Yeah cool. Eliot joined us after storming off the show last night to set the record straight on what actually happened but we’re not sure we believe any of it. Claiming he told the show producers well in advance if he didn’t like his match he was going to leave the show straight away, he can’t seem to understand why anyone is shocked by his actions.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Fitty and Whipper with Kate Richie podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Last night fits Big one on Maps Maps.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
It was the first in a party last night. I
think this is a record because I think this is
one of the first times a contestant has left after
a couple of days. Elliott was not there. Elliott was
not happy with his wife Lauren, and he sat down
with the expect John Aiken to talk about it a
little bit more.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Let's be honest. You're here on the show because you're
thirty five and single and you've been going out with
young women and it hasn't worked.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
And I get that narrative that it's not a narrative,
it's just fact.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I think that you are involved in a pattern, a
toxic pattern. You've been matched with someone who, after two days,
you've decided isn't right, and you're running. I need you
to look at yourself and ask yourself, why am I
sabotaging these relationships? I don't is my own time? That's

(01:02):
your problem? Oh it was deep.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
He lasted two days on MATS and he joins us. Now, Elliot,
welcome to the fits Me with Cad Richie Show.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Hey boys, how you doing?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Massive?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Very Elliott Massive.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Now before we start, I need to ask you, Elliot,
have you not watched the show before? Like, I mean,
do you honestly believe that they're going to match you
with someone who you would like to go onto the
show with? Did you honestly think that that was ever
going to happen?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
You know, that's the biggest question ever. Already always asked me,
like they're like, haven't you seen the show? And actually,
to be fair, like in the beginning of the audition phase,
I had never watched it, Like I didn't see one episode.
I never applied for it. They had a casting agent
approached me on Instagram and be like, oh, yeah, we

(01:54):
should you should have auditioned for the biggest show in
Australia yep. And I didn't even know what it was,
Like I thought it could be The Block or something,
and I was like, all right, yeah, I love Reasons, Yeah,
let's have a look at it. And then when I
found out it was Mass, I kind of pulled out
and I said, look, I'm not really interested in doing this.

(02:16):
I watched a few episodes of the previous season. I
was like, uh, you know, it seemed like it the
patterned to me. It seemed like every season they have
like maybe one maybe two, like actual good matches that
get along, they're right for each other and have a
great time, and then the rest this contry was like yeah,

(02:36):
just like bickering and arguing and not suggesting.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
They try to validate the series each year, can I
ask Eliet? Because Lauren is a really beautiful looking girl,
like and she's a fantastic person. So it seemed like
such a big decision and what we saw was just
you basing your decision on her age being two years
older than you.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Is that a big deal?

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Well, you know it's amazing girl. Yeah, Look, no arguments there.
For me, it's it's not that I'm saying she's not.
It's just there's a lot of things that they didn't
show where we just didn't click right. And to be fair,
when I went on the show, I did it on
the thing. I actually told them up front. I was like, look,
if I get match with someone that's like outside of

(03:20):
what I'm looking for, like, I'll just leave it. I
said it over and over again, and so so it's like,
you know, they've just been they've just smashed their head
against the wall and said, why are you doing this
to us, like why are you leaving? And it's like, well,
I literally said exactly what I would do if you
did that, and then you did it, and then you're
like surprised at the result you got. It's like yeah, yeah, warrant.

(03:43):
It was more like we had very different family goals
in mind, and so something like that. I get it.
I get it, Like you know, oh, you can work
on it, you can work on all these things. But
if she's not really that interested in having family and
that's something that's like the most important thing for me,

(04:04):
she could be she could be Miranda krr. It doesn't
matter to me, Like does.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
She want to have a family?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
She said her words exactly. Her words exactly were, look
at the most, I would have one child, like I
am going to freeze my eggs, and then later on
in life, I'll consider having one kid. And that to
me is like it's just two different futures. No, no, no,
I want someone that's excited to be a mom and
is like that's what I want to be in life,

(04:35):
not someone that's like, oh, look, I don't want it
to get in the way of you know, my career
or whatever like that, because.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah, all right, so we need it all right. So
you so you were approached to go on the shape,
you were hesitant about doing it. Right, Look, you're very
hesitant to do it. You said, this is what I'm
looking for. They obviously didn't give you what you want
and you said to him, looking, if it's if I'm
not feeling this, I'm leaving. Right. So after two days

(05:04):
you said, well, guys, you're not doing Can I ask
you what extent did they go to to keep you
on the show and try to get you didn't rock
up to the dinner party last night? What extent did
they go to to get you to that dinner party?

