fake artificial orange flavor.

I have to met. I'm a little excited. Why is that?
I've always wanted to meet Totsigabad and today is today's
they gabbad day? Are you gonna do the whole interview
like that? Do you know the book for the Love
of Country, Leave the Democrat Body Behind? It is a
Simon and schusta book. She is impressive.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
A US state representative, a United States representative for eight
years representing the state of Ohio in the People's House,
a lieutenant colonel in the Army, an Iraqi veteran, and
a former presidential Democrat candidate.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
What's that? I have Aaron on the phone.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
But I'm talking about Telsea, not Aaron right now. I
mean Aaron's life's impressive too. No, Aaron played hockey as
a child. That's impressive. No, we got Telsea Gabbard coming
out next hour. I'm excited to talk to her about
all the wealthy No, no, no, I'm saying at six
we have her. I was just doing a tease of her.

(02:52):
Now I'm talking to you.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Wait a minute. People don't understand you can hear Aarin
when nobody else can. I don't understand why that happens,
But you two could. I have to jump up the phone.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Do you want to have the do you I had
six or five books for Nashville.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Do you guys want to do it?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
We do? Okay, yeah, I have.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
To jump at a six six fourteen.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well, then you've got plenty of time, all right.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
The President gave his address half of the Democrats split
on bb Net and yeah, who welcome And then we've
got Telsea Gabbert Next Hour, Thursday July the twenty fifth.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Boy, you just don't let me tease anything but you.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Aaron Rayel is joining us on the hottest job markets
in a generation.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Where are they? I don't know why. She can't hear me?

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Wait you hear me?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I can hear you? Can you hear me?

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Yeah? Sorry, I was so confused. I didn't know who
were lyve absolutely no understanding of what happened.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
What was happening?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yes, job, job market.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
It is okay, coolly a bit, but it's all relative
to what it was.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
So the unemployment rate.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
It actually ticked up to four point one percent. It's
the first time that it crossed.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Twenty one.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
But let's be clear, it's still.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Low by historical measures.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
But that frenzied pace that we had is calm. I
don't spend any time for anyone to, you know, terrified
this time to have a job.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
It's started to find one, all right.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
So most of the job gains bragged about by this administration.
And again they're smart to do that, but it's also
smart for people to correct them.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
That is compared to covid UH.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
It's still low unemployment, but it is ticking up, not
necessarily great sign. And if you're going to talk about
it's the hottest job market, but isn't isn't part of
the problem Aaron two, that we have a lot of
jobs and not a lot of workers.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Indeed, it is part of the equation here and convey
that the historically unusual dynamic that causes huge boom and jobs. Obviously,
the economy was shut down during the pandemic and then
came roaring back to life when they open it up.
It was always going to be kind of fleeting, but
a lot of employees took the opportunity.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
To fight for wage growth. We saw ups drivers, auto workers,
healthcare workers.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Even like brewery workers.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
They all negotiated really big gains and year over year,
if you look at the wage growth, it peaked in
March of twenty twenty two at almost six percent according
to federal data. It's back down a three point nine
percent last month, so wages.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
Aren't growing as fast.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
But what we fortunately, and this is a good thing,
we're not seeing layoffs yet. It's just the hiring has
flowed well.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
We're seeing a lot of debt. But we're not saying
what I'm seeing default yet either, But that doesn't mean
it's true on the horizon.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
Yeah, is this a the Canary and coal mine?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, I guess we're searching and searching art When Everic
comes back next hour, there'll be no confusion. There'll be
no in and out phone lines, which, by the way,
isn't interesting how the phone lines work when we're off
the air, but not on the air.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
What is that? I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
But Erin's going to be talking about Vice President Harris
and the amount of money that she has read She's
got that much going for Erin. I'll have that report
a little bit later on. All right, thanks Eron. It's
eleven minutes after the hour. All right, So the president
finally spoke. You know, Expectations probably weren't very high, and
I don't even think he met those For me, in

(06:18):
my preview, I can tell you this that my wife
and I were very human last night.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Look he's out. There's no I've been human really throughout.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I mean, I think at the point that Joe Biden
decides to be president, well then he becomes my problem,
you know, to run for president of life. Expectancy is
not my problem, all right. So there's a human side
of me that respects my elders. It doesn't like to
see anybody incognitive impair. I know that long goodbye and

(06:50):
what it looks like, but when you're the president of
the United States, then it becomes my problem.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
So last night, all we wanted was a simple human moment.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Okay, let's give him some grace, Let's give him a
lot of mercy. Let an old president say goodbye.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
But he didn't.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
That's the problem. You wanted him to maybe have his
best performance. We saw that with Richard Nixon. When Richard
Nixon finally resigned in the White House, it was his
best speech of his political career. The minute it was
over and he could relax, boom, he was at his best.

