Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
All right, here we go start in this brand new
week together. Thank you for being here. Hey it's November, man,
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Let's get okay, settle down.
Speaker 4 (00:11):
Ricky Sanchezez was three things.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Heidi Kloom's Halloween costume that she did this year. You know,
she's the Queen of Halloween. It took her four months
of planning and it cost an insane amount of money. So,
like I said, she's known as being the Queen of Halloween.
She goes all out every year and she tries to
outdo her looks year after year. This year she showed
up to the red carpet of her party as Medusa.
The costume took four months of planning, nine hours of
(00:36):
makeup for the hand painted costume to come together, and
it costs over five hundred thousand dollars to do. And
she wasn't the only one in on this, so her
husband also was part of the Medusa costume. He was
a petrified person, essentially like a person turned to stone,
because that's what Medusa does. She had a head piece
where each individual snake actually moved.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
That was my favorite part. I thought that was the
coolest part.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
It truly, truly goes all out and it was very
very cool. I want to be Heidi Klum when I
grow up because I love Halloween and I just think
it's so cool what she does every year. I'm going
to post the look to our Instagram stories at one
O seven five the River. You could check it out there.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is going to stay open
through New Year. Some key areas of the Great Smoky
(01:21):
Mountain National Park is going to stay open until early
twenty twenty six during the federal government shutdown. Obviously, that's
been a big issue when it comes to national parks.
It was previously announced that there was going to be
a plan in place to keep the park open through
November two. Now they're extending that agreement through January fourth. Unfortunately,
this does mean that a lot of people are going
(01:42):
to be furloughed in order to divert their resources to
key spots that they need, and it also means that
it will not operate at full capacity, but there will
be parts of the National park still open and daylight
saving time officially ended yesterday. Here are some tips to
feel normal again, quote unquote normal. You got an extra
(02:03):
hour of sleep because we fall back an hour, but
you still probably feel out of it because no matter what,
it still messes you up. Experts say it could take
a week for you to finally feel adjusted. They recommend
that you stick to your daily schedule. You avoid taking naps,
not gonna happen for me. And they said to get
outside and get some sunlight during the day to kind
of tell your internal clock, hey, it's daytime. And they
(02:26):
say not to drink any caffeine in the afternoon slash evenings. Also,
no doom scrolling before bed.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I think promise any of those things.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I know it's hard to stick to any of them,
but that's what they recommend in order to, you know,
get back to feeling normal again faster. I'm Ricky Sanchez
than those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (02:43):

call of the day. Very cool tickets all week. It's

it all.
Speaker 3 (03:22):

my Halloween costume every day, but it was like leading
up to Halloween every day.

Good morning.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
How was your weekend? Carrie? Your Halloween weekend? What'd you do?
Speaker 5 (04:35):
It was fantastic, just sit a little stopping and treating.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Oh good, so you had a good weekend. You actually
celebrated Halloween. Are you ready for the next two holidays?
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Ye? Kind of.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
It races by before you know.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I know. The next two are rough too, because it's
all the food preparing. They are it's all the preparing
the food for Thanksgiving is a lot of work. I
and that as I became an adult and started doing
it myself. I shout out to all the moms or
the dads or whoever it is in your family that
prepares Thanksgiving dinner, because that is a lot of work.
Like that is love and attention and.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Care makes a special person that's not me.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
And then it's Christmas, so then it's getting all the
gifts for everybody and decorating the house and making sure
that you're at all the Christmas parties and you're ready
for It's just a lot.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
It's the most wonderful time of the year.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Carrie. I think you understand what I'm saying, though, right
I do?
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Are you the one that prepares Thanksgiving dinner?
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Actually my stepdad does?
Speaker 6 (05:33):
There?
Speaker 1 (05:34):
You go?
Speaker 4 (05:34):
You got one?
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yes, lucky you. I like I miss that.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
We kind of help them a little bit, but you know.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
The person doesn't even want help. Did just like get
out of the kitchen. I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, well, Carrie, like we talked about, you got a
busy next two months. And even though it's not Christmas,
this is like an early gift. You're the first Caller
of the Day on one O seven five of the River.
