Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Well top of the morning too.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
Yeah, it's just after six o'clock on this beautiful Tuesday morning.
Nosanches today, But Kevin Mana does have those three things
you need to know.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
Thank you, Zach. Good to see you, buddy, Good morning.
Thank you for being here for some drama to report
this morning. I don't know if you're up on like
the supposed beef between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. Who
knows what's actually true, but according to you know, the
rumor mill, it has something to do with Blake's ongoing
legal battle over the movie It ends with us Taylor
was sort of dragged into it.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Again, you never really know what's true.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
But the latest this morning is that Travis Kelsey has
supposedly unfollowed.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Ryan Reynolds on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Oooh the team.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
It's Taylor's boyfriend and Blake's husband. I don't know why
anybody put this together realized that he's no longer following him.
But that's a trending story this morning, espeously where he
goes PSA. Now, the deadline to get your real ID
is coming quick. It's almost may. I mean it's gonna
be it's going to be May on Thursday. That's crazy.
So May seventh, that's the deadline, a week from tomorrow.

(01:00):
According to these new laws, if you don't have a
real ID by that point, you may be unable to
board domestic flights and access certain federal buildings. So better
safe than sorry, and of course look into this before
you go. But you need proof of US citizenship or
legal presence, a proof of your full Social Security number,
and two proofs of Tennessee residency to get your real ID.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Just take it all whatever you have.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Have Social Security allio TN dot gov for all the info.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
The deadline is eight days away. Zach just recently got his.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yes, Hallelulia, we made it.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Lastly here congratulations to somebody, an unnamed person in the
Murphysboro area. A powerball ticket sold at the publics on
Memorial Boulevard and it just made someone one hundred and
fifty thousand dollars richer.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh I found a new sugar daddy. There you go, Zach,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Okay, Yeah, they won the base prize of this thing,
which was fifty thousand dollars, but tripled it to one
hundred and fifty thousand dollars again the publics on Memorial
in Murphy's Borough.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
That's where the luck is, the public. I wouldn't doubt
it at all.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Good morning to Jamie.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
She's in her car right outside in Nashville. What's going on, Jamie?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Oh, yes, I got lucky this morning.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Oh lucky with what did you have? Lucky charms?

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Yeah, lucky I'm talking to you.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Oh oh wow, We're so lucky to talk to you.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah, we'll just go ahead and tell you right now.
You are the first caller of the day.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Awesome.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yeah, you're getting tickets to see the Nashville Sounds on
May eleventh. We love the Nashville Sounds. Always a party
out there.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Congrats to you. Hey, I have a question. Are you
a mom?

Speaker 7 (02:33):
I am a mom?

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Well, good news.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
The game is on Mother's Day, so you get to
celebrate on Mother's Day at the Nashville Sounds.

Speaker 7 (02:40):
That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah. You can go buy yourself a hot dog on
a beer for Mother's Day.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Sounds good, or have someone else buy it for you.

Speaker 8 (02:47):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I like the way you think, Kevin.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
How many kids do you have, Jamie?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I have four boys? Whoa girl? What what are the ages.

Speaker 7 (02:55):
Fifteen, fourteen, thirteen and ten.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Dang, there was a period of time where you were
really cranking them out there at this point. I mean,
I'm sure you always get that reaction when you say
you have four boys. People are like, whoa, that's a handful.
But at this point those ages are they helpful.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Around the house?

Speaker 7 (03:11):
They're amazing.

Speaker 6 (03:12):
Good.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, which one is your favorite?

Speaker 9 (03:15):
Ooh, you don't have to hit something.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
Thirteen year old?

Speaker 10 (03:19):
Year old?

Speaker 3 (03:20):
The thirteen year old is your favorite.

Speaker 7 (03:23):
We're not gonna go into the least favorite.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh, who's the least not to tell me?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Stay away from that.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Don't do it.

Speaker 10 (03:29):
Don't do it, Jamie, stay away from that.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Thank you for calling.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
We appreciate you waking up with us. And happy early
Mother's Day.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I have a good day you too.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
We're gonna put you on hold so we get all
your info. Okay, Cat believe she picked a favorite.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Kevin, which one is your favorite?