(07:27):
And when the case necessarily for Joe Biden last night,
I knew his pride would make it difficult or impossible
for him to admit I'm too old to serve another
four years, or make it impossible for him to admit
the polls suggest and my constituents and colleagues suggest I

(07:52):
can't win. So I have to step aside and hand
things over to someone who might be able to.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
And I knew he'd go through a laundry.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
List of ridiculous stretched accomplishments, and I guess goals for
the final hundred days. I mean, in one hundred days,
he expects to end wars. If you can end wars,
end him right now, cure cancer if you hear cancer,
what are you waiting for? You waited for this hundred days.
You should have done it from day one. Then it

(08:23):
got to be kind of like a State of the
Union wish list. I don't think it was a powerful
handoff to Kamala Harris. In fact, just a brief reference
to a younger generation to finish the job. What finally

(08:44):
caused me to leave my throne of grace and mercy
were the constant references to threat to democracy. And my
problem with that is the suggestion in America today that
unless you vote for a Democrat party, can it you
were in some way voting for an end of democracy.

(09:05):
And I thought we were going to move past that
kind of divisive verbiage. Joe didn't give anybody any indications,
audibly or visually that he's up to the next hundred
days any more than he was up to the next
four years. Eyes weren't blinking, upper lip wasn't moving. Stare

(09:30):
looked scared losing his place. He looked as old as ever.
The essence of his speech, well, that came about one
minute in.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Listen.

Speaker 7 (09:44):
I've made it clear that I believe America's had an
inflection point on those rare moments in history. On the
decisions we make now, I'm to termine our fate of
our nation and the world for decades to come. America's
gonna have to choose between moving forward or backward, between

(10:04):
hope and hate, between unity and division. We have to
decide do we still believe in honesty, decency, respect.

Speaker 8 (10:15):
Now?

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Of course, the way that's written is a vote for
anybody but him prior and Kamala Harris now is the
opposite of that, that old dangerous chestnut meat him.

Speaker 7 (10:29):
Justice and democracy in this moment, we can see those
we disagree with, not as enemies, but as fellow Americans.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Can we do that out of one side of your mouth?
Can we see people we disagree with as fellow Americans?
Right after he'd and throughout the speech, you mean at
least four references that I recall to democracy's at stake,
So which is it. People we disagree with are fellow
Americans as they've always been. Or any vote for anybody

(11:01):
other than a Democrat is a vote against democracy and
for chaos and for lack of character and for threat.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
This is going to come up with Telsea Gabbard's here,
but it needs to come up right now.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
The border crisis we have is not because Joe Biden
was old or cognitively impaired. The identity crisis in America
we have, and the cultural crisis we have in America
today is not because Joe Biden's old or cognitively impaired.
The interest rate, the debt, the inflation, and it's not
just Joe Biden. All presidents of all parties have gotten

(11:39):
us there. None of that has to do with Joe
Biden's age or cognitive ability. It's a failed worldview and
a failed policy view by a specific party that demonizes
anyone who doesn't think like them. And the name of tolerance,
they are the most intolerant, and the name of peace

(12:06):
and victory, they're the most disruptive to peace.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
And this speech was it? What a shame, What a
shame that a man, well, what a shame?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
That somebody can spend their entire life in Washington until
cognitive impair ushers them to the nursing home. But you
know what a shame. This is how the career ends,
same old samo. I looked at my son and I said,
you know this is ending with well, the.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
United States of America. There's nothing we can't do, there's
nothing that's not in our capability.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
But the expectations couldn't have been low any lower, and
he still managed to not meet them. And now everything
turns over to Kamala. Although there are some headlines from
interesting sources like Newsweek, People, NPR, Politico.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Should be friendly areas for Kamala Harris. I'm so convinced yet.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
It's all a wave and a narrative game, but it
is literally clinging to its life as reality snuffs it out.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
That's your Thursday, July twenty fifth.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
We'll put some a lot of specifics to that between
now and the end of the third hour.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Miss a little, you'll miss a lot, miss a lot,
and we'll miss you. This is your morning show with
Michael del Chrono.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Thanks for waking up with your morning show. I'm Michael
Delgorno and here's what you need to know waking up
your top five stories of the day.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Well, it's official. From the Oval Office, Joe Biden kind
of explained why he dropped out.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Brian Shook as our no longer the road to the
White House for Joe Biden.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
Road to the White House twenty twenty four. President Biden
addressed the nation Wednesday for the first time since his
decision to drop out of the twenty twenty four election.

