Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Fitting in with Her with Kate Richie podcast.
We haven't done this for a while. I'd like to
have a chat about romantic apathetic?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Is it romantic?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Just put it.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Romantic or pathetic? What do you do for your partment?
Thirty twenty four ten Get Involved? We saw this grape
list last night. It's the little things to say I
love you without saying I love you? Fits you know
where you just acknowledge or you might recognize or do
something knowing what their next move might be.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
That's often a cute one.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
I know Lisa is always the last one to put
Francesca to bed, so I make sure there's a cup
of tea waiting for her downstairs as we sit there
and have a sleepy time together.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Said a good time to have a tea. I suppose
it if it's a what kind of tea does she have?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
It's just called sleepy time and there's a bear and
a ninety on the packet.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Anyone else used the bear on the ninety? Sleepy Time?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Who's the bear?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
And byndies one hundred dollars for anybody that wants to
get involved this morning? The list starts with that, making
sure you know her tea type, and I do.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
She'll have a green in the day and a sleepy
time at.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Night's casual physical touch I mean, sometimes considered annoying by
many females, I would suggest, but always good. Just to
brush your hand past their bottom or something.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Wrong that you're there.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, well you don't do that, isn't that kid?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I mean, if I was just watching it when you
still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
The U two film clip, remember how they were in
Vegas when they film that, And remember there was a
woman from Sweden that just walked up to Bono and
he just he grabbed her and started kissing it.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Oh my god. Really, I was like, whoa, you could.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Do that back in the day. But she was like,
hey guys, you too, how are you bro? And then
he's just rammed his wow blood. He's tongue down ere.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
I mean, if a girl mark sorry, if your wife,
if your wife runs up the stairs in front of you,
if you don't tap on the bottom.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Something's missing in the relationship.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Don't your eyes at that.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
We're doing romanticalpathetic But this is just how people. I'm
not touching her up. It's a love tap.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
God and if she did that to you, that's a
punching bag that you can never get out.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
You lose your hand.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Saying thank you for dinner. So's gone down again. So
important to say thank you for dinner? Does anyone ever
find themselves? And I said last night, you just.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Love talking about dinner.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I just got a jar of soup, like I got
a jar of chicken soup. But it was like came
in a jar.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I was furious, but I couldn't say anything because I've
always gone under the.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Rule of where does came in jar? Have a restaurant,
I don't know?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Came in a jar? And it was so spicy. I
do it all the garlic bread.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
But I said, I've said to her so many times
I would never complain if there's something on a plate
in front of me. So I had to bite my
tongue because it was burning. And I don't care. Let's
go to Katie and ride.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Katie. What does your hobby do for you?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
He cleans the kitchens when I'm done enough, so having
done maybe dinner, and he gives you something simple as
cleaning the kitchen up after I put the kids to flee.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, what about what about the kids? Do the kids
help out? Are they too young as well?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Kate?

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Yeah, they're too young. I've got a too and a
six months old.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Okay, Then does you finish it off?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Because quite often I'm told that I've left a couple
of things behind when I've cleaned the kitchen.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Nah, he finishes it off. He does a pretty good
job of it.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Let's go to Steward on the Central Coast. You've worked
out how to keep your girl happy. How's that's true, guys?

Speaker 7 (03:56):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (03:56):
Good?

Speaker 7 (03:57):
She comes home from work and like she's on a
feet all day, she sits down on the couch, she
puts her feed up. If one there, I just don't
give herself massage, David.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
That's one thing I've stopped doing is the foot massage.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
BJ didn't mind that, but I suppose it's just there's
a few infected bunions and stuff down there. So I've
sort of stayed away for a while.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
But this time yesterday we're talking about the stench of
toe jam on the show, Ryan James, while everyone had breakfast,
apologies for that as well. You don't want to be
thinking about that. Linda and Grandville, Hello.

Speaker 8 (04:30):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
What does your hobby do oh well for the four.

Speaker 9 (04:34):
Kids under ten, he makes the school lunches while I
have an extra sleep in.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
That's good, Sally, Linda. Who is this guy? What's his name?

Speaker 9 (04:44):
His name's Anthony. He's an amazing dad and he enjoys
making the lunches, so I don't say no.

Speaker 10 (04:50):
Love it?

Speaker 4 (04:51):
And does he do a majority of the lunchbox the
night before and just the sandwich to keep it fresh
for the next day.

Speaker 9 (04:56):
Oh he No, definitely makes it all fresh for them
and even you know, cut up the fruit and go
the extra limb for them and make sure he gets
these orders in from them the night before.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Linda, this might sound strange. I think he's cheating on you.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
No, no, no, not at all, not at all.

Speaker 9 (05:14):
We celebrate our twenty second anniversary.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Smumt oh, that's fantastic Linda around Linda sleep wonderful, warm
with Linda. We haven't had any pathetics, Tom. So, why
don't we get something from you? What have you done?

