Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, let's go just after six o'clock on this
Friday morning. Happy Friday, friends, We've made it. Ricky's got
those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Haley Bieber calls out Billboard after they named Justin Bieber
the eighth best pop star of the twenty first century.
Share it on social media. Quote, Billboard is a bleeping joke.
As per usual with a kiss print emoji. Billboard has
yet to announce their full list. As high as number one,
we still need to know number two and number one.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
We don't know who they're going to announce.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
But some of the others that are ahead of him
on the list were Britney Spears at number six, Lady
Gaga at number five, Drake at number four, and Rihanna
at number three.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Obviously a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Then started to comment back to her, agreeing or disagreeing.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Well, so that's how that went all over social.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Whatever you feel, I gotta say, nice, supportive wife. I
like that she's a big fan of her.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Absolutely, yes, it is very very sweet.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
KFC has a new lickable flavored wrapping paper for Christmas.
So this limited edition in paper tastes just like KFC's
original recipe chicken. They say that has a refreshing hint
of cranberry sauce and an aromatic pinch of stage. But
the issue is a lot of people don't know how
to actually properly lick it.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Are they getting paper cuts on their tongue?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
No, that makes sense, Kevin, but no, the lickable areas
of the paper have a protective cover, so the whole
thing isn't lickable.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
You can't just like eat it.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
There are certain spots that have a piece that you
have to pull off to then be able to lick it. Also,
you have to give it a few licks to get
the full flavor.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Soessa heads up.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
You can grab the wrapping paper for free in stores
while supplies last, so go grab them. Don't like the
parts that you're not supposed to lick, and definitely don't
eat it. It's not actually edible. Just a few heads up,
and Jojo has announced that she's going on tour and
she's kicking it off in Nashville. The Too Much to
Say Tour is not going to start until February twenty second,
but it starts here in Nashal at Marathon Music Works.

(01:58):
Tickets go on sale today at Tenda a M. I
know Zach and I are both going to be online
trying to grab ourselves.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Jojo fans, we love joj Okay, that voice is unreal,
very underrated artists.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
We're talking about Jojo Siwa.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Right, No, we're not talking about Jojo Siwah. Go home, Kevin, one.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
River, Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:17):

you do for a living.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
I'm a restory therapist.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
What does that mean?

Speaker 5 (02:33):

Because we're it's right next to Thanksgiving. I'm okay with
the week of Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Thank you for what you do.

Speaker 9 (03:58):
Give your friends a big old hug from us and
appreciate them.

Speaker 7 (04:01):

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Thank you so much for waking up and starting your
day with us. We really appreciate it. Congrats on one
of these passes. I'm gonna put you out hole for
a sec.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
All right, okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
And that was the end of the last first call
of the day.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I'm going to literally turn your microphone.

Speaker 8 (04:17):
Off here to make Nashville traffic just a little less stressful, Ricky,
Zach and Manno.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
In the morning we get in Nashville is no different
than every other weekend. There's always so much to do
and Zach's got a full list of things that you
should put on your radar.

Speaker 9 (04:31):
It's almost Christmas time, right, A Kerrey even said so,
so there's a lot of Christmas events that are happening
this weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Oh, I like it just for you, buddy.

Speaker 9 (04:40):
So, first of all, Dancing Lights of Christmas is back
again this year. It is at the Wilson County Fairgrounds
in Lebanon. So on Friday and Saturday they're open five
to eleven, and then every other day of the week
they're open five to ten. It is only thirty five
dollars per vehicle, so pack your entire family in one
vehicle and there's like over two million lights and it

(05:01):
is so cool. And at the end they have Sata's
village where they have Santa, They have a petting zoo.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
They have a helicopter that you can take a helicopter ride.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Just about to ask if they're doing the helicopter ride.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah, yeah, so much fun.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
We've driven through it. I've never done the helicops.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Oh my god, it's so fun.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It's really cool.

Speaker 9 (05:16):
You can see all of the lights like from up
in the in the helicopter.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
It's really cool. See but it's a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah, you say vehicle like Jonathan says, vehicle you is
really pronounced.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
That h J boss apparently, next says it.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Weird, like Zach.

