Speaker 1 (00:00):
I told you, so what did you tell me? Are
(00:03):
you right again on something?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I mean, it's so obvious this is what was going
to happen. Yeah, and it's happening. And this is why
no one should have cared at all about this government
shut down. There they can't even decide if they're gonna
pay people or not, which they will. Everybody will get
all their money. They're not gonna I mean what they
were on day eight. I thought after day four all
the people could get fired. Where's all the people that
we're supposed to get fired? They keep talking about doing
(00:27):
the firing.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Right, why not do it now? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Exactly, Okay, And what we told you is there's no
point in you caring at all about this government shut
down other than to put on full display another reminder
of who and what your government is and what both
parties are. Because let's review the government shut down. The
quote unquote good guys in the equation are the Republicans
(00:50):
who are fully funding the vast majority of Biden priorities
and are continuing Biden's spending levels. Don't take my word
for it. Ran Paul said it when he voted against it.
He laid it out quite well. About what's actually going
on here. That's who the Republican Party is now they're Biden.
It's the same. It's the same thing. By the way,
(01:11):
Marlon Stutsman decided to get mouthy with me yesterday on
social media because he posted some thing about it, and
they said, you're bragging about Biden's spending levels. Who did
the body snatchers get you, Marlin and invade your I
mean you're not the same, Like, what are we doing here?
And he tried to say, or somebody on his behalf
(01:32):
I don't know who runs his social media clapped back, well,
are tax cuts spending? Tax cuts are inflation if you
don't pair them with spending cuts, idiot, And apparently the
Republican Party now you have to choose. We just have
to pair tax cuts without a control government spending. We
can't say, hey, let's do the tax cuts, which means
(01:54):
the treasure will get less revenue. Are you buying into
the Office of Management and Budget and what they're saying, no,
I can moron. They're the good guys in the in
the equation quote unquote good guys. And then the Democrats
they're mad about Biden's spending levels and are demanding more
spending and they want Obamacare to continue. And we said, look,
(02:14):
there's no point in getting fired up about this. Trump
is not going to enmass, permanently fire people. He's not
going to shrink the government. There's nothing Trump has ever
done that would lead you to believe he's invested in
shrinking the government. And they will ultimately continue Obamacare because
the Republicans are just as invested in the legalized vote
buying as the Democrats, and in an election year, they're
(02:35):
not going to take away the giveaways to the people
who they want to vote for them. And da, da,
da da. Now the Republicans have come out, at least
a handful of them and have said, well, what if
we just continue the subsidies for one point year.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, there was a bill that was introduced by representative
from Virginia Republican and that legislation was to extend the
ACA subsidies through twenty six But Mike Johnson said that
you know, this is not a December thirty first issue.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
It's not tied to the current government funding bill.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Mike Johnson is the Speaker of the House of Representatives,
and I think you saw what the Democrats know is
going to happen with the Republicans. When Jakim Jeffries, who
is the Democrat leader in the House, said Eh, no way,
we wanted the Obamacare subsidies permanent, permanent, extended, or nothing
(03:29):
at all, which means they know the Republicans are weak.
They'll know the Republicans fold just like they folded in
twenty thirteen, just like they folded in twenty nineteen. They
know what their core. The Republicans don't give a damn
about better or smaller government, and the look just look
at their actions. The Democrats know it's a game of survivor.
I went out last, outplay. The Republicans don't actually believe
(03:49):
this stuff. They're just doing what they're told. The moment
Trump comes out and cuts some sort of deal, they'll
they'll all fold up and we'll be done here. This
is why you should not be invested in. This government
is not getting cut. Where are all the DOGE cuts?
Oh well, that's supposed to save us all this money.
These people, this is the trajectory going forward. It's bad
government or worst government, pick your poison.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
So here is Mike Johnson.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
He's ripping on Schumer, but he's also talking about the
month long A month long shutdown could result in seven
hundred and fifty thousand federal workers fur load and forty
three thousand more Americans out of work across the private sector.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
Let me talk about the shutdown here real quick, and
I promised you just five fast facts, five key facts.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
I'm gonna start with Leader Schumer's record, because he is
leading the opposition and he is the one telling the
Democrats to keep the government shut down. Chuck Schumer has
been in Congress for forty four years. He was first
elected to the House in nineteen eighty one. Just for reference,
I was nine years old. I was in the third
grade when Chuck Schumer came here to Congress. Throughout his
(04:52):
entire career, he has been very, very consistent about the
necessity of keeping the government open until just now. In fact,
I want to read to you an excerpt from seven
months ago, his floor speech on March thirteenth, twenty twenty five.
