Speaker 1 (00:20):
Martin Fish is the three cows in the first ten points.
In the third quarter, they look for more Mitchell from
the heat logo, he's one flight, Butler pulls up, Hey
knocks it down.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Wow, man, you better get a heat check on that,
young man.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Broadcasting live ish from Rocket Mortgage Field House on the
sunny shores of beautiful Lake Erie.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
God woke up on a knee and give the nonsense
pleasing Oh my God?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Is it Miyami?

Now you're your host Rafa and Joji.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
Whoa Yeah, Hey, everybody, welcome to a road edition of
Wine and Gold Radio.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
What's the last time to do that? A road edition?

Speaker 6 (01:21):
The front room, I don't remember, but we are in
a boardroom in Boston. We're very feel very fortunately. I
feel like you're in a Senate subcommittee. I am Joji.
To my right always unfortunately is Hernandez Brito, and we
are joined today by our very very special guest, Juan Miguel,

(01:46):
the voice of the Canberras. Are you the voice of
the cables or say that?

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I mean?

Speaker 6 (01:50):
There's also you know, Tim Alcorn. He's also a voice
of the.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Cap I'm not worse.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I guess yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Wait before we continue, I remember the last time we
go on the road, we were doing this show near.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
A hot talk I forget what place.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
That was in at the Players Association in New Year
that what it was. This is much more intimidating, setting
wise than that was. There was no hot time. John,
Welcome to the show. Thank you. Great to be here.

Speaker 7 (02:19):
Despite the intimidating circumstances under which we meet.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
You're used to this stuff though you're you're an attorney.
He is right at an advisive council.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Just everybody understand, we're in the coaches room.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
This is where the coaches Okay, we purposely sat John
on the other side of the table, and he's phasing
firing questions myself.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Advisive council.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
More time again my fifth Amendment, right, and.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
We're going to be asking John Michael some tough questions,
so you feel free to plead the fifth at any point. Okay,
thank you? Uh. And I also I was thinking when
we left Cleveland, recreational marijuana was illegal, and when we
get back it will be legal, so the whole state
might be stoned by the.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Time change the rule, change the rules, they don't change
it right.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
Last night, or I should say Tuesday nights, Kevaliers fell
in Boston. Tough game. Free throw disparity, that was a
big story. I know people were upset after the game.
Nine free throws twenty six for Boston. That was kind
of the tale of the tape. Really otherwise played him
very very close, hit nineteen three pointers.

Speaker 7 (03:30):
I really like the start, didn't you guys. I mean,
coming off the tail end of it back to back,
I think they caught Boston sleeping a little bit. That
Celtics hadn't played since Friday, So you want to talk
about I mean, you know, with that NBA schedule, sometimes
you eat the bear, sometimes the barrier too, and that
was one where the that scheduling bear ate the caves
caught up to him in the second half. It again,
not all that surprising. You don't want to blame it

(03:52):
on that, you know. I think the effort was there.
I mean, the team came out hitting threes. Well, they
had hit half those threes in Orlando. You know that
would have been a win down in Florida. But you
like the effort. I think the game plan was good,
and I think, you know, let's see what happens here tonight,
is they have round two.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I think the circumstances are are what they are. And
this is not to make any excuses, but we just
lost to probably the two best home teams in the East.
They have two loss at home. They are the Trees
have two losses of home. The Celtics undefeated, and they
show why they they are undefeated at home. That crowd
was amazing as night at the at the Garden. And

(04:34):
also you mentioned the Trees, you mentioned the disparity on
on the on the free throw and you know, you
throw in there that we had landed what like fourteen
eighteen hours prior to the to the game start. So hey,
I'll take the good and I'm a half class what
the half full glass guy for at least for this occasion, you.

Speaker 7 (04:53):
Guys showed me a starting fat that's better in the NBA.
I defire you.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
I mean, I.

Speaker 7 (04:59):
Think we saw yesterday precisely why Boston puts all the
chips into the middle of the table, right. I mean
last season there were times when Brown and Tatum they'd go,
they'd go, they go, they go, but they'd have their
cold moments, they'd miss, start missing threes, they'd start missing shots,
and Boston needed that one more go to guy, that
one more piece. Porzingis had two points at the half too,

(05:21):
and he got going in the second half.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
This is what this is why they did what they did.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
I mean, they signaled really early in the offseason that
we are not comfortable with standing pat. Despite the fact
that they might have had the best team last season.
They certainly were in the discussion. They went out and
got Porseic, They got rid of Marcus Martsinnilo Gallinari. Three
team trade signaled early We're we're not standing pat. We're
not doing this again. We're not running a bag. They

(05:46):
bring in Porzingis, and then how about as soon as
the Lillard dominoes start to fall, they see Lillard go
to Milwaukee.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
We gotta do something right.

Speaker 7 (05:54):
The arms race continues, and only four days later, out
go Malcolm brog and outcome Robert Williams.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Two more picks.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
They sent two in that first deal, two more first
rounds over to Portland.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
We need Drew Holliday and.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
Drew's I mean, he's to me, he's almost a better
defender than Marcus Smart.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
You talk to the Boston people.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
They say, not only we don't think we lost anything defensively,
this is forget about offense. We don't make we lost
anything defensively. We may have improved defensively at that point,
Guard Spart with the acquisition of Hart.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
To me, the amazing thing is that when you mentioned
Phoenix and Durant and Beial and Booker, and you mentioned
the Box with Gianni's and Liler, and you mentioned any
other any other team that gets new players, everything you
hear about is like they're going to need time to
get to know each other, to play with each other.
These guys, look, they have three new starters from last

(06:44):
year who, like you, like John said, probably one of
the best teams in the in the league.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
And they look like they've been playing forever.

