The popular Chrissy dish has been slammed by the queen of the kitchen Donna Hay so now we all officially have to stop making it – which is not necessarily a bad thing. No offence but why is anyone stuffing multiple meats inside other multiple meats? Why are we so obsessed with eating stuffed meats?! Donna gives better alternatives to the infamous Christmas dish that are bound to be just as delish.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Look, there is yogurt in that lemon drizzle cake. So
it is officially breakfast. It is. It's breakfast the.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Way to a man's heart. If there was, let's just
say you had to get to a man's heart one date.
One thing that you need to cook to impress a man.
What would it be? Do?

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Oh, my goodness, one thing.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I don't know if it's the baking, it's the way
you baking.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
It's only the presentation and you're only wearing a light
blue apron.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Spend a bit of time, Spend a bit of time
in your kitchen and just to walk in and smell
the cooking that's going on in the room.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
It's because I think cooking and food, and like for
most people, I would imagine there's an emotional attachment to
food you eat or things that you smell. When you
got there for a smell these.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Warm cookies, I'll get stuffed.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
You will be because that is warm and warm cookies
such a are warm, they are warmed little bait?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Why do these look so beautiful because there's a little
side hustle on uber eats. I just thought I love baking,
so I did a little cookie bait?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Can I order these? Yes?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
To my house?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Is it hard? Have you found it with the cost
of living at the moment? Don Is it hard? A
lot of people? Well, a lot of people go into
the kitchen now because it's so expensive to go out
and buy things these days. So can we still make
these kind of things on the cheap or is it
really tough these days for a lot of families.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
No, I think the families are just choosing, you know,
to maybe do less outside and then to have more
kind of moments at home or a picnic, you know,
take your own food to a picnic or something special.
But you know, baking with kids is not only just
a great activity, but you're right, it is a cost
of living.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Do you eat out? Do you still like to go
to restaurants in that or do you're a homebody?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Now I'm a bit of both. I don't mind. Like
how good are restaurants when you just walk in and out?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Give us a preparation time for Christmas. Christmas is just
around the corner, now, don't I mean? What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
What should we be doing?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
What will be on your Christmas table?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Christmas is going to be big this year.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
I've got it at my house with everyone, like the Doubles,
the double family double.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Are you going to have a to durkin? No?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I don't get the too durk and it looks like
way too much effort. It's also some mixed meats, the
surf and turf of the turkeys, so.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Confused which one do you put? The hand up the bum?
Actually nothing in the bomb of the turkey?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yes, and then a quail and something. If you're going
to eat pork, eat amazing pork. If you're going to
have turkey.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Just do a.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Dry Brian over your turkey, Leslie.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I'm glad to have you here, Donna, because it is
we're back to normality now because the diet is over here.
The big fellow's already had his first bide of a cookie.
We could be back to normal. He's been a nightmare
for the last six weeks, just ragging about going to
the gym. I've been doing these admiring really.

Speaker 1 (04:05):

don't have to eat another cheese seed in my life.

Speaker 3 (04:21):

suck them out of your tea.
