This is your morning show with Michael del Chung.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Anybody heard a rooster crow three times yet this morning? Nope.
I did say by the next time we speak, Joe
Biden would be out.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
There.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
You go. That's kind of crazy, So right off with
what I told you so seven minutes after the hour,
Thanks for waking up with your morning show on Michael
del Jorno on the Aaron streaming live on your iHeart app.
President Joe Biden is dropping out of the twenty twenty
four race for the White House. He is endorsed Vice
President Harris for the job. The Clintons amended and the
Obamas did not. What do you make of that. I
(01:08):
have a theory coming up. DEM's busy Cordt coronating Kamala
Harris for the job. Budd West Virginia's Joe Manchin is
reportedly considering a run for president. Biden is out, is
Cheatle next? The Secret Service director Kimberly Cheedle will be
on Capitol Hill today. Delta Airlines is apologizing for thousands
of canceled flights over the weekend following a massive computer disruption.
(01:31):
And Xander Schoffley wins the Open after a final round
sixty five two stroke win over Justin Rose and Billy Herschel.
Billy got the Best Dressed award, though with his Ralph
Lauren vest he looked like a champion. Unfortunate least Ander
played more like one in the back nine. All right,
if you're just waking up far and away, the big
(01:51):
story is Joe Biden is out. You know the what? Why?
Why did this happen? What's next? How will it all work?
Is there some reality in hurdles that this entire coronation
strategy hasn't thought of? And what are the four wheels
of this getaway car? And might all tires be prepared
(02:15):
to blow out. In fact, I will make such a
case that if Donald Trump wants to play the law
law fair game, he can do it. It's all in
his court. Now, we're going to surround ourselves in a
lot of really good minds. David does an Audi will
be joining us in the American Policy Roundtable and host
(02:36):
of the Public Square, heard on two hundred stations, loss
of visit with Chris Walker, Republican consultant and analyst, our reporters,
National correspondent Roory O'Neil, our White House correspondent John Decker,
and Aaron Rayl admitutes, I just want to start from
the beginning. What this much we know? Now? I will
tell you in all this chaos, so far, all we
(02:57):
have is a Twitter announcement. The President has yet to
inform the American people from the Oval Office that he
is out and out for sure. All indications are he is.
So how did we get here? You really have to
go back to the whole twenty twenty game that was played,
(03:18):
and that is the shadow campaign to save the democracy.
If you go back and you read a February fifteenth
time piece February fifteenth of twenty twenty one, the shadow
campaign to save the democracy. They tell you everything, and
it's how they quote unquote cheated. Farren Square did what
(03:38):
they had to do, not to get Joe Biden just elected,
but to save democracy from Donald Trump. And what did
they do. They controlled the narratives because they controlled the media.
They silenced any opposition views because they controlled technocracy and
social media. Then they weaponized COVID, changed election laws, didn't
go through state legislatures, which was unconstitution but they did it,
(04:01):
and in the swing states that were really narrow, they
managed to save the democracy. Now, there's another way of
looking at it, and it's this way. They took an
old man who came in fourth in Iowa, seventh in
New Hampshire to block Bernie Sanders from getting the nomination.
He'd have got it in twenty sixteen to two, but
they blocked it. So now, what do you do with
(04:23):
this old Joe Biden. Yeah, hide him in a basement
through all the COVID and you get away with it. Now,
by the way, Joe Biden twenty twenty was in a
much better cognitive state, albeit he was telling corn pop
stories than he was now. The problem is you pretty
(04:43):
much hit him as a president too until the debate.
Now there was enough of Joe Biden out there for
anybody to see. They were cognitive issues. So how did
we get here? Shadow campaign to save the Demoocracy, can't
hide the old man anymore. Then he gets on a debate,
(05:04):
all is revealed. Then he does a couple of make
good interviews to try to get you to forget about
the date debate. But that was with Stephanopolis. That one terrible.
