Lift and Uber have discounted rides to the polls. And
then you said there's a local place, right, Kevin is I.
Speaker 5 (00:37):
Try to come up with the name of it here,
but yeah, something local.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
I just read about that.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
They are also giving rides to people to the polling location.
So if you can't get there, there are other places.
Judah Elite Travel and Transportation Services that is the local
one that is doing free rides to the polls.

So you have options here. Okay, they're making it really
easy for you. Please go out and vote. It is
your right. Make sure you do it. The polls are

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Kelly Clarkson is going to return as host of Christmas
at Rockefeller's Center, so this year's special is going to
have an annual tree lighting ceremony.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
There's also going to be musical performances.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
The show is going to air live Wednesday, December fourth
on NBC and Peacock if you want to watch. We're
so waiting to hear who's going to perform, so I'll
keep you posted on that.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Once we find out, I will let you know.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
And Reese's has done something that I am obsessed with,
So They've created a DIY deconstructed peanut butter kit.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
And the whole story behind this is why I love
it so much.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
So someone on Reddit had posted without getting a five
pack of Reese's Peanut butter cups that didn't have any
peanut butter.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
There is no peanut butter and the peanut butter cups.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
So the company called this quote every person's nightmare, which
I agree, and then they responded with this limited edition
deconstructed peanut butter cup kit.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
So it includes.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Reese's signature peanut butter filling, an oversized chocolate shell. You
can make you peanut butter cups, however you like them
with a lot of peanut butter, with not so much
peanut butter.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
If you've ever.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Critiqued them on how they do it, you can make
it yourself.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
I mean, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
The original kids already sold out, but they're so excited
about how much everybody loved them that they're thinking about
putting them out again. And if they do, I think
it's gonna happen during the holidays, So keep your eyes out.
If it does happen, I think it's going to happen
within the next month or two, because what a great
gift to get somebody.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Do you think maybe there's a chance they made this
batch without peanut butter, like on purpose, so that this
could go viral and they roll these.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Things out like that sounds kind of calculated.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
So much faith in humanity and you think people are
so smart, and I'm.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Just saying some of these corporations they have these big plans,
they know what's going to go viral.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
I don't know that they're that smart entirely.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
I don't trust anybody.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
I'm Rick Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
One seven Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the world.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
We're looking for our first texture of the day this
morning instead of first collar of the day because our
phone line don't actually work.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
We literally just realized this thirty seconds ago that the
phones are not work.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Thank you to Battle on the Rock because he came
into our studio and said, my phone isn't working?
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Is yours? And ours is actually not working. So these
are just the kinks of new studios sometimes.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
So first Texterter is going to come hang out with
us for family free Thanksgiving. We're hanging out at State

beginning of it. That's the first word of the text river.
Speaker 5 (03:33):

going to try to call you back.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
If our phones will die a lot, we're gonna call you.
We're still gonna chowy. This will be the first caller the.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Day back that it works that we can call out.
We just can't receive any call.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Then first texture, small talk. We're feel it out, hopefully
talk to you next other.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
River Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the morning beaver.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
On the river looking for our first call or the day.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
The phones aren't working though, so we asked for the
first texture of the day and we're going to try
to call.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
Is this Camille?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yes, Camille and Franklin, you were the first texture of
the day.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
Congratulations.
Speaker 3 (04:05):

our family free Thanksgiving inside Stateside Kitchen at.

