Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you're never willing to stand up for yourself, people
will take advantage of you forever.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Why would you expect anyone else to stand up for you?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Then?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I mean, think about so much of what goes on
we see politics and we think of it as like
its own little orbit. By the Way's Kennlly Casey show.
I'm Rob Casey's here, and I was thinking about how
to deal with this today because people are with this
announcement that came down yesterday that they're going to call
the special session. And of course Braun lied again. I mean,
the guy is a habitual liar, because how many times
did he say, I'm not calling the session unless the

(00:33):
votes are there, unless the House and Senate consent to
moving forward. He said it over, he said it on Hammer, Nigeli,
said it all over the place, and yet the votes
according to And we'll get to the next lie in
a second. See how I was going to be calm
and I made it about seven seconds into this show.
This is the stuff is irrelevant. It's the things that

(00:54):
are going on around the stuff that people need to
pay attention to. So he says over and over and
over and over again that I won't call a special
SESSI unless there's the votes, and the pro tim of
the Senate, the leader of the Senate's office comes out
again and says the votes are not there, correct, and
he's calling the session. Now, this may seem like some
small thing, but it's another lie. It's another blatant, irrefutable

(01:18):
lie that this guy told. And if he lies about
something as stupid as this, he'll lie about anything and everything,
as we found out during property taxes.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Why are they calling the special session if the votes
aren't there, according to the Senate. Is it to push
people into voting the way that they want. Is it
to get it on record? Is it so that Governor
Brown can turn around and say to Donald Trump, I
did what you wanted, just didn't work out.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah. So I come back to that in a second,
because that's the first lie he told yesterday. Then he
comes out and he was on was it Tony's Midday Show?
Tony has so many shows now, I can't keep track
of them. Yes, it was Tony's Midday Show. And he
continues to say, well, it's just the Democrats who are
saying the votes aren't there. It's just the Democrats who
are saying the people don't want this. No, your own party, sir,

(02:06):
the pro Tem, the spokesperson for the pro tim, the
leader of the Senate, has said the votes are not there. Now,
maybe that person's wrong, but it is not just the
Democrats who are saying this, and these polls that are
showing people don't want it. The last two that we
have talked about on this program were done by Republican
affiliated pollsters. Another lie. It's always the line, it's always

(02:29):
the dishonesty, it's always the deceit with these people, and
that is the issue that everybody should be paying attention to. Look,
Andrew Ireland was on with you guys yesterday and I
wanted to depuke, not because anything you guys did wrong.
You guys did great, but again it's the blatant deception.
It's the blatant, disingenuous behavior. You challenged him. What I
thought was the penultimate moment of that interview with State

(02:51):
Representative Andrew Ireland was you challenged him on what we
have said for weeks down this program, because it's Massachusetts,
this Massachusetts that blah blah blah blah blah, mass jus
nine to zero. The northeast did nod it's all they
got the talking points because Bron says that, Micah says it,
the Reps and Senators are saying it. And we said
for weeks now, okay, draw us the fair map that

(03:15):
shows me all these representatives Republican representatives in Massachusetts. And
he knew he was going to get that question because
I've been talking about that. We've been talking about that
for weeks on this show, and not one person has
produced a map that shows you all of these Republicans
who would be in the Congress if it weren't for

(03:35):
the evil, awful Democrats jerrymandering their state that's overwhelmingly Democrats.
And what do you do well, he.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Said that he knew somebody who did a map and
they found one district that would go Republican and one
that would be swing.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I know a guy.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, that was his answer. I got a guy.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
He can't produce it. He didn't produce it. The only
thing we have seen, and I've challenged anybody to show
me something different, is that if you jerry mans under
it out the wazoo in favor of the Republicans, which
why would the Democrats do that? Are we doing that here?
Under our current maps. Are we the Republicans like, well,
we feel so bad for these Democrats. Let's give him

(04:13):
a freebeat. If you jerry mandered out the wazu, you
might be able to produce one Republican district, not a
fair district, not a fair map, but a map totally
rigged in favor of the Republicans, and then all the
other districts in Massachusetts would be eighty twenty or ninety ten.
That's the best we've seen anybody be able to do.
And he sat right there and goes, I got a guy,

