Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Six o'clock here on this Friday morning in Nashville. Good morning, friends,
Thank you so much for starting your day with us.
Ricky Sanchez, to my right over here has those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
A fund has been created to help those impacted by
the Antioch High School shooting. The Community Foundation of Middle
Tennessee has established a fund that aims to assist students,
staff and families that have been impacted by the shooting
that happened Wednesday morning. A teen student, Joslyn Corea Escalante,
lost her life in the shooting before the shooter took
his own and two others were injured in the cafeteria

(00:34):
of Antioch High School. The National School Violence Support and
Healing Fund will go directly to the victims' families, those injured,
and individuals experiencing emotional trauma. Mayor O'Connell said, it's a
new charitable fund and it's going to help address mass
violence incidents on school grounds or during school events in
Davidson County.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
If you want to donate, you can go online.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
CFF dot org. They accept checks, mail to them and
online donations. I'm also going to post the link at
one O seven five of the River's Instagram account stories
so that you can go right to it very easily.
It's c FMT dot org. That's the Community Foundation of
Middle Tennessee. Lyn Manuel Miranda wanted a part in Wicked

(01:21):
but was turned down, so he's been tweeting.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
About his desire for this specific.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Role in this movie since twenty sixteen. He said that
in a Digital edition.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Commentary, the director had mentioned that.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
He called him many times looking for a very specific part.
He wanted to play the munchkin Land citizen who at
the beginning of the movie asked Linda, is it true
you were her friend? When referring to Alphaba and John
mchu said that he thought that having Lynn Manuel Miranda
as a cameo would be too distracting, which probably shocked

(01:55):
Lynn Manuel Miranda considering that he has been so well
known in Broadway and also he worked with John m.
Chew on The Heights, so they're friends. Yeah, but I
get it, you know, it might be too distracting, especially
the very beginning of a movie, to have like, oh
my god, was that.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Later in that movie?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
But are they Lin Manuel Miranda? What do you mean, Like,
are they of the same?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah, people, that's what it takes a Broadway, Yes, because
it was have you seen That's why?

Speaker 5 (02:27):
And Chris and Cheno with.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Original you know, oh that I don't understand. That's what
I'm saying, sketchy saying though. Spoiler alert, it's been out
for months if you haven't seen it by now, and
this is what happens. Velveta is making sure that you
can easily travel with their cheese.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Now they're launching vell to Go.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
It's a single serve packet of Velveta cheese sauce. It's
designed specifically with millennials and gen zers in mind, because
apparently data shows that we like to carry along our
favorite condiments.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
I don't know if that's true for everyone.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I know I always have hot sauce in my purse, though,
so I am one.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Of these people.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Veltigo is limited edition for right now. You can buy
it at Walmart. I'm Rigsanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.

Speaker 7 (03:11):
Ricky zachon Mano in the morning on one River, I think.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
This might be Kevin's favorite giveaway because he keeps calling
it specifically stickers in small talk for the first caller
of the day on one O seven five.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
The River I think I'm not alone. I think people
love the stickers. In small talk, I mean the stickers.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Are pretty sick.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
They're limited edition, holographic Ricky Zachamano in the Morning stickers
that only a few people have because we only made
a hundred because we were paying for the stickers. Ye
make one hundred, and they're very cool.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I promise you.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
They are legit as they could possibly be. They will
stick on something and never come off.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
My daughter desperately wants to get hers off of her Stanley,
but it won't.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Come up about it.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
So if you all want six, one five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven, the last first caller of the day
of the week talking to you next.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
We only got a few stickers left too, maybe the
last one to ever get a sticky.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
One O seven five of the River Ricky Zach and
Mano in the.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Morning sit in Murphy's Boro.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Good morning, Welcome to one O seven five the River.
Are you on your way to work right now? It
sounds like you're in the car.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I am in the car boy.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
My sister's house.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
You take them to school.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, that's cool that you have a system like that
going on. It takes a village. Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
What are your boys names?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Henry and say hi guys.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I don't know if they can hear us, but hi,
you guys got anything fun plan this weekend?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
What are you doing?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Thank you again?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
There?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Okay, short attention, spans, I did that.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
All kids are like that. That's totally okay. Kristin, you
are the first color of the day.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
You are getting yourself a limited edition holographic Ricky, Zach
and Mano in the morning sticker that only a very
few amount of people actually have.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Wonderful I got.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Okay, perfect? Or I mean yes, I recommend putting it
on that water bottle or if you want to, like,
tuck it away somewhere like beanie babies. You know how
people used to collect them, because one day they're gonna
be worth millions. This sticker might be valuable one day.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Just Christin, that was great. Stick out your water bottle?

