Happy Valentine's Day!

If you need some ideas on what to do this weekend, we got you covered with a list of stuff happening around Nashville.

How much would you accept as payment for moving your seat on an airplane? (Zac's answer won't shock you-- hint: it's an insane amount of money)

Since it's Valentine's Day, we had to do some shout outs on the air. One shout out is so unexpected that we're going to need an update on it at another time.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
I sure do. And so first and foremost, I have
to tell you that.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
The play and Juliette is at tea Pack until Sunday.
I went and saw it already, and I will say,
hands down, one of the best plays I've ever seen
at tea Pack.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I'm so upset that I couldn't go.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
It's so good. So it's called and Juliette, and it's
there until Sunday. You have to go see it.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
It's a modern idea of Juliette, like if she didn't
actually fall in love with Romeo, right, yeah, like if.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
She was still alive, yes, what her life would be like.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Also, my girlies, there's a bunch of Gallentines things going
on this weekend. So Sunday the Virgin Hotels downstairs in
the common club area, they're doing a drag brunch with
Videlia and Gentry, which is one of my favorite drag queens.
So there's gonna be a cast of queens. There's they
have bottomless mimosas for like thirty bucks.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Like it's so hot see injurious it is.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
And then also Gallentine's Brunch at Von the l Rods
in the in Germantown is Sunday from ten to two.
They're gonna have a themed menu, hair, tinsel, tooth gyms
like so many fun things.

Sunday from tend to at Vono Rhodes.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I also love this because I feel like this is
my boyfriend's actual dream. It's called Beer and Cookies, so
it is the Black Abbey Brewing Company. They're doing this
at twelve pm tomorrow and so the brewery they'll serve
four ounce beer flights served with four different cookies.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
That is such a good idea.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
That is so much gluten though just the thought of
it has made my stomach turn.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
Well sounds great to me.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
It sounds amazing like if I could still eat gluten,
I would die for that.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
Do you like chili?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
I love chili?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Well good, They're having a chili cook off at the
Southern Grists Brewing in the Nations, So that's from twelve
to two. It's a third annual celebration. You get up
to fifteen samples. You get a beer and the opportunity
to vote for your favorite dish if you go for
the chili cookoff.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Okay, take it to like fifteen bucks.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Oh that's nothing.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
Yeah, in fifteen samples, we.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Have judged different chili cookoffs and that is literally my
favorite day of the year to.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Do that, honestly say, because I love.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Trying the different chili. Got I love food.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
And then lastly, let's not forget that Cody Johnson is
playing the Bridge The Bridge Zone is playing Bridgetone Arena
tonight and tomorrow night for his Leather Deluxe Tour. He
has special guests like Randy Hawser, Chess Chase Back Beckham,
Ashley McBride and Drew Paul Dridge.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Why can I not say names.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
No, but I love actually McBride so much.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
I love Ashley McBride. I also really love Randy Hawser.
So that's Cody Johnson is at Bridge Down Arena tonight
and tomorrow. So if you see a lot of traffic downtown,
that's why, and that's what's going on.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah, be careful.

Speaker 6 (06:42):
So there's a little update of what's going on this weekend.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.

Speaker 1 (06:47):

available in all app stores to download again.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
So users noticed the change last night and flooded their
social media platforms to let other people know that it
was back. TikTok was briefly deleted from all the app
stores after the short TikTok band that happened in the US.
If you had TikTok already, you were fine, but if
you deleted it, you couldn't re download it. There's no
word on how or why they wouldn't let you redownload,
and now they will. We don't really know what's going

(07:32):
on there, but other apps created by the same owners
of TikTok are also back in app stores, like the
creator favorite cap Cut and also Lemonade.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Which zachlubs I love Lemonade.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
So all of those are now back in the app
stores to download. Go ahead and if you need your fix,
download it now. Halsey has announced that she's going on
tour and she's got to stop in Nashville for my
Last trick. The tour is going to start May tenth
in California. They have a stop schedule for May twenty
first at a send amphitheater.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Otherwise, general on sale will happen next Friday, on February
twenty first, ten am local time. Also, I believe there's
a possibility that we may have tickets coming at some point,
So make sure that you are paying attention to one
of seven five the River and when we announce.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
Wow, Ricky giving out secrets left and right over here.