(04:33):
he didn't have anything. Let's see that guy, Let's see
that map. Let's have that conversation. And the other thing
that gets me when he was on with you guys yesterday,
him whinding about andre Carson. I've about had it with
Andrew Ireland whining about andre Carson.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah he did mention him, I believe three times.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Because Andrew your party, the Republicans made andre Carson as
strong as he is. They made that district unbeatable to say,
Victoria's sparks the last time because he's a horrible candidate
who can't keep her damn mouth shut. But all we
hear from the Andrew Ireland people is Andrey Carson. Andrey Carson.
If Onrey Carson is so damn bad, then why do

(05:13):
the Republicans make him unbeatable? That's what I'm talking about
with this. It's not even the issue. By the way.
You know who said they're running for Congress.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Today, Jennifer Ruth Green.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
So that's who you're gonna get disgraced, booted out. Remember
the Braun administration.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, public safety secretary.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
That's the sort of person you're gonna get in Congress.
So you tell me Andrew Ireland and he couldn't do it.
He admitted, He admitted there is no Now he didn't
use these words, but he has. He admitted there is
no real value to another Jefferson Streeve or or Jennifer
Ruth Green being there.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
He would like stronger candidate, but you're not gonna get that.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
So what you have is everybody either being completely disingenuous.
In the case of Andrew Ireland, and at least he
admits it's all political. But I mean the when he
does the stuff about the Andre Carson and the Massachusetts
I got a guy, really, you knew you were coming
in for this interview. You're an attorney by trade, you
present sound arguments to the court, and the best he

(06:12):
could come up with is I got a guy.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
This is why I came.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I want to I wanted to puke when I heard that,
And you guys did great pressing him. But the point is,
all you're getting from your representatives is either blatant dishonesty
like from Governor Braun, or you're getting disingenuous deflective behavior
like you're getting from Andrew Ireland, and you take the

(06:37):
issue out of the equation. These people are doing this
on just about everything that comes in front of them.
And that's why our country's in the shape it's in.
That's why our states in the shape it's in, because
this is how these people handle everything. No conviction, no truth,
know what's best for you know? How do we hold
our elected people accountable? It's just whatever's best in the moment,

(06:58):
whatever's best for the part.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Now that's where I'm going to differ with you just
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
In regards to Andrew Ireland, I do believe that he
does have conviction in what he says. I think that
he believes he said we have to fight fire with
fire multiple times during that interview, and I think that
he really believes that. With some of these other people,
I think that they're just parroting the talking points that
have been handed to them.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
But that's fine, Casey, But he argue is the way
he's going about it is ridiculous to whine about andre Carson.
At no point did he criticize his own party for
making Andre Carson what he is. They literally changed the
map the last time, just a couple of years ago,
to make Andrey Carson more strong because they knew Victoria

(07:43):
Sparks was in big trouble because she's a rotten representative,
because she's a loudmouth and she's erratic and people are like, eh, eh, no,
thank you. So they had to rig the map. See
this is where, well what about the jerry mandering in Illinois?
They just rig the map further to say a Republican
representative and he sits here and has the audacity to

(08:03):
whind you about Andre Carson without criticizing his own party
for creating what Andre Carson is. The other thing you
did with him, I didn't know we're going to spend
the whole segment on this, but he did. Look, this
is just stream stream of consciousness at this point. I mean,
I've been sitting fuman on this for the past twenty
four hours.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
Sure you have.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
I'm glad that he came in, though we took some
heat because we had Carrie Hamilton on and many people said, oh,
you brought a democrat in. Why don't we hear from
a Republican? And I think you know, he's very well
spoken with his message.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yes, so is Bundy, So is Ted Bundy. Gasey was
pretty convincive too. I'm not comparing Andrew Ireland to those
to those guys, but I'm saying there's lots of people
who are very convincing with their message, but their message
is crap. The other thing you asked him, which was great,
is you said, well, hey, you guys can do whatever
you want while you're in there. Special sessions open. How
about revisiting property taxes? You know what you got? Now?

(08:57):
This is an artist rendition of what you got?

