Today, Joseph Z reveals the answer in times of famine, trials, and difficulties. He highlights God’s prescription for us to overcome challenging times.

Joseph explains that in trials, famine, crisis, and global disaster, God has established a system that allows us to overcome and flourish, even excelling during adversity more than in times of ease. He reveals that the best response to challenges is sowing because a supernatural result is released when we sow. He references 1 Kings 17:10-24 to remind us how the widow of Zarephath never lacked anything after she gave all she had to the prophet Elijah.

He shares another example of how giving can help us break free from difficult times by pointing to 2 Kings 4. He explains that when we lose faith, the miracles in our lives stop, just as the oil stopped flowing after the widow in 2 Kings 4 stopped bringing jars of oil. He clarifies that the prophet’s reward continues based on what we bring and our faith. He demonstrates that the disciples did not shrink back during the days of calamity in Acts 11:21-30, but instead took action to lessen the impact of the famine. This is because part of the prophet’s reward is recognizing evil coming and preparing for it, just as the prophet Agabus did.

Joseph further shows how our physical gifts translate into a supernatural faith response, as seen in Hebrews 7:8. Like a miracle worker who brings healing to improve our lives, the prophet’s reward enhances walking in God's blessing through sowing and giving. He also reveals that believing in God will establish us, while believing in God’s prophets will bring us prosperity, as illustrated in 2 Chronicles 20:20.