Speaker 6 (05:24):
Were it?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Proudly show it off to everybody.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
We appreciate you so much for hanging out with us
and for calling in this morning.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
All right, you guys, have a great morning. Bye, boys,
hang on the line so you can get your information.
Have a great weekend.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Okay, Thank you all right.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I'd love to say win another sticker in the future,
but that might be it.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I really don't. We don't have many less.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Oh, I don't know how much longer we're gonna have
these stickers hanging around. So congrats to Christen on possibly
the last one we ever give out.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Raife, Zach and Menno in the Mornings or he'.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Zach and Mano in the Morning on one O seven
five the River. This weekend, just like a weekend in Nashville,
has plenty happening, so much for you to do in
case you don't have a busy weekend, and Zach's got
the list for you.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Yeah. So one of our favorite events, it's actually a
bi annual event from our friends at the Nashville scene.
It's called Fashion for a Fraction.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Oh my, got my favorite.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
You can literally get some of the best deals, like
up to seventy five percent off on clothes, handbags, jewelry,
accessories like all of that. That's happening on Sunday at
the Factory in Franklin from one to four. It's called
Fashion for a Fraction. Tickets are only ten bucks.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
If you love shopping, I highly suggest going. I remember
I got an any old Iron dress for twenty five dollars,
which is typically so expensive for any old iron it
was originally one hundred and thirty dollars.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Well, yeah, you get great deal.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
So worth the price of admission for sure.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
Absolutely. Also, if you are single and ready to mingle,
they are doing Paws and Pairs, a dog Lover's singles
mixer at Urban Dog Bar. So it's gonna be tomorrow
Saturday from five thirty to eight pm. They're gonna have
different games, specials, all of these things, so you can
bring your dogs.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
That's really such a brilliant idea because even at these
like singles events, like it could be hard to go
off to somebody, but you're letting the dogs make the
introductions for you.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Oh if your dogs like each other, yeah, it's a
good sign.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Well that was I thought about this, Like, if I
was singling and I didn't have a dog, I would
definitely want to date someone with a dog.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Oh, I wonder if you can go dog humans are free.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
You can go for free and your dogs are twelve dollars.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Humans are free.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Also, Daisy Days is happening this weekend at Fat Bottom Brewing,
so it is to celebrate National Daisy Day and the
release of Fat Bottom seasonal beer. It's the Daisy Tangerine
Wheat Beer. So that it's happening all week and long
at Fat Bottom Brewing. And lastly, Kevin is actually going
to this this weekend, so we're gonna need a recap.
But the circus is in town. Ringling Brothers and Barnum

(07:52):
and Bailey are coming back with like the reimagined edition
of the Greatest Show on Earth. Apparently there's like seventy
five performers, eighteen different nationality, fifty circus acts like it
looks really really cool and it's happening all week and
long at Britstone Arena.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I'm very excited. I mean my kids are excited, yes,
but I'm very excited. I haven't been in the curcas
in so long and the Wrinkling Brothers and Barnman Bailey
are the ones.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
That do it right.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yeah, So, like a twelve year old boy, make sure
that's why you're so excited.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
Say, yeah, there's a lot to do this weekend. If
you're single, ready to mingle, if you want to take
the kiddos out, there's a lot going on around in Nashville.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Thank you so much that comprehensive rundown. Appreciate that, buddy,
And like we said, hopefully the weather a little bit
warmer this hope. So three things you need to know
a bit past seven o'clock on this Friday morning, Happy Friday.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Feels good to say that Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Apple Music has announced that Kendrick Lamar is going to
have a guest performer during his Super Bowl halftime show.
It's going to be none other than sizz Cool. The
duo have a few songs together. They have recently announced
that they're going to be touring together, so this just
totally makes sense. It's a great fit. Super Bowl is
happening February ninth, so make sure you're ready to tune in.

