of Miami at home in college station. Yeah, you'll be
on the sideline.

I don't know, man, I just sent out that text
message earlier and they said we might have you on
the game. Tickets with the sideline passes college football.

They didn't took.

Over, so we'll see, man, we'll see what you know,
maybe because of the trooper, they probably was like, hey man,
we got to make sure we got our people at
the side of.

So what happens is when these games, so people think, hey,
it's a home game. It's a home game, but the
college football Playoff runs it. Yeah, it's kind of like
when the when the playoffs happened. It's a cowboy game,
but the NFL starts getting involved and as you go deeper,
like that's like the NFC Championship game, they come in,
they take the building up, They got a whole bunch
of stuff. So yeah, it's like when the NBA Finals.

Remember when the mass played the NBA Finals. A lot
of people are like, hey, look, the league, we don't
get to do what we normally do. Like the league
took over the arena. This is their production. So Trey
one of those things where what they normally will do
for you. Hey man, we're playing you know, Auburn, and
it's regularly they don't get to do that now because
they get to come in and institute whatever rules they want.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
I'm glad you explained it, because one, I feel like
I'm not that prima donna when it comes to things.
So like I know where the pegan oorder is. I'd
be like, hey, can y'all just give me here?

So the fact that I'm always so gracious with asking
them for that. They always accommodate me and like make sure, hey,
you know these are going to be the extra tickets, this,
that and the third, and so for her to tell
me right off the back, she was like, Hey, this
is how it is. I'm gonna let you know as
the time go on. But yeah, he said, I'm just
happy to be there in the build.

Man, y'all might have a cooler. I'm not sweet or
something like that. Anyway, That's why.

I said, I'm gonna go to the Letterman's Club if
you being because you go under that the stadium. They
have the whole thing decked out where you can get food,
drinks and hold boys in there and it's warm.

But but it's the first time everybody coming, Yeah, everybody.
People ain't seen in the mid and everybody coming that exactly.

I'm gonna tell you like this, If DA calls hey,
they answer, it's three people over there that Miles Garrett
and von Miller and Mike.

But but with those four right there, those four being
active players and stuff like that, they are untouchable.

son's on the team and he's gonna be there, so you.

Gotta get him what he needs. Agis take care of

Super Bowl played in with the Tight and you know,
he played the Rams in Atlanta and I come out
pregame and you know, we're going through our stuff and
my dad is on the sideline.

Right and I'm like, what you doing on the sideline?

Speaker 6 (04:12):
And he had worked out something with some network and
that he said, Look, they asked me to do something
for him. I told him, like, if they would let
me do it from the field, So I can come
down here and be with you before the game.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
So I'm like, okay, cool national anthem. My dad is.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Standing next to me still like security was trying to
get him off the field. He wouldn't go there, bro,
I look at him. He bawling, tears streaming down his face.
So pro do you right now?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I was like, you got to go. This is dope moment.
But we can't have this one right now.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
You got to go, you know what I mean? But
it was still was.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
It was awesome. And I've tried to find the footage.
I've asked for it and like nobody, I haven't. I
haven't received it yet. I'm hoping that one day I
actually get that because I don't know how. Too many
guys that actually have that experience apparent on the side.

At this point in time, they unless they go get
ten and then hope other people falter, this thing is
gonna be and wrapped. Nine won't do it. You're gonna
have to get to ten at this point time. And
you start looking around the tie breakers and everything. Man,
it's this thing is just they've they've dropped too many

tough games. The Arizona game is going to one. They're
gonna look back. I think there's like maybe ten of
eleven games and the one, the one win with the
Cowboy and in Arlington, in Arlington to Kobe Burssett, that was.

I was just a dagger, right, That's the only that's
but that's the only one that could really be a dagger.
When you start to go back and look at some
of these, like you look at the Bears, they were
number one this past week.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
The Panthers they doing what they're doing.

