Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome to the Chamber Connection on Talk Radio ten eighty,
a program designed for a small business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs,
and community members who are eager to learn more about
the intricacies of running a successful business, hosted by that
dedicated staff of the Chamber of Saint Matthews. Now here's
your host for this week, Amanda Harper, Director of Member Services.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Good morning, everybody. Welcome to the Chamber Connection. I am
Amanda Harper, and today I have a special guest with me.
Before I introduced the guest, I want to give a
little bit of a background if you listen to the show.
A few weeks ago, I was talking with pant Stallings.
She owns Salca Rita's Mexican Girl. She said that in
(00:50):
the next few weeks she was gonna have a big
game changer coming and that's where this comes in. Today
I have with me Cameron. He is with Game Day
Men's Health and partnering with Pam. Is that correct?
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Okay, so say hello Cameron.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
Hey, how you guys doing.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
So We're gonna get right into this now. Tell first off,
tell me a little bit about yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
Well, I'm a content creator, marketer, have worked with a lot
of health and fitness brands.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
So I really love what game Day does.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
Helping men feel their best is something that you know,
I prescribe to and when I found out about him,
I was.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Like, this is great, right, right? For sure?
Speaker 2 (01:32):
So what inspired the creation of game Day Men's Health?
Speaker 5 (01:38):
So it was originally founded by a guy named Evan Miller, Okay,
and a lot of their mission statement is behind helping
men feel their best.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
And they're very niche down so it's not just.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
It's for men and women, but all the hormone therapies
in the market and everything is geared towards men. It's
kind of a man cave environment extent, and that's I mean,
that's what they're here for. I mean a lot of
guys just don't realize that the normal they feel like
with having low tasosterone or you know, low growth hormone,
that's not normal. Just because you feel fine doesn't mean you're.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Okay, right, right?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
So what what sets game Day Men's Health apart from
all the other hormone.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
Clinics absolutely well, something that I've never encountered is a
free to sastrone test and prostate test.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
I mean a for identifying prostate cancer, because I think
they're the number one in the US for that, which
is amazing. And then having a free to sation test.
I mean those blood work panels alone are normally like
fifty sixty seventy.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
One hundred bucks.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
So giving that to men for free and it's free,
it's free. That's wow. That's right. Oh nice?
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Oh yeah, and you get the you get your results
back in thirty minutes.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
I was about to say, I read on your little
sheet that you all get the results in the same day.
That's that's amazing because I know, like I go get
my blood drawn and it takes a week, and you know,
you're like sitting there like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Like what's going on?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
You know, But to get it back within thirty minutes,
that's astonishing.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Well, also, so much can happen within a week, right
your diet, your exercise, things can affect those levels. So yes,
those that can already be outdated information. So getting it
right there in the spot is huge.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
And I mean I imagine as like you know, having issues
with your testoster own things can change very quickly, like
you're gaining weight, you're losing weight, like all of those
weird hormonal changes, and you can correct me if I'm wrong,
because I'm just talking.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Like I know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
No, absolutely, but I mean, you know, as far as
that goes, that's like with anything else you can gain,
lose change. Your sugar goes up, it goes down like
all other things. So that's amazing that you guys are
really like pinpointing onto this.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Yeah, and a lot of people, so even myself, like
I'm on tiert personally, and when I started that journey,
it was crazy, like I didn't have motivation. I was
holding on more fat than I thought I was, and
I'm still pretty young, like I'm a younger guy. But
you know, I was like, let's get my test oshroone
tests and see what's going on. I was low, you know,
on the three hundreds and as so in my age,
(04:02):
I should at least be the nine hundreds too.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
A thousands.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I say, what is a good test?
Speaker 5 (04:05):
So typically it can range between three hundred nagrams a
deest leader per nine hundred. That's a really big range.
