That's not sorry, sounds like you were about to. I
was gonna try it, but it doesn't feel right. Y'all?
Speaker 6 (00:58):
Do it?
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Y'all good though? Ready for some Cowboys commanders.
Speaker 6 (01:02):
It's our only home game of October.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Huhh yeah, this is a third home game of the season, right.
Speaker 7 (01:08):
My lord?
Speaker 6 (01:09):
Yep?
Speaker 7 (01:09):
Verse three twenty five, kick off at the house.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Man. Hopefully the sun doesn't barnacles.
Speaker 7 (01:15):
Did you see? Yeah? Pray sayings did you see Tom
Brady talking about it. I did, Yeah, I did.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
It was I don't think about it.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
All right, Well Cowboys commanders, like we've talked about all
throughout the week, but we've got some injury updates.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
But I want to go through that injury report.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Are you shure?
Speaker 7 (01:31):
But you yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, So leave
me alone, all right? So Thursday practice are important, per
you know, Christy Lennon, Let's know that that's an important
day and practice Land. Uh, I can't hear myself that well.
Uh so you have Trevor Keegan. He did not practice
yesterday with the neck injury. Tyler Booker was limited yesterday.
(01:53):
Johnny Cornelius was limited yesterday. Marshawn Kneeland with the ankle
was limited yesterday. CD Land was limited with the ankle.
Jonathan Mingo was limited with the knee injury. Tyler Smith
was limited with the knee injury as well. Jay Thomas
his head was hurting, he had a migraine. He was limited.
(02:15):
Cavante Turpin was limited with the foot. Donovan Wilson was
limited with the elbow slash knee. We saw as he
has his brace on now looking like terminator Kayln Carson
was limited, was full with the knee, Trayvon Diggs was
full with the knee, James Houston was full with the
knee injury.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
And.
Speaker 7 (02:36):
Jack Sanborn concussion, who had a concussion, was a full
go and practice yesterday. So from what I understand, it
sounds like most of these guys should be souping up
on Monday. Yeah, Sunday, third Sunday. Yes, you got it,
you got it. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (02:56):
When you look at the Washington practice report that oh,
dictator ties, I'm skipping like this.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Okay, we're gonna get to that in a second. Now,
you know it's fine.
Speaker 7 (03:05):
I'll let you go nice.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
No, No, it's fine, Okay.
Speaker 7 (03:08):
Yeah. Doren Armstrong did not practice for a second day
with that hamstring injury. I'm not sure if he's gonna
be able to go. From just the reports that I've seen,
a big one that stood out was Terry McLaurin, still
dealing with that quad. He did not practice yesterday. I
don't know if some of this is gamesmanship, but we'll see.
(03:28):
Deebo Samuel with the heel injury, did not practice for
the second day in a row. Chris Rodriguez, they're running
back he gets the carries behind Crosskey. He did not practice. No, yeah,
he did not practice yesterday. Sam coused me their guard.
He was a full go in practice, which is important.
(03:48):
We talked about him. Breeze talked about the rotation that's
been happening at the right guard spot and that that's
caused them some issues. Jayde and Daniels with the knee
was full. Zach ertz Uh just got some rest the
day before, but he was full go yesterday. Jonathan Jones
cornerback was full with the hamstring, and Drake Johnson Jackson
rather he was placed on ir which is a big
(04:10):
deal for them because he just was newly acquired for them.
So he he he, he's not playing.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yeah, I want to take a look at that injury report, ladies.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
I mean, it does seem like Ceedee Lamb is expected
to be a go on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
But aside from Ceede Lamb, because I do want to
make sure we give him a little bit more touch
and we kind of have already touched on it yesterday.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
But aside from Ceedee Lamb, who on this list most
excited about getting back because it's Cowboys team needs them.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Booker talk about it Booker and yeah, and the reason
why Thursday so important is in terms of the practice
week is you get these guys that get that out
there on a Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday are the heaviest
days of practice. So if you if you're coming back
from injury or you're nursing something, and you get through
Wednesday and can still do the same thing on Thursday,
(04:59):
that's good because sometimes you have a little bit of
a setback or it feels sore and you do less
on Thursday. So when you got guys like Tyler Booker
and c. D. Lamb and Cavante Turpin that can can
do as much or even more on Thursday, that's really good.
As compared to what you were saying, like with Terry
McLaurin with Washington that he was limited on Wednesday and
(05:21):
then didn't practice on Thursday. So just the opposite there.
I think them possibly missing Dorrance Armstrong, as you said,
you know, not only is he leading their team in
tackles excuse me sacks with five and a half, he's
one of the leaders in the league and tackles for loss.
I mean he has been really good in that scheme
and having a career year for Dorrance, but you know,
(05:46):
I wonder about Tyler Smith, you know, still says limited.
Hopefully he'll you know, be able and be good to go.
But the main thing is CD being able to do
as much or more on Thursday than he did Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
That's huge.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Yeah, I agree with you too, Christy, especially when you're
talking about a team who got away from their run game.
