Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Know, all right, the happiest of Fridays to you.
Speaker 3 (00:04):
We made it, Thank you for starting yours with us.
Ricky Sanchez is right here with those three things.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
This season of Stranger Things is the last season, so
the finale will be played in movie theaters. The two
hour episode is going to debut both on Netflix and
in hundreds of movie theaters. The idea is that this
is all going to be synchronized across US time zones
on New Year's even throughout New Year's Day, so that
everybody can kind of watch together. Stranger Things creators Matt
(00:30):
and Ross Stuffer said, quote, it's about experiencing it at
the same time with fans. So the whole idea here
is that you're all in this together, experiencing it at
the exact same time. It doesn't matter where you are
in the world when it happens, You're all doing it
at once. It's kind of cool to watch it in theaters,
especially since it is two hours it's movie length. Yeah,
(00:50):
so this is a cool little added thing that you
can do for your very last season of Stranger Things
if you love it that much. Like I said, it's
happening in hundreds of movie theaters, so you're gonna have
to check out your will go listings to see where
it's playing around here. Rooftop bar La Jackson is getting
some attention from USA today. The bar is number four
on their ten best list of hotel bars worth traveling for.
(01:13):
They always have the longest names for these lists. They
specifically mentioned the Espresso Martiniz, the Glitter Chicken, smash Burgers,
and the weekend DJ sets as reasons for making the list.
I've been to La Jackson so many times. It really
is a fun time. I need to like mentally prepare
though for it because there's so many people there every
time for the DJ sets, which I love. But you've
(01:34):
got to be in the mood, right, you got to
be like ready to go to experience it the way
that you want to. But it's a great rooftop bar.
If you've already been through that Halloween candy that you
bought early, you're not alone. A survey of two thousand
adults found that typically families eat through their Halloween candy
twice before Halloween. One in four people had to restock
(01:54):
three times or more before Halloween even happened. About a
third identify as early planners who stock up and decorate
around October first, which just gives you too much time.
You can't buy the candy that early in the game,
You're gonna eat it. I'm the kind of person where
like I can't buy candy or have any of those
things in my house. Otherwise it's gone, Yeah, if I
(02:15):
don't have it, I don't think about it.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I live with people that would be the same way.
My kids.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Just last night we were at the store and they
were begging me to buy Halloween candy. It's like, no,
we'll get it next week, and like, but Halloween's next Friday.
I was like, yeah, that's plenty of time. How long
does it take to buy candy.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
We have time.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
You also know every day from now through Halloween, you're
gonna get Can I have a piece of candy?
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Exactly?
Speaker 4 (02:36):
I'm er Cassanche's than Those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Well, they're at the age now where they no longer ask.
I just find the rappers in their bedrooms. That's where
we are.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
In the bedrooms too.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
They're like me, I love eating snacks in my.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Bed But then they just never destroy the evidence. They
just have rappers that like, if you're gonna sneak it,
throw it away.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
We gotta have a conversation. I gotta teach them how
to be sneak here.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
You need to more Dollywood passes, your last chance of
the week to get.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Them within.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
The River, Heniky Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Good morning, It's Ricky Zachamana in the morning on one
oh seven five the River. I am blown away by
the amount of people who want Dollywood tickets right now.
I think this is so fun. We got Brittany in Russellville,
Kentucky on the line. Good morning, Brittany, Good morning.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
How are you guys this morning.
Speaker 6 (03:20):
We're good.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
It's Friday. We're always good on Fridays.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
Brittany. What are you doing this weekend?
Speaker 5 (03:28):
Well, just enjoying town with my family.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
That's sweet.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I love What are your Halloween plans next weekend?
Speaker 5 (03:35):
And my kids are super excited to go trigger treating.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
I want to go trigger treating again. I feel like
I say this every year a surance.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
I tell my kids that I'm so disappointed that it's
not acceptable for me to dress up anymore.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
Oh no, you could still dress up. Brittany I think
it's the trigger treating though, that where people, you know,
draw the line. I'm going to be dressing up until
I'm like eighty seven, you know, like as long as
I'm around here, I'm gonna be dressing up every single Halloween.
Speaker 6 (04:01):
I don't blame me.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
That's a great.
Speaker 6 (04:02):
Idea, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Do you think you're gonna kick the bucket at eighty seven?
