Yay everybody, and welcome to the Playoffs edition, the first
ever playoff edition.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yes, we didn't do anything for the playing that's not
the playoff.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
We didn't. You and I tried to do something, but
we didn't. I am Joji to my he's right in
front of me is Raa Ernandez Brito and and I
have a I have a beef with you because in
the open, as you just heard, you rolled something that
didn't have a double R.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
What what I rolled? Signor yes, but that's the R
at the end.
Speaker 6 (01:46):
You roll at the end, So you roll the R
at the end and a double.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
R and a double R and a double R now.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
So Hernandez Brito. So there really isn't any rolling.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
An don't do, Michael Boffer, you don't do the bwit.
Speaker 6 (02:02):
I know it is fun now, okay, welcome to Winey
Gold Radio Playoff Edition. I got some major beefs with
people out there. Man, I'm in a bad mood. I'm
in a bad mood because people fans. Man up, sack up,
do whatever you gotta do, but get it together.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Man.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
I got on Twitter right after the Cavs game and
people were people were apoplectic. I mean they were just
they thought the world was coming to an end. This
is the playoffs, man, do you think you're gonna run
sixteen straight off?
Speaker 4 (02:32):
And the worst part about that, man is obviously we
know what social media has provided, which is a platform
for people to just throw and which I do sometimes,
but never in a way like I get in trouble
for making jokes that are not funny.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
You troled Michael Reggae, which I still have a problem.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
No, he picked on me first. Let's take that he
picked on me, okay because I commented something about what's
his name, Atthew stat Matthew's for he said he's not
winning quarterback always it's for Detroit and I had to
like spill a little bit, spit a little stats on
him because I was like, you know what he's not.
Speaker 7 (03:11):
He picked on me, He talked on my door, and
I answer, okay, okay, My thing is all these virtual
gms and and and this and Browns syndrome.
Speaker 8 (03:22):
Yeah, but you know, the Monday night quarterback has always existed.
There's always people because after the fact that what that's
the hand side. So I can understand people, But for
people to be acting like we just lost the playing
game when it's the first game of a seven game series.
And if anybody out of all those humans making those
(03:44):
comments about how they could have won the game, is
there any any of them tell me that they expected
the cap to sweep the Knicks the.
Speaker 6 (03:53):
You're an idiot, that's it. And you know, again, I
don't mind. Hey, look people on Twitter, you're right, that's
been going on since the beginning of sports, people second
guessing the coach and all that stuff. What bothers me,
I think is the professionals, reporters and people that half
cover the team.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Reporters, well whatever they that's what you got to watch out.
Bloggers both the whole different.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
But some of them are actual reporters that I see.
I'm not going to name names, but I see them. No, man, no,
I'm not going to name names because we got to
watch my beat.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Writer that are acting like they act don't even know
what they're talking about.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
They're are beat writers, our beat writers. I'll say this,
I read our beat writers know what they're talking about.
I didn't see one of them complain or yell fire
or I mean, but it's some of the reporters are
really like whining. And again, Hey, Kevin Love had I
think he had eighteen points Sunday. It's one game, Kris Slaver,
(04:47):
you know again, Evan Mobley is not going to go
four for thirteen again. Darius Carolyn is not going to
average one assist for the series. These things are going
to change.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
Listen. This is the thing I think that fans need
to learn to look at the game the way the
players and the coaches do. So there's nobody here hitting
the panic button. There's nobody here calling the fire department
because there's a fire going on in here. There's a
lot of people on the other side where we are
right now looking at film and trying to see how
(05:18):
we can do better, and obviously, as a coaching staff,
you have to give these guys weapons and you have
to get this guy's mind ready to go for game two.
My take is we give we did everything possible to
lose the game and still had the lead with two
minutes to go. We did a lot of things that
we have not been doing or that we did well,
like points of turnover. We lost that battle. Our bench
(05:41):
didn't play well or at least wasn't productive. We got
out rebound, and we got outscore in the paint, which
we have we were one of the best teams not
only is going in the paint, but also point differential
in the paint. We lost the battle of points of turnover.
You know, you're the fourth seed by scoring twenty plus
(06:03):
points of turnovers in like like a good stretch of
game on the stratch right. So those are the things
that you got to look at and say, you know what, Yes,
there are things that we need to come out and
play a little harder. And most most teams don't like
to get their own medicine, So we need to be
a little bit more, more, more, a little bit stronger,
you know, like win the scrap like right, So those
(06:24):
are the things that you have to look at. But
you cannot jump out the window of the Twitter window
after game one just because you lost Game one. We
spoke so long and so much until until we beat
to death the word growth and the world learning and
the world not never been in the playoffs, right, we
lose game one, and everybody's like, it's like, fire this guy,
(06:47):
caut this guy, It's.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Like, what the hell?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
That's that's my issue in that, you know a game.
These guys prove their metal all year, JB, Kobe, r GM.
It's like the first game you lose right away, Fire Kobe, Fire, and.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
You know what B. It's like, and you know what
happens is, oh, I'm down man. One game and if
if for any crazy reason, JB worst were to do
what everybody's asking him to do, which is like fifty
moves and everybody's not gonna hit.
Speaker 7 (07:14):
The panic button exactly exactly.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
I can't hit the panic buttons like you got it.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
Right after game one. I had again, I don't. I'm
not gonna throw any names under the butt.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Come on, man, I dare you, No, I dare you.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
I won't.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
I'm gonna looking at Twitter and I'm gonna have that
name in.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Okay, going by name because I'm not doing it. You
can look at Twitter all day. I'm just telling you
that after the game, people were telling me, you got
to make this move, and you got to make this move,
and I thought to my the same thing. Hey, look,
this has worked all year. You don't hit the panic
button after game one. And some of these people are
people that have been through the playoffs with me. I mean, again,
(07:53):
this is my eighth trip. This is this is You've
got to be patient. You have it's a it's it's
a series again, It's it's a four game series. You adjust.
This is the way it works. If we win game two,
there's no reason for the Knicks to panic in going
into game three. Play your game, play it through, but
(08:13):
to hit the panic button so many fans have.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
These are the same people that are already upset because
Luke Travers signed a three year deal with something like
I saw him the European team and everybody's like, oh man.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
Well, I hope I'm gonna have to go look for like, well,
I hope by the time he finally makes it back
to the States, he's come to a second about that
stupid mullet and the mustache, I mean the barbed wire tattoo.
There's nothing he can do about that. But you can
fix that mullet and you can get rid of that mustache.
That's that's a true that's a losing combination by.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Paying for a haircut.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
Now, well yeah, that's exactly. But if you want to
hit the panic button, hit the panic button on that mullet.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
This is my message to Cabs fan. First of all,
thank you for being in your seats early, yes, and
not making the Rocker Mortgage Fieldhouse look like I don't
know what the name of the arena is now in
my they change the name. It's like l Deska whatever
it is. They call that game against Chicago. Do you
watch again? Oh my god, embarrassing. It's embarrassable. Yeah, bad. Yeah,
(09:11):
but our fans were there. They were good, they were loud,
So thank you. But then again, just just stick around
with the team. Don't don't jump off. They don't jump
or whatever you want to call it. We are going
to be competitive in this series, yes, and trust is
and our coaching staff that they're going to make the
necessary adjustment to battle on the other stuff, because on
(09:33):
the other side there's also fifteen professionals by a good
led by a good coaching staff, and it's a battle.
So just don't don't jump off the window of the
Twitter window.
Speaker 6 (09:43):
Please keep your powder dry. Okay, I'll do this. I'll
name I'll name a person on Twitter who who I
do like. I don't know if you follow him or
is a guy named mac Perry? Okay, I don't know.
I think he's a blogger as a podcast. But there's
a guy who I liked what he had to say.
He's very calm, he understands. This is how this works.
It's a process, the whole deal.
Speaker 9 (10:03):
So nobody gives you reasoning behind right away where this
guy switched, this guy fired this guy and then and yet,
by the way, if you tweeting for my show that
he's called the barber shop, I'm already knowing that you
don't have the correctivity.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
Do we even name my show?
Speaker 6 (10:18):
So you know, Hey, speaking of Luke Trevers and mullets,
we got to bring in, bring him in early the
Golden Boats.
Speaker 10 (10:30):
Whenever it happens. Whenever it happens, just wait until the
cats are done playing basketball. I'll walk into the offices.
Speaker 6 (10:38):
Do you have a plan do you have like do
you have a barber? And you kind of talked over
the game plan.
Speaker 10 (10:43):
No, no, no game plan or anything. But like I said,
I think what we we we we talked postgame their
g and I and and I was like, the thought
process for the mullet is if I cut into a mullet,
then I have to go on vacation.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
So that's I don't quite get that. I don't know
why not, you know, you go on vacation because you
have to hide from your office mates.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Is that it's just like want to be American? You
know that American.