I think Booker is going to play a big part
in what Schottenheimer is going to do. Yes, we're so
excited that Ceedee Lamb's gonna be on the field, and
we've been talking about what it looks like when him
and Pickens is back in there right on all these
different routes, and how Pickens himself is feeling more comfortable.
(06:22):
Like I used to just mentioned, he's being utilized a
lot different, even Dak said yesterday, like you don't want
to see anyone get hurt, but Ceedee being out showed
us what else Pickens can do. So now it's that
much more exciting when he gets in there and seeing
all these guys Limited. Like Schottenheimer had said, he not
that he doesn't care about Wednesday, but the big deal
is Thursday, because now I want to see how they
(06:43):
feel after they kind of ramped up a little bit
on Wednesday. So looking at the commanders and seeing that
Terry McLaurin is someone who we thought were, you know,
the two star receivers were going to be in this game.
He's trending to not play at least what it looks
like on the practice report, because again to be limited
and then to drop off. It kind of reminds me
what Schottenheimer told us, you know, it matters what the
(07:04):
next day looks like, because it's they did that to Deebo.
Speaker 7 (07:07):
They kind of rushed him in there. We talked about
that with James.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
They put him in there knowing he wasn't gonna be
one hundred percent, and then in the broadcast you kind
of saw him getting retaped up in between and was struggling.
Speaker 7 (07:16):
Didn't get a lot of targets.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
So I'd be surprised if Debo's in there to specially
two days.
Speaker 7 (07:21):
So that's huge. That's their offense.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
We've talked about how they don't have that guy right now,
and they're leaning on some other people there in that
receiving room. So I think for the key in this
one is going to be having just to stop the
run because to know that they can do that one
hundred percent. So now I'm excited Booker if I hadn't
obviously see these the limelight here and he said he
would have been ready to go last week if they
(07:43):
would have let him. So I fully expect to see
him out there, and I think that changes the game
one hundred and ten percent. Excited to see what Shttenheimer
is going to do when he gets in his play
calling bag.
Speaker 7 (07:52):
She got Yeah, you ladies mentioned Booker. I think this
is He's very important. Obviously with this commander's interior defensive front,
they are very strong up front. Dallas was not able
to establish, like you know, a lot of power at
the line of scrimmage last week. That's something that I'm
hoping that they can re establish in this game. But
since you ladies already mentioned Booker, I'm going to mention
(08:14):
Cavante Turpin. One thing that we saw last week, last
week we saw Monday versus the Bears, is that they
really did a lot again I mentioned yesterday, attacking the
perimeter of this Washington defensive line, really going at their edges.
I would like to see some of that speed, some
of those end rounds. Maybe some reverses with Cavante Turpin
or Blue whatever, but I think Cavante Turpin's speed up
(08:36):
against this Washington defense could be very helpful in this game.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
What would you say this, ladies, because we broke it
all down this entire week, you know, talking about their
run game and how successful they are there in terms
of stopping the run, how good they are there as well.
Speaker 7 (08:50):
What do you feel like the X.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Factor in terms of how the Cowboys need to play
them offensively will allow them to succeed?
Speaker 7 (08:58):
What you gay, if they can block thing they have
to do, block it up. I mean, honestly, Dallas is
gonna run the ball. They're gonna run the ball. We
saw that even last week. Is that they continue to
try to get yardage on the ground. I think Dallas
is you know, Shottenheimer and those guys are gonna look
at what Chicago did against this defense and see if
(09:19):
they can do some of those things. However, if that's
not working, I do think that the quarterback, if he's
given enough time, can mean they can manufacture yardage in
the passing game against this Washington secondary that has struggled
only two takeaways this year. I know that Joe Whitten.
Those guys are human. They want that number up a
little bit more. But Dallas, if they can, if this
(09:40):
offensive line can block it up, I do think they're
gonna be able to tack downfield. So that's the biggest
thing for me. What you ladies got.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
I agree totally. They're giving up a lot of explosive plays.
Man Washington is what six plays of fifteen yards plus
that was just against.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
So yeah, and.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
When you mentioned the run, I know we've talked about
it in some of the previous weeks where you still
have to stay true to it to make them respect it, right,
And and once you can establish that, it really sets
up the play action and and gives just that little
extra tick, just that little extra space for those explosive
plays downfield. So yeah, I really feel like this game
(10:21):
is going to be a shootout. You know that, But
shootout shootout please. But that doesn't mean that you that
you never run the ball. Oh, it means it means
that your run is helping set up the pass.
Speaker 7 (10:32):
Right.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
Yeah, yeah, one hundred percent. I agree with you on that.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
Christy.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
My biggest thing is not just schematically, it's it's that
first drive for the Cowboys.
Speaker 7 (10:42):
It's been nasty and to be.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Able to to come out get fired up, you have
the number one offense and you can't score, it's I
think it sets them back. And I think in this
type of game, when you know the Commanders are coming
in fired up, like we heard from James yesterday, they
feel like they should have four wins, like one hundred
and ten percent. Most people thought they were gonna leave
last week being four win team coming into this game,
(11:09):
and we've talked about it in the locker room and yep,
we just got to win. It's a little bit more juice.