Speaker 7 (13:52):
It's not about me. It's about you, your families, your futures.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
It's about we, the people. We can never forget that,
and I never have.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
While speaking from the Oval Office, the President said the
best way forward for the country is to pass the
torch to a new generation. He said now is the
time for fresh and younger voices, as he endorsed Vice
President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for president.
Biden announced on Sunday he would exit the race in Washington,

(14:26):
I'm Brian Shook.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Fox News is proposing a debate between Vice President Harris
and former President Donald Trump. Mark Mayfield has the details.

Speaker 9 (14:34):
The network has suggested the debate be held September the
seventeenth in Pennsylvania. Trump had been scheduled to fix President
Biden in a second debate on September the tenth, hosted
by ABC News, before Biden decided to drop out of
the race. MoOx News Media has sent letters to both
campaigns about the proposed debate that would be moderated by
Brett Maher and Martha McCallum. Trump has said he's willing
to debate Harris multiple times now that she is the

(14:57):
presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Meanwhile, George Stephanopolis's negotiating, whoever does worse than the debate,
we'll visit with him in a consolation interview. Apparently this
is how it works now. The networks just go directly
to the candidates. There is no presidential Debate committee. One
of two people injured in the attempted assassination of former
President Donald Trump has been released from the hospital.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
That's great news. Tammy Trihilo has the story.

Speaker 8 (15:22):
On Wednesday, Alleghany Health announced David Dutch had recovered from
his injuries and was discharged. Dutch was shot and wounded
in the assassination attempt during Trump's campaign rally in Pennsylvania
earlier this month. James Coffenhaber was also shot and injured,
but he remains hospitalized in serious condition. Former fire chief
Tory Comparatore lost his life in the shooting.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
I'm Tammy Trichillo.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
For House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is speaking out against Prime
Minister bb net and Yahoo and his speech to Congress.
Pelosi skipped Net and Yaho's address so she would be
the authority on how well he did. But she did
attend listening sessions with families of hostages held by Hamas.
I find it interesting that somehow Hamas invades Israel, rapes

(16:08):
and kills thousands, takes hostages, that this administration headed by
her party hasn't gotten back, and that's somehow Israel's fault.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
She said.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
It was one of the worst presentations ever given by
a former dignitary. She added, the Israeli families she was
with her asking for a cease fire deal that will
bring the hostages home. I'm sorry has Hamas said that
if they all stop firing, will release the hostages, because
the last time I heard from Mamas, they were saying, oh,
we don't know that there are any hostages still alive.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Outside the Capitol.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Thousands like the Democrat Party gathered in protest over the war.
They still have an eye problem. The Dems can't pick
whose side they're on, terrorists or Israel and sports Dbacs,
Guardians and Rangers one, Mariners, raised, Nats and Cardinals all
lost birthdays. Friend star Matt LeBlanc, this is where you're
supposed to play the you do there. It is NFL

(17:07):
quarterback and former Adabama Crimson tad quarterback Bress Young twenty
three years old. Today, former vall and New Orleans Saint
running back Alvin Kamara is twenty nine years old. And
my snake guy just a personal one. Brendan Reynolds and
a former co worker from KRMG and Telso, Oklahoma, Drew Anderson,
also celebrating birthdays.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Hey he's the snake expert. Oh, don't never have a
snake issue. I call Brendan that a black pot. Hi.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
I'm Michael del Jorno and your morning show can be
heard live as it's happening five to eight am Central
and six to nine Eastern non great stations like six
twenty WJDX at Jackson, Mississippi, or AKRONS, News Talk six
forty w HLO and Akron, Ohio and News Radio five
seventy WDAK and Columbus Georgia love to be a part
of your morning routine. But we're glad you're here.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Now.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Enjoyed the podcast President Biden's official farewell. Wow, not fairwell
for the president's even farewell from the race, because apparently
he's not too sick to run.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
He just.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Doesn't think he can win, which is fine to do
if you haven't already had an entire primary.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
But now you.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Have over one hundred million dollars and over two thousand
delegates that you just oh, I guess I'll.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Give him to this person. What changed your mind?