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Yeah, I thought you were talking about strong looking starting
five when I had a Denver. But your point is,
your point is a great one. Your point is are great.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I think he's incredible. How you know not that he
said about that Port.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
I agree with.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Now.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
I mean we're talking about NBA stuff here, overarching NBA stuff.
They better hope they stay healthy. Yeah, better hope they
stay healthy. This is what happens when you mortgage for
mortgage for big time players. I mean, it's funny how
Jalen Brown just reportedly got the richest contract in NBA history,
and he, depended upon how you look at that team,
is somewhere between the second and fourth best on the team.

(07:29):
He gets the richest contract in NBA history. This is
what we're talking about in what Boston's paying and as
they project out in the future, what they're going to
have to pay.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
So this is a win.

Speaker 7 (07:39):
Now, all the chips in and we saw, we saw
what it looks like in that starting lineup just the
other night.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Yeah, Porzingis changes that team. He really completely changes the team.
And to your point about making trades and pushing your
chips into the table to trade Marcus Smart, to trade
Robert Williams. These are guys that they really invested in,
that they love, so they didn't get emotionally attached. You
know what we're going all in, let's do it so
Hart and Soul, guys, that's what we've heard for years.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
Marcus Smart is the back bull, he's so well, guess well,
a different look, you'll find a new heart and Soul.
I mean, how about you know, what's underrated. I thought, again,
we'll stop talking about Boston here in a minute. But
the Derek White acquisition was huge, you know. I mean,
this guy's the perfect role player. And yet, oh the

(08:26):
other night he went for thirty against the cas He
hits all big threes in that game. Without Derek White,
they may not win that game against the kaz But
it's this I think back to your point about this
working out quickly. The fit is wonderful, and the Porzingis
acquisition was one that some people said, yeah, I'm not
sure if that fits what Boston's doing. The loss of

(08:47):
Robert Williams, he's such an anchor in the middle. Defensively,
this team's been built on having a punishing defense. Can
they continue that's going to be under the spotlight this season.
But they're doing pretty good so far. They're right fourth offensively,
so they're right there. They were second last year, first
year before. They're still right there. And that fit seems
to be seamless.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
But that's what makes it even crazier because you take
not only Williams and Porsingi's are completely different players, but
then when you bring in horror for it, and that's
like that's a whole different way of playing the game.
And it just to me last night that was very
impressive to see how they seem to to have been
playing with each other for a while. But as much

(09:27):
as we always talk about these big guys coming together,
and you know, the Clippers is another example with hard
and going in there with Kawaii and and and PG.
So that to me is what was incredible. But I
was very pleased with the effort considering all the circumstances.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
I thought the cast play great. Definitely, and I again
putting a bow on that. I think before the acquisition
of Holiday, when it looked like Porzingis and Horford we're
going to be in the same starting line, and that
really had people say, oh, you know, I'm not too
comfortable with this, but you pick up Holiday and all
that starting five is gorgeous. It's a wonderful, wonderful starting Yeah.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
And I don't ever want to make excuses or point injuries,
but if Evan Mobley is able to go, I'd like
to see how we match up with them with the
full crew.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
There are some things, some terms in d NBA that
my fans might not like, but there is there are
such things that calendar losses. And I think this one,
it's not that we were going out there that wanted
to win it, but it was kind of like, dude,
if you put all the pieces on the table, it's like, man,
that's going to be a hard thing. On defeat at home,
back to back, coming back from playing from Orlando, no

(10:34):
Mobley and Lever coming back, you know what we're going
to get that Like he's aggressive, there's coming pre bench again.
But again, some times the ball doesn't want to go in.
And it was a game. It was a weird game
of runs too, because it was like a nine nothing
run but the Celtics nine nothing run by the cav
And I know everybody said the game is the game
of runs. And then guess what the Celtics had the
last run and five six minutes to go in the game.

(10:54):
That was it.

Speaker 7 (10:55):
I'm excited to see what happens tonight. And then how
much do you like the way there's a rematch here?

Speaker 6 (10:58):
Go ahead Jah? And then how much do you think
that last they made that last push in the last
few minutes they like a twelve two run. How much
do you think that was running out of.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Gas, running out of grass?

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Not get into the whistle going your way, you know, all.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Night long and at the end of the day.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Again, I just rather look at it as like John
just said, I can't wait to see the rima tonight
and see what. I'm sure there's gonna be adjustments, obviously,
but you know we'll see, okay.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
To me, the most impressive thing about Boston every single
time we go there is the bus driver that zips
that bus up the ramp. Yesterday was the most impressive
feet of bus driving there could possibly be.

Speaker 7 (11:37):
Yesterday was the fastest to me that I felt that
person's ever gone too.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
And sometimes they go stops and stars.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
That guy just that ramp is like a football field.

Speaker 6 (11:49):
Three hundred feet. You got to go again for folks,
don't I mean right right? For I don't know. Boston
is a it's a it's a tight city. I mean,
real estate is at a premium. So at the TV.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Goings New York and we have an elevator in Brooklyn.

Speaker 6 (12:01):
Well, in Brooklyn you go to an elevator and then
the bus you go on around about hydraulic and it
spins the bus around in the inside the parking.

Speaker 7 (12:11):
Inside the parking, some engineer architect got fired here in Boston.
Can't possibly not only he's a very steep ramp, deep backwards,
very narrow the bus Burnley fit with the ridio mirrors.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
But okay, you guys are engineers. What degree is that ramp?

Speaker 2 (12:28):
That gotta be at least sixty sixty seventy degrees? Yeah,
going up because he keeps getting steeper. But the funny
thing is that when when the Oklahoma City Thunder was
here once during the winter and the boss got stuck
in snow and slid and he got stuck in the
in the in the ramp with the rant and hardened boss.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Oh wow. Yeah. So for folks who don't know it's
and I mean there's not there's not two feet on
either side of the bus. This guy throws it in
rivers and backs, then.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
They parlet park it back back inside. The three of them,
one one in front of the other. We play as
because they play the Celtics play is part right next
to the bosses too.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
And then you have the pressure of having NBA players
on your bus, so if you up, they're gonna give.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
It to you.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
Yesterday was as fastest I've ever seen he had to
be going and yes, an hour and reverse. I'm not kidding,
he's right up the ramp and some I mean a
lot of times it's just just sure.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
He's and he was on the phone.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I think it's like a drag right.

