Our government is a joke right now. They're voting like
to pay people who aren't working. They're fighting over whether
we should pay people who aren't working. It's like, if
you're going to pay them, why when you just have

So some members of Congress requesting their salaries be withheld
during the shutdown, and one guy has gone so far
that he's working to suspend the paychecks for members of
Congress during the shutdown.

If you didn't do your job in business, you didn't
get paid. You don't show up and do your job,
you don't get paid. Why are we getting paid. We
shouldn't get paid if we don't do our job. We
figured we need to figure out how to work together
to get our budgets done. It's as simple as that.

tongue moment of lapse of judgment, he is the first
person who find that I have heard finally admit out
loud that all they're doing is continuing to fund Joe
Biden's government, which if they wanted to win the shutdown

and win the American people, that should be their talking
point is that we are continuing to fund the very
government that these people all voted for the Democrat president
of the United States. Now they won't do that because
the Republicans theme of the day, Republicans being habitual liars
and deceivers, don't want to admit that's what they're doing,
because they lied to you again last election. And promise

biggest thing they have in their defense they won't use,
which is all they're doing is funding Joe Biden's government.

So now you've got the USDA saying they don't have
the nine point two billion dollars that they would need
to keep snap benefits from running out. And that's going
to happen unless the Democrats a vote to end to
shut down, and food stamp recipients aren't going to receive
their benefits in the beginning Saturday.

And the IRS is the RS closed? Can they not
accept our taxes during the shutdown?

You know what, I'm not sure about that.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
What do you want to bet the IRS is still
open and fully functioning? That? If that they are still
auditing people and still you know, doing investigations into people.
What do you want to bet the IRS didn't make
the list of things that shut down and you don't
they can't do provide service anymore.

Yes, the IRS is partially open during the government's shutdown.
Of course it is. They say, many services are limited, yes,
but yeah, you can still give the government your money.

Yeah, boy, they noticed they didn't shut that one down.

Utterly, the whole thing is ridiculous. Both sides are completely
disgraceful and just everyone should be ashamed of everyone.
