Speaker 2 (00:02):
Hello, and good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Wednesday starts right now. Thanks for starting with us. Ricky
Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
People's Sexiest Man Alive was announced last night by Stephen
Colbert and he is none other than John Krasinski. He
said his wife Emily Blunt was going to wallpaper the
house with his Sexiest Man Alive cover, which I am
fully on board with. If you don't know John Krazinski,
you probably would if you think about The Office.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
He was huge in that Jim Halpert.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
He also obviously was a huge part in Quiet Place
and Quiet Place too. He's the director as well as
starring in the first one.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
And honestly, he's prettyod looking guy. So I get it.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
You feel good about this, then I feel good.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
I'm not upset about it.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I'm not mad at it. I think he's a good
looking guy and.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
He's funny, you know, like a personalities always kind of
make them a little more attractive.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
That's John Krasinsky.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
I will post a picture of him as the cover
of Sexiest Man Alive on People's.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
Magazine so you can see.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
What he looks like at one O seven five of
the River's Instagram page.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
In the stories.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Three Tennessee restaurants made Southern Living's recent fifteen Best Roadside
Restaurants in the South list. The quote pillowy biscuits at
the Loveless Cafe made a really big impression on them
to add them to the list. The rustic cabin like
interior at Fat Tiger, Korean Barbecue and more, and White
Bluff What's very memorable, mostly because it's pretty misleading considering

(01:23):
that they specialize in Korean.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
Food, but it looks very rustic and cabin like. And
also b E.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Scott's Barbecue and Lexington, Tennessee also made the cup for
their Jumbo sandwich and fried Pie. I don't know what
fried pie is, but I'm in it sounds amazing. And
Burger King is selling new fan created whoppers for a dollar,
so they're selling these million dollar one dollar whoppers. Therefore
rewards members starting this week you can get them. It's

(01:51):
a thank you for participating in their million dollar whopper
contests where fans submitted their ideal whopper creations. So out
of a million entries, they picked just a few of them,
three of them, and you can taste them and vote
for them starting tomorrow. So the finalists include fried Pickle
ranch whopper, Maple Bourbon barbecue whopper, and Mexican streakcorn whopper.

(02:13):
So you can vote for your favorite one with the
QR code on the wrapper. So go try them out.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
A lot of food stories. There, a couple restaurants and morning. Okay,
Krazinski's a snack.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Snag, he's a whole dinner.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Kevin one O seven, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (02:32):

that we want to hang out.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Great stipulation, Kevin, I don't know how Okay, anyway, call
us right now six one five, seven, three seven nine
one o seven. Apparently Kevin has a list of questions
to make sure you're cool.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Well, it's very like, uh like this small little private
club here that we're putting together.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Well dream team.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Yeah, so you just want to make sure they're cool.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Next Tuesday night, we're hanging out with you.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
If you're the first caller, hell over here, gonna make
sure you're cool enough.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
Talk to you night, Ricky, Zach and menow In the morning.

Speaker 3 (03:40):

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Are you cool?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yeah? I think so.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
What do you think is the coolest thing about you?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Lots of people like me.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Oh that means you have a good personality.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Yeah, this whole idea is just so silly to be Missy.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
I'm excited to you.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
You are our first color of the day on one
of seven five the River. So you're gonna hang out
with us for our family free Thanksgiving.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, we're trying to throw like a drama free you know,
none of the headache you might get with your real family.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
All cool people.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
That's exactly what I'm getting at.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Don't if you're doing this sort of thing, don't you
want to have some cool people.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
At the table. All cool people.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
This is the.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Last seat at the table.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
We just needed to make sure it goes to the
right person, and I think we found that person.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Well that sounds great, Missy.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
I believe that you're cool. But it's just funny to
me that the dad.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Over here, Kevin, who says nothing but dad jokes and
outdated slang, wants cool people there.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Well.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
I don't have any kids, so maybe I'm.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
A little cooler.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Oh wait a second, No, we'll see you next Tuesday night.
It's gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (04:51):