This is Senator Chuck Schumer in March of this year,
(05:12):
quote on the Senate floor. While the cr bill is
very bad, the potential for a shutdown has consequences for
America that are much much worse. I believe it is
my job to make the best choice for the country
to minimize the harms of the American people. Therefore, I
will vote to keep the government open and not shut
it down unquote.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
So Chuck Schumer released a video this morning.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
I don't know if you've seen it, but it's got
a lot of fast edits and they're trying to make
him look a little bit younger and more relevant. And
in the video where he's talking about the shutdown, rob
he drops the F bomb.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Oh, because nothing says I'm serious like dropping that from Okay,
let's play a little game here, shall we. So Mike
Johnson has been in the Congress now. He's elected in
two thousands sixteen. Actually he was elected to the state
House in Louisiana and then immediately ran for Congress. So
he's a bit of an office hopper, couldn't keep his
priority straight. So it's not like he just showed up yesterday.
(06:11):
And I don't hear any sign of him going, well,
I've seen enough. If I'm out of here, let's play
a little game called Chuck Grassley. Chuck Grassley is one
of the most powerful members of the US Senate. He
has been an elected life, either at a state or
federal level since nineteen fifty nine. Casey, he has been
in the US Senate since nineteen eighty. So if we're
(06:34):
going to play the been too long game in the Senate,
pot meat kettle right, this isn't about any of that.
It's about that none of you people give a damn
at all about the people you're supposed to be serving.
This is some glorified dinner theater in which you want
to convince people you're doing something. The reality is the
Republicans are doing nothing. They're not fighting for anything meaningful.
(06:55):
No government's going to permanently get cut. Almost all these
people who didn't get their think about this. Casey, you
work in radio. You ever been laid off, furloughed, No, fired? Yeah,
you've ever been let going then brought back anywhere? M No, Okay,
Well they'd had enough of you and they said goodbye.
I have been let go somewhere and brought back. You
(07:17):
know how much pay I got reinstated? Zero? Because that's
how it works in the real world. If you get
let go somewhere, they're not like, well, just go home
and have some fun and we'll keep track of how
much we didn't pay you, and then we'll pay you
at all when we come back. That's that it works
anywhere but the government. And yet these lawmakers have turned
these government people. We look, there's many fine people who
(07:38):
work in the government. It's not an indictment of them.
But I am so sick of government people getting these
special preferential treatment and then rivers of tears if they
have to play by the same rules that the public
sector does, which is if your bosses, which are what
the legislature are, which are what the General Assembly are,
which is what the Congress is. If your bosses screw
(07:59):
up and can't run the company properly and you get
let go, you know what you get zero, you get zilts.
But with these people, oh the proberal workers at the furlough,
and they might nobody ever cried for me when I
didn't get a check. But it doesn't matter. If people
are gonna get their money. Obamacare is gonna continue, Government's
not gonna get cut, nothing meaningful will happen, and then
(08:21):
people will still be mad at me the next day
for pointing it all out.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
So Donald Trump, he was asked about the federal permanent layoffs,
and he said he just needed a few more days.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Are you talking about that? Well, I could tell you.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
I'll be able to tell you that in four or
five days if this keeps going on.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
If this, if this keeps.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Going on, it'll be substantial and a lot of those
jobs will never come back.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Uh huh.
Speaker 6 (08:44):
But you're gonna have.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
You're gonna have.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
You're gonna have a lot closer to a balanced budget. Actual.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Why does he need a few more days?
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Sir? You knew for months a shutdown was happening, and
the entire time you were threatening, the big threat was Hey,
you guys better not shut this down. It is gonna
be all these cuts. We were told four days was
the limit. Now we're four days on the four days.
Now you're saying four more days. You're not balancing any budgets, sir.
You run trillion dollar plus annual deficits. You have every
(09:14):
year that you have been the president. No one takes
you serious. Nobody believes you. We're thirty seven trillion in debt.
