Speaker 1 (00:06):
Hi again, everybody, and welcome to the From the Podium Podcast,
all of the podiums from the day's practice here at
the Cross Country Mortgage Campus. I'm Jason Gibbs, and we
are wrapping up training camp practice number four on this Saturday,
the twenty sixth of July. It happens sometimes you lose
(00:29):
track of the days based on what happens during training camp.
The heat of the day. It was another hot one
here on the campus and the team out to an
early morning practice at nine thirty am. Done for the
day around ten forty five. Coming up today on From
the Podium Podcast, you will hear from Pro Bowl wide
(00:50):
receiver Jerry Judy. You will also hear from head coach
Kevin Stefanski, and you will also hear from safety Grant Delpit.
Kicking thing off today, the head coach of your Cleveland Browns,
Kevin Stefanski, previewing practice number four and recapping Friday's.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Practice, said, no update, he'll be out here today, So
I think we dodged a bullet there.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
What about Kevin Jenkins.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Tony Bryn, Yeah, both still working through it right now.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Won't be doing much today.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
I don't think anything.
Speaker 6 (01:27):
Major had even challenged anybody there's a leadership the phone
and jacksons he's plays.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
On the on the field.
Speaker 6 (01:38):
If that's league challenged anybody to you know, sort of
take on that role as anybody stepped up on.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Yeah, I think it's early.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Certainly, every football team is different every team year to year,
you have different leaders emerge, guys are at different parts
of their career. So I think it's early for the
football team to say exactly where that is. You're right,
Jordan was a vet, you know, a guy that we
were lied a lot on in a bunch of different areas.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
So that remains to be seen.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
And yeah, of course you nudge some young guys and
some people to take on those things organically, but I
think it's early to see where that goes.
Speaker 7 (02:11):
Kevin, what about Jerome and Mike Woods.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Won't be practicing today, But like I said, progressing nicely.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
With Jerry. What's the next step for him? I mean,
obviously had a huge your career your last.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Year, but what's the next step for him?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, Jerry's done a great job, obviously on the heels
of a really successful first season, but he's had a
very good offseason. It was healthy practicing and has a
very good understanding now of our system, our scheme, how
how he fits in. I've mentioned this before. Jerry's very,
very intelligent, so there's no shortage of where you can
(02:53):
line him up, what you can move him around to do.
So I've been really pleased with all all the things
that Jerry's doing. I think, you know, to to the
earlier question, I think he's taking on a a leadership.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Role as well now.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
That he's in whatever year this is for him, and
it's a younger receiving room, so I think he can
provide leadership to those guys as well.
Speaker 8 (03:11):
When you puddle up tomorrow with Bill and Tommy and
over pensive quarterback stuff, when we show back up on Monday,
do you think there will be a discernible difference in
what you guys have going.
Speaker 9 (03:22):
On or.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Uh, yeah, it remains to be seen.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Mary Kay, I think you know there's a we still
need to wrap everybody and get everybody ready for the preseason,
for the season. So I want to get through today's
practice and and take in all the information, see how
guys are performing at all positions, and then then that's.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
When we kind of get into the uh nitty graddy.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Of who's going where and with what groups. But I
can't promise you anything. On Monday, we'll see how it looks.
Any signs of those receivers getting over taxed after only
three days from the start running, I know, I think
the guys are doing a really nice job. I think
that's definitely part of our job, Tony. With this being
day you know, four of a four day block, you
(04:05):
gotta be careful and make sure you're asking you guys
uh to do things that that you're not over taxing them.
For instance, we'll be in the red zone a good
bit today. We did one on ones on the twenty
yard line yesterday so as to save their legs. So
trying to be as smart as you can be about
saving legs early, knowing that you have a a you know,
a big block of practices next week as well.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
How was your first one on one day? It was
that's kind of unusual. Should you wait for three days
to do that?