Speaker 2 (04:54):
We'll see you there, Missy.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
All right, hang out so we get some information from you.
Now I feel tacked.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Yeah, that was a point.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Ricky and Zach, I have a homework related question for
you guys a little older than you, so you've been
in school more recently than.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I was, just a little bit older. Had a couple
of weeks. My daughter is in second grade.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
She brought home an assignment yesterday which really took me
back to my youth.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
Okay, did you struggle with it? Is that why you
need our help?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
We haven't even started it yet, but I have questions.
I just want to see what you would do if
you were in my shoes. Okay, so give me a
few minutes. We're doing ariana gronde who plays a Breen
and carpenter. And then my homework question to you guys hopefully.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
Can help all right.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Next on the River, Ricky is Zach and Mano in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
On Kevin has a homework question for Zach and I
and I don't know if it's that you need help
completing the homework or if it's something that you just
don't understand if they do homework the same as when
we did homework.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I want your opinions as non parents.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Okay, my daughter brought home like a little worksheet yesterday
that she has to make a diorama by Monday.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
So a diorama takes me right back to my days
in school. We used to make those, and they're not
super easy. I mean, it's pretty time consuming. And I
was talking to some of the exactly That's what my
question is.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I was talking to some of the parents yesterday I
pick up and they were like, oh, we got to
make these dioramas last year.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
It took me blah blah blah hours. And I was like,
wait a minute, who made it. They're like, well, I did.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
So it seems like a trend that most of the
parents are the ones putting in the work on this.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
But I don't know that I'm super comfortable with that.
I don't know how it worked. Do you think I did.
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (06:33):
I don't know it works, but I don't think it's fair.
Like if it's a child's homework, the child should have
to do it.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
But that's the thing, the child's still a part of it.
Like I was still very much a part of those things,
and I was still doing it with my parents.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
So tag teams.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
When it comes down to it, the parent.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Ends up doing the majority of the work, like putting
it all together and making sure that it actually stays together.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
That is it is terrible.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
And then you know that if all these other parents
are making it and then you you're the only one
making your can make it, there is going to be
so so much worse than all the others.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
You don't want to put that pressure on the kid.
Oh yeah, So I don't know how much of.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
The teacher knows when the parents did the work.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Of course they can tell like this was clearly put
together by an adult and not a child.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Well, then she have to make a diorama up the
White House. Oh that's cool.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Yeah, And other parents like, just go to Michael's and
get all the supplies.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
How much money do I have to stand on this
other thing?

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I remember my parents having to spend a lot of
money on those things. And you wait till the last minute.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
At least as a.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Kid, you're like, oh, that's a right, I have this
project due tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Consume the majority of our time. I think until Monday
is all weekend you spend in this diorama?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
What materials do? They tell you? The materials there like.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
You could use clay, you can use cardboard things, so anything.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Legos were on the list, and we have like bins
of just random loose legosa. I think she can probably
construct some sort of white House replica out of white legos.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Rkay.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
I mean, I don't know, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
I feel like I would use that cardboard.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
Yeah, okay, or Clay Clear. At least she can work
to Clay and have fun with him.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
You guys are somehow stressing me up so much more.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
You're gonna be at least one hundred bucks in on
this project, like without a doubt.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Three things you need to know seven o five on
this Wednesday and morning.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
We really appreciate you starting your day with us. We
always do. Thank you. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Denzel Washington says that Black Panther three is happening and
he's in it. He told the Today Show Australia that
there's a part being written specifically for him.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
He doesn't know what the role is just yet. He said, quote, at.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
This point in my career, I'm only interested in working
with the best, and obviously, with the great success of
the Black Panther franchise, safe to say that this lends
under that criteria. Uh. He continued to then list off
a bunch of other movies that he's going to take
part in before ultimately retiring. This is the first time
that he's ever really talked about you know, at some
point this is gonna be it.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
I'm gonna be retiring.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
But there were a bunch of different movies on that
list before he said he was going to retire, so.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
We got a lot more time of Denzel Washington. Don't
you worry.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Campbell's just released its State of the Sides report for
twenty twenty four, just in time for Thanksgiving.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
So fifty five percent.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Of respondents said that they would rather fill their plates
with side dishes instead of turkey. Nearly forty percent said
that they'd be perfectly happy with the plate of just
side dishes.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
With no turkey at all.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
And when it comes to the favorites, the top three
for twenty twenty four are stuffing, slash dressing, whichever way
you say it, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Potatoes always went out, That's just the way it goes.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
And Shelby Bottom Nature Nature play Area is undergoing renovations
right now. It's going to be closed for several months,
so this is just a heads up.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
It's all for a good cause, though.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
They're building a kid sized beaver dam tree trunk, balance
beams and climbing logs.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
And there's going to be a new shade pavilion.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
All the local support during the Great Shelby give Back
helped to fund this project, so they're getting it done. Obviously,
having it close to herself several months is, you know, unfortunate,
but it's all gonna be amazing once.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
It's finally done. I'm Maricky Sanchez and those are the
three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on one

