It was not the luster that long story.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, but they were.
Speaker 7 (01:30):
It was good.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Everybody had a lot of feedback, but there was there
was a couple of calls that had some specific feedback
to one person on the show, and it opened up
with Jeff from.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Virginia's that were, Yeah, New York kind of kind.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
Of wasn't really taking a shot at Jesse, just kind
of expressed his views and opinions and basically told Jesse
he was, you know, lining himself up to be out
of here, like like brought us took a little Hiyacus.
Speaker 8 (01:57):
Most of the people on the chat were in your
corner there.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
I appreciate y'all.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
But he opened up a dialogue that lasted for an
hour and it continued for a while after the.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Show, and we we we had a user user.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
I've got a listener.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Fan of the show, very familiar with all the storylines
with our show and have been you know, we have
the same continual storylines for all the.
Speaker 7 (02:23):
New listeners for about the last seven years.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Yeah, and uh, they wrote a song and they sent
it to Chris and it's kind of long. We'll listen
to maybe the first you got to listen to at least.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
The second, the second after the second.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Hook, because then it really it really kicks in great song,
at least at least about two and a half minutes
of this Christ let her roll.
Speaker 9 (02:44):
Christ is true back table, rolling past on chasing.
Speaker 10 (03:05):
The name.
Speaker 11 (03:09):
Superboarlings, glinting his rearview.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
A map on the dashing miles at you. He's got
a plane.
Speaker 11 (03:22):
Or maybe just a tree, cruising through feed.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
A crossing every streams.
Speaker 11 (03:33):
Big Nates on the open roll carrying stores and.
Speaker 6 (03:37):
A heavy lord.
Speaker 11 (03:39):
CHESSI still packed on the porch waiting good bow the
grandson torch see. Every trip has the same or song
Natives rollings, CHESSI stays along from Texas plans to Montana,
(04:00):
dis guys.
Speaker 9 (04:03):
Roads, his chairs, the hill's baptized.
Speaker 11 (04:08):
Stopping for a comeata roadside stand.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Now do the waitress of shake of her hands. The
truck comes.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
Like a faith tune.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Under the sun and rising.
Speaker 7 (04:31):
Jeffy says, take me, I'll ride this time.
Speaker 11 (04:34):
But Nate just laughs as the portrait spie Big Nate's
on the open a road, carrying stories at a heavy load.
Speaker 12 (04:45):
Sheffy till back.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
On the bars, wasn't that good?
Speaker 5 (04:50):
And if you listen to the show, there's an ongoing
bit that Nate just drives everywhere I do. That's not
a bit, it's not a real life. We just get
text messages out of the blue and have been for years.
Oh not go make it today, Fellas show us gorgeous
in New Mexico and it's like and then he was
supposed to pick Jesse up.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Where were you all supposed to go to California?
Speaker 7 (05:14):
Right, training camp?
Speaker 2 (05:16):
And Jesse got left on the porch.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Yeah, bag packed and everything ready to go, ready to go.
That's good.
Speaker 5 (05:23):
Yeah, And so he got some user user generated content
of Nate driving the open road and old Jesse's still
on the porch.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
The porch pitch you say, the porch just oh, what
a way to start the show. But thanks, thanks, thanks
Jess for taking that.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Like a champ anytime, anytime, a team player.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
That's a good song.
Speaker 13 (05:49):
Nate man, I'm thinking the dude doing a tribute to me,
and he blasted my boy.
Speaker 7 (05:55):
I'm like, wow, he got a tribute late dude. Oh
Jesse on the porch.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Oh okay, Oh well, Chris, thanks for sharing that.
Speaker 7 (06:02):
That's eleven you know, yeah, well.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
Big news today if you consider it big news, big
name anyway in the building working out any updates on that.
He's left your date Outvion Clowney, which five years ago
would have been huge news, right, been on what several
different teams.
Speaker 6 (06:27):
Seven and his career heaven, Wow, Wow, he's taking out
Darrel Rivers approach. You know, I made a name for myself.
I'm gonna get one year deals for the rest of
my career.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Just ride it out ten million every single year.
Speaker 6 (06:39):
You know, I'm out the house. He's got this thing
figured out now. His last two teams that he showed
up to, the Ravens and the Titans. Uh, he got
there in September. Davian Is figured this thing out. He said, listen,
I'm already gifted from God. I only need all this
training can stuff that's for the birds. I'm gonna show
about the week one. They're gonna give me some guaranteed
(07:00):
money and I'm gonna go out there and be productive.