Speaker 9 (05:30):
Next, Centennial High is having their holiday craft show. So
Centennial High School is right off Mallory Lane and Franklin
and they are having their annual craft show. So there's
over one hundred and ninety different vendors at that's going
to be at the high school.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
And I thought this part was really really cool.

Speaker 9 (05:44):
Their theater department will lead games for kids and they'll
be dresses like holiday characters and princesses cut So you
can go. It's only five dollars to get in and
all of the money goes back to the kids and
like the theater and choir department, which is really sweet,
very cute. Also, if you're a huge Nashville Predators fan,
they are having a signing this weekend at the Mall

(06:05):
at Green Hills. It is from six to seven pm
on Saturday, and a bunch of different stars like Ryan
O'Reilly and Michael mccaren are going to stop buy the
new Nashville Store for photo ops and they can sign
different merchandise for you. So we are gonna have some
of our very own Nashville Predators there love so if
you love them, then you gotta go. And then lastly,

(06:27):
the Nashville Flea Market is this weekend at the fair Grounds.
So it is today all the way through Sunday, so
you can go. You can find some Thanksgiving treasures like
those old little trinket cups if you want.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Or you can go a good drinket.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Ricky does love Anko. I'm a big drinket guy myself.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
So they have antiques to harvest inspired decor a bunch
of different things for the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas
at the Flea Market this weekend at the Nashville Fairground.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Did you love that flea market.

Speaker 9 (06:56):
It's fun.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Daughter got like a little jewelry box there one time
and she loves it. She still loves Yeah, it's super cute,
all about trinkets.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Thank you, Zach.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Appreciate that, buddy. Welcome Three Things you need to know
seven oh five on this Friday morning. Thank you so
much for starting with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Abbit Elementary and it's always Sunday in Philadelphia is one
hundred percent official, and they have the crossover set to
air on January eighth, so mark your calendars. January eighth
is when it's going to air Abbit Elementary and it's
always Sunday in Philadelphia. No word on the premise of
how they're going to mix the two together outside of
the fact that they both take place in Philly, but

(07:34):
we will see January eighth what they're going to do
with that.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
It is very exciting.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
And the Hyatt Nashville, they have opened a rink above Broadway.
It's a fun little holiday feature. So the rink is
open all week long for ice skating. All ages are
welcome to skate, and reservations are highly suggested.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Depending on the day.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Tickets range from ten dollars to fifteen dollars per skater,
and anyone under eighteen has to be accompanied by an
adult twenty one or older.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Something to keep in mind.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
But the Grand Hyatt Nashville. Go check it out. It's
already open. Really cute little holiday pop up things happening
around the city. Zach mentioned a bunch of them earlier.
He will mention them again at nine p fifty if
you want to see what you should do this weekend
with the kids or even with your friends. There's always
so much fun stuff happening here in Nashville. And if
you have trouble sleeping, five minutes of extreme cold may

(08:23):
help you sleep better. So scientists in Canada and France
are saying that regularly spending five minutes a day in
extremely cold temperatures can noticeably improve your sleep. They did
a study involving subjects who just went around doing their
daily things that they would always do. The only exception
is that they spent five minutes stripped down instead of
a chamber chilled to negative one hundred and thirty degrees,

(08:47):
which is colder than the coldest temperatures recorded in nature,
so really really cold temperatures. But it helped them sleep
for whatever reason.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
They're looking to.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Do some more studies on this, find some more people,
do some more variables like throw those in there.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
But apparently cold weather helps.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
You know, I'm a fan of the cold plunge. I
keep hearing so much stuff about how good it is
for you, So this makes sense and I think we're
both going to sleep great tonight. If for spending time
in the studio today because it is literally snowing here.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
I'm Sanchez and those are the three things you need
to know.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Thank you, Ricky. Let's play Sabrina Carpenter right after taste
you know it. Zach's bax, He's got a good one.
Say it every day. Next on the River.

Speaker 8 (09:28):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Time for Zack's fax on one five the River.

Speaker 9 (09:35):
I have a little fact about Thanksgiving. Did you guys
know that only male turkey's gobble? Yeah, give me your best.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Gobble, like to like sound like a turkey.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yeah. That wasn't bad, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
It was very embarrassing to look at me.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Looked not well.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
You want to do it? You want to do it?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Good? You showed me up.