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Tada?

Speaker 1 (18:26):
As they say, this was one of the memorable parts
right up front.

Speaker 7 (18:33):
Spend the honor of my life to serve as your president,
but in the defensive democracy, which is a stake I
think is more important than any title.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Okay, so that's the premise of the speech. It's been
the honor of his life to be a president bought
in the fight for democracy, and with the fight and
fate of democracy at stake, that's more important than the title.

(19:03):
The Democrats continue, Remember I can't remember whose name. Let
me look real quick. Out of respect, I don't get
to talk to many of you. Randy Randy just texted me, Yes,
we're a republic. I pledge allegiance to the flag of
the United States of America and to the republic for

(19:23):
which it stands. In fact, the President even quoted and
told the Benjamin Franklin story. Comes out of Constitutional Hall.
Everybody's screaming, what do you have? What do you have,
Madam Secretary? For you, we have a republic if you
can keep it. But Barack Obama came along and started
calling it a democracy, and at first people would correct him.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Then they say, oh, let him go. He's a great
Obama siah. He knows.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
So we go from a republic to a democracy to
mob rule too. Democracy becomes the Democrat Party, its platform,
it's candidates, and anybody that opposes them is an insurrectionist
in an enemy of the state. If they don't win
an election, democracy has failed. Whomever the people choose is

(20:12):
democracy and action if it's fair and accurate. So here
I am last night, trying to have a you know,
a human moment. All right, let the old man say goodbye.
I mean, my expectation's going to have been lower. Yeah, maybe,
just maybe he'll do his best job ever, you know,
because he's relaxed, no pressure, and right off the bat,

(20:34):
he's got to go into democracy's at stake. I guess
trying to incite the next shooting.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
In the end, if Joe Biden is too old to
run for president, he is too old to be president.
That was never addressed. Though looking at him and listening
to him, I don't think you were very reassured he's
in any better condition. And now the narrative wave, now

(21:09):
the you know we talk about it, is it a
It really is a gaslight. I mean, I have several
stories lined.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Up I could do.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
I don't even know if I want to go through
the mental Olympics to do it. But these people looked
you right in the face just weeks ago, whether it's
a White House Press secretary, whether it's Vice president now
candidate for president, Kamala Harris, whether it's Joe Biden, whoever,

(21:50):
it looked you right in the eye and told you
he's sharp as ever. He's running circles around us all
he's up all night. That the same people that a
few weeks later tell you, hey, this guy is he's
too out of it. He can't he can't serve another
four years he's got a step aside translation can't win,
and then he doesn't even address it in his farewell speech.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
What did you get?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
An exaggerated list of his accomplishments, and then like a
State of the Union address, the ridiculous promise is that
in the last hundred days, which I didn't think he
was gonna make it through the last hundred seconds of
the speech, in the last hundred days, he's going to.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Solve cancer and wars, fix the.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Economy, which of course begs you to ask the question
why didn't he.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Do it in the first hundred days.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
President Biden, for the first time since dropping out of
the race on X, addressed the nation from the Oval
Office with his family behind the cameras.

Speaker 7 (22:49):
It's not about me, It's about you, your families for futures.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
It's about wean the people.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
We can never forget that, and I never had.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
President of course, reminded us all this is a very
important time.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
I've made it clear that I believe America is at
an inflection point on those rare moments in history. One
of the decisions we make now we determine our fate
of our nation and the world for decades to come.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
We must stay true to our core values.

Speaker 9 (23:22):
We have to decide.

Speaker 7 (23:23):
Do we still believe in honesty, decency, respect, freedom, justice,
and democracy?