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Zach Sack's on one O seven five the River.

Speaker 7 (10:14):
If you ever notice that your dog's feet smell like Frito's,
it's because they actually sweat through their feet.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Did you know that?

Speaker 5 (10:20):
So they're sweat smells like Friedo's.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I know that it's like bacteria they're smelling.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
It's because way they sweat, freedom smell like bacteria.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
This dog what yeah, kind of I mean, that's essentially.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Your hometown quiz starts right now. Currently, Mackenzie, who is
the mayor of Nashville?

Speaker 1 (16:46):
He's the mayor?

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Wait say that again.

Speaker 7 (16:48):
Who's the mayor of Nashville Jamison?

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Oh, say, well, we're not going to ever win that.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
It's okay. The answer was Freddie o'connald, Mayor Freddie O'Connell.
I did know it, but yeah, you're still alive. You
got two more questions here. Question number two.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
What automobile company has the naming rights to the stadium
where the Tennessee Titans play their home games?

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Yeah, there we go, Son Stadium. You knew that one.
You get this one right, you win the tickets.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
What superhero is synonymous with the Nashville Skyline.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
Oh Batman, Batman building.

Speaker 6 (17:31):
You did it.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Nice job. Freddie O'Connell's not so happy right now, but
you are.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
You got the tickets, Thank you, Congratulations Mackenzie. You're gonna
see Jelly Roll at Bridgetone Arena, his hometown.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
It's gonna be huge. I'm so excited for you.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Make sure you take lots of videos and pictures and
you tag one O seven five of the river and
all the fun you're having always all.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Three things, you know, yes, yes, all right, here we
go just past state o'clock. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Paul Mezcal He's going to be on Hot Ones this week.
The episode that he's on is gonna come out November fourteenth,
so tomorrow at eleven am. He is currently on his
press tour for Gladiator two, which comes out November twenty second. Obviously,
Hot Ones always tends to have something breakout from it.
I guess all that pressure from being under all that

(18:20):
spice and the heat, you gotta say something. So I'm
sure there will be something that we'll be talking about
tomorrow about this entire episode.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
There's always a viral moment from every episode.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
Yeah, genius move. It's one of those those ideas.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
That you're like, why didn't I take it?

Speaker 5 (18:34):
I didn't think about that idea.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Hbo Ceo has spoken out about the rumors that we're
not getting another season of Euphoria, and he said nothing
has changed. They're going through with filming, which he believes
is going to start at some point in January. Most
of the principal cast, which includes Zendias, Sidney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi,
Coleman Domingo, just to name a few, they're all going
to be returning to the new season. There's going to

(18:58):
be a time jump between the last season and this one,
since obviously there has been so much.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
Time since the last season. But everything is going to
plan as of right now. He wants everyone to know
it is happening.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
And Nashville has a new local spot that specializes in mocktails,
which is really cool. It's called the Mockery Bar inside
National Farmers Market. Caters to those who are looking for
fun and delicious, non alcoholic cocktails.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
This is also a huge trend with the younger crowd.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
A lot less people are drinking alcohol based drinks, so
they just released.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
A new menu.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
They got some holiday themed cocktails on there. Some of
them have some edible glitter. They come in cute little glasses,
so if you're.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Going to go go out go.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Check them out.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
They have non alcoholic wine and beer also available at
the Mockery Bar. I'murquy Sanchez and those are the three
things you.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
Need to know.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Happy to be your new best friends.