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Between Molly and Riley my kids neither, they're both equally.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
They both own half of my heart.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
That was so nice of you. Tell me the truth.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
I will off the year. We have more of those
sounds tickets tomorrow one O seven five of the.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
River, Ricky Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Seven to five the River.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
No Ricky Sanchez in here today, it's Kevin Mano with Zach.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
And now Zach is taking off. You leave tomorrow morning.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, tomorrow morning, bright and early.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
You're heading done to Mexico.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah, for a wedding.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
It's something that you've been looking forward to for a while.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
You've been tasked with a huge honor at this wedding.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
You could definitely call it an honor.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Would you say it's above performing the stair? You're not
performing the ceremony.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
I am not officiating the wedding. No, but I think
it's above that.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
You think it's even higher though, Yeah, all right, we're
gonna play Gracy Abrams if the song will actually play.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Nothing's working in here.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
We're gonna play Gracy Abrams at some point here she
is uh, And then we'll find out what Zach is
doing at this wedding in Mexico.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
One O seven five the River, Nicky Zach in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
All right, So Zach is off to Mexico tomorrow for
a wedding. It's one O seven to five the River.
You're not getting married. No, absolutely not. No, Okay, I'm
just a guess at the wedding. Okay, but you said
you've been tasked with an honor that is even higher
than performing the ceremon I am.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
So anxious about this. You have no idea.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
The bride has asked me to do her makeup for
the wedding. That is a big thing, And I am
so anxious because I'm like, what if it looks bad?
What if I mess it up? What if it's not
exactly how she wanted? Like, this is her big day,
this is her wedding. There's gonna be so many photos.
There's gonna be every single angle like video. She has
to look perfect, and now the pressure is on me.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
You'll probably have frame pictures from the same house for
the rest of their lives.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Okay, Kevin, keep adding to it.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
Have you ever done this before?

Speaker 11 (05:29):
No?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Hold on, not only just for a wedding, but like,
do you ever do people's makeup?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
No, she ask you.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
I I guess because whenever I do wear a makeup,
I do pride myself on it looking very beautiful and pretty. Yeah,
so I think she got the idea of like, whenever
I do wear makeup, I look stunning. So she was like, oh, Zach,
can just do it. I'm not going to pay for
a makeup artist.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
I like that humble brag there, but it makes sense,
makes sense to me that.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I am so anxious about.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Can you like ut out your skills?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I know this is coming up tomorrow, you're leaving tomorrow,
but you want to be my model? That is not
where I was going with this, But like, do you
have any other friends, any women with similar faces?

Speaker 7 (06:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Just you, Kevin, You're my only friend.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Did you bring your stuff?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah? I can go get it.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
No, we're not doing this. We're not doing this. But
I wish you the best of luck. And can you
post photos?

Speaker 8 (06:20):
Maybe?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Definitely?

Speaker 3 (06:22):
If you want to see like the before and after,
you can just follow my Instagram. It's just at Zach
Woodward and I'm going to try my best and post
good photos.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
I'm gonna try my best. It's probably not what you want.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I'm the best, post good photos.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Well, good luck, and I'm jealous.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
You're going to Mexico.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Man, that's so excited for a Cancun but not excited
for the makeup.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
No, you'll be great.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Three things you need to know?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Oh, well, good morning, and happy beautiful Tuesday to you know,
Ricky son Chest today. But we do have Kevin Manna
that has the three things you need to know.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Thank you, Zach, appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
A big international news story that we are all waking
up to this morning is the election up in Canada.
They were looking for a new prime minister and the
Liberal Party came out on top. That means Mark Carney
will stay on as the Prime minister. He was sworn
into that position I think last month after Justin Trudeau
stepped down, and yeah, he's staying in office. This election
has been getting a lot of attention on account of
the relationship between the US and Canada.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
With President Trump back in office.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
This prime minister has vowed to beat the US in
President Trump's trade war, so we can't expect tensions there
to ease anytime soon. If you've seen the Minecraft movie,
you probably know that there is one particular moment that
elicits some energy from the crowd. There's a chicken jockey
scene where audiences have been getting real rowdy.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
They just the hooton and holler and.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
That chicken what chicken jacket. It's like this little uh,
it's hard to explain it. That's a little zombie the Chicken.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
I saw it movie. This has sort of.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Become a trend online.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
People are filming all of the chaos inside the theater,
and now Warner Brothers they want to embrace it.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
They just announced quote.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Block party editions screenings of this movie, which will encourage
the audience to sing and talk along with film and
go crazy. The screenings are gonna happen this Friday at
select theaters. I saw one video online people actually brought
a real chicken into the theater.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
So no, it's no doubt that though it's getting out
of control.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Lastly the year, congratulations to Noko in East Nashville. They
just grabbed a spot on Open Tables list of the
top one hundred brunch restaurants in the entire country.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
I just went to Noko for the first time.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I'd say, you've been before. Is it good?