Then Lester Holt that one even worse. Add a few
more gas, and the pressure begins, led by Axios and
Washington Post and the leftist mainstream media, Hollywood, Clooney, the
(05:28):
disastrous West Coast fundraiser or Obama had to show him
off the stage physically and literally, and it was an
all out press to get him out. Now it's an
all out press to get Ya Kamala. Moving forward, here
(05:50):
are the big questions. What's driving the outcome of this election?
Failed policies from a failed war worldview that has created
a border crisis, an inflation crisis, an interest rate crisis,
an economic crisis, to war crisis. Is that driving it?
(06:13):
Or personalities in faces, Because if you shift the faces
and not the policy, it really doesn't matter. So will
American voters be viewing policies or persons for the Democrats?
You know, it's kind of like you're in a fight
and you've got an eye soollen shut, you've got a
(06:37):
broken rib. What do you protect the body or the head?
So are they going to focus on the rust belt
or the West Coast? But then ultimately, what the conversation
really needs to be is is this a twenty twenty
or a nineteen sixty eight playing out? To give you
some background on nineteen sixty eight, that was the last
(06:58):
time a sitting president withdrew from a presidential race. Lyndon
Johnson did it from the Oval Office. Now things were different.
Then war was the same. The war then was Vietnam.
America saw Probably.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
The final straw to the tet offensive was when Walter
Cronkite went and broadcast from Vietnam for a solid week
and America started getting a glimpse things aren't going great.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
In fact, things are going awful. Then you had all
out chaos, an anti Vietnam and an actual candidate arise
Eugene McCarthy, so an anti war candidate. Then all the
civil rights movements, you had George Wallace appear as an
anti civil rights candidate. Then you have Bobby Kennedy get
(07:45):
into the race. Then you have MLK assassinated, and then
you have RFK assassinated, you have Johnson, and the Democrats
just handed over to the Vice president, as they're doing
right now with Kamala Harris. The biggest problem was RFK
was going to win but then killed. Nixon played and
spoke to the silent center of America and won the election.
(08:11):
Of course, that was after a disastrous Chicago Democrat Party
convention filled with violence on the streets and inside the
convention hall. Convention this year Chicago. The war this year
Israel in Ukraine. The candidates, well, they've yet to form,
(08:31):
but there's an RFK in there, and there's a big
question mark what his role will be. I mean, the
parallels from nineteen sixty eight we have been talking about
for months. In fact, two weeks ago, chillingly, I said, well,
all that's left is Biden to drop out and an assassination.
(08:52):
Since then, we've had an assassination attempt. If Donald Trump
doesn't turn you would have had your assassination. We haven't
made the case two weeks ago that Trump really is
the RFK not RFK junior in this race. And now
you've got Biden out of the race. So what's next, Well,
that just leaves a violent convention in Chicago. But I
(09:12):
think there's some stuff in between. So twenty twenty would
suggest that just as they turned to a inside party solution,
which in that time. Keep in mind, Kamala Harris was
Joe Biden's biggest attacker, called him racist, terrible things. She
(09:37):
was also the first to leave the twenty twenty primary process.
She was a big fat bust and Biden was just
a trojan horse hidden in a basement. But what most
people didn't connect the dots to is Kamala Harris was
(10:01):
the Clinton apparatus candidate, meaning all the Clinton grasstops, money,
all the Clinton strategists, all the Clinton foot soldiers, they
were behind Kamala Harris. The Obama crowd was behind Biden.