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Well, you're just in helmets those first two days.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
So again, those you get those shells on them, you
can't put them on till day three.
Speaker 7 (04:41):
You had it yesterday A back eleven on eleven of
the ball period at the end, it seems to work
with some of the twos and Freeze mixed it.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
And what did you guys think of that period?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
For him specific Uh?
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Yeah, for those guys specifically, I thought there was some good.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Obviously, we need to clean up a lot of things
on both sides of the ball. We had too many
uh jumping off sides flinching on the offensive side. So uh,
we have these officials out here. That's probably the main
focus of uh for our guys, especially today. But yeah,
I thought there's guys some good and some bad, like
like most training camp practices.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
Kevin, what was your first exposure to sweatsage or in
the in the draft season?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Was it the Senior Bowl or combine? It was Senior Bowl?
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Uh. Around that time is when I start putting my
scout head on and his name was coming up, and
I remember putting on the tape early and then obviously
spent some time with him down at the combine.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
Do you do you know where the exception that the
Brohn's interested him was.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I mean, before you got on a scouting trail like that,
was there?
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Great?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Did you ever relate like how did how did we good? Question?
Speaker 8 (05:44):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (05:44):
I don't remember. I mean, I remember watching.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Him for the first time when you put the tape on,
but I don't remember when that was r I don't
got at the combine. Yeah, I'm sure we from the
Browns met with him the Senior Bowl, but I met
with him at the combin.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
Give you watch, Brack because in you know, the offense
looks like they're just trying to, you know, find their
footing or not a lot of completed passers, not a
lot of touchdowns in the red zone. Drill what are
you looking for when you go back in the film
room and your you and your coaches are breaking it down.
You know with the players, is is the emphasis on
the results or are we reading too much into the results?
(06:21):
And it's more about the process of what you guys
are just trying.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
To do and want well.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
You know, when you go out to practice the it's
everything's competitive. So offensive guys want to have success, defensive
guys want to have success. Sometimes it goes back and
forth in a practice. It's hard when you're not in
pads yet to get a full picture of what that
success maybe looks like. But we're not in the mode
(06:50):
while we compete every single day. We're in the mode
of teaching and learning right now on both sides of
the ball, So I'm pleased with the effort. It's not
as clean as it needs to be on both sides.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Of the ball.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
You know, he missed Paula camp last year, so how
nice it important is it to see him out day?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Would it looks like he's making plays?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, it looks really healthy making plays. I think our
coverage really in the back end has been sticky. I
think a bunch of guys have done a nice job.
Uh again, we probably have to clean up our hands
at the top of some of these routes in.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Terms of grabbing.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
But by and large, I think our guys have a
real good understanding and and Greg in particular, good to
have him out there because I think he's another vocal guy,
a guy that brings juice to to the defense.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
Do you think it's important for him not to just
be a quote unquote nickel guy that he takes some
reps on the out.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, he's he's a good football player, you know. I
know sometimes he's finds himself inside more than outside, but
we like having him around the action. I think he
can excel in a bunch of different areas.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
What's the next.
Speaker 6 (08:00):
Possible for the next step.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yeah, I think you know, Grant's obviously a guy that
we believe in.
Speaker 9 (08:06):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
You know you you you.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Give those contracts of guys that fit who you are
and and Grant is a physical football player, Uh fits
our scheme really well.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
And then as you.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Get older in your career, kind of like we were talking
about earlier, Uh, leadership emerges and and the the nice
part about Grant and what I appreciate about Grant is
he's the same guy every day.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
He's very, very authentic the way he leads.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
But yeah, h how that evolves as as he gets
into the year four?
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Is this or five? Uh, that that'll start to show itself.
For the next couple of weeks. These guys are.