I'm already better than most of the people out here
because God said so.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
So he's got it all figured out.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
He's still got something left.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Yeah, would you like to have him on this team?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Would he would he help this team?
Speaker 6 (07:13):
Yes, Yes, he's gonna if they decide to go forward. Now, remember,
Jadavion Clowney is a free agent. The Cowboys aren't the
only team that are looking for or look at or
trying to sign a run stopper, slash past rusher at
five and a half sacks last year, So there's other
(07:35):
team that may offer more money. Sometimes the Cowboys get
that way with the pie. But he would be a
great addition. He serves two purposes for you, like he's
a guy as the veteran could come in here he
will be. Let me just say this, if Jadavion Clowney
signed today, he would be at thirty three years old,
(07:58):
kurt Is he he would be your most complete edge
rusher on the team. On the team, thirty two years old,
he would be your most complete What.
Speaker 7 (08:08):
Would they sign him for? Two three million? Year three?
Speaker 4 (08:13):
Mili, he's not coming, so three mines coming?
Speaker 7 (08:16):
How much you coming from?
Speaker 6 (08:17):
It's it's gonna have to be somewhere five six seven
and then with the potential to get up to ten
to twelve.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
Would he be a guy though that comes in, you know,
and they talk a lot about discipline and staying on
your blocks, and you.
Speaker 13 (08:37):
Know, no, he's a freak, Jesse, I already told you
he's a freak. He's one of those guys you'd just
be like, just you you you man bringing him in here.
He can rush from the three wide three four. Uh,
he's gonna be a five and on out six seven technique. Uh,
freakish athlete.
Speaker 7 (08:55):
Uh can play the run and.
Speaker 13 (08:59):
But he's he's a pass rush special like he said.
But he'll be the most complete one you got because
he understands the game. He's been around long enough. He's
a mercenary, like prime, prime, original mercenary. Out of that,
you know, hey, this is I'm worth this.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
Do you want it?
Speaker 13 (09:13):
And so, uh, he left out of here with a contract.
We don't know that the Cowboys off or not don't
matter because he going to another team and he's gonna
get some more office. So uh, he probably walked out
saying I'll get back with y'all to them when they
said we'll get back with you, he said, yeah, and
I get back.
Speaker 7 (09:28):
I mean some players got it like that, like yeah.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
And he does again. You're talking about edge right in
the day time that we live in. You know, those
pieces are always valuable. And for a guy like today
Jan Clowney, you know, number one overall pick got a
bunch of money. I don't not pocket watching, but he's
you be the number one wall pick. You're playing his
league for that long you got.
Speaker 7 (09:49):
I ain't gonna let you slide like you don't let
me slide. Ain't you ain't pocket watching? You boring, boring?
Speaker 4 (09:59):
You know you go in, I ain't pocket watched.
Speaker 7 (10:03):
Yet.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Made a lot of money since, like you.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
Said, he got in before there was the rookie cap too, right, Yeah, yeah,
so he got in on that big money.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, first contract.
Speaker 6 (10:17):
He's in there, he's uh, he's made good money and
so yeah, he's he plays the position and he's still
good enough at that position where he has choices. You know,
he has choices. He may look around and say, you
know what, I kind of want to be what I
think I say, I'm hating what a real super Bowl contender?
And maybe he doesn't view that, but there is a
(10:37):
relationship there.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
He is shot.
Speaker 6 (10:38):
He was in Seattle at the same time a couple
of years back, so there's that. But you know, where
was he last year Carolina?
Speaker 8 (10:47):
Apparently Sean said his press conference was just in the
last thirty minutes and he's still going through some conversations here,
so maybe he hasn't left quite yet.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
Oh okay, so probably physicals and stuff like that. Checking
out checking out two year old body. So we take
him in a harpy. Okay, good, yeah, good, for sure
he makes his team better.
Speaker 7 (11:09):
Good.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
I'm glad to hear that, because I didn't know if
he was just a big name and didn't have a
lot of production.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Still he still he still has he still has some
meat left on the bone.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
Okay, good, let's get him in here. We we saved
a little bit of money this right before the season started.
Let's spend a little bit of it. Let's get him
in here, all right, before we get into what Cowboys
offense today, Giants defense?
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yes, Sir Kurt, I'm disappointed, little rosters.
Speaker 8 (11:34):
I know, I was getting ready to leave him, like,
oh man, I forgot he's having tomorrow.