Speaker 6 (13:33):
Yeah, So I want to talk where we're at the
end of a four game road trip here. Travel has
been again because of the Paris trip. I think the
schedule has been pretty tight and compact. A lot of
road games. Uh, this is the end of this trip,
and I wanted to talk a little bit about the
road with you guys. And I'll ask you first, because you, guys,

(13:54):
I've only traveled NBA, and when I tell people about
traveling on the road, people usually are kind of interested
in that you traveled with an NFL team or NFL
j Mike traveled with hockey. So I want to ask
you guys, just basic, basic question. What's the big difference
between NFL travel and our travel?

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Well, our travels with the NFL is just one day.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
You leave Saturday and you come make Sunday, except when
you play in the West and the West coach that
you go Friday, for example, to play you know, with
the Browns or the Dolphins. We're going to play out
there with San Francisco. You go Friday.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
So I like when NFL teams say, well, we're on
the road one day.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
This is the best thing about nflday, NFL traveling Saturday game.
Let's say the Browns are playing in I don't know Miami, right, Yeah,
you leave Saturday at two pm, right, you get to
the hotel. The next morning is the one o'clock game.
So you got to get out, go out of there
like at eight am, and then you mistakes, but then

(14:53):
you're home before even someday my football starts.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
I mean when they like the road, it's just the carry.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
On, yeah, because you only have to bring you know,
with the Dolphins and the Browns. Also, a coat and
tie is required. That's that was I would just wear
whatever I was gonna wear on Sunday, and that way
I just don't have to, Okay, so I wear my
game day outfit on Saturday and Sunday coming home.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
Wait a minute, so you say coat and ties required NFL. Yeah,
really on the plane.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Except for the West Coast trip that they give us
like a kid with like a sweatpants and jacket. But
it is a team edition really, so so yeah, but
everybody's wearing the same thing.

Speaker 6 (15:33):
So, but players don't have to code and tie for
players no NFL, NFL.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
The Browns even have made their own jackets. Everybody wears
the same blazer with like Brown's collar and inciety has
the lining of the.

Speaker 6 (15:48):
Of the Brown. I know this, Yeah, so Joel Tonio,
everybody really.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah, and they all vecked up like really nice.

Speaker 6 (15:55):
And Jamkes same thing.

Speaker 7 (15:56):
That was what I was gonna lead with because NHL
and NBA trail was pretty similar. Yeah, you get a
little more international travel with seven Canadian teams in the NHL,
but mostly it's the same. I mean, you know, other
than coat and tie. Players sit in the back in
the NHL. I don't know if that's interesting. Players sit
in the front of the NBA. Players sitting in the

(16:17):
back in the NHL.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
But that's so if you leave, say you're going you
play the Bruins tonight, and you're gonna go play exactly
you got after the game, the players will get in
the suit. That's right.

Speaker 7 (16:29):
That's right when you leave the airport, when you leave
the game to and from games, Yeah, the.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Middle how does that work on aspect games road trip? Though?

Speaker 6 (16:38):
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 7 (16:39):
You get dressed in the locker room, you put your
suit and tie, coat and tie on and off you go.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
That would be hard for me. Let's tell the way.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
We slept over in Miami and we came we went
to Orlando. That would be hard, man.

Speaker 7 (16:50):
But the players, you're taking the bus on your on
the bus from the hotel, your you have your coat
and tie on, so you're putting it back on getting
on the plane, are you.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
That seems antiquated because people well because people in general
don't dress up anymore.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
People, but that's a problem, according to my father does
a problem. But he sees people with sandals and shorts
on the plane with your father.

Speaker 6 (17:14):
I would love, to be honest, I would love if it.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Was the rule because I would tells me it gets all.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
Yeah, I believe that, But I mean I miss wearing
a suit like now. I'm just so you was.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Good, Like I remind with the problems that they gave
us the blazer, so it was basically the same blazer
that you wore just for the to go to bring
my my my game day blazer, and coming back from
the stadium, you dress the same thing. Because that's one
thing about the NFL, you do security at the stadium
before you leave, before you get on the bus, kind
of like the same way we do it in Toronto.

(17:44):
Sometimes they check and they give you the boarding past there.
When the NFL the TSA comes to the stadium and
you have to go to TSA, they do the security.
So by the time you get to the APP I
don't know if it's because there's five buses loaded with people, right,
so you could do the security. You get on the
bus and when you get to the sample you just
get off and get on the bus.

Speaker 6 (18:01):
And then Jay Mike we laughed about this on Twitter.
One day there was a photo I forget which professional
team it was, but they showed the amount of empties
empty beer cans the hockey team went through after a
game and it was like three tubs of empties, And
I thought, how could you possibly drink that much beer?

Speaker 7 (18:25):
After we're talking to NHL, we're talking a minor leagues.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
I think minor leagues different animals, different animal entirely. Let's
see the different minor leagues.

Speaker 7 (18:35):
I spent six years in the minor leagues of hockey,
right for in the American Hockey League two in the
East Coast Hockey League now the e CHL. But that's
that's just in the American Hockey League. And in the
EHL you're playing sometimes on Friday Saturday, both night games
and then a Sunday day game.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
Okay, three different cities, all bus travel sometimes five or
six hours in the winter, some nast five or six
hours between games. So when you get back on the
bus and guys are all beat up. Maybe from time
to time, got to there are some beverages got to
pick to keep you like to keep your company while
you play cards from city to city and you get

(19:15):
ready to do it again. I mean you want to
talk about a tough circuit for those guys. I mean
they go up and get go out and get beat
up every night. They're not making a ton of money,
and the.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Locker rooms are probably not.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
It's not like there's massuses ever. In the e HL.
There was the head coach, the assistant coach, the guy
does the equipment, the trainer, and me. That was it
for staff. I five.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I always love this story that you tell when you
were doing minor league that you were to play by
play for.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
I was for the Johnstown Cheese.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Where's the way is that you have to go go
down on rainy lags and put the tarp on.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
Oh, that's that was based by just mind le like
baseball first, right, and again you want to talk about
short staff not because people weren't going that.