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Am I wrong?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (09:04):
He said that they weren't going to address this right exactly.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
He's mister property tax guy. He can fight for whatever
he wants to fight for. Did you see any fight
from him? By the way, has he ever commented on
the iedc audit.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
I didn't ask him about that because I wanted to
focus on other things.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
No, no, no, no, no, I'm saying, has he ever publicly commented.
I've never seen a public comment from him. Now, maybe
he put one out I to see it, but I've
never seen I know, as of like a week in
two it he hadn't because he said he claimed he
had been working. But he's all in on this, which
helps no one other than the Republican Party. Jennifer Ruth Green, Jefferson,

(09:45):
Shreeve Messmer, Aaron Houchin, that's who you're gonna get. He's
all in on this. He will go to the mountains.
He tweets about it all the time. He responds to
people's tweets about this some guy named d C. Draino
from Flora that is bossing our politicians around in Indiana. Casey,
all right, we gotta get you a break. I ain't
done yet. We got a long way to go on

(10:06):
this way.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Someone pray for me.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
It is kind of like Casey, it's ninety three w IBC.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Okay, believe we got to clarify something for people, because
we've said this many times over the years. The YouTube.
People are very concerned about me. They're like, Rob's blood pressure, stroke,
card attack.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
That's weird. They should be concerned about me. I'm no
one sitting in this box with you.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
They are concerned about you. But it's kind of casey.
I'm Rob. That's Casey. We've been through this before. I'll
say it again. Every year I get my physical and
they're always like, I kind of believe how good your
blood pressure is? Yeah, And I tell them it's because
once I get it all out here, I go home
and it's like, I'll see you tomorrow. Now. The problem
at yesterday was they didn't get to get it out
here and there was something big happening and it was
like just you know, you know, eating at me. I know,

(10:53):
And so that was the problem yesterday. They didn't get
my daily daily therapy outlet. But once I leave here,
I'm I get it all out I go and take
a nap and I'm fine. Right, Okay, So we're talking
about redistricting. You guys did this fabulous interview with Andrew
Ireland yesterday. I mean, he's ridiculous, but I thought the
way you guys handled it was fine. And it's a

(11:14):
reminder to me as I'm listening to that. Why because
somebody messaged me yesterday and they're like, well, what are
we gonna do about people running for these seats? I
was like, I'm doing nothing. I'm done with all you people.
My whole goal now is to see Republicans fail and
see Republicans lose, because until they lose, and until they fail,
this will just continue forever. And Nigel I wasn't on

(11:37):
my own show yesterday, but I was on with Nigel,
Yeah you were. I told him this. I said, people,
people have to understand that the Republican Party believes, and
they've been proven correct, no matter what they do, if
you're a conservative or liberty minded people person, no matter
what they do to you, you will vote for them

(11:58):
no matter what. And we've seen this, these people who
are meeting with the governor who he screwed them.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Well, the boogeyman is the social issues right now. Sure
when it comes to Democrats.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
You're one hundred percent right, casey. And they're using now
redistricting as a way to distract from how poor the Republicans,
both in Indiana and across this country governed, and that's
what they always do. They find some issue to put
up in front of people and go, well, but what
about this?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
You don't want boys and girls sports?

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Do? You don't pay any attention to how we raise
your taxes every year, how we grow the government, the
crony capitalism, the corrupt behavior. Don't pay any attention to that,
because now we get this new shiny object over here,
which is redistricting. And so then when you ask the question,
which is the logical question, how does another Jennifer Ruth
Green in Congress better your life? People to have an

(12:48):
answer for it, and then they just get mad at
you for saying, well, but Massachusetts. And then you come
back with it and go, well, show me the map,
Well but but Connecticut. Okay, show me the map where
these super blue states should have these Republican representatives since
we don't even have them here. I mean we've pigeonholed basically,

(13:11):
people who are a part of Chicago or Democrat and
people who are part of Indianapolis or Democrat. Those are
our two. Is they going to argue that those are
not Democrat strongholds? And so when we come back to
all of this, the issue with me and again to
this Nigel yesterday, the redistricting thing is not going to

(13:32):
change or better anybody's life. My life is not gonna
be any better or worse based on the outcome of redistricting.
But what is so damn frustrating to me is that
there are these people who they bitch and they complain
and they scream about the Republican Party, and they're right
on all the things, these conservatives and liberty minded people
about all the things that they're doing this harming their existence,

(13:54):
and that they're not living up to the bargain that
they've set forth, that they have set forth, and then
when it came time to do something about it, they
just roll over and say, give me some more of that,
and then they'll whine and complain and scream again. And
it's like, you have to make these people fail. Until
they fail, they will never respect you, they will never
do what you want because they believe, no matter what

(14:16):
they do to you, you will vote for them regardless.
And so they go where the votes are and they
cater to the people who want something handed to them,
they want something given to them. That's why conservatives never
win because they take our votes for granted.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Okay, but many people are saying that Indiana is getting
into the national fight with this to offset California and
what's going on in Virginia now. Well, California, I know
was in response to Texas.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Okay, so that's a wash. I present to the court
North Carolina, which is a swing state in terms of
how it votes every single year. It's always a Pickham state,
and I believe it's about to go eleven three with
their which eleven three doesn't sound very swing steady to me.