Speaker 9 (09:58):

Yeah, it's actually not a flower shop. It's a great
gift store and decorator heaven is what it is. And

rideshare drivers about the worst kind of passengers. Like, I
know some people are probably super like intoxicated, but like,
I'm sure everyone only have a couple fighting in the
back seat or something like that. I just I want
these stories.

Speaker 6 (17:38):
Luckily, I haven't had anything like that. The only thing
I've had was like, just helped the old man. He
had like a wheelchair thing and I had to help
him out of his wheelchair into my back seat. But
I felt so good for being able to be the
person to help him do that.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Sounds like he got the right uber driver that day.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Yeah, let's play the game.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Tate McCrae. Tickets on the line. You get two out
of three of these questions, right, they are yours? Okay, Okay,
Topical trivia starts right now. What TV host will be
leaving the Today Show on Friday, January tenth?

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Oh it's the older lady. Oh my gosh, what is
her name? I can't even think of it right now.
Oh my gosh. I was just watching it though. They
were crying and sat over it.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
It rhymes with a character from Star Wars.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
I can't think of it.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Oh, okay, try to give you a clue. It's Hoda.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Okay, that's okay, Betty. You got two more questions. You
got to get the next two right to get these tickets. Okay.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
What Animated Disney movie returns next weekend with a highly
anticipated sequel.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Oh is it Moana?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Hey Milana? There you go, you're alive. What country singer
was just named Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Award.

Speaker 6 (19:01):
Oh Morgan wallin there, Betty.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yeah, we needed a second to warm up, but you
found your groove and the tickets through your Yeah.

go see Tate McCrae.

Speaker 5 (19:25):

Speaker 2 (19:26):
And if anybody out there is getting picked up in
an uber and the driver's name is Betty, we just
talked to her. I didn't know where I was going
with it.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Three days.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
You need to know.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Just past eight o'clock on this Friday. Feels so good
to say it's Friday. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Mcnillar's album Balloonerism is going to come out January seventeenth.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
This is his sixth studio album.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
He passed away back in twenty eighteen, so this album
is old yet new at the same time because it
was created around the same time that his album Faces
was released back in twenty four So a lot of
his fans know about Ballunarism because he frequently spoke about
it and there was a bunch of unofficial.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Pieces that kind of circulated online.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
At one point, his estate set on social media that
this project was really important to him and he was
just really waiting for the right time to release it.
So now they are taking it upon themselves to release it.
January seventeenth is when we can hear it. I'm really
excited about this.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Mac Miller is one.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Of my favorite artists to ever exist, so this is
huge for me.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
I never thought that we were going to actually get
this album.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Pizza Hut has just unveiled a new gadget that allows
gamers to keep their pizza warm by using the heat
from their PlayStation five, which is genius and also wild
that it took us this long.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
To do this.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
What are they doing over their pizza?

Speaker 3 (20:45):
The Pizza Warmer is designed to look like a miniature
pizza box and it holds a bunch of slices at once,
not a full pie, but a bunch of slices.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
And it's not for sale.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
It's actually a free plan that you can get to
three D print offline.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Weird, right, well, really.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Cool though, So you can just go to Pizza Hut's website,
download it, and if you have a three D printer
you can print one yourself.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Wow, really cool stuff.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
And Nashville is getting the Salt Line Restaurant. It's a Washington,
DC based restaurant. It's set to open late twenty twenty

Staples from their original menu, like lobster rolls, seafood towers, oysters,
all that fun stuff. Plus there's gonna be reimagined seafood
classics that take inspiration from here Nashville. When it opens,
you can find it at the New River North Development
development project. Like I said, late twenty twenty five is
when they are going to open, and I'll keep you

(21:40):