Speaker 5 (08:24):
A couple of weeks ago. I went for dinner. It
wasn't brunch. It was great.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I loved it.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
I just I haven't been for brunch. I know Ricky
loves it.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
We got this list factors and everything like the food,
the drinks, the ambiance.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
The reviews, all of it.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
And Noco is one of the best brunch spots in
the country according to Open Tables. So yeah, I would
love to get over there and check that out.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
I'm gonna make a reservation right now.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Support local, Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Yeah, I'm Kevin Mano.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Those are three things you need to know, and now
this guy has something else you need to know, a
fourth thing, a fact, Zach's Facts. Every morning around seven
to ten he teaches all of us something, something interesting.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Buckle up, Buttercup, it's a good one today, all right.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
It's right after Gigi Perez Other River one O seven
five the River Ricky Zach seven five the River. Ricky
Sanchez is out today. But Zach Woodward is here and
he has a fact.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
It's Zach's Fact.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I think this is my favorite fact of all time.
The word couch. It comes from like old French and
it means to lie down. Okay, yeah, so every time
you see a couch, just lay down.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Did you know the word bed is shaped like a bed.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Oh it is with the headboard and the footboard. Yeah.
We're doing a lot right now.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Two facts of the prize of one and there are
your facts, multiple of them.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Of the Day one o seven five The River, Ricky,
Zach and Meno in the Morning yesterday, and here, Ricky
and Zach were sort of commiserating over their shared hatred
of hiking, even though they both are in relationships with
people that love to hike.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Yeah, my boyfriend loves hiking.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
He's always like, let's go on hike. And I only
do it because I love him. I would never do
this on my own.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
That's how outdoors.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Yeah, and she does not like to hike because when
AJ hikes, he's hacking through the brush and stuff.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
He's climbing mound.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
He is, he is. So we got to talking.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
What is something that you despise but you do it
anyway for your significant other?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Hiking? Yes, we've dishes, we've established andre. There's got a
lot of examples.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
Six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
What is it for you something you don't like to do,
but you do it for your partner?

Speaker 1 (10:23):
One oh seven five The River, Hicky, Zach and Man
in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Things that you don't like to do but you do
for your significant other, like hiking.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
That's Zach's example.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah, it's awful.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Joey, good morning, Welcome to the river where you're calling from.

Speaker 9 (10:36):
I'm calling from Mount Juliet, Oh.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
That's where I grew up. Mount Juliet, Oh.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Night waved to Zach's old childhood home. While you're there, Joey,
what is it for you? What's an example for you?

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Something you don't like to do, but you do it
because your significant other is into it.

Speaker 9 (10:50):
Yeah, well, this one I'd be doing anyways, But it's
a lot longer with my significant other. We've been together
for five years, and my whole family, her whole family
is full of batters, and she takes about thirty forty
minutes longer every dinner we eat, So I'm sitting at
the dinner table for an extra forty minutes waiting for
her to finish.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
She's a slow eater.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
That would drive me absolutely insane.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
Yeah, it drives me crazy, for sure. I try to
start doing the dishes and stuff. Well, she's finishing up,
but I'm still usually done the dishes before she's done eating.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
I will say.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I mean, like, from a medical point of view, they
always say to take your time, chew your food, eat slowly,
So she's probably in the right here.

Speaker 9 (11:30):
You would think that, Yeah, you would think that, but
she jumps up like she's choking all the time. So
something's not right.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
Does she have a small little ostav? I guess what's
going on?

Speaker 4 (11:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (11:40):
I guess so, I guess so dumthing's up?

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Joey, are you gonna propose anytime soon?

Speaker 9 (11:46):
Actually?

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (11:47):
This year? Later this year? I am we uh just
picked out the ring. I'm putting the deposit on it
this Friday.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Oh how much money are you spending on it?