nice people and can't wait to break bread with you Camille.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
Right, I know, so exciting to actually meet you guys.
Speaker 8 (04:28):
Yeah, I mean, what are you doing right now?
Speaker 7 (04:30):
I'm driving to work?
Speaker 8 (04:32):
Oh and where do you work for?
Speaker 7 (04:34):
Franklin Special School District?
Speaker 9 (04:36):
And there's no kiddos today right because it's a polling
station election day.
Speaker 7 (04:40):
Yes, no kids except for my own who had to
come with me.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
What are they going to do the whole time?
Speaker 9 (04:46):
Well, My daughter has a little mermaid practice because she's
in a play, so she has to come and practice
this afternoon.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
So that's so cute.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Who is she in the play?
Speaker 7 (04:56):
She is a sea turtle and a frog.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Nice sea turtle. Oh my god, I love it so much.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
That's awesome. Well, thank you for waking up with us.
I can't believe we haven't met you.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
That's what I was going to say a minute ago.
You're like such a regular part of the show. You
text us all the time. So we get to finally
meet you at our family free Thanksgiving. Congratulations on winning.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
Yeah, thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
We're gonna have another spot at the table tomorrow. Will
our phones work? We don't know, But be here at
this time to win.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Ricky zach and Mano in the morning, here to help
you actually live, laugh and love, just like all those
signs you have around the house.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
One Oh Zachary, the amount of things that you ruin
for yourself is just outrageous.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
It's Ricky zach Amana in the morning on one oh
seven five the river. You tell us that you ruined
something very important of yours, but we.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Don't know how.
Speaker 8 (05:43):
I feel like I might have ruined my entire life, honestly.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Okay, you're a very dramatic person, so I doubt that.
But let's uh, let's hear what you ruined.
Speaker 8 (05:50):
Speak for yourself, Kevin.
Speaker 9 (05:52):
So, I was driving yesterday and I was like drinking
a soda and it's spilled all over my front, like
the passenger seat of my car. So, like any normal person,
does you have all of the Taco bell napkins inside
your glove box?
Speaker 5 (06:04):
Napkins are a must.
Speaker 9 (06:06):
Yeah, So I opened my glovebox go to wipe it off,
and I realized that they were not napkins. It was
the registration to my car that I wiped.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Up the soda with it.
Speaker 9 (06:17):
So now all of the letters, you can't read it
like cause it's just smeared the ink everywhere and it's.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Just like a soggy piece of paper.
Speaker 9 (06:26):
So if I get pulled over, like I won't have
my registration to show the cop and I just don't.
Speaker 8 (06:31):
I'm like, can you replace it? Do I have to go?
Speaker 4 (06:34):
You can replace it.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
You did not ruin your life, You're.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Okay, it's gonna be okay.
Speaker 8 (06:39):
I was hyper ventilating.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
I don't think you actually ruined your life.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
I think you just made a common mistake and it
can be fixed.
Speaker 8 (06:46):
But like, do I have to go on person? Can
you do it online? Can I call someone?
Speaker 7 (06:50):
Like?
Speaker 8 (06:50):
What is the process of it?
Speaker 5 (06:51):
I would do it in person.
Speaker 9 (06:53):
They got those offices, I can bring them my SOGGI registration.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
How would you confuse it with a napkin?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Though?
Speaker 5 (06:59):
Did you grab like a hand full of napkins and
I just happened to be in there?
Speaker 8 (07:02):
Yeah, well they're all white.
Speaker 9 (07:04):
So whenever you open the glove box and it's dark outside,
you just grab what you think is the napkin and
smear sprite around with your registration in your front darkouts
that were.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
Gonna be in the contract.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
Do it by a mail or in person.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
So since you have to do it in person, please
record you telling the person at the county clerk what
you did to your registration.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
I just need to know what they think about it.
Speaker 9 (07:26):
I'm gonna walk up and just slap the soggy paper
on the counter.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
I doubt it's still soggy, right, soggy?
Speaker 6 (07:36):
Good luck?
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Only three dollars duplicate.
Speaker 9 (07:38):
It's Oh, that's much better than I thought it was
gonna be. I thought i'd completely ruined my life, and
I was gonna have to buy a new car.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Yeah, you sounded really sad.
Speaker 6 (07:47):
Car.
Speaker 8 (07:48):
Yeah, to get a new registration.
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Mistake you'larly make once?
Speaker 8 (07:53):
Yeah, until next time.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Okay, just after seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning, thank
you for starting with us.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Rick, He's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
If you go see the movie Wicked, you're gonna notice
something different about Ariana Grande.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
She's credited with her full name.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Now you might be thinking, okay, her full name, what
are you talking about?
Speaker 4 (08:13):
Her actual full name is Ariana Grande.
Speaker 8 (08:16):
But Terra.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
So here she is explaining why it's so different this
time around for this film.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Technically it's my little girl name. It's a technically a
little ari name.
Speaker 10 (08:26):
But no, I just feel like this experience was such
a homecoming for me. I feel like I came home
to myself in a lot of ways through what I
learned from Glinda from Alphaba. You know that was my
name when I went to see the show when I
was ten years old, and it felt like a really
lovely way of honoring.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
That kind of Excited to see the movie, I did,
like Wicked plays.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
What everybody's talking about right now, So I thought it
was really sweet. The idea behind that too, that this
is like a full circle.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Moment for her.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
She went when she was younger, that was her name,
and that's what everybody knew her or by when she
was younger.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Would you had to go see it for the first time.
So just a really cool moment.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
A lot of sentimental things happening around this movie. If
you're watching any of the press, please go watch some