Speaker 6 (19:58):
You're just short staffed.

Speaker 7 (19:59):
It bay anybody, right, But we'd go to a rain
delay and they'd need people to pull that. That tarp's heavy,
so i'd have to I'd have to send it back
to the studio. Get my pull my boots on, which
you're up in the breast box, run down the spiral staircase,
sprint down onto the field.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Get out there.

Speaker 7 (20:16):
It's raining, right, it's muddy, it's creaty, Like I come
back on my mud splattered on my face. I have
my pants are soaked, right, and then I okay, I'll
take it back right.

Speaker 6 (20:28):
Four to two after three.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
And a rainball, And.

Speaker 7 (20:32):
That's the way I went. Then the tarp comes back off.
Let's send things back to the studio. I'll be back
in ten minutes.

Speaker 6 (20:37):
Second. Oh, hold on, hold on, you're falling down trying
to pull of tarbin in and out. It's not easy.
That is amazing. I don't know if you want to
tell the story. You've told the story about your first
minor league baseball game where you had all your note house,
one of my first ones ever. So I just love this.

Speaker 7 (20:56):
I'm up there and it's a beautiful day and I'm excited,
and I have notes laid out everywhere across the notes
laid out everywhere, and it's open air, right, it's just
open to the to the game. So it was this
will date me a little bit, but to tape the
games that I could listen to it and review. And
i'd actually I had a cassette recording the radio okay,

(21:21):
which was back behind me about ten steps. So the
game's about the Starlets. Slayer's the national anthem. So I
go back and I hit record and I'm okay. So
I come back and it's one of my literally but
one of my first games ever, might have been my
second or third game. And there's no notes, and there's
other people in the press box. I'm like, okay, guys,
this is funny. The new gore you are to the

(21:42):
jokes over right, we're getting to the end of the song.
I'm like, all right, somebody gonna give you my notes back?
Like this isn't fun like it isn't funny anymore because
suddenly I look. I'm like, oh my goodness. I look
down and there are about twenty pages of notes spread
on the net, on the protective net that runs from
the backstop up to the back of the fresh box.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
I'm thinking, oh my goodness.

Speaker 7 (22:05):
And so when you look the first guy up, you
look at the scoreboard, it's not like Progressive Field or hey,
here's Jose Ramirez.

Speaker 6 (22:13):
He's sitting two eighty six. This is somebody you've never
heard of.

Speaker 7 (22:16):
Right, So I'm looking down there and you need number,
you need something to say. It's the minor leagues. I'm like, oh,
here's figured out. I listened to the PA guy right like.
So I'm like, here's here's Smith. He's five nine on
the right hand or just guessing right about three innings

(22:37):
until I finally found some other notes.

Speaker 6 (22:39):
But that's about it. Do hockey do either one? I
would imagine knowing football for sure, but in hockey NHL
do they? Because for people who don't know, when we
get to a city, no matter where we go, day
or night, all the staff helps unload the bus or
the truck, I mean, all the equipment we take, all
the equipment off. Then you go to your room, you

(23:00):
get your room number and all that stuff. In NHL,
I can't believe in football do you touch the equipment In.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
The NHL, if you try to touch the equipment, you
will get yelled at.

Speaker 6 (23:10):
You'll be scolded immediately.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
You do not touch the equipment in the NHL, by design,
take a hike, don't even get out under here. If
you need something, we'll get it for you and don't worry.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
About it, you nicetion.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
In the NFL, you don't even see the equipment because
everything gets struck three days before, like on Wednesday. They'll
ship the they'll send the truck. The only time they
they bring the equipment on the plane is when they
go on the West coast and then it takes like
an hour and a half in the plane waiting for
them to load everything back. Because the football teams travel
with everything. Everything you see on the sidelines, yeah, is

(23:41):
brought by the team. It's not like in the NBA
that they provide some of the stuff.

Speaker 6 (23:46):
And the people that you see on the sideline attendance
or whatever that like squirt the water bottle into the
guys travel with us. Really think they just find people
in that town. I mean, why do you because somebody
to squirt water.

Speaker 7 (24:01):
Because people around your players, right.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
You need to trust with people they want and then
that's why you know. The plane, the NFL plane is
not souped up at all like the one, like the
one we travel It is a regular two aisle, three
seats on each side and four in the middle, and
sometimes it's just loaded with people.

Speaker 7 (24:20):
That's for staff, that's separate than the players everything.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
No, no, it's just the same. It's like a regular plane.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
Not souped up all like the NBA planes.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Like the NBA players.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Like players, what they do is they sit in the back.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
And they'll grab a whole row, like you know, if
it's like a two seats in the middle in the
aisles and four in the middle. They'll sit on the
on the side like the big guys.

Speaker 6 (24:40):
And who's your who's your wolfing with the Browns nets Gura, No,
it was was one, and then Octavio was, you know
when he's trying to traveling with it. Okay, but who
normally if he if he's not.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Otabio, But no anymore because now he's doing the game.
So now now I don't know where he sits now,
So I'm not traveling this year with only on the
only for the playoff.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
I'm on the travel.