(15:06):
Every state is jerrymander to some capacity. If you'd like
to tell me Illinois is jerrymandered too much, I'm willing
to hear that. I saw one map that maybe got
it if you drew it in favor of the Republicans
to twelve five. But again, our map should probably be six'.
Three so, like this is the. Point we could do this.

(15:28):
Forever here's the. Reality if you give The republicans something
they didn't, earn they will keep doing the thing they've always,
done which means there's no way to ever fix the.
Issue they have to fail in order for The republicans
to actually govern the way they promise every single, election

(15:49):
and as long as they can just rig the map
in their favor to. Cover when they don't do, that
it will never get any. BETTER i go back.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
To a few years ago when everybody was, saying, Though
republicans need to get there and. Fight if The democrats
are doing, it why aren't. We republicans always play by
the rules.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
And we always get.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Beat and now you have The Republican party, saying you know, What,
yeah we're going to do the same thing you guys
have been doing for.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Years but we've been doing it for. Years We republican states.
Again North carolina right now is a ten to four.
State it is. Not it is not ten four in the. Election,
ever it has A democrat governor and it's ten Four.
Republican that means the state wide. Elections it has Two
republican senators. Barely it has A democrat. Governor it is

(16:35):
a total swing. STATE i spent a great deal of
my life there for several, years AND i know that
state and it's. Rigged we act like this doesn't. Happen
we act like The republican's already doing. This we act
like we're innocent. VICTIMS i love The northeast. Map The
northeast map is my absolute favorite casey BECAUSE i have
asked people, Repeatedly, Okay vermont has one? Representative is your

(16:56):
argument That vermont should be? Republican connecticut has? Five it's super.
Democrat is your argument that those those should be? Republican Rhode,
ISLAND i think has. One it's super. Democrat is your

(17:16):
argument that those should be? Republican and then they don't answer,
it and then they just pivot on to some other new.
Boogeyman and that's the. Thing no matter what happens, here
nobody's life is going to get any. Better food won't
get more, affordable the government spending won't be rained. In
chaos will, ensue and they will find some new boogeyman

(17:39):
to blame this. On it will not stop because that's
that is especially in the era Of. Trump it is
one deflection to the. Next it's one hobgoblin in the
shadow to the. Next it's Never the accountability of it
stops with, us and we will fix. It and they
have The congress right.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Now by the, Way indiana's last special session in twenty
two who cost taxpayers around two hundred and forty thousand.
Dollars by, law this session can last up to thirty
legislative days or forty calendar.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Days so here's my.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
CHANCE i think you get some more stuff.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Done, well here's my challenge to every and we'll spend
a lot more time on. This we got other stuff
to get. To but here's my challenge to every. Lawmaker
And i'll start With Andrew. Ireland if this is about
saving the, Republic Scott, baldwin Ron alta on. Board, now
all these people who've given these big by the, way
nothing says billy badass like having five months to make
up your mind and that the very un charging out

(18:33):
with some dramatic battle hym of The republic type of.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Speech, Well Governor brown's, QUOTE i think says it. All
once this goes, public you'll have people getting off the.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Fence my challenge to and we'll get into this, later
is if this is truly about saving The, republic as
you guys are, saying then every one of you should,
SAY i will not say except a single dime in
per diem or mileage or pay for this legislative. Session,
now how many you want to bet case you're willing
to sign up for, that whether you're In Northeast indiana

(19:03):
and their Staff Southwest, INDIANA i will drive up here
my own. VOLITION i will spend my own, TIME i
will get my own. Hotel this is so, Important, Casey
why don't give the taxpayers a break for? Once if
this is really about doing something for them and make
our country, better why don't you give something for, once
Mister house Or senate member sixty seventy thousand dollars a

(19:24):
year for a part time. Job why don't, you for
once do something for. Us let's take a, Tab, casey
over the next week and see how many people sign
up for. That, okay all, right let's take a. Break
when we come. Back there is a big fight going
on in Central. Indiana there is a giant school. Referendum
AND i think this is actually pretty important because what happens,

(19:46):
HERE i think will dictate what we see in many
places going. Forward and so we've been covering this for a.
While avon Is, Battle graham is the is the is
the battleground coming up next, week and so we want
to kind of touch base with some of the people
fighting a rigged. Fight you want to talk about a rigged,

(20:07):
Fight we'll talk about a rigged fight when we come.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Back Mitchell osmond joins us next on ninety THREE.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Wibc when, You, casey did you know there's an election next?