of the interviews because it is very enlightening and very
powerful and very emotional this movie wicked. Red Door Saloon
has picked a new location for its third Nashville spot,
Donaldson most specifically twenty seven to fifteen old Lebanon Pike.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Will be their new spots.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Hopefully they're opening within the next four months or so.
The vibe in the menu is going to be the
same as the one in Midtown in East Nashville, so
you can expect the same.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Type of feel when you walk into there.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
But Red Door Saloon now they have three spots in Nashville,
which is really great to see. We love seeing everybody thriving,
all the businesses striving here in Nashville.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
We want more of.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
That, and these are the busiest days to travel this
holiday season.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
I'm going to tell you this so that you can
properly plan on your trips.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
So for Thanksgiving travel, the most popular day to leave
will be November twenty seventh, and after the holiday is
going to be November thirtieth coming back, So there's gonna
be lots of traffic the twenty seventh and thirtieth, lots
of people all on flights. When it comes to the
December holidays, December twenty third is the most popular day
to depart, and then the most common time is to
(10:12):
come back after New Year's Eve, So right after New
Year's Eve, it's gonna be really hectic. If you're wondering
where people are going, Florida is the top destination for Thanksgiving,
and then December also Florida. New Year's Eve, it's when
it switches to New York. Everybody's partying at the New
Year's Eve New York. Everybody's out there for that one.
But just keep in mind when traveling that it's going
(10:34):
to be very hectic.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Very busy those days. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Appreciate that Ricky jumping back into the music with Benson Boone.
Right after Beautiful Things, our buddy Zach has a fact,
Zach's Facts Next.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
River, Zach spa'x on one O seven five the River.
Speaker 8 (10:53):
Really random fact.
Speaker 9 (10:54):
But because today is election day, did you guys know
today it's going to be the warmest day on election
day since the year two thousand. Yeah, So if you're
going out to vote today, make sure we're short from
the tank top because it is warm.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Honey, Your idea of warm and other people's idea of
warm are two totally different things.
Speaker 8 (11:10):
It's the warmest day since two thousand.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
I heard your voice get that high before.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
How warm was this supposed to be today, Zachary?
Speaker 5 (11:17):
It's gonna be in the upper seventies today here in Nashville.
Speaker 9 (11:20):
Still the warmest day on election day since two thousand.
So that's your fact of the day.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
That is a faction.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
Indeed, I'm voting for Zach.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning on the River.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
That song is Brad. It's Hosier too sweet. It's one
of seven five the River.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
We found out yesterday that Brad is the Year of
the Word, thanks to Charlie x.
Speaker 8 (11:41):
The word of the year.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
The year I still don't what did I say?
Speaker 4 (11:44):
The word?
Speaker 5 (11:45):
Oh I did?
Speaker 4 (11:46):
This year is the year.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
Is a year of the word of the year. I
still don't know how to use it.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
You use it incorrectly almost every ag.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
We want to hear what slang you are still using?
Outdated slang you were still using? They give me a
hard time around here? Is I say rad all the time?
It's just part of my vocabulary.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
You also say it so excitedly that it's just funny.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
I'm excited because something's rad. Oh my god, it's so rare,
it's red.
Speaker 9 (12:11):
Yeah, that should not be part of your vernacular any longer.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
I don't think that's an outdated bro pretty outdated.
Speaker 5 (12:17):
Six one five, seven, three seven nine one o seven.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
If there is a word that some people in your
life give you a hard time for using, my dad
says holy mackerel all the time.
Speaker 9 (12:25):
Oh, oh, holy mackerel. That's really wholesome and sweet. Yeah,
but a little outdated.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
Six one five seven. If you have one seven five
whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa? That was not brad at all.
If you have one must know.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Here's Mark Amber on the roofs Ricky is Zach and
manno in the morning on the river to make a
fun of Kevin because he uses outdated slang and he's
convinced that other people use it too.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
Lillian Hendersonville, where do you stand on rad I.
Speaker 7 (12:55):
Don't know, because I'm the embarrassing parent that still says
I'm I'm cool.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Do you also say rad? Probably I'm still the nifty parent.
Speaker 11 (13:06):
I'm the nifty parent.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Yes, I love a nifty parent.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Oh no, I like nifty.
Speaker 7 (13:12):
I too, I think it silly.
Speaker 6 (13:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
One day Ricky's gonna have kids and she's gonna say, like, oh,
I love you're outfit. You ate today, you look sick tight, bro,
and the kids are going to roll their eyes at her,
like our kids roll their eyes at us.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
I wouldn't even say that. Now it's thirty two. You
just say I'm twenty nine, and I still do that.
Ho Lily twenty nine, but with the heart of an
eighty two year.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Old, she says, nifty.
Speaker 11 (13:40):
Well, I was raised by my grandparents.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
I love it, Lily. Thank you for calling. We appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
You're adorable.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
Thanks God, have a bread day.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Oh that's not heaven. It works.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Brian in the car right now on his way to Dixon.
What slang are you still using?
Speaker 9 (13:56):
Man, I'm on all cool by Oh no, Brian, can
you use it in a sentence please?
Speaker 5 (14:07):
Man, I think what you're driving it?
Speaker 2 (14:11):
But doesn't it sound a little cool because he sounds
like Matthew McConaughey a little.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Bit, just kind of sound like Matthew McConaughey. Brian, how
old are you? If you don't mind me asking, I'm.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
Fifty years young.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
You guess you are right, all right?
Speaker 8 (14:24):
And that is cool beans, Brian. Hey, I love y'all.
Speaker 1 (14:29):

