Speaker 2 (01:19):
A godspol.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Ladies and gentlemen. In Matthew chapter nineteen, there is a
statement that has little significance in the time in which
we live. It is insignificant not because of the one
who said it, for it was spoken by the only
begotten Son of God. It is insignificant not because there

(01:50):
is no truth in it, for it was spoken by
the one who said, I am the Way, the Truth,
and the Life again, the only Begotten Son of Almighty God.
It is insignificant only to those who have no regard
for God's word. As far as this world is concerned,

(02:13):
it matters not if this divinely inspired statement is ever heeded.
That to which I am referring is the statement of
Jesus recorded in Matthew nineteen verse six, what God has
joined together. Let not man separate nine significant words forming

(02:34):
one insignificant statement. As far as the world is concerned,
the subject, of course, is that of the bond of
holy matrimony known by some as marriage. Jesus was not
talking about shacking up. He was not talking about having
a fling or having an extramarital affair. He was not

(03:00):
speaking of a pre marital trial arrangement between two consenting adults.
He was talking about the old fashioned subject of real
God ordained marriages between men and women, males and females.
He was certainly not talking about marriages between two persons

(03:21):
of the same sex, for he said, have you not
read that He who made them at the beginning made
them male and female. The problem today, as far as
the participants in the gay movement is they have never
read the beginning of God's Book that says, in the

(03:42):
beginning God made a man, and God made a woman
from that man, and that is all he made as
far as the creation of humans. Adam did not have
another Adam, and Eve did not have another Eve to marry.
Because God never made to Adams or to Eve's it

(04:06):
was not difficult for Adam to be attracted to Eve
or for Eve to be attracted to Adam. There was
no one else to be attracted to. God made it
this way on purpose, and God intended it to stay
this way forever on purpose. The only reason it has

(04:26):
not stayed this way is because of the influence of
Satan in the lives of God's creation, including those who
have been elected as representatives and judges of American citizens,
as well as some who disgrace rather than grace America's
pulpits were God's word is supposed to be preached. Concerning

(04:51):
the marriage of one man to one woman, Jesus said, therefore,
what God has joined together, let not man separate. We
would and could speak loud and long on the subject
of marriage and its responsibilities and obligations, and on the
subject of the sinfulness of separation and divorce. We could

(05:15):
speak loud and long on the ungodliness of this nation
that is now watching almost half the married couples who
went to a local courthouse to obtain a license to
be married, returned to the same courthouse a few weeks
months years later to be divorced for every reason imaginable.

(05:39):
We could speak loud and long concerning all of this,
but we will save this subject for another time. At
this time we will consider the statement of Jesus. Therefore,
what God has joined together, let not man separate and
apply it to some spiritual issue use other than marriage. First,

(06:03):
consider the subject of salvation from sin. Therefore, what God
has joined together, let not man separate. In Mark sixteen,
verse sixteen, God has joined together believe and immersion in water.
Jesus Christ, the author of eternal salvation, said, he who
believes and is baptized will be saved. Who dare read

(06:27):
that simple statement of Jesus and have the unmitigated gall
to separate what God has joined together? But men of
the cloth across this nation have the unmitigated gall to
do it every time they stand behind their pulpits, whether

(06:48):
it be a radio, television or church building pulpit. God
has joined together believe and immersion, and has said, when
these two stand together, salvation is the result. Of course,
the religious denominational world does not teach this because they

(07:08):
do not believe it. This religious world teaches that if
you believe in Jesus, trust him as your savior, and
invite him into your heart in prayer, you will be saved.
If this were true, we wonder why Jesus did not
say that. In Mark sixteen, verse sixteen, he said, he

(07:31):
who believes and is baptized will be saved. We wonder
why Jesus did not say, he who believes and invites
me into his heart will be saved. If what the
denominational world teaches is actually true, there are men you
will hear today on this radio station and every other

(07:53):
radio station who will tell you can be saved right
where you are, without ever getting from off the seat
on which you are sitting, or out of the bed
or on which you are lying, or from behind the
steering wheel of the car which you are driving, simply

(08:14):
by trusting in Jesus and praying a sinner's prayer. The
question is this, do you trust in Jesus enough to
believe what he said even when it contradicts your preacher?
Do you believe that unless you believe and are immersed