Every time you talk about this, I want to vomit
all over myself, because you, sir, are a colossal fraudster
when it comes to cutting government or following through on
just about anything as it relates to better, more accountable
response for the taxpayers.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
All right, So he was asked what he would eliminate,
and this is what he said, How have you.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Identified programs to eliminate.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
Under this shutdown? Oh? Sure, time, Sure, I'm not gonna
tell you, but we'll be announcing it pretty soon. But
we have a lot of things that we're going to
eliminate and permanently eliminate.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
You know.
Speaker 6 (09:53):
One of the things that we have as some advantage,
you could say, but because of the shutdown, which I
think they made a big mistake, we're able to take
out billions and billions of dollars of waste fraud interviewer,
and they've handed it to order silver platter. Yeah, and
you know, Russell Vote, he's a serious person, a serious person,
and he's sitting there and he's getting ready to cut things.
(10:16):
And this is something that was handed to us by
I assume Schumer.
Speaker 7 (10:20):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (10:20):
I just don't know if humor has any power anymore.
I look at your leadership.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
I don't know who to speak to. I'll tell you what.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
I'm getting calls from Democrats wanting to meet I never
even heard their names before.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Okay, So now Donald Trump has authorized Section two three
two of the teriff revenue He's going to temporarily fund WICK,
which is the nutrition programs.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Wait wait, wait, wait wait, I'm not done dumping on
him for this. Come to Wick. You've had months to
know this was going to happen, and you have made
these threats the entire time. We will be twelve days
on before the next extension of whatever. Nobody believes you.
(11:05):
This is why the Democrats aren't doing anything, because nobody
takes you or the Republicans serious. Stop talking about it
and do it. You ran for president on doing it.
You formed this whole commission that was supposed to do it.
Nothing ever gets smaller, nothing ever gets better, nothing ever
gets more efficient. And right now, and nobody will say
(11:26):
it out loud other than here on this radio show
and Ran Paul in the US Senate, the Republicans are
all in on Biden. Oh I thought Biden suposed to
be this clueless, old, bumbling buffoon. And your budget, your
thing you're begging the Democrats to approve, is all the
stuff Biden wanted.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
It's the same thing.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
So what if they shut down lasted forever and one
by one, all the programs just started getting paid for
by tariffs.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Well, I thought the terroriff were supposed to come back
to us, right, I thought.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
The terroffs are to be redirected. Now, let's talk.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
About that when we come back and people, I get
that there's the oout that anytime you say anything critical
of Trump, they get mad. But he's just been caught
in another I mean, there's just tons of coverage of
him saying what he was going to use the tariff money.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
For and now changes everything. That's just changed again.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah, all right, let's talk about it.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
Next.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
It's Kendilly Casey on ninety three WIBC.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Okay, we have some big breaking news. This is according
to Nicky Kelly, friend of the program head honcho over
there at the Indiana Capitol Chronicle. She says, quote.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
JD.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Vance will pay another visit to Indiana on Friday to
push Senate Republicans towards redistricting Indiana's congressional map. I have
three sources confirming, though still waiting for official words.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Okay, Vice President coming back.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
So you got to give the Trump administration credit. They're fighters,
not on fighting to make food more affordable or you know,
get federal spending under control or anything that might benefit you.
But when it comes to rigging the maps in their favor,
give them credit case. They will not be deterred. They
are not giving up.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
What do you think he's gonna do.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
He's gonna come in and be mad, Hey, you haven't
done what we asked you to do.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Have you ever seen it? Is a cult classic now,
but weird. Al Yankovic had a movie called UHF. I
think it came out in nineteen eighty nine. It's a
fabulous movie. If you've never seen it, go see it
because it is actually sort of the mannerisms and character
traits of Michael Richards, who played Kramer, is one of
(13:38):
the main characters in the movie. He was aknown actor,
but certainly not nearly as famous as he became. He
plays a character called Stanley Spadowski and a bunch you
can see that a bunch of what became the Kramer
mannerisms and character traits sort of are being tried out
in the Stanley Spadowski character. And weird al what he
(13:59):
inherits right a low power television station and he begins
to program with all this wacky, weird stuff on this
low power television station, and there's a guy who is
tagline is you so stupid? And actually became a famous
character actor in the eighties and nineties, And I feel
(14:21):
like that's what jd Vance is going to do. He's
going to bring that guy with him and he's just
going to shout, Oh, you so stupid? What are you
going to say? At this point? Yeah, Clearly these lawmakers
are not hearing from their constituents that they want it.
