a quick disclaimer just from last lasttime Sarah and I were drunk, we
were talking about my adventures in whenwhen I was in Nashville and when I

we are a pro sex, prosex worker, anti shame in that capacity.

But that being said, when Iwas what I was doing in Atlanta
wasn't the smartest thing because one itwas a random stranger that I found on
a weird app called Whisper, andtwo I was in a strange hotel or
a strange place where nobody knew whereI was. By the way, like
it wasn't like anyone, you know, I wasn't with anybody. I wasn't
like at home where people would checkon me. I was in a town
that nobody, nobody knew I wasreally even visiting and at risk of anything.

It's it's still an illegal act,and so I was at risk of
both myself and you know, ina in illegal way, and in an
illegal way, anything could happened.And that was kind of our discussion of
how crazy it was came from,was about the ridiculousness of the situation and
the risk that I was putting,because there are much safer ways to hire

When I thought the whole story,was you going to talk to the girl

she knew nothing about this. Itwas completely out of the blue. And
Sarah, an update that I didnot tell you is that we were chatting

just like normal for a little whileand then I want to say, like
four days later, we're just likeon Snapchat, sending a snap and she's
like, oh, such a hardday, and I was like, Oh,
what's going on She's like, yeah, I just found out that my
blah blah, and I don't rememberwhat she said, but it was some
big SOB story and she was justwondering if maybe I had, like any
any money that I could lend herthat she would pay back in two days,

and it was something along the linesof like a couple hundred dollars.
Oh man, yeah, And soI removed her from snap and I didn't
reply. I just removed her fromSnapchat immediately because that that was where the
you know, the potential for scammingcame from, and that that's what it
was. Because the story I wishI had screenshotted because it was a ridiculous
story too. I was like,oh, did someone just copy this like

ridiculous. So anyways, I justwant to get too that disclaimer and then

and Master Nun. You guys havebeen dating for a while. He started

to be more normal between us,and because of COVID and him not feeling
comfortable doing certain things, I'm havingtrouble being megabitch and just getting upset about

spent the night. He just metone of my closest friends here in Nashville
over the weekend after us dating forso long, and he's been really hesitant
to stay the night, to evenintroduce, not even introduce, but just
let his parents know because right nowhe's living at home that I exist.
I mean they know that I exist, but that were dating, and he's

going over to my house all thetime. They do they do? They
do? I know that they knowthat half of his family does, but
the party lives with I don't knowif they actually even knew that I'm not.
And this is what my friends havekind of struggled with too, because
they feel like I'm a secret.I cannot go into detail about this.

fight. I don't know. Idon't know if I'm an offensive with anything
that I'm gonna say, you know, because I've just been feeling. I
don't think as long as you're talkingabout how you're feeling, I don't know

you guys talk about, seems tobe pretty pretty solid. Like he listens
a lot. I'm just really strugglingwith feeling like not doing the normal things

in a relationship. And I thinkit sounds to me like the biggest thing
that you mentioned multiple times is havinghim just like be able to come stay
over, just like having just bethe comfort of like having someone that you're
dating just like go to sleep withyou at night, wake up in the
morning, and just having that kindof feeling that that's a really normal thing
to have happen, and I cansee that being very difficult to understand why

here and it's seven, eight o'clockat night, he has nowhere to go.
I have nowhere to go the nextday either be and why can't he
just spend the night. And Iguess that's what I just just normal things
that I want to happen that Ithink would solidify where we're at as a

feel like I've been pushing him alot lately and I don't want to cross
his boundaries. But at the sametime, I'm really not really struggling,
but I'll have moments where I justfeel as if something's off between us,
and I want him to stay thenight. I want him to meet my

feel more normal between us, andwe're past the stage of, oh,

are you safe because of COVID orwhatever. I think we've been very careful
outside of seeing other people, likegoing to work, me going to work,
and us going out and things likethat. But I don't know,
I've just I've really, i've reallyhad struggled with that because I'd love for
him to come over and have Sundaynight dinners with my best friend and her

boyfriend and us do a double datesomewhere and just some of these normal things
that I think we've been in theroutine for the longest time of us just
him coming over after I get finishedwith work, or midway through the day
on Saturday, us hanging out fora little bit, us having sex,
us chilling for a little bit,and then him leaving, and as great
as like all of those interactions are, I feel like I just I just

want more. I want I wantto kind of break out of that COVID
cycle that we've done. And Iget I get it. COVID is not
like this isn't over, but we'repast the point of just being to people
who are still trying to get toknow one another. And I don't know,
I just feel like we should thereshould be more normal things. I

don't feel like I'm asking for alot for him to spend the night,
and we haven't really gone into fulldetail of why he can't spend the night,
except for I just feel that hejust hasn't told his parents really the
extent of how often we've been hangingout, because I see him two to
three times a week, right,and I think that that's that's probably the