We don't like to use the must win, but this
is a divisional game. They're ready lost to Philly. The
Giants are scrapping up there and that's going to be
a dog fight coming up. And the Commanders, this is
your first time facing him. You don't want to sit
here and just get in the habit of losing these
(11:30):
divisional games who are important, especially at home. We saw
the trend what that can be like last year for
a team that was went on this winning streak at
home and then they can't. But I think it's just honestly,
how they set the tone and we heard about starting
out fast, but we just haven't seen that from this
cowboy Sea who's supposed to have this elite offense. The
one thing it's supposed to set it up keep your
defense off the field.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
Yeah, well, they're sitting the same thing in Washington about
slow starts. That's going to be a huge Oh yes,
it's for them this week because they've fallen behind by
double dip JITs and for their six games, and it's
because of these slow starts. So yeah, point of emphasis
for both teams for sure.
Speaker 7 (12:07):
Not scaring us out the gates. No, I agree the
Dallas offense. I would have to look at the numbers,
but I think the second quarter they're one of the
highest scoring teams in the second quarter this year. Love
it fantastic.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
Well, nowhere to go but up?
Speaker 7 (12:23):
Can we do it in the first though? And I
agree with you, especially with this defense that has been
struggling and things like that, you need to be able
to punch seven in when you can, like you have
to take advantage of those opportunities. So I'm very curious
to see what Dallas does with the coin do us
this year and to this.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Game, y'all know what would be crazy. Well, but I
think it just would be insane if both teams defenses
are just playing lights out right and.
Speaker 7 (12:52):
I'm gonna be saying there's so many in the air,
don't put that far off.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
The Cowboys defense gets back to back three and ounce
if I have a party about saying I'm a fight, Yeah,
to catch me dog.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
That's why he's both Dan.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
What you got, ladies? What's the bigger test?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Is it this Cowboy We obviously got to get the
run game going, held to their season low thirty one
rushing yards as a team last week.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
But what's the bigger test?
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Is it bouncing back offensively in terms of this run
game or is it this Cowboys defense containing Jade.
Speaker 6 (13:32):
And Daniels defense? Obviously?
Speaker 7 (13:35):
Yeah, I'm like, yeah, your question?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Is it?
Speaker 7 (13:40):
It is?
Speaker 5 (13:40):
Because I don't want the expectations for the defense. It
is so low that I'm not even going into this.
And to be honest, I don't know if you guys
were listening. I know Christy was in there when Matt
Evelus was talking, but I wasn't. Very That leaves it
very optimistic from what I was hearing and to the
few guys that I got to talk to one on
one in the locker room. They don't have the answers
(14:01):
like they are literally trying to figure it out. And
the thing that stood out that got a lot of
heat on social media, which I was just putting bullet
points on what I heard, but he literally said they're
still working through what their defensive identity is. And I
don't think he necessarily needed to say it because we
can see it. But to hear that and then to
talk to players who are also saying that, you know,
(14:24):
we take a step forward, we take a step back.
We haven't hit the peak. I can't want Thomas I
talk to you. I can't tell the future, but you know,
we've taken some steps here and we just don't know.
But we're trying new things. And it's just kind of
scary stuff to hear well into week seven.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
But what's he supposed to say?
Speaker 7 (14:43):
Though, that's what I'm That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
Nobody, there's no right, there's I have no.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
The solutions are in the room. There's not a magic pill.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Where is that from that.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
Day from yesterday? There's not a magic pill. So can
you make a trade before the deadline and bring a
player to in yeah, but then you've got to work
work them in. Any changes have to be made within
the package already, make some tweaks, and you can't overhaul
things in a week. Okay, right that do you have
(15:18):
an identity? We do up front, but we're still building,
still building it. And you know, the main the main
thing that I took, what I put my little stars
in parentheses around is keep the plan tight and effective
so that guys can execute. So that's the main thing.
He knows what he's got. He's trying to account for
(15:38):
certain things. And I think we're going to see a
more mixture of the calls this week.
Speaker 9 (15:45):
You know.
Speaker 6 (15:47):
Doesn't doesn't mean we're going to play a lot more
man necessarily, but I think that though, you know, whatever
they do, they're they're going to have to mix it in, right.
And the thing is Cliff Kingsbury, Washington. The Commanders offense
is wide open, right, But they also run a lot
of tempo very fast, you know, Yeah, and so that
(16:07):
makes it hard for these substitutions. I mean, the way
that this defensive line is rotating, I mean it's almost
like hockey where you get these line changes where they
come out and it's hard to when they break in
the huddle or you know they're doing the muddle, or
they're getting up to the line of scrimmage and not
giving you allowing substitutions, or if they do, you got
(16:29):
to hustle so fast. It makes it just hard for
not only guys to get set, but just to get
things communicating.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
And that's what I was talking to Sam Williams about.
He had said that they've been trying to work on
like learning each other's hand signals and things like that
to kind of get in in tune with each other.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
But I don't know how long that was going to
take to kind of get a sink.