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Yes, we do.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Even after we elect a Republican, we still believe in
those things. Even if we elect a Democrat, we believe
in those things. Only Democrats believe that. Unless you vote
for a Democrat, you don't believe in those things. And then,
of course unite so long as you vote for them.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
In this moment, you can see those we disagree with,
not as enemies or but as I'm in fellow Americans.
Can we do that these character in public life still matter?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
God, I hope.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
So.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Here's an article that came out on June twelfth, just
to give you perspective. This is six weeks ago, which,
by the way, in this election cycle is an eternity
with voter concern about the president Joe Biden's age haunting
his chances of reelection. A new poll shows is next

(24:25):
in line, Vice President Kamala Harris, facing serious doubts about
her ability to win the presidency herself, let alone, to
perform the job well if she were to inherit it.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
This is from Politico.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Politico Morning Consult reveals that only a third of voters
think it's likely Harris would win the election. Do you
really think six weeks later, just because Joe's out, that's changed.
I mean, there could be a wave and emotion of that,
but it will last. Kamala Harris ran for president. She

(25:04):
was the first to lose in the primary sweepstakes. She's
only on the ticket because of the Clinton apparatus that
put her there with John Podesta and George Soros.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
In the middle.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
She's never won an election at a national level, and
now she's suddenly the heir apparent.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
How could all of this change in six weeks.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Well, there's one person that hasn't changed, Barack Obama for president.
Barack Obama has not endorsed Kamala Harris's presidential bid, though
the rumors are swirling.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
This morning. According to NBC, he's about to why.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
The New York Post reports he doesn't think she can
beat Donald Trump. I'll say what you want about Barack Obama.
He hasn't changed from six weeks ago. He's not just
jumping on the narrative wave like it's a reality. Following
Joe Biden's shocking resignation from the race on Sunday, and

(26:05):
his immediate endorsement of the vice president. Most of the
Democrat elite have been quick to rally behind Aris, but
not Obama.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
According to.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
A Biden family source, Obama's upset because he knows she
can't win. According to a Biden I didn't say Obama
family source. According to a Biden family source, it says
if Joe Biden, who, by the way, I know this
seems like an attorney to go.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
I don't know. About a hundred hours ago, was saying
I'm staying the race.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I'm not going anywhere because I'm the only one that
can beat him, and I will beat him.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Is that Joe Biden's way? You know, he was Obama's
vice president of encouraging Obama not to en sir.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Get Obama on the record is believing she can't win,
because that's really Joe, the things she can't win.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
And in light of that, what does that do to
his speech?

Speaker 2 (27:14):
The hits just keep coming this morning, I tell you,
forty four minutes after the outage, just waking up these
ah your.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Top five stories of the day.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Well vote dot Org says it's suddenly seen a dramatic
jump and voter registration since President Biden announced he will
no longer seek reelection. Brian Shook with the sp I
mean Brian Shook with the story.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
The organization said it helped register more than thirty eight
five hundred voters in the forty eight hours after Biden's announcement.
That's the largest number of new voters it is registered
in a two day period this election cycle. It's also
more people than who registered last September, when Taylor Swift
urged fans to vote. Vote dot Org also noted that

(28:02):
eighty three percent of the newly registered voters are young
people between the ages of eighteen and thirty four. I'm
Brian Shook.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Well, we knew Biden was out of the race, He
tweeted as much.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Did we get any other really useful information in a
vague Oval Office Farewell, not really, but Mark Mayfield has.

Speaker 9 (28:20):
Today in politics, President Biden is addressing the nation for
the first time since his decision to drop out of
the twenty twenty four election.

Speaker 7 (28:27):
It's not about me. It's about you, your families, your futures.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
It's about we the people. We can never forget that,
and I never have.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Well.

Speaker 9 (28:39):
Speaking from the Oval Office yesterday, the President said the
best way forward for the country is to pass the
torch to a new generation. He said, now it's the
time for fresh and younger voices, as he endorsed Vice
President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for president
and former President Trump is speaking for the first time
since President Biden ended his campaign for reelection. Speaking at
a rally and Charlotte, Trump called Biden the worst president

(29:01):
in the history of our country, saying he had decided
to endy spid for a second term because he was
losing so badly. He went on to say the Democratic
Party pushed Biden out, something he called undemocratic. Trump also
took SHOT's Advice President Harris, saying she is much worse
than Biden and will destroy the country within a year.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
That's politics.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Mark Mayfield, NBC News Radio, all right, this is no
way to wake up. Give me some good news.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Tammy Trihila with the story of one of two injured
in the Trump assassination released.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
From the hospital.