It appears that if they're hearing anything, the prevailing wisdom
is don't do it. These Republicans are not worth further
(14:42):
rigging our system for and now more than ever, with
the Secretary of State getting a legitimate challenger in terms
of bow bye, these lawmakers be going, We're not given
more ammo fuel to his fire to get people to
come out and vote and wouldnot otherwise vote right.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
They've been saying that there's no appetite for it here
in Indiana. Jd Vance is what going.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
To serve some more dervs so that we do get
an appetite for it.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Mike, if I am a person of any sort of
decency and fairness, I would look right ahead him and
go why without saying because Massachusetts or because California or whatever, say,
why why would I do this? Our maps were so good.
We were one of the few states in the Union
(15:27):
who didn't get sued. The maps were so good and
so quote unquote fair that the Democrats just folded their
tent and said, now we'll just accept these and go
along with it. Mister Vice President, we are a will
aim at high and say sixty forty state. Seventy eight
percent of our congressional maps are Republican, seventy percent of
our House seats are Republican, eighty percent of our Senate
(15:50):
seats in the state House are Republican. The maps are
already drawn in favor of the Republicans compared to the
actual vote totals in this state. Why would we mess
with them and otherwen without telling me politically why you
want it done? Because I'm not here to play politics.
I'm here to serve the people. What answer could he
(16:11):
possibly have?
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Well, Jim Banks is on board.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
He was on a talk show last night talking about
the census and how it was off.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Now, this is what's interesting. Our old pal Steve. Now
we've talked about Steve before in this program. He's not
in the media anymore, so you can search, you can
find Steve if you want. But he was a former
newspaper writer. And we've talked about Steve quite a bit
because Steve and I converse on a variety of things.
He is very knowledgeable about politics and government. We don't
(16:40):
agree on some things politically, but he's very well versed.
He actually did some computing on this, and I'll I
don't think I did I retweet it. Maybe I'll do
that during the break. I'll go find it during the
break at Robin Kendall on Twitter if you want to
see it. He did some number crunching and source sighting
and totally refutes because Banks new thing is the census
was rigged. Well, hey Einstein, who did the census? It
(17:04):
was Trump and the Trump administration and other states included
by the Banks formula. He's trying to say all that
it was rigged and all this stuff will happened, This
would happen to bah blah blah. Texas would have lost
a seat under this formula, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
He said, California would have lost an additional seat, so
would Texas and Florida, while Alabama, Minnesota, and Ohio would.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Have picked up one extra. Okay, so is it according
to Pew research not just Steve.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Yeah. So so let's do the math and let's say
California loses, okay, check, Texas loses check. Okay, so that
bat Let's say that balances each other out. Those are
Republican and Democrat states. Florida loses, could go either way,
probably Republican seat. There's three of the three he named
(17:50):
It was Alabama, Texas, Minnesota, Alabama, Minnesota. Sorry Alabama, Okay,
so Alabama re eight, Texas or of Texas, Ohio republican state,
Minnesota Democrats state. You're correct, casey, two Republican states would
have lost a seat, you know, rebl.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
No, You're right, two Republicans. There would be three losses
in three gains.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
That's correct. It's a wash. But Jim Banks as usual,
not knowing his head from his ass and just doing
whatever Trump tells him to do. And again, if you
know Jim Banks, you desperately need to check on his
well being because I don't know how long a man
can go without oxygen. And Jim Banks has had his
nostrils so far inserted between Trump's butt cheeks for so long.
