We saw it earlier in the week, Transformers One. It's
kind of that, you know, it's the it's the first installment.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Henry, thank you. Welcome to the show. Guys, congratulations having us,
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Who do you think is more excited about Transformers One?
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Is it the kids or is it the adults?
Speaker 2 (00:59):
I think it's Chris Chris, Chris, these two kids kids
right here.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Everyone. That's what's cool about it.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
It's I was there with my kids at the premiere
last night and they were loving it. People from my generation,
my parents who had grown up watching these cartoons and
known these stories, loved it. It's a family affair, it's
a big adventure, and that was the attraction that been.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
The thing is I did see a video floating around
this morning of your kids on the red carpet, Chris,
and they were yawning, and so there was an indication
the movie show they didn't enjoy the film, and I
was like, come on, guys, you need to get your
yawning out of the way, not on the red carpet
for dad's new film.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Stop signing autographs.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
It's like, just like that kid when we were We're
a premiere, you know, you talk at the beginning of
the premiere and at some point a kid in the
audience was like.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Just starting really good, cool on the screen, tell me
still really come here for this.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Guys in the background, like wrap it up.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
But it was one of those things too where it
was almost currency when I was at school that if
you had the transformers, like you'd collect them on and
you'd put them together and it made you know the
main machine. But it was everybody had them, and it
meant so much so when you say.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Well, I realized everybody had them except us.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
So we had acquired them, but acquired them.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
We got them eventually, but so for me in my neighborhood,
like everybody had them, so I might have created like
this kind.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Of like dealing Reformer hold on.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
It's kind of like a Transformers cartel where it was like,
you know, if you lose a certain game, then I
get some of your Transformers and then you have to
like kind of like prove to me that you need
them back. I wasn't a bully, no, however, though I
was an opportunist.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
And I thought you were going to say you did
fake merchandise, but you would.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Never know has Bro.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Noneymore anyway, And then you acquired yours and such a
came from my um used to be like, where'd you
get those? Because we can't afford them, And I'll be like, yeah,
they were gifted to me.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Mom.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
I'm going to do a movie one day.
Speaker 5 (03:06):
Character you'll see did you have any in your family,
cad or any in your relationships?
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Actually, my daughter is very impressed that you're playing optimist prime.
I hope that's not a spoiler for anyway.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
It doesn't matter.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
But I was telling when we were outside, and you
can weigh into this and That's why I asked about
whether the kids or the adults were more keen on
the film being released. Because I'm a divorced woman, have
been married, which is what divorced means.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
America. I think that's what we explain everything.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Anything else you need explain just asking me. But my
when my husband and I don't know why I'm telling
this story previous when we divorced and we left the
marital home and we divided all of our things.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
I don't mean to laugh at you.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
It was quite tragic. I mean, I don't know traumatic.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
No, no, no, he's still asking me where his box
of transformers are because he thinks in the division of
assets that I kept the transformers.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Did you know before you married him that he.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Came with transfer?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Did you know that, no, idea, he just came with
a dog.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Does you know at all that maybe this is why
the divorce happened.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Because of the transformer box?
Speaker 3 (04:33):
No, No, I think trans I mean a collection of transformers?
Is is the epitome of attractiveness?
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Is the official sort of division of assets been been?
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Is it done? Can you admit now do you have
the transfer?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
I don't know where they are and I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
I want to hear the end of the story, which
is the same space.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
It's a safe space. It's just who you know where
the transformers are?
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Come on? Do you know?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
They might be in a shoe box in the garage,
or they.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Might be in the bin.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
They might have been transformed into rectly melted down.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
I'm so sorry anyway, respect Yeah, sorry, We've got to
be learning that.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I have that appeal about myself that people usually like
lean in to tell me about what they you.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Know, yeah, therapist, yeah kind of here. But you're okay now, Yeah,
I'm so fun.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
I did want to ask.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Triggering you're cool.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I don't think he has either of these. He had
a line or something. I do want to ask you, though,
and I'm trying. I've been trying to work out how
to say it in a non offensive manner.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
You were okay, but no, I'm allowed to.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
I've known Chris for a very long time.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
It was the husbandry and.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
You are never getting.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Look back connects brilliant.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
We've seen you as though we've seen him in Mad Max. Like,
there's a lot of films that you do where there's
a lot of work. You know, you're in the gym
with Zokie and you're working out. I am wondering if
this rode down the like animation and the voiceover work
is just.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
What are you saying? Suits my laser?
Speaker 4 (06:15):
This?
Speaker 3 (06:18):
What I'm saying is there's a lot less gym activity
to be a superhero.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Like this, though, because like we don't know how he
came to the booth when it was time. Because also
like you were able to be at home when you
were recording, so we don't know the house.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
You know, it definitely suits my personality and from here
on out, I'll never pick up a weight again if.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I can just do the voice in my living room.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
Awesome, Perfect, guys, We've got to get out of here.
You've got more interviews to do. I'm so sorry that
was one of the stranger interviews.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Can you do the can you do the catchphrase for me?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You want the Australian version?
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Do the Australian the Australian optimist prime?
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I made I'm optimist prime. No, that's it. That's what
you get. You've got if you're going to see the
movie and then.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
You get but I have to say both bit like amazing,
Are you going to do it for me.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Oh no, absolutely enough, I'm optimist prime.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
All right, we're out of here.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
You guys love it. You're the best fits.