Speaker 7 (16:49):
It's just like it's a copycat lead. I think it
would be irresponsible to not do some of the things
that Chicago did last week. I think that you are
capable of doing some some stunts on the edge attacking
that right side. I do think that you could bring
some timely blitzes. I understand that's asking for a lot
with a coach that is not accustomed to blitzing that much,
(17:13):
but yeah, Dallas has to find a way to get
this quarterback off of his spot, and not only just
get him off a spot, because That's the thing that
I'm probably most worried about with this quarterback is the
scramble ability. But to answer your question, Nicole, you ask,
are we more like what are we looking for with
the running game or you know, the defense? And for me,
(17:34):
I'm more confident in the running game getting back to
normal because they've shown that they can be consistent there.
The defense has shown you they are consistently not playing well,
to be honest, so I don't have that same confident there. No,
I don't have that confidence there.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
We're going to take our first break here on Gross
Talk Boys Talk and be right back. But about with

That's bo. That actually sounded like you've been practicing a
little bit.
Speaker 7 (20:55):
Yeah, it sounds like it really sounds like Folk Holgan
to me or something. You know who that is? Never
mind you no more.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yesterday, My bad. We're not gonna do that, all right?
Bullseye or bus are you already ready? Dallas will eclipse
three hundred seventy five total yards of offense on Sunday.
Speaker 6 (21:20):
I'm gonna go bullseye. I'm sticking with. I am sticking with.
I think this is going to be a shootout.
Speaker 7 (21:25):
Yeah, man, I'm gonna go Bullseye. I really think Dallas
is going to pass this rock around and have a
lot of space and opportunity to do so.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
Okay, third bullseye for me as well. I feel like
it's going to be a very very high scoring game.
Speaker 7 (21:39):
I don't say that very very interesting. What I said
very very is crazy they can go to overtime.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
Please stop, because I got things to do.
Speaker 7 (21:47):
We're not gonna do that.
Speaker 6 (21:48):
And just for reference, they're averaging three hundred and eighty
seven yards on offense each week. So if they if
they just reach what they've done through the first six weeks,
will be a bullseye.
Speaker 4 (21:57):
All right, already for number two?
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Yeah, yep, or bust.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
I didn't like that one. It's sorry, I'll try you later.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
The Cowboys will have over one hundred.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
And fifty rushing yards as a team on Sunday.
Speaker 7 (22:10):
I'm gonna go bust. Okay, I'm only going bust because
outside of the Chicago game, they have been holding you know,
running backs to like three point two yards of garry.
I do think Dallas will see some success because of
what Christy was talking about earlier the past, kind of
opening up the run and stuff. But I'm gonna go bust.
I don't know they're gonna be a run about like that,
(22:32):
or they don't have to for that matter.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
Bus as well, what you got definitely gonna be higher
than thirty one yards than last week. I know that
hit home and I think they can really attack the
edges in this run game. If they can get out
of running inside like what they typically like to do.
I think they could have a successful land the ground,
but I don't think it's gonna be that high, especially
when you have all these options on the outside that
you can throw two coming back.
Speaker 6 (22:55):
Yeah, I think they'll tickle it, but it'll be best.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
I'm tied, busted.
Speaker 6 (22:59):
Sure, I never heard that tickle get close, tickle it
still tickle it. But no, buddy, I think I think
it'll be through the year.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Yes, got you all right? You're ready for number three.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Bull's eye or bus.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Dak will throw no interceptions.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
Actually that may gosh, that's whatever you say that that
jinx is it? So if it's opening series and something happened,
don't say that's on the call.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
No, that's on the call.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
Gonna say it on crazy on radio, but I'm.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
Gonna post it on my Twitter.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
I'm just here to throw out bold statements. I don't know,
I so I want to.
Speaker 6 (23:41):
Here's the thing they only had Washington only has two
interceptions and the whole year, right, so they only have
three takeaways for the whole year. So you can say
Dak's not going to throw an interception, or you can
look at it the other way and say the commanders
are due. So but I'll try and stay positive and
say what is it. I'm gonna say it doesn't through bullseye.
(24:04):
That's a bulls eye way.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
He doesn't.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
I'm gonna yeah, So that's bust.
Speaker 7 (24:10):
Okay, you're confusing that.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Sorry.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
I'm going to the positive route as well, because I.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
Think Dak can take care of the football.
Speaker 6 (24:19):
Take no, oh, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (24:21):
I feel like if the if the ball is turned over,
I think it's going to be more of a punch
out type of thing. I don't think it's gonna be
Dak making a bad decision not seeing the field.
Speaker 7 (24:31):
So Nicole confused me on the bulls eye.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
And because I said he will throw no interceptions, then
that's bulls.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
I'm sorry, job, I'm I'm sorry, y'all. I'm gonna say
that it's a.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (24:50):
Yeah, I'm gonna say it's a bus. I do think
that Washington's uh Dak has been nails against the Blitz.
I think that, you know, he's been really great. But
they are able to get pressure, y'all. They are able
to get pressure. They are able to affect the quarterback.