Speaker 13 (11:39):
Okay, trying to take it off his hand breaking the
water in I'm thinking, so you see him was scrambling
for the.
Speaker 7 (11:45):
Last second he was up.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
He was up there playing them games on.
Speaker 7 (11:52):
Take a shot tow is this game?
Speaker 14 (11:58):
You know?
Speaker 5 (11:58):
I think it's Eagles Washington Cowboys or probably close to
tide and the perception of everybody in the Giants are
an afterthought? Is this a bigger game this early in
the season, Having back to back Conference games this quick
as like, I think everybody's kind of overlooking this game. Oh,
it's just the Giants, but some people are probably going,
(12:21):
it's just the Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
They ain't that great either, But is this.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
I think we just think we're going to walk over
the Giants, Like, you know, if Russell Wilson's got anything left, right,
they got a hell of a defense.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Like is this a bigger game.
Speaker 7 (12:36):
Than you know?
Speaker 5 (12:37):
It's just game two and is everybody's getting settled in?
But this is kind of a big thing. You could
look up in four games.
Speaker 6 (12:42):
And be h and four, it's a big game because
you don't want to fall oh and two, oh and
two record is already a hole. You don't want to
fall oh and two and then be oh and tow
in thedivision Like that's that's what makes it even more
of a of a big game.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
And oh and two against one of those two teams
is supposedly the under the basement of the.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
Difference, right right, So so that that's a that's a
that's a big thing for especially the game this week
coming up down the road.
Speaker 8 (13:14):
You got to have this one in your pocket, got.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
To have these so you got like these are the
games that we talked about where you look back on
the season and you go, boy, they would have been
in it they had had they beat the Giants earlier
in the year, or had they beat you know, this
team early in the years. These are the game that
you don't want to come back to bite you in
the butt, but you also don't want to because historically
the Cowboys have dominated and you can say in the
last ten years in the Dak Prescott era of the Cowboys,
(13:39):
they've dominated.
Speaker 15 (13:39):
The sixteen and one is Giants. The last their last
seventeen games against the Giants. Did I hear that somewhere
they've been killing Yeah? I think he lost what two
games his rookie year he dropped both games, and then
I don't.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
That's it the tail ever since then.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
That's unbelievable.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
So that that's the part about out this thing that
you look at and it's earlier in the season. But
you know, honestly, I I don't feel worried, Like after
watching film and looking at everything, I don't.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
I don't feel worried.
Speaker 13 (14:14):
As long as our offense can run the ball, as
long as the offense can get the ball out on time.
Speaker 7 (14:23):
I won't worry about the game. But I do not
want this game, even in the second half.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
This game, I'm gonna I'm stry to cut you off.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
Do what you gotta do.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
At halftime.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Yeah, if you're if you're a consumer of beer or whatever,
you should be good.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
You should be chilling like what we're eating.
Speaker 7 (14:48):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Fill me up again at halftime.
Speaker 6 (14:51):
This game shouldn't if we're talking about this game being
a football game in the second half.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Some things have gone hardly wrong in the first half.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Mm hmm, let's go ahead, No, go ahead, go ahead
on brother, Yeah, let's I was just gonna say, let's
let's heart take a break.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
That way we can talk about your guy, Sexy Dexy. Yeah, man,
is he your favorite now?
Speaker 10 (15:10):

he's a spinner, I'm still with him.
Speaker 5 (15:17):

Speaker 13 (15:23):

that Jesse present, But I'm gonna step.
Speaker 7 (15:27):

Speaker 5 (18:15):
These rosters with Kurt's lackadaisical attitude today towards the show,
and Matt Kent thanks for running them down the hall
to bring them in here to us. So all right,
fellas Nate's second favorite pet cat in the league, Sexy
Dexy dexter Lawrence PFF had him ranked as the third
best defensive tackle last year. They had him ranked ninth
(18:37):
in Week one. How do you is he gonna wreak
havoc from what you saw on the offensive line from
the front of the game.
Speaker 13 (18:45):
I'm gonna tell you something. They played him at a
three technique. He was if he has forty snaps. They
doubled him thirty thirty of them, thirty two of them.
They doubled him where he is dangerous And like I said,
I let Jesse go over to overview the whole thing
where he is dangerous. When they put him at a
(19:06):
one technique.
Speaker 7 (19:08):
He'll get a.