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Seven five the River.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
We had an office potluck yesterday for Thanksgiving, a little
sides giving vibe. And you know when an office potluck
happens like that, or any kind of gathering in the office,
you're waiting for the drama. Sure, you're waiting for something
big to happen. You want something to talk about for
years to come.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Maybe people are having some drinks in the office midday.
You know, who knows, we'll get Maybe somebody's gonna get
food poisoning from the dish that Carol and Accounting brought in.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Nothing like that happens.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Drama free, drama free.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Entirely, which is I guess great, But I want the drama.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
I want to hear some drama.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
If you had a pot luck or any kind of
office gathering for the holidays where something went wrong, a mishap,
call us right now and tell us about it. I
need I need to feed that part of me that's
missing the drama.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
We want to hear what happened six one five, seven,
three seven, nine, one oh seven. We want your your
office pot luck stories. Ricky, would you say yesterday you
were out of pot luck?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Kevin, you didn't get the drama.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
That just made it worse.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I know it was, so I'm kicking.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
You while you're down, Ricky, second man in the morning, Wow.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Smith on one oh seven five the River. We had
an office pot lucky yesterday, sides giving, and there was
not nearly enough drama for Ricky.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
No, I wanted more drama.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
So we need it from you now.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Darryl and Murphysborough.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Feed that part of me that needed some drama from
our office pot luck. What happened at one of your
office parties?

Speaker 7 (23:13):
It wasn't It wasn't a plot lucky, but it was
an office party. It was a Christmas party and a
guy I worked with his girlfriend at the time, was
there and in the middle of it, asked the DJ
to play a certain song where he sang to her
in front of everybody and.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Then proposed, oh at work, yeah, nobody knew her what
So she was surrounded by strangers and this guy sings
in front of everybody and then proposes, yeah, and he.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
Was relatively new too. It was just it was weird,
and she said yes, I think it was one of
those there was like no answer where like can we
talk out that I'm guessing No.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
My goodness, this is horrifying. I would be so embarrassed.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
But you would love it because that's what you were
looking for yes esterday. You want you want the drag.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
No, I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
If I were the one, if I was just working,
if I was Daryl, I'd.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Be like, this is the best thing ever happened to
me in my life.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
You'd start filming it.

Speaker 7 (24:11):
According to Facebook, they're not married.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Oh they're not married. Okay, so maybe it didn't. Maybe
that ended that.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Night, understandable, honestly.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
All Right, Darryl, thank you for calling, buddy. Have a
great day and a great weekend.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
Thank God.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
And hey, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 8 (24:24):
It's not Christmas time day, Ricky, Zach and Menno in
the morning on one the River.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
It's time for a daily double tap on one oh
seven five the River. This is a video that we
found on social media that either has gone viral or
we find funny. Kevin found this one especially funny being
forty years old.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
I'm forty one now, so yeah, I've had some time
with all these issues under my belt at this point.
But I want you guys to see if you can
relate to any of them. You're not quite there yet,
but see how many of the things this guy names
are giving you issues. Here we go. I'm forty. I
threw my back out plugging me in my phone charger
the other day. I'm forty. I need to turn down
the radio to make a right hand. I'm forty. I

(25:01):
have a new found obsession with the weather.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
I'm forty.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
I'm gonna notice a nice fence when I drive by.
I'm forty. Why are everyone's headlights so bright?

Speaker 4 (25:08):
I'm forty.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
If there's no seating, I'm not going I'm forty. If
we're going out to eat, let's.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Do it at four thirty to beat the rush.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
I'm forty.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
There's no reason anyone should be visiting me after six pm.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
I'm forty. The only clubbing I'm doing these days is
Costco and.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Sam's all very true. I don't feel like I might
be forty. You relate to all of it, every single
one of those.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
I don't relate to any of it. Really, what Yeah, No,
I don't.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
I don't vibe with any of it. I don't care
about the weather. I can stand for long periods.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Every once in a while you will come in and say, oh,
that was such a beautiful sunrise.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Yeah, but that's not the weather.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
It's kind of the weather.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
No, it's not. Is it not the sunrise?

Speaker 7 (25:46):
Is?

Speaker 2 (25:47):
It's not the weather, it's the sky.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
Yeah, I like the sky.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
I mean, I'm forty saying.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
I put in the same category.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
I'm gonna post it on one of seven five the
River's Instagram account in the story, so you can watch
it there.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
See if you relate to any of these.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
I've never thought about that. But is the sunrise the weather?

Speaker 1 (26:04):
No?

Speaker 9 (26:05):
I mean they do do it during the weather forecast,
like the meteorologists always say it.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, my god, I need to go so I google it.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah, the sunrises the weather.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
You do here to make Nashville traffic just a little
less stressful, Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning

Speaker 4 (26:20):
