that they're in the middle of the pack. Their stats

One of the linebackers is the leading socker. You know,

same position that they are. You got two teams that
are desperate, one team that knows how to play in
a desperate mode, the other team, Cowboys learning how to

Okay, offensively, I think this team it's a dangerous offense,
right because Andy Rees your your your head coach slash
offensive coordinator. He and Matt Naggie work, you know, hand
in hand. So he's one of the best, right He's
He'll go down as arguably, if not number two, behind
Bill Belichick, pushing Bill Belichick. If Patrick Mahons can get

him up there in the Super Bowl wins unorthodox. This
offense has been kind of this year. Part of the
reason being just the injuries they've Offensively, you had Rashid Rice,
who was their extra receiver there one, their wide receiver one.
They don't have this that we have here, right, Rashid Rice,

he was suspended for five or six games early in
the year because of his incident here in Dallas on
the highway. And then you know, so now you have
Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown is injured, he's hurt not
you know, he's always back and forth, So Travis Kelce,
he's getting along in the tooth. They're running backs are
going in and out. Pa Chucko's and Pa Checko's out
and creams in Kareem's out. So they've all they've been

dealing a lot of injuries up front, back end, receivers,
and so now to Nate point, like you were saying earlier,
they're coming together and starting to win a little bit
more because these guys have had a chance to start
playing together as a whole. Now they'll be without they're

was coming back off injuries.

about to face a conundrum is Matt Eberflus has found
this new love of the five man front, right, and

with the five man front, you now have to start
making some decisions because before the five man front was Colmos,
it was a throw in. It's like, hey, we're a
four man front, but I'll throw a fifth guy in
there if I need to. He has full on adopted
this whole five man front thing kind of started in Denver.

You saw started in Denver.

Then the trade and stuff, all that happened and really
ramped it up against the Raiders, and it was on
full on display against the Philadelphia Eagles. Like, so he's
kind of adopted this thing.

What percentage of plays did they run five man front?

We know man out from like watching it over seventy wow?
Like so like you you do anything in the seventy
eighty percentile, that's who you are, right, So what makes
this difficult is because let's just through simple math, eleven
men play on defense, eleven men play on offense. Right,
So if I got a five man front. With the
five man front, you're usually gonna have two high safeties

and two cornerbacks. Five two and two is nine. So
now you got two guys left. And you watch the
Philadelphia game and they ran this in the variation of
sometimes they're gonna go just one single linebacker and a nickel.
Sometimes they're going two traditional linebackers no nickel, meaning that

they'll have a five man front, but then they'll drop
ezeraku in the coverage. Right, they'll line them up there,
but then he's responsible for dropping out playing coverage. Well,
Philadelphia doesn't run many eleven man personnels. The Raiders didn't
run a lot of eleven man personnel. Neither kind of
(23:50):
did Denver, Kansas City's gonna run eleven man personnel.

How do you defend it? Because if you're going to run.
Speaker 11 (23:59):
Zone, you're gonna be in trouble because you're not gonna
be able to get the pressure a four man front.
Zone pressure. You're not gonna be able to get the
pressure on Patrick Mahomes. And Rashie Rice is little like
his Rashi Rice when he has to go and play
and catch Patrick and zone is up here, it's actually
(24:19):
lower for him. In man coverage, he struggles more man
covers catching the ball than he does in zone cover.
He eats him up in zone coverage. So I'm looking
at that and I'm saying, Okay, how are the Cowboys
going to maintain being able to stop the run. If
they're gonna go on the five man front, how are
they gonna play it on the back end? Because if
you don't get to Patrick Mahomes And now he's sitting

back there and he's letting you know, Travis Kelcey and
they've told you this time and time before, is sometimes
we just run our own little backyard routes. He know me,
I know him and I'm supposed to do a hook
and I'm running the out because I just thought it
was open.