probably the reason. And I willsay that I was going to say objectively,
but I'm not objective when I like, I'm always going to be I'm
always going to be on your side. I'm never objective. But in my
view, you haven't pushed him.You haven't been like aggressive in pushing him
to do things. Everything you've askedfor has been in a very in a
very I mean, I just constantlykeep feeling bad when I said just things,

and I just it feels awkward tome to bring it up because I
don't I guess I'm very sensitive tothe fact of us having a fight about
this because I'm trying so hard tobe in tune with how he's feeling about
things. But then at the sametime, I wanted to be like to
understand where I'm coming from and kindof bend a little because I ever thought

that how he met you in thebeginning is someone You're someone who makes your
thoughts very clear, very clear,and that maybe the fact that you're kind
of holding back because you're afraid ofa fight or whatever, you're not being
you know, like your one hundredpercent genuine self, he might not be
realizing how necessarily how important it is, because you in the beginning was is

it very is, very outspoken,very much like, oh, this is
what I want to do. Hey, let's go to let's do this,
you know, and then and andnow maybe you've kind of just started to
occasionally sense or mute yourself just becauseyou're worried about you you want to respect
his feelings on it. But healso might not be aware that this is
so important to you. I feellike it's a really stupid thing for to

be so important to me. It'snot it's not you know, one of
your probably important things for you isprobably touch and quality time and those are
two things that you know that kindof stay over. But also it makes

is where this boils down to,is erases that small little voice that's in

the back of your head that's like, maybe he has maybe I'm a secret
life of his and he has asecret family that he goes home to every
night that I don't even know aboutand doesn't who knows, and he could
have just a whole family there,and that's why he can never stay the
night because they think he's working lateall the time, blah blah blah.

not true. But you still canhave that little voice in the back of

your head that's like just like sayingthat and that and this like staying over
is like, oh, this islike it's a commitment. It's actually it's
a commitment more than even being arelationship, because it's a commitment saying Okay,
yeah, I'm gonna go to bedwith you and wake up with you
in the morning and it doesn't.It prevents you from feeling like a dirty,
dirty little secret as well, eventhough he's not treating you like that.
And I think it's definitely yeah,I'm definitely not. But how he's

acting versus how you might feel canbe two very different things. Yeah,
I think in the beginning before wewere and this was early on, before
we were official, or I wasfeeling that that was you know, in
the in the weeks ahead him leavingand us not texting a lot, and

and me with like dealing with shittymen in the past, that was actually
a thought that I had was Iknow that, And I had to keep
telling myself. I know that he'snot sleeping with anyone else, and I
trust that he's being very honest withme. But it's very hard because because
I was just I would only seehim for four hours at a time.

after because I trust him, that'sound of my business. But it was
very hard. It's not as hardfor me now as just I just want
him to stay over, you know, But in the beginning, when we
were still trying to build our whatwe were and what we wanted. That
was definitely something of when well,we're not solid and he only sees me

for X amount of hours during theday, So what if? And I
drove myself fucking crazy, right,because I was afraid that he would be
just like every other guy that Idated before him of lying to me about
something or only wanting one thing butsaying that they see more. And he's

It's still challenging for me to separateshitty events that have happened and right,
which is true. But but hehas shown himself every time that when
you say something that's important to youor something like that, he comes through
and he you know, one thingyou want to suggest, and this is
just a possibility, is you knowwhat they've said is that you know,

you develop your own little bubble,basically your own social bubble of the people
that you know that you are with, that you know what they're doing and
you trust them, and that's youryou know the best way to stay safe.

have been together enough that he shouldmaybe be able to approach the fact to
his parents that hey, she's partof she's become part of the bubble,

because if if there was an exposurerisk, it would have been done long
ago, you know, I meanthey would have been and that he trusts
where you are and that you knowthat your bubble might they usually say,
you know, it can eight toten people maybe might include you know,
your best friend and her boyfriend andyou know and and that and that can
be you know, a good wayto just to have a small bubble where

maybe you know his his parents canyou know, is step on wherever can
feel like okay with that. ButI do agree that I think it's important,
and I think that maybe it's juststupid that I'm talking. I still

it's because I'm trying to make itfeel like a normal relationship pre COVID,
and it just doesn't feel like thatyet because there's still things that we haven't
done right. But the staying overthing is something that plenty of people who
are I mean, once, onceyou've been having sex with each other,
I feel like staying over isn't there'sno more risk there, Like there's not

like an extra risk that happens atnight, even though all these mayors keep

trying to strategically talk about these thingsso it's not just one big dump,

not that I'm mad, I justI want things to change slightly because that's
just how I've been feeling. Well, communicating that is going to be the
best thing you could possibly do andstop working. And you say uncomfortable,

guys you've dated, No, it'sany time you didn't give a ship where
you didn't give a shit about Soyou're just like it was never an issue

these conversations to develop and grow therelationship. But I'm just afraid of what