Speaker 9 (11:55):
About five grand on the ring. It's a custom sapphire
ring that she's getting.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
And then this is so exciting.

Speaker 6 (12:01):
Man.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
I wasn't sure that Zach's line of questioning was appropriate,
but you answered all the questions and this is great.

Speaker 10 (12:07):
She knows what's happening.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Well, you and your slow eater, I hope you have
a beautiful wedding.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Please invite us.

Speaker 10 (12:14):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 9 (12:15):
Well, do you guys have.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Agree with your day?

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Let us know if we can help with the proposalle
if you want to do something on the air or
something like we had come up to something cool.

Speaker 10 (12:22):
Okay, Okay, sounds good.

Speaker 9 (12:24):
I will thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Yeah, we'll think about it. Some of the slow eater.
All right, we're in a brainstorm. Thanks for calling, buddy.

Speaker 9 (12:30):
Thank you guys, have a good one.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the mo.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
President and Murphy's Borough. Do you have an example?

Speaker 7 (12:37):
So it's actually the other way around, Okay, good bye partners.
She is not a huge fan of kids and has
to work with kids a lot at work, and she
is just so good with my daughter and she takes
care of her and treats her well, just like she's
her own and I just I just want to appreciate
the fact that she she does that even though she

(12:59):
doesn't have to and doesn't really want kids ever.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Okay, so wait, what does she do for a job
that she's around kids all the time but hates them?

Speaker 7 (13:07):
She didn't say, Well, she doesn't hate them. You know
how kids can be.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
Yes, we do.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
She works for the library, so she works she has
to work with a lot of kids.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Okay, okay, and then yeah, you already had a kid
before you, guys met and you know, entered into this relationship.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
And she she's.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Embraced your child. And that's very sweet of you to
call about this and give her that acknowledgment.

Speaker 7 (13:28):
She's great.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Yeah, I was not expecting anybody to be sweet. But
thank you for calling Preston. I appreciate you.

Speaker 7 (13:33):
Thank you guys.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
All right, see you, Bud, bye friend.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Those Mere and Morris tickets are coming in about five minutes.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
You can win them with the game of the day.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Next on the River one o seven five the River, Ricky,

Speaker 5 (13:54):
We're good man. It's game time, baby. What is there
to complain about?

Speaker 2 (13:56):
You know, game time baby. You gotta say it just
like that.

Speaker 9 (14:00):
It's game time, baby.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Yeah, that was what I like to hear. Perfect, Josh.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Ricky's not here today.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
It's Kevin Manow and Zach hanging out with Josh. He
is going to play for these Maren Morris tickets again.
The name of the game is Double Trouble, So it's
trivia questions all about people or places or things with
the initials, you know, the same initial like Maren Morris
two ms.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
You get what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
I got it.

Speaker 10 (14:25):
I hope I can get it.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
You get two out of three of these right, and
the tickets are years. Your game starts right now. Josh
and Bowling Green. John Hamm starred as what Ad executive

Speaker 10 (14:40):

Good job, Don Draper.

Six Coca Cola. Yes, sir, I thought it was.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
It's so easy yesterday she wanted to take it so fast.
I tried to make it a little harder today and
apparently not hard enough.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Well, Josh is way smarter than both of us. Apparently,
I guess he is.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Congrats, you're going to see Maren Morris.

Speaker 7 (15:10):
Awesome, Thank you so much. I love Marion Moore.

Speaker 4 (15:13):

doing the Pinnacle in September and you'll be there.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
Thank you all man. I'm really gonna have to like

Speaker 3 (15:21):

I know, Peter Pan, Well, don't give away my answer.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Oh, good morning and happy Tuesday. It's right after eight o'clock.
No Ricky Sanchez today, but Kevin Manow does have those
three things you need to know.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
Thank you, Zach.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
This Thursday, Melissa Joan Hart will host Variety's first ever
Power of Women Nashville events. Cool, It's very cool. This
is Variety in partnership with Lifetime. The evening will honor
the inaugural Nashville honorees like Kelsey Ballerini, Cheryl Crow, Mickey Guiton,
and Reba McIntyre.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
All of them, Uh they not Mickey Guiden.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I got so excited. I love her, you girl.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
They're all gonna highlight a different charity of their choosing,
and then Variety will make a donation to those charities.
I really love everything about this. Noah kN Maren Morris,
and Hillary Scott will all be there to present. Dash
is gonna be there to perform. Should be cool again.
This is all happening Thursday night here in Nashville. Speaking
of women, let's go back to Katy Perry's spaceflight for
a second. I know it seemed like everyone sort of