Speaker 8 (08:37):
Pads for the first times and would take a day
fild as many bad days as you're possibly.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yes, Uh, so we'll be in pads on Monday and
then y you can be in pads. I believe the
rules you can't be in three days in a row,
so well we'll be smart about it.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
But I do think that it's an important next step
for the team.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Totally there is, But I I don't know that.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah, there is.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
It's not like the old days to any Harold. Just
the growth you've seen out of so farber can you
where can you go.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
The Yeah again three days into practice, but he was
here with the rookies early and just off of that
offseason program in the spring. You know, a young player.
I think he just turned twenty one maybe, but a
young developing player. Like we talked about the reason we
identified Harold in the draft, and I thought they did
(09:31):
a great job at Bowling Green, how they used them.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
They really lined them up all over.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
And that's something that you can only do with being
intelligent and working very hard. So we're putting a lot
on his plate asking him to play multiple positions, and
playing multiple positions mean you're gonna have multiple jobs, and
he's handled all of it really well.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Dated just the injuries last year. How do you think.
Speaker 7 (09:50):
He has like bounced back from that and then coming
into this year.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
WI.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, he feels healthy, which is so important for him,
and obviously he's when healthy, he's a huge part of
what we do.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Uh So I'm excited for him to maintain you.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Know that, and practice really hard and provide the leadership
that he always does. Kevin, you don't think a linebacker
has been much of a cebree or position generally and
physical and all that.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
But you think of Luke Keakley and even the former
ground play matters, there are very cerebral players. And Swessinger
comes off as that, is that an attraction to the.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Standard, Well, I would, I would say linebacker down the
middle of your defense, Tony, I think you do have
a lot of cerebral players, whether it's the safeties or
the middle linebackers here at the nerve center of everything
we do defensively. So, uh, you do have to be intelligent.
You do have to have great understanding of football because
you're typically getting guys lined up, you're making calls, you're
(10:49):
making adjustments.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
And and Carson has that ability, like you mentioned.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
I mean, he's a cerebral kid, but it is football,
so that the physical aspect of it is not too
far from the evaluation either.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Good, Okay, thank you guys, I appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Up next, it's safety Grant Delpit. His expectations for this
coming year are big and he thinks this could be
a very big year, not just for the defense but
for him personally.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
As well when you look back to last year, you
maybe we're talking about the taking places in the lack.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Yeah, could you pinpoint it, like, I mean, one thing
or a couple of reasons why it seems like you
guys weren't able to accomplish it quite like he did
the year before.
Speaker 10 (11:27):
I mean, and I would say that we we didn't
come up with a few, and I know for sure
I dropped one in the end zone, but feel like
d balls coming down with the ball, contested contested catches
type things. You know you can't control the ones at
the quarterback throw right to you because you know it's
either gonna happen or don't.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
But at the end of the day, you know you
gotta come up.
Speaker 10 (11:48):
With the contested catches, get the offense back to the
ball and know it's a team sport man that could
do a lot for office morale in confidence, great down.
Speaker 11 (11:55):
The lines of the things up this year and obviously
retired yesterday.
Speaker 6 (12:02):
Yeah, how much how much do you feel he needs
to sort of he's your big.
Speaker 11 (12:09):
Voice in the defensive Yeah, so just being that guy
and racing that.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
A little bit through a little bit more.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, you kind of get the feel like you have
to do some what do you does that?
Speaker 10 (12:17):
Yeah, I mean, first shot to Jordan Man a credible career,
great person as off the field as he was on
the field.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
You know, I wishing nothing but the best.
Speaker 10 (12:27):
But you know, next guy up, I think that we
have a very strong line backer room. I'm uh, I'm
you know, thoroughly impressed with Carson the way he's just
coming here and really being about his business. He he's
not the loudest in the room, but he's he's very direct.
You know, guys like Mood and all those guys knowing
that three Mike Will and you know.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
All all three positions in the backer.
Speaker 10 (12:51):
So I'm excited for those guys step up, make some players.
But you know, I told us for us, I would
be the green dot if you want me too, So
he knows that.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
So yeah, you know, next guy, how.