It's gonna put a lot of stress on your offensive line,
and you're running backs to be in the right place,
so and you'll tie in. So I'm gonna say, maybe
(25:12):
there's a tipped one.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
No, that's that's fine, that's the double reverse hex jinks.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
Yeah, I was just trying to help. Yeah, okay, that's fair.
I had to cancel it. That cool, Uh huh, all right.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Bullseye or bust.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
George Pickens will account for over thirty five percent of
Dak's passing yards on Sunday.
Speaker 6 (25:31):
They're gonna go bust on that, just because I think
they're gonna spread it around so much. And I don't
just mean CD gonna take so much of that. He'll
he'll get his chunk. But I think there's just different
ways they're gonna attack the commanders, and George will get
his his part. But I don't know if it'll be
over a third.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
You said passing yards, I'm gonna go a bullseye. I
think they're gonna attack down this field. We already talked
about washing into giving up explosive plays also too. Even
though Ceedey Lamb is coming back, I do think that
it is going to be, you know, kind of reintegrating
him back into his office. I'm sure he's gonna fit
like a glove, but we don't know, like if the
coaches are gonna be, you know, taking care of him
(26:15):
in that sense and making sure they're careful with how
if he's a full go, he's a full go. I
don't know, but yeah, I think that there's space and
opportunity downfield. I expect some big plays in the passing game,
so I think his numbers might be up because of that. Yeah,
I'm gonna go bullseye as well.
Speaker 5 (26:30):
I think we have seen everybody step up and when
you're talking about a firk, when you're talking about a fanoid.
But I think we'll see those not that they're gonna
go quiet, but they'll go down just a bit. And
I think CD, as much as he wants every single ball,
I think they're not going to force it because they
do have Pickens, and I think it's gonna be a
big day for both of them. But I do feel
(26:51):
like Pickens is gonna kind of lead the way on
this one.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yeah you're trying to say bus.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Okay, bullseye or yeah, all right, Dallas will convert more
than a third downs on Sunday. My bad Dallas will
convert more than fifty percent of their third downs on Sunday.
Speaker 7 (27:11):
M hmm, well, sound.
Speaker 6 (27:14):
Good, but bust. I think it's gonna be close. But no,
I don't know about that. Hey, stay ahead of the stick,
do like Carolina last week and be so effective that
you don't even have to get to third downs too often.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
So he'll be awesome.
Speaker 6 (27:31):
But I mean the Cowboys are doing well, averaging over
forty percent, but fifty is a lot.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
Yeah, I'm gonna go bust too high expectations. Thing's gonna
be a great game, but let's see it before we believe.
Speaker 7 (27:44):
It kind of thing. So do fourth downs count? Okay,
it's the sweet whisper. I'm gonna go answer. I'm gonna
go bust. But I do think there's gonna be some
fourth down plays. I do think there's gonna be some
decisions they gotta be made in this game.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
I hope they go for a lot of these forth
down I just want to put that you don't need
the punt at this they don't go wow, I wouldn't
be punt.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
I wouldn't be punting a whole bunch of If it's
a tight.
Speaker 8 (28:09):
Game, go for it.
Speaker 6 (28:13):
So you'd pass some points, you'd pass some points with.
Speaker 7 (28:15):
Aubrey, depending on just obviously situationally, depending on, but situationally,
I do think if the defense is not, you know,
seeing success in this game in the office, Dallas needs
to win just as bad as Washington. I do think
there's some the urgency in that maybe later in this
game will play into some of the maybe some two
(28:37):
point conversions, maybe some you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (28:39):
So, like you're saying, I think how the tempo goes
of this game, I think you got to you got
to keep it up.
Speaker 7 (28:42):
You yeah, to be more aggressive. Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 6 (28:46):
Hey that last year it was so wheels off on
special teams, and I know we can talk about that later,
but I think special teams is going to be.
Speaker 7 (28:58):
Huge, and it was.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Right there already.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Yeah yeah, yeah, Bullseye or Bush, the Cowboys will average
over five yards per play or better.
Speaker 6 (29:12):
So yeah, over five yards Bullseye.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
Yeah, I'll Bullseye, I'll play, I show you play.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
I was dry.
Speaker 7 (29:20):
I was trying to make sure that I yeah, yeah,
I mean if even if we're going by Washington's standards
in the secondary, they're giving up seven yards of play,
So yes, I'm gonna go leg bullseye.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
All right, this is gonna be a good one.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
I'm ready for this, bullseye or bust.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
The Cowboys offense will score a touchdown on its first
two drives.
Speaker 7 (29:44):
Wow, after I just attacked their.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
First ability.
Speaker 6 (29:49):
Your lips to God's ears. I know you had a
lot of clean living lately. Is he gonna listen to you?
Speaker 5 (29:56):
They're gonna I've been praying he's gonna touch down to
just score.
Speaker 6 (30:02):
She said touchdown, touchdown.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
I didn't say that. Yeah, I had to look back.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Sorry, I'm gonna go bus because I gotta be negative.
I don't like that she got this beard on her.
I don't like.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
Hey, look, confidence comes from demonstrated ability, and I don't have.