Problem is you got John Podesta, who is the longest
serving president in American history. He served eight years under
(10:24):
Bill Clinton, eight years under Barack Obama, and now three
and a half or whatever under Joe Biden. He was
both Clinton and Biden, Clinton and Obama apparatus. He's still
in charge. So some of the key q's I watched
was Alex Soros, for example, George Soros's son immediately praising
(10:46):
Kamala Harrison endorsinger. The Clintons themselves, Hillary and Bill immediately
praise and endorse Kamala Harris. But did you notice Barack
Obama didn't. So we're right back where we were in
twenty twenty. How do you solve this? You know, inside
the party with these two two term powerful Clinton and
(11:10):
Obama influences, not necessarily Bill or Hillary and Barack only,
but they're strategists, they're grasstops, bundlers and fundraisers, they're foot soldiers. Translation,
you just lost an Obama candidate, so you're waiting on
an Obama vice president. They got the president the first
(11:33):
four years, they'll get the vice president of the next
four years. Clinton's got the VP the first four years,
they'll get the top of the ticket these four years.
Of course, the American people and the Democrat delegates and
voters are all still out there now. One of the
things that we talked about is if it's nineteen sixty eight,
they're going to turn to Kamala. If it's twenty twenty,
(11:54):
they're going to add somebody the ticket to please the
Obama apparatus. If it's twenty twenty, they'll pull it off
and win. If it's nineteen sixty eight, they lose. We'll
look at twenty twenty versus nineteen sixty eight. Nineteen sixty
eight has led us pretty well up until now. A
(12:15):
couple of other things. How it will work is really key,
and as we go through how it will all work
and the other candidates, again, they're going to have to
make a choice. And this is something I picked up
on the weekend I haven't heard anybody talk about, and
I can't wait to run this by David Zonatti, especially
as well as Chris Walker. You'll notice the Senate race
(12:37):
vulnerabilities match exactly with the electoral college presidential vulnerabilities. So
the ten seats that they're worried about not so much
West Virginia and Montana and Tester, but Ohio, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin,
those all match electoral college map challenges. Is there a
(12:57):
way for the Democrats to strategize this and cover the
electoral college map and the Senate map that's worth kicking around,
And then there's all the different candidates. Gavin Newsom, though
he's endorsed Kamala Harris, Senator Mark Kelly, Navy pilot astronaut
Gabby Givers's husband, he could firm up Arizona somewhere on
(13:17):
the ticket, and he has quickly endorsed Kamala. So you
could address the electoral college map as well as a
Senate race with a Kamala Kelly. Don't forget you got
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro out there. Pennsylvania's key. There is
no path forward for any Democrat without Philadelphia. At Michigan,
(13:38):
which is now a seven point Trump lead, clearly is
a vulnerability. So Governor Gretchen Whitmer is in the picture.
Let's talk about you know what happened. It's the why
and how what comes next and how that will work.
But there's this one big and tangible that you might
not hear anywhere else, and that is the reality versus
(14:02):
the consequences and hurdles. There are four tires on this
getaway car and they all could be stopped by a
big court nail, that pesky little constitution. This is your
Morning Show with Michael del Chrono. Biden is out. Now
what let the real fun begin. Aaron Real is joining us.
(14:24):
We were talking about what might have been the final
straw off the air. Let's do it on the air.
I'm guessing it could have been the Michigan Pole, Trump
leading by seven, Virginia Pole. Now with Trump leading by two,
that could have been the final straw. I guess the
money drying up. Well, probably never know. The bottom line
is Biden's out. Now what let's start with money.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Let's start with money. Yeah, what happens to the fund?
So I want to actually begin.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
With Act Blue.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
Act Blue is this grassroots, you know, campaign supporting vehicle essentially,
and they raised nine pm from the announcement yesterday afternoon
to nine pm last night, forty six million dollars. This
is the Democratic donation processing site. This is following Harris's
campaign launch, biggest fundraising.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Day the cycle before.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
So far, they've renamed the campaign Harris for President and
she now inherits theoretically the ninety six million in campaign
funds that they had in their coffers from Biden to her.
Now here's the tricky part when we're talking about the money.