Speaker 13 (19:10):
Silver backstance. His back legs is wide here and he
get down low. You are not moving him with a
double team or a single block. I saw a third
and one where he just gobbled up the two guys
and if the linebacker would have just just stayed where
(19:31):
he was not oversot the motion, he'd have had a
straight beeline to kill the running back. But they got
a first down. This team, if you look at this team,
Washington had four hundred and some yards of total offense.
The only reason they have that total offense like that
is because at the end of the game they broke
(19:52):
off a big run for maybe fifty sixty yards. I'm
talking about the rushing part of it. About a fifty
sixty yard run in that quarter.
Speaker 7 (20:00):
Back number five.
Speaker 13 (20:03):
They couldn't they did. This is not about him, but
he is so you unique. I mean, at the beginning
of the game, he was very precise. He either got
rid of it off for the first second read he
took off, and so that put them in a buying defensively,
even though they they are three four defense cover the
(20:25):
center cover both tackles, linebacker, linebacker. That's how it's supposed
to be. But they are always giving you a four
man rush. Look, they are always giving you whether that's
with the Abdul guy, Thibodeaux Burns, I can't think of
the number ninety five name and sexy Decks.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
They always got those guys in there.
Speaker 13 (20:46):
Now they lost the linebacker, yeah, McFadden, but fifty one
Bobby or rook a rookie.
Speaker 7 (20:56):
Fifty eight fifty eight Bobby. He is a part of
that rush package too.
Speaker 13 (21:02):
They are a better run team defensively than what this showed, because,
like I said, and in the fourth quarter, six seven
minutes left, they started hitting them for big for big yardage.
Once they scored that touchdown, wasn't it was number one
on the reverse t Bow scored that touchdown, It like
(21:23):
the air one out of them because they looked over
like most grown.
Speaker 7 (21:26):
Men dudes familiar Yo, Yo, Russ, Yo, Russ. What's up?
Speaker 14 (21:31):
Man?
Speaker 7 (21:32):
You know we're letting you cooking.
Speaker 13 (21:34):
You can't even flip an egg, bro So, but I'm
telling you they gonna is there three four defense, but
they're gonna always give you four to five men. I
saw one time they brought the safety number eight and
another time they brought the safety number twenty seven.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
So but that that's not all the time they trying
to get at you with four or five guys. Uh.
To me, this is another check your offensive line game.
Speaker 13 (22:06):
Because number our left guard, I know, probably can get
with decks one on one here and there, but it
ain't finna be no every down. My right guard I
don't know, but he will. We will find out. Do
we double him like Washington? Washington didn't play no game.
They doubled him off the start. They weren't playing no
game with decks that should have gave the other guys,
(22:28):
which Burns made some plays earlier. They want whether the
pass option thing, the RPO, and he got them. He
burnt them up early in the game. But this kid
number five, I know it ain't about him, Daniels, but
he made it about him and at first they wouldn't
have won this game without that dude.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
So just all you off that man.
Speaker 6 (22:50):
Yeah, no, you you were man. You were spot on,
and I saw a lot of the same things. It's
just for numbers to put things kind of in perspective.
What Dousta Lawrence did last year in twelve game that
he played the regular season last year, he had nine sacks,
thirty pressures.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
He had ten quick pressures. And what they equate quick
pressures too, is like the timing that he got there.
Speaker 6 (23:11):
Now that ten quick pressures from a guy who's six
foot four, three hundred and forty two pounds, that puts
him in the category with Michael Parsons, Miles Garrett, like
the prime level edge rushers. So think about that that
your d tackle, your nose tackle is in the conversation
with his ability to get to the quarterback and create pressures.
(23:33):
He had forty four total tackles and he had thirty
five stops last year. Now to what Nate was saying
before the Cowboys played them in Week four and Week
thirteen last year, they did exactly what you said, Nate.
They committed two guys to him at all times. And
just to give you what it looks like when Nate's
talking about they play him at the zero, they play
(23:55):
him at the one technique, the three technique. The zero
is I want you to think about this, Think about
this is the center when he's playing zero technique. That
means he is dead smacked lined up in front of
the center, helmet to helmet. He he is, he can
but see all right. So and so, now here's what
he likes to do when he's lined up over top
(24:15):
of the center. And the Giants use him in a zero,
they use him in a one, and they use him
in the three on left and the right side. So
Tyler Smith gonna get some, Tyler Booker gonna get some.
Cooper b b gonna get some.