(08:35):
in water, you cannot be saved if you do not
trust what Jesus said in Mark sixteen sixteen to be
the truth. You do not trust in Jesus enough to
be saved. Therefore, what God has joined together, let not
man separate. Not only has Jesus joined together believe and immersion,

(09:00):
but He has also joined together repentance and immersion in
Acts two verse thirty eight, and apostle preaching under the
inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said, repent, and let every
one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins. I ask again, who

(09:23):
dare read that simple statement of Apostle Peter and have
the unmitigated gall to separate what God has joined together.
Of course, the same men who separate belief and baptism
in Mark sixteen, verse sixteen have no difficulty in doing
the same thing with Acts two, verse thirty eight. God

(09:46):
joined together repentance and baptism in that verse and said,
if a person will do both those things, he will
receive the remission of sins salvation. But along comes a
modern day denominational theologian, and he says Peter was an heir.

(10:06):
We must repent to be saved, but immersion does not
have one thing to do with it. Ladies and gentlemen,
that theologian, regardless of who he may be, has separated
what God has joined together? Does it not strike you
a bit odd that most modern day preachers accept only

(10:27):
part of these verses but not all the verse. Why
would a man tell you that you need to believe
but not be immersed, or that you need to repent
but not be immersed. They may give you many reasons,
but not one of them is acceptable when those reasons

(10:48):
flatly deny God's word. One reason for popular preachers separating
what God has joined together in the salvation doctrine of
Mark sixteen, verse sixteen and Acts two, verse thirty eight
is it is religious suicide for them to tell it

(11:08):
like it really is concerning how to be saved the
Bible way, Denominational preachers and some in the Church that
Jesus built live in nice homes, receive a nice salary,
and have no problems of any kind with anyone in
the local congregation. Why ups at the apple cart by

(11:31):
telling people some of their relatives think they're saved when
they really are not. Why up set the apple cart
by telling people in their own congregation. They are not
really saved when they think they are. Why create unnecessary
problems for yourself. There are one hundred different ways to

(11:54):
justify not preaching salvation truth, but there is no way
to escape the truth of God's word. Masses of people
will go to hell because a preacher, an elder, a deacon,
a Bible school teacher, a Christian, and I use that
sacred name very generically, has separated what God has joined

(12:17):
together in the area of salvation doctrine. There is another
doctrine in which we need to be cautioned not to
separate what God has joined together. It is the doctrine
of worshiping God in spirit and truth. The Lord Jesus
Christ said in John four, verse twenty four. God is

(12:38):
a spirit, and those who worship him must worship in
spirit and truth. No man in his right mind would
have the audacity to tell us what God has joined
together in this verse, worshiping in spirit and truth should
be separated. You might be saying, Preacher, for once we agree,

(13:02):
no one has any right to do this. But you
might also be saying, I have never heard anyone say
God can be worshiped in spirit and error. No, you
may never have heard anyone come right out and say that.
If someone were to say that, you would never accept it.

(13:23):
And the devil knows that better than you. He is
too slick to put into the mouth of one of
his servants a stupid statement such as that the wolf
would be too identifiable even while dressed in sheep's clothing.
But along comes a wolf in sheep's clothing who says,

(13:45):
it doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you
believe something, because we are all going to the same place,
but just taking different routes to get there. That sounds
good and counts millions by it. What that wolf has
done is separate what God has joined together. Another wolf

(14:08):
in sheep's clothing says, join the church of your choice.
That sounds democratic, constitutional, and lack the American way of
doing things. But what that wolf in sheep's clothing has
done is separate what God has joined together. A denominational
preacher says, God bless all the churches, God bless all

(14:32):
the pastors. That sounds religious, that sounds like a man
of Christian love. But what he has done is separate
what God has joined together. Ladies and gentlemen, the Lord said,
God must be worshiped in truth as well as spirit.
It matters little how you worship God if it is

(14:53):
not done in truth. To preach that one receives salvation
at a radio or a prayer altar is worshiping God
in vain as much as a foreign tribal heathen who
bows down before a stone image. To preach that someone
receives salvation by praying the sinner's prayer is worshiping God

(15:17):
in vain as much as a person who prays to
a heathen god. To preach that a baby should be
sprinkled with water is worshiping God as much in vain,
as much as one who sacrifices a baby on the
altar of molech. To preach that one church is as
good as another church is to worship God in vain