Speaker 6 (19:47):
Ricky zachon Mano in the morning.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
On one oh seven five the River.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
That's a little known secret of your profession, something that
people just don't know about, Things.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
That might blow your friend's minds when they find them
out about your job.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
For example, us as personalities on a morning show, we
don't pick the songs that are played on the radio
for you.

Speaker 7 (20:07):
No, So every time you get mad at us for
playing the same song over and over, we did.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Not do that.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Get mad at our boss.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yeah, we didn't do it. That's Jonathan's down the air
on the afternoon.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
So if you want to complain to someone, to call
Jonathan the bosson's the program director here.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
So yeah, thought of.

Speaker 6 (20:21):
Our Ricky zachon man in the morning, I'm gonna go.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
We were talking about little secrets of the profession that
people might not know. Ricky pointed out that in radio,
we are not the ones hand picking these songs.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Nope, we don't pick on our boss, does Jonathan Schufer iHeartMedia,
then you could just reach out to him. But little
known secrets of your profession. Obviously, it's fun to hear
these things because it's nice to know what other people
are like kind of experiencing. I have a list here
bartenders they look for discreete spots to google the recipe

(20:56):
of the rare drink that you just ordered, so they
don't have them all stuck in their heads. I will
tell you right now as a previous bartender, there is
actually a system in most pos, like the cash register
that you can look up recipes to different drinks when
you don't know what's in them.

Speaker 7 (21:12):
Yep, I've done that many of times when I was bartending.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
Look it up.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
There's so many weird drinks.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
That makes sense, Yes, especially like go to a place
with a very extensive menu.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
There's no way was memorizing all that stuff right.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Teachers do, in fact, have favorite students, is.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
What this is. We call those brown nosers. No, just
good kids.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
The best time to buy a car. This is from
car salesman.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
The best time to buy a car is the second
model year of its release. Year one, it's patchwork to
just get them off the line. Year two, everything is
fixed and has quality content.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
So that's something good to know.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
Your professors hate grading your papers almost, if not more
than you hate writing them, which I know for a
fact because my professors used to tell us that, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
I mean, that's homework for them too. They're taking it home.
That's that is a lot of work.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Whenever there was complaining about anything we had to write,
they would always be I don't want to read it,
but like, this is part of the gig.

Speaker 7 (22:09):
Well, I mean that's also true. Here's the thing is,
you only have to write one paper. They have to
read twenty five.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Huh and yes, so bad.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
Ricky Zach and Man in the morning.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
One five the river, double tap time. It's one O
seven to five the river. Ricky found this one and
it's the song of the winter.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
It's calling it now.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
It's a disk track by a kid and it's simplicity
is the key here. Okay, this has over thirteen million views.
It had like twenty thousand comments on it on TikTok,
so everybody loves it.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Yeah, can you omit this little kid sitting here with
this little DJ rig, whatever piece of equipment he has
making this song at home just for fun and thirteen
million views.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, unreal.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
Simplicity is key. Like I said here, it is. This
song is called Everybody Shut Up. A DJ want to
every they show.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Up in this world.

Speaker 6 (23:03):
Everybody shut up, everybody.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Every every everybody shut up in this city, everybody share
up in the day.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
That's pretty much yet just some noise and music from
there on.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
It's a dish track to literally every.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
To all of us, every and I gotta say he
nailed it.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
He did a great job. Can't wait to see what
he makes in the future.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
We all do need to shut up. So we're gonna
put that up on our Instagram stories at one seven
five the River on Instagram. You can find the daily
double lamp up there every single day. It's a it's
a good song. Thank you, Ricky, You're

Speaker 1 (23:41):