So you're getting tickets to Railbird Festival.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
That's so awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
The lineup is really solid. Alumineer as Tyler Shoulders are headlining.
It's a two day thing in Lexington. It's gonna be great.
Congratulations and thank you so much for starting your.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Day with us.
Speaker 7 (06:08):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
You guys have a great day too.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning on.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
So we all know that Heidi Klum is the Queen
of Halloween, but I like to think of myself as
the Princess of Halloween.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
I would give you that title.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
And every year I do one specific costume. This year
it grabbed the attention of the person that I needed
it to grab the attention of.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
I mean, how cool.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
I'm beaming with pride. Noticed it.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
We're gonna play a song and then we'll tell you
what Ricky's costume was if you missed it, and who noticed,
gave credit, gave props.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
It's the best. We're gonna tell you next.
Speaker 7 (06:43):
On the River, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning on.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Ricky is the Princess of Halloween. We established that.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Unfortunately you didn't really get the full Halloween experience this
weekend because you were not feeling to.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah, I didn't get really get to celebrate Halloween on Halloween,
which is a big bummer this year. But I did
get something that's like almost as good. Actually, I think better,
if I'm being honest. Every year I do a Halloween
costume for Halloween, but I do one that's just like
for me and for social media, and it involves ghost
(07:18):
Face from Scream because Scream is my favorite horror franchise.
My favorite horror film is Scream, the first one. I
love it so much that I always take ghost Face
and I mash it up with a pop culture reference.
This all started like a few years ago with Barbie.
So I did like a bedazzled mask and a be
dazzled knife to be ghost Face Barbie, and.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
I dazzled your own knife.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
By the way, they sell those now and you spend hours.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
And I think they took the idea from me, because
they do the dazzled mask and the knife now, and
I'm like, you stole that from me. I was the
first one to do that. It took me so long
to do, but I did Barbie, and then last year,
ghost Face went brat because I did Charlie XCX ghost Face,
and this year it took me a while to figure
out what I was gonna do, but I finally decided
(08:03):
I was gonna do ghost Face. Mister Milchick from Severance
love it.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
We love Severance over here, and such a good show.
Mister Milchick is the best. And that's a great idea,
a great costume.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
It's such a great show, and honestly, like, if you
haven't watched it, highly recommend that you go check it
out at some point because it's worth the watch. But
I wanted to mash the two up, and I think
I did a really good job. I pretty much nailed
mister milcheck. And I have now had that confirmed to
me because Tremel Tillman, who plays mister Milchick in Severance,
(08:39):
saw it and reposted it to his stories, and I'm
so excited about it. It made my weekend. I felt
horrible all weekend because I was sick. I was beaming
with pride when this happened.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
I was like, no way, and he gave you. He
gave you a ten out of ten.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
He said, cheer ten out of ten. And if you
watch severance. You understand the cheer reference.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Oh man, so good, that's what you hope for.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
And again, that's so excited about it still to this day.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
That sort of reverses the negativity of you being laid
out in bed all weekend exactly exactly.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
And it's just this is a fun, silly thing that
I just do every year. I don't expect anyone to
like really understand it or anything like that, but I
was really excited that he actually saw it.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
It's so cool. Congratulations, thank you, thank you, thank you.
And I will say it's a great costume.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
But we're still hung up on the fact that a
couple of weeks ago we heard from somebody. Somebody called
us and told us they were going his post face
I post malonees tattoos all over their ghost face mass
Oh good.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
It's such a great idea.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
So I'm so mad that I didn't think of that one.
But if you want to see my ghost face, mister milchick,
you can at I was going to say one of
seven five the river. I'll post it there, but that
chick Ricky too, URICKI. It's on my actual Instagram, but
I'll repost it.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
And nailed it and you got the h the attention
of Milchick himself.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Three things you need to.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Know Jeff past seven o'clock here on this Monday morning.