Speaker 4 (04:06):
It's so young, you know, I've done a lot of
things in my life.
Speaker 6 (04:09):
Kennon.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Yeah, I don't know just how long I'm gonna last.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
She makes it that way. Hey, Britty, you want to
go to Dollywood?
Speaker 5 (04:18):
I would love to take my kids.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yay, you are the first caller of the day. I
want to se it five the river. You're getting these
tickets to Dollywood.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Tickets that is what they are.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
Oh, that's like islands.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
Yeah, that is the best thing I've heard this morning.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
That is so sweet, Brittany. I think that you're doing
that because you just won, because that was not very good.
Thank you for hanging out with us this morning.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Love.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
We appreciate you so much. Hang on the line, Okay, yes, ma'am.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Thank you, Ricky. You're gonna you'll see ninety ninety.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Okay, this is the thing I will say. My family
members sleep for very long like my grandparents. I live
for a very long time. My grandpa is still kicking.
He's ninety oh healthy, so going strong. Yeah, So like
I think I'll make it to at least night.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
And people are living longer with advancements in medicine and health.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
You're gonna hit those triple digits.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
We'll see, We'll see.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
And just so you know, I know people are rabbing
for these tickets.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Jonathan has another chance more tickets this afternoon at three twenty.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Five The River, Niky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
That's got a full list of things for you to
do in Nashville this weekend. We're gonna run through it
right now on one O seven five the River.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Zach.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
What he got for us?
Speaker 7 (05:32):
Okay, So first and foremost, we've got Nashville Boo at the.
Speaker 6 (05:36):
Zoo is happening this weekend.
Speaker 7 (05:38):
So it's all week and long Friday through Sunday from
five to nine pm.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
At the Nashville Zoo.
Speaker 7 (05:43):
So you go, you get dressed up in your Halloween costume,
there's supposed to be a bunch of different new features,
spooky favorites and perfect for your entire family to enjoy.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
Doorall.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
Yeah, it's gonna be really cute. I have been looking
forward to this event for weeks.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Zach has not stopped talking of this.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
Panda Fest is this weekend in Nashville.
Speaker 7 (06:03):
So it's happening at fair Park, which is at twenty
three hundred Bransford Avenue and Pandafests. They're going to be
featuring eighty plus Asian food vendors, two hundred and fifty
Asian street foods merch vendors. So it's gonna be cultural
performances inflatables, experiential activities like everything about like Asian heritage
and all of their their food, their culture, everything like that.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
And there's gonna be inflatable pandas.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
That would be amazing and hard to pick a food
option when there's that many.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Options, you just get one of everything. That's a hard decision.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Two and fifty Why not ken be one of those
inflatable pandas when you leave?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
He knows Zach loves to buy one of everything and
just have a singular bite like a little nibble, just
a nibble of everything.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
So that is all week and long. It starts today
and it goes through Sunday. Also, I when I read this,
I was like, Ricky, you're gonna be really sad that
you're out of town because you're going to a wedding
this weekend. But tomorrow is the Hispanic Heritage for the
Natural Predators.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
I'm so mad about that, genuinely upset.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
So tomorrow night they're playing the La Kings at Bridgetown Arena.
It's Hispanic Heritage Night. The first five thousand fans will
receive a Hispanic Heritage Night poster to take home with Yeah,
and their.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Jerseys also look sick every year when they do these, Yeah,
they always look so sick. I always want one so bad.
They put them up for like auction. Oh, they always
look really really cool.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
Well, Kevin, you want to go in with me and
help buy one for her Christmas present?
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Maybe? Okay, we can think about that. We don't want
to commit right in front of her, like, let's have
this conversation, not when she's not around.
Speaker 6 (07:35):
Okay, fine, guys, I've got two more things for you.
Speaker 7 (07:38):
If you're a huge swifty they're calling this the Fall
Too Well a Swifty celebration. It is a brunch at
the Pool Club at Virgin Hotel. We love the Virgin
Hotel downtown and so it's at their rooftop. They have
like specialty bites and cocktails. It's a special Swifty brunch
on Sunday that's gonna have cozy fall inspired decre and everything.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
So it's a Fall Too Well Swifty celebration on Sunday.
And then lastly this one.
Speaker 7 (08:04):
It's called All Hallows East, which is Nashville's largest Halloween event.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
I want to go to this every year, and every
year I have something else here.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
I was getting married. Just tell them you're not gonna
make it to the wedding. Give me that important.