Speaker 4 (08:18):

Speaker 3 (08:20):

Speaker 4 (08:24):
They have officially brought back their Stroop.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Waffle, their stop waffle.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
I love those stroop waffles though, so good.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Oh my god, They're like tiny little waffles that have
caramel in them.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
I have had those po and they.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Used to always have them on flights and then they
got rid of them. They briefly put in these like
replacements of the chocolate keywall like alternative that everybody needed
and obviously sparked outrage for everyone, and because of that outrage,
now they're back. They officially made their return on the
first of February and people are starting to talk about
it now to let everyone know that you can get
your stoop waffle again on any economy service on flights

(08:59):
over three hundred miles.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
I'm so excited about this. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.

I'm so excited about this. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Alexis and Franklin, Welcome to one oh seven five The River.
The scenario that I posed was that you're on a
flight alone and someone wants to switch seats with you.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
How much would you accept as payment for this switch?

Speaker 11 (11:43):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
I would just put to them.

Speaker 10 (11:45):
I'm pretty I'm pretty open and would just let them sweat.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Okay, alexis way to make us all look sad over here.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Right now.

Speaker 8 (11:55):
I'm not flying any plains, but I would definitely let
them sweat for thing.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Have you done it before in the past? Have you
switched with people?

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Nice?

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Alex, You're so sweet? Is that the way with families?

Speaker 8 (12:08):
Like little kids and stuff? And then like maybe mom
and dad gets split up on the flight?

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
I mean I was in that scenario. I feel like
you're winning, like there is no payment needed. You're away
from the kids.

Speaker 7 (12:22):
Yet had two of.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Mine my own, and I would I would want someone
to do that for me, so I would do it
for them all.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
Lexis you are the sweetest.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
I think that is the nicest answer and not what
Zack and I.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Would have said.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
No, we need more people like you.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
We appreciate you were calling in love. Thank you so much.

Speaker 10 (12:39):
Thank you have a great Valentine.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Bye, Sydney and Hendersonville. What would you do if someone
asked you to switch seats on a flight. How much
money would you accept for it?

Speaker 10 (12:48):
I don't think it would be money. I think it
would be if I'm already at a window seat and
like he's at another windows seat, like yeah, sure. But
if I'm on a window seat and he's on an
aisle seat, now, oh, be necessarily money.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
You have stipulations here, and it's all about the seat placement.

Speaker 10 (13:05):
Yes, because personally I'd rather look out than just sit
in like a random seat where it's like I purposely
did not want.

Speaker 8 (13:14):
To sit out.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Okay, So if they wanted you to sit in the middle,
would you take a hundred bucks?

Speaker 10 (13:19):
No, it would have to be too fifty.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Okay, now we're getting my minimum. That is my minima. Okay, Sidney,
too fifty minimum. Good to know. Thank you so much
for calling U.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Of course I'll have a wonnerful dayby Valentine's Day.

Speaker 9 (13:34):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
and Meno. In the morning.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
In Clarksville, you're on a flight alone. Someone wants to
switch seats with you. How much would you accept as
payment for the switch?

Speaker 10 (13:47):
So the hundred dollars sounds like a win just because
you're not with any friendlies, any family, not.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
A business trip.

Speaker 10 (13:55):
You're trading the seat and you're getting one hundred dollars
for it, So I think that's reasonable.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
I think also if you think about one hundred bucks,
it's like, hey, thanks for buying my lunch in the airport,
because that's how expensive it is.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Most definitely thank you for buying me lunch and a drink. Yes,
the drink.