Thank you so much for starting this brand new week
with us. Ricky's got those.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Three Metro National schools have launched a start and end
time study. So the initiative takes months of public engagement
and research together insights from families, students, educators, community stakeholders,
everybody involved in Nashville Davidson County. When it comes to
the schools, they're looking to start school later, as it's
said to help kids with their ability to learn. So
(10:21):
if the changes are approved, they could take effect during
the twenty twenty six twenty twenty seven school year, according
to a district spokesperson. So we will keep you updated
on how that goes. This is going to take some time, obviously,
they're going to take their time to study this and
to find out if this is the best case scenario. Also,
when they say start later, they could start later by
ten minutes. It could be twenty minutes, it could be
(10:42):
an hour. We're not really sure just yet. That's why
this study is in place. So we will keep you
posted on how that goes. I hate to say this.
You're all going to be really excited about it, but
I'm not. Mariah Carey has officially thawed and declared it
to be Christmas season every Christmas. I don't agree with her.
It's too early for this. Global warming is clearly getting
(11:03):
really bad, as she's already fawn by November first. But like,
I know, all of you are really excited for Christmas.
She did post the yearly social media post of her
singing It's time. This year she had help with the elf.
Billy Eichner Billiker was dressed up as an elf. If
you haven't seen it, I will post it to our
(11:23):
Instagram stories at one of seven five the River, where
you can watch it and all celebrate the fact that
it's Christmas season. It's just the.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Holiday season, you know, it's it.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
It means time off from Mark Yeah, I know, it's
just these two months are all about just like it should.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Be, one month winding down. It should be.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
It's one month of Halloween, one month of Thanksgiving, and
then one month of Christmas. And well, apparently Mariah Carrey
is I'm not Liquid Death and mister Bees have teamed
up for Peanut butter cups, sparkling water. Uh so mister
Bees's candy brand Feastables, it's peanut butter and chocolate and
(11:58):
liquid Death is known for doing really crazy flavor I
guess you could call them like experiments.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Yeah, we had the fruity Pebbles one and it was interesting.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
So this combination kind of makes sense. This is kind
of like both of their things. The flavor is expected
to drop next fall and it's going to come in
twelve ounce can sold in six ounce or six packs.
Details about the final packaging, where you can find them,
when exactly they're going to be released have not been
revealed yet. This is just kind of the first, the
first rumors that are starting about it, so I'll keep
(12:27):
you posting on that as well. I'm Ricky Sanchez and
those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Thank you so much, Ricky, and Merry Christmas to you
as well.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Chris Alex Warren signed for zax Fax right after.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
The song Zach's Not Here. I've got a good one.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning on Friend.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Zach is out today. He is getting his second hip surgery,
so wish him well if you get a Chance on
his Instagram, but Kevin's filling in for zas Fax. I'll
want to seven five of the River.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
The Dodgers won the World Series over they did, indeed
quite a game. That makes the sixth consecutive World Series
that a Will Smith has won the World Series.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Sixth the year in a row.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
There's a Will Smith on the Dodgers currently they've won
three of the last six. But then there's a different
Will Smith who's a relief pitcher and he's bounced around
from team to team. So he won with the Atlanta Braves,
the Houston Astros, and the Texas Rangers three consecutive years.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
So within the.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Last six years, all six World Series somebody named Will
Smith has won.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
That's kind of crazy.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Actually, yeah, Andy found time to slap Chris Rock at
the Oscars.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Oh my god, it's a different Will Smith.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
But there you go. It's your back of the day.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Thanks Govin, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
On one trick or treating was successful for my family,
but we did not get a potato and I'm kind
of jealous.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
So that's the whole start of what we're about to
ask you. If you've ever gotten something other than candy
while trigger treating? Because potatoes are the new thing that
people are handing out instead of candy and kids are
loving it.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah, it's like they'll they'll leave like a bowl of
candy or a bowl of potatoes and say take one,
and most people choose the potatoes.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Most kids want potatoes instead of candy. And I kind
of respect that potatoes could be used in so many
different ways. They are the best food item that you
could ever buy. I'm gonna get on a potato ramp.