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Week to wait next?

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Week, no that's not the. Midterms oh you weren't aware what?
Election WELL i think that was by. Design oh, yes
there's actually something to vote on it In Central indiana next.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Week tell me, more say more.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Words, well at least in One Central indiana. Community, Okay
so remember how we talked About we, said when they
passed that property tax Plan cinebolt ONE i think was
what it, was and everybody entered this the sun was.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Like everybody's very happy about.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
You according to the governor, there we, said this is
going to be very bad because you are giving these
school corporations essentially the green light to go for these,
referendums and they will pin on The Senate bill one
as the reason that they can now play the role
of poor singing. Orphan that's. Right and they told, me,
ah it's not gonna. Happen bah, bah this and that

(21:09):
and d and. Uh one school corporation here In Central
indiana is proving me exactly. Right oh, no, Okay now
we've talked about this. Before It's. Avon those who don't
Know Avon Hendricks, County West side and they currently have
a school. Reference that's, Right, well you're contributing to the. Problem,
No i'm just. Kidding, Anyway avon is going for another school,

(21:32):
referendum and they, said, well because of the change in
the referendum, laws we're we're not going to wait to
do this next year when we have to go to
the general. Election we're going to do it this year
when fewer people than normal might.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Vote, oh except for maybe the insiders that will vote
the way they want them to.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Vote, now look at. Fairness we had The avon superintendent
on this. PROGRAM i think the lady that was with
him was the school board, president and they were very.
Nice they're very pleasant, people but quite, frankly they were
full of. Crap and thankfully there's a group of people
On avon who's fighting back against. This and whether you
live In avon or, not you need to pay attention
to this because these school referendums are.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Awful coming to a community near and they.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Will be coming to a community near. You so there's
a group of people fighting back In. Avon let's hear
how it's going out. There Mitchell, osmon who's leading the
group out, there joins. Us Now. Mitchell, Hello, hello all,
Right SO i kind of monitor this because bad government
spreads like the. Plague So i'm cheering for you, guys
even THOUGH i don't live In. Avon but it seems
like there are a lot more people aware of the

(22:33):
school referendum and publicly at least against it this time
than there was the one in twenty. Eighteen what say?

Speaker 3 (22:40):
You, well thanks to you and a listener leaking a
video to you and your show putting it out, there
we have made a lot of headway here In avon
getting the message out to people who just did not
know this special election was going.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
On AND i think you hit on the thing that's, Important,
mitchell which is that And, casey when we had the
superintendent and the school board lady in didn't have an
answer for. This how this video that was private that
only certain people could, see like what they were doing with,
That and it became abundantly, Clear, hey you were trying

(23:19):
to get back to the people who vote, yes which
is why you're doing this special referendum election because you
know you can get your people to go. Vote you
don't want the public to. Know and they gave something
about planning and this and that it was, like, oh,
bull you guys are doing this because you're trying to be, Sneaky, mitchell.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
EXACTLY i, mean not one word was mentioned about renewing
this referendum this year Until Mike brown SIGNED sb one
in the. Law they knew it would have taken Effect july.
First the first time that anything was mentioned about this
referendum renewal on a bollot Was june, Ninth so they

(24:00):
IF i had to push it through to get it
on the ballot and have this special election Before july,
first knowing that they're going to have a small turnout
and their insiders are going to, vote and they're pretty
much they didn't want the rest of the community to
even know about.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
It, casey this is what's really. Important And i'll let
you pipe in here that in a school referendum in
an off, year every vote really does. Matter if you're thinking, about,
ah it's not worth by, Time oh it's totally worth your,
time because not that many people show up to.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Vote, Yeah, So, Mitchelle i'm curious if only a limited
number of people were aware of, this what are you
doing or have you done to change that?

