The UConn Football Pod: Finding hope in dark places

Despite the lopsided outcome in the Michigan game, UConn has reason to remain hopeful for better performances in the future. The Wolverines are one of the best teams in the country, and much more reasonable competition awaits later in the schedule. For now, the Huskies have to prepare for No. 12 NC State. While not on Michigan’s level, this is still a great team, and likely another game where UConn loses big. With Nate Carter’s shoulder injury, the offense is without its top player. The Wolfpack are at home, they have a deep, experienced defense and plenty of firepower on offense, too. That said, we’re still looking for Jim Mora’s squad to cut down on mistakes, and at least give themselves the best possible chance to win. This also includes opening up the offense a little, no matter who’s in at quarterback.