(16:21):
attacked Katie over the whole thing, and now one of
those people is apologizing singer Lily Allen. She has a
podcast and in the latest episode, she said she was
sorry for Pilon and she blamed her own quote internalized
misogyny for doing it. She said, I would actually like
to apologize for.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
Being mean about Katy Perry last week.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
I've been thinking about it a lot and it was
just completely unnecessary.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
To pile on with her.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Okay, by the way, another Katie news she's out on
her own tour right now, but she just saw Lady
Gaga in Mexico City and she said it was magnificent
in that she was very proud of her old friend.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
I love lady women supporting women there.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
And lastly here I mentioned a concert announcement at the Pinnacle. Yesterday,
Shaboozy announced a brand new tour. It's the Great American
Road Show, his first headlining tour, which I love. And
of course yes he's going to come to Nashville. He's
gonna be at the Pinnacle, the brand new venue downtown
September twenty ninth, Shaboozy at the Pinnacle. Tickets go on
sale this Friday. I know Jonathan has some to give

(17:16):
away in the afternoons.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Right yeah, three twenty five for what's that sound?

Speaker 3 (17:19):
If you want free tickets, Jonathan can give them to you.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
Who win thos with Jonathan today right here on the river.
The Pinnacle is getting so many great shows. I still
haven't been. I'm not going to get in there, but
they're same. Their lineup is looking pretty.

Speaker 6 (17:30):
Solid one.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Rickey, Zach and men in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
One seven five the River.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Yesterday I told Ricky and Zach story about when I
was in high school. I worked at a restaurant in
the town I grew up in Highland, Indiana, and I
just washed dishes in the back.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
It was, you know, I didn't even know I worked there, really,
But then one day I had to quit.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
I was leaving that job, uh, and I had to
go talk to my manager, and I couldn't do it.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
I'm so bad at delivering bad news in any way.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Shape you cry, I cried, Kevin Mano. I will cried
from quitting a dishwasher.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
So I was shaking having the conversation.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
I was losing sleep knowing this conversation was coming, and
I was face to face with the woman and the
tears came.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Honestly, that makes a lot of sense about you, It's
who I am.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
Man.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Yeah, you're just like so gentle.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
So now we want to know the dramatic ways you
quit your job. Are you a crier like me? Or
are you walking out with you know, some fingers in
the air six, one, five, seven, three seven nine, one
oh seven. However, you quit doesn't have to be dramatic.
I just want to know how other folks are quitting jobs.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Please make Kevin feel better because.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
I cannot do it. Should get into some breakup story,
So I can't do that either. Oh my lord, how'd
you quit?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
We want to know?

Speaker 5 (18:39):
It's one oh seven.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Five the River, one oh seven five The River, Nicky.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Zach and Mano in the morning, Jessica in Nashville.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Welcome to one oh seven five the River. A moment ago,
I told a story about how I when I had
to quit a job in.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
High school, I cried, cry baby, Kevin.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
So now we want to know how other people have
quit jobs. What's your story?

Speaker 11 (18:58):
So?

Speaker 8 (19:00):
When I was a server, we had like an account
where we could log into Sara's schedules. I got locked
out of that account. I mean it weset well.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I walked in.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
It was like a busy.

Speaker 8 (19:10):
Sunday, everyone's running around. I find the one manager that's
on duty and he's like, no, no, no, I can't help
you right now. I can't do this. So I was like, okay,
and then I just left and never.

Speaker 11 (19:20):
Walked back in there.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Oh oh, so you just walked out and said and
I'm done here.

Speaker 11 (19:24):
Well, I'm locked out in my account.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
So what's the purchase?

Speaker 5 (19:27):
Had you already been thinking about leaving this job?

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (19:30):
Absolutely already had another job?

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (19:32):
Okay, gotcha? So you are ready? Yeah, okay, Well they
opened that door for you and you just walked through it.