(18:34):
I'm worried he's not getting enough oxygen to his brain.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Perhaps that's why JD.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
Vance is coming to Indiana, because if it's a wash,
they're going to rely on Indiana to pick up one.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
It's all ridiculous. The whole thing is stupid. Our maps
are fair, our maps are right, our maps are accurate,
and we shouldn't give in on that and rig our
election system so that you can have one more loser
in Congress who will vote for Biden levels. This is
why people don't want it. Mister Banks, Senator Banks whatever
(19:04):
we're calling him these days. That's why people aren't passionate
about it, because you, the Republicans, You, the Republicans in Congress, you,
the Republicans who have the presidency, aren't giving people anything
to believe in, aren't getting people, giving people anything to
be fired up about. And so they say, no, thank you,
we don't want any part of this.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Okay, So we've got some tariffs to talk about, and
where the president wants to allocate money from the tarrant.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Yeah, we'll get to that next, right, got the rail back?
Speaker 5 (19:33):
Well, JD.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Van's announcement, that'll that'll do it to you. It is
Kendilly Casey on ninety three WIBC.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Okay, I'm struggling with something here, Casey, what's that I'm
gonna need you to help me out, Okay, because there's
a lot of things that are always going on in
this brain of mind, and sometimes I feel like maybe
I misheard something, but then I go and read various
news articles that confirm that I heard what I thought
(20:08):
I heard, so that I'm wondering maybe did all of
humanity mishear something? Because there's no way like the President
United States would just lie about brazenly lie. And so
this is where I need you, as the voice of reason,
to step in and help me out here.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Okay, I'll do my best.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Because I was told that the tariffs, everybody should chill
out about the tariffs because the tariffs were going to
come back to us in some sort of rebates. I
heard that too, and then I was told the tariffs
were going to be used to pay well, I think
first they said that tariffs are going to pay down
(20:46):
the debt. I think the order of this is tariffs
are going to pay down debt.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Correct, tariffs are going to come to taxpayers, right, And I.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Think at the time you and I had had this conversation,
and I had said, first of all, he's full of it.
The tariff money is going to be used to grow
government or pay to continue government at current levels. But
if I had to choose, I would much rather you
pay off the debt because stop printing money. Everything is
unaffordable because you printed money. What happened in twenty twenty, Casey.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
They printed money, right, thing's got expenses, They.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Threw checks at the taxpayers.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Just stay home and not work.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
But I think we had said at the time Bull,
he's full of it. We won't see a dime of it.
None of it's going to go to pay down the debt.
It's going to go to legalized vote buying, because that's
what Republicans do. And now, what are they proposing to
do with the money, Casey?
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Two different things.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
They're saying that the tariff revenue will fund Wick during
the shutdown, and they've also said that it's going to
go to farmers because Donald Trump told reporters yesterday he
plans to quote do some farm stuff this week.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Oh so what happened to us, No, seriously, what happened
to us, mister? I thought we were supposed to get
that money because we're being charged more for everything because
of your stupid tariff policy with no coherent plan on
what you're actually trying to accomplish or when it's over.
I thought that was the deal.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
Maybe it's like a prize wheel in the Oval office,
you know, you spin the wheel and see what it
lands on.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Though I thought you told us that you were going
to reduce the national debt with the tariff money.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Maybe there's so much tariff money coming in he can
do it all.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Oh, because he just announced another tariff. I don't know
if you caught this one. This one is for twenty
five percent tariff on medium and heavy duty trucks imported
to the US.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Sure, that's supposed to go into effect on November.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
First, So let me let me let me make sure
I understand this correctly. You make a promise to us
that don't worry about paying more for things because of tariff,
which everybody is, because you'll get that money back in
a rebate check. Then you've been all of your time
as president on domestic domestically working on a bill that
(23:06):
is loathed by the American people because they see it
for what it is. It's a giant legalized vote buying operation,
instead of spending that time figuring out how to fully
fund and operate the government in a more efficient, effective
manner so you don't need as much of our money.
And then because of the shutdown, because the Republicans are
doing a victory lap over Biden level spending in priorities,
(23:27):
you don't want people to be mad at you because
your policies aren't working. So instead of doing what you
promised this you were gonna do, which is, hey, we're
all in this together, and I'll take care of you
by these checks, which will offset the increase of price
of goods and services, you're just gonna give it to
a bunch of people who are already getting government freebies anyway.
Oh and we'll call it quote unquote farming. But let's
(23:48):
just say what it is for the most part, let's
just say what a lot of farming is in this
country anymore. It's mega corporations making bookoo dollars. It's not
the local farmer anymore that's doing getting the most benefit.