(08:57):
I personally don't have any skin and game more and
I never did because I'm a Jets fan and they
were terrible this.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Season per usual.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
So I will be watching specifically for the halftime show.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
And who would you say is headlining the halftime show?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
Got it.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Great song.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
We've still got a few games to go till we
know exactly who's going to be playing in the football
game itself. But now we know this, and like I said,
it's really all that I care about. This year Oscar
nominations are out, and here's what you need to know.
Amelia Perez topped the twenty twenty five OSCAR nominations.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
With thirteen nods.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
It was followed closely behind by The Brutalist and Wicked,
which both got ten nominations. Best Picture nominees are A Noora,
The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune Part Two, Amelia Perez,
I'm Still here, Nickel Boys, The Substance.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
And Wicked. That's a lot of movies, a lot of movies.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
As with every award season, there were notable snubs like
Denzel Washington didn't get anything for his performance It's in
Gladiator two. Margaret Quayley got nothing for her role in
The Substance. John m chu was shut out for Best
Director as well as the director of Conclave Edward Berger,
which both of those movies are nominated for Best Pictures,
So that's why everybody's shocked by those. Nashville got five

(10:17):
nominations for this year's James Beard Awards. This is really great.
They got nominations across three categories. Strategic Hospitality, who are
the people behind restaurants like Locus and Kisser were nominated
for Outstanding Restaurant Tour. Bad Idea in East Nashville was
nominated for the Best Restaurant category. Julier Hernandez at Mas

(10:38):
de la Vida, j Kewl.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
At Peninsula, Doung Junior Voue at Noco.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
We're all nominated for Best Chef in the Southeast. The
nominations will be narrowed down on April second, but we
are also very proud of everybody that has been nominated.
Nashville has really just got so many amazing places to go.
We say this all the time and we will continue
to say it on Ricky Zacamano in the morning. Go
support your local restaurants, shops, all the places that you love.

(11:05):
Make sure that you're checking them out. It's always fun
to go to the new places. We always want to
support them too, but make sure that you go to
your favorites and that you're checking out things that are
local to Nashville.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Think about those fancy restaurants, though, Ricky, they never have
any condiments on the table. There's never any ketchup or.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I know where this is going.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Yeah, r Zach and the Lord to teach us something new.
It's zachs Fax on one oh seven five of the river.

Speaker 6 (11:37):
So whenever you think about what Tennessee is famous for,
you think like Tennessee whiskey, or Dolly Parton or moon pies.
Did you guys know that Tennessee's also the birthplace of
mountain dew?

Speaker 1 (11:47):
No?

Speaker 6 (11:48):
Yeah, so apparently it was like made in Knoxville, which
kind of makes sense, the appalation mountains mountain dew. Yeah,
and then it was bought up by Pepsi Cola, and
then they gave it to the rest of the world. World,
so you're welcome world.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Do you guys ever have any like.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Old sayings when you see like a fog in the mountains,
like the Smoky's or something like, oh it gets all smokey.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
I don't know where this is going, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
My wife always says, oh, the rabbits are cooking, because
that's what her dad used to say.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
Okay, I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I think if anybody else has one of those, please
call not alone here.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
But yeah, that's what you says.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
Okay, Well that's your fact of the day.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
A couple of facts in there.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Yeah, ware you too many if you ask you.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Hey, what's up, buddy?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Hey, so Mount New of course Knoxville.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
But drop is in Plasky. Oh, I didn't know that.
And I love me some sun Drop. And every year
they do have sun Drop Fest down there in Plasky.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
What festival?