Speaker 7 (24:28):
Just know that it is he is.
Speaker 6 (24:30):
They use him as an equal opportunity employer. He gonna
give everybody and and so, yes, and he gets into
this stance and it's a it's a big old wise
and he he he gets into this one technique where
he shaded over the outside shoulder of the center and
he's and I tell you, he is nose up on
(24:52):
that football.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
He is nose up on that football.
Speaker 6 (24:56):
And what makes him so good is that at three
one hundred and forty two pounds, he is cat like
quick and he is gorilla strong. That ball is snapped,
he is on you. And there was plays last year
with man the ball was snapped. Let's just say the
balls on the twenty five yard line, right, the ball
(25:19):
is on the twenty five yard line. You hear us
talk about sometimes recreating the line of scrimmage. You want
your offensive lineman to recreate the line of scrimmage, meaning
if the ball's on the twenty five, when the ball
is snapped, I want to get such great push is
that their new line is set back further closer to
their linebacker, so that our running back is getting untouched.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Further down the field.
Speaker 6 (25:45):
Defensive line, they want to recreate the line of scrimmage
by pushing you back from where the ball was initially snapped.
And boy, he had some plays against the Cowboys where
he jacked up Cooper BB. I'm talking about from the
snap and you just see him. He gets in that
gorilla stance and when he jacks him up, you see
him he press him from last year? Yeah, and he
(26:08):
presses him and before you know it, if the balls
on the twenty five, the center's then on the twenty four.
And now what is that done? Okay, if my guard
is not facing that pressure, right, the guard nine till
ten is going to help down. His job is to
help push this tackle back onto the center. But what
(26:29):
happens is he's pushed the centers back so far and
the guard is sitting up here. They've created the uneven
levels in the offensive line. And then now at three
hundred and forty two pounds, he gets skinny. This is
where he gets This is way he gets quick on
you because now he went from quick power back to
quick again.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
So he's got a gap, so he'll slide in there
and then he gets big again.
Speaker 6 (26:50):
So now he's sitting in that a gap and you're
running back is looking at a three hundred and forty
two pounds dude saying, they ain't no where I can
go right here.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
That's so wall you're gonna either cut back too soon.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
So so it sounds like normally your offensive line dictates
where you're running back goes. It sounds like he dictates
the offensive line because he's so strong and is able
to push guy.
Speaker 6 (27:09):
He is and that and that's it's he's unusual because
you don't see size, strength and speed all in one.
Speaker 7 (27:20):
And one more thing flexibility. You don't look flexible.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Watch you dance he does.
Speaker 7 (27:27):
Yeah, yeah, he'll get you know.
Speaker 6 (27:31):
I was the name came to my mind and I
saw some clips the other day. But like Jerome Brown, right,
like that's right, because why he big? He was strong
and that's what that's what that's what he brings. And
in addition to that, when you start talking about now
and this is this is how this defensive line is done.
(27:52):
Shane Bowen's a defensive coordinator. When you get that level
of push in the middle of this offensive line from
one dude, now it shrinks my edges just a little bit.
And now you have guys like Brian Burns, you have
(28:13):
guys like Kbon Thibodeau, you have the young pup Abdual Carter.
Speaker 7 (28:18):
And I agree with you, he's still learning.
Speaker 13 (28:21):
He's still learning, still learning, man, Yeah, because he played
a little off the ball lineback a little bit too.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
So which one this is?
Speaker 6 (28:29):
This is the this is the like the Michael Parson's
two point Oho went to pit State War number eleven,
here's number fifty one.
Speaker 7 (28:34):
Now for for the what you said, what you said,
what you say.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
But that's where your focus starts. First.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
It starts first with sexy dexy, and then now you
start working yourself out. I know y'all don't want me
to say this. I know people like our tackles had
trouble last week. Thanks, thanks that your quarterback is and
has great pocket awareness, and that's one of the things
that people don't talk enough about Dake Prescott is his
(29:05):
pocket awareness. It's just subtle movements. He feels pressure, he
steps up, steps to the side. That gives that tackle
a chance. Now because he got beat to the outside.
When he steps up and steps to that left, the
tackle now can get back on that block. He ain't
just standing back there and retreating and allowing that rush
in to keep coming. Dak will step up, he'll step
(29:25):
to the side, he'll buy a little bit more time,
and he'll liver the ball. Those things are some of
the quality that he had that don't talk about a lot.