So it's like that's a three x difference if you're
in the top range of that for a man to
feel great Oftentimes it's in that higher range that nine
hundred to maybe even eleven hundred and twelve hundred, okay, especially
because you become more insulin sensitive lose fat. Some people
(04:27):
have even noticed their prostate improve on tiert. That's something
a lot of people get worried about it, like, oh,
is tiert gonna hurt prostate? And that's a there's a
lot of new science about that every day.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Interesting. I don't know a lot about it, but I
did research a little bit because I knew that I
was going.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
To be I don't want to be like, I don't
know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
I was like, also, but I want to learn.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
But this is a great concept because I mean, you
don't see a lot of things specifically for men's health.
And I think it's wonderful because I mean, you see
all kinds of other things for everybody else. This is
great that we have something that is for men that
cater to them and their needs. So I really enjoy that.
What does a typical visit to game day men's health
(05:14):
look like? For like a new patient, Say, I'm a
dude coming in new.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
What do we do?
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (05:20):
So you walk in, you're greed by a great nurse
or one of the staff people there. You're gonna have
a consultation, figure out where your issues are because a
lot of the time, if you're dealing with EED to
sosterone growth hormone and all these things, there could be
thirty forty different things that are wrong with you. Right,
So we have a conversation, figure out, Okay, how can
we best assist this person in their goals? Okay, because
the end of the day, it's not about getting someone
(05:42):
on T your T or getting them one a peptid
or whatever. It's about helping them feel better and perform
to their best. And that's done with a conversation. And
then if they're depending on what they're claiming, like if
they've gone a free blood test, we do that. We'll
sit down, we'll talk, we have like a little nice
little lounge area, have a free drink, watch the game,
and then you get your boodwork back and have a
conversation continue.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
So that's cool. Let's go back to this.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I want to know, but I think I don't remember
if this was off air just a minute ago. But
you said it's kind of like a man cave style, right, Yeah,
So it's not like that all dark, gloomy doctor office.
You just mentioned a lounge area and drink and games.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
So yeah, absolutely, I mean, and we're still trying to
make that that ideal man cave. I mean, the more
times we can have people come in and enjoy the
environment and maybe even have it be an escape. Like
as a dude, a lot of guys don't take care
of themselves just in general, Like we don't take time
for ourselves. Like you think, oh, it's going to work
my entire life. You provide my family, deuil things. Girls
get facials all the time, they get their nails done.
(06:41):
Why can't guys go and relax and get their tasashroone
tested optimize their health, Right, That's something we aim to
do and we're constantly trying to improve that every single day.
So if we see an opportunity to improve that for men,
we're going to do that.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Absolutely love that.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
So what exactly is TRT testosterone replace therapy and.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Who would benefit from this?
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Absolutely?
Speaker 6 (07:05):
So.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Tesostroone replacement therapy is the therapy of replacing the natural
hormone of testosterone. A lot of the time men don't
know anything about the hormones then even know what hormones are.
It regulates everything in the body. I mean as a dude,
that is like the driving hormone for like your energy levels,
your sex drive, your right every it's everything.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
It's everything.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
So what we do is we'll replace that with a
vile They have creams, injectables, orals. Now there's a lot
different ways to administer a testosterone and you find the
right dose that makes you feel and performed the best.
And that's kind of how therapy works. And you get
consistent blood work done probably every three to four months
to make sure that you stay healthy throughout the process
because your health is number one no matter what.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
That's cool, that's really cool.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
So talking about that, like, what are some of the
common misconceptions about low testosterone and TRT.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Yeah, I mean, I would say there's definite a lot
of misconceptions about crosstate. People think if you get on TIERT,
it's gonna enlarge that the it's just inconclusive about if
that's gonna happen. Red blood sell coount A lot of
people get worried about, like, oh, my red blood cells
are gonna increase if you have high red blood cell count.