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Yeah, I want to do like a dunk tank into sundrop,
like where you have to throw the ball and it
dunks you into sun Drop. I don't know why.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
How did Zach die? Guys?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Oh, man Jay, thank you so much for calling him?

Speaker 2 (13:00):
How a good one?

Speaker 7 (13:01):
Ricky, Zach, and manow in the morning on one seven.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Five Sabrina Carpenter on one of seven five the River.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
I want to know your go to pizza order.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
It's apparently a stat that people do not change their
pizza order for two to five years.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
They get the same thing for that long experience.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
To mine my same Ricky and Zach.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Just I told them my pizza order a moment ago,
and their jaws were on the floor.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
You're a monster, and I don't know why we allow
you in the studio, but.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Don't approve of mine. But what is your go to
pizza order? Maybe it's worse than mine.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
It could be worse than yours.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
I'll tell you what mine is, and we want to
hear yours. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one
oh seven. Here's the weekend. Your go to pizza.

Speaker 7 (13:42):
Order, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
People order the same pizza order for two to five years.
They never switch it up. It's one of seven five
the river. Kevin's got a very specific one, and I
believe it's the worst pizza order on Earth.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I do. I'll tell you mine in a second, but
we I have a bunch of people calling right now
about their pizza orders.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
A Loo Hellower Antioch, tell us your go to pizza order.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
I go to pizza order is always pineapple on pizza.
Do him and pineapple from Jeff's Pizza Yo Hawaiian Pizza.
We all in this room back you up on that.
We like pineapple on pizza.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
I don't love it, but I won't shove it away
if someone gives it to I'm not mad about it.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I got a fact check, Zach.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
He said he said Mountain dew came from Knoxville.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
I think correct, it comes from Johnson City, Tennessee.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
Actually, if you do the research, a lo it was
distributed from Knoxville to Johnson City.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Oh ah, and did you.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
Know it was originally a mixer for moonshine. I did
not know that part, which makes sense because it's got
so much sugar in it.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Now we're all learning something new.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Thanks Alo, thanks for calling Buddy, Jackie and Nashville. Good morning,
Welcome to the river. What is your go to pizza order?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Well, typically order it's a frame.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
But every time I ordered us.

Speaker 6 (15:00):
Some mushroom pizza, like on Fridays when you donate met there,
they're like, what.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
Else you want?

Speaker 2 (15:05):
I'm like, just mushrooms.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
I love a mushroom pizza.

Speaker 7 (15:10):
I know.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
But if you order it like like you're crazy you
don't want anything else just mushrooms, but like just mushroom. Yeah, Jackie,
I don't think you're crazy at all.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
I love that order mushroom m pizza.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
It belongs.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yes, Yes, thanks for calling Jackie. Happy Friday. It's Friday,
so you're gonn get your mushroomizza?

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Ip.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Yeah, my love Eppie mushroom pizza day. Oh, here's my order.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
First off, I just want to say those are not
normal orders.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Like Jackie said, Typically they ask like.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Oh, what else do you want?

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Lots of people have issues with pineapple and pizza.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Right now, what you hear Kevin is about to say
is his go to order is going to shock and appall.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
You go ahead.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Our family gets pizza most of the time. We're disordering Dominoes.
There's one by our house. Both kids will eat Dominoes,
it's easy, uh, and I will get my own thin
crust pizza, which is very thin at Dominoes. No cheese,
extra sauce, red peppers, and onions.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
He gets a soggy cracker with red pepper and onion.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
I'm not denying that that's what it is. It is
a soggy cracker and it's delicious.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
I don't think it sounds that bad, but it's not
a pizza at that point, like, you can't say you
order pizza if it doesn't have cheese.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Well, it comes to a box from Dominoes.

Speaker 6 (16:21):
It's still not a pizza.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
It's basically Dominoes isn't even real pizza.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Oh Dominoes is good.

Speaker 6 (16:26):
I love Dominoes.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
Oh my god, I know I can't speak to either
of you.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
I love Dominoes, but it's like ordering basically breadsticks dipped
in marin aara sauce.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
That's what you're eating, Not even breadsticks. It's so thin. Yeah,
it's crackers and ketchup.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
It's like it's it's like a communion wafer.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Ricky, Zach and Juliet.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
What do you think of Kevin's go to pizza order?

