Speaker 1 (00:02):
And with Katelyn ki podcast Now My World, Our World's Collided. Yesterday,
the three of us together came together in one really
scary moment that I had yesterday.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
So here's how I'm going to set it up.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Yesterday on the show, FITZI, you and I were talking
about near death experiences. So that was the hot topic
that was on my mind.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Last week.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Swannie, you and I were talking about Lee Sales's book
Any Ordinary Day, Yes, because the idea of that book
is talking about and I think we got onto the
conversation because when you hear about a tragedy and somebody
dies suddenly, you don't know on that day when you
wake up that it's your last day off exactly. And
that's a scary thing to think about. But you can't
(00:49):
live your life like you're going to die that day.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Awesome people you can.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
You can, but it's you know, I imagine it would
be very anxheime, jesus.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
I'm not going outside, I'm not going pretty stressful life.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
It is a pretty stressful life. So we were talking
about how great that book is.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
So what did I do? I bought the audiobook because
I can't read.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
So yesterday I thought I'm going to kick off lee
sales any ordinary day and I go from.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
My walk, Can I just stop down for a minute.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Please.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
When you say you can't read, is that because you, like,
you know, you fall asleep.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
No, I'm just not a great reader.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
I just when I look at a page and all
the words are there, they kind of blend into one
and I go, oh my god, someone has thrown a
whole lot of letters at a page, and I'm going
to try and work them out. So I'm not a
great reader. And I don't mind listening to a story
when I'm going for a walk.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, So I'm powering up Heartbreak Hill at a Is
it a backing pace? Is it Lee's voice as recorded? Yes?
It is her voice. She is one of my queens,
isn't she?
Speaker 1 (01:56):
And just so smart and so clever and so beautiful.
So I'm listening to this book and I'm thinking about
the premise of the idea that you don't know that
you're going to die that day when you wake up.
I press the button to cross the road and I
wait patiently. I start walking across the road and then
a bus pulls up in the I suppose, if you
(02:18):
it's the right hand lane of the two lanes going
up the hill, if that helps paint the picture.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
So I'm listening to the book. I'm walking across the road.
I step out to walk past the bus.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
So my first step past the bus and the car
has decided to come up on that left hand lane
and run the red light while I'm crossing the road.
So I quickly jump back as this car tries to
break realizes that.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I'm out of the way, and then speeds through the
red light. And I've got Lee's voice.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
In my ear saying I don't know when you're going
to die, and you're right because I nearly bloody did
so the bus driver. I get to the other side,
and I go whoa because I threw my hands up
and yelled at the guy who ran the red light.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
He didn't care. He was gone.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
The bus driver opens his door after seeing this and says,
I made I've got that on camera if you need it,
if you want it, wow, And I said no, look,
it's okay because I'm okay, don't worry about it.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
And he said, all right, you like this bit. He goes,
all right, well you better get back on the radio.
Then he said, well, Fitzy would have liked that. That's great.
Don't bring death moment please.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
No, you must because the person behind the wheel was.
In fact, I.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Was only doing sixty ks an hour. Second of all disappointed.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Unbelievable moment of chance and coincidence, one that I survive.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
I'm so relieved that you did.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I would miss you so much?
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Would you let's go around the room out of ten Chrissy,
you're a ten.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
You'd missed me so much. Tommy, where you are? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:10):

Speaker 2 (04:11):
There, we're absolutely yes? What about you? Where? Would you?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Just behind Tommy on a four?
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Ryan James? There? Mate? Is your Michael with a two?
We started so well, I'm going to lock in Michael.
I'm going to lock in the tin from Chrissy.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Nobody likes you not today.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
I'm just going to go for a quick fight. You
want to come with me? Whip the mate.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
This is the Fits and Whipper with Cape Ridgie podcast.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Hey here's a good trend that started on TikTok.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
The idea is that you have to name your ex
partner after a brand.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Ryan James after a brand. I'll give you an example.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Microsoft is what one girl's written because he was micro
and way too soft? Oh WHOA one person has said,
like to name my ex Tommy Hill figure because he'll
figure it out. If he'll figure out a way to
lie about anything, that's good, really good. Hello kitty, because
he said hello to every kiddy. Unfortunately new balance. That's
(05:13):
what I got when I finally left him.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Doesn't Lisa call you out of as? Why is that?
All day? I dream about steak no no, and I
would refer to her. I thought about this.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
I would refer to Lisa as Queensland beautiful one day,
perfect the next.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
What about this one? I ca you because every time
I just go home and have to do it myself.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Twitter, because now he's my ex.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
That is really good. I know that this list goes
on and on.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Someone's written crocs ugly but very comfortable.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Oh yeah, that's good. That's really good. Catherine in Ramwick,
what do you call the ex?
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Cath? Hello?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Oh yeah, that's where you can learn a language duo lingo?
Why duo lingo? Okays or more? Just because I never
learned my lesson?