But when you get that pressure in the middle and
these guys are coming off the edge, your tackle struggled
last week, and if you truly go back and watch
the film, you had about six or seven times where
you were holding your breath because you were like, ooh, okay,
(29:48):
he got it away, like he got beats, he got
beat quick inside. And we've given Tyler guy in some love.
And he's one of those players where we're grading him.
We've been grading him on the curve a little bit
because it was so it was so bad last year.
(30:09):
He had no training camp. So if it doesn't look
like it did last year, we count that as a win.
And there's still some things that you've shown. And I
think Nate made a great point and maybe he's talking
to me personally when he talked about Tyler gut and
being conditioned. Yes you hear though the Bill Parcel Jimmy
Johnson said that fatigue will make cowards of us all.
(30:31):
And when you get tired, you lose your technique. And
for a guy who's not technically sound, you can see
when Tyler Guyton gets a little bit winded, he gets
the leaning that head get the dropping. You can't lean
against these dudes. They're too quick, they're too strong.
Speaker 14 (30:48):
You know.
Speaker 6 (30:49):
Sometimes he tries to beat the guy so quick outside,
but he can't recover back inside. So like that's the
cat and mouse game that he has to play with
these guys now because they're humming abdual car Brian and
he's going to get a healthy dose because that's what
Brian Burns lines up over top of the left tackle.
Uh Terry Steele, who had some opportunities where he struggled
last week, You're gonna get a heavy dose about dual
(31:10):
Carter and uh and.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Tab Thibodeau.
Speaker 13 (31:16):
Yeah, listen, still listen. Number eight, number zero Brian Brian Burns. Yes,
this dude loves the handgame. He loves to tap your
hands and slap your hands. And I mean he'll do
it hard.
Speaker 7 (31:32):
He'll tap him, he'll ride you around.
Speaker 14 (31:35):
Do not.
Speaker 7 (31:37):
Do not lean, keep your body.
Speaker 13 (31:40):
In front of him, because all he wants you to
do is when he taped your hands, he wants you
to try to lean.
Speaker 7 (31:46):
And when you lean, game over.
Speaker 13 (31:48):
You got to stay mirrord. You got to stay mirror
you got when he taped your hand, Get that other
one on him when he taping nothing, and get it on.
If he's trying to swing you just step back, man,
reset yourself, get ready to run, snap your hips around.
Speaker 7 (32:03):
And run with a hand on his butt.
Speaker 11 (32:06):
Bro.
Speaker 7 (32:07):
I mean, I don't want to be like the boy
from Don't be the booty Tickler, but.
Speaker 13 (32:13):
You gotta put your hand on that back hip and run.
You gotta run, man.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Now zero can get it their secondary.
Speaker 5 (32:20):

Speaker 4 (35:44):
I don't pass that over there, bro, I'm trying to
pass that job off of me. No, I'm good.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
Oh, we did ask Chris in the before the show
started if we if there's another show that gives each
other as much crap as we do, and he.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
Said absolutely not that I don't know if they can
handle that.
Speaker 7 (36:04):
Yeah, I'm going to hr.
Speaker 5 (36:07):
Why do you think we like because we mess with
each other pretty hard sometimes. We have never been upset
at each other, like to where it carried on.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
After the show, like off the air?
Speaker 7 (36:18):
What's that for, swear jar?
Speaker 4 (36:19):
No, that's your race for you.
Speaker 7 (36:24):
We tried to cover the whole day. You got twenty five.
Speaker 5 (36:28):
We've been together seven years and we've never had nobody's
ever been mad at somebody.
Speaker 6 (36:33):
We're dudes, Like, we're dude dudes, you know what I'm saying. Like,
I'm not saying the other guys aren't dudes or women.
Speaker 8 (36:39):
But we were hanging.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Yeah, we hanging like we're boys. Like that's a difference.
We're boys.
Speaker 7 (36:45):
I mean we truly hanging. Yeah. Yeah, a lot of
people that you know, it goes up a little bit,
you know, but we hanging.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Is that dude, the age or like seven kids or what.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
I don't know, man, We're just we're dudes. Man, we
get it.
Speaker 7 (37:01):
We get it.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
That isn't nobody is trying to disrespect me or disre right.
Speaker 12 (37:07):
We have a good time, man, because we got egos, sure,
you know, but we never like we've never taken offense
to anything anybody said on the.
Speaker 6 (37:17):
Air because we know it's all we know it's not.