Speaker 7 (08:17):
So All Hallows East is tomorrow from two to ten pm.
It's in East Park, so you can expect costume contests,
activities like music, food, games, and this is actually really cool.
So anybody over the age of eighteen needs a ticket,
but any guests fifteen and under.
Speaker 6 (08:32):
Do not have to have a ticket. Yes cool, So
it's all ages are welcome. You can go and.
Speaker 7 (08:37):
It's like a whole day thing from two to ten
tomorrow at East Park at East Nashville.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
It's exciting and the weather's gonna feel like fall out there.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
I really do.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
This is my favorite time of the.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Year, like when this is the beginning of the whole
kickoff to the holiday season and there's so much going on.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
So thank you for that, Zach, appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Rundown as always, Buddy, Ricky, cancel your plans, canceled wedding
to go to so many fun things.
Speaker 6 (08:59):
Act again.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I'm completely serious when I say the top Dog Loss
song might be my new favorite song.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
I have a lot of thoughts and not enough time
right now, Kevin.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Just after seven o'clock on this Friday morning, Ricky Sanchez
has those three things.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Five sauce, five seconds of summer. They're coming back to
Nashville for their world tour, Everyone's a Star World Tour.
We'll start next March in the UK, but the guys
are going to make a stop here in Nashville on
June nineteenth of next year when they play Bridgetone Arena.
Their new album, Everyone's the Star is out next month,
so this is obviously coinciding with that. We're really pumped
about it. I cannot wait for them to be back.
(09:37):
Both the Jonas Brothers and Farrell are going to perform
at the World Series. World Series kicks off in Canada
today for the first time in thirty two years. The
Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers are going
to battle it out for the title this year. Game
one today will have a performance by Farrell. Game two
tomorrow we'll have the Jonas Brothers performance. Both are set
for eight pm Eastern, so seven pm are time. And
(10:01):
this one, Zach's very excited about. The Jimmy Johns pickle
Witch is back.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
God, I'm so happy.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Six versions of the sandwich, including a vegetarian option. On
top of the pickle witches. Zach, you gotta hear this part.
What they've also got the addition of pickle ranch yep,
and the Triple Pickle Meal.
Speaker 6 (10:25):
My mouth is salivating.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
So the Triple Pickle Meal is a value meal. It's
got a pickle witch, pickled Jimmy Chips, and pickle ranch
all in the meal. You can get your hands and
all the pickle goodness. Starting October twenty seventh for a
limited time.
Speaker 6 (10:39):
I'm going to be first in line on Monday.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Yeah, Zach has already literally penciled in a lunch for
him and I so that we can know that Pickle
witch he's ready. We're both so pumped about this.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Can I also applaud you, Ricky for making it through
that tongue twister of a story with all the triple
pickles and stuff.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
I was just thinking the same thing. I was like,
I don't know how I didn't trip up.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
That was impressive.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Thank you. I'm Rick Sanchez And those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Mister Pickle over here has a fact for us. Right
after Alex Warren, we were learning on this Friday morning,
it's time for Zack's facts.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Next on the River, Ricky is Zach and Meno in
the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
On I hope you're ready to learn.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Oh, it's Friday, so we should probably sing right Oh yeah, okay,
it's one O seven five the River and Zach got
Zach's got a back just for you.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
I can't tell if it's getting better.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Over that was the worst one maybe ever.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Well, we tried, Okay, well your factor the day. I
feel like it's kind of a duh.
Speaker 7 (11:32):
But did you guys know that the name fall originated
in England from the fall of the leaf.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
I mean I would I would assume that.
Speaker 7 (11:41):
I didn't know for like factual information. But there's your
fact of the day. It's called fall because the leaves fall.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
That Not only was our singing terrible, that was probably
your worst fact.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
I told you. It feels like a dug but it is.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Thank Zach, Ricky in mannow in the morning, it's the river.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning. Good morning,
thank you for starting your Friday with us. I admitted
something to my so called friends yesterday.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
And they jumped all over me. Here I can't be alone.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Does anybody else watch Netflix at one point five speed.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
So faster than the regular speed. There's there's options, you
can make it faster. He has to watch TV so
quickly that it makes my brain hurt.