Speaker 10 (11:13):
It's just like sit on the beach type of you know,
type of vibe and chill with your mullet. Corona.
Speaker 6 (11:18):
And are you.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Insulted that I might be considered an ugly American abroad to.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
You're not an ugly American abroad? You know another language.
Ugly Americans don't know any other languages. But Matthew Gold
is going to shave himself into a mullet because he can't,
you know, after regardless, Yeah, which is like I said,
it's a it's an affront to a bald man like me.
And that he has such lovely hair, and he's gonna
ruin it. Yeah, he's gonna ruin it by turning it
(11:43):
into a mullet.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
But would you would you rather?
Speaker 10 (11:45):
Would you rather just like let it grow until the
start of next season around?
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (11:49):
Man, if I had your hair, I'd never cut it.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
You're gonna look but if you let it like that
quarterback what's his name from Clemson?
Speaker 10 (11:57):
Trevor Lawrence? Yeah, No, I got curlier hair, Trelor Lawrence.
Speaker 11 (12:00):
Okay, but if he has hair, that.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Golden boy, what do you got for us?
Speaker 12 (12:15):
Man?
Speaker 10 (12:16):
I mean, it's the it's the uh NBA playoffs, right,
we're doing it. We're doing a playoff edition. So we
are after the first game ones over the weekend, Saturday
and Sunday have come and gone. Anything kind of stand
out to you outside of a number of injuries, number
of you know, seemingly major injuries to major players on
a bunch of different teams, was there any injury that
(12:39):
concerns you the most for that respective team?
Speaker 4 (12:42):
None of them? None of them, my guys. So I'm not.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Tyler Herrow is a big loss for them. I'll say that.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
Yeah, But what's his name that? What's his name, the
guy that choked Spike Lee.
Speaker 6 (12:58):
He's going to be including.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
He said that the loss of Hero was more significant
than the loss of I heard that too.
Speaker 6 (13:06):
I'm not saying that by that, but I think Gas
will be back, and then Hero is obviously done.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
He's done. Yes, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
The one thing I did learn from yesterday's playoffs is
Austin Reeves is Michael Jordan's I did learn.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
That he's game. Man. Oh my god, don't be a
don't be a Caps Twitter.
Speaker 6 (13:23):
He had a great game. Let's see that, dude, do
it again, really honestly, let's see it. But he had
But again, the dude, I'm him. You ain't him, Dude,
you ain't.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
I don't know what that means, but it means.
Speaker 6 (13:36):
I don't know what it means means. I'm the dude.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
Anybody you know what? I like him? Because what's his name?
Patrick Beverley was doing the stupid thing that was small.
That's Anthony Davis, and then he score on him and
he did it to Patrick Beverie and everybody was laughing
on the bench.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
Stupid man, I know.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
But he had a good game. I'll give him that.
He had, But all of a sudden he's been anointed
as But that's that's your Twitter world.
Speaker 6 (14:01):
I know, I need to get off.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
It's the tweet. Yeah he had to. He had like
his own seven oh run in the fourth quarter. That
was huge on the road.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
I mean, but again, if Jenny goes off and and
and hits three threes and starts yelling I'm him, then
I gotta come man, you ain't him.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
He's not him, You're not here. He's that type of person.
I don't know who him is, but I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
You got two dudes on the roster that are him.
You ain't one of them.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
I just don't. I don't get that.
Speaker 10 (14:32):
Well, it's I don't know. Is it is this, you know,
a byproduct of playing in l A or a byproducss of.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
The fact that nobody think he's gonna do anything good?
Speaker 10 (14:43):
I mean yeah, I mean, you know, an undrafted guy
who was a two way guy and you know, you know,
I'm not saying you know all that.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
But like's it gonna he might? I hope he ends
up like Jimmy Neutron. Who Jimmy Neutron?
Speaker 6 (14:56):
Who's that?
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Okay, what's his name? Robinson? Duncan?
Speaker 6 (15:00):
I haven't seen.
Speaker 10 (15:00):
That's exactly what you think. He looks like, exactly who's
gonna end up like Robinson? He's okay, I think Austin
is better than Robinson whatever, whoever he is.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
When anybody gets paid, man me, but at least somebody getting.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
I like guys getting paid. But but I mean as
long as I ain't, as long as we're not paying them.
Speaker 10 (15:17):
But I mean it's it's it's like, don't more than
maybe other teams in the playoffs, like the Lakers need
these role players to step up and play, especially when
it's just Lebron and a d when they yesterday a
bit of time like that's what they Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Over twenty and then nineteen by Loka. Did you see
what Moran got hurt in that game? Rank got hurt
and I think Moran Janneys and and and and hero
the three injuries.
Speaker 10 (15:45):
Yeah, Anthony Davis left and came back. Yeah yeah, those
three I think those four. Yeah, I think that's only
one game. So again, we're gonna next week everything is
going to be. That's not even that's not even saying
that Paul George isn't playing.
Speaker 6 (16:00):
Yeah, that's fake. That's big.
Speaker 10 (16:02):
That was I don't know if that was a good game,
that was.
Speaker 6 (16:04):
A hell of a game.
Speaker 10 (16:04):
That was really good.
Speaker 6 (16:05):
Guy as a hell of a game, and you gotta
give it to Russell Westbrook. Man.
Speaker 10 (16:08):
Are you Are you guys fans of Uss?
Speaker 6 (16:09):
Yes? I am.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
I never been a fan. He never played for my team,
so I'm not a fan of him.
Speaker 6 (16:14):
Okay, but you're a fan of Austin Reeves.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
I'm I said he had a good game and I
like his I like this.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
You've been talking about how he's your favorite player of
all time.
Speaker 11 (16:23):
No, yeah, he said that right before we went on
the air. He did, Come on, dude, you know you
don't play for my team. No, but I'm not rooting
for Russ. But I don't care if you play for
my team and left. I am rooting for you Russ Springs.
I mean, he's intense man and he plays angry and
I like that.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
I do too.
Speaker 10 (16:40):
I've always been a fan of Uss, even even when
when he was in Oklahoma City.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Yeah, I wish you would trive more to the basket
supposed to take in those you know.
Speaker 10 (16:48):
Yeah, I mean he was incident with him and a
fan at halftime.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
I heard about it, but I didn't see it. Yeah,
he was going in a halftime and walking I guess.
Yeah in Phoenix where you have to kind of walk
through the tunnels are like right behind the basket, right
and there are fans kind of sitting there, and I
guess a fan kind of gave him some some guff
and he stopped right in the middle and said, hey man,
you know, watch your mouth.
Speaker 10 (17:11):
And you know, it's happened on a couple of times
with it's happened.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
Quite a bit with Russ, and and the fact that
Russ reacts makes fans want to do it all the more.
But yeah, so either way, but that was a hell
of a game.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
I was happy that the only game that was a
go away when was the one that I didn't stay
up for.
Speaker 8 (17:30):
Who stays up for the Nuggets and nobody and I
don't care about who was playing.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
It started like on eleven o'clock.
Speaker 6 (17:38):
Yeah, I think Charles Barkley mentioned that too, And it's
not fair, it's not fair to those teams.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
One of those games got outaneously like something.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
I think.
Speaker 10 (17:47):
I think the Saturday slate and the Sunday slate of
start times should have been flipped, like I don't know
why the first game on Saturday was at one, but
the first game on Sunday was at three or three
point they should have been.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
And there was none of them running simultaneously. It was
all one after the other. So it was just it
was actually sitting at home with my wife and she's like,
it is the last game of the the day and
of the day, and I'm like, I'm sure it is
almost eleven. And it was like, then, I see.
Speaker 6 (18:18):
There's more.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
It's not totally more, but I'm going to bed. I
swear I didn't stay up to actually finally see the
timber would finally with the right guys with with the
other team this time.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
So when I was mac Old's age, I used to
be able to stay up.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
For that, But I used to stay up for baseball games.
Speaker 6 (18:34):
Oh my god, you could stay up that late for
a baseball I can't stay up at seven thirty for
a baseball game.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
The Guardians started in the West Coast this year. It
was a great time. There's a great time to stay
up that I can, especially now that is like a
quick like a faster game, thank god.
Speaker 10 (18:48):
But two hours you're in bed right after midnight.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
To watch the timber Wolves, and uh and and and
and the Nuggets at eleven o'clock.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
If it's if it was getting seven, I would Sunday,
but not game one.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
I'm not watching. No, that's not for me. Yeah.
Speaker 10 (19:03):
So, uh, do you guys see what this was? Was
kind of funny. Do you guys see what deeron Fox
said after their win on on Saturday. No, he was
run around garden Steph Curry in the in the fourth
quarter of the closing stages of the game, and he
was like, did you guys see that interview that that
JR did with J J Reddick and JR told story
and he was like, yeah, DELI almost died trying to
(19:24):
guard like Steph Curry in the finals with twenty fifteen.
