Adam Cooper is joined by Cricket Wellington's Matt Wilson to preview the day's action in premier men's and women's club cricket, including the finals ahead in the men's division two T20 competition.

Let's look at the day's action ahead and Premier Men's
and Women's Club cricket. Matt will soon out of cricket,
Wellington is back with us. Morning to you, Matt, morning,
how are we? I'm good so cricket. You're back on
a Saturday this weekend Matt, following the one day last weekend,
and let's talk Premiere one cricket. Firstly, for the men obviously,
it was a change of format last week and Matt

still was the white ball and fifty overs for them.

Things, yep, that's right, one round in and it was
a very good round two with some really tight first
round matchups between the eight teams, which is good to
see early draws. Game of the Hut Wreck was the
rival's Hut District against Tighter. Really tight a fair as
I've mentioned between a few of them, this one no different.
Tighter winning narrowly by just six runs over Hut District,

so a really tight one there. It looked for a
while that We're going to take it easily, but credits
to Tighter and their bowler is laid in the game.
They really kept them, kept them down and managed to
scrad through for the win. First round to title be
wrapped with that, following on from their T twenty win
in the final the week before against the same opposition

Patoni and Vic. They did battle at Kilbernie Park, Vic
getting the win there in the end by seven wickets,
so fairly comfortable for them. They're against Potoni in round
one to go top of the table. They got a
bonus point so they're on five points leading the pack
after the first round. East they're at home against Corrori
on Kilburny one and East's got the job done there,

winning by around twenty odd runs there, so that was
a fairly tight. Cory just couldn't quite get there. So
first round wins East and up at Barton Oval, a
three run victory for Upper Heart in a really tight
one against Onslow. Upper Heart May one hundred and seventy
two and Onslow were bowled out for one hundred and

sixty nine to some really tight first round games and
premiere one. As we head into round two today, East
there against the Tony again at home at Kilbernie Hut
District at home once again there against Krori Upper Hearts.
They are entertaining at home again as well at Barton
There against vic Uni who make the trailf trip up there,

and Onslow. They've got their first home game of the
season at the Nville Park there against Tighter.

very close to finding a champion now for the twenty
twenty competition.

who are running just a little bit pined prem one
in terms of their t twenty, so they'll finish that
up today. It is semi final day. Their fifty overs
will start next week. Semifinals number one are Alex Moore
Park at Johnsonville who are currently top of the table.
They've won all their games, looking really strong there against
Wellington Collegions. Collegians will be wrapped to make the semi final.

Upon their return to Premier Cricket this year in North City,
they finished seconds after the round robin, so they will
entertain the Sri Lankan Sports Club at Linden Park in
Semi Final two and again the Sri Lankans in their
debut season at Premier Cricket, doing very well to scrape
into the semifinals, so they'll be up for that one
today and in the fifth B sixth playoffs it's nine

to nine against Wainui out at nine nine Parks, so
some really exciting matchups and Premier two those semi finals,
so that'll be in the morning at ten thirty and
in the final scheduled for three o'clock in the afternoon
at alex Moore.

All right, busy day for those teams, particularly the successful
ones to make it to that decider later on. And
in the women's competition battle so one round into the
new season.

Yeah, that's right. They started last week with their T twenty.
So it was Upperhart against Johnsonville at Trentam and Upper
Heart got the job done. They're fairly comfortably by nine wickets.
Patonio against Collegians Collegians winning that one by six wickets
and City Suburbs they got the job done over the
defending champions North City in a bit of a shock upset. Interestingly,

the top three all losing, the top three from last
year all losing in round one, so it does bowl
well for an exciting competition hopefully if the other three
are going to start picking up a few more wins
this year and that certainly looks to be the case,
so they'll be wrapped with their start. Johnsonville Collegians and
City Suburbs so sorry, Upper Huts Collegians and City Suburbs.

again at and O Anderson Park against North City Johnsonville.