Biden Harris campaign obviously considerable amount of money, but it
doesn't transfer to any candidate just because he dropped out,
(15:37):
unless unless the nominee is Harris, which is why this
would make it much cleaner. You know, Harris is just
Harris just assumes the top of the ticket that they
were fundraising for the Biden Harris campaign in the first place,
so that money would be at her disposal. But all
of that said, Oh and by the way, super Pac
money is like, they can do whatever they want with that, right,
But now we have the Democratic National Convention potentially as
(16:00):
exciting as the Republican which I thought could not be beat.
But that's August nineteenth, and the party might decide that
they'd be better off with a more competitive selection.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Let let's cut to the chase. She has the benefit
of money. She also has the way of hiding Joe's
condition and the policies that translated to most of the
things the voters are upset with. That will be her challenge.
But as for the money, she has access to the
thirty six million immediately, but the ninety six that she's
inheriting not till after the nomination process, right.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
Not till after the nomination process, that is correct, And
obviously they have to like settle debts and all the
other stuff. But yeah, she is going to inherit that
big those coffers. But let's be clear. There's forty six
hundred Democratic National Convention delegates, and while Biden has endorsed
Harris and can recommend that his delegates do the same,
he doesn't have control over the outcome in anyway. And
(16:53):
obviously there's Democratic governors.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
You have Whitmri the delegate. The super delegates come in
after the first vote, so that becomes key. She's got
some of the money now, not all the money now,
and none of the delegates yet. Hey it's me Michael.

You can leave a comment or you shock Joe Biden left,
Who do you think will replace him? What do you
think is next? We can share that with a class.
A lot of people record the I'm so and so
(18:00):
from such and such in my morning show as your
morning show there as well. I just got an email
from Catherine who brought up the Katzenberg meeting. That's the
money drying up side of the story. I think Nancy
Pelosi was probably the most powerful voice of all the
Democrats that were uniting, urging Joe a step aside. I
think the media pressure was the easiest for him to resist,
(18:22):
but the polling, the money, Pelosi, a little bit of
Chucky Schumer, it all became too much. We felt like
it would be done. I think at some point you
have to say disastrous debate really goes back to twenty
twenty and choosing him. He had cognitive issues then, but
you were able to hide him in a basement, weaponized COVID,
change election laws, and get him elected. I think the
(18:44):
plan was then to have him leave and he wouldn't
so then eventually it comes time for reelection, he won't go.
Then you have a debate. Now Toto has pulled the
curtain aside and all can see the odds the wizard
for what he is. So then you try to do
an interview with Stephanopoulos. That's a disaster. Then you try
(19:05):
to do an interview with Lester Holt. That's a disaster.
Then the pressure really mounts, and I think the final
Michigan pole trailing by seven. I think the Virginia poll,
and then there's a third pole that CNN conducted that
would suggest that Kamala Harris is within one point of him. Well, now,
other than the lord knocking on his door, that met
(19:26):
all of his criteria. But I think the final blow
was the other side of it, the law fair to
stop Trump. That didn't work. The more you charged him,
the higher he went in the polls. He didn't have
to battle out for a primary. He didn't even appear
in a debate, and he made short work of the primary.
(19:46):
Then he got the best Donald Trump really quite frankly
tied up in court, talking very little, all the surrogates
coming to speak for him to get around the gag
order really kind of served as a uniting force. And
then an assassination attempt that failed. Lookout. They headed to Milwaukee, energized, united,
then put together a great Monday, on out of this
(20:10):
world Tuesday that may never be matched ever again in politics.
For me, the least surprising news I said it all
Friday morning. He'll be out by the time we visit again.
He's out, and we're visiting again. President Biden has dropped
out of the twenty twenty four race. He's endorsed Vice
(20:31):
President Harris. I might add Gavin Newsom. Of course, everything's
you know, they were all endorsed with Joe just days ago,
so you know, take it with a grain of salt.
But two candidates a lot of people are thinking about,
Kelly and Arizona Newsom in California have also endorsed Kamala Harris.