Speaker 4 (14:32):
We love you. Thank you for calling in and for
talking to us.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
You made us giggling, you made us laugh.
Speaker 7 (14:36):

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (14:45):

Speaker 3 (14:50):

It's two million pounds of ice sculptures there. It's pretty sick.

you want to be a part of it, give us
a call right now. Six one five, seven, three seven, nine,

Speaker 4 (15:14):
I can only handle so much Christmas music.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, Ricky's only letting me play two seconds of the
song or else she's gonna snap my neck.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
Yeah, but if you want to play and go to I.
Speaker 2 (15:23):

music this early in this season.
Speaker 5 (15:57):

Speaker 2 (16:30):

celebrating Christmas.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
I'm just not on board.
Speaker 11 (17:04):
I'm gonna put my Christmas tree up, don't you.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
Actually, it's like, leave me alone, all right.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Thank you for listening, Thanks for calling and playing the game. Congratulations,
hang on, okay, thank you.
Speaker 5 (17:16):
And Merry Christmas, and make sure you vote.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Stop saying Merry Christmas so much. It's November. Three things
you need to just.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Past eight o'clock on this Tuesday morning. We really do
appreciate you starting your day with us.
Speaker 5 (17:29):
We always do it. Rick he's got those three things.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
You can watch the first seven minutes of Smile too.
If you do this one thing so, you have to
smile into your webcam.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
The whole time.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
It can be a light smile, it could be an
aggressive one like what's in the movies.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
But you have to smile the entire time.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
The web page requires an age verification before you're directed
to the screen that asks for permissions for them to
use the camera access. Then the screen prompts you to
smile and hold it for the full seven minutes of
the clip.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
If you think you can outsmart it, you can't.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Okay, the web page it'll flash your image green upon smiling,
and then it'll change to red flashes. If you stop smiling,
the screen then goes black and it will say a
message that says keep smiling period.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah, really creepy, really cool.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
I want to try it.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Might as well we could try it together, Kevin, because
we said we wanted to see smile.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
Yeah, we'll try it together. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Vanderbilt football has secured the team Bowl eligibility for the.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
First time since twenty eighteen. So congrats to Vanderbilt football.
They're seventeen to seven.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Victory over Auburn over the weekend is what sealed the deal.
We're going to know more about when, where, who they're
going to play against later in the season, but for now,
you can look forward to their game against South Carolina
on Saturday.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Root for them, cheer them on. This season's been wild
for Vanderbilt, so we.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Love watching and we love seeing that supporting local teams
and Starbucks holiday menu and their cups are all available.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
This Thursday, so just a few days away.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
This year's cups are five different designs that feature the
theme Merrier together. They're using the traditional Starbucks green color
as well as cranberry red, some.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
Soft pastel shades for all of these new cups.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
We don't know when the red cup day is going
to be when they give you that reusable cup.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Oh sure, We're not sure when.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
That's happening so far. It's the holiday menu that they're
focusing on. So Thursdays when you're gonna get the holiday
cups and the holiday menu.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
So if Gaylord is embracing the holidays, Starbucks is embracing
the holiday hues. It just say Mery Christmas, No say No.
Sabrina Carpenter getting back and Music.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
On the River.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on five.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Ricky wants to come up with some rules for road trips.
And I can tell you right now, Ricky, I think
we're already going to disagree a bit on.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
Some of these.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
Is it because you know what mine's gonna be.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
I know what I heard you say one of them,
and I don't agree with it.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
You don't agree.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