Speaker 8 (29:28):
On Wednesday, Alleghany Health announced David Dutch had recovered from
his injuries and was discharged. Dutch was shot and wounded
in the assassination attempt during Trump's campaign rally in Pennsylvania
earlier this month. James Coppenhaveer was also shot and injured,
but he remains hospitalized in serious condition. Former fire chief
Corey Comparatore lost his life in the shooting.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
I'm Tammy Trihello.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
The presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Junior has sent
out one hundred thousand push notifications, do that, letters, emails,
campaign signs, wow, commercials.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Oops, No.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
The presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Junior has sent
out one hundred thousand fortune cookies.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
To restaurants across New Hampshire. Actually, don't make fun. I
think this is brilliant.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Did you imagine your in New Hampshire is sitting down
having yourself a little.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Kung pou chicken. Afterwards you open up your fortune cookie.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
There is vote for me Eric, click on this, we
click on this QR code in your future.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
I think it's brilliant, don't you. Yeah?

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Now, if he really wants to get onto something, maybe
slipping inside and Chrispy Cream please.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Jewie fill donut. Would not be a surprise that I'd
vote not ones, I'd vote often.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
RFK fortune cookie messages in New Hampshire. You've got your
not so fortunate news. More of our city teams lost
yesterday than one. The Mariners lost two to one of
the Angels, Rais lost six to three to the Jays.
NAT's lost twelve to three to the Podres. Cardinals got
shut out five z it by the Pirates. However, other
d Backs, Guardians and Rangers won.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
Hi there, I'm Kimmy Stevens and my morning show is
your Morning Show with Michael Dolgorn.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Thanks for waking up with your morning show. I wasn't
a good mood until fifty two minutes ago because Telsea
Gabbard is going to be here and now about twelve minutes.
Lieutenant colonel in the United States Army and Iraqi veteran,
a former member of the House of Representatives from the
state of Hawaii and a former presidential candidate who finally,

(31:48):
after I don't know how many years it was, eight
years as a member in the House, as a candidate
for president of the United States and the Democrat ticket,
finally says, you know what, this party's broken. I often
view it this way. You'll get a good you'll get
you'll have a good idea of what you stand for.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
We don't have them anymore.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
But if you looked at your banking statement and check
book statement, you can tell who you are by the
money you spend. If you went to my bank statement,
you will see this guy either really likes to eat
out or he really doesn't like his wife's cooking because
he's spent a lot of money at restaurants.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Oh boy.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
And it's not selfishly alone or with friends. It's with
my family. My check bill gives me away. I love
my wife and kids. So the bottom line is do
you ever pray for democrats? I can tell you this.

(32:52):
The one I had the hardest time, and it was
a struggle, and I failed more than I succeeded for
eight years was praying for Barack Obama. And how dumb
is that we're all on a plane and he's the pilot.
Why wouldn't you be praying for him? Just became difficult.
It just gives you a sense if you have any
personal divide. The truth of the matter is, and I

(33:13):
believe this with all my heart, you should pray for
democrats almost more than Republicans. If democrats would right their course,
it would be more meaningful for America, far more meaningful
than if the Republican Party won any more. Right, the
reality is the pendulum from John F. Kennedy and the
same wounded Ted Kennedy is breathtaking. Let alone FDR to LBJ,

(33:40):
to Barack Obama to Joe but Ta, Kamala Harris and
so far left that they've taken the country with it. Therefore,
for the country to come back, your best bet is
not civil war or more extreme right silos. It's a
return to for the Democrat Party. Oh so, it's kind

(34:02):
of like the school argument. Do we pull our kids
out of public school because it's not good education, it's
not preparation for higher education, it's just in doctrination and
everything we stand opposed to in our beliefs. Or do
we stay to try to help and change yet, Well,
if you really made that the priority in staying and
started having some change, maybe for Telsey Gabbert, she came

(34:24):
to the conclusion, for the love of country.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Leave the Democrat Party.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
We'll ask her why she's in Nashville for two days
of book signings, and we'll talk to her about everything
that's happened, from assassination attempt to vice presidential choice to.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
The president stepping aside Dundcy Gabbutt. Her book is on
Simon and Schusta For the Love of Country, Leave the
Democrat body behind it. I really hope you do that.