Speaker 10 (19:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (19:37):
I mean it made it pretty easy.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
So yeah, all right, Jess for you, Thank you, and
no tears. It sounds like you didn't shed tears over
that one.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
No, thanks for Colin. Have a great day.

Speaker 11 (19:48):
Thank you too.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Jenna in Gallatin, Good morning. How did you quit?

Speaker 6 (19:53):
So?

Speaker 11 (19:53):
Back in college I worked for a very very popular
fried chicken fast food.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Restaurant, Zach Okay, okay.

Speaker 11 (20:03):
But so anyways, it was a bit of a toxic
work environment. So I was like, whatever I quit, I'm
going to make a statement. So I went to the
store and got a sympathy card and it said sorry
for your loss, and inside I wrote, it's me. I'm
leaving in two weeks.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
I love the drama of this, so sorry for that.
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Do you remember how this manager reacted?

Speaker 11 (20:33):
She kind of like chuckled a little bit, but I
can tell she wasn't like very amused.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
Yeah, that's good though, I've never heard of that though.
The sympathy card.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
That's impressive.

Speaker 11 (20:43):
Highly recommend it.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Alright, wait, did you work the entire two weeks afterward?

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Like?

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Was it so awkward?

Speaker 11 (20:49):
I did work for two weeks, and I just kind
of avoided eye contact.

Speaker 6 (20:56):
Ricky zachon Manno in the morning on the River.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Good morning Kenny in Springfield.

Speaker 10 (21:02):
Hey, good morning guys.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
Welcome to one oh seven five the River. Tell us
how you dramatically quit your job.

Speaker 10 (21:08):
Yeah, so let me tell you. I walked into work
and left post it notes all over the office say
and I quit, I'm out of this and walked out
and left.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
How many post it notes are we talking realistically?

Speaker 9 (21:24):
Uh?

Speaker 10 (21:24):
Yeah, I mean I left probably about seven totally toxic
work environment.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Man, Well, I hope you got another job paying a
whole lot more money.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
So you can rub it in their face.

Speaker 10 (21:35):
Absolutely. I mean I had what I had an interview
mind up before I walked out.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Okay, okay, an interview. It's still pretty risky.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I don't know the drama I am so here for
and if I ever quit, that is how I'm going.

Speaker 6 (21:45):
To do it.

Speaker 10 (21:47):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
And you said you have a job now.

Speaker 10 (21:49):
Yeah, yep, I sure do.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Okay, good it all worked out for.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Kenny again, this is more inspiration for me to do that.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Why are you?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
You have a great job you do?

Speaker 2 (21:57):
What are you if? I love my job, I don't
want to quit, but I just love the drama.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Thanks for calling, buddy, I appreciate it.

Speaker 10 (22:03):
Thanks guys, and make sure everybody's got to be treated
well at work. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Amen and Amen Will said, thank you, Kenny. Have a
good day, buddy.

Speaker 10 (22:11):
Thanks guys.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
And by the way, this.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Whole thing started because I said I cried in high
school when I quit a job at a restaurant.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
Zach has giving me a hard time for that.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Lo and behold, Zach, would you like to tell us
what happened when you quit Cracker Barrel back in the day.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
Okay, cry baby, Kevin, I also cried when I quit
Cracker barrel.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
It was my favorite job that I ever had. I
loved it so much and I felt awful leaving.

Speaker 5 (22:31):
What is wrong with this?

Speaker 2 (22:32):
We're crybabies.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
One O seven five the River, Thanky, Zach and Mano
in the morning every day.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
About this time on one oh seven five the River,
we placed some audio from a video one of us found.
Maybe something going viral, something catches our attention. It's the
daily double tapping today. It's a quick one, but it's
from Zach.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
I found it on TikTok last night and I immediately
was like, this is all of my group text with
all of my friends.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Yes, that sounds about right.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
I mean, I'm in your life and I can attest
that this is very za. Here we go Today's daily
double tap.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Just because my best friend and I are definitely not
qualified to give each other good advice doesn't mean we
don't do it anyway, because mutual delusion is still support.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, you gotta support your friends.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Honestly, it kind of just represents our radio That could
be our tagline for our radio show. Qualified to be
giving advice, but it's kind.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Of what we do every day, Right, You gotta support
your friends.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
We're gonna put the video up.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
The daily double tap always goes up on our Instagram