Speaker 8 (13:00):
Would you discriby your leadership style?
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Like, is are you more vocal leader? Are you more yeah,
trying to buy by your actions? And how would you
describe that?
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (13:08):
I think it's kind of hard to describe myself. I
feel like you gotta ask somebody else, But I don't know, man,
I think I it depends on the day, depends on
if it's Monday or Friday.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
Ever, Gay, do you guys have some kind of a
contests that are you going on, Yeah, the dB room
to get these takeaways and.
Speaker 10 (13:24):
These in yourself a contest? Sh I don't know, I
don't we gotta. I think we got a contest of
locking him up. Uh, you know every time he come
across the field, you know, a guy on my mind
that to let him know what's up.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
But I just I don't think it's a contest really.
I think it's just.
Speaker 10 (13:44):
Asserting yourself as far as being a guy who who
who the ball finds? You know, I think that's a
I think that that's a that's a that's a big deal.
Like you see who just retired the honey Badger? The
ball always seem to find the honey Badger man there
and just going back to there's college days, uh, twenty
fourteen Arizona day. It's twenty fifteen Arizona. I've been watching
a lot of his tape. So just being one of
(14:06):
those guys at the the ball just seem like a
ball man.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
How do you aster that?
Speaker 8 (14:11):
How do you make that happen?
Speaker 3 (14:12):
I don't Yeah, can you play. No, I don't think
that's just any you know answer to.
Speaker 10 (14:18):
That, like ass like a secret Carabby Patty formula to
get interceptions and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
But it's just about being in the right place. How
do you think your first fatility last year?
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Were you go light safety you know in the box
or how y'all.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Just do held with all these in the paces you know.
Speaker 9 (14:33):
In the in the position in terms of helping the
matter lose g.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Yeah, uh sh like I do it all man like.
Speaker 10 (14:43):
MLB hockey anything, so an't run on the football field.
I think that's cool to be able to uh fit
in and be comfortable. And I think that gives God's
confidence as well. If they see me doing everything, they
know that they could do it.
Speaker 8 (14:57):
Also, it's judicial challenge you to get more interceptions or
just finding that within yourself.
Speaker 10 (15:04):
I mean, I don't think it needs to come from
the DC to see that we need to have more takeaways. Good, hey, good.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Finally, today, wide receiver Jerry Judy, the pro bowler, takes
to the podium for the first time here in training camp,
talking about the expectations he has for himself and this offense.
In twenty twenty five, Jerry.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Last year, you guy.
Speaker 11 (15:25):
Here obviously a Mariners part of this team, and you
talked about like, you know, just taking his brain, learned a.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Lot from him.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
But this year different dynamic.
Speaker 11 (15:34):
Aside from Deontay, you're one of you older guys in
the room, more experienced guys.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Just how much does how much do you.
Speaker 11 (15:41):
Feels kind of on your plate to to sort of
race that leadership, especially that wide.
Speaker 12 (15:44):
Receiver, And you know, I do the best I can
to you know, respond and ask the question that a
young guys need help with. You know, I'm always a
helping hand to all the young guys and the guy
that even though old, that come up and asks me
questions about how I run certain rosson high do this.
You know, I'm always doing whatever to help the team
grow in get better.
Speaker 11 (16:05):
I know you're not like if you're not here to
be like a mentor or say Joe Joe Flack, let's
talk about that.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
A little bit.
Speaker 6 (16:11):
But do you feel a little bit of like the
responsibility of you to do that for this growup that.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Sort of metro those young guys a little bit?
Speaker 10 (16:17):
Nah?
Speaker 12 (16:17):
I just like to help guys and you feel like
it just they could add a little a little knick
to they game to get better.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
You know.
Speaker 12 (16:24):
I I happy to be that guy that just to
inform them, like do this a little bit better and
do this you call it a little bit more separation.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
You know.