I think that everyone in the car should have equal
time picking the music that they like for the ride
during the road trip.
Speaker 9 (20:03):
Absolutely not what I think. The drivers should be in
charge of the music.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
And no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
You need your energy.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Then I'm in the passenger seat and I'm miserable.
Speaker 8 (20:14):
Well that sounds like you problem. Maybe you should drive.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
Okay, Then the passenger who's not me is miserable.
Speaker 8 (20:20):
I just feel like the driver should be in charge.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Let's open this up six one, five, seven, three seven,
nine one oh seven. Not only this particular issue, but
other road trip rules we want to hear.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
Yours and mind blown.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
I really thought that was going to be a straight
yes on both of your parts.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
No, no, no, no, wow.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
Who am I surrounding myself with?
Speaker 5 (20:37):
Six seven, three seven nine seven.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Let us know, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
On looking for road trip rules.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
Sheila in Fairview tell us your road trip rule.
Speaker 7 (20:51):
Well, I'm hard to disagree, Ricky, but the drivers should
have control of the radio because the passengers can put
things in their ears and listen to what they want to.
A driver can't do that.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
But then you're not really fully enjoying the road trip together.
Speaker 7 (21:06):
Well, okay, but you may not be. I get what
you're saying. There's that much of a difference in music.
You're also not enjoying it either, you know.
Speaker 8 (21:15):
I guess and riguee.
Speaker 5 (21:16):
I think you're coming from a great place. You want
everybody to be happy.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Should enjoy the road trip together.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
I feel like, in my experience now with a couple
of kids in the backseat, my wife next to me,
a road trip is not to be enjoyed.
Speaker 5 (21:27):
You just got to get through it.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (21:30):
Then there with kids, you have the DVD players and
the headphones and hopefully they're can do I'd be like
putting the DVD player through the speakers of the car
and the kids are watching it, and the driver's like, no,
that's okay.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
See that sounds terrible. She loves sound enjoyable for anyone.
Speaker 5 (21:48):
And I know I'm breaking my own rule right now,
But when the kids are in the car, I.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Do they typically pick the music because if they are
not happy, then it's a disaster. Then it's a when
are we gonna be there? And I'm board and all
that stuff. So if the kids are there, they're in
control of the music.
Speaker 7 (22:02):
Put put a DVD in and let them listen. Then
they got that in their ears, and then you can
be happy to you?
Speaker 4 (22:07):
So all right, she like, and then you disagree with me,
It's fine. I hope you have a great day.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
Or pick something you've all like that's the other Yeah,
like seven by the River. I take it with me
my phone everywhere.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
You have a great day.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Bye bye, I will get one more here, Amanda in Cookville?
Speaker 5 (22:29):
Where do you stand on these road trip rules?
Speaker 11 (22:31):
So I'm on a rule is he gets to pick
the music because he is usually the one driving.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Yeah, all right, so it's always the driver picking the music.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
You seem so devastated, Ricky, like you really saw you
were to swoop in.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
And chisel that one in stone and everyone would agree
with it.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
I really did, and no one's agreeing with me. But
it's fine. You're all wrong. But it's fine.
Speaker 11 (22:54):
But my husband and I like to say, oh.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Then you got it easy, Amanda, see my fiance I
we kind of like the same music, but not exactly.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
It doesn't always line up.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (23:05):
I know a lot about AJ, But what would his
go to be? What does he listen to?
Speaker 5 (23:08):
His number one?
Speaker 3 (23:09):
His number one is Bruce Springsteen, which I'm totally fine
with I love the boss.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
I'm good with that.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
But sometimes it's like he gets very fulky and almost
too folky that I'm like, I'm not on board with this.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
There's too many banjos happening here.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
A man, thank you for chiming, and we appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (23:28):
What about snacks?
Speaker 4 (23:29):
Oh, you gotta get snacks. It doesn't have to.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Be snacks that you share, but you gotta get snacks