I haven't seen it yet. Yeah, so far through the
first six games. So that's fair, the confidence one of them. Yeah,
I mean we score on both, but maybe not touchdowns
on both.
Speaker 7 (30:27):
That's a positive start.
Speaker 6 (30:29):
Yes, I agree with Bret on that, But I'll go bust.
Speaker 7 (30:32):
When ain't seen them score on two drives.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
Touchdown the first two drives?
Speaker 4 (30:39):
All right?
Speaker 7 (30:39):
Uh yeah, uh yeah, I'm gonna go bust. I do
think this Washington defense is gonna come out and maybe
get a stop to depend depending on.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
Yeah mmmmmmmm already for this one?
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Yes, let go Bull's eye or bust.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
The Cowboys will win the time of possession battle by
four minutes.
Speaker 7 (31:03):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (31:04):
See that's hard. We keep saying we're gonna we're expecting
big plays and not. I think this is gonna be
a game of big plays and not necessarily long sustained
time eating drives. So I'm not sure about that. So
can you say it one more time?
Speaker 4 (31:19):
Sorry?
Speaker 3 (31:20):
The Cowboys will win the time of possession battle by
four minutes.
Speaker 6 (31:27):
I'll go bust. I'm not sure that I think it's
gonna be quick strike games.
Speaker 7 (31:32):
Yeah, I'm gonna go bust as well.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
I'm a thirty thirty all right, is crazy.
Speaker 6 (31:37):
And Washington made their strength is their run game, and
especially if you don't have like McLaurin or Samuel, they're
gonna have to rely on that run game more, whereas
I think the Cowboys think maybe better with the passing
and anyway, usually more run plays means more time of possession,
so I'll give that edge to Washington.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
Cool, all right, you're ready for this one?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Yeah, bull eye or bussed. Jayden Daniels will be sacked.
Speaker 4 (32:07):
I'm gonna go three times.
Speaker 7 (32:08):
Oh, let it be. So I had to kick back
on it because.
Speaker 6 (32:16):
Wow, let's see, do we believe?
Speaker 4 (32:20):
I don't know. Do y'all be believed? Eleven? I'm going busk.
Speaker 9 (32:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (32:26):
I was kind of sit here until I changed my mind.
But I'm looking at film in my brain and I
don't see it.
Speaker 6 (32:32):
I think he just has enough escapability that, you know,
maybe you get to him, but still maybe like a
two yard game where he you know.
Speaker 7 (32:40):
He's slippery.
Speaker 6 (32:41):
Yeah, yeah, and what they.
Speaker 7 (32:46):
Sorry, he's gonna look like a track star. Okay, why
are you this way?
Speaker 4 (32:50):
I'm sorry, I don't like it.
Speaker 6 (32:52):
They have allowed forward sacks. Washington has forty six games,
but a couple of those games from Mariota. I mean,
he's he's a fast too.
Speaker 7 (33:00):
He can get out.
Speaker 6 (33:01):
But y'all going bus I'm gonna go bust.
Speaker 7 (33:04):
I'm going bus. I do think that Dallas will have
some tackles for loss stuff like that, but m what, y'all,
I'm stressed out a little bit.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
Okay, do you want to try?
Speaker 7 (33:17):
Yes, breathe do it?
Speaker 6 (33:18):
Do it? Do it? Do it?
Speaker 8 (33:20):
You can do it?
Speaker 5 (33:22):
Fine?
Speaker 2 (33:22):
I hate y'all right, bullseye or bus.
Speaker 7 (33:29):
That's the last one I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Dallas will allow under four yards per carry to Washington's
running backs.
Speaker 7 (33:38):
No waist head again, I had a slow moment, my bat.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Sorry.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Dallas will allow under four yards per carry to Washington's
running backs.
Speaker 7 (33:48):
Why would you ask that?
Speaker 4 (33:49):
It was just bold?
Speaker 7 (33:51):
It's gonna be a noe for me. Dougay, Chris Rodriguez
and crosskey Jeremy Nichols cant the rock a little bit
too hangry and obviously the quart elite.
Speaker 6 (34:05):
Yeah, that's it's gonna skew. Jaden Daniels can skew that total.
I mean, you get that average rush.
Speaker 7 (34:11):
Only can I add something really quickly? One thing that
Washington does do and it hurt them last week they
like to run the ball out of shotgun. I remember
those days. Uh, they like to run the ball out
of shotgun a lot and pistol running out of pistol
in the rain. Last week, I thought it was a choice,
had to fumble and doing that obviously gonna be inside
this game. But I do think that Dallas they do
(34:35):
some they do some motions and all those different things.
I do think that them doing that as much as
they do and not coming from under center will help
the Dallas defense. It should help the Dallas defense not
to get well to be able to read those keys.
It kind of tells you on film when they are
gonna run the ball. Since they do so much from
(34:55):
out of pistol in shotgun, it's really weird. I would
think that Cliff would change it up. Maybe they do
ang it up and do some more under center because
they've seen you struggle with it. But that might be
a break the Cowboys catch and maybe they'll be able
to be a little bit better on the ground. I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Okay, ready for this one, Yeah, be ready, bulls eye
or bus.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Dallas will hold the Commanders to under three hundred total yards.