It's giant mega corporations that give to your campaigns.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Well, it's not the first time he's done it.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Like, I'm just like you know what I hate most
about this casey, but that our country is so future
when it comes to politicians, that the only choices I
had were Donald Trump and Kamala Harrison. I had to
pick Trump because at least he would secure the border.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah, yeah, that was it.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
Like, that's it.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
That's the choices I had in this country. That's what
the two parties have given me, Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.
I hate everything about this so durry.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Trump's first administration, they did hand over twenty billion dollars
in farm relief, but the Department I mean giveaways, the
mega corps, Yeah, the Department of Ag. They're expected to
unveil this new Farmer Leaf plan soon. Again, there's no
details about it, just that we're gonna give farmers money.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
Okay, can you be specific?
Speaker 2 (24:51):
No, no, no, But I'm done saying we're gonna give
farmers money. We're giving mega corporations money, large corporations that
make tons of cash. They want you to think they're
giving it to the Pittsburgh family farmer, like they're keeping
some guy in James Town afloat and they may get
a small portion of this money. But too bad. Why
(25:14):
when I suffer do I never get a bail it.
Who's bailing out the radio industry? Who's helping us? The
answer is nobody. Why are we not all in this together,
which is, hey, farmers, you voted for this guy. Tell
him to knock the tariffs off.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
So back in September, Purdue University did a survey and
they found out that eighty three percent of US farmers
expect another bailout like the ones six years ago.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
They expect it. That's the thing everybody should be paying
attention to. They expect it. So Trump lied again. He's
not using one damn dollar to pay down the debt.
He's not gonna help us. He's gonna give it away
to special interest. But people will give to his campaign
and people he wants to keep voting for him. This
is exactly what happened during COVID. There are consequences for
(25:58):
actions of the government. There are the government cannot act
and there not be ramifications, both good and bad. When
you shut society down, people are gonna pay. You can
print all the money to try to avoid it you want.
People are gonna pay up. Eventually. They did. When you
charge tariffs, when you make things more expensive to come
into the country. In a global economy, people are going
to pay more for it. They are. You cannot avoid this.
(26:21):
And I'm so sick of the lying by this government
making people think that they can just play sim city
all day long and think there's no ramifications for it.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
So another thing they announced that the tariffs would go
to that is the Wick program, And the White House
Press Secretary said that the Trump administration will not allow
mothers and children to go hungry.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Who's going hungry? We have an obesity problem in this country.
We talk about it all the time. How many people
are obese? Who's going hungry? Who are the people that
are going hungry? Show them to me, Bring them to me.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
According to the Treasury Department, US tariff revenue hit thirty
one point three billion dollars in September.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Wait a minute, what is the debt?
Speaker 2 (27:06):
It's a thirty seven and a half trillion. Well, let's check.
Let's check the debt clock real quick. I want to
give an accurate assessment. The way we're running up money,
it may be higher than that. Now. The current US
debt thirty seven trillion, eight hundred and thirty nine billion,
five hundred and eleven million in rising by the second.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
So in April seventeen point four billion in tariff money,
in May twenty three point nine billion, in June twenty
eight billion, and July twenty nine billion, so all of
that tariff money is still not reaching.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
It's the trillions.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
It's a drop in the bucket. It's like doge. It's
irrelevant because they won't stop spending money. They won't stop
legalized vote buying, they won't stop printing money and giving
it to people and acting like they're doing something noble.
It never stops no matter who's in power, and we
(28:00):
will just continue to pay until everything in this world
gets unaffordable, until you cannot afford living.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Okay, well, here's maybe a solution for you. You could go
to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. Like Crater
of Diamonds State Park, it's in Arkansas and Indiana. Couple
went down there. They were on a visit, on a
little road trip. They stopped there, did some digging for diamonds,
left and then returned a few days later on their
(28:26):
way home, and they found a two point seven to one.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Car at white diamond. It's about the size of a pee.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
What's the value on that?
Speaker 3 (28:34):
It can range, but the high end twenty five thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Oh jackpot, paidev. They were very exciting trip.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
You're a big world traveler. You got to where is.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
That ark Arkansas?
Speaker 5 (28:46):
I think we go?