(08:19):
Everyone who lives in high altitude, has high red blood
cell count and they're fine. No one's saying, like stop
living in Colorado, it's dangerous for you. Right, So that's
something a lot of people that you consider. And the
thing is, I'm trying to pick and find issues with
TRT right now, Like I'm being really nitpicky because there's
not a lot of downsides, right, Like you got to
find them and like really like search for it, you.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Know, Like I I've had family members and stuff that
have done this and like it just has completely changed
their life. They've lost a ton of weight, you know,
they've just become more of themselves. So I don't see
any issues with it, but I've never really dove into
it before. So I'm glad that we get to learn
this today. So how can somebody identify if they have
(09:00):
low testosterone or need TRT so.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
Without blood work, lack of motivation, holding on the fat
ideally compared to how life was when you were eighteen
and how life is now if you were eighteen.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
And some people who have low T at eighteen.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
But let's say most men when they're younger, they feel
live the morning, they want to go out and do things.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
If you wake up every morning.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
You're not really motivated to like get out of bed
or go work or put your best foot forward at
your job. Tier T is you know a lot of
entrepreneurs use TRT. Yeah, it's a huge thing in the
like performance space of like high performing men because it
helps you feel like you're younger, and if you feel younger,
you can do more and think about when you go
to school, you do a your assignments, and you go
practice for three or four hours in your sport that
(09:42):
you play, like that's a lot of stuff to do, right,
and most people in their thirties forties don't do anything
close to that.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah, No, I couldn't imagine doing like tennis conditioning and
stuff nowadays. I'm like, now about thirties, I'm like, oh gosh,
that just looks painful.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Right, absolutely, that's so true.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
So what are some of the risks real quick before
we go to break What are some of the risks
or side effects to TRT if there are any, and
how would you manage it?
Speaker 4 (10:08):
So risk could be estrogen. Everyone's different.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
Some people feel really good with high estrogen, some people don't,
So that could be one.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
You know, when you.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
Do have tierta your system and you're just more anabolic
in general growth factor. So if someone has cancer, it
could cause more growth of that. If they already have it,
it's not going to cause it, but it just speeds
up everything. So when you're younger, you heal faster, you
generate faster. Everything's going right. Like I said, I'm still
trying to nitpick here and just get.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Really like, Okay, what are the risks here?
Speaker 2 (10:39):
What can I It doesn't seem like there would be
too much of a risk at all. No, So I
mean that's awesome, we can we can do one more
question break, How do you overcome the stigma or hesitation
about seeking for help or getting TRT or testostero?
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Yeah, how could you do that? As a man?
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Like go be like I need to do this, you know,
because like you said earlier, men are stop burn about
going to the doctor.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
Well, so let's say your favorite sports figure. A lot
of people that men look up to are on TRT.
They just don't know yet because a lot of people
think they're they're shy to talk about it. There's nothing
wrong feeling your best if you if you want to
make that change, it's the same thing that's going to
the gym, like you're making an active choice to like
put yourself first and decide, Hey, I'm tired of feeling tired.
(11:30):
I'm tired of dealing with this every day, and I
think I deserve to feel better. I could show up
better for my wife, I could show it better for
my job.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Why not?
Speaker 5 (11:39):
Why not decide to put that forward and make this
a choice for me? Then being like, oh, what, that's weird.
Why are you doing that? It's like's not if it's weird.
It's about if I can be the best person of myself.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Right right, It's just like going to the gym.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
All right, Well, we'll go ahead and we'll cut to
break and I will be back in just a little
bit with Cameron from Game Day Men's Health.

four or email me at Billy at Theenefits Firm dot com.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Thanks for listening to Talk Radio ten eighty Real News,
Real Talk.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Welcome back to the Chamber Connection. I'm Amanda Harper and
I have camera and with me from Game Day Men's Health.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
We were chatting a little bit about all.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
That they do before the break, and we're just gonna
get right back into it. Cameron, you ready, all right?
Are there any surprising benefits or changes that patients have
shared that you've heard about or been a part of
about the about using T or going through TRT treatment.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Yeah, So I can't speak for our exact patients because
I don't know if I can always disclose that, but
let's say all my buddies that are on TRT as well,
you know, or even your experience, Yeah, totally. The muscle
that you'll gain will be absurd, like it is that
game changing. You start to put a muscle, like you know,
when you first start going to the gym and you
make those quote unquote nubie gains. You get all those
(13:39):
you get all of those back, your insolent sensitivities through
the roof. You know, I'll monitor my glucose every day
and before TIRT, I could wake up at like ninety
hundred on the higher side, and now I'm pretty consistently
like in the low seventies, which is super insolant sensitive.