Bill and Hillary Clinton endorsed Kamala Harris. But did you
(20:54):
notice the o'biden The Obamas did not. That's interesting because
in twenty twenty, the way they solved this was the
Obama apparatus got Biden at the top of the ticket,
the Clinton apparatus got Cammal at the bottom of the ticket.
How do you please these two term presidential war machines
within the party. And then there's the delegates who might
(21:15):
feel like, hey, these these aren't yours to pass around,
or donors, this isn't your money to pass around. Keep
in mind, they've gone to the FEC, they've changed officially
it to Harris for President instead of Biden Harris for President,
but that doesn't necessarily mean the FEC is going to
approve it, and they have all access to the ninety
(21:36):
six million dollars in the bank. They've raised thirty six
million more, as you just heard Aaron Rayel say, she
may have access to that, but the ninety six million
can't be spent and isn't awarded until after the convention.
Speaking of the convention, what do we do with this
virtual roll call that's coming up now? One part of
your logic would say, well, that was Biden and his
(21:57):
administration trying to rush this so that nobody could force
him out. And now that he's out, why bother, Well,
you still have to do it to meet Ohio law
unless you want to move forward with nobody on the
ticket in Ohio. So there's a lot of questions to
be asked. For me, the biggest questions are the American
people focused on personalities or policies that have failed. Time
(22:21):
will tell, will the left make a play to defend
the Roust Belt or the West Coast. If you look
at the ten Senate seats that are leaning to flip
to Republicans, there's the same troubled states and the Senate
races that you see on the electoral college map. So
there ought to be a proclivity to somewhere on this
(22:44):
ticket address Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin. And that's a
West Coast versus Rust Belt choice to come. And then
trying to figure out what's next is like, well, do
we follow the twenty twenty roadmap or the nineteen sixty
eight And it sure has felt like to me, which
is why I keep predicting things. Right, I'm just following
(23:06):
nineteen sixty eight. That's why two weeks ago we said, well,
they're still an assassination and a Biden to go Lbj's
gotta go. Somebody's gotta be shot. Well, we had our
assassination attempt, and Joe Biden has now gone. So what's next. Well,
in thirty days, a very violent on the streets and
(23:29):
in the convention hall. Democratic Party convention, and boy does
this add to that picture, a free for all the
protests over the war and Ukraine and there you're gonna
(23:53):
just had something die. Somebody tried to take me out, Jeffrey,
somebody tried to take me out. You gotta be careful
of it, as see. But the you know, the war,
that's going to be a big contention and could lead
to unrest the delegates. You know, one of the things
we're talking about with David Zonatti next half hour is
(24:13):
you could have a field day with legal challenges over
the money over the delegates. Quite frankly, you could have
it over the role call the virtual role call. I mean,
Donald Trump is sitting in a position where he can
now make law fare the issue with him on the
(24:34):
offense of this time. So the Democrats this morning, as
you wake up, are busy trying to coronate Kamala as
the heir apparent in money in delegates in unity. But
there's a lot of people that are going to have
us say, Yet, what do you do with RFK, What
do you do with West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin who's
now considering a run for president. And yes, Biden's out,
(24:59):
but is Cheatle? Next Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle will
be on Capitol Hill today. Here's something to look for today.
How much attention is that going to get? You can say,
there's a lot of uncertainty for the Democrats ahead. Here's
one certainty, and the one certainty is this, they own
(25:20):
media attention for the distant, for now and the distant future.
If you're Donald Trump, how do you keep your post
convention momentum alive? Now? And the way the polls are
(25:41):
going and the surge from the RNC convention was going,
yesterday was the perfect day to rush your announcement and
then make it formal later in the week. You will
own everyone's attention and all the media between now and
the end of your convention in thirty days. Shoji got
shat going for him. So there's so much to talk about.
(26:05):
You know what happened Biden's dropping out of the race.