But besides potatoes, is there anything other than candy that
you've gotten while trigger treating? Six one five, seven, three seven,
nine one oh seven. Maybe you've handed something out instead.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Of candy, something unusual.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, let's hear about it, kids, grown ups, let's go
six one five, seven, three seven nine one seven ers
new tailor.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
On the River, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
on the river.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Have you ever gotten something other than candy while trigger treating?
That's what we're talking about on one oh seven five
the river. Right now, we got our friend Halle and
Mountain Juliet on the line. Good morning, Hallie, Hi, what
did you get while trigger treating. That wasn't candy.
Speaker 6 (14:50):
One time we went to a treating and we got
a ram and needles.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
I love that. Were you excited about that or did
you want I was excited about it.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Do you remember? Do you remember what flavor it was?
Speaker 3 (15:05):
I think chickens a classic classic? I like it.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Well, thank you for calling and sharing that story with us.
That's very funny.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Have a great day, Hallie.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Y Ramen is huge right now with the Hunters as well.
I feel like it's having a moment, which totally makes sense.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Matt and Mount and Juliet, welcome to one of seven
five of the River. I'm assuming that you gave something
away other than candy. I can't.
Speaker 8 (15:32):
I can't take credit, but my wife got ramen noodle.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Oh my goodness, wait a second.
Speaker 8 (15:38):
At Like, at first I was laughing. I was like,
there's no way they want that. They were good, they were.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Gone, like, wait, so you guys were giving out the
ramen noodles.
Speaker 7 (15:47):
Man.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Though, we just had a caller, Hallie, who was also
a Mount Juliet, who said that she got Ramen noodles
for halloweens. So now I'm wondering if she went to
your had to well, I.
Speaker 8 (16:02):
Live in but but I mean my wife when she
brought him home, so this will pass it out. I
was like, there's no way.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
That's fantastic.
Speaker 8 (16:12):
I will tell you what next year we're stocking up.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
I'm gonna have Like, I love that idea. I think
it's fun.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
And it left Mark.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Obviously, Hallie called us to tell her about her experience.
So yeah, it's memorable for people.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Your wife is a genius man.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Thanks for calling, buddy. We appreciate that you have a
great Matt.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
We have time for one more. Let's talk to Monica
in Clarksville. Monica, good morning. What was it for you?
Speaker 9 (16:39):
We had someone in our town who handed out stuffed animal?
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Oh how cute? Also how extensive? Dang?
Speaker 9 (16:47):
I mean you would think, but like it was a
small town, like population three thousands sold, Like there weren't
that many kids going around trick or.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Treating, and maybe you'd buy in the bulk, you know,
some sort of wholesale price or something.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Yeah, it's not a bad idea, idea.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
I think if you could do it, why not, right,
why not do something other than candy?
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Oh yeah, it stuck.
Speaker 9 (17:04):
With me, Like I got a black cat and a
witch's hat and I kept it years.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
These little outside the box, you know, things they're given away,
They're gonna stick with people. It's gonna mean more than
a little tiny Snicker's bar.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Really, I love it. Thank you for calling in Monica.
Speaker 9 (17:17):
We hope you have a great day.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Thank you too.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Six one five, seven, three seven nine, one o seven.
If you've ever gotten or given anything a little unusual
while trick or treat, do we want to hear.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
About one o seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach
and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Emily and Laverne, welcome to one oh seven five of
the River. Tell us the thing that you got that
wasn't candy while you were trigger treating a toothbrush.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
That's one.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
No, with all that candy, you need a toothbrush.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Yes, Emily, were you bummed about the toothbrush? I would
have been bummed about the toothbrush.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
A little bit.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yeah, that's not a good thing to give out, Kevin,
but it is such a dad.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
It is a good thing to give out.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
I mean, sure that that house will probably get egged
or something, but still it's a good thing to.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Have in that bag. With all that candy.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
He was gonna go home and brush her teeth anyway,
she has a toothbrush. You don't need to give kids toothbrushes.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
You need to balance it.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
No, Emily, that was a bad one. I'm sorry to
hear that. I hope you've got lots of candy this year,
though I didn't.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Okay, good brush your teeth.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
I have a great day, love, thank you for calling
in right bye bye.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
And just for all the kids listening right now on
their way to school, take it easy on your teachers today.