Speaker 5 (16:52):
It's not it's not crazy. It's from Dominoes.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
It's thin crust, no cheese, extra sauce, red peppers and onions.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Good, well, more for me than Don.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, I guess you have to try it before you
can knock it out.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
Exactly what do you typically order?

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Don?

Speaker 5 (17:09):
We ordered a lot from Ziggy's. I don't know if
you heard of it.

Speaker 6 (17:12):
Ziggy's. Ziggy's, it's the best pizza.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Is one outside of Mount Juliet.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
You're going out towards the Levern.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Okay, what do you order from Ziggy's specifically that you love? Pineapple,
barbecue and chicken.

Speaker 6 (17:25):
Oh, that sounds good. It's almost like a meat zilla.
Give me all the meats. Yes, it's really good. All right.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
That sounds way better than what Kevin freaking order.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
We know that you don't like my pizza, Ricky.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Such a scary order.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Thanks for calling. Don have a great day.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Thanks, have a great day.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
But I am glad that we were able to plug
a local place, Ziggy's, after I plugged Dominoes.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yeah, because Dominoes is a real pizza.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
But it's fine, still pizza.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
It is good. Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Just say that these questions are very easy for topical
trivia on one oh seven five of the River.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
I think they are.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Let's take it morning to Robbie and Lebanon.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
How you doing good man. I'll tell you right now
these easy questions, as I called them easy. You're gonna
have a musical round today, okay, all music related questions
for you?

Speaker 6 (18:19):
All right?

Speaker 5 (18:20):
Does that make you confident or nervous?

Speaker 6 (18:22):
A little bit of both?

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Okay, that's okay. It'll help you get the questions right.
You gotta be a little bit nervous.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah, you get two out of three of them. You
were going to see Shine Down when they were here
in May. They're playing Bridgestone. The tickets are yours. If
you get two out of three Okay, okay, Robbie and
levinon Topical Trivia starts right now. We just found out
that someone will be joining Kendrick Lamar during the super
Bowl halftime show next month. Who is that guest performer?

Speaker 1 (18:51):
H I don't know.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
That's okay.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
We was just talking about it last hour.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, Ricky just earlier this hour brought it. Yeah, yeah,
we just found out. So it's okay, It's okay.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
It's Sizza.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
She's gonna be out there with them. Okay, all right,
you still you're still alive? Two more questions here. I
might have jinxed you by saying they were easy?

Speaker 5 (19:09):
What former super.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Bowl halftime performer will release a new album called Hurry
Up tomorrow one week from today? Uh?

Speaker 6 (19:20):
That Lady Gaga.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
No, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I absolutely jinx you, and I apologize sorry.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Robby, all right, thanks for calling in and playing along.
We appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
It's my fault say we're easy.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Yeah, you really did jinx all right?

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Good morning, Megan and Bowling Green. How you doing?

Speaker 2 (19:39):
How good you're contesting number two here?

Speaker 5 (19:42):
Hopefully you have better luck?

Speaker 6 (19:43):
Are you ready?

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I am?

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Round two of Topical Trivia starts right now we just
found out that Trevor Noah will be back to host
What Award Show for the fifth consecutive year.

Speaker 7 (20:00):
Okay, the Grammies.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
Megan who will be hosting and performing on SNL tomorrow night.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Is it?

Speaker 5 (20:17):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yep, it's my January win.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
There you go, shine down Bridge Stone, May tenth, you
will be there. We are so happy for you.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Okay, I've been past eight o'clock here on this Friday morning,
the happiest of Fridays to you.