Why We'll debate that for years technically, because it couldn't
win and he's cognitively impaired and everybody knows it, and
the money dried up, and the party support dried up,
and of course the media support dried up. First. What's next, Well,
that's where it gets tricky. I'm keeping an eye on
(26:26):
these Senate seats that are about to flip in the
same states that are a problem for them in the
electoral college map, I'm looking at failed policies versus personalities.
So what's really changed no matter who you put in
and this protect the rust belt or the West coast,
or this playing out of the twenty twenty political script
(26:47):
or the nineteen sixty eight political script. If it's twenty twenty,
it suggests they could pull it off again. If it's
nineteen sixty eight, Trump wins like Nixon one, that's what
we're gonna be kicking around. We'll get some more great
voices in here to help you with that. If you're
just waking up, these are your top five stories of
the day. And I think you know what no moro
funo is, but Brian Shook makes it official.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
This comes after Democratic leaders for weeks have expressed concerns
about the eighty one year old's mental fitness and his
path to victory over Donald Trump. Biden was diagnosed with
COVID on Wednesday and has been in self isolation at
his beach house in Delaware. The Democrat National Convention to
nominate the party's candidate for president is scheduled to be
(27:30):
held August nineteenth. Through the twenty second. I'm Brian Shook,
and now.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
The coronation of Kamala Harris is in full swing, picking
up major support from within her state after President Biden
says he will not run for reelection. Phil Ferrar has
the details.
Speaker 7 (27:46):
California Governor Gavin Newson has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris
as the Democratic presidential nominee.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
On social media.
Speaker 7 (27:54):
He wrote, she is tough, fearless, and tenacious. The governor
continued to praise with this message. With our democracy at
stake and our future on the line, no one is
better to prosecute the case against Donald Trump's dark vision
and guide our country in a healthier direction. In America's
Vice President Kamala Harris. I'm Phil Fararar.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
I was kicking around with a friend my predictions. You
know on a role. I predicted Biden would be gone
by the end of the weekend. So what's next. Well,
one of the things I predicted was a Kamala Harris.
Arizona Senator Mark Kelly Tickett guess it was one of
the first to come out and endorse President Vice President
Harris for president. Chris Carragio has a report interposed on
an X.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
The former NASA astronaut and US Navy combat pilot said
he couldn't be more confident that Vice President Kamala Harris
is the right person to defeat Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Kelly added he and his wife.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Gifferts, will do everything they can
to help Harris win the election. Political analysts have named
Kelly as one of the possible choices to be Harris's
running mate. Other names have included Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro
and Kentucky Governor Andy Bisheer.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
I'm Chris Caragio. Well, there's no question Kamala Harris as
the benefit of money. That makes it simple, but she
also has the weight of the cover up, and that
didn't take long for a Trump pack to pounce on
Lisa Carton has details.
Speaker 8 (29:09):
Donald Trump's supporters are accusing VP Kamala Harris of covering
up President Biden's struggles. A Trump pack just launched a
new ad. Aamala was in on it. She covered up
Joe's obvious mental decline.
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Our president is in good shape, in good.
Speaker 9 (29:24):
Health, tireless, vibrant. Kamalin knu Joe couldn't do the job,
so she did it.
Speaker 8 (29:29):
Republicans want Biden to resign immediately. I'm Lisa Carton, Well.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Joe's out. What about Cheatle? Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheetah
will be on Capitol Hill today as lawmakers demand answers
over the attempt on former President Trump's life. She'll testify
before the House Oversight Committee, or she'll be questioned over
how a sniper was able to get within one hundred
and thirty yards of a former president. Many lawmakers are
calling for Cheatle to step down be fired. The Department
(29:55):
of Homeland Securities Inspector General is also investigating the shooting
and report Segumen was flagged as suspicious roughly twenty minutes
before shots were fired, and Trump was still allowed to
go on stage Twisters. I actually went to the movie
theater confession. Did you see that it was good? It
was really good. Okay, not as good as the twisters
(30:15):
that broke after I got out of the theater with
the fucking news, but really good. Brought in over eighty
million dollars over the weekend and second to spickleb with
me for still cashing and inside out too, Still cashing
in came in third place. Two months after, Xander Schaffley
captured his first major championship victory, the PGA Championship at
Valhalla and Louisville, Kentucky. He added a second, the one
(30:38):
hundred and fifty second Open Championship at Royal True Golf Club.