It's not personal, right, it's just fun. We just know
we're having fun.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
And I think I think we respect each other off
the air, so we're able to like take it and
give it. It's like, it's not.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
It's never personal except.
Speaker 15 (37:34):
Busier and.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Friday'll be ready.
Speaker 2 (37:40):
Except for when they when they came after Kurt last week.
Speaker 7 (37:44):
That's about no.
Speaker 13 (37:44):
No, just I was not gonna let him, uh not
understand what was going on. I knew he was adamant,
but I'm like, if you let me explain. Now, not
eight percent or not five percent of the players do
go through the Asians, you know, not so much as
they skept mister Joan. They love talking to him as
they know they agen they gonna get.
Speaker 7 (38:04):
Paid all that.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
It was great with gods where Kurt goes, no, I
don't agree, and I'm like, wait a minute, Nate's been
in the room like they.
Speaker 7 (38:13):
It's all good, but uh, what what about these dvs?
You think they're gonna be real quick.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
Is that Clarence hill On?
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Yeah, this is the old club pop pop right here?
Speaker 2 (38:24):
What is what with that pose?
Speaker 7 (38:26):
So this is this is old.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
Clarence hill right here. This is my guy, Clarence Hills.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
You know, I've never seen him without a beard.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
We do another show, uh together to deal.
Speaker 7 (38:35):
Even when he was young, he wasn't built good.
Speaker 6 (38:37):
Let him you let him tell. He said, lay at
the bars, be like you're gonna athletic Bill. I'll be like,
stop lying. I ain't never said that to you.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
So yeah, so he is, uh, you know, he always
wants to go by chill right. I'm like or unk.
I'm like, you're not unk, you're sixty.
Speaker 6 (38:54):
You're pop, like your pop. And so I said that
like last year and we started the show and it
just stuck. And then he has a song kind of
like so they got It's called club pop pop. And
and you know Nate, not Nate, but Clarence. He be outside.
Speaker 4 (39:11):
Clarence is outside as a young kids say.
Speaker 6 (39:14):
He everywhere you you I'm telling you you you gotta
be You need a nap if you plan on hanging
out with that joker.
Speaker 7 (39:22):
He goes brouh.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
And been doing it multiple.
Speaker 6 (39:26):
Nights a week. It'd be Tuesday. You look at your
eleven thirty. You look at your your your Twitter. He
had the cigar bar.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
It looks somewhere else. He had a function over here.
He had to marry out here. You were like, when
do you sleep?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Cost of Doing Business.
Speaker 13 (39:44):
Were in Atlanta last year for the for the Black
College Hall of Fame thing. Get my phone light up?
Speaker 7 (39:51):
Hey, man, can you get me a past? Chill man?
Like everywhere everywhere everywhere.
Speaker 6 (39:58):
Man called him club pop pop and they always ask you.
So the VIP is called the Lotion Lounge.
Speaker 4 (40:05):
Lotion Loune.
Speaker 6 (40:07):
We had a call We had a caller one time
on YouTube you could donate. Super Chats donated fifty dollars
just to make sure, just to get Clarence to moisturize
on the air.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
That's how I actually you want he said to fifty.
Speaker 6 (40:22):
We did it freaking might be, Hey, I need to
set that up because you know we'll do you know,
money on this show for Yeah, but you know super
Chats ain't going to us, No, they going that's going
going to the man.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Yeah, going upstairs. All right, So your question was about
the secondary.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
My question to y'all, is does anybody on their secondary
in their secondary scare you?
Speaker 2 (40:43):
And is this an opportunity to have not only one
receiver go off this week, but two?
Speaker 13 (40:49):
This is what for Jesse get crunk up. We have
to be able to run the ball effectively because I
want to bring number eight down in the box. And
that may be crazy, uh Von Harland, I want to
(41:10):
bring him and he's a dangerous tackler.
Speaker 7 (41:13):
Now he can he can tackle. But I just I
don't know.
Speaker 13 (41:16):
I just think from what I saw that little quarterback
do and I'm saying little quarterback, big boy Daniels, do
you know, I don't think they can cover.
Speaker 7 (41:25):
I don't think they can cover what we got. I
don't think they can cover what we got.
Speaker 13 (41:28):
Speci if we take one of them safeties and put
them down in the box, don't give them no help.
Speaker 7 (41:32):
Leave him at their button neckd freeze.
Speaker 6 (41:35):
I don't think this will be one of the games
where the running game gets off because they are two
and twenty rushing yards against the Washington Commanders. But you
have to equate for the guy that Nick's talking about.