Speaker 5 (20:38):
Thank you for starting yours with us. Ricky kind of
has the giggles, but she's also got three things you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
It's just something, something's happened off air that just they
then transfer onto air.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Kaitlyn Clark has partnered.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
With Scholastic to get books in the hands of kids.
So Scholastics donating twenty two thousand new books.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
To a Kaitlin Clark Foundation.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
These books are going to go to it's in pre
kindergarten through eighth grade who may not have easy access
to books, which is just absolutely amazing. They're going to
be distributed to elementary and middle schools, children's hospitals and nonprofits.
Most of them are going to be given out in Iowa,
where she's from, in Indiana where she's playing. But we
just love to see people doing good things to have

(21:19):
a voice and who have the ability to do these
things and have the money, you know what I mean
in the backing, So we love to see that Caitlin
Clark is doing this. Kudos to her. The White Lotus
has been renewed for season four, which is pretty amazing
considering that the third season doesn't come out until February sixteenth,
so it's not even out yet, but they're already eyeing
production for twenty twenty six. As of right now, it's

(21:41):
unclear where the fourth season is going to take place
or whether any of the cast members from previous seasons
are going to return. When we have more details, I'll
be sure to let you know. And I am waiting
for February sixteenth because I love The White Lotus. It's
so good. If you have not watched any of the episodes,
go watch it now. You don't have to watch the
previous ones to understand the new ones.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Just watch it. It's so good.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
And I just absolutely hate sharing these stories. But Portland
brew announced that it's going to close its stores in
six weeks. Their nineteen twenty one Eastland av location is
going to close. News comes after the coffee shop close
their twelfth South location at the end of the summer,
where it served the neighborhood for more than twenty years.
We say this all the time, constantly, Go shop local,

(22:27):
Go support our local businesses, whether it be a restaurant,
a coffee shop, a shop of nick Knacks, a clothing store,
whatever it is. We need to support the local places
here in Nashville and give back to our community so
that we can keep it feeling like Nashville. You know,
I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
You're supporting this local radio station. You have so many
choices out there, and we appreciate you. I have a
local every morning exactly the River.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Reiky, Zach and Meno.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
In the morning and you're in the shower, do you
scrub and wash your feet and your calves or do
you let the water run down your body and consider that.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
A good wash? It's one of seven five the River.
The reason I asked this.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Is that it's a common question that people tend to
ask friends, and we had a full conversation about this yesterday.
Before you say anything, Zach, I'm.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
Not saying a word.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (23:18):
I definitely wash my feet, my legs, everything with the
bar soap. I don't just trust the water.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
Okay, there you have it.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
I like to be clean.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
I like to be I.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
I don't want to criticize anybody listening that might be
the opposite of me, but for me personally, that is
how I feel clean.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Before Zach has his argument because he does not wash
his calves and his feet in the shower.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
No, I let the soap do its work. I like
wash down to my knees.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
We're gonna get there, because he's not the only one.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Every single man that I asked in this office, pretty
much except for one, does the same thing Zach does.
He just lets really just let the soap in the
water soap do it.

Speaker 6 (23:53):
Let the sub do its job.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
Do you wash your cat feet in the shower or
do you let the soap do it for you?

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, John.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
In Springfield, when you shower, do you scrub and wash
your calves and feet or do you let the water
run down with the soap.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Every part of my body?

Speaker 2 (24:15):
I use a loofa for my feet, and you know,
like some sort of washcloths or something for the rest
of my body has needed. You can eat a meal
off of John's body, I guess if you wanted to.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
I think it's interesting that not only do you like
clean your feet, but you have a specific different tool
to clean your feet that it doesn't touch the rest
of your body.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yeah, it's just habit.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
Yeah, good for you, John.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
I think that's a great habit to have. John, thank
you so much for your input. We appreciate you all.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Thinks Jackie and Murphy's Burrow.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
Are you like John?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Do you clean every square inch or just let.

Speaker 5 (24:47):
The water do whatever the water's gonna do. Like Zach, No, the.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
Water is not gonna move with the water.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
There.

Speaker 5 (24:52):
I feel like.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Girl. I get a pedicure every two weeks.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Does do that?

Speaker 3 (24:57):
I will say he does get a pedicure so that
when they scrub his feet, I guess for the first time.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
That month, Zach, Can I ask you question?