(15:41):
as much as preaching a Satanic cult is as good
as the church that Jesus built. It does make a
difference how we worship God. The Lord Jesus Christ said,
those who worship God must trust, must worship Him in
spirit and truth. The Bible was given to us from

(16:02):
God to bring us to Him, not for us to change,
re arrange, develop redesign or set aside to suit the
changing times and sifting sands of human opinion. No matter
how sincere, you may be worshiping God in any way
other than that which is authorized by Book, chapter and verse,

(16:26):
is worshiping in vain. This is why there is no
prayer altar, and no altar call in the assemblies of
the Church that Jesus built. They do not follow the
pattern of God's Church in the New Testament. The last
altar upon which a sacrifice was made and accepted by

(16:49):
God was the one nailed to a cross on Calvary's Hill.
It was the lamb of God. This is why babies
are not wrinkled with water, children are not confirmed, and
beads are not counted in the Church that Jesus built.
These things are not in the Bible. This is why

(17:12):
there are no quarterly, semi annual, or annual Lord's Supper observances,
not even the popular Good Friday Lord's Suppers, or Lenten
or Monday Thursday assemblies. They are not in the Bible.
This is why men of God do not wear special
clothing or robes, wear chains or necklaces, or carry crosses

(17:35):
to distinguish themselves as special holy men. There is no
special clergy in the New Testament Church that Jesus built.
The names of religious men and religious practices are not
used to identify the body of Christ. To worship God
in truth is to worship Him according to what is

(17:58):
written in the Word of God. For it and it
alone is truth. Ladies and gentlemen. There may be a
thousand ways to justify worshiping God in vain, but there
is no way to escape the truth that people will
go to hell because a preacher, an elder, a deacon,
a Bible school teacher, or a Christian and I use

(18:20):
that sacred name very generally has separated what God has
joined together in this area of worshiping God. And then
there is another doctrine besides the doctrines of marriage, contracts
salvation in worshiping God, in which we must not separate
what God has joined together. This is the area of

(18:44):
Christ and his Church. There are some people in religion
who believe that church is so unimportant that a person
can actually be saved by the blood of Christ without
ever being an active member in his Of course, they
do this by reminding us that they are as good

(19:05):
as the people in that church building down the street.
That may be true. In some cases it is true,
but that does not have one thing to do with it.
If they are as good as, but not better than,
the hypocrites in that church building down the street, who

(19:29):
are going to hell? Where does that put them? You
answer this question, ladies and gentlemen, all this is nothing
more than devilish boulder dash. To separate Christ from the
Church and the Church from Christ, and ladies and gentlemen,

(19:52):
that is not possible. It cannot be done. One has
the power or the authority to separate what God has
joined together. In Acts, chapter eight, verse one, it is

(20:13):
written that Saul was consenting to Stephen's death. At that time,
a great persecution arose against the Church which was at Jerusalem.
In the ninth chapter of Acts, verses four and five,
while traveling to the city of Damascus, the same person

(20:36):
who was persecuting Christians was asked by the head of
the Church, Jesus Saul Saul, why are you persecuting me?
And he said, who are you? Lord? Then the Lord said,
I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Way in which

(21:01):
the Lord was being persecuted by Saul was by what
Saul was doing to the church built by Jesus. What
you do too or do not do for the Church,
you do too or do not do for Jesus. Jesus
and his Church are inseparable. Of course, when we understand

(21:26):
that the Bible teaches that the Church is the body
of Christ, over which He is the head, this is
not difficult to understand. It would be unthinkable to believe
that were you to cut your body, your head would
not also be affected. In like manner, it is unthinkable

(21:46):
to believe that the Church is unimportant and has nothing
to do with our salvation. While we say we love
the Lord Jesus who gave his life for the Church.
It is true that the denominational church world has absolutely
nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ, and that

(22:07):
the Lord Jesus Christ has absolutely nothing to do with
the denominational church world. But when it comes to the
Church built by the Lord Jesus Christ, you will die
and go to hell if you think your salvation is
not linked to both Christ and his Church. God has

(22:33):
joined Christ and his Church, and don't forget what God
has put together. Lot, let not man separate ladies and
gentlemen by God's grace, by his providence, you and I
have been joined together in this radio broadcast, in which

(22:56):
you have been told how to be saved from your sins,
how to worship in truth, and your need to be
part of the Church that Jesus built. Now lest you forget,
remember what God has joined together. Let not man separate.