Dearon Fox goes, yeah, that sh it's real, Like I
was doing that all fourth quarter.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
I totally I thought you were going to say he
poked the bear. No.
Speaker 10 (19:34):
No, So you know there's a team like even though
they're at my team, like the Kings, watch right to watch,
but don't you. I mean, granted, I'm I'm cheering for
any team that's playing Golden State.
Speaker 6 (19:44):
In the playoffs, Okay, I'll give you that one, But
I mean like they're like I root for them, man,
I mean it's a cool city and uh, I'm.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Rooting for sixteen years. I'm rooting for for Jordy. I
never meet Mike around because he was the world but
Jordy was really awesome. Dude. I want him to succeed.
So I'm rooting for And besides it like beat the
Warriors never like the Beam. It's they got a good thing.
(20:13):
And they got a bunch of players that you know,
Malik Monk has like yeah rebirth Right, which I like,
Saboni didn't play well and they still came out. They
got some shooters. They got some guy coming off the
bench that kids from Baylor, what's his name?
Speaker 6 (20:26):
They built like yeah, like him too. There's built yeah,
but he's built like like you know, and here here
I've kind of came in and you know, you.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
Gotta get rid of the headband head rough head looks
like it looks like uh he plays for the Tropical.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
Jack But they're they're fun to root for me and
they're good to root for. So there are teams I
am rooting specifically against in the playoffs and teams that
I'm rooting for.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
The West Western Conference is gonna be fun.
Speaker 6 (21:01):
It's gonna be a watch. Like I like the Nuggets,
the only.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
One to have that's the only series that you know
is that it's a clean Okay, the Nuggets probably, But
then Sons.
Speaker 10 (21:11):
Are you talking about it? The West specific the.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Western Sons, Clippers that can go either way. I could
go seven Hy continue to play the way he's playing.
That can go either way, Warriors Kings. The Warrior haven't
really shown that they can win on the road, and
and the Kings that that kind of team that they
don't believe in anything. Many playing with house money, right,
and then the thurs The other series is which one
(21:35):
oh the Lakers, the Lakers Grizzly that can go is
you know, they got Lebron and the Grizzlies don't. And
that's what we always conventional. And the longer that series goes,
the better for the Lakers.
Speaker 6 (21:49):
Totally. You got Lebron, And like, the Grizzlies are a
team that I've always rooted for, and now I really
don't root for them. They're they're they're they're they're kind
of jerks to be.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
I just got a bunch of guys that are just
rolling people the wrong way.
Speaker 6 (22:03):
Yeah, but you know what, if you're in Memphis, you
love because for that reason, you know what I mean. So,
but I'm still rooting for Memphis in that series because
I just cannot root for the Lakers right now. I can't.
I can't do it.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
And then on the East, in the on the Eastern Conference,
it's a little different because.
Speaker 6 (22:19):
You think God probably have two sweeps.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Yeah, it's funny how at least Saturday we were the
only home team to lose, and on Sunday the Nuggets
were the only home team to wink everybody else, So
it kind of changed.
Speaker 6 (22:33):
But I'm wondering, are there are the fans that lost
in their place? Are they coaches?
Speaker 13 (22:39):
Right?
Speaker 10 (22:39):
Are they firing coaches and gyms like our fans are?
Come on, guys, come on, fans get it. Also also, uh,
cheering for the Clippers a little bit more than the Suns.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Maybe all shot time more for the Clippers.
Speaker 10 (22:50):
Oh yeah, but also shot our old friend Madison Curly
work for the Suns now, sorry, work for the Clippers now, okay.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Why I'm rooting for them, but yeah, to work for
the Clip yeaheah.
Speaker 6 (22:59):
There's a lot of reasons I like Steve Balmer cracks.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
Me up, dude.
Speaker 10 (23:03):
Have you seen the Clippers mascot the condor?
Speaker 13 (23:08):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Yeah, they changed it, you know because they they when
when he bought the team, they changed like they put
the mascot in like like in the d L or
something and had some like a rebirth.
Speaker 10 (23:22):
Yeah, they needed to change their uniforms. That's for the
Clippers do Oh my god, those are the most.
Speaker 6 (23:27):
Horrible uniforms in the NBA. They didn't go boring terrible.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Now, you know, Celtics Hawks should be interesting.
Speaker 6 (23:38):
Should for meaning in what way?
Speaker 4 (23:41):
You know?
Speaker 6 (23:45):
Don't get one though, they'll get one. I think they'll
get one.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
Can you imagine that? Right before they right before the
series started, there was that rumor that the Hawks that
were open to three three Ray Young and he was
getting into arguments with the son of Nick mcmilland, who's
still in the coaching staff.
Speaker 6 (24:05):
That's really that great?
Speaker 10 (24:06):
Oh is that the guy that he was that he
was exchanging word with the plane?
Speaker 4 (24:09):
Yeah I didn't know that. I don't know, okay, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
And again you look at the Minnesota I mean they
had a guy punching the other guy out.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
And another guy punching the wall right right, I.
Speaker 6 (24:20):
Mean like when you look at it, when you look
at our table, it's like, calm down, man, you know
we're gonna we're gonna be.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Gobert made it made up for them behind the back
move though against the Pelicans. Go yeah right that that
was a big bucket guy. But that's what the reason.
That was the reason for the fight because uh, what's
his name? Eastern replay guy was telling him to get
to get a rebound and the other guy to get
a bucket and he does shooting slow mo. He does that.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (24:47):
I don't.
Speaker 10 (24:47):
I don't like what he did to Rudy Gobert, but
I do like him because he is he's that's a
great nickname.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
He moves in slow motion.
Speaker 10 (24:54):
He got into it last night with.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
He got yeah in like the middle, but then he apologized.
He was just frustrated and he went to apologize and
it was like a guy who never played.
Speaker 10 (25:04):
Oh no, jam it was Christian Braun, I think.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Yeah, the kid from Kansas, Yeah, yeh yeah, yeah he was.
He just got frustrated because they were getting they were
getting handed to.
Speaker 10 (25:12):
Them, and okay, you get anything else backled just a
question before we get out of here. Are you a
soccer fan yet?
Speaker 4 (25:17):
Am I what?
Speaker 10 (25:18):
A soccer fan yet?
Speaker 4 (25:19):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (25:19):
My god?
Speaker 5 (25:19):
No?
Speaker 2 (25:20):
No?
Speaker 4 (25:21):
Why not? Why are you a soccer got to work?
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Why should I be?
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Because it's a great thing to watch it.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
I'll tell you what. I'll watched the World Cup final
next time. How about that?
Speaker 4 (25:31):
You're going to You're going to a work up game
with me because you're going.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
To experience what that is?
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Grip?
Speaker 6 (25:41):
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Yeah, I don't know. You have to what what you
got with? Talker?
Speaker 6 (25:45):
Oh no, but I just he keeps trying to get
me to be a soccer fan, but I just can't
do it.
Speaker 10 (25:49):
Man.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
You know, Cleveland, I'm going to have a lady a
women's soccer.
Speaker 6 (25:54):
Team that's great like w w S. Really that's.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Oh, I hear that. And then and then we're gonna
get our next ML's next team to m hm.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
So SOCA is coming, baby, I don't know what to
say about that. I know I won't be Well.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
You part of socker part of the Twitter world. When
they were asking what the name of this of the
Brown Stadium should be?
Speaker 6 (26:17):
No, no, isn't it the Factory of Sadness?
Speaker 2 (26:21):
No?
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Well, the first Energy is not going to be the
sponsor any longer.
Speaker 6 (26:25):
They should just go with that. Then they should just
go with the Factory of Sadness. Make that the official name.
All right, we are going to be back with segment two,
and we're gonna have Kev's assistant coach, Greg Buckner coach.
Coach buck He's gonna tell us he hopefully he'll talk
some people off the ledge and.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
Uh and hopefully you bring somebody's name up.
Speaker 6 (26:48):
I'm not going to you can't say I'm not throwing
anybody into the bus.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Does he work for ESPN Radio Cleveland.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Does he know I'm not giving it that he has
in the Jay b Breath Bresler like, he's like an
assistant coach and I know the NBA team.
Speaker 6 (27:07):
We'll be right back.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Yeah, I gotta get names out of you.
Speaker 14 (27:13):
Hey, this is Madison Phillips, Senior manager of Digital Content
Strategy at the Cavaliers.
Speaker 5 (27:18):
And I don't even have enough time to listen to
the podcast.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
I listened to a little on this one.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
There's more of this said.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
I got two guns, one for the both of you.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
See, girl, there you go after this on Wine and
Gold Radio.
Speaker 12 (27:38):

to Damon Joe op the booby.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
Seventy three sixty seven Time out lad On Fred Pistons
have been booby trapped.
Speaker 10 (28:25):
Hey, this is Jared Allen and I have never and
will never listen to Wine and Gold Radio.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Now back to Wine and Gold Radio.
