Father’s Day Tribute 2025

As Jim began this broadcast, he noted how fatherhood is under attack. We've seen this over and over as many sitcoms make fathers the brunt of jokes or make them look like buffoons. He went on to describe articles that question the necessity of fathers, going so far as to claim that the outcomes for children of lesbian couples are no worse, and in some cases even better, than for children of heterosexual couples. One can only wonder what they mean by "successful outcomes" and what their foundation is for obtaining them. Yes, the world can and often does engage in cosplay as they act out alternatives to biblical fatherhood. However, as Jim shows from numerous places in the Bible, fathers can be a great blessing to their children when they avoid worldly alternatives and instead follow the guidelines put forth by our loving Creator.