Speaker 6 (12:29):
Do you at least have the captions on?
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Captions are on?
Speaker 4 (12:33):
You also said that you'll even do two times speed sometimes.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
No, no, no, I said, if it was an option,
I would do it. You wish it was an option?
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Oh my god, that's just certifiably insane because.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Sometimes I listen to podcasts or books on tape at
two times the speed, but Netflix only goes up to
one point five.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
How do you even comprehend what's happening?
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Does it?
Speaker 6 (12:48):
Ricky? Have you met the man?
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Shows are too slow? They're too slow. It takes too long.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Okay, let's see six one five, seven through seven, nine
one oh seven?
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Is this normal?
Speaker 4 (12:59):
Do you do this as well? Do you watch your
TV shows at a faster speed? Or is Kevin certifiably insane?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Whichever side you're on, we just want to know sane
or insane? Six one five, seven, three.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Seven nine, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
River, we currently are debating something in the studio because
we found out that our friend Kevin here is absolutely insane.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Watch it insane?
Speaker 4 (13:23):
He watches TV shows at a one point five speed,
so it's faster because he can't handle how slow TV
shows are. So we have our other friend Sandra on
the line right now. Sandra, is that normal or is
that insane? I didn't even know you could do that.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Oh yeah, down in the on mine, at least in
the lower left corner, there's an option to speed it up.
Does that sound like something you would be interested in?
Speaker 4 (13:46):
No, because I want to know what's going on.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
I want to hear every detail.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
You guys, I think you're you're not You're not picturing
this properly.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
It's really not hard to follow along.
Speaker 6 (13:58):
I'm right now.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
The fact that it goes faster is what really gets me.
So like, if you're watching it at a normal speed,
obviously sometimes you know things are a little slow, but
that's the way that they specifically, and I want it's art.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
You know, the director's a genius and a visionary blah
blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Come on, spin it out, spit it out.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
I didn't even know you could do that.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
You mean, it's so it's not like fast forwarding it.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
It's not fast basically fast forwarding.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
They're just talking faster.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Thinks it's faster essentially the same thing. It's not.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
It's the slow forward. It's in real time. It's just fast.
So if I were to say, Hi, Sandra, how are you?
Speaker 3 (14:39):
If I was watching it faster, it would be Hi, Sandra,
how are you?
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Oh? I think that'd be fun Yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I wonder over she's on my side.
Speaker 6 (14:47):
I feel like, no, I think it's funny. Be like
when people breathe in helium and they get.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Sandra, think you this morning? We appreciate you, helve you. Guys.
Speaker 6 (15:03):
I love you so much, but you really hurt my
brain sometimes.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Those Stranger Things episodes you're gonna be on Netflix soon.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
They're like two hours long. No, no, they're not. They're
gonna be an hour and a half. In my house.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
You are the most impatient human I have ever met
in my life. Have you talked to somebody about that? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:19):
I don't have time for that.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Our friend Kevin here does something that both Zach and
I feel is a little insane. He watches TV shows
at one point five speeds, so he's he makes it
faster than it needs to be. It's one of seven
five of the river. We've got Katie on the line. Katie,
do you think that's normal? Is this something that you do?
Or is this insane?
Speaker 5 (15:43):
I'm pretty sure it's insane.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Kevin?
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Why do they give you the option?
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Netflix wouldn't give us the option if a lot of
people were not out there doing it.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
I have no clue. Do you know how many times
I have to tell my husband, wait, you need stop
and rewind that I missed it. So many things that
I missed just at regular speed. So what the heck
you're missing? So many like little details.
Speaker 6 (16:09):
How is it not the same thing as fast forwarding.
Speaker 7 (16:11):
Maybe it's not meant to watch the entire thing at
one point five speed, but to fast forward a little bit.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Because it's so sod it's such a subtle increase. What
I'm hearing you guys saying, is that I'm just like
I'm built different.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I can I can absorb more.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
No, we're saying, you're not absorbing like.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
My brain is just faster like I have.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
Your brain is not faster.
Speaker 5 (16:33):
It's like you're getting the clip notes of the story. Yes,
I feel like you're going to miss so many details.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
I mean, that's really all that Kevin Ever really wants. Yeah,
spit it out.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
I don't need the whole. Can you imagine reading an
entire email?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Skim it?