So it's like, is it really like those because I
know you were counting on those games.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
You're getting that Carolina Arizona for sure in the Packer
game and you're right there, you you had them three
games Arizona. Excuse them, that's an excuse him at the
crib Philly, you had the ball to go down the
field and win the game and you don't get it done.
And then the Packer game, you had them dead to

write and you let them come back. You know, these
are three games right there that they'll look back if
you're Brian shot him in the staff and you say, man,
we have to figure out twenty twenty six. How do
we get those? You're gonna have to win on the road. Yeah,
And and Rick Gozen once told me, he said, look,
if if you're trying to build a football team, the
first thing you need to figure out is who is
winning the division and how do you build your team

to beat that team that's winning the division. So out
the NFC West, you've seen Sean Payton and Denver. How
do we beat Denver? That's what they tried to build
their foot both. I mean, I mean, how do we
beat Kansas City? I should say Kansas City has been
the king as we saw last night lost to Houston.
You guys had the bets there and I was the
only pool who went in Kant's city. But they built
their team. How do we go take out the Chiefs?

(07:27):
Gotta go do that. And when Jimmy Johnson was trying
to when he took over the Cowboy was like, how
do you beat Washington? How do you beat the Giants?
These are the teams who win the Super Bowls. Here,
You've got to do that. And if I'm Brian Shine,
how do I go and win it at Philly? You
can win at home. They went home against me pretty
much any anybody you know, they are pretty good at
winning at home. But how do you go beat a
Philly on the road. Because it looks right now, I

know Philly's got the charges tonight. This is They're gonna
win this division again, need one of two more victories
and it's a rap.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
And I feel like offensively, the Cowboys have the firepower
to match up with not only Philly, but anybody in
the National Football League. I just think on that defensive
side of the football, you have the building blocks. Now,
you got the defensive line, at least the interior part.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Like that's solid.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
You got three four defensive tackles into that you can
just throw in there, and the level of play is high.
You got some guys off of the edge that maybe
you can get better in that category. But to me,
it's got to be that secondary to me going forward,
and you know there's four games left here, but you've
got to be able to.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Get better in the back end.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
I mean, whether it's you know, getting different younger pieces
in whatever the case may be, developing those younger guys,
but if you want to compete in the NFC and
the NFL overall, you got to have.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
That secondary in place.

Speaker 7 (08:36):
Man, the linebackers, I think what the Cowboys have.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
And when I say this, I mean part of the secondary.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
Bland coming off of injury last year, Dig still being hurt,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
And we know this as players. It doesn't matter how
it hurt you are.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Once you go out there and you put that on film, Hey,
they ain't judging you off your injury.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
They judging you off your play, you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (08:59):
And So with that being said, like I don't know
if that's a scapegoat for one of the two or
maybe for both of them to maybe have some I
guess you could say some longevity to be in here
a little bit longer. But yeah, that that that the
secondary definitely has to get better.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Let me add on to that. When you talk about secondary,
and it's his name, when I bring this up, walking.
They missed Jordan.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Lewis, They are missing him, and you do what is
it You do not realize your young son heroes until
they are gone.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
Dude, you just hit the nail on the head because
I did not realize how good of a nickel he was.
But just not that like a team leader obviously too
as well. And yeah, he's he's drastically missed.

Speaker 7 (09:44):
And he's a communicator, like you're the guy like when
you're at that nickel spot, you gotta be able to
talk to your safeties and your corners. So when they
get you in those bunch those bunch packages or you
got motion coming across, he was the guy communicating to
the linebackers, sorry, bump over, or if it's man and man,
I'm taking them all the way across, y'all can boss
over and in and out versus the running backs.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
And then when you get those bunchs.

Speaker 7 (10:04):
But he's the guy that's either gonna be on the
point saying, you know, the other two corners in the safety,
y'all in and out this.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
But he was that guy.