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Yeah, yeah, I don't like it. I don't like road house.
Now he doesn't want to play in the dirt. I'll
live vicariously through your travels. I'll bring a diamond for
thank you very much.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
Cretor of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. Are still finding
diamonds there.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
What's the most valuable thing you've ever like found? Like,
have you ever found a money on the street or something? Well?
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Sure, I mean you know I've found somebody drop a
ten or change.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
I think the most valuable thing I've ever found has
been in like a winter coat pocket.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Oh yeah, where you haven't worn.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
It all summer and then you go to put that
winter coat on and you're wait a minute, there's money
in this pocket.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
I so thought it was such a good day. I
literally thought, because you just had a smile on your face,
I thought you were literally going to say the most
valuable thing I've ever found is our friendship through this
radio show. Oh yes, that's true, and instead you went
with ten dollars in my coat pocket. Thanks, Casey.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Sorry to disappoint too. It is Kendell, like Casey, it's
ninety three wibc.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Hey, Look man, why haven't you asked Braun about property taxes?
Speaker 5 (29:51):
Come on? That hasn't even happened yet.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Oh no, Jason Hammer is here. Hammer. Hello.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
So the governor is coming on this afternoon.
Speaker 7 (30:01):
And we joke about this all the time because your
audience is conditioned for property tax conversations twenty four hours
a day, three sixty five.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
We've done well with them. Like, I'm surprised you haven't
set up some sort.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
Of hotline where you've called the property tax bitching and
moaning hotline. We should if you're upset at Braun, Press one,
if you're upset at the Indiana Senate Press two, Like
that should be something you guys totally do.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Don't you tell me what you're upset about?
Speaker 5 (30:27):
All right?
Speaker 7 (30:28):
So again, like always, we have fifteen minutes with the
governor this afternoon, and there's a lot of.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
Stuff I want to get to, right, So I don't believe.
Speaker 7 (30:36):
Property taxes are going to be on the menu for today.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Oh, I mean it shouldn't be. He's already screwed everybody
on that. He's now said other than those well meeting
people he meets with in his mansion, that he's not
doing anything else with it.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Had well, he said that, but.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Then the other day he was like, we're done, and
he thinks everybody's very happy.
Speaker 5 (30:53):
Why don't you ask.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Him who's happy with property taxes?
Speaker 3 (30:56):
No, you've got other stuff? What are you gonna ask
him about? Can we say, oh.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
Oh sure, I'm always loving suggestions. Please?
Speaker 1 (31:02):
No, no, I'm asking you what you want to talk
to you about?
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Getting ready to give me an election?
Speaker 3 (31:06):
No?
Speaker 7 (31:06):
No, no, So yeah, we're gonna get into delete tweet
gate right, that whole situation. As you know, I'm very
anti delete tweet. Ye can't delete sweets, can't delete tweets
unless it's for grammar or punctuation because those people spelling,
Like if I think the property text people are wearing
me out with that question, the grammar people are thirty times.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
As long as you repost, as long as you fix
the thing, repost it, no problem that because it's not
like you're embarrassed about the thought. You're just trying to
save yourself some grief of the grammar.
Speaker 7 (31:34):
Grammar, or if you put the wrong link or a
picture like the other day the Indie Star puts a
picture out of the Mark Sanchez story and it was
David Pollock. Now if I put that out, I would
probably you know, fix that, you know, updated. Sorry we
had the wrong picture, but I would address it. So
we're gonna get into that. I also want to find
out would you be interested in bringing National Guard to Indy?
(31:57):
These street takeovers imp they just don't have the man
force to deal with all this crap. They's still short
a couple hundred officers at the bare minimum. So would
you consider considering our homicide rate is technically higher than
Chicago's once you factor in population, would you consider National
Guard in Indy for crime. We're also going to get
(32:19):
into the ied C verpank you. There's some jobs numbers
coming out. So we got all of that. We're going
to try to squeeze it all in in fifteen minutes
and do the best we can. Hiwa, your audience won't
be too mad if we don't get to property taxes today.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Well, look, if I were you, I'd spend the whole
time on IDC. But you do your show. However you
want to do your show.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
Yeah, I want to get to the delete tweet and listen.
I'm open to National Guard. I think it'd be great.