Speaker 5 (35:19):
I'm sorry, sorry, I'm going bus under three hundred with
this defense.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
I was waiting for you to say something. I'm sorry,
I got a bus.
Speaker 9 (35:31):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
I have faith that they can get some stops possibly,
but I don't think it's gonna be under three hundred.
Speaker 7 (35:40):
Yeah. Here, it's gonna be bus for me. They're averaging
at about three hundred and forty five yards a game already,
so it's gonna be a note for me.
Speaker 6 (35:51):
Now.
Speaker 7 (35:51):
Granted, like we said, they got some pretty key injuries
that we're still keeping an eye out on and things
like that, but it hasn't the matter who's on the
other hand, say yeah, it's like myself.
Speaker 6 (36:06):
Yeah, now I'm going to go bust as well, just
because I'm gonna stick with my theory of it be
high scoring and a shootout, and you know, they're just
going to have to go for you know, hopefully the
Cowboys get a lead and and Washington's having to play
catch up and throw the ball a lot. But I mean, yeah,
they may be without McLaurin and Deebo, but you got
(36:28):
a guy Luke McCaffrey. He has the same amount of
touchdowns on thirty yard plus plays as George Pickens.
Speaker 7 (36:35):
So well, probably not not for us this week. He's
fun to watch.
Speaker 6 (36:39):
The other thing, you know, and again, special teams, they're
so good. They got good starting field position. I mean,
they're kind of like the Cowboys where they're just a
couple of you know, one and a half first downs
away from being in a field goal position. You know,
I just yeah, I just see him moving the ball.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
I do all right.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Well, or bus Dallas's defense will score, whether an interception
for a touchdown or for more recovery for a touchdown.
Speaker 6 (37:10):
Wow, now here's a chance to be bold, ladies, here's
a chance to be bold. Okay, I'll go for it. Okay,
I'll save a side, I'll save bull si Yeah, chrisy, Yeah,
there you go.
Speaker 7 (37:23):
But I want to hear I'm gonna I'm gonna follow
suit on that. I think Donovan is a rok who
gets that sack this week and gets a strip sack.
I think he's it's gonna be rook on rook with
that right tackle. Donovan is getting really close. We saw
him in last game looking at the film, just his
pressure numbers going up. I think he has sixteen on
the sec second on the season. He is second with
(37:44):
rookie edge defenders. I think it's coming for him. Push
that ball out.
Speaker 6 (37:48):
Who's gonna scoop it and score barnacles? It gotta be
a big human huh Marist. Maybe May.
Speaker 7 (37:56):
If it's gonna or or safety if they're coming to
help out in the run.
Speaker 6 (38:00):
Maybe it's Jonavan, Maybe Jonavan, Donovan and Donovan.
Speaker 7 (38:05):
Or one of those guys like yeah, I hope it's
a smaller boat so they can get after it. But
I know, we like to see the big guys run
run for tuddies.
Speaker 5 (38:12):
I like that you brought up Donavanezraka because he's so
due for a sack, and they were asking him how
it feels to be this closed, and then I asked
him if he had a celebration ready, and he's like,
he said, his little longhorns. It's definitely his celebration. So
he said, be weary on that. So I hope to
see that. I don't know if it's gonna turn into
a score yolse, So I'm gonna go bus. I think
they can get a takeaway like we saw last week
(38:34):
and strike up there. But I just take it to
the house all the way. I'm gonna say, I get
it final one.
Speaker 7 (38:43):
Make it a build one girl.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Oh, I don't know if this one look at one,
but it's gonna be the final one.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
Guy.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Dang it all right, Bullseye or Bus, there we go.
Speaker 4 (38:54):
It's dramatic.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Washington will covert fewer than thirty five percent of their
third downs.
Speaker 7 (39:02):
You were your question to our side, I'm cheaty or more? Gee?
Speaker 6 (39:07):
Gee, they're really bad. No Washington, Dallas, Yes, okay, both.
I wish we just they're right it literally, through their
first six six games, Washington's offense is at thirty three percent,
so they're twenty the bottom of the league.
Speaker 7 (39:25):
There's twenty ninth and Dallas' defense is thirty seconds. So
some gotta give, ugly versus ugly, some gotta give. I'm
gonna go. You said thirty five or less, I'm gonna go.
Bust I don't got it in me.
Speaker 6 (39:41):
Yeah, bust I can't take our spirit.
Speaker 7 (39:44):
But please, that's how we're ending it. It would be
awesome if they can figure out how to get them
off the field. But this Dallas defense has just not
been good on third down, third and longs to make
you want to fight.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
We should have ended on the first the previous note.
Speaker 7 (39:59):
That's okay, it's a hey, we're being honest. Yep, welcome
back to this positivit.

I don't know, I'm gonna come up with something. Don't
worry about it. It's coming all right. We got fun,
we got fun Fat Friday.