Speaker 6 (28:36):
That was delicious. Hey everybody, and welcome back to segment
two of Wine and Gold Radio.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
Wine and Gold Radio, and.
Speaker 6 (28:45):
We're joined by special guests Coach Greg Buckner assistant coach Uh.
I don't have to call you.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Buck, absolutely, that's what everybody calls me Buck.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
My wife and.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Even my kids called me Buck.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
She called you balkwen Man. No, no, I say a
couple of choice work we.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Probably can't get away with right now.
Speaker 6 (29:06):
Yeah, but thank you so much for joining us. We
did our first segment about all the noise that's out
there after Game one. There was so much. There's a
lot of panic around Cleveland. You know, we a lot
of fans have never seen playoffs. Not in this building,
nobody in this building, but out there. Are you able
to tune out the noise or do you never pay
attention to the noise?
Speaker 2 (29:28):
I pay attention to the noise.
Speaker 14 (29:29):
And you know, if you don't pay attention to the noise,
you don't know what's really going out there in the world.
So yes, I do pay attention normally, this time I
did not. The last couple of days, I kind of
focus in on what we can do better, and especially defensively,
so I before the playoffs started, I knew there was
some noise out there, to be honest, so I've listening
to them before, so I was only imagining that it
(29:50):
would be unbearable the couple of days after we lost,
so I tried to pay not watch ESPN, I listened
to the radio. I really didn't get the text from
a friend because they were telling me what we need
to do to I already know, bro, you know what
I mean. But you just got to regroup and focus
and understand. One of the things we talked about over
and over even before the playoffs toot that it is
a series, right, You're gonna lose a game, You're gonna
(30:12):
lose games at home, and in order to win series
you have to go on the road and win some games.
And we understand that now we gave one away, we
got to go win one or two in New York.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
And we know that we're capable doing that.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
You cannot leave me where I wanted to go with it,
because I don't think any as positive as we feel
about this season and this team in this building, there
was there wasn't one soul that thought we were gonna
win the series for all to begin with. But I'd
like to look at this as a glass has full
as opposed to have empty, because in the playoffs on
(30:42):
it is about getting better and doing things better or
correcting the mistakes from game from game one to another one.
And in the game in Game one, you know, we
probably played the most un cavalier basketball game that we
have in a while, losing the tornover battle, losing the
point in the paint bottle, the rebound, the bench and everything.
(31:02):
But still we have the lead with two minutes to go.
So what has been the message to the guys in
terms of just getting better for the next game.
Speaker 14 (31:09):
Well, I think you hit the nail on the head right, Like,
you know, turnovers, Like we only had fourteen turnals, but
they got twenty six points off of turnovers, you know,
I mean, like that's almost unheard of, especially in the
playoffs and offensive rebounds, seventeen offensive rebounds, like you know,
to be quite frank with you look for us to
be in the game and lose bout four. I think
giving up those many opportunities, you know.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
It's unbelievable to us. I think that's why we're so positive.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
We understand that.
Speaker 14 (31:32):
You know, they dominated us on the glass, don't get
me wrong, but they didn't dominate us throughout the game,
you know. I mean like they just made a little
more plays, being more physical than us. And they're older
than us, they've been through it. They understood what the
playoff atmosphere was. We may not necessarily understood that as
a group.
Speaker 4 (31:46):
Now we do.
Speaker 14 (31:47):
I think we'll respond and respond in a great way,
and almost positive they won't get seventeen offensive rebounds.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
I don't think you know the traps.
Speaker 14 (31:55):
In the pick and rolls of surprises this time like
they did in the first game and get those points today.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Got I thought we defended them pretty well.
Speaker 14 (32:02):
We knew their sets, we knew what they were going
to do, and and I think we'll be better game two, three, four, five, six.
I it takes FUS to win four, That's all that matters.
Speaker 5 (32:11):
I have.
Speaker 6 (32:12):
I've asked. I asked many stupid questions, but this might
be another one question that wait till after I asked again.
You played pro ball and you obviously be have the
league's best defense. How much how much does it matter
whether a guy is a righty or a lefty when
you're defending him.
Speaker 14 (32:31):
It doesn't matter if he's a radio or left. It
matters which way he prefers to go. Okay, you know
what I mean, because we've all seen like the name Litters,
he's alrighty that loves to go left. Like when you
go at him, you can't let him get left because
of trouble. So uh, but obviously there's some guys who's
left ended and wants to go left and vice versa.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
So you got to know which way they prefer to go,
and what is their go to move.
Speaker 14 (32:51):
What do they like to do when they catch on io,
situational when you close out, so you got to know
all those things that comes with studying.
Speaker 6 (32:58):
I just I've never seen a team where they're three
scorers are all lefties and then Hartenstein's a lefty as well, right,
and I didn't know if.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
They should be youth team and you know, from the
left right, I.
Speaker 6 (33:11):
Am on the left. Yeah, but I know, and I
wonder because again, I've never seen the team where all
their key players are lefties, and I just didn't know
if that was something that factors into your thinking or No.
Speaker 14 (33:22):
Yeah, it definitely factors until you keep thinking because you know,
there's not many left handed guys in the NBA period anyway,
and they happen to have four of those guys, and
you know, we'd like to prefer we like to push
some of those guys to their other hand and one
of the other guys he's a little bit better going
to his right and more effective going to his right.
So you know, it's just a matter of you know,
(33:43):
we got this analytic staff over here that knows all
those things, the charts, every shot they take, every drive
they take, so we know what they want to do.
Some might have been disciplined and taken away what they
want to do, especially at this time of year.
Speaker 4 (33:53):
Yeah, you know, going back to the Twitter world and
all the people jumping out the Twitter window. But there
are some things that need to be corrected.
Speaker 13 (34:02):
You know.
Speaker 4 (34:03):
I'm more amazed not about the I call it the
Browns syndrome here, when when just one laws means a
lot in football and not season in basketball or baseball.
But there are some things that people are forgetting for
for so long throughout this process, we have talked about growth.
We have beat the hell out of the world growth
and learning and everything right, and no one game where
(34:26):
everybody gets their feet wet and everybody forgets about anything
and anything I have to do with getting to see
these different type of basketball. One of the things I noticed,
and you you tell me if I'm if I'm right around,
but the next scene through experience to play at a
little different pace at the beginning of the game. I
don't know if that surprise our guys or if that's
(34:46):
something that they have planned just to just to bring
it a little like kind of punch first, right. I mean,
you've been around this a long time.
Speaker 14 (34:52):
You've been around playoff basketball, You've been around pre season
and regular season basketball, three completely different games, all the
same league, but three completely different games.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
And until you go through those steps, you don't understand.
Speaker 4 (35:03):
Now.
Speaker 14 (35:03):
I mean, Don's been through it with multiple years, and
you know Danny's been through it, but Danny obviously didn't play.
We got a couple verts been through it, and I
think Jay played, but the rest of our guys, our
court guys hadn't been in the playoffs. And you're right,
it was a different speed, it was a different force
to the game, a different part of physicality that they
brought to the game from the very beginning, because I
(35:24):
think they understood that we hadn't been through that process.
And yes, it took a quarter and a half maybe
for us to realize that, and then we woke up,
and then things changed a little bit for us, and
now we was chasing the most game and hopefully coming
out in that first first quarter and third quarter in
the second half, we'll be ready for that and and
things that go out way.
Speaker 6 (35:43):
Do you think it was good for the guys to
see another day of basketball, to see that, hey, home
teams lose, Veteran teams lose, that what happened was not
anything earth chattering, It was just it's one game. Do
you think maybe that helped out for some of the
young guys.
Speaker 14 (35:57):
Yeah, it did, but because I think, you know, well
we play Saturday and Sunday. You know, a couple guys
came and said, why why why aren't we upset? You
know what I mean, we just lost you know. I mean,
it's like, yeah, in NCAA turn you lose, get gone.
But right now, they still got to be this three
more times, you know what I mean. And veteran teams lose.
You see Milwaukee number one team in the NBA. I
think they're a number one team in the NBA. They
lost their first home game, you know what I mean.
(36:18):
So that's just part of the game. And you talk
about growth, right, you got to go through these processes
in order to be good at these process be able
to be good going through these things. And you got
to get smacked in the face a couple of times,
and you know we will. This won't be the first
and the last. I mean it was the first, but
it won't be the last slap in the face.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
And how do you.
Speaker 14 (36:35):
Respond if you want to be a championship team? Doesn't
happen overnight. I mean, you still got to win sixteen
regards of who you are.
Speaker 6 (36:41):
Do you remember your first trip to the playoffs?
Speaker 13 (36:43):
I do?
Speaker 6 (36:43):
And what were you like? Can you relate to these games?
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (36:46):
We was, uh it was going against stocking them alone,
to be honest.