Speaker 7 (10:10):
He was that dog that they needed in the secondary
all year long.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
And one people don't realize is when you talk about
that nickel position. It's so pivotal and swinging. When you're
talking about it, you're talking about him standing right there.
He's talking from your corner over there to your linebackers,
letting you know that it's okay to do that. But
not only is he doing that in this defense and
most defenses, your nickels are the guys that blitz it.
So guess what he has to come up there and
talk to us as the d lineman and say, hey,

(10:34):
bump in, or this is what I see, or hey,
can you hush rush a little bit tighter? And the
one thing that we've all been talking about is who
is that dog? Who is that guy that could sit
there and galvanize the truth. And we said, hey, who's
gonna talk to them? We got that in Cinton Williams.
But you don't realize Jay Lou was doing that. You've
seen him having the energy hitting people and telling people,
hey man, we can't play like this, or stepping.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Up to be that guy.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
So you're talking about a Jacksonville team where he went to.
They've won five of their last six foot they're in
first place in their division, and their defense is playing well.
Defense defense gave up nineteen points to the Colts and
they put the Danny Dives went out of the game.
A week before that, they hold the Titans to three

points of me. So, so he's not only gone from
the Cowboys, they haven't replaced him, and he's gone and helped
another team and looks like pretty much so at barring
a collapse, the Jaguars should be making the playoffs.

Do y'all think?

Speaker 7 (11:30):
Let me ask all everybody here, do y'all think that's
part of the problem with the Cowboys is the fact
that they overvalue the talent that they who do have
in the building. Like they're letting a guy like Jordan
Lewis go ahead and walk in free agency, and they're
thinking that they could just elevate the next guy up,
Like hell, I've seen that time and time to get
the linebacker position. You know, they let guys go and
then oh yeah, we'll you know, get guys up within

(11:53):
the building, and it just doesn't work out that way.
I mean, and that you know, you've seen them on
the defensive line.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
You let you know, de Marcus Lawrence ride going to
elevate it up. But but you were trying to pay Micah.

Speaker 8 (12:06):
You you had to pay Micah, which yeah, right, you
couldn't keep d Law, you couldn't keep George Lewis, and
then geordgan Louis, with all due respect to him as
the player he'd already signed the last deal he signed
with the Cowboys was right.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
It was team this guy. This guy did what you did, hey, man,
show me the money and shot Cohn dunk gone.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
Man, I got him.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
So you going to Florida those state taxes, and the
Cowboys couldn't compete with that as they were trying to
figure out what is it gonna take to son Michael,
which goes back into that whole thing of not signing
Mike or hurts you another place, or not having a
better strategy of hey, we're not gonna pay him so
we can pay all these other people. Then you know,
with Jordan Lewis would have been a guy that got
lined up to pay. I don't know if they'd have

brought back Tank, but they clearly would have brought back
Jorge Lewis.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
I think they would have out back Jay lou and
I think what they say hindsight is twenty twenty. Yeah,
you should have paid Micah so you could have kept
some of these pieces, because imagine if you would have
had a George Lewis and the dran Bland already took
it up, and possibly with J Lou being a significant leader,
him being drafted here and stuff like that, he possibly
could have been that voice or reason when it's like, hey,

maybe things would have worked out a little bit different
with Diggs because guess what Michael would have been paid.

J Lou would have been here. He's a good leader
in the.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Voice of it to say, hey, stay level hited and
it just sucks. It's like, you know how you unravel
that thread and you just got to deal with it.
This whole is starting to seek and so I think
they've done a good job of finding a new centrist
in getting Quentin Williams and Kenny.

Clark come in here to where you're trying to patch
that hole.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
But that hole was that significant And so do you
really think, like who when you look at this now,
there's so many things you say, who won this packer's
trade or the cowboys trade? Who do you really think won?
Because before the trade the stuff started happening. For the
Mica situation, if they'll.

really piled his son. He's going to plat Michigan, And
I'm like, brother, when did you go? And his mom
was talking to me, hanging here, We're going to go
buy some clothes here and some more stuff something. It's
a whole world, man, I didn't know that the Sun
make guest appearances and every now and then it's great.
It's the same way, yes, appearances, the same way make

no serious trading guest appearing in the Marrie told me, man,
you got cabinie what's that, man, you've been inside to well,
I don't like being signed. And when May came around,
they could roll the window down to your car it

When I will play up north with the giants going
to Canada and stuff like that, they were like, oh, yeah,
the summers up here are amazing. I said, they're so
amazing because y'all don't have that many warm days.

July or it was it September.