Speaker 3 (24:39):
Direction, Well i've made up some business cards and done
some door knocking of my, own and then with the
help of your show and me contacting The Lieutenant governor's
office and The governor's, office we actually Got micah Beck
with to come out and do some door knocking with

(25:00):
us this Past.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Saturday, okay so let's talk about. That this was my
greatest accomplishment, Ever, casey because WHILE i was sitting inside my,
warm comfortable, home drinking a cold adult beverage WATCHING iyu. Football,
YEAH i publicly shamed The Lieutenant governor into spending His
saturday knocking on doors in the. Cold but kind of where.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Credit is, due he did go do it like he
said he. Would my question For. Mitchell the governor also
said he was going to do. That so Was Mike
braun there as?

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Well, no he was. Not it was me The lieutenant.
Governor he brought a couple of people with. Him so
when we did go hit the housing additions THAT i
had predetermined we were going to go, to we split,
up we, divided and we, conquered and we covered all
the houses that we needed to in the time that

(25:46):
he Had.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
What was the response that you received when people opened the?
Door did they were they aware of? It were they,
welcoming did they like the idea of?

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Voting?

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Now most of the people that we talked to weren't
even where there was a vote. Happening the ones that
did know weren't quite for sure what it was all.
About it's the only thing on the Ballot november. Fourth

(26:18):
And i've even had people hit me up On facebook
SAYING i live In Washington, township SO i can't. Vote, well,
no yes you. Can, yeah you don't have to live
in the town Of. Avon if you live In Washington,
township you can vote on. This.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Okay. Yeah So Mitchell osmond's our, guest he's An avon.
Resident we're talking about This avon school. Referendum and this
is what they, Do. Casey he just laid it out,
right which is nobody knows they're supposed to votecause they
don't normally vote in this, Year nobody knows what's going.
On the only thing on the. Ballot they, Think, OH
i don't live in the Corporate avon, limits So i'm not.
Eligible and that's what the school. Does they do it

(26:56):
all the time in these. Referendums and they come in
here in front of a and, go, well it's just
a coincidence that all worked out this, way and it's
for planning. Purposes, no that's why people should. Vote. No
these people are trying to screw you. Over they're being.
Deceptive they know exactly what they're. Doing he just encountered
it at the. Doors they're getting exactly what they, want

(27:17):
and they do they rig this system in their. Advantage, Right, Hey,
mitchell a couple of minutes left here with. YOU i
want people to understand how these school referendums actually. Work
so do you know the actual amount of money the
school system is asking for with this?

Speaker 3 (27:30):
Referendum the actual amount is the way they want, it
the way they want everybody to hear about it is
it's only thirty three. Cents, well they put out these
low numbers to get people to, think, well that's not that.
Much well it's thirty three cents per one hundred dollars

(27:50):
of the estimated value of your. Home.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah well, yeah that's so that's important when you see
these because it's coming to, us to a town near
you very. Soon when you see them talk about, cents
they're talking about per hundred dollars of. Evaluation so if
you were to take Like mitchell can you give us an.
EXAMPLE a three hundred thousand dollars home is nothing today
in Central? Indiana can you give us an example of

(28:14):
what that would equate to in terms of dollar amount
for a three hundred thousand dollars, HOME.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
A three hundred thousand dollars home you are looking. At of,
course everybody gets through if you actually live in the,
home you don't rent it. Out you get forty eight
thousand dollars in homestead, credit that's, right which brings the
assessed value, down and then if you get any other,
deductions that comes off the. Top so let's say a

(28:39):
three hundred thousand dollars, Home once you get your deductibles,
off you're looking at your assessed value is one hundred
and fifty one, thousand two hundred. Dollars at a tax
rate of thirty three cents per, hundred you're looking at
roughly five hundred dollars extra every year on top of
what you're paying for property.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Taxes oh, yeah why don't they word it like? That,
casey why don't they word? It this is my, Point
this is why we did the. Segment these people are
always so shifty and, shady and they are They, oh
it's thirty three, cents and people see thirty three. CENTS
i don't. Think so you're saying your math says the
three hundred thousand dollars, home you'd pay about five hundred

(29:21):
dollars more a.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Year, Correct and a lot of people don't understand when
you get into big numbers like, that Because avon's saying
that they're lowering the tax burden on you from thirty
five cents to thirty three. Cents so since people don't
understand big numbers like, that let's use smaller. Numbers in twenty,

(29:43):
eighteen your house is worth one hundred, dollars so with they're,
referendum that's thirty three cents a year you're. Paying, well
we're going to drop that tax rate to thirty three.
Cents but since twenty, eighteen your house is now worth
one hundred and eighty five, dollars which equates to sixty
one sense, Yep so their deduction is still a tax