Speaker 7 (32:43):
I don't know what you guys have seen on the
East side of Indie Man and even parts of downtown,
but these ridiculous street takeovers looks like something out of
a Fast and Furious movie. Sometimes they're partying with horses there.
We had ninety one call if somebody brought a freaking
horse to one of these street takeovers. Listen, IMPD is
down a couple hundred officers. They can't be putting, you know,
(33:04):
fifty officers out to street takeover. Well.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
The National Guard things an interesting conversation to me because
we're not talking about suspending civil liberties or your ability
to go to whatever bar you want to go to,
or about having these people on a corner so you'll
feel safer. What do I care if somebody's they're in uniform.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
Now, the thing about the National Guard is, depending on
what jobs they have, they have to be reassigned. They're
what they're allowed to do, what they can and can't do.
Speaker 7 (33:31):
And you also have to have the Federal prosecutors handy
because the National Guard can do their job and work
with police, and these people could be arrested all day long.
But knowing what we know about Marion County, they're gonna
be right back out the next day.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
A lot of the stuff they were doing crectly, I'm
rong Washington d C. Was they were doing taking on
administrative tasks so that the law enforcement could be out
doing that. They're like, what now you're talking about sweeping
people up off the streets or you know, throwing them
in a dungeon or without civil rights or what like.
Nobody's talking about that. We're talking about the presence on this.
What do I care if the National Guards on the street.
I still go to whatever bar I want to go to,
(34:04):
or sporting event or anything. What do I care if
they're there?
Speaker 7 (34:07):
Rob, you're taking away Democrat talking points. Please stop that
because I know people on social media accuse you of
being a Democrat operative.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Oh they are big.
Speaker 7 (34:16):
Time, and here you are destroying a Democrat narrative.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Has anybody explained that like to I mean, I get
I'm trying to have a rational conversation about this, but
why would a single solitary persons like they're going to
be in armored tanks in the streets, blocking traffic or
beating people with the butt of their guns. We're talking
about presences here. They can help an administrative capacity if
they see stuff, they can you know, potentially interview just
(34:39):
the presence if it's enough to deter people who cares.
Speaker 7 (34:43):
Right, And if any other president had suggested this, they
would have loved it. Yeah, if Joe Biden would have
suggested this, then the same people, these same people like
Governor Fat Pig in Illinois and everybody else, would say,
we're really taking safety, you know, seriously in this state.
Speaker 5 (35:00):
Turning a corner. This is what law and order looks like.
Speaker 7 (35:03):
But they're not because it's Donald Trump. And if you
watch any of these videos that came out at like Washington,
DC or Memphis, these are people that I'm just going
to say, are probably not Trump voters.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
They probably don't own a.
Speaker 7 (35:15):
MAGA hat celebrating the fact they could walk down the
street without being mugged.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Well, and we know during COVID they were caught on
camera that a lot of these people, especially when there's
civil unrest, protests, whatever. Now we're talking about day to
day operations of the city. But though these people are paid,
they coming from other cities, they cause havoc.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
It's organized, It totally is.
Speaker 7 (35:34):
Malik Muhammad was a guy that was one of the
organizers of.
Speaker 5 (35:37):
This kind of stuff.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
National Guard had some success when they were in Memphis.
They I mean, they found five missing children while they
were there.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
And that's huge. That's a great, big deal.
Speaker 7 (35:45):
And again, Washington DC certainly not going to be confused
for Maga country.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
The amount of videos on TikTok of people walking down
the streets.
Speaker 7 (35:54):
Going all right, Trump, Okay, you know, I thought that
was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Can we get an audit of the Malik Muhammad meet
and greet next? Can you ask Braun that today, now
that they've done the IDC audit, can we get an
audit of Eric Holcomb's meet and greet with Malik Muhammad, who,
by the way, I believe is still in jail in
Portland for attempting to take down cops.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
You mean he went city to city to calls chaos.
I'm shocked, you.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Sir, are human? Petri Dish, what's coming up other than
the governor this afternoon.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
Tony Kennett will join us.
Speaker 7 (36:25):
We've got the biggest stories of the day and Governor
Braun scheduled to be around four fifteen.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
All right, Tay Sammer It's Kendall and Casey on ninety
three WIBC