So you say, I really wantyou to stay the night. It's very
important to me. This is like, this is something that like really would
like would make me feel like likethings have some normalcy to them. Just
you know, I just don't wantto keep pushing. I said to him,
this is so important to me.If this is very important to me,
and I really want you to makethis happen, and he's like,
you think that the like does it? Does it make any logical sense that
his reaction is going to be Ican't date you. I could come across

as too needy. I could comeacross as asking you asking him to say
the knight's not you too needy.But I've been but I've been pushing him
a lot lately on I want youto meet my friends, I want you
to do this, I want youto stay over, and I keep making
these nudges. And he made acomment a couple of weeks ago that he
feels like I'm pushing him a littlebit more, and so I took that
as Okay, well I'm going toback off and I'm just not going to

bring it up again. He sayit in a bad way. No,
he didn't say it in a badway, but I took it as a
Okay, Sarah, just shut thefuck up. Just don't mention it anymore,
because if I keep mentioning it,he's going to feel that I'm attacking
him, and then it's just goingto turn into an argument. That's why
I'm backing off. I think thathe maybe needs somebody to kind of pull
him out of his shell a littlebit and push him a little bit.

You know. It sounds like soundslike he's a little bit of a quieter
maybe not not quite so, mayberambunctious, you know, and outspoken person,
and that sometimes you need somebody tosay no, this is what I
want, and that's who you are. That's who you unabashedly are. So
I was like, Hey, thisis what I want, this is what
this is important to me, thisis a big deal. And you I

went, don't feel bad about it. Why I'm so not myself though,
I just because I'm so worried thatsomething bad's gonna happen. Then I just
retract into my shell and just stop. Well, here's the thing to remember
that if if for some reason,something bad were to happen from a conversation
like this, then it's not arelationship that's meant to be. You know,

something bad would happen then, likethat's a sign. Oh shit,
let's get away from that. It'slike, you know, like that's what
I'm saying, Like, if ifthere were bad repercussions from you just talking
about wanting someone to you know,like to come stay the night, for
example, that's a sign that somebodyis not like, not a good person,
not a good match for you.If they if they if they got
shitty about that, like if therewas some type of like you know,

if they've got emotionally or verbally abusiveor angry about that, then that would
be something I'd be like, Oh, that's that's a that's a flag,
that's a red flag. I know. But and so yeah, I know,
I know. I just then Igo through in your own head.
I'm very much in my head becausewhat are all your friends telling you other
than me? My friends are sayingthat I just need to have this conversation

because it's clearly bothering me, andI'm not being like myself because I'm worried
and they're like, well, thisisn't the Sarah I know when it comes
to dating, and so they're notwrong. I just yeah, we're very
we handle things very differently, andhe is a little quieter, and I'm
kind of the fucking loud mouth ofthe two of us. So I just

don't know how much of a loudmouth that I'm about to be be the
same loud mouth that he liked enoughto want to go on a second date
with. Yeah, you know,that's like that. He he likes who
you for who you are. I'mjust getting a weird I don't know's I

are. He's not. He hasn'tbeen trying to change you. So just

so I bring this up. Wehave this conversation if he still says,
no, it's not the right time, which that's what I expect him
to say. Then what you know, if you were on it, I
feel like I already know the answerof this is not going to change because
I said something on Saturday and hesaid he does he won't feel comfortable meeting
my friends like my other friends fora while, and that kind of sucked

to hear too, and so I'mlike, okay, So then I don't
want to bring up this whole thingbecause it's going to be the same answer
as every other time I've kind ofsaid something, right, So that's why,
that's why, why you actually havea legitimate conversation about like this is
really important to maybe stress to himhow how big of a deal this is
that you know, like the risksthat he take, that he's he's already

taken the risk to be with you, staying the night doesn't matter, and
and this is like, but buthe also needs to maybe at this point
realize that he should probably you know, maybe stand up to which I like,
whatever whichever parents going to give himthis issue, it be an issue
because I feel like that's what itis, is he doesn't want to bother
them whether it's because they have bigging, you know, massive anxiety about it,

whether whatever the situation might be thathe's worried about causing like a stir
with them, But if he approachesit in the right way, and it
is able to approach in a waythat just says, hey, listen,
I've already been spending all I seeher three or four times a week.
You know, we are together allthe time. I'm going to stay the
night over there, like it's importantto if he if he were to stress

to them, it's important to methat I stay the night over there with
her. I just occasionally I don'tknow how he would. I do agree
with you that maybe he is nervousto talk to his parents about that.
So it's just like, well,I don't want to have that conversation yet
until things get better. But thenthings don't get better, and he's like,
well, we're definitely not having thisconversation, so I don't and I

don't foresee him just he's choosing,like his parents' feelings over your feelings,
and that's a hard choice. Butit's also not that hard to be honest.
But then I feel that I shouldn'tbe having or making him decide to

impact, that has zero, thatwill have zero impact on the health and

have this conversation with his parents,it will just open up Pandora's box of

on a hike or whatever, becausehe doesn't have to tell him aout all