Speaker 10 (14:10):
Itself might cost one hundred dollars at the airport, but
y yeah, I think one hundred.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Dollars is like reasonable, especially if that person posed it
and said I will give you one hundred dollars. You
didn't ask for it. They just said I will give
you one hundred dollars to switch with me. I'm going
to take the hundred bucks personally me too.

Speaker 10 (14:27):
I mean I don't have any family, I don't have
any friends.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
I'm there by myself.

Speaker 8 (14:30):
I mean it's a win win. They get their feet,
you get extra one hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
You're one hundred dollars richer that day. Thank you for
pulling it.

Speaker 10 (14:37):
Why, Thank you so much?

Speaker 4 (14:38):
You guys.

Speaker 10 (14:38):
Have a blest day and happy Valentine's Day you too, guy.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Okay, Cassie and Chapel Hill tell us your thoughts on this.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
Well, I was a business traveler and I have given
up first class states to the military.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Oh that's so sweet.

Speaker 8 (14:55):
I feel like that I've done that, just put thanking
them for their service.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
That is very well deserved and a very nice thing
to do.

Speaker 8 (15:03):
Yes, And if I see an older person, like one time,
I saw a man and he was in first class
and his mother was in the back and she kept
coming up and I said, why did you get her
a first class ticket? He said, because I don't want
to be bothered with her. So I went and gave
her my first class seat next to him, and the
stewardess was so happy. He gave me a bottle of wine. Wow,

(15:28):
he was being a jerk to his mother and he
was upset.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
That is hilarious because he deserved that, and you deserved
the great gift that you got for him. Such a
good person to that woman.

Speaker 8 (15:39):
Yes, and she was very happy. She was way in
the back, but that was okay, he deserved it.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
I just learned that my next flight, I hope that
Cassie is on so that she like just gives me
her first class seat.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Cassie, I think you are a great person. Thank you
so much for calling in, and we love that you're
listening to us because we need better people like you
out there.

Speaker 8 (16:02):
Yes, all right, thank you y'all. Have a good day.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Day.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
Thanks for being a part of our morning.

Speaker 1 (16:11):

Speaker 3 (16:27):

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Uh Captain America Brad you order?

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, you got the whole title correct?

Speaker 5 (16:58):
Good?

Speaker 9 (16:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:00):
All right? A point on the boarding.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
You know what, since it is Friday you were talking
about you hope the love.

Speaker 4 (17:11):

Speaker 3 (17:16):

on the board.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
That's all you needed. You have one topical trivia today.

Speaker 6 (17:25):

Speaker 3 (24:18):
The daily double tap on one O seven five the
River today is.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
A very special one. Kevin's been out all week.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
He's recovering from his thyroid surgery. He got his cancer removed.
He's doing great.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
Yeah, he's recovering fantastic.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
But he sent us a daily double tap while he's
been laid up in bed.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Bored as hell. Yeah, so we are going to play
it in his honor. This is a catchy song about
the thoughts behind a man shaving his face.

Speaker 7 (24:42):
Do you want to look younger and worse? I don't know.
Do you wanna look younger and worse?

Speaker 5 (24:49):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (24:50):
Do you wanna look younger and worse? Like lady? Do
you wanna look younger and worse? Kind of like six
and one half?

Speaker 11 (24:57):
Do you want to look and worse older? That's got
the hearse, youngtor. It's kind of a curse the former lanter.
But you have got to make this choice.

Speaker 6 (25:12):
That is such a bop.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Honestly, it's extremely catchy, even though the words are ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
It's so catchy, so catchy, and honestly it's.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
So true for a lot of people that like grow
a lot of facial hair. You literally look like a
completely different person when you shave it off completely.

Speaker 6 (25:28):
So I get it.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Yeah, I mean sure, I get it as much as
I can as someone who.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Doesn't have to shave their face.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Well, there's your daily double tap. We are gonna put
it up on our Instagram if you follow us. It
is at one of seven five The River on Instagram.

Speaker 9 (25:41):