We don't have Jaydon Daniels like our quarterback A lot
he ain't Jayden in the athleticism department.
Speaker 4 (41:57):
Yes he's not, so he doesn't holds that threat.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
He run one time last week.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
Who that that? And that looked like it hurt right
like it looked like he.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Dak from six years ago.
Speaker 6 (42:09):
He runs like Lebron Jane. He got his feet going
the wrong way. His feet go out. He got wattle feet.
Speaker 13 (42:14):
That's why I never understand how Lebron cond drive that
ball man. I always think he's gonna put bouncing on
his feet.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
He got wide wattle feet. They don't go they don't
go straight with that run, feet go.
Speaker 7 (42:24):
Out that way.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
What's the opposite of pigeon toes?
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Dun duck footed, dun duck footed?
Speaker 7 (42:34):
They need to But Donald, when he was little, they
didn't put him in the.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
Little white baby shoes. You got to have a little
white baby shoes. Yeah, they didn't do that for him.
Speaker 8 (42:49):
Yeah, but they didn't. They didn't have They don't have
lamb and pickings Washington.
Speaker 14 (42:53):
No.
Speaker 6 (42:53):
And that's why we're gonna eat You think I think
that's can go off if shoddy, if I'm shoddy, which
I'm not, but if I was, I'm digging into my
screen game and here's why, because the only way unless
you plan on going twelve personnel twenty one personnel where
you you're gonna.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
Block it up.
Speaker 6 (43:15):
You're either gonna have two tight ends or two backs
and you're gonna block that thing up. Hey, one running back,
you go over there, tight end, you go over there.
Speaker 4 (43:21):
We chip it.
Speaker 6 (43:23):
And you just run two two man routes pickings and CD.
If you plan on going three four five hour receivers.
To me, that puts you in a very dangerous situations.
I don't believe that your tackle will be able to
hold up. So I think the screen game is great
(43:44):
because those tackles, those ends, they humming and they run themselves.
At times they run themselves out of the play. So
getting the screen game going, it just makes them palls
for a second. Bubble screens, running back screens, shoot screens,
things where you're a it's an extension of.
Speaker 4 (44:03):
The running game.
Speaker 7 (44:04):
Right.
Speaker 6 (44:04):
It's a long handoff. You don't have the backs that
have enough juice. Now, maybe I don't know if it
blew a player or not, but Javonte's gonna be a
hard nose back. He ain't jumping holes, he ain't jump
cutting all that kind of stuff. He's gonna run right
in there and he's gonna get what he can get
and drive forward. He's gonna run to a wall a lot.
Speaker 7 (44:24):
I think.
Speaker 6 (44:26):
If they find a way where they can block this
thing up. Barbecue chicken, barbecue jerk chicken. So not not one,
not one, not Javon Hollins, you come get some two
not one.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
This should be a day.
Speaker 6 (44:46):
Honestly, when we look back on it, where we see
CD we see the first iteration of Ceede Lamb and
George Pickens have one hundred yard.
Speaker 7 (44:55):
Days and all you cry babies, I'm waiting on.
Speaker 6 (45:01):
This secondary, this secondary, this secondary, it's it's it's.
Speaker 13 (45:08):
This is the scary part. This to what you're saying this,
this is the scary part number five and number zero.
It's a race to whether C. D Pickings can get.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
Open before they before they get they need to guess.
Speaker 7 (45:26):
So that's right. You got to have a good screen
game and a good draw game, a good draw game.
Speaker 13 (45:33):
If you got a good draw game, you can you know, Jesse,
why is it I need to just read more articles
on fantasy football with the other guys, because then I
just think that the game is over.
Speaker 4 (45:47):
But I watched them. I'm out watch.
Speaker 7 (45:52):
I don't know what you're doing.
Speaker 4 (45:53):
I know what you're doing. It's trying to hold the show.
Speaker 7 (45:56):
Take a shot a man because they come with Hanging
with the boys.
Speaker 6 (46:02):
The mother folks might get offended. And everybody everybody don't see.
Speaker 7 (46:05):
Well, when we sit down, it's holes and I chills.
You get what I'm saying. Yeah, we're hanging babies. Everybody else,
sit down. It's just a flat cross chip, just three
three three dents right in the chick.
Speaker 17 (46:18):
All right, tomorrow, right now, Miss Kalisha, Tomorrow what Cowboys defense,