Speaker 9 (05:28):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Very good?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
What did you do in Melbourne? Cup doaugh? When she
wanted to go to the races but you couldn't go.

Speaker 10 (05:33):
Oh yeah, no, I got all the soft toys like
around the house and did like a not the life
size one smu, No, no, of course, leve the inflatables.
Yeah yeah, yeah absolutely, and made like through the house
like a Melbourne Cup style horse race with and then

(05:56):
she was leading at the front.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I put over, So your wife was a horse.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
When he pulled the curtain up.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Unfortunately she broke her leag.

Speaker 9 (06:12):
This is the fitsy and with her with Kate Richie podcast,
is it Roman?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Just we want to know the small gestures you do.
I've got a great list in front of him too.
We want to add to it.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
You know, Engaging in your wife's favorite movie is another way.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Fitsy where you make I love watching Pitch Perfect.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Yeah yeah, yeah, bad boy, Bobby.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I didn't know Lisa was right into that. But let's
go to Stacey and Penrith.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
What's the romantic gesture that you do or your partner
does for your Stace?

Speaker 5 (06:51):
My partner does for me. So he has a list
in his phone of all of my favorite foods and
takeaway so if he's ever just out and about, you
can just broke me with something that's right.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
And how often does he do it those days?

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Pretty regularly, actually, I'll be honest. Anytime he's kind of
at the shop if you just sort of see a
little chocolate bar that you think they'd like, or you know, yeah,
because on his way home and you see something kind
of at the shop on a feeder.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Is he Stacey just checking?

Speaker 2 (07:20):
All right?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
I'd call that romantic. Absolutely. I think that's beautiful. With
a salery juice for the Lisa every now.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Salary? What's the salary? A salary juice or a Celery juice?
Celery do you do? You show you then put it
into a blender.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
I get a salary?

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Is it sealery? It's not easy to say no.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Go from Celery into Sally in Bellgal How I sell
what suggests yourself.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
So usually often.

Speaker 9 (07:53):
At midnight I go for midnight we and my partner
leaves the.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Role of toilet paper on the toilet there for me,
so my twist.

Speaker 9 (08:01):
Doesn't get cold on the cold toilet seat.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Hang on a minute, So does he line the toilet
seat for you?

Speaker 5 (08:08):
He just leaves a toilet roll there for me, a
fresh one.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
I mean you could just squat.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I'd say that's pathetic.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
I mean, if you're going to come in to it,
put the paper on the seat.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
You Jason Jason in Padstowe. What have you been doing
for your partner for ten years?

Speaker 9 (08:32):
Ja?

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Hey, guys, good morning. So most mornings I text my
partner let her know that I love her, that she's beautiful,
and that she's enough.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Oh every morning.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Get a bit repetitive most mornings.

Speaker 7 (08:45):
But if she serves me in a jar of chicken
souper night before, she doesn't get it.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Yeah, I know that, especially when it's bussy.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
You're obviously guilty of something there, Jason.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
If you have to do that every day? Christine and Bexley,
how good morning, guys.

Speaker 8 (09:02):
My husband gets me a cappuccino down at the coffee
shop every morning. Rail rain show.

Speaker 2 (09:08):

with that? You deserve it? Christian?

Speaker 3 (09:56):

Speaker 8 (10:04):
I'm just a really good person.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Yeah, yeah, Well make out with him much, Christine.

Speaker 8 (10:10):
I'm too busy. I'm always working.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Has he been faithful? Christine?

Speaker 3 (10:15):
He hasn't had one wondering eyes at all in that
forty nine years, Christine?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Has he?

Speaker 8 (10:19):
I had a bit of trouble with him when we're
in our twenties, but he still grew up.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
He slipped a couple of times, did he, Christine?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (10:28):
He slipped up a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Did you know who he slipped into? Slipped onto?

Speaker 8 (10:33):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (10:33):
I she regrets it, Yeah she would.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Hey, buddy, he's off. He was getting all you can
eat seafood. Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (10:48):
We might leave christ Christine loved that one on the edge,
isn't it?

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Can we give Christine one hundred dollars to spend an
El Jada plates.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Christine, well, thank you okay, and we can even pop
into Chuggoo Charlie's ash. What about you, I mean your
man Christian. You're newly married. Does he do anything romantic?

Speaker 11 (11:06):
Yeah, he's constantly doing lovely little gestures, most recently like
he'll often get me flowers and little surprises. Most recently though,
because I take a keep cup to work every day
with my coffee in it, he realized my initials that
were monogrammed on it were outdated since our wedding, and
he ordered me and surprised me with a new little
keep cup with my new initials on it.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
That is not pathetic, mate, That is amazing. That is
I mean, you're newly married, and that this will I
reckon last.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
He's got himself a matching one, Pink.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Now. The guys at the coffee shop call him Pink Cup.