Speaker 7 (42:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (42:52):
So sometimes you just have to take a moment in
a game. We get all wrapped up in it and
what's gonna happen, and we're boy centric on everything, but
sometimes you have to look at a player on the
other team and just appreciate greatness. If you're a fan,
just take a couple of plays on Sunday, if you
love football, and just watch number fifty four for Washington.
(43:14):
Just a couple plays Bobby Wagner, and we think of
them mostly for his time with Seattle, but he has
a chance to do something by the end of this
year that only two humans have ever done, and that's
two thousand career tackles in the NFL. Bobby Wagner has
over nineteen hundred career tackles. Think about that if you
(43:38):
get about to lead a team in tackles, you get
maybe one hundred and thirty one hundred and fifty in
a season. This guy is in his fourteenth year. His
first thirteen seasons, he topped one hundred tackles every single time.
He's got over nineteen hundred tackles. The only two players
in NFL history that have ever topped two thousand are
(44:00):
Ray Lewis and London Fletcher and Bobby Wagner. If he
keeps up his double digit tackles, guys, we still got
eleven games left. He may hit it by the end
of the season. Now, I just want to put it
in context because you have Ray Lewis number one, London
Fletcher number two, Bobby Wagner coming in behind, about to
(44:20):
hit two thousand, maybe by the end of this year.
Put it in context with Dallas Cowboys. Our all time
leading tackler for the Cowboys is Darren Woodson. He's spent
his entire career here and he barely has over one thousand.
So depending on how you measure it combined tackles, you
(44:42):
know the Cowboys listed is one thousand, two hundred and
thirty tackles. Pro Football Reference credits him with nine hundred
and seventy. Tackles are graded a little bit differently after
coach's tape are watched. But Darren Woodson is ninety ninth
all time on the Pro Football Reference list of all
time leading tacklers, and yet Bobby Wagner has what twice
(45:09):
according to Pro Football Reference of what Darren Woodson does.
So please just take a few moments and appreciate what
you see on the field because sometimes it's a guy
that's for the other team and over two thousand career tackles.
Talking to Clayton Adams said that this guy is the one.
He's like a mind reader. He knows the formations, he
(45:31):
knows what's coming before it happens, and so that's why
he's able to diagnose things and be there where he's
supposed to be. But just the durability that it takes
to play at that high level and it hit double
digit tackles on a regular basis during the season when
you're in your fourteenth year in the league at a
position like linebacker that takes such a physical toll. So
(45:56):
Bobby Wagner keep an eye on him because he's going
to do something that only three NFL players have ever done.
Speaker 7 (46:02):
In history match up with and Dak is going to
be fun.
Speaker 6 (46:05):
Yes, because you've got I mean, that is two tacticians
right there.
Speaker 11 (46:11):
Now.
Speaker 3 (46:11):
I was gonna ask, it's very bold, very very bold,
but I wanted to know, you know, obviously seeing the
young linebacker corps that we have young guys in that
linebacker room, that we have who has the potential to
be a Bobby potential And I said, it's bold, That's
what I said before.
Speaker 8 (46:30):
I do it out there.
Speaker 6 (46:33):
I think they're so rare, Bobby Wagner, so rare that
we've had guys that have been able to diagnose like
dat winds of the world. You know, Sean Lee. If
Sean Lee could have stayed healthy, he would be a
guy because you know, he would average double digit tackles
and just know what was coming before it got there.
(46:53):
But I don't know that's a that's a high bar.
Speaker 7 (46:56):
I know they would love to have someone like that
in this room.
Speaker 6 (46:59):
Yeah, And the thing is the linebacking corps. Frankie Luvu
is also a guy number four for Washington. What a
linebacking corps they have. He kind of had his come
out breakout season last year and what a luxury for
a guy like Joe Whitt Junior, who former Cowboys coach
and now the coordinator working for Dan Quinn there in Washington,
(47:22):
to have that kind of experience. You know what is
the one thing that we've been talking about with the
issue with the Cowboys defense through the first six weeks communication.
Speaker 7 (47:31):
Yeah, it's not enough guys out there that have been
there before, you know, So no, I agree. Yeah, love
you Bobby. I love you, Bob. I really hope the
guards can get up on you at the second level,
but I do I will be looking for him in
that matchup with Dak. That's gonna be fun to watch,
even on film. Yes, I feel like that thank you
is gonna be.
Speaker 4 (47:51):
Fun to watch.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
It's gonna be fun in at and T Stadium three
twenty five kickoff.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
We'll all be there.
Speaker 7 (47:57):
Let's go, Lord, be a clout, be some clouds.
Speaker 6 (48:02):
I think there's a chance for rain Oh to say
you don't have to mess with the With the sun
shining through the west end zone, we shall see.
Speaker 4 (48:10):
Well, apparently shot he got a plan. So we're gonna
pray it works.
Speaker 3 (48:14):
But that's a wrapper Today Show for Breonna Audridge, Christie Scales,
Aisha Morris, and Nicole Hutchinson.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
We'll see y'all back here on Monday.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
This has been a production of dallascowboys dot Com and
the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