Speaker 2 (25:04):
If you're going to wash your hands in the bathroom here,
do you put a squirt of soap on the palm
of your hand and then just hold it under the
water and let it rinse off and.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Just let the water do it. Or do you like
rub them together?

Speaker 6 (25:14):
Well, I rub them together.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
You need the friction.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
Well, it's also touched in different places than your feet
ever touched.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Kevin, Oh my goodness, Jackie, thank you so much for
calling in.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
We appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
By Zach, We'll just give you the floor here uninterrupted
to make your case.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Okay, I already heard this yesterday and it was the
scariest quote unquote case.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
It's just factual information. So yeah, I washed down to
my knees and then I just let the water and
soap drip down and clean my feet. And if I'm
feeling like really dirty, sometimes I like stomp on the
soap in the bottom of the shower like I'm squishing grapes,
so then it cleans me between my toes. But I
just don't understand.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
How it's getting in between your toes that way.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
Though you got to open them up when you when
you stomp on them.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
That doesn't that's not saying that it's getting in between
your toes the way that it needs.

Speaker 6 (25:59):
To So many people say that they only wash their
hair once a week or not not that often. How
is that not more discussing than me letting soap drip
down on my feet. Your hair is out in the
public twenty four to seven, like all of these people
with the cold and flu coughing around. Now it's in
your hair. You got all of your dead skin on
your scalp and all of the hair product you're putting
in there, and you're you're telling me to.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Your head and coughing specifically onto your.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Head, specifically onto your head. But if you're coughing, if
they're coughing in your general area or speaking to you
or breathing, you're getting their germs in your hair.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I don't think they do recommend. They don't recommend washing
your hair that off.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
They don't.

Speaker 5 (26:36):
I hear you, though, you than your hair.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
They're clean socks that I put on this morning, and.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
If I could make a little they're trapped in there.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Slight argument for Zach he for so long was living
with that bad hip, which he has since had replaced,
but probably just became his routine to bend over.

Speaker 6 (26:54):
Yeah, I could have, because you know that that's such
a Lie, I like Kevin on my side.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
I couldn't couldn't wash his feet.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
To wash your feet, It's absolutely disgusting that you don't.
They're trapped in your shoes, in your socks, your feet
are getting sweaty.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
That's gross.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
It sounds like you have a footsweat problem, because my
feet are not sweaty. We know Kevin has sweaty feet.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
How did this get turned on me?

Speaker 1 (27:17):
Ricky, Zach and Meno In the morning, That bunny was.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
On the YouTube channel show Hot Ones, and there is
a specific.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Moment from it that's going viral right now.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Because it is just the cutest little moment ever. It's
today's daily double tap on one O seven five of
the River.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
I love Benito, so I know that I'm.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
A little biased, but it really is just an adorable moment.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
He was struggling through these wings. They were the wings
of death. Did not make it so he had two left.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
He didn't make it through the entire way, but he
was struggling at one point, and that's why this part
goes viral.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
Ice Cream ice cream.

Speaker 6 (27:52):
Yeah, that's on nice Yeah, check it out.

Speaker 7 (27:57):
I scream hmm, think yeah, yeah, yeah, I've got you.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
I've got you like that ice cream.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
I feel like I would have to have the ice
cream too, like they are even.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
He couldn have ice cream too, so it was like perfect.
But yeah, it was just an adorable moment. He did
not make it the whole way.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
Through you watch it though. It really was a good interview.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
So now he goes in the Hall of Shame on
how one he's there with Jim Gaffigan.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
I think he's going to ask for a rematch. I
feel like he has to because at the very end
of it he had said like how disappointed he was
with himself because he doesn't like to leave things unfinished,
and there were only two wings left. So I wouldn't
be surprised if he tries to at least come back
and redeem himself.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
I mean, he's like he's involved in professional wrestling these days, right,
He's always do to seven. He talks about how he
wants to like risk his life in the ring, but
he couldn't finish the wings, so that didn't Mandy couldn't
make it at one O seven five the River on Instagram.
Will put that video off there, sorry. Put the daily
double tap every