Do you just know about that? You see decrease in
visceral body fat? Like I said, motivation, sex drive. I
think I'm being a dude. You're just more man, right, Yeah,
(14:02):
all right.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
So you talked a little bit about they get the
re checks and all that good stuff. They keep continuously coming.
So are there any other like ongoing support for patients
on t RT or anything like that, like other than
just coming in and knowing that they have a safe
place with you guys.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Do you all have anything like that?
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (14:25):
Absolutely, So it's an ongoing conversation with people every day,
and we like to check up on them. So we'll
text them and be like, hey, how's everything going. And
sometimes we'll just check in and be like how's the
how's the wife, how's the new dog?
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Like so you had a kid, she see that game?
Speaker 4 (14:37):
How's it doing? Us?
Speaker 5 (14:39):
Part of that and then also sometimes that might need
more than tirty. So we have a lot of peptides.
You have other ed medications as well, so you must
must go skeletal things with game like other things of
that nature. So sometimes it's like maybe we need to
prescribe something else to go with it, to compliment it,
and that could be what they're missing because they say, hey,
I'm still maybe a little tired, or like I have
(15:00):
a lot of brain fogs, and like, oh, some max
is your answer, or you know, I want to put
on some more muscle mass. It's moreland Like, we got
a solution for whatever their needs are, and that's what
we like to have that ongoing conversation, and that kind of.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Leads into my next question, what is.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
What is like some of the benefits or I'm sorry,
excuse me, what are some of the things that you
all do other than the TRT Like I know that
you do stuff with the prostate and things like that,
but what are some of the other benefits of coming
to game day men's health?
Speaker 5 (15:37):
So the other services we have there's peptide therapy, vitamin therapy,
and then eat eat E therapies. Uh. Peptides can include
things like TV five hundred or BPC one fifty seven
if moreland things that affect your growth hormone or healing factors.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
A lot of people post surgery.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
If they get a peptide like BPC, they heal really fast,
Like I'm talking like a twelve week recoveries now four weeks,
So that's amazing. On the EDES side, they have the
p shot and they have gained way was the patent treatment?
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (16:06):
And then I see there's options for people who maybe
like if you don't want to inject yourself. I mean
I always say you should, it's the most bioavailable form.
But if you don't want to, there's orals, there's nasal sprays.
So there's a lot of options for everybody, depending on
what their needs are, is what I appreciate.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Yeah, for sure. So how do you keep the public
talking about this? How do we get this more engaged
and normalized I suppose would be the word for it.
How do we talk about this more in the public,
so the more people who.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
Are on TIRT talk about it, that's better for the
entire community. And then partnering with other businesses. We have,
you know, two people from a business that we just
partner with that actually want to document their entire journey
through TIRT, which is awesome because not a lot of
guys want to be transparent about it. So having someone
who wants to document that journey before and after, I
think it's gonna be a powerful testimonial and be a
good source for the public to be like, Oh, it's
(16:57):
it's not weird, it doesn't hurt. Not this thing you
don't talk about. It's like, oh, I just have my
coffee this morning in a te or.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
Tea shot, right right.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
So let's go back to this partnerships. So you just
mentioned some partnerships, So tell me a little bit about
what you guys are doing to partner with places in
the community, because I know Pam and I know that
she's really big on the community aspect.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
I mean, she's doing.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Everything all the time with community, and I suppose that
you guys are going to be doing the same thing
with game Day men heal men's health.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
So just tell me a little bit about what you
got going on.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
Yeah, So a lot of businesses, when they think marketing
is just like I'm going to put money into meta
and like Google ads, which works, and it's a great tactic.