Speaker 6 (25:02):
And then one more question about hockey. Do they do
shoot around or morning skate? Skate around morning skate morning morning?
My chuck as bad as shoot around. It's about the
same no matter how you look at it. About this,
I'm gonna ask. I want to ask you guys some
travel questions. If you can't answer your wife, your kids,

(25:24):
your pets, what is the one thing you miss about home?
One thing I can tell you what My question for me,
I'll start mine is getting a bowl of cereal or
snacking in the middle of the night. I am a
guy because again I don't sleep much. As you know,
I eat all night, so I mean I'm up all night.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
Maybe that's why you don't sleep because you're eating.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
Well, I'm doing everything at night. I I just don't sleep.
So that's what I miss in the during the hotel room,
there's nothing to do, there's no All you can do
is watch TV. You can't snack, you can't do anything.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
So to me, it's I miss being able to go
down and kind of like get out of bed and
switch to the couch and put them a cup of coffee,
maybe walk around in my underwear for a little bit
and then get dressed. In the hotels, you got your
watching TV from the bed, like I don't. I don't
have TV in my room with my bedroom for example

(26:17):
at home, right, so I use my bedroom to sleep
me too, And when I'm on the road, I gotta
do everything sometimes, Like you know, there's hotels that don't
have a desk, so I can't even switch from like
the desk, from the bed to the desk. So it's
it's it's for me. That's the hardest spot. I missed
my bed. I miss my bed, and that's the most
I mean, obviously I missed my wife, but you know

(26:37):
what I mean.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
Yeah, I don't know if this fits into the category
of things I'm not allowed to say, but like I
missed little Christmas concerts and little ball games, and yeah,
traveling was amazing when you were three children, traveling was amazing.
Like my wife be like, what's it you went? No,
she didn't know it, but it was great. We had
her time away from it. You know, she did everything
I didn't. My thing we get back together. It was

(26:58):
one of the But now little Christmas concert that that
kind of stuff breaks.

Speaker 6 (27:02):
My heart, little little little League games and things like that.
This is this is where it's starting.

Speaker 7 (27:08):
And they're I mean they're still tiny, so it's but
it were and your kids are hold ten and seven.

Speaker 6 (27:13):
Now, okay, and that was my next question. What's that like.
We'll get home tomorrow night at or tonight I should say,
at three in the morning. I mean, it's going to
be super late. What what do they do? The kids
know your home, they don't know until the next morning.
Do they jump in bed with you? Yeah? They do.
They It's that's still amazing.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
If they're up when I walk in the door, which
is almost never because we get home late, they're still
young enough that they'll come and jump all over dead
and stuff. And in the morning tomorrow so we'll get
home after tonight's game. We'll get home what Friday morning
about two way out.

Speaker 6 (27:46):
Yeah, before they go.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
To school, they'll be in the bed jumping around.

Speaker 6 (27:49):
Which is awesome. That's kind of the greatest, all right.

Speaker 7 (27:51):
And I could be like, you know what, let's wait
until the afternoon, but I'm always like, no, I will
never say no to this because when it's gone it's
gone right when they're you.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
All for this.

Speaker 7 (28:01):
That's like in parenting, like, never wish that they were
older or doing something more advanced than they are now.
Don't wish they were walking when they're not walking, because
once they're walking, it's gone. If they still want you
to talk them in, go tuck them in, because when
that's over, don't complain about them, go talk them in.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
When that's over, it's over. So that's kind of where
we are right now. With the go ahead and wake
me up four hours after I imagine that. Yeah, yeah,
right exactly. Jake probably comes in with a hockey stick.
He gets football.

Speaker 7 (28:32):
Can we be like catch It's like no, you gotta
schools like no, but we'll catch it when.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
You get home. This is one of the better cities,
one of the better stops in the league. Really, do
you have a favorite arena.

Speaker 4 (28:46):
To what to watch or to do? Because of my position,
you know, I always have like a different angle on.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
Yeah, this this has one of the best. I mean,
I sit next to you for the sitting next to
review English. How is that?

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I was going to ask you, I love it? Do
you hate that you love it?

Speaker 6 (29:01):
I love it? I love it.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Boston to me is one of the best spots. Believe
it or not.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
The English play by play guys radio by play complain
about this spot all the time, and it's kind of
annoying because it's not bad. They complain about Philadelphia because
it's a little bit to the left. Like sometimes when
you have it too good, you kind of don't real
life what you're complaining about.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
But Boston is nice are and I love the fans.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
I remember you. I went to school here, so this
is not the old Boston Garden, but it's kind of
the same. Fact that the crowd knows and watches the
game and kind of get into it with you and
would have been told to.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
Do good pregame. It's natural fans are into it. Yeah,
nice new scoreboy.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
The dining room is great, but you can serve yourself
as many times what you want. There's no there's no
wizards telling you no, don't bring too close to the food. Yeah,
Boston is one of the nicest city to me. It's
hard to say I love Boston as a city because
I was poor here. Yeah, so the memories are not
you know, I was a very different person when I

(30:05):
was in Boston.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Yeah, same yeah, Madison Square Garden is one of my favorites.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
I hate minus on Square Garden.

Speaker 6 (30:10):
It's one of my favorites. I was gonna say it's
one of my favorites to watch a game. It's probably
been my least favorite to for all the rigamarole and
all the.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Square garden.

Speaker 6 (30:20):
Which one do you like too?

Speaker 7 (30:21):
I'm still a sucker for the big venues, So the
old Staples Center of the old Forum right once, I
mean we would be court side. And again you're right
about the pregame.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
It's hard to get in.

Speaker 7 (30:32):
Madison Square Gardens is the same thing to me, right,
it's hard to There's so much that's difficult. But once
the game starts, and once you hear that Madison Square Garden,
Oregon going crowd yelling defense, trying to throw off your team,
and you know, Calves win there, you know, if the
Cavs winning, well, there's nothing better than being in that
big setting that you watched as a kid and now

(30:52):
you're part of it, you know, and and and to
see your team thrive and to say, yeah, we're all
here doing what we love in this spot.

Speaker 6 (31:01):
It's pretty cool.

Speaker 7 (31:01):
It makes you forget all the to me, makes me
forget all the what makes it so difficult to get
into Madison Square Gardener, all the only I got to
go through to get into the old form.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
The only arena where the NBA creditial doesn't work.

Speaker 7 (31:13):
Yeah, I mean right, this is what we're talking about, right,
all the things that make even this this place. It's
not the old Garden and Chicago's not the old Chicago
Stadium where you know, a youngster, i'd see the black
Hawks and stuff, but it's still the banners hanging and
the whole thing. I know, I'm still a soccer for
that stuff. I like, I like all that stuff.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
At the United Is that I have to tell it
off a story that we went to the United State
are United Center and it's out of town. It's not
in the middle of Chicago. Kind of get out of
town a little bit. And one time we were in
the playoffs and we're backing down. We make that turn
to back down. If you guys even.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
Remember that, it's it's not the Boston round, but it's
still round.

