you're injecting CD back into an off so it's already
number one in the NFL.

And I think there's there's a lot of excitement around
what Ceed's gonna be able to bring back because it
opens up the entire receiving corps, not only CD, but
George Pickens, Cavante Turp and Jake Ferguson.

Allows them to do multiple things. But CD is just eager.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
It was weird for him to watch those games over
the course of the last couple of weeks, whether it
was him on the sideline or him at home. He said,
it was really tough and it was funny. When George
Pickens had his hurdle a couple of weeks or last
week against Carolina, he texted him right after it Happened's like,
I knew he wasn't gonna get it right then, he
was gonna have to reply later, but I had to
text him right there.

I think that kind of shows our friendship, though.

I think that's unique we asked Dak and CD about
you know what they would say to Jerry Jones if
you know it was brought to them, if they wanted
to keep George Pickens around, And obviously both of them
are very much in favor of that, and as.

They should be.

It helps both of their games out overall. Even though
you know, you go back to that twenty twenty three
season that Ceedee Lamb had the seventeen hundred plus yards,
the one hundred and twenty four receptions, He's not going to.

Get that with George Pickens around ever again. But I
think it understood.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
He can understand that it's going to help his overall
game and make him a better pound for pound receiver
based on what his stats will be at the end
of the season, based on you know, winning, and sadly
they're not doing much of that.

It's not so much.

Honestly, how can we measure George Pickens adding wins when
this defense.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Is just so bad.

I would look at it this way, could see the
Lamb be the difference in four points and then from
a defensive standpoint, Carolina rocking their safety up and you know,
being able to stop the run game that that that's
a different, different kind of defensive alignment that you gotta see.
Speaker 6 (09:35):
Well beyond the can they score more points and win
more games if he's part of the offense, the other
part of it is can they get a lead again
like they played you know under Mike McCarthy in twenty
twenty three, twenty twenty two, where they had these big
leads and their opponents for the most part, became one dimensional.
That would help the defense if they didn't have to
try to defend both the pass and the run, although
(09:57):
we've seen instances where they're capable of defending neither. A
lot of examples of that. I mean, what Caleb Williams
had a career game where go doubt well at a
career game. Russell Wilson at a career game.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
I was just going to say, you know, even if
you you know, against the Giants, the Cowboys are out here,
you know, going down the field, but they couldn't get
to Russell you know, back then, back back.
Speaker 3 (10:15):

If somebody got to yoa you know you you were,
you were here that you're old enough to remember that
you were there. Even though Jerry said that's probably the

before they traded Micah, but it has not proven to

takes you to get to a front seven or a
defensive lineman on tackles. Yeah, like, I bet it's tenth
or deeper before you get to one.

How about the most amazing stat I think on defense
as bad as the defensive spend that two guys who
led the NFL and interceptions under Dan Win, Trayvon Diggs
and Theron Bland not only don't have an interception, they
haven't gotten their hands on a ball in six weeks.

There was an interception negated by a penalty.

It was weird for him to watch those games over
the course of the last couple of weeks, whether it
was him on the sideline or him at home. He said,

week against Carolina, he texted him right after it Happened's like,
I knew he wasn't gonna get it right then, he
was gonna have to reply later, but I had to
text him right there.

I think that's unique we asked Dak and CD about
you know what they would say to Jerry Jones if
you know it was brought to them, if they wanted
to keep George Pickens around, And obviously both of them

It helps both of their games out overall. Even though
you know, you go back to that twenty twenty three
season that Ceedee Lamb had the seventeen hundred plus yards,

think it understood.

He can understand that it's going to help his overall
game and make him a better pound for pound receiver
based on what his stats will be at the end
of the season, based on you know, winning, and sadly
they're not doing much of that.

Honestly, how can we measure George Pickens adding wins when
this defense.

Is just so bad.

I would look at it this way, could see the
Lamb be the difference in four points and then from
a defensive standpoint, Carolina rocking their safety up and you know,
being able to stop the run game that that that's
a different, different kind of defensive alignment that you gotta see.
Speaker 6 (09:35):
Well beyond the can they score more points and win
more games if he's part of the offense, the other
part of it is can they get a lead again
like they played you know under Mike McCarthy in twenty
twenty three, twenty twenty two, where they had these big
leads and their opponents for the most part, became one dimensional.
That would help the defense if they didn't have to
try to defend both the pass and the run, although
(09:57):
we've seen instances where they're capable of defending neither. A
lot of examples of that. I mean, what Caleb Williams
had a career game where go doubt well at a
career game. Russell Wilson at a career game.

I was just going to say, you know, even if
you you know, against the Giants, the Cowboys are out here,
you know, going down the field, but they couldn't get
to Russell you know, back then, back back.