I know this is a big candy weekend and you're
gonna be a little cranky and crash and just try
to be nice.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Okay, that's a good p.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Robin and Shelbyville. What did you either get Walt trigger
treating or give out wal trigger treating? That wasn't candy.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
I took my granddaughter out this year and she received
a microwaves thing of macaroni and sees and a package.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
To Ramen More Ramen.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
This is a thing. This seems to be a thing
this year. I'm liking the switch up. I'm not gonna lie.
Was she excited about her or was she like I
want candy? What is this.
Speaker 6 (18:58):
She was very excited about the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
I mean I kind of think those people ran out
of candy and just went to the pantry at a
certain point.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I think that's great though, and especially if the kids
like it. Why not, right?
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Absolute, thanks for calling in, Robin. We will you have
a great day, you too.
Speaker 8 (19:14):
Love you, guys. I love you.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
By One of my favorite moments Ricky from Trigger treating
this weekend, my son Riley, who is seven years old.
Apparently I wasn't at the door with him, but another
parent told me that he was making requests like they
were handing out candy, and he said, do you have
any candy corn?
Speaker 7 (19:28):
By chance?
Speaker 2 (19:29):
And they like disappeared into their house and like, I
think so they came back with a little handful of
candy corn for him.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
That is hilarious.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
A guy who knows what he wants exactly. Hey, we
have Dollywood tickets. This is awesome. We're gonna throw these
in your little plastic pumpkin.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
I guess trick or treatings there. That was a stupid
thing to say, But if you want them, you can
win them. Next to the Game of the.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Day, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning On You're
about to.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Play Kevin Maanno's Game of the Day, presented by Genesis Diamonds.
A new game that we have never played before Heaven
is called Google Olympics.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yes, like combining the words Google and Olympics, because basically
that's what it is.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
We need two people on the line right now, going
head to head.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Whoever can google the answers to these questions the pass
us because they're gonna be sort of obscure questions. You're
not gonna know these, You're gonna have to search them.
So however we gonna do that. The fastest is getting
these Dollywood tickets.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
How many questions are they? Google it?
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Two out of three?
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Two out of three. Okay, we're going to head two
out of three, head to head. Dollywood tickets on the line.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Yeah, Google Olympics six one five, seven, three seven, nine,
one oh seven. Like Ricky said, we've never done this before.
Just a silly little idea, could be a train wreck.
We're gonna find out next Google Olympics first ever.
Speaker 8 (20:40):
On the River?
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Can we one?
Speaker 7 (20:43):
Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
It's one O seven five the River. We're about to
play Kevin Mano's Game of the Day, which this week
is Google Olympics. You're playing Google Olympics for Dollywood tickets.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
We have Nicole and Murphy's Borough on the line. Good morning, Nicole,
good morning, Thank you for being here. You're going up
against Jen and Franklin. Hi.
Speaker 7 (21:04):
Jen, Hi.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
The way this works, the Google Olympics, You guys need
to have some sort of search engine ready to go.
Maybe somebody in the car helping you out. But I'm
gonna ask you these questions, kind of difficult questions. You're
gonna have to google them. Whoever can produce an answer
first gets a point. You need to get two out
of three of them. And whenever we do these head
to head things, your name is going to be your buzzer. Okay,
So Nicole, if you know the answer, you just shout
(21:26):
out Nicole. That's how you buzz in. Jen, same for you.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Okay, got today.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
It's a lot of rules. I know. Here we go.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
I hope you're ready to get those fingers ready to google.
The Google Olympics starts right now today. November three is
Kendall Jenner's birthday. What year was she born?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Nicole?
Speaker 4 (21:48):
Nicole, we got a point?
Speaker 3 (21:51):
All right a point for Nicole.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Jen, how are you feeling there? We are you searching?