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Like?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
What were they have foring you?

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Oh, you don't even want to know. They begged him
that meeting I had with John. You know, the funniest
thing is I just went home and I was like, look,
I don't want to be a part of the show.
I left the honeymoon. It was in Fraser Island, and
I'm like I'm going home, like I'm done with this,
Like obviously it didn't work out, and I want to
just kind of like do as much damage controls a lot,
like obviously going to maybe look bad whatever and then

(05:40):
they begged him, pleaded for me to come and sit
down with John. They're like, we need to put an
ending to this, so you need to come and sit
to John, sit down and speak to John. I had no, like,
I get nothing out of going and meeting with John's.
And then I sit down with John and the first
thing that comes out of his mouth is, so, Elliott,
you begged me to have this meeting. I was like,

(06:03):
and my reaction was like, this is stupid, and I
went to walk out, and they all came over. They're like, no, no,
we'll do it differently. We'll do it differently. Oh, so, Elliott,
I've organized this meeting. Of course that doesn't get shown.
The original gets shown. And they've got me.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Of course, like you're midding my head, welcome man or something,
Welcome to TV.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
So my responses, this is where we need to tell me.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
You're in a toxic You're in a toxic cycle, and
you're thirty five and single and this isn't working.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
You know what I said?

Speaker 4 (06:36):
I said my last relationship lasted long into two days though,
So it turns out I'm a better matchmaker than you
guys are. But obviously that doesn't get shown.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
So this is what we have to This is what
we have to work here. And I know and I can, Elliott,
because you are a villain in Australia at the moment
and everyone's going but you you think, mate, if you
stuck around and anyone watched the dinner party last night,
Tim him is a villain at the moment as well.
But if you stuck around, you just I don't know

(07:06):
what you would have had to go through. So last
night everyone was talking you're out, You're out of it
now and you'll be forgotten about in a week or time.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
You'll be back.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Lauren, Lauren last night. I just need to bring this
up as well. But this is her at the dinner
party last night. We just need to get your thoughts
on this is this is what this is what she
had to say.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
So what did he say when he left or he
didn't say anything?

Speaker 3 (07:28):
He wanted someone who was twenty five, He wanted five children.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
You know if he didn't get exactly what he wanted
that he was gonna leave. He also had really bad bo.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
So need to bring this do you have hell?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Bo?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Elliott?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Hell? Hell hath no fury like a woman's storn? Right?

Speaker 3 (07:46):
I mean, you got to be careful here.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
She said about one hundred more things than that, So
like that's them showing like one little thing like she was.
She was complaining about like my stubble, like like anything
that she could. She was like, oh this, and so like,
I don't take it personally. I mean, obviously she was
put in a very bad situation. And actually, like they

(08:10):
don't show this, but I felt really really bad to
her at the time because I felt like I was
put in between a rock and a hard place. I
got on the show saying, look, if you match you
with someone that's like clearly not what I'm looking for.
I leave. If I stay, I mean, I'm like, oh, well,
you know what fuck use is my word?

Speaker 2 (08:29):
It means nothing.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
And then at the same time, obviously I didn't go
on there to hurt somebody, like and I knew it
was gonna, you know, reflect negatively on her. But what
it doesn't show is the fact that there was a
lot of stuff she didn't like about me. She just
wanted to And look, this is where this becomes a
little bit of a lot of people. A lot of

(08:51):
people fail on that show just because they want to
be on camera and yeah, and that was not what
I was there for.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
We've got to rap, but I want to go to
go to the news. I was going to get to
the news, but I think you'll end up probably with
her and having a few more kids to one. So
I'm excited to see you guys.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
No, no, no, Elliott, Just before you go, can we
just make this clear now that you're out of the show,
are you being paid by anyone? Like, is there any
publications that have got you on board or are you
doing anything now? No, we ever paid you for this?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
No, no, it sucks hate.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
No, No, it's you.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Guys mentioned about the infamy and you would think that,
But everywhere I go, people come up wanting yourself in
there like you're a legend. Every guy is like like
the wait nearby, They're like, I would have done the
same thing. I haven't had one person say something like
negative to me in person, but you read the comments
and you think that I'm like going to be burned

(09:46):
at the stake or something.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Watching.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Well, look, the only I mean you weren't painted very well.
But the only good thing that you've done is got
out of there in two days. So we appreciate you
coming on the show and giving an ISS your time, Elliott,
thank you very much.
