Joseph highlights how God worked through the prophets to provide national protection and supernatural provision. He also notes that God responds to our requests, even if they do not align with His plans for our lives.
Furthermore, he points out that the prophetic gifts function differently in the New Testament compared to the Old Testament. While there remains an anointing to foretell, decree, and declare, the New Testament introduces a governmental anointing within the five-fold ministry, as seen in Ephesians 4:11 and 12. Consequently, when we support these leaders, the anointing upon them can flow onto us, empowering us to rise to the calling God has for us.