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Oh that was so fast.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
I'm very impressed.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
Ricky, how'd you do? I see your fingers going to
Oh yeah, I did it.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
But I also have a computer in front of me.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
It's totally different. All right, here we go, Nicole, you
get this, you win. The Dodgers won the World Series
over the weekend. They beat the Toronto Blue Jays. What
is the name of the blue Jays mascot?
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Dude?
Speaker 5 (22:23):
All right, come on, Jen, Jen, it is a yeah,
you do.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Nice job. You guys are tied now.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
Oh boy, it all comes down to this. This is
very exciting.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Oh the suspense. Every time that you guys are googling,
it's like, I can't I know.
Speaker 7 (22:44):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Whoever gets this wins. You're again.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
You're playing for tickets into Dollywood before rebranding? Is Dollywood
in nineteen eighty six? What was the name of the park?
It has had many names. I'm looking for the name
right before it became Dollywood.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Then, Jen, it.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Was silver dollars that he's gonna see.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
Yeah, okay, my kids are in the car and they
heard what we're getting and they're losing their mind.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
I love that. Nicole.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
I'm so sorry this didn't work out for you, but
we encourage you to call back and play again later
this week.
Speaker 6 (23:21):
That's okay. Congratulations jan Oh, I love this same.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
Yeah, thanks for being here, Nicole. He congratulate.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
That's Jen and the kids in the car. You're going
to Dollar Wood.
Speaker 6 (23:31):
Yeah, yeah, I love it.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
I love it. I love the excitement. Congratulations Jen. Hang
on the line. I gotta get input from you to
make sure you get these tickets. But I love that reaction.
That's like the best reality reactive guy. And that's a
good day to get it fool and when not for sure?
Speaker 6 (23:53):
For sure?
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Thanks for being here, hang on, Okay, okay, so good.
We've got more all week.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Jonathan has another chance at five five all week as well,
and Smoky Mountain Christmas is running now through January fourth.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
Get out to Dollywood.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Three things you need to know? All right, just.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Passed eight o'clock on this Monday morning. Ricky's got those
three things.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
The cast of season thirteen of American Horror Story has
been revealed. Ariana Grande is going to make an appearance,
and there's a lot of notable faves that everyone's freaking
out about.
Speaker 7 (24:22):
So.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Ariana Grande previously worked with the series creators on the
comedy series Scream Queens, which unfairly only lasted a season.
I loved that show. I think it deserved more than that.
But now she's gonna work with them again on this series,
which is, like Kevin said, huge. But she's not the
only one that fans are super pumped about. A bunch
of their faves are coming back, like Jessica Lang, She's
(24:43):
coming back, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates,
so many more, just like everybody that you can imagine
and have loved through American Horror Story are basically all
coming back for this. It's crazy. We don't know when
the season is going to be out just yet, we
don't know if they've even started, but I will keep
you posted on all of that as obviously the details
(25:05):
are made available for us. I'm pumped. This is gonna
be the first American Horror Stories season that I've watched
in years years. A local chapter of the nonprofit Mustaches
for Kids is recruiting people to participate in their annual
mustache growing fundraiser. So Mustaches for Kids Nashville is kicking
off their fundraiser by hosting their Clean Shave Event at
(25:26):
Tailgate HQ. It's gonna happen this Tuesday, so Tomorrow night
from six to eight pm, so everybody goes there. The
whole idea here is that you are clean shaved, you
grow your mustache out throughout the month of November, and
you raise money for two local charities. The clean Shave
event is that you can just go to Tailgate Brewing
HQ and you can get a nice shave by a barber,
(25:48):
like a legit nice shave to start off your month
of growing your mustache. But it's for two local charities.
This year's charity partners are Williamson County Court Appointed Special
Advocates and the Transformation Life Center obviously two very amazing causes.
So if you want to sign up, just search Mustaches
for Kids in Nashville and sign up on their website
(26:09):
and then go for the Clean Shave event tomorrow night
six to eight at Tailgate HQ. And Amazon has teamed
up with USPS to offer doorstep return pickups. This service
was quietly rolled out earlier in the summer. It allows
you to return things between one and fifteen pounds just
right at your home, like they'll just pick it up.