Speaker 12 (16:31):
I'm just here to help any way possible to make
the team the team better.
Speaker 8 (16:35):
Youreious, it seems like the the Lakes are really stranging
to come on for can Have you noticed a difference
from spring ball to now became the apter the camp
and just in terms of efficiency and.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
How you use more relationships.
Speaker 12 (16:47):
Yeah, Uh, I think it just knowing the place. He's
just a lot more confident, you know, being able to
have him reps during OTAs during any camp. Now during camp,
you know, it just come natural to him, So he
had a lot more confident out there.
Speaker 7 (17:00):
Jerry, what has it been like these first handful of practices.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
With this quarterback battle going on and and all four.
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Of those guys and seeing them compete from that starting job.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Nah, it's been great.
Speaker 12 (17:10):
You know, I've seen them guys getting better each day.
You know, they they working towards they goals, working hard,
you know, and and doing what they supposed to do
on the field and off the field. To become, be
be better than it was the day before. You know, Yeah,
that's it.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
And in the in the spring when.
Speaker 7 (17:25):
We talked to you, you were so complimentary of catching those passes.
Speaker 9 (17:30):
And Dada Mari the Burke ring about it's like poetry
in motion.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Just what has that been.
Speaker 9 (17:34):
Like to continue to get out there with him and get.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Used to his time.
Speaker 12 (17:38):
You know, it been fun, you know, you know Joe
being leave for a long time obviously, you know, so
you know where to put the balls, you know how
to how to receive us like like the balls, and
you know, may.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
We just he throw a great ball for sure?
Speaker 9 (17:50):
Jerry just yeah, just just having a four bad quarterback
composition complicated all your preparation and the offenses preparation for
the upcoming season, and you feel like there's plenty of
time to kind of sort that out.
Speaker 7 (18:05):
And ha and and still have enough time to get.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Ready for some time or seven.
Speaker 12 (18:08):
Yeah, like you said that, there's there's more than enough time.
You know what this is on the day four, But
we got thirty to forty days l left to to
the real season, so we got more than enough time,
you know.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
And that for me, i'm'a just keep doing me.
Speaker 12 (18:20):
Like I always say, just get make the job easier
for the quarterback, and that's to to get open and
cost separa create separation.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
You trar it around.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
Uh you sort of raise your head or give your
input on this quarterback competition and the chips are down
and they're trying.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
To make a decision.
Speaker 8 (18:40):
Uh, will you kind of say, gay, I think your
sky needs.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
To be the guys. I mean, I mean that's my
that'm that's not my place. But I mean they ask me.
Speaker 12 (18:49):
I'll get my opinion for sure, but that's not my
place to answer.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Uh. I'm'a let the coaches make the decision on that.
Speaker 5 (18:54):
It seems like, guy, if I had your quarterbacks, you're good
like that back shoulder bro.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Yeah. Wow.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Is it take getting used to whacko do to to
know that's coming?
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Or do you think you're up to speeding with him? Nah?
Speaker 12 (19:08):
I'm pretty up to speed. You know, as a receiver,
you all dot I know how to adjust. You know,
that's part of the game, you know. Uh, Joe Flack
will do a good job with like we know now
we know like Joe Flackell love throwing them back shoulders,
so we know we gotta adjust to that and just
be prepared when that when that throw comes.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Jerry, how do you make sure with all the discourse
going around, especially with the Browns.
Speaker 7 (19:27):
And I guess other teams will take how do you
make sure that your mentality stays in on the right
path that you just focused course in the season.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yeah, like you said, I just focus on the season.
Speaker 12 (19:37):
I've just focused on me and this team on getting
better each and every day.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
You know, you can't really focus too much on the outsiders.
Speaker 12 (19:42):
You know, you just gotta focus within it, inside the
building and focus on what we gotta do to be
the best team this year.
Speaker 8 (19:49):
What do you think about the receiving or Chap and
I so good receiving course course when your day?
