So days after a viral video showed some teens fighting
at the Indiana State Fair, guess what, they announced a
policy change.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Oh okay, so real quick, we do have to give
credit to our guy Indie reporter at Indie Underscore, Reporter Underscore.
He broke this story of there was allegedly this fight
that took place at the Indiana State Fair. He puts
the video out and then this is wild. He ends
up getting into it with a bunch of local people

who're trying to refute it.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
He's pointing firm if it really happened at the Indiana
State Fair, right the State Fair, and it.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Was kind of injured because some of these people are
going at him, and he's like, look, I'm just posting
the video. These appear to be clearly have taken place
at the state Fair. I'm looking at markers. Steven went
to the went to the fair last night. And then
finally it appears a bunch of people came out and
we're like, yeah, we're having to change the we're having
to change the rules here because of an altercation. And
Steven's like, yeah, told something happened, got it.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Everybody becomes a private investigator. All of a sudden Internet
sleuths on the job. But it was the Indiana State
Fair who came out and said that they're changing their
safety policy and that is miners under the age of
eighteen must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or chaperone,
and that chaperone has to be twenty five years or older.
Now this applies Tuesday through Thursday after six pm, and

then Friday through Sunday after four pm. No unaccompanied miners
will be admitted during those acs.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
And again, kudos to the indie reporter guy, the little
engine that could, right, Like he keeps kidding all these
things right, And I was laughing so hard because they're
like known media quantities in the city who were fighting
with him on social media. He's like, here's the video,
here are the markers, here's who reported this first, Like
he got the video from they wanted to do.

Right, They were just checking making sure they they wanted
to confirm they were.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Being like quasi aggressive VIM and he's just like, here's
the video you designed. I don't know. It looks like
this ain't fair to me. And then he ended up
being right. Did he get an apology?

And I see you in the YouTube chat. Did I
think he did? Did someone apologize to you one of
the people who was being somewhat aggressive with you? Was
there an apology on that? I don't know he deserved one,
but anyway, he broke that story. So now you're saying
that because of an incident that they're changing the policy
of I thought they did this last year. Didn't we
go through this last year where you had to have
an adult with you? Did they repeal the thing that

was last year?

Well, the interesting part about this is that they're saying
that the chaperone has to be twenty five or older.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Okay, so if you're twenty four and you're a parent,
you got to have somebody. How pathetic is that?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
That's that's the part that's questionable.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Maybe so if you're a twenty four year old, which
is not out of the realm to say you could
have an eight year old kid or whatever, you got
to have another adult with you as a twenty four
year old. By the way, steven says he did not
get an.

Apology, Maybe that's forthcoming.