(26:29):
It's in select markets. But here's the catch. Amazon hasn't
shared which cities are included, so you just find out
essentially by trying to return something. So if you see
that there is an option for you to have it
picked up, that is real. It is a new thing.
It doesn't replace Amazon's usual return locations. It's just adding
another option. Hopefully it rolls out everywhere sometime soon. I'm
(26:53):
rick Sanchez and those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Thank you, Ricky. We've got a little surprise for you here.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
It was texting with our boss John Thing, just inspired
by a few comments you've made this morning, and now
that it's officially November, here we go.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
Mariah, I swear to God all I want for Christmas.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
We are the worst people ever for Ricky Sanchez.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Can oh on lot, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the
morning on this question is gonna sound weird to a
lot of people.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
A lot of people are probably gonna sound normal. It's
one O seven to five the river. Do you put
your pajamas under your pillow?
Speaker 3 (27:30):
We asked because I saw this TikTok. I spent a
lot of time in bed over the weekend trying to
rest or recover from a sickness, so I spent a
lot of time on TikTok, and I saw this TikTok
that suggests people put their pajamas under their pillow, Like
in the morning, they take their pajamas off, they put
their clothes on for the day, and they fold their
pajamas and put it under their pillow.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
Apparently a lot of people are doing this, and.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
That's insane to me.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
So we want to be doing that.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
We want to know if you do it, or if
you know some of the does at six one, five, seven, three,
seven nine o seven, Like I get it if you're
in prison, maybe I don't.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
I don't get it in any situation. It makes no
sense to me.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
Help us out here, what are we missing? Pajamas under
the pillow? Do you do it? Let us know?
Speaker 7 (28:11):
One river, Ricky Zach and Mannow in.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
The morning, it's one oh seven five the river that
laugh you here right, there's melody in Nashville. We asked Melody, Uh,
does anybody out there put their pajamas under their pillow
when they wake up so they're nice and handy for bedtime.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I guess, is this something you do?
Speaker 5 (28:30):
My husband does that?
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Why?
Speaker 5 (28:33):
I'm not really sure. I think it's just because it's
for convenience, and he's like, I'm just gonna wear the
same thing, so we'll just put it right here.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Does he fold it up?
Speaker 5 (28:40):
It's weird sort of but not really.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Like one of those like quote unquote folds where you
just like kind of pull your like everything together with
your two hands.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
Yeah, just roll it, roll it up.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Here's what I found when I when I saw this,
it says a lot of people put their pajamas under
their pillow, especially kids. It's a way to keep them
handy for bedtime so they don't get lost or mixed
up with other clothes. Some people just like the cozy
bedtime routine of pulling their pgs out from under their
pillow before getting ready for sleep.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
I don't get it. I don't get it.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
I don't either. I don't either.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Okay, So Melody usually it's strange too. Have you have
you like said to him, like, this is a weird
thing that you do.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
I think I said something once like it's been because
he's not He's not done it forever. We've been married
almost thirty years, and I've just noticed it, like in
the last year. A guess whoa And I think he
just said it's just it's just convenient.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
So why not interesting? I'm so fascinated. Uh huh, thank
you for calling you, Melody. I mean, and now we
know that there are actual people out there that do this.
I thought maybe TikTok was lying to me.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
It's interesting. Yeah, I mean, I don't do it.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
So what's your what's your husband's name? Let's just shout
him out real quick.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
His name is Kevin. And I'm dying because if he's
listening right now, he's gonna die. That actually calls it.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Yeah, from one Kevin to another. It's a weird dude,
Move right right.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Have a great Daybilodyka.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
I guess if anybody else wants to weigh in on
the pajama under the pillow thing, we'll take them six
one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
I hope Kevin was listening.
Speaker 7 (30:13):
One O seven five of the River Ricky, Zach and
Manow in the morning.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Kathy in Nashville, what do you do with your pajamas?
Do you put them under your pillow.