Speaker 6 (31:53):
It's right to go down the thing, but you but
you turn around in the street before you go down
to the thing. And one time, this is in the playoff,
we're turning. We turned around and we're on the bus
with Lebron and the whole crew, and as we're backing down,
there's a guy on the sidewalk and he's given us
both given the bus double guns the whole time, and

(32:15):
the players are just laughing. But the guy stood right
outside the bus and then just stood there and gave
us double birds the whole way down the ramp, and
it was kind of cool. And I remember also one
time in the playoffs we were playing in Toronto and
the guys were all remarking and how how polite the
fans are they leave They don't even yellow obscenities and
stuff either.

Speaker 7 (32:36):
I thought, what I thought the story you're about to
tell as we go sideways was in the United Center,
right they have the seventy two banner used to be
hanging for the seventy two wins. They were trying to
recruit a young Russian player named our Temmy Paneren, who's
still in the league. Were number seventy two and he
got there and he was like, Wow, isn't this nice?
You guys put my number up.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
In the He's like, I don't want to pay here,
I won't be able to win my number.

Speaker 7 (33:00):
That's a different sport. Like, wow, He's like, I'm slow.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
I have to tell yourself this picking of the United
Center if that's one of the arenas where I'm in
the hockey booth, right, But it's really cool to see
the organ, the black Hawks organ. I'm I'm a hockey fan,
you know. I can actually touch the organ. It's like
a little room for the guy to And he has
the colors of the black Hawks too, which is the
one of the coolest logos.

Speaker 7 (33:26):
So yeah, I'm a sucker for all that stuff.

Speaker 6 (33:28):
Yeah, I am to. I love that. Do you guys
have a off the arena topic. Do you guys have
a laundry system on the road?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
None?

Speaker 6 (33:37):
None? Jam it right here.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
I have a laundry bag that I keep putting myself
on the lawn trips.

Speaker 6 (33:43):
But for the most part, you just might work in
the bag.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
I don't. I never do laundry. The only time I
do laundry is when we go to Sacramento. My mom
helped me out.

Speaker 6 (33:52):
Okay, here's a tip for anybody traveling. Don't ever forget
your dress shoes and have them shipped overnight. Don't ever
do that.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Well, you forgot your dress.

Speaker 6 (34:00):
I forgot my dress ues and had them shipped overnight.
Do you wear this trip? This trip?

Speaker 4 (34:04):
What size do you wear?

Speaker 6 (34:05):
Eleven and a half?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Why didn't you think?

Speaker 6 (34:07):
I off? Because I because I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
It would cost a lot of money.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
A lot.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
John and I always help each other. John and I
always help each other if we wardrobe malfunctions.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
If well, if I had known, then I would have
done that. Do you guys hang your clothes or just
live out of the suitcase?

Speaker 4 (34:24):
It depends.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
I unpacked this time when we're going to be more
than you know, if it's just like a one day trip. Now,
I'll take off my my my game clothes.

Speaker 6 (34:33):
You know. Yeah, But do you have a favorite hotel.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
It's a lot of good ones.

Speaker 6 (34:37):
No, they're also.

Speaker 7 (34:39):
Beautify all run together.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
It's funny.

Speaker 7 (34:41):
We'll go we'll go into one now. I can remember
the ones we're not too crazy about. But when we
go into one, I'm like, oh, I really like this one.
But I care if you if you ask me, just hey,
what's the hotel like Old Memphis, State Milwaukee?

Speaker 6 (34:54):
I don't know what's the hotel like in this play?
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
I don't remember the Milwaukee one.

Speaker 7 (34:59):
But the one that the ones we we aren't as
fond of because.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
We're super spoiled. Yeah we are. We can remember all those.
I love the boutique hotels, the arts. I love the artsy,
artsy hotels.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
So you don't like that we're not taking the penguins anymore.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
Those are my favorite hotels. I mean, because you're getting
two for one, you're getting an art gallery and the
hotel normal is nice. And to which one? I know,
that's a that's a beautiful one. What's your favorite bidet
on the road?

Speaker 4 (35:28):
Well, you know they wasn't here in Boston day.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
I don't have the water you do you.

Speaker 7 (35:33):
Look in the wall, it's a water fountain.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Look in the wall. It's like a hole that you
can grab and and use.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
Yeah, but it's the toilet.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
No, it's not. There's a look.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
On the wall. I don't think I do.

Speaker 6 (35:45):
Yeah, you do.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
He's a big Daddy approved hotel.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
Thought it was a water fountain, big hotel. I don't
think I do. I'm gonna take a I'm gonna take
a picture and send it to you.

Speaker 7 (35:57):
I guarantee if it's something you don't recognize, that's what
it is.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
It's right next to you on the letto. You of
your of your bowl.

Speaker 6 (36:03):
I saw that, but it's not it's attached. I can't
grab it.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
It's like a handle and you grab it.

Speaker 7 (36:09):
I don't think it's not the old school leaving it alone,
but if you must, that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Just make sure when you push the buttle, you know
it might be my face.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Give you a fai.

Speaker 6 (36:25):
We used to have a pr guy on the road
named Jeff Schaeffer. Flo missed the guy and he used
to We used to kind of break his chaps about.
He used to take a nice bath. Every time he
would take a nice bath, we tease him that he
would have.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
That you was like like a little docky.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
I don't know there was I know that youtub grab
it all the time.

Speaker 6 (36:49):
Do you do you take a bath?

Speaker 5 (36:50):
Now?

Speaker 4 (36:50):
I don't do bath.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
I've taken a bath.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
I take any one maybe maybe once I have. In Toronto,
my my bathtub was go up with glass on all sides,
like from the side and on my feet. So I
just sat there and watched it with snowing at the times.
It kind of looked cool.