Shoffley won the Open after a final round sixty five
with a two stroke win over Justin Rose and Billy Horschell.

Birthdays Today, SNL's David's Babe Tommy Boyd sixty years old. Today,
(31:03):
actor John Leguizamo is sixty. Singer actress Selena Gomez is
thirty two and second in line for the English throne.
This is Steeve the wrestler, a refugee from the People's
Republic of Minnesota, and my morning show is your Morning
Show with Michael del join Home. You know I heard
(31:25):
a little voice right before we had that technical difficulty. Really, yeah,
who was this?
Speaker 9 (31:29):
He's got to be stopped.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
And then suddenly the microphone blew up. Thought it was
a studio. President Biden has dropped out of the twenty
twenty four presidential race. But you knew that did it
in a next statement. Then minutes later in the next statement, finally,
I just as I looked at my wife and I said,
you notice he didn't endorse Kamala And then in the
second statement came out endorsing Kamala Harris. Then the Clintons
were first to chime in to cast their support because
(31:54):
Kamala Harris is the Clinton candidate. Barack Obama, Michelle Obama
did not. That drama will still play out, and now
the race is on to coordinate her, get her access
to all of Joe's money, that's their best shot, and
get all the delegates who are technically free agents to
(32:14):
start forming so that they can create a United Democratic Convention.
But that makes a big assumption. So here's what happens.
At the end of June, the Biden Harris campaign had
almost ninety six million dollars in cash on hand. The
Biden Harris campaign formally amended filings with the Federal Election
(32:35):
Commission on Sunday to rename the committee. So now it's
the Harris for President bank account. But that assumes the
FEC will approve, and the access to the ninety six
million that was already there isn't really hers to spend
until after she is officially the nominee, so that would
(32:57):
suggest it has to wait till after the convention, and
even then the money, sir, that's the good news. But
the delegates are not and they're free agents. They're also
subject to lawsuits and lawfare. Joe Biden is not dead
and a primary has happened and voters have voted, so
(33:19):
there might be some legal challenges. More on that minutes
with David Zanati. The other problem for her is she's
an easy target. A new Trump packad has already come out.
It didn't wait, it was ready to go waiting and
was out in five minutes.
Speaker 9 (33:34):
Listen, Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe's
obvious mental decline.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
Our president is in good shape, in good health, tireless, vibrant,
and I have no doubt about the strength of the
work that we have done.
Speaker 10 (33:47):
But Kamalin knew Joe couldn't do the job, so she
did it. Look what she got done. A border invasion,
runaway inflation, the American dream dead. They created this mess.
They know Kamala owns this failed record.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
I did something on the air at a previous station
in another life, not nearly as happy as the life
I have now, But I talked about how Joe Biden
was supposed to leave and didn't, and then waited sixty
four days to have a news conference, and when he
finally did, he handed the poison apple to Kamala Harris
the border. Look, Kamala may eventually get the money, she
(34:27):
may be coordinated, coordinated as the next top of the ticket,
but she also has the weight of the cover up
and the weight of all the failed policies. That's why
to come full circle, and it turns out being a
one hour monologue. Actually, will America keep its eye on
the policies or will they be diverted to the persons
and personalities? Well the left guard, the rust belt or
(34:49):
the West coast will twenty twenty or nineteen sixty eight
play out. We're all in this together. This is your
Morning show with Michael Hill. Join up.