Speaker 14 (36:52):
Yeah, it was on the tail end and the stocking
them alone era and I think actually we may have
started the process of retirement for those guys.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
But we went to Dallas. I was in Dallas, went
to Utah.
Speaker 14 (37:01):
Back then it was only five games, and you know,
those first two games, they beat the mess out of us,
and we won the last three games and one game
five in Utah and it was one of the loudest
places that I'd ever been involved in when it comes
to basketball.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
It was really loud, and those guys were physical.
Speaker 4 (37:18):
They was grown man.
Speaker 14 (37:19):
It was myself, Derk, Michael Finley, Steve Nash, Sean Brad
we were just babies and they just just outworked us
the first two games and we got home and game
three and I think we may have blow them out
or I can't remember exactly, but we fought and fault
and fault, got to a game seven and found a
way to win the game.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
That's just part of the growth. And next thing, you know, Dallas.
Speaker 14 (37:38):
I think Dallas went on like a fifteen year straight
playoff run like they and then finally they wanted But
you got to go through those those those steps in
order to get to where you want.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
To get to.
Speaker 6 (37:47):
But it took you getting smacked around first right to
understand what it's gonna be like, right.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
They's a great team about the playoffs. You'll get to reload.
Speaker 14 (37:53):
You get to reload, Yeah, and you get to reload
against the same team. You know what happened, you know,
I mean, you know what where you messed up. I'm
pretty sure they know where they took advantage of us
in Game one. We know everybody in the world knows
what happened. If you rebound the basketball as poorly as
we think we played in the beginning of the game,
and we probably still.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Had an opportunity to win.
Speaker 14 (38:13):
If you know, you get too off two defensive rebounds
in that fourth quarter late, you probably win the game.
Speaker 6 (38:17):
Exactly.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Let's go back to your your arrival of Cleveland, because
it took like a season and a half for us
to meet you. We knew Bok just through Zoom he
came in and that with Deer after the pandemic. That
weird was that for you to be in a new city.
Obviously you were in contact with the guy, which are
the ones you need to meet in contact with, but
(38:39):
like everybody else, basically shut out of the world and
it was just you guys. It wasn't in the bubble,
but it was some kind of ball that that your
career with the with the Cab started. It really was
a bubble.
Speaker 14 (38:50):
And it was even worse like off the court, like
because my kids were playing sports. My my two tins
were playing volleyball and my son was playing basketball, and
I couldn't go to their games. Like it was one
of those things like you cannot you got to go home,
practice facility, airport arena that was the fourth places I
could go to.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
And you know, it was tough.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
They were in a new city.
Speaker 14 (39:09):
I'm normally at all their games and you know, I
couldn't do those things and it was tough, and you know,
trying to get out into a place so which you've
never been, never Like we lived in Cleveland before, so
didn't get to explore the city.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
But you know, when you're in this world of basketball,
you still get to have friends.
Speaker 14 (39:23):
You still need to have people adults you can talk
to because you're spending so much time with each other.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
What's your favorite spot here? Like come on, look, you're
in Cleveland, are now they gotta be one of those spots.
Like it doesn't matter how many new places are and
you always end.
Speaker 14 (39:36):
Up and It's funny because me and my wife, you know,
we're so busy with the kids. We don't go out much,
but if we do, we normally go out to like
the Marble Room. Yeah, that's a good spot. She loves
that place.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
That was like, that was my Christmas dinner with my family.
You go broke if you keep going there.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Yeah, right, Christmas, my birthday, Yeah right.
Speaker 6 (40:00):
The coach, I want to ask you about something in general,
and it's kind of a topic that I've kind of
thought about for a long time, but it kind of
picked up steam yesterday because the injuries. What are your
thoughts on the charge rule? And you know, now it's
kind of a contrast you guy, guys jumping underneath guys.
Johannis got hurt yesterday. John Morant took a hard fall.
(40:22):
What are your thoughts on that play? People are talking
about they'd like to see that play outlaw, they'd like
to see the circle extended. What are your thoughts on that?
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Oh, that's tough maybe in a defensive.
Speaker 6 (40:31):
Guy, right right, It's very complicated.
Speaker 14 (40:35):
Yeah, I mean it's complicated, and I understand people fall
and get hurt and that's part of the game. But
I mean the offense has so so many advantages against
the defense anyway, and if you start taking that out
like goodness versus, what are you doing that? Yeah, we
just play five on oh like we do in the
pre game and stuff like that, and shoot around. So
you know, you got to do it right, you know.
I mean, I don't want gals going up underim illegally
(40:57):
as they already have launched in air.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Shouldn't be able to go up around.
Speaker 14 (41:01):
There probably should be a technical or something that way,
but I don't think you can outlaw that play.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
I mean, it's just a play that we as a
defensive group. You need that in order to take some
of these guys.
Speaker 4 (41:11):
I mean, already every rule is like loose for the field,
it's for the offensive player. Yeah, you know, because one
of the things that bothers me the most is how
the defender cannot even pretend to put his arm or
his hand on the waist. But but the offensive player
with the off hand pushing off. So it's already I mean,
(41:31):
do you do that for the jump shot? That's my solution.
Speaker 6 (41:36):
With When you talk to these young guys about what
to prepare for the playoffs, do you mentioned that the
officiating might be a little different and not to let
that get under your skin.
Speaker 14 (41:44):
Well, officiating in the playoffs is better, better, Okay, it's
the best referees. I mean it's not, you know, no
slight on the other referees, but you earn your way
to the playoffs by the way you referee in the
regular season. And these guys are to me, they're unbelievable.
A lot of guys hate referees, but I think they
get ninety nine percent of the calls right when you
go back and look at the replayers up. They got
that because they have a different They look at different
(42:07):
look at places differently than most of us do, and
and that's the way they're teaching them and they normally
get those calls right. But what you have to be
ready for, and what we spoke to them about is
the physicality. They will allow you to be physical. They
want the players to decide to gain, not them, And
it's not necessarily that way in the regular season, but.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
If that's something that they have to get used to,
like in baseball, that after a couple of innings you
kind of tell that the umpire is a little tight
on the side, a little little loose on the top.
You know, that's something that you get the guys got
to get used to. In the playoff, maybe they're a
little more contact, but not all contact. Maybe you know, yeah,
I think you gotta get used to it.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
But before the game, you got to come in with
the mindset that I'm going to be physical.
Speaker 14 (42:45):
Now, the part of it is like you got to
be able to back off if they're calling their calls, right, yeah,
but don't go in there kind of tiptoeing and being
a little soft and okay, well they're gonna let me
bump in.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
No go out there bumping.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
First, and then.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Somebody over with might not call it so and then
if they call it, then you kind of tell her back.
Speaker 14 (43:05):
And you know, you know, we can't have Donovan and
dg and coming in with three files in the first
quarter because they want to be physical.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
But you still can get away with a little more
physicality than you normally can.
Speaker 6 (43:14):
It's crazy how much the game has changed in that
the last time we played the next granted that was
in the nineties, the Cavs average seventy nine points seven
points per game. Wow, that that'd be a low total
for after three quarters.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Yeah, what did the next average.
Speaker 6 (43:27):
Yeah, you know that ninety points something. I mean, it
wasn't that much. Take ninety right, right right, it wasn't
that much. So let me ask you this real quick.
Did you watch playoffs most of the day yesterday and
or no?
Speaker 2 (43:39):
I did not know.
Speaker 14 (43:40):
I I like, I will watch the Bucks Miami series
because that's probably who we're getting next. Well that is
who were getting next, So you got to be ready
for that, just to be a little familiar with them.
But the rest of those guys we won't see for
a few weeks. And then you know, I'll watch a
lot and what I'm done playing, whether is we get
beat early or you know, whatever, it may happen, and
that's when I'll start watching when I'm out of it.
(44:02):
But right now I'm trying to, you know, focus over there.
Speaker 4 (44:05):
Do you watch that eleven o'clock game? And on a
normal I don't know how people stay up, bro.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
Like coach coach bigger staff got me doing so much film.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
You o'clock, I'm still looking at us.
Speaker 14 (44:22):
Yeah, the Lakers, who I don't know who's on the Lakers,
anybody that West Coast.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
I don't know who's on any of those teams. Those
bigger stuff works me to death.
Speaker 6 (44:29):
So we do knowing that you have a ton of
work to do today. What can we what can we
expect for a game two? What do you what do
you see?
Speaker 14 (44:38):
I will say they they won't get seventeen offensive refounds, Yeah,
I say that.
Speaker 4 (44:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (44:43):
I don't think we'll turn the ball over as much
as we did and allow them to be as efficient
off our turnovers as we did in game one.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
And I think we'll shoot the ball better.