(30:07):
increase from what you were.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Paying, yeah because it's a percentage of the assessed. Value, So,
mitchell the most important thing is if you live In
avon Or Washington, township or if your Kid, basically if
your kid goes To, avon The avon school. System you're
basically eligible to vote in. This when can people? Vote
how do they? Vote how do they? Go throw the
state right through the heart of this.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Thing early voting started. Yesterday early voting takes place at
The Methodist church which is right there at to sixty
seven and thirty six Beside. Kroger's they can Vote monday
Through friday from eight am to four, pm and they

(30:49):
can also vote On november first from eight am to three.
Pm the election day vote Is november, fourth and that
takes place at The Avon United Methodist. Church you can
go to The Plainfield Christian, church The Reddit Bible, church
or you can go to Our Shepherds Lutheran church from

(31:11):
six am to six.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
Pm all, right so go, vote don't. Wait beat it.
On behalf of humanity at all In Central. Indiana you
tell these sneaky school people exactly where to stick it and,
Say i'm well little humor them if you show up
to vote and Say Rob kendall told me to. Come
bill love that that.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Me.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Mitchell thanks for what you're doing, Man we appreciate, that
and thanks for spending some time with, us and hopefully
goes well for.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
You thank you guys and everybody In Washington township And
avon get out and let's go. Vote that's the.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Luck you're listening To kendall And casey on ninety THREE.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
Wibc, Okay So trump.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
As clairviit he doesn't want to be the vice? President
is that? Right this is?

Speaker 4 (31:56):
True On, monday he said he will not run As.
Jdvan he won't run as. President he said it was too,
cute and he also ruled out as Being vance's vice
president to gain a third. Term there was conversations going
around that maybe he would try to Be vance's vice
president and Then vance would step down and Then trump

(32:16):
would become, president.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
For which some people think is legal because you can
only not be elected more than two. Terms, right that
that's the. Deal there's nothing there appears to be. Now,
look constitutional scholars and legal people would just obviously this
would be a massive deal if he tried to do,
This but there is a prevailing theory by many legal
folks that he could be appointed.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
President we're not, elected, right because the twenty Second amendment
says no person shall be elected to the office of
president more than, twice and of.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Course that AND i think he kind of alluded to,
this even With trump's inflated, Ego he's, like that's probably
not going to fly with The american people If i'm
on the ticket next.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
Time oh, Yeah, Okay so there's a line in The
Twelfth amendment that says no person constitutionally ineligible to the
office Of president shall be eligible to that a vice
president of The United. States, however there's some arguing about.
That Hillary clinton joked about it in twenty, fifteen saying
that she would Consider Bill clinton as her running.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Mate but nobody's tried it.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Yet this isn't the bigger issue that we even have this, Conversation,
like there's three hundred and thirty five or forty million
people in this country and we're talking about whether one
guy can get cute and figure out a way to
have a third term as.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
President, well and that's exactly what he, said that he
thought that it would be too cute one period on how.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
You might try to serve a third.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
TERM i think you could run us the vice. President,
Yeah i'd be allowed to do.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
That you think The White house is or the whitest
council figure legal, commission.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
You'd be allowed to do, That BUT i.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
WOULD i.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
WOULD i think it's really. Nice it's too. Cute, YEAH
i would do that up because it's too. CUTE i
think that people would it's so. Cute it's not it
wouldn't be. Right, Okay so have we put this issue to?
BED i think so he's saying he wouldn't do, it
but it is really AND i know we get to break,
here but it really. Is it does kind of lead
you to, believe, like has The magham movement so taken

(34:16):
over The Republican party that any Person trump or not
with The trump name is going to be unacceptable to?

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Them?

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Like is that where we're? Atam it's very bizarre that
we're even having this.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
Conversation, well the other thing you have to consider Is
Jadey vance would have to be on board with, that
AND i don't think that's the.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Case all, Right so when we come, Back, braun The
braun and The republicans tried to boss you.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
Around they weren't bossing me too.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Much oh it was why don't? They so, Look i'm,
Back so we're going to have this conversation because that
is ridiculous what they tried to do to. You i'm
not bad for even saying.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
Anything this Is kendall And. Casey it's ninety THREE. Wibc
he

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Could he could have happed