They are a middle of the road team. Defensively, they
are middle of the road twenty two sacks, not a

points allowed, sorry, Shannon, they're nine point scored, but fourth

had to happen for them to You don't just lose

just saying, be weary of them because their record indicates
that they're in the middle of the pack. Their stats
does not indicate that, but they are. Like, normally they
would have more sack than this, you know they don't.
One of the linebackers is the leading socker. You know,
so with three or four. So my thing is this

same position that they are. You got two teams that
are desperate, one team that knows how to play in
a desperate mode, the other team, Cowboys learning how to

they are better. They I think that they can match
us offensively. I'm talking about our offense versus their offense.

would like to share what people is and well I

right because Andy Rees your your your head coach slash
offensive coordinator. He and Matt Naggie work, you know, hand
in hand. So he's one of the best, right He's
He'll go down as arguably, if not number two, behind
Bill Belichick, pushing Bill Belichick. If Patrick Mahons can get

him up there in the Super Bowl wins unorthodox. This
offense has been kind of this year. Part of the
reason being just the injuries they've Offensively, you had Rashid Rice,
who was their extra receiver there one, their wide receiver one.
They don't have this that we have here, right, Rashid Rice,

he was suspended for five or six games early in
the year because of his incident here in Dallas on
the highway. And then you know, so now you have
Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown is injured, he's hurt not
you know, he's always back and forth, So Travis Kelce,
he's getting along in the tooth. They're running backs are
going in and out. Pa Chucko's and Pa Checko's out
and creams in Kareem's out. So they've all they've been

dealing a lot of injuries up front, back end, receivers,
and so now to Nate point, like you were saying earlier,
they're coming together and starting to win a little bit
more because these guys have had a chance to start
playing together as a whole. Now they'll be without they're
starting right guard Tray Smith, he'll be out of this game. Him,

Noah Gray and another one I know, Isaiah Pa Chucko
was coming back off injuries.

and defensively, like so offensively they're gonna run that. But
where I'm a little bit worried is and where we're
about to face a conundrum is Matt Eberflus has found
this new love of the five man front, right, and

with the five man front, you now have to start
making some decisions because before the five man front was Colmos,
it was a throw in. It's like, hey, we're a
four man front, but I'll throw a fifth guy in
there if I need to. He has full on adopted
this whole five man front thing kind of started in Denver.

You saw started in Denver.
Speaker 11 (22:33):
Then the trade and stuff, all that happened and really
ramped it up against the Raiders, and it was on
full on display against the Philadelphia Eagles. Like, so he's
kind of adopted this thing.
Speaker 10 (22:44):
What percentage of plays did they run five man front?
Speaker 11 (22:47):
We know man out from like watching it over seventy wow?
Like so like you you do anything in the seventy
eighty percentile, that's who you are, right, So what makes
this difficult is because let's just through simple math, eleven
men play on defense, eleven men play on offense. Right,
So if I got a five man front. With the
five man front, you're usually gonna have two high safeties
(23:09):
and two cornerbacks. Five two and two is nine. So
now you got two guys left. And you watch the
Philadelphia game and they ran this in the variation of
sometimes they're gonna go just one single linebacker and a nickel.
Sometimes they're going two traditional linebackers no nickel, meaning that
(23:29):
they'll have a five man front, but then they'll drop
ezeraku in the coverage. Right, they'll line them up there,
but then he's responsible for dropping out playing coverage. Well,
Philadelphia doesn't run many eleven man personnels. The Raiders didn't
run a lot of eleven man personnel. Neither kind of
(23:50):
did Denver, Kansas City's gonna run eleven man personnel.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
How do you defend it? Because if you're going to run.
Speaker 11 (23:59):
Zone, you're gonna be in trouble because you're not gonna
be able to get the pressure a four man front.
Zone pressure. You're not gonna be able to get the
pressure on Patrick Mahomes. And Rashie Rice is little like
his Rashi Rice when he has to go and play
and catch Patrick and zone is up here, it's actually
(24:19):
lower for him. In man coverage, he struggles more man
covers catching the ball than he does in zone cover.
He eats him up in zone coverage. So I'm looking
at that and I'm saying, Okay, how are the Cowboys
going to maintain being able to stop the run. If
they're gonna go on the five man front, how are
they gonna play it on the back end? Because if
you don't get to Patrick Mahomes And now he's sitting
(24:41):
back there and he's letting you know, Travis Kelcey and
they've told you this time and time before, is sometimes
we just run our own little backyard routes. He know me,
I know him and I'm supposed to do a hook
and I'm running the out because I just thought it
was open.

And now Patrick mahomes back there.
Speaker 11 (24:55):
You know, he dancing around and now you get hit
because you Travis Kelson and found the zone that you
ain't covering, and now he's up the field. So that's
going to be the thing for me when I look
at what they do offensively and had eleven man personnel,
They're going to try to establish the run. So Kareem Hunt,
Isaiah Pachuco, that's gonna try to happen. I hope the