Speaker 7 (37:08):
There was one in California where you could go on
either side of the bath and it was directly you
could see the sever TV from there. I don't know
where that was. That's the only single time jet that.

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Yeah, that jets and that's I think the single only
time I've ever I looked this up before we came
on the air and officially room temperature man sixty sixty
eight to seventy two degrees, which is when I keep
my room and you keep yours. John Michael, what what
temperature is your room? Right now? Is setting me up

(37:42):
for this? You know, I love this thing. Setting me
up my room damage is an eighty.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
Ue that doesn't bother you.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
No, it's again that got so nice in the rain forest.

Speaker 7 (37:55):
The reason for it right, because it's very important for
me on game days to be able to fall asleep
right after shoot out, so I get a good two
three hour nap before the game. You have to be
And everybody makes fun of me for this. Right if
you need me, you're most alert from six to ten
at night.

Speaker 6 (38:07):
You do not have normal You need you need to.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
I agree with that.

Speaker 6 (38:10):
This is what I like.

Speaker 7 (38:11):
So when we come back from shooting around the point
is you just incubate yourself. You can't do anything else
other than fall asleep when you get back in your
room and.

Speaker 6 (38:18):
It's eighty one't agreed, so just quickly in the bed,
boying out for man.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
But I can't sleep at eighty one degrees.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
It's just a sheet as I mean, it's too hot.
You can't get under the cover. Yeah, way too.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
I have it at seventy one right now, and it's
perfect temperature right now with this weather to get under
the sheets, under the comforter, and it gets warm in
a little cold if you stick out and it's just warm.
But I sixty eight is way too cold. I think
the dining room in Orlando was brutally cold, like with
the ac.

Speaker 7 (38:50):
I tend to have in warm weather cities, I tend
to have my problems.

Speaker 6 (38:55):
My room hotter.

Speaker 7 (38:59):
Because the hallway is all air, so that hotter the
city usually the hotter my room.

Speaker 6 (39:05):
I'm the exact opposite, and that I like it nice
and cold, like when I'm home, I sleep with the
window open, even in the winter, just cracking. I like that.
I like the cool. I like being under the under
the the blankets. Okay, now here's a very serious question. Uh,
have you ever gone number two on the plane. That's
not good.

Speaker 7 (39:24):
In the NHL, it's like a five hundred dollars fine.

Speaker 6 (39:29):
You said there's a five hundred dollars fine. If that happened,
that's bad news. Uh, this is kind of for John.
This is for John. You had Since you've been with
the Calves, you've had three different or you have three
different guys partners Ac. Now you have Brad this year. Uh,

(39:50):
Chones you've had at the beginning when you.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
Were raison Fortello.

Speaker 6 (39:56):
Exactly what is the difference between doing games with on
this trip? For example, you had Brad for the for
the first couple and now you have Ac for the
Boston They need another hour. Hilarious. Oh my god. We're
we're really lucky.

Speaker 7 (40:12):
I mean, obviously the different nuances between the different guys,
but I think being in Cleveland period, we're just super
lucky with the legends. Yeah, the legends and not just
in basketball, but you know, Rick Man, I mean it
just goes We're I think we're blessed in terms of
the people who have stayed in the city Chones Austin,
you know, I mean, Brad doesn't live here. But these

(40:32):
are guys, right, these are guys who are not from Cleveland. Yeah,
we're I think we're so lucky as an organization to
have them around and to have them as part of
our broadcast teams as well. So I think it's it's great.
There's so many things are different, but do the game
a little bit differently with with everybody. But I love
I love all of them, and you know, I think
we're I'm fortunate to have been able to work with

(40:55):
all these.

Speaker 6 (40:55):
Guys we got yesterday and saw you see even the players.
Oh yeah, you know, like I don't have families back together.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
I never have the problem because I only disagree with
myself and I want to you know.

Speaker 7 (41:06):
Yeah, that's the I don't mind working alone when doing radio.
But that's the only that's not the only hard part.
But that's the hard part for me. When you say
something that is meant to be a little funny or silly,
there's nobody laughing at you tell your audience like, hey,
that was a joke. You almost have to giggle at
yourself like I've just got a good right.

Speaker 6 (41:27):
It could be awkward, that's that's.

Speaker 7 (41:29):
But working alone radio, working alone could be enjoyable.

Speaker 6 (41:33):
Yeah, what do you guys, what's your what do you
want to see tonight the road trip finale, uh, before
we come home for a nice four game homestand.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
I just want to do more of what we saw
the other night. Yeah, you know, just just sharing the ball.
You know, there's things that they have to correct, like
the points of Tornoba that we've been giving up. And
at the end of the day, you know what JB
has been saying all season long, you win the game
by winning the paint, by winning the second second chance point,
by the torno over the fast break points, and those

(42:02):
are the things that we dominated at the beginning of
the game. And then Kend of Boston came back. So
I like the effort that the guy's game. I liked
what what they have, So they just keep on building.
At the end of the day, man, we were on
a streak before we before we hit the you know,
Orlando and and and the first game here, So just
keep doing what they're doing and eventually the numbers pull
that up.

Speaker 7 (42:23):
I think what's interesting is that people sometimes forget that
no team's playing the same in December as they are
in February as they are in April. And I don't
think anybody would argue that I don't think we've seen
the cast play their best basketball. I mean, they're still
working through a number injuries have been an issue, new
you know, new blood into the lineup. Still trying to
figure out the best way how to use guys, you know,

(42:45):
and get them in spots where they can succeed.

Speaker 6 (42:48):
So and and.

Speaker 7 (42:49):
When you look at the record, it's it's fine, you
know what I mean, It's not fantastic, but it's close
to where they were last season at this stage of
the year. And I think they're they're just fine. I
think this team surprises you. You know, it's been it's
We've had a really up and down I think so
far this season. So we'll see what happens tomorrow. And
then that homestand is a bit of a grind. Yeah,

(43:11):
we're going for Yeah, we're four games and six days
plus a three and four against teams that we don't
see a lot of After Atlanta. Yeah, that is Houston, Utah,
New Orleans that week. So that's those are tricky games.
Those aren't easy in terms of game planning. You know
what the Pistons are gonna do, you know what the
Celtics are gonna do? You know what Indiana does Houston.