Speaker 14 (44:54):
Yeah, I mean I think you know, most of our
guys were just new to this environment. I mean, how
rocking was the out. I mean, like our guys haven't
been a part of none like me. So the crowd
gets hype, they get hype, and then the shots all
over the place. I think they'll settle in. They'll make
more shots, more players. Evan Mobley will play one hundred
percent better. He'll make all those plays in the in
the paint, in the pocket like he normally does, like
(45:16):
he's done all year. So I think it will be
better and and and you know things will change, you know,
at the garden.
Speaker 4 (45:24):
But I also want to hear at the field house.
I wanted Spike Lee to walk out with his head down.
It was almost on the courtel Right, that's what he does.
Speaker 6 (45:32):
Yeah, I don't want him happy any point during the series. Again, right,
coach Buck, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (45:37):
Appreciate go Clemson. Yeah, absolutely, the only way to go.
Speaker 15 (45:44):
Hey, this is a mind crump entering the host for
your cleanand Cavaliers and I will never and the crump
means never listen to Winding Gold Radio.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
I mean, what.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
There's more of this?
Speaker 4 (46:02):
I said, Oh, can we sit out? He said why?
I said, I can't feel my left leg.
Speaker 3 (46:08):
After this. On Wine and Gold Radio.
Speaker 13 (46:17):
Everybody's voting for the friendly voice a radio, the people's
choice music users, sports and news. It's radio, the people choice,
everybody's singing voice a radio, the people's choice Big Price,
(46:37):
Hal Bye, gone to don It's radio.
Speaker 4 (46:41):
The turns of mining.
Speaker 10 (46:50):
Do you want to hear?
Speaker 4 (46:51):
It's a landslide?
Speaker 13 (46:54):
Body's diving in the smiling voice? Arady, I beg both
choice East Coast West Coast.
Speaker 4 (47:05):
Radio. Cru don't have a down.
Speaker 5 (47:28):
Hi, This is Kelsey Russo from the Athletic.
Speaker 13 (47:31):
I'd rather listen to Chris Fodor's podcast than Wine and
Gold Radio.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
No, back to your Wine and Gold Radio.
Speaker 10 (47:40):
Things are going to start happening to me.
Speaker 6 (47:43):
Now, everybody, welcome back to Segment three.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
Radio. I bet you, I bet you. Wine and Gold
Talk doesn't have a jingle.
Speaker 6 (47:52):
I'm sure they do and if they if they don't,
they can just till their roadies second for.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
They just have. I can't believe they don't have a
jingle in Hayden.
Speaker 6 (48:01):
Right, hang on, let's let's welcome our super special guest,
super Segment three and per.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
You're really going down from like balking.
Speaker 6 (48:11):
I know, I know, I respect the hell. I respect
the hell. I think he's the best beat reporter. If
what he says Cavs fans, that's what you should believe.
Speaker 4 (48:23):
I really they've been jumping up through the window.
Speaker 6 (48:25):
No, I don't know, and we're gonna get to that
in a second, but we do have to say that.
And then does Hayden have to sing you guys a
jingles have a jingle?
Speaker 4 (48:33):
He should?
Speaker 5 (48:33):
I mean, like he's got his own album and stuff.
Speaker 6 (48:36):
I mean Rafa sings our jingle. Way, Yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
Guess that's why they missed. They thought I was Hayden, right,
I'm Hayden's Hayden's Roady.
Speaker 5 (48:44):
So we feel to be our roadies feels it feels great.
Speaker 6 (48:47):
I one day I want to work up and get
my own podcast, but it's one of these days we
have to go back into. For those who don't know,
we did a show at the Food Bank a couple
of weeks ago. We Ralph and I went there. We
went there early, we even we even worked.
Speaker 10 (49:00):
We packed boxes for the for my seniors, for my
fellow my fellow seniors.
Speaker 6 (49:05):
We did all this work. But we got there. We
were setting up our equipment, and but.
Speaker 4 (49:09):
Only that we got there like an hour and a half, right,
make sure right.
Speaker 6 (49:13):
We were setting up and the woman that set us up,
very nice woman. She said, uh so when does the
the talent come? When does the talent?
Speaker 4 (49:24):
Wait?
Speaker 8 (49:25):
Wait?
Speaker 4 (49:25):
I thought it was like maybe she thought that the
guys that you know, seventy four cents and Counder were
coming from the chase down part right. I thought she
that maybe this one. I said, we're the only show coming.
She's like, when is Hayzen coming?
Speaker 12 (49:38):
Right?
Speaker 6 (49:38):
Yeah? I was like, he was like, he's liked hands
like a multimedia style and put all you do.
Speaker 4 (49:45):
Is but then I put Then I put one in
Goal and Talk and one on Gold Radio together I'm like, no,
you got the run show.
Speaker 5 (49:52):
Did you ever think about doing a different name for
your podcast?
Speaker 6 (49:55):
We had, you know, you change your name? We did,
We had you would change We're not changing ours.
Speaker 5 (50:01):
Wait, why would we have to change it?
Speaker 4 (50:03):
We have first because you just talking man, we're radio, yeah,
and we find gold. So going to rapis question you.
Speaker 6 (50:11):
I assume you are not jumping out the Twitter window
after Saturday night's game.
Speaker 4 (50:15):
No, I don't think so, there you go.
Speaker 5 (50:17):
You know, like, I've been through playoffs before, through the finals.
I covered this team back when Lebron was leading them
to four straight finals, and I think you understand that
playoffs are grind. Playoffs are about matchups. Playoffs are about
adjustments in game and between games. Playoffs it's the first
to four wins, it's not the first to one win.
(50:39):
I will say this though, like the one of the
advantages that the Cavs had coming in this series was
home court advantage, and they were a really good home
team throughout the course of the year. So having lost
that in Game one obviously makes it a little bit
tougher to see them coming through and winning the series,
because you thought it was going to be a very
close series, tightly contested, evenly matched teams, So you're looking
(51:04):
for like little things that could be a separator. I
thought home court advantage was going to be one of
those separators in favor of the Calves. Losing it in
Game one obviously stings, but.
Speaker 4 (51:14):
Then again everything could change in getting three.
Speaker 5 (51:16):
Absolutely right, yes.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
Assuming that tomorrow the Cabs are gonna take care of business,
because that's what you expect. My point of Twitter world,
and I know your job as a bit writer is
to bring your audience a whole different take than we
could be considered homers. We worked for the for the organization,
and you're proud to be right, Yeah, very proud and
a way we I would take bullet for my guys.
(51:40):
But from that to the point of what Twitter has gotten,
which is a lot of virtual gms and reaction, you know,
quickly overreacting in a way that it is one game. Yeah, Like,
if you're telling me that you're upset because the Calves
the Cavs lost the game and you thought they were
gonna sweep the Knicks, you're wrong to begin with. And also,
(52:03):
when when you look at the glass, either you want
to look at a half full or half empty I
mean the Cavs had such an uncavalier like game, losing
all the battles that they have been winning all the
season and still had the lead with two minutes to go.
Speaker 5 (52:17):
So, I mean it's a situation guys, where like teams, coaches, players, organizations,
general managers, they can't react on emotion, right. If you
start reacting based on emotion from a loss, from a win,
whatever the case may be, you're gonna start making foolish decisions.
Speaker 4 (52:36):
Maybe what happened to the Raptors when they bench. Who
was it that got benched the Roads or Lowry that
got bench in one of one of those series, is
that we were oh.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Yeah, they took them out of the starting lineup and
brought them off the bench.
Speaker 4 (52:47):
I think it was Lowry, Yeah, Lowry, one of the two.
I mean, that's when you thought you're changing who you are.
Speaker 6 (52:53):
Right Yeah? You got to stick with who you are
right now?
Speaker 2 (52:56):
Got you here?
Speaker 6 (52:57):
Yeah, exactly, Chris. You know, one of the times so
far in the show has been reaction over reaction, Twitter
jumping out the Twitter window. One of the other things
I admire about you is how cool you are on Twitter.
In that I would be going I would I would
lose my job after one day. But people come hard
at you, yeah, and you very calmly and thoughtfully respond.
Speaker 4 (53:19):
And I don't have the bonus.
Speaker 6 (53:21):
I don't have that bone in my body. I'm saying
I want to fight people the bone.
Speaker 4 (53:25):
I have the reply, the text from somebody at the officeite,
please take that exactly.
Speaker 6 (53:30):
How do you kind of keep your how do you
keep your cool?
Speaker 5 (53:32):
I don't know, Like I think it's kind of how
I'm wired. My wife actually makes comments about it all
the time. She's like, do you have emotion? Does anything
bother you in this world?
Speaker 4 (53:41):
Like?
Speaker 5 (53:41):
How are you so laid back and chill all the time?
And I don't know, Like I've always prided myself on
control the controllables. Yeah, I have no control over what
happens out there on the game, right. I have no
control over how my writing is going to be taken
by fans. I have no control over how they're going
to appreciate it or not appreciate the things that I
have to say. So I just say true to myself
(54:04):
and say what I truly believe, and if you like it,
you like it.