But if we find the people that are already into
what we're into and that we could help, like people
go to F forty five Hot Works Orange Theory, people
who already chose to put their health first. It makes
a great partnership because we're now aiding those gyms and
(17:53):
providing more services. So it's like, oh, I get to
be a member at F forty five and I get
a free test s fasterone test. That's pretty awesome, right,
great value add for them, And then we get to
expose our services and more people and like you said,
make it more normalized so they can say, oh, I
haven't thought about that before. Maybe I should get my
testosterone shot. And yeah, everyone gets a free B twelve
shot if they are a partner with or they're a
(18:13):
member of a partner business of ours.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Explain that a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
So, I have a business and I'm a partner, so
go ahead, explain theirst.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
So here's how it would work out.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
I'd probably reach out to some person reaches out for
the partners, right, and I'd be like, hey, I'd love
to offer all of your members a free test oster
and test for the men and for everybody, a free
B twelve shot. How about that most people charge fifty
bucks for a free B twelve shot.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
That's pretty sweet.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
And then we'll set up vendor events and we'll like
come to your business and you know, do a little
like grip test game and see who can win and
hang out. Everybody also cross promotion, so we'll promote your
business to our members and then you know, in turn,
hopefully you'll promote our business to your members. So you
try to make it as mutually beneficial for everybody as possible.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
That's that's wonderful. We do that as well.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
I mean, I feel like when you're a community, community base,
and you're really trying to get in that community, it's
always you. You build stronger relationships whenever you're doing that
with the community, when you're cross promoting, when you're really
helping each other, that's whenever it helps. So what are
to you all, what are some of the best kinds
(19:25):
of relationships that would benefit your business?
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (19:30):
Similar to what I just said of like hot works
forty five, any place that has active individuals or men
that like the golf courses do great.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
If you're a golf course and you're listening get with
Cameron or Pam if you're if you're a gym get with.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
I've reached out to so many golf courses guys answering pickleball.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Pickleball is great.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
That's yeah, that's real.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
It's like, come it up, like everybody's about it right now.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
That and those guys work harder than I do.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Oh gosh, it's intense.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
It's really intense. It's crazy. So we got a couple
more minutes here. I want to hear what you all
what's next, What's what's in the development staate?
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Like, what are we doing with Game Day men's health?
Speaker 4 (20:18):
So big picture game here? I yes, that's what I'm
asking Yeah, big game Day.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Picture right big?
Speaker 4 (20:23):
That so exciting.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
More locations of course, bringing the sources to around Kentucky,
around Louisville, the whole area.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
The brand's doing a lot of really interesting stuff just
in general. Like so Game Toy in itself is still
kind of a newer franchise. I think they just recently
franchised within the past few years and it blew up
to like four locations, like two hundred plus locations now. Uh,
So I'm really excited see where that goes. I mean,
any cutting edge therapy for men. They're going to keep
advancing towards that, and then of course keeping on the
(20:55):
partner all the partnerships, partnering with every business we can
that has any kind of ideal customer for us and
that we can help out and that we can help
them out.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Human resources.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yeah, well, I don't know if anybody heard that off
off mic, but Pam said, she's sitting over here watching us,
loving every minute of it.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
But Pam said, anybody.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
That's uh like HR or anything like that, spread the
word to your employees.

I feel like a lot of people turn a blind
eye to men's health. And I love that you guys
are doing this because it does it brings up the
hard things for men and it shows them that other
people are doing it too. Mental health, Yeah, yeah, absolutely, It's.
Speaker 5 (21:46):

have employee benefits, why wouldn't you want your employees to
feel and perform better.

Absolutely, that in turn helps your business out.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Right right, It's just like it all comes back to
like culture and stuff like that too. You know, like
you want to give your employees the best culture that
you possibly can.

the good stuff.

so right now people will get the cheapest price for
TRT ever before prices go up. And then we also

fifty a month for four shots. So that's a shot
(22:42):

like extremely cheap. Like when I heard about that, I
was like, sign me up. That's all specials right now, right.