before a road trip. I need them otherwise I get angry. Yeah,
so that would be rule number two would be have
to have snacks. And my fiance knowsza because he'll normally
go get the snacks before we even go on a
road He's similar idea of the kids in the car,
He's like, as long as she's yes.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
Yeah you are.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning, Columbia.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Welcome to road trip rule chat here on one seven
to five the River. We've been disagreeing in the studio
about who controls the music and a road trip.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
Do you have an opinion on this?
Speaker 4 (24:06):
I do, all right, Sarah? What is it?
Speaker 6 (24:08):
So?
Speaker 11 (24:09):
I'm very middle of the road. I feel like, if
you know you're taking a road trip, sit down together
and make a playlist of.
Speaker 7 (24:15):
Stuff that you both like.
Speaker 11 (24:16):
That way, nobody's miserable, and it's stuff that you know
you're both gonna enjoy and you can jam out and
have a good time.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Sarah, I love this idea. I'm fully on board. It's
what I'm going to be doing for my next road trip.
Speaker 8 (24:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (24:28):
And honestly, anybody that I'm gonna be stuck in the
car with for any amount of time usually is gonna
have the same case of music as me. Anyway, that's true.
On the obschance that they don't, there.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
You go, well, no, all of us could be so lucky, Sarah.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
I do do this, though.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I will make a playlist that's half songs my son
picks and half songs that my daughter picks. So it's
half Taylor Swift songs and half Nightmare before Christmas song.
Listen to that whenever we do a road trip.
Speaker 11 (24:54):
Okay, but honestly, that's my whole vibe too.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
You're welcome to join the man O family.
Speaker 11 (25:00):
I'm hopping in.
Speaker 7 (25:01):
I'll be in the back.
Speaker 8 (25:02):
Serious question for you, though, what's your go to snack
on a road trip?
Speaker 7 (25:05):
Oh my god, Okay, probably that's all I said.
Speaker 11 (25:12):
As a kid, that was always my mom saying she's
like passing the pepper jerky in the back seat for me.
Speaker 8 (25:18):
See, and we could definitely go on a road trip together.
I'm ready, I'm down, let's go.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
My kids will be waiting for you. Guys, have fun.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Thank you so much for calling in, Sarah. We appreciate you.
Have a great day.
Speaker 9 (25:29):
Bye.
Speaker 5 (25:29):
I love you, guys, Love you and Ricky.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
Do you have a go to go to snack is pretzels?
Gluten free pretzels?
Speaker 6 (25:36):
You?
Speaker 5 (25:36):
I was gonna say the little like I like those
flat little pretzels.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
What do they call the things?
Speaker 5 (25:40):
The pretzel chips? Yes, yes, they're good.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Combos used to be my favorite. Yeah, I can't eat
the combos anymore. It's fine.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
No one doesn't just say.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Now, Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
It's what it's like to be a productive yet easy person.
And I relate to this very much. So I watched it.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
And I was like, yeah, that's me.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
What are you doing.
Speaker 12 (26:07):
I'm building a three D printer that I found from
scrap metal outside in about one hundred and sixty three
hours of YouTube videos, that is insanely impressive.
Speaker 7 (26:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (26:15):
Thanks? Is it done? No, it's missing one last piece here.
It's just like a little screw. Oh, well, when you
go to the store, I can come with you. Oh no,
I'm not gonna have the store. Oh do you already
have a screw here?
Speaker 7 (26:25):
No?
Speaker 12 (26:25):
I was just just missing. So how are you gonna
finish it without the screw? I mean, I'm sure there's
like a screw that's gonna pop.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
Up, right, But you're almost done?
Speaker 12 (26:33):
So why wouldn't you just go grab a screw.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
From the store.
Speaker 12 (26:35):
Yeah, but then I gotta get up, walk outside, grab
my keys, start with the car, drive to the store. Yeah,
how else would you get to the store?
Speaker 8 (26:42):
What are you doing? I'm just editing a video.
Speaker 12 (26:44):
I feel like you've been editing that forever. Okay, it's
taking me like fifteen hours.
Speaker 8 (26:48):
Well is it I'm done?
Speaker 12 (26:49):
Yeah, I mean it's just about done. It's just it
kind of looks a little weird here. I feel like
I have to refilm this part. When are you gonna
refilm it? It just feels like a lot of word
more than the fifteen hours of editing.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
A lot of us can relate to that, honestly, just
my everyday life, the one little tiny inconvenience you're like, no,
don't really care anymore.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
I'm done over it.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
That's very funny.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