Speaker 9 (30:21):
Okay, I put them really close to under my pillow
and it's a little tm I but some people may
not wear pajamas today. Sure, sure, if there's an emergency
or something happens in the middle of the night, they're easy.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
To Yeah, okay, so quickly.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Okay, that makes sense. That is actually the most logical
explanation that I've heard.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
I mean, I would think maybe for that an emergency
situation like that, maybe a robe.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Do you do the robe?
Speaker 9 (30:49):
I don't usually, but you know, I do have my
pj's pretty close by because you never know in the
middle of.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
The night you need That's that makes sense, Kathy. I'm
actually not mad about that. I explanation.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
Little am I though, if you don't.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Know, it's perfect.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Hey people don't and that's okay. You're not alone in that.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
When you're here your family, you can talk about it.
I think we just stole that from Olive Garden. But
thank you for sharing.
Speaker 6 (31:15):
Okay, have a great day, love.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
But you know what I'm saying, Ricky, like, if there's
an emergency, you got to rush out of the house
of robe might be easier than putting the pants on.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Sure, sure, yeah, but you know your pajamas are easier
to kind of put under your pillow or close to
under your pillow because they're not as bulky.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Sure as a robe would be.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
So I understand the thought process there, Edith, do you
put your pajamas underneath your pillow?
Speaker 6 (31:40):
Absolutely since I was a little kid, and I love
it because it's tidy organized. Like where did you guys
put your pj s? I don't know who doesn't, so, like,
where do you put them? I know they're not dirty,
so you don't put it in the dirty clothes, they're
not clean, put it in my you are, So where
(32:01):
did you guys?
Speaker 3 (32:03):
So I actually have in my like closet, there's like
a tiny little bench and I put my pjs on
that little bench in my closet, so it's still like
in my clothes area, but not like in my hamper
or anything. And I know that they're still good to
be warm the next night.
Speaker 6 (32:20):
Even when I go to a hotel in vacation.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Okay, this does make a little more sense to us now,
so thank you, thank you for enlightening us.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Yeah, the tidy aspect makes.
Speaker 6 (32:29):
Sense the same, thank you for calling it.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
I have a great day, Fillo I get it. It
makes sense if you want to keep everything tidy, I understand.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
And the way she said, they're not clean, so you
don't want to put them some more clean but they're
not dirty, so you don't want to put them in
the hamper like it's It makes a little bit of sense.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
I'm starting to understand more and more with these explainations.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
Ricky is zach And in the morning.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
I love watching kids who trigger treat like on the
ring doorbell cameras when everybody posts them after Halloween. I
don't go trigger treating with anybody, so I love to
watch these. Today's dilly double tap on one of seven
five of the River is a kid doing that, just
being a kid trick or treating. It was caught on
the ring doorbell camera, and it reminded me of the
story that you had told earlier about your son Riley Kevin.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
He was at a particular house and they gave him candy,
and then he just he made a request. He said, yeah,
you have any candy corn by chance, and they disappeared
into their house for bit and brought him back to
a handful of loose candy corns.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
She's making requests out he's ordering food.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Kids are funny like that though they have no they
do not care, no qualms, just asking for what they want.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
And in this video, this girl is not super happy
about the candy she's given, but the homeowner finds it
very funny.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
Here we have candy.
Speaker 10 (33:46):
Give me one second, short question. Yeah, let me tell
you something. It was not my idea.
Speaker 9 (34:04):
It was not my idea.
Speaker 10 (34:06):
I mean, we got fruit jews.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
I mean they's still good.
Speaker 10 (34:13):
It's staple nice.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
She was like, why did you get tutsi rolls?
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Girls just slowly backing away from the house, just so funny,
so confused as to why.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
They're handing out tutty rolls. What's wrong with tutsi rolls?
Speaker 2 (34:29):
By the way, I like a Tutsi roll me too.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
I think tutty rolls are great. Like she said, they're
a staple. But I guess kids these days just don't understand.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
That's so funny.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
I love that the woman that was passing out the
candy found it as funny as she did.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Oh yeah, she all in good fun you know.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
Listen, this was not my idea, she agreed, not her
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Favorite Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning on the
river