Speaker 2 (16:47):
You skim it for the highlights.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
This is wild. The way that your brain works is
I wanted to say fascinating. Originally it's not fascinating. It's wild.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
We caught some of that. But thank you for calling.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
We appreciate you absolutely.
Speaker 6 (17:02):
Good luck, love, good luck.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
Also, just because something is an option doesn't mean that
you should use it. Like I have the option to
wear low rise jeans that doesn't mean I should wear them?
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Why not?
Speaker 7 (17:14):
I have the option to do drugs, but I don't, Kevin,
just because it's.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
An option, does it mean it's gonna be something that
should be used.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
I want you guys to do those too. I think
should be a lot more fun, a lot more fun
around here.
Speaker 6 (17:29):
I gotta go home.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
With you anymore.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
We're playing the game today for tickets to see Laney
the band next on the River.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
We're about to play Kevin Manno's game of the day.
What's it from Halloween edition is what we're playing on
one oh seven five the River for tickets to see
the band Laney at the Pinnacle on April eighteenth.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
It's been a different audio clue, Halloween themed audio clue
all week long.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
We're about to play it for you. If you know
what it's from, you call a six one five seven,
three seven nine one oh seven. Here we go today's
audio clue.
Speaker 6 (18:04):

Edition all week long. I've loved this game because I
love Halloween. We're playing for tickets to see Laney the
Band at the Pinnacle on April eighteenth, and we've.

Oh, just hanging out with the kids and stealing their candy, stealing.
Speaker 2 (18:57):

Speaker 6 (19:01):

Speaker 4 (19:21):
We call it Bob Bee, but believe it's Yeah. What
do you call it?
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Bob and Big Beigs?
Speaker 6 (19:33):
That's cute?
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Is it a reference to something from the show? Or
is that just a little nickname you guys came up with.
Speaker 6 (19:38):
No, No, we just it's just a shortened version cute.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
I love that show so much, so once he played it,
I immediately knew what it was. I was like, Bob Burgers.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Congrats, Matt, You're going to see Laney April eighteen.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
They're gonna be at the Pinnacle. Nice work. Three things
you need to know just past eight o'clock here on
this Friday morning, Happy Friday. Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Actor Jeremy Allen White has announced that, at the age
of thirty four, he is officially graduated high school. He's
currently on his press tour for the Bruce Springsteen movie
he stars in, Deliver Me from Nowhere that's out today.
While on Live with Kelly and Mark yesterday, he admitted
that he was never really a great student. He struggled
to pay attention and would often leave school. But last month,
(20:21):
Jeremy's drama teacher brought him his diploma to the New
York Film Festival premiere on September twenty eighth. It was unexpected,
and he's very happy to have his diploma.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Now.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
I love that he's talking about this because I think
school is so important. But I also think it's really
important to remember that if school's tough for you, that
you could be very successful at anything that you put
your mind to. Jeremy Allen White is a very successful guy,
so I love that he's talking about this and kind
of getting rid of that stigma or that idea that
you can't graduate from high school. Even if you're thirty four,
you're fifty four, whatever age it is, you could still
(20:52):
graduate from high school. A list of the worst candy
you can give trick or treaters is out, So I'm
going to help you out here and tell you some
ideas that you should avoid if you don't want the
kids to hate you. Okay, on this list, circus peanuts,
good and plenty raisins.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (21:09):
I used to hate love the.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Raisin as a kid, though the houses that would give
you raisins no neco wafers. I agree, garbage, candy corn
is on here. What I know? I love candy corn,
and even Smarties made the list. Kids don't want Smarties?
What crazy? So those are the ones that you should
avoid this year in order to be the house that
(21:32):
everybody likes and Nashville Volunteer Week starts this Saturday, October
twenty fifth. The kickoff celebration is at Centennial Park from
ten am to noon, where you can connect with a
bunch of different local nonprofits in person and learn about
ways that you can get involved. This is really amazing
and really important. You can sign up for a project
for a chance to win prizes like passes to cheek Wood,
(21:53):
gift cards to Mlrose or Velvet Taco and a bunch
more So, not only are you giving back to the
community and helping out these nonprofits, but you have a
chance to win some free stuff. I mean that sounds
pretty ideal. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Ricky, Zach and Menno. In the morning on one seven
five the River Solways called.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Back to Friends. It's somber. It's one oh seven to
five the River and it's time for the leftovers.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
We all get thirty seconds to share a story that
we wanted to get on the air this week, and like.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Always, as always, we will start with Ricky Sanchez.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
All Right, you guys are ready to hear about this
wild trend that's taking over cruises.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
I'm ready.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
So travelers are rocking seventies themed outfits to channel Missus
Roper for Three's company. Okay, and then gathering of what
they're calling Roper rops. It's a full It's a full
party where everybody's dressed in seventies themed stuff. There's a
(22:50):
whole ninety thousand member Facebook group where they organize these
rops to happen at almost every ship across multiple cruise lines.
