Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Fitting and Whip with Kate Richie podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Stand up Desk. You've got to commit. You've got to
get one man that has hasn't committed. Christy Swan is
Michael Whitfley. So made the company fork out six hundred,
eight hundred dollars for a stand up desk.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Correct approach to the best.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Sorry, Winness has made a very clear mistake. I have
the receipt, I can, I can let you.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Know stained the same hundred dollars. Have you used the
stand up desk? Guilty? Incorrect? He has not used it once.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
This is the thing I reckon you used it two
or three times when you first got it.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
If you're not using it as a stand up desk,
it creates a fantastic shelf so you can really get
more stuff underneath it and then put your laptop on
top of it when you're not standing up.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
So funny, funny, storing, funny funny.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
You should bring that up because I've got some alternative
uses for a stand up desk.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Now.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
The reason why this has gone viral because a man
by the name of King Bashel is his name. He
loves Beyonce so much and he's realized at work that
he can be his own Beyonce by using the stand
up desk. I'm about to show you this now. So
this is the song that he's doing it too. This
is Beyonce Live.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Oh My God, and he's gonna he's gonna levitate oh God.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
That's electronic stand up desk.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
So that's been raised as he sits in sequence in
a one piece sequined outfit with a cowboy hat on that.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
Looks exactly like the ad agency that I used to
work in. And where was he when I needed him
for Do the Brothers Special Day?

Speaker 3 (01:40):
So the desk has gone up thru So it's not
a bad idea.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
There are many uses for a stand up desk whip
and I don't know about you, Tommy, but can we
organize this if he's not using it?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Can we you know?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
At and over here we're trying to save as much
money as we can. Maybe we can use it for
other I mean other employees could get involved with your
stand up desk.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I think we would happily hand it over, wouldn't you. Well,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
We need to spend another eight hundred on the electronic version,
which I'm sure no OVA.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Will be happy with Fitz.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
We did do stand up comedy from the comedy desk,
if you remember.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Because you changed the lights, Christy, this is unbelievable. So
he put in He put in some speakers into the
ceiling and some lights so that when I put the
desk up, everything went dark.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
The lights came on.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Crime. The Seinfeld theme would plaques and you'd.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Have to have to do some stand up stand up.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
Desk only if only you put that much effort into
producing this.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Tommy took six months off.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I'm going to start by something that's close to your heart, wheat.
But you can turn the stand up desk into a
buffet or a pub table, so we could have food.
We could have nibbles there, and the employees could come
into our office and use your stand up desk to
grab a cup of Carrols.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
I could use it if you like. I mean, look,
I'm just stoffering. I'm a helper. I could use it
in a great impression I do of missus Slocum from
Are You Being Served? It would be like I was
driving via lift into that department st you know, double
on tondles about cats?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah? Do that?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
What about a crafting or hobby station. Now, Tommy, you
know we do yoga and that here and over every
now and every now and then, what about it lunchtime?
People could come in and just grab some sewing needle
or something and do some craft, some habitation.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
May blow up that balloon.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
You can do your own paper mache hen you know,
on Whipper's table.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
That's not bad.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
You could sit on it in a like in a
Gurul outfit and the people would think that you were levitating.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
That's not bad.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I mean it would be a be a nice also
a nice heightened position if we were to do life
drawing here.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Oh here, it is the old flying doormat. You can
turn it in Friday night drinks.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Remember remember before, remember we did drive for eight months.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
It was the greatest shift ever.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Imagine doing Friday night drinks at Whippers Bar in the office.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
You can have it up there and people can pour
their own.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Com Nobody drinks till the desk goes up.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
And I don't mind this one.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
You can either you can either do a charging station
or we can have a gaming set up.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Tommy, can we get a PlayStation five in there? PS five?
Lock it in, let's do it.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Oh my, fortnight Tommy head shot.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Nothing hotter than grown men.