Speaker 4 (54:07):
If you don't have a problem, I say, I wish.
I wish I could. When I that's my problem. When
I say what I truly believe, that's when I get
in trouble because what we are talking about is your way,
the way you react. Because I don't have it, it
doesn't bother me. One of the good things that I have,
I say, one of the best qualities that I have
is that you can make fun of me. You could
say whatever you want about me. It don't mother me.
(54:29):
But that doesn't mean that I won't reply with something
just as severe or even more. And that's when I
get in told because I'm the one understand. We are
the one understand to lose more. Yes, because you and
your cap you can't get into your represent I always,
I always laugh about people on the profile that put
like you know, Joe Gabriel, opinions are mine, retweets are
(54:51):
not endorsement. I'm like, you know, what is your opinion
until the guy that is paying you to check like
your opinion exactly. So there's those such thing as my
opinions are mine? You know, I won't bother you.
Speaker 5 (55:03):
I started in radio, well, how long ago was it
at this point?
Speaker 10 (55:07):
Ten years ago?
Speaker 5 (55:08):
Yeah, ten years ago, and one of the first things
my mentor said to me was, no matter where you go,
no matter what you do, you represent this company. Like
your name is attached to this company. You are in
the public eye, you're speaking, you're speaking, you're out front
for them.
Speaker 4 (55:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (55:25):
And it's the same thing now, Like, even though opinions
are my own on Twitter and I'm my own person,
I represent Cleveland dot com in the plane Dealer with
everything that I do, with everything that I say. So
I can't cross that line. And I know that I
can't cross that line, and I know that I have
more to lose by responding the way that maybe I
(55:47):
would want to in certain moments.
Speaker 6 (55:49):
Is that the same genetic element that allows you to
eat like a horse?
Speaker 3 (55:52):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (55:54):
Have you ever seen a scar? I want to work
for the plane dealer man the part DM be right.
Speaker 6 (56:02):
He must spend his whole game on food.
Speaker 4 (56:05):
It's exactly right, Like four pounds of brisket before a game.
Speaker 5 (56:08):
I mean, I say to my son, who is now
sixteen month though Elliott, I say, look, Bud, like sit
here in your high chair and just enjoy the next
thirty minutes. Because eating is one of the greatest gifts
that you'll ever have in your life.
Speaker 4 (56:23):
I just love what do you in Miami? Where do
I go?
Speaker 10 (56:28):
Don't get him going because he'll yeah kidding me, run
through the list.
Speaker 4 (56:31):
No, no, no, I want to know. I want to
I could, cause I have my might have some recommendation.
Speaker 5 (56:35):
Yeah, give me a recommendation.
Speaker 4 (56:36):
You can give me what next series. Well, I'll give
you a recommendation. Check them around.
Speaker 5 (56:39):
I forget the name of the Italian spot that I
went to recently. There's a place in Miami called Shuckers
on the waterfront. It has the best wings that I've
ever had in my entire life. It's like attached to
a budget in or a comfort in and it's like
in the middle of nowhere, but it overlooks the water.
It is gorgeous. How I have absolutely no idea. I
(57:03):
think somebody that covers the heat told me. And that's
the thing with like all of us writers, we pay
it forward.
Speaker 6 (57:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (57:09):
I find places in New York and I'll tell Jason
Lloyd or Joe Varden or Kelsey Russo or something like that,
and then other people will find places in other cities
and they'll pass them to me. Then I'll pass them along.
Speaker 6 (57:21):
So, yeah, I have a couple for you too. We
can talk about it there. But there's a McDonald's on
eighteen Street Subway. You can get it right. You can
get a slamming gym when you go.
Speaker 4 (57:35):
When we go next round, you gotta go to Sucheriucery
in Miami. Now they open one near the hotel in Brickel,
but it's a it's a SOB sandwich place that is open,
maybe because I always had it like a three thirty
in the morning, three four in the morning, because it's
open basically all day. It's really like Monster Sandwiches.
Speaker 5 (57:55):
There was another place in Miami that I found. I
think it's called Versailles Versaiyas.
Speaker 4 (57:59):
Yeah, that's a cute one. Yeah yeah, But next time
I walked.
Speaker 5 (58:02):
In there and not a lot of people look like
me in there.
Speaker 4 (58:04):
No awesome, but you gotta go there. You gotta go
there when there's like a protest or something, because that's
like Maga Maga County. Oh really, so when there's like
when there's something going on in Cuba or something going
on with politics, you know, because Floyda is a swing
day basically not as much as Ohio, but you have
a lot of immigrants there that are like, you know,
(58:27):
it's not your.
Speaker 6 (58:28):
Type of it's not my type of caf.
Speaker 4 (58:31):
McDonald's. If you want to see the colt maga either
you want to you want to see the coltures crash clashing,
go doing doing.
Speaker 5 (58:41):
Joji when we were in Miami went to a pizza place, Rafa,
and he went and he had it and he thought
it was really good. And I said, what was the
name of it? He's like, I don't know. I just
walked out of the hotel and I turned left and
I walked in there and I was like, to learn
the name of this.
Speaker 6 (58:57):
I said, pizza place. I don't know. Eat the slice
in the window.
Speaker 4 (59:01):
And he had the sub weight beizza men.
Speaker 5 (59:04):
I said, I said, how did you find it? Did
you google map it? He's like, no, I walked out
of the hotel when I turned a couple.
Speaker 4 (59:10):
Of times and it was there.
Speaker 6 (59:12):
Hey, Chris, can you hold on one second? But we
do a legal lady, Yes, of course.
Speaker 5 (59:16):
This is jed Asman and you're listening to Wine and
Gold Radio.
Speaker 4 (59:19):
Get it.
Speaker 10 (59:21):
Cleveland, Ohio, America, Macedonia, Turkey, Istanbul.
Speaker 5 (59:28):
All right, let's get it.
Speaker 6 (59:30):
Baby, Okay, So Chris, I want to get your thoughts now.
Saturday night, obviously we played. I assume you watched playoffs yesterday.
I went, first of all, I want to get your
general impressions of the playoffs, and secondly, I want to ask,
did you happen to see the Doctor pimple Popper commercials
all day?
Speaker 4 (59:50):
Because it was all day?
Speaker 6 (59:51):
I would say, it ain't my sleep rafa.
Speaker 4 (59:53):
You didn't see it? Oh my god, are you getting
miss ray?
Speaker 6 (59:58):
But man, the doctor pimple Popper commercial was not all day.
Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
Oh, and it was usually the first commercial as soon
as they went right, So one of the worst.
Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
Thing that you, oh, target, we're gonna target. I don't know,
but it was.
Speaker 10 (01:00:14):
It was discussing like I literally had to turn away
the room.
Speaker 6 (01:00:18):
It was horrible. But anyway, aside from that, yeah, impressions
from uh, I guess the second day of NBA Playoffs.
Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
My biggest takeaway is that I just feel like this
league is as wide open as it's ever been. You
just don't have the dominant calves of the lebron era
in the Eastern Conference, where you said, I know every
single year they're going to turn it on in the
playoffs and they're probably gonna represent the East in the finals. Yep,
and you don't have the seventy three win dynastic Golden
(01:00:43):
State Warriors. I think there are multiple teams that could
come out of the Western Conference, and I think you
can say the same thing about the East. Like I
think Milwaukee, Boston, and Philly have separated themselves throughout the
course of this year, and they belong on a different
tier because they accomplished more or in the regular season
and they've seen more things together. They've been through things
together that some of these other teams haven't. But now
(01:01:06):
when you start introducing some of these injuries, John Memphis Giannis,
what's his status going to be moving forward? Jordan Poole
is dealing with an injury for the Golden State Warriors.
I just think it's so wide open that it's a
lot of fun this year because you don't know what
the outcome is going to be.
Speaker 6 (01:01:23):
Who do you like coming out of the West.
Speaker 4 (01:01:25):
I have absolutely no idea.
Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
Like I sit here and I say, guys, Golden State's
battle test, Golden State's gonna figure it out. Golden State
has this, this, this, and this, and then I say, well,
they just haven't done it at the same level. So like,
if we haven't seen it, why are we giving them
the benefitic out it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:44):
Gives it that they can win on the road. Man,
I mean, I have absolutely no idea. They are like
a completely different team.
Speaker 5 (01:01:50):
I don't know, I have no idea, Like they're a
team that you would think would be equipped to go
on the road and win anywhere, like sent through right,
it's not. I mean, Oracle was Oracle and cavernous.
Speaker 4 (01:02:06):
As could get home feel advantage.
Speaker 5 (01:02:09):
So I think Denver is probably the most complete team
in the Western Conference. And if Jamal Murray can get
back to the level that he showed in the bubble
before he tore up his knee, I think that team
becomes really really interesting in a seven game series.