(43:34):
You know, the Pelicans are some nuances to those gameunds
for those guys, right, So it's gonna be those are
gonna be interesting games coming up as we approach the
approach the holidays.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Hey, can we post ten seconds to station to identify themselves.

Speaker 6 (43:48):
Let's make some money.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
You're listening to Wind and Gold Radio America.

Speaker 6 (44:07):
Okay, how about we say a little are thank you
can get the wait.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
I have no news for you.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
Okay, let's hear. First of all, I'm a little I'm
a little annoyed that there was no more no more
disco dudes. That was the only thing that would have
been good, that the Celtics winning.

Speaker 6 (44:21):
I was wondering about that, and I think fans probably
don't know that, but we talked about it in the here.
With the Boston now, they they put up a red
our box thing, which.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
Is not a cool kind of cool.

Speaker 6 (44:32):
It's cool, I guess, but it's boring. Boston. What they
used to do when they would win a big game
in the playoffs, they would on their Jumbo troun or
Yumungo try whatever they have. They would post a video
from an old American band, standard Soul Train what's the
that's the dudes name Gino, Gino, Gino, and he would
remember this. If you're listening, look look up Boston Celtics

(44:55):
Geno g you know, and that was a good They
would post just a random video of some of the
mobile train. I think it one of the old seventies
shows American bandstand American bands, and it's everybody kind of
dances the disco a bit. It's this cheesy bearded dude
who's kind of he's he's kind of a good dancer actually,

(45:16):
and he's kind of his white guy and he's got
this skin tight shirt on him and says Gino on
the front. And they would play the song and every
time the Celtics would see up, look up and see
how the screen, all the fans would go nuts. They
would have genu impersonators in the stands. H the Celtics
players would look up and they would love it. So
I do miss Gino because I last night I was

(45:38):
almost like, I wonder if they're gonna play Gino, but
they didn't.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
They didn't. And the other thing is, you know, with
with Mexico not having the NFL game because they have
to remodel a Steca stadium. The NFL will have a
game in Brazil next year in South Power, So if
everything works right on the schedule, guys are gonna be
for the first time in my life a pa in Portuguese.

Speaker 6 (46:00):
Hell game, and you're and you're learning Portuguese.

Speaker 4 (46:02):
I am brushing up on my Portuguese.

Speaker 6 (46:03):
Yeay, so he should be. He should be fighting so
so well, you would be the guy who was saying
thinking Browns. But you'd be the guy no matter, no
matter what you're the NFL.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Yeah, yeah, I'm I'm thinking that one takes pus And
if I'm allowed by the cows, you know, on the schedule,
you know, I don't get to miss like two back
two backs or whatever it is.

Speaker 6 (46:19):
Yeah, as long as you're not climbing a mountain that weekend.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Yeah, no, I'm climbing.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
Well, you know, I'm training forevers, but I'm also saving
forevers and training he's going way ahead of savings.

Speaker 6 (46:32):
Okay, let's say some thank yous and get the hell
out of here, because we want to get John Michael
up to his nice warm room. We have to think
the pr staff. Of course, p J. Heavens runs the
whole thing with the Garrett fist'll bring it down. And
your boy, uh slinging Sammy, who's with the crew, because yeah,
he's he's the main dude, right. So he's in his hometown.
He's got all his his buddies are on town today.

(46:54):
He's probably all drunk drinking Sam Adams down the strenk
right now. Uh, Chromos the Rodster nothing moves without show
he is he could probably He's like like I always say,
he's like Jordan or Shaq or Lebron and that he
could be m VP every year. They just have to
give it to other people.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
Well, he very angry at his Packers for losing to
Danny Kottkliz.

Speaker 6 (47:14):
You know, did you see that the movie Coming to
America correctly predicted the ending of that game. Really, if
you haven't seen that, look that up as well. You've
seen Coming to America of course. And at one point
Eddie Murphy's character is explaining to the McDowell's McDowell's boss

(47:34):
about the the dude from Good Times, Yes exactly, John
Navis the the Packers Giants game, and he describes the
victory as the football Giants of New York kicked the
ball through an h shape thing. He describes the victory
over the packers.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Yeah, so you know how much of a fan I
am of coming to America. When I was in Kilimanjaro,
like in the middle of there was one there's one
camp where all four or five different routes come together,
so it's like a really massive camp. And I woke
up at five in the morning when everybody was sleeping.

Speaker 8 (48:07):
I said, good morning, my neighbors, and somebody else it
and I said, yeah, we have.

Speaker 6 (48:22):
To thank the Great Lucy. And she, Lucy, the Lucy
Verrius is head of our community efforts, so she's very
busy during Now have you gone.

Speaker 2 (48:31):
Have you gone to the office to pick up your snowflake?

Speaker 6 (48:33):
I haven't yet, but I will as soon as I
get in the box a hundred bucks to pick.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
Up a need and a one from a one in
the North Ohio.

Speaker 6 (48:41):
Yeah. And then of course the guy that makes all
this go, we'd be nowhere without him, DMC. John Michael
knows how important DMC is, You know John Michael.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Does who runs the video of the department with.

Speaker 6 (48:52):
The cookie fist.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
He runs it.

Speaker 6 (48:55):
And then of course the dynamic duo of Dirty Kurt
and Marty Allen me Thy Marty. I'm gonna look for
my bidet in my room, but I don't think there
is one. I really don't. I think I don't know
why they gave me that room, but I'm gonna go
look and see. And we will be back, probably from home,
with one more show before the holidays. So we will
see you guys next week, and as always, good night,

(49:17):
Pretty Mac.

Speaker 4 (49:18):
Wherever you are now, else is back Jr.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