Speaker 4 (19:56):
What do you think of of.
Speaker 12 (19:57):
This one in the in the talent that you got town,
I think we got a talented group of gods. You know,
everybody good at you know, they niche and great at
what they do.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
You know, pretty young, you know that's the best thing.
Speaker 12 (20:08):
So everybody young and healthy, you know, and uh enjoy
getting better each each day. You know, I feel like
everybody been working hard and you know they're doing they
thing funcing off that.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
How what have you seen from Luke.
Speaker 11 (20:20):
Cloria so far?
Speaker 3 (20:21):
You said, again, Luke Cloria, what have you seen from
Ben so far?
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (20:24):
He been doing good, man, he been doing his thing. Man. Uh,
come out here and practice every day, you know, been
doing a thing.
Speaker 11 (20:30):
You're I don't know, I don't know how much you
pay an attention to it. But the NFL alw's your
releases like they're on top of under players. Just you know,
your you and your peers who were going on and
yeah you were, you were on all the lists. You
made them lists after the great season you had last year. Yeah,
what does that mean to you? To know what your
peers respects you, to have a level with them.
Speaker 12 (20:48):
At trying to tell him it's been a lie, you know.
I Other than you know, being able to be ranked
with with mons, your peers, the people that actually watch
the film, watch the tape, and that you are a
practicing and play against you know it. It means a
lot to be able to be recognized as one of
the top guys in the league, you know.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
And yeah, I'm I'm very thankful of it.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
Obviously, you want the team to win, but do you
have any personal.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Goals of the season? My personal goal. I w I
just wanna be better than I.
Speaker 12 (21:13):
Was last year, you know, and and I just wanna
win while doing it.
Speaker 8 (21:17):
So, I mean last year was such a special year,
your first one past months from your first pro bow.
From what you see out here, what are these guys?
Do you feel like you can either madge or exceed
that performance?
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Yeah? For sure. Uh.
Speaker 12 (21:29):
Every year, I'm always think and believe that I could
always be better than a year prior. You know, Uh,
I worked ta I worked hard towards that during the
off season and even during the season. So hopefully that happens.
And you know, I I got extreme confidence that will happen.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
Jerry, Uh, I know he's not in your your specific
position room, but the Arrow fan.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
What if you just seen out of him.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
You know, since you know, since you've been around it
and there both in the off season program at and
you know, these first couple of.
Speaker 12 (21:55):
Days of training, I've seen a guy that's ready to work,
you know, ready to learn and ready to become great
each and every day. You know, that's all he could
ask for, That's all he could do. So you know,
UH close to him on coming in here and just
working hard to become the best player he could be
sure doing.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Doing against the secondary every day, especially a guy like
that's all but part two great?
Speaker 4 (22:14):
And what are you seeing out of that? Just how
how good do you think they could be against this year?
Speaker 12 (22:19):
You know, the the sky's limit for our secondary for real,
you know, going against them, you know, I, it's I.
It's it's a it's a challenge during practice. So you
know there's there's not too much top guys in their
position that I could go against every day in practice.
You know, that really challenged me every day, So when
it comes to game day it should be a lot
easier for sure.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
What what makes THEMS out so cool?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Is it technical?
Speaker 9 (22:42):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Like?
Speaker 3 (22:42):
What is it? Yeah?
Speaker 12 (22:43):
He technical sound, He know how to stay in front
of you, real strappy dude, know how to track the
ball when his air.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
You know, a great finisher. You know he'll all around
dB for sure.
Speaker 7 (22:52):
Yeah, you talked about your relationship with both four quarterbacks,
but how has your relationship specifically been with the two rookies.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
With dealing it? You know, they growing each and every day.
Speaker 12 (23:02):
You know, we come out here and work, you know,
get the repetition when we can, you know, and just
speak on things that we need to speak on just
to get better each and every day, and they constantly
growing every day.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Good. Thank you.