Speaker 6 (01:02:26):
I'm looking at and any of those teams can win.
But yeah, I'm kind of looking at the winner of
the Sons Clippers the Sun's Clippers, because if the Clippers
get past them, they get Paul George back right, and
they and on the bench the best coach right now,
I'm looking at that series and see who comes out
(01:02:48):
of that and and that that might be the winner.
But I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
And like, look, Kawhi if he can be playoff Kawhi
the way that he was yesterday against Phoenix. I mean
he outdueled Booker, He outdueled Kevin Durant, Like that guy
in a playoff series is a problem and has been
a problem throughout his entire Come.
Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
You never invited Perro to my parents' home for if
he since he loves eating so much.
Speaker 5 (01:03:13):
That would be amazing. Why don't you invite me your parents?
Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
My dad said he won. My dad is already rooting
for a calvs. Kings finals so he can have a
whole day. So he can have a whole day of
you guys at the house heard about it.
Speaker 6 (01:03:29):
You love it? Oh my god?
Speaker 5 (01:03:30):
You know you on yeah, yeah, and you have my number,
use it.
Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
But he's probably you're never there, probably because we travel.
Speaker 5 (01:03:37):
I'm never there because we.
Speaker 4 (01:03:39):
Travel after the game or whatever. It is, like this
is the first time we've been there for this past
season in like three years. Because of that.
Speaker 5 (01:03:47):
I mean, I get to every city the day before,
just like you guys.
Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
Do every day. Then before somewhere and you you're run
for next season if you like a lot.
Speaker 6 (01:03:58):
He's making a ton of excuses.
Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
Just realized that, like if he loves eating. That's the
best place, Chris.
Speaker 6 (01:04:03):
It's it's the best.
Speaker 5 (01:04:04):
I would love it. I've got a place in second
even you couldn't.
Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
Like my mom is the cook on the cooking side.
My dad handled the be entertainment and the music. You
play any instruments, No, you play instruments when you.
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
Come Oh my god, I am.
Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
You've been giving an instrument.
Speaker 6 (01:04:24):
And then next time we play and Hayden can sing
along with your dad.
Speaker 5 (01:04:31):
We call him Hayden Grove, kind of like Michael du Blair,
so he can he can handle that.
Speaker 4 (01:04:38):
Way was one of the coolest things I saw on
Twitter this year, Michael Blake calling him out and that
was I mean, I'm sure that meant that the world
to him, but that was as idol though it's cool.
Speaker 6 (01:04:50):
That was cool. So now the next thing is when
do we get to be on your podcast after we
get done setting it up, after doing all work, and.
Speaker 10 (01:05:01):
Are you guys talent like you guys talent like.
Speaker 5 (01:05:11):
White chocolate Mocha.
Speaker 4 (01:05:14):
Sold he can do garl before he goes in the air.
Speaker 6 (01:05:18):
Chris, what do you expect for Game two?
Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
So this is the hard thing because I think every
team in the NBA has flaws, right, Like Milwaukee has flaws,
Boston has flaws, and we've talked about how great those
teams are. He can say the same thing about the
teams out West New York. Exposed a lot of the
Cavs flaws in Game one. That was my big takeaway.
Like the things that the Calves showed that were problematic
throughout the course of the regular season a week bench,
(01:05:43):
the lack of a two way wing, offensive rebounding was
a problem, bigs who at times can get out muscled, inexperience,
all of that showed up in Game one. And obviously
those are things that the Knicks have an advantage on.
They're one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league.
Mitchell Robinson is the best offensive rebounder in the league.
(01:06:06):
Isaiah Hartenstein is top ten in offensive rebound rate. So, like,
that's going to be a problem for the Caves. The
offensive rebounding is going to continue to be a problem,
but they just have to make it so it's not
as much of a disparity, it's not as glaring of
a weakness, like Josh hart cannot by himself outscore the
entire Calves bench. Yeah, like that can't have it. You
(01:06:26):
got to get something more from Lavert or something more
from Ricky Rubio, whoever it is that JB is going
to go to. So I think there are areas where
obviously the Calves can get better and play better, but
there are also areas where the Calves weaknesses are the
Knicks strength, and that can be problematic in a seven
game series.
Speaker 6 (01:06:46):
Josh Hart, I mean, if you were going to grade
trade deadline deals, oh my god, that's an A plus,
you'd almost have to.
Speaker 10 (01:06:53):
He changed that completely changed the team.
Speaker 5 (01:06:56):
They went on a nine game winning streak as soon
as he got there. They were seventeen and eight with
him in the lineup. Toughness that Yeah, he's just the
kind of guy that you want in a playoffs series.
He does things that impact winning at a high level.
You know, the Cavs tried. They tried to get Josh
Hart this past trade deadline. They tried to get him
last year, they tried to get him a couple of
(01:07:18):
years ago. Like the Calves have liked him for a
long time, and you can understand why. He looks like
a Tom Thibodeau JB. Bickerstaff type player, you know what
I mean? So he's a problem. But he's also uncertain
to play in game two because he landed awkwardly on
his ankle and he was hobbled at the end of
the game. So if he's limited or not as effective
(01:07:38):
as what he was in game one, that all of
a sudden brings the two teams and their bench a
little bit close.
Speaker 6 (01:07:44):
Agreed. Agreed, Hey, Chris, can you hang around for thank yous?
I know that you and Hayden probably thank anybody. Well,
you don't think anybody. We just signed off, right, you
guys just say goodbye. But as you can see, our
operation requires a cast of a thousands. Sometimes we have
to say thank yous at the end of ours. And
we always think, first of all the pr department run
(01:08:04):
by bj Evans, who's he runs it, as you know,
with the iron fists, with the iron fist, and somebody
is about to catch the iron fist after practice today.
By the way, I did see that, okay, so somebody's
about to.
Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
Feel didn't see that. By the way, he didn't know
who he.
Speaker 6 (01:08:21):
Was and the wolf and I rated him right out,
did you really? Yeah, you did a total pigeon, So
we have to thank obviously Owens who was fantastic right
to Charome's great.
Speaker 5 (01:08:37):
Any step that I need, I text him right away
and he got it.
Speaker 6 (01:08:40):
I'm here, right here, exactly slinging. Sammy the young guy
who blew his Brookie of the Year, he was Rookie
of the Year, and then we found out it was
a third year guy. It was like, uh yeah, it
was like Millie Vanilly. He was pulling it over. And
then Devin Booker, who eventually won Room of the Year,
the real Devin Booker. We have to thank Boo Banks.
You probably don't know, okay, we have to think our
(01:09:01):
special guest coach Buck and Perro is actually an incredible bowler.
Speaker 5 (01:09:09):
I found that out Varsity letterman, Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:09:15):
In Orlando.
Speaker 6 (01:09:16):
And he's probably a hell of a golfer too, I've
heard I didn't see, but I'm sure he is. Are
you a better golfer a better bowler?
Speaker 5 (01:09:21):
Right now? I'm a better golfer because I do that
more frequently than bowling. Back in the day, I was
a better bowler than golfer.
Speaker 6 (01:09:28):
I'm converting to lefty golfer this summer. I'm gonna kick
everybody's ass.
Speaker 5 (01:09:33):
I think, why were you golfing righty. It was just easier.
Speaker 6 (01:09:36):
Well know, when I was a kid, my dad wouldn't
buy me left handed club so I just learned on
right handed clubs. But now I'm making switch, Chris, and
it's over for all you guys. You're doomed.
Speaker 4 (01:09:45):
Joe Fritchan I know him.
Speaker 6 (01:09:47):
You know Joe Frichan, Joe prichand one of the best,
right Lucy Veris do you know Lucy the best?
Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
Did she change her last name?
Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
She used to be Lucy I do the d used
to be the social media I know. So she's one
of the best. We call her the best female human
in Cleveland only because the best male human in Cleveland
is that he.
Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
Shows Blue Guy, the glue guy, the guy that you're welcome,
Not you, Chris.
Speaker 6 (01:10:14):
We're talking about d Mac. Do you know d Mac?
Speaker 5 (01:10:16):
I do, of course and great guy.
Speaker 6 (01:10:19):
See there you go, man rop here in the way.
You know he's not at the door, but come on,
who is really? So we have to thank and the
dynamic duo of Dirty Kurt and Marty Allen might be
the guy, my beday guy. We get to New York,
I'm gonna be I'm gonna be the day guy. Myself
and I may call Marty for some tips because I've
never used one. There's got to be it's New York
(01:10:40):
and it's an international city. There's got to be one,
does it New York have exactly? So we will be
back maybe in New York, maybe a week from now,
but definitely before the series is over. And as always,
good night, pretty Mac.
Speaker 4 (01:10:55):
Where you are like, it's about developers, don't look at

Speaker 15 (01:11:09):

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):

Speaker 13 (01:11:19):
Five second half out the window and go on a run.
Speaker 6 (01:11:22):

Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
