Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the fits In with Her with Kate Richie podcast.
We followed her flight, we know she has landed in Melbourne. Finally,
Taylor has been closer to us than ever before. And
we know how mad this has become. And I don't
want you to think this is an abuse of power.
We had a great idea here on the show. I mean,
the tickets are the hottest thing in town. We know that,
so we put a call out of the listeners who

(00:21):
were desperate to win tickets on Valentine's Day. This is
a special day yesterday, and we've all heard the reaction
when we give away tickets on this show. Oh it's
so long, Oh my god, the tears, the screaming, it
does not stop. So we had lined up twenty people
to do whatever it takes.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Well, you didn't send them to Pitt Street Mall, like
when I said I'd do anything to sell your book
for Valentine's Dack.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
No we didn't. We spared them. They had another task
to take on. Now this is exciting, Kate, because we
drove out there yesterday and you were blindfolded, so you
didn't know where we were going.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I thought we were going for seafood. Lingueni somewhere taking
the team for lunch.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, table for two and twenty people on side, so
Kate was blindfolded. And then we finally revealed the moment
where you realize that we'd arrived. A goods this Fitzy
A die hard indoor paintball great? Alright, have you done
paintball before? Fits? I love it. I love it. I'm
hopeless at it, but it's so good. This was the

(01:18):
same place we went to where we had Tommy ask
answer a series of questions like what day did your
sister get married? And if you got the answer or
you had to run fitted do.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
You know what? The version of paintball we played yesterday though,
was the best ever because when I was explaining it
to people or my daughter at the dinner table last night,
she said, so, how did you go? Did you win?
I said, well, I was always going to win because
I was the only shooter.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, you were the only shooter. So there was one rule.
If you got hit by Kate, you were out last
person standing. When a double past Taylor Swift. What a
great game. Anyway, this is help have a listen. Okay,
we're going to go through this doorway here to watch
your head. That's a spider. It's not a spider. Hey, Regnie,

(02:09):
Welcome to paintpal. I can't believe you're doing this. How
far anybody would go for Taylor Swift? Tickets? Where about
to yell? Go and these guys are going to run
while you load up with your paintball gun. Last person

(02:31):
standing wins two tickets to see Taylor Swift. Get in
there and don't get hit.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Go, don't go go cop got go come come get
ain't get out.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Running numbers, running numbers, slide roll. That's three down, seventeen
to go. Keep focused on seven scullying or nice pump,
nice pump?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah right, yeah, that's that was a really good shot.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
All right, we're down to ten now, yeah, six left theirs.
It's fair ahead, okay, okay, stop everybody, stop.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Ladies and gentlemen. It has been a fantastic warning of paintball.
We've had a.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Decision and executive decision on behalf of the team at
Nova that we're down to the final five, and tomorrow
on the show, someone from that final five we'll be
receiving a phone call from Fitzy Weber and Kate Richie.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
So come out come out of your hiding spots.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
You're safe and your third of the final five.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Oh, hold on, everybody, Kate, Richie Ruthless.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Did I enjoy it way too much? I mean I
felt there were moments where I could feel I could
hear my breathing in my because I started to take
it very seriously. When the guy was hiding under the
muss and I was creeping off of us.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
You went from how do I use this gun? To
zero dark thirty. Okay, we need to make a call
to this winner right now, big moment for the show.
We can only give the two tickets to Taylor Swift
to one person. They've randomly been selected out of the
five finalists, and all.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Of them are deserving, and all of every one of
them absolutely fought for their fought for.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
The covered painting. They still can't see. They've got their
mask on because coat stripped them. You know what. Eighty
percent of them said they were shot in the bottom.
You popped the good little button, shot me, great butt shot.
The winner of the two Tailor Swift tickets this morning
go to Maddie from Clavelli.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Maddy, congratulations, You've got two tickets to Tyler swem.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Oh yes. Oh, Maddie, it was your thirteenth birthday yesterday
you just made it down to your front to the
final five. Yeah, oh, Maddie, are you okay?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Incredible?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
The whole paintball it was so fun.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Oh it was. And Maddie, how long have you been
trying to get tickets.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
For since I was birthly?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:28):
And Maddie, you know what, I'm glad the tickets have
gone to you. You would direct. The funny thing was I
think under your paintball gear yesterday you were wearing a
Taylor Swift inspired sequined frock. Now that is dedication if
I've ever seen it. You had you actually had a
few tears yesterday. Why was that? What were you feeling?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I had a twenty percent chance of getting tickets, which
is the closest I would have the closer.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I've ever gone into getting tailor's ticket. Oh my god,
I'm Mattie. How many hours in front of the computer
trying to buy tickets?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Three days?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Oh my god? You know what was interesting? There was
a moment yesterday Mattie, wasn't there where we just signed
off on the final five. Your mom was also playing,
so you were saved from being shot by Kate, but
there was a close encounter and as the tears run
ran down your face, you said to Cod have you
shot my mum? It really hurts.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I know, I'm I'm so sorry mum. And you know
what you you're one of those ferocious moms as well,
So I think I would have I would have put
my weapons down had you really come for me.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I did get you with this, you painting out of
the bottom of me.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
You did, you did.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
But look, we're so excited. We're so excited for you, Maddie.
You obviously have your outfit ready to go. Who are
you going to be telling at school today?

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Everyone enjoyed. The tickets are all yours. Congratulations than he Yah.