It's a thing, and it's apparently been a thing for
a very long time, but now it's like taking over
social media.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Yo.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
I just saw a bunch of photos and it looks
so fun.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
It makes me actually want to go on a cruise.
I've never wanted to go on a cruise before, but
now I want to just so I can go to
one of these rocks.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Wow, is that crazy? Who knew?
Speaker 6 (23:15):
I want?
Speaker 2 (23:16):
That's a lot of members on it Facebook. All right, Zach,
your thirty seconds begins now.
Speaker 7 (23:21):
Okay, So there's this new Reddit thread that I saw
with over five thousand comments on it, trends people wish
would just die already. So a couple of them on
the list is the blind Box mystery box toys for kids.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
Now, I love it.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
They're like, it's basically gambling for kids whatever, so they
want that to die.
Speaker 6 (23:39):
Also, people saying cooked meaning done. Oh, like I'm cooked.
I never said it, Well, Kevin, you're not.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Maybe if I start saying it, it'll die.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
You're going to be cooked if you say it?
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Six seven?
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Eh, Okay, I have two more on the trends that
I wish would die six seven.
Speaker 7 (23:57):
One of them is la Boo boos, and the last
one is people are tired of saying of hearing people
say I was today years old when I found this.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't like that either.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Well you're old, Kevin, so whatever. I don't know why
that made me so offended.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
If that coach, Okay, my thirty seconds starts right now.
I wanted to see how that, like Amazon Internet outage,
affected people, whether it be in their personal life or
at home or something like the whole Internet was affected
for a day this week, and I read all these
weird stories about how like people with like automatic beds,
the beds all got like stuck in the upright position.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
I was messing with like tests at school. It was banking,
It was all this stuff.
Speaker 6 (24:37):
For me.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I lost my one hundred and seventy four day wordle streak.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
And that is the saddest thing that has ever happened
to me. I was so proud, so proud of this.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
No I know, Ricky's had.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
To hear it, but I play every single day, and
that day it's just there was like a bug in
the thing.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
So the next day when I opened it up, it
was back at one.
Speaker 7 (24:58):
I it was like fixed halfway through the day, so
you could have just played it later.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
Well, I played it in the morning without knowing that,
and it just it messed me up the whole thing.
I don't know how, but I'm back to back to
single digits now in such.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
A weird mood. All week. Your wordal streak is over.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
He has literally talked about this four times, right, He's
very upset about it. And the first time I understood
the first time I gave it to you, keV. I
was like, you know what, that is really annoying. I'd
be pissed too. You gotta it's time to move on.
You gotta move past this.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
We're gonna do it. That concludes the Leftovers of.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
The River Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
You need a little bit of a smile this morning,
this Friday morning. Our daily double tap that we're gonna
play you is just so cute. It's one of seven
five of the river. It's a little boy and the
way that he is so convinced that his real name
is his actual like his nickname is his real name.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
He's so cute.
Speaker 6 (25:55):
I just want to like squeeze his little cheeks. He's
so sweet, smush them.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
And it's the cutest nickname possible for this little guy.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Here we go Toda's daily double tap.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
What's your name?
Speaker 6 (26:06):
God name is not?
Speaker 4 (26:07):
Your name is smir? What's your name?
Speaker 1 (26:12):
No? Meir?
Speaker 4 (26:14):
No?
Speaker 6 (26:17):
No, say some here.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
We're going with pork chop? Given what sorry?
Speaker 1 (26:25):

Speaker 4 (26:25):
That baby's name is pork chop forever now.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
We've been watching it home at night.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
So many videos of like when my kids were little
lately and I think I have baby fever again.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Oh my god, Kevin gets this every like.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
I really do.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Ricky, Zach and Menow in the morning
