
it with too, like your best friends, so you guys
can both explore and do things together while also feeling
fulfilled alone.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Oh, we love that, Adrian. What's your friend's.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
Names, Shanna?

Speaker 6 (13:57):
It's my birthday today, Happy birth.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
We hope you guys have the best day ever. Thank
you so much for talking to us this morning.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Have a beautiful day in a safe Tripody my.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Friends, Oh, how cute.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
I'm so happy that they actually like let us call
them and talk to them.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Yeah, they're so sweet.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
We did ask you to text in. You can always
text us. Six four eight ninety five is the number
put river at the beginning of the message, your name
and where you're texting from. Nina and Hendersonville had texted
us too and said because men are clueless, which is
so very true. Wow, so many moments they really can
be a few of the reasons and the whole part.

(14:40):
The reason that we started this was that I found
this thread of people explaining why they're single on purpose,
and I think a lot of other people will relate
to these. Dating costs money and time.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
It does, it's very expensive. Oh you want me to
buy your dinner?

Speaker 6 (14:54):
No.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
And this one also really got me. It says, my
dog is much better company, except accepts me as I
am and doesn't stress me out.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
I feel that as well. The dogs are the best cuddlers.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
They really are. If you have a reason why you
are single on purpose text US six four eight nine
to five. Put river at the beginning of the message
one O.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Seven five of the river, Ricky, Zach and Mano in
the morning.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Today's daily double tap on one O seven five. The
river is just going to give you goosebumps when you
hear it.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
I'm ready for it.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
The PA for Vanderbilt football called the win over the weekend.
His name is Joe Deo. His daughter had posted this
video on TikTok. She said he's been a Bandy fan forever.
He used to call her middle school basketball games before.
I know how doorable is that. But this man calling
this win, this historic win for vander Vanderbilt is just wild.

Speaker 7 (15:48):
Here we gosla.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
Honestly, it's so cute.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Also, no wonder everybody stormed the field and took the
goal post. That's got me heights.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
They took the entire goalposts, like all the way down
Broadway and then threw it in the Cumberland River.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
I'm partially blaming Joe Dio for how exciting that call was.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
That's true, It's all his fault.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
That's like, seriously, I'm I want to pull something out
of the ground and throw it in the river. Oh
